[KhaamaPress] The Afghan National Army (ANA) has cleared Jalriz-Maida Wardak highway from roadside mines planted by gunnies in the area, said the Ministry of Defense in a statement Tuesday, after carrying a "successful" operation at the location.
"#ANA cleared off Jalriz — Maidan Wardak highway from Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... and IEDs last night," said the MoD in a tweet.
According to the statement, the roadside mines were planted by the Taliban bad boys, which was the discovered and defused by security forces.
"They highway was was blocked due to IEDs placed by #Taliban," the tweet added. "During the operations conducted by commandos, 14 Taliban were killed and 20 IEDs were discovered and defused."
The Taliban did not immediately comment on the incident.
Officials Seize Explosive-Laden Car, Nab Suspect
[KhaamaPress] The Counter Narcotic Police of Afghanistan (CNPA) has seized an explosive-laden vehicle, after carrying an operation in Police District 3 (PD3) of Kandahar city, said the Ministry of Interior Affairs in a statement Tuesday.
At least one suspect has been arrested in the case.
"CNPA discovered & seized an explosives-laden vehicle in PD#3, Kandahar City of Kandahar province," said the MoIA in a tweet.
According to the statement, at least 2,000 rounds of PK machine gun, including a huge number of rockets and grenades, were loaded in the vehicle.
"The vehicle was carrying 2,000 rounds of PK machine gun, 50 RPG-7 rocket propelled grenade warheads & 17,960 light rounds," the tweet added. "The driver was arrested in connection with the case."
The came at a time the Afghan National Defense Security Forces (ANDSF) carried multiple operations throughout the province, foiling a number of attempted attacks by the Taliban ...Arabic for students... forces of Evil since Monday.

Officials did not provide further details on how the plot was halted but said the terrorist was identified before he succeed in his target of attacking security forces.
"A suicide kaboomer was identified and eliminated with his boom-mobile by #ANA when he wanted to attack ANDSF in Zherai district of Kandahar prov," said the MoD in a tweet.
According to the statement, "Fortunately, the ANDSF were not harmed in the incident."

Abedi, 23, made the admission in October, while in prison, as he was visited by two members of the public inquiry’s legal team, according to the Telegraph.

Authorities in Ohio have identified a longtime Franklin County sheriff's deputy as the law enforcement officer who shot and killed a Black man in Columbus last Friday.
Law enforcement said the man was waving a gun. His family said he was carrying a sandwich.
The sheriff's office said the deputy who fired the shots, Jason Meade, a 17-year veteran of the force, was assigned full time to a U.S. Marshals Service runaway task force at the time of the incident.
The task force had wrapped up an unsuccessful search for "violent mostly peaceful suspects," according to police Sherlocks, when the shooting took place.

The owner of the RV, "@AnarchoThrash," another account that espouses open support for Antifa ...the armed wing of the Democratic Party... on Twitter, responded: "I also bear responsibility for this incident as the RV was mine, and I was the oldest person in that RV." The antifa activist hinted that a "young" individual was involved in the sexual incident.

On the day of the alleged sexual abuse, the city of Denver had planned to clear the Five Points tent encampment. Far-left gunnies opposed the clean-up and set up around-the-clock patrols.

The city is currently facing a federal lawsuit over such efforts to clean up sprawling tent cities. [THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] Black Lives Matter-Antifa ...the armed wing of the Democratic Party... and other left-wing snuffies have repelled police and created a new "autonomous zone" in north Portland to protect a house being illegally occupied by squatters.
The protest erupted after police raided a house on Mississippi Avenue around 5 a.m. on Tuesday. For months, radical left-wing activists had been occupying the property known as the "Red House" to protect squatters who were legally served multiple eviction notices.
The Portland Police Bureau assisted the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office this morning in initially clearing out the property. Police encountered resistance, including from a person with a firearm who was taken into custody. Several other guns were recovered at the scene. Soon after, Antifa accounts on social media called for comrades to retake the space.
"There is an active call for numbers, defensive gear and supplies, and change of clothes/bloc," tweeted the Pacific Northwest Youth Liberation Front. "Get up and get your ass to 4406 N Mississippi Ave."
By the later morning, around 100 Lions of Islam gathered outside the property to set up an "autonomous zone." They set up barriers on the street using stolen property and reinforced them with power tools. Traffic has been shut down on that part of the street. They put up a sign that reads, "No Jurisdiction," echoing the rhetoric of the former Capital Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ) in Seattle that ended in multiple shootings and homicides.
When Portland Police officers responded to the growing "autonomous zone" in north Portland, they were attacked and chased away by rioters. Shocking video footage shows rioters brazenly running up to attack officers and smash police cruisers. In anticipation of police returning, rioters have assembled a large pile of rocks to be used as projectiles.
At least 10 suspects were arrested at the early morning raid by police for trespass and other offenses. Transsexual suspect Lester Lou Wrecksie, formerly known as Teresa Lou Gronwoldt, was among those booked into jail. Wrecksie was arrested in July at a BLM-antifa riot in north Portland and charged with felony riot, resisting arrest and other crimes. All those charges were dropped by the district attorney’s office.

Protesters have been camping out for months to prevent the eviction of the Kinney family but on Tuesday morning, tensions escalated and protesters used fences and barricades set up by law enforcement officials to surround the home, which has been named the "Red House on Mississippi" due to it's location on Mississippi Ave. in North Portland.
Zane Sparling of the Portland Tribune shared photos and videos on Twitter of the autonomous zone set up around the home.
"Portland has a new autonomous zone here on Mississippi Avenue," Sparling wrote, featuring a video showing fences and other items used as barricades to stop law enforcement officials from entering the area.
"The barricades at Portland's newest autonomous zone are being reinforced with power tools... no sign of police since they were forced back. Observers tell me the clash reminded them of recent scenes in Gay Paree," Sparling wrote in another tweet, showing several pictures of signs around the autonomous zone that read, "Red House Sovereignty" and "No Jurisdiction."
The newly erected autonomous zone comes after months of months of battles between the Kinney family, protesters and law enforcement officials.
According to a website for the red house, the home was foreclosed on in 2018, but the Kinney family, who have lived in the home for 65 years, challenged the foreclosure. Despite the challenge and a long legal battle, a Multnomah County Judge sanctioned the eviction in February, commanding the county's sheriff's office to remove the family.
"The judgment was issued prior to state and federal emergency moratoriums. The eviction moratoriums do not apply to evictions based on post-nonjudicial foreclosures, such as this case," the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office wrote in a blurb.

As I understand it, voluntary for true Muslims, Dron66046. All unbelievers pay jizya, which is whatever the ruling Muslim authorities and the person collecting it from the unbeliever he faces say it is, up to all he has plus his life. The synthesis of the argument is that to takfiris like ISIS, any Muslim who does not completely agree with their thinking is apostate, and must therefore be treated like any other unbeliever.

on December 3, reliable sources informed SOHR that the members of a joint checkpoint of civil and military police at the entrance of Afrin city arrested an old man from Kafr Nubl city in southern Idlib, while attempting to enter Afrin with his family on their way to Azaz city.
According to SOHR sources, the old man was arrested for "dealing with Syria Democratic Forces", despite his wife and daughter were escorting him, as they were heading to Azaz city to register the daughter in university and to visit their relatives. Brig. Gen. Abdolrasool Ostovar, formerly the deputy commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Ground Forces, contracted coronavirus while on an "advisory mission" in Iraq in September, Tasnim reported.
Iranian media often uses the term "advisory mission" to describe Iranian military presence in countries such as Iraq and Syria.
According to the report, Ostovar had been in a coma for over two months before dying in an IRGC-run hospital in Tehran.
Iran's Mehr news agency said Ostovar had fought in Syria and Iraq alongside Quds Force Commander Gen. Qassem Soleimani , who was killed in a dronezap in Iraq on Jan. 3.
Several senior Iranian officers, serving with the IRGC and the Quds Force have died since the pandemic reached Iran in February.

This operation was the second of its kind within a month that SDF conducted with the support of the Global Coalition against ISIS northeastern Syria, according to the Coordination Center.
