-Great Cultural Revolution
They say they are like you. They are not like you...
[National Pulse] The American Conservative Union (ACU) — which hosts the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) — took a six figure donation from a leading left-wing fund for the purposes of "civil rights, social action, advocacy," according to the fund’s financial records dated 2020, The National Pulse can exclusively reveal.

The New Venture Fund, whose mission statement revolves around "Race, Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion Commitment," issued a cash grant of $183,250 to the ACU, run by Matt and Mercedes Schlapp, in 2020. The fund is known for its work supporting anti-Trump, anti-conservative initiatives.
CPAC is a horrendous scam. Death from within. Grifters prove beyond a doubt that money is fungible. They will take it from anywhere and assume any position to get it. Like pr0n stars but less photogenic and athletic...
The ACU refused to comment when approached by The National Pulse. The full 990 can be read here.

The New Venture Fund was started in 2006 and ungirds much of the political left’s activities in America today. It’s President, Lee Bodner, is a former managing director of Arabella Advisors, which even the Atlantic magazine described as a "Massive Progressive Dark-Money Group" which has targeted former President Donald Trump, his administration officials, as well as issuing over a billion dollars a year to left-wing groups and astro-turfed political operations. Bodner is also described as building "strategic partnerships with nonprofits, including the Clinton Foundation".

-War on Police-
The Results of Defund The Police for Minneapolis
Minneapolis now has about 300 fewer Police officers leaving 544 to protect 420,000 residents according to a recent headcount. Do the math: 544 police spread over 3 shifts and weekends covering 420,000 citizens. Add to it a city with about a 11+% INCREASE in VIOLENT crime for 2021.

As Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey openly stated back in Jan. 2022, it's "a very grave problem."
"Lucky I have my own police security detail, whut?"
The city is also faced with a declining tax revenue base, likely due to an increase in violent crime since 2019.

It seems the City Radical Politicians and their Woke Social Justice agenda caused many officers to leave. Many leaving filed PTSD disability claims, claiming they suffered abuse by both citizens and the politicians playing the citizens for votes. It should be noted a respectable number left for other police departments offering greater career stability, support, and/or higher pay.

So despite the $7,000 hire-on bonus/ incentive (bribe) offer. Minneapolis is not seeing the numbers applying that are needed to fill the 300+ open LEO's slots.

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
Briefly about Ukraine. 08.03.2022
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Commentary by Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin

[ColonelCassad] Briefly about Ukraine.

1. Mariupol. The evacuation through the humanitarian corridors never started. Only a few people get out of the city. In some areas of the city, the cleansing continues. There is also no mass evacuation from Volnovakha.

2. There was also no special evacuation from other cities where the “Day of Silence” was announced today - whoever could, tried to get out by train from Kharkov, the terrorists released only foreign hostages from Sumy. In the direction of the Russian Federation, they are trying not to let anyone out. The total number of hostages in the hands of Ukrainian terrorists, according to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, is more than 4,000,000 people.

3. Kharkov. Fighting continues around the city. MLRS of the Armed Forces of Ukraine work directly from city blocks. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are also trying to strengthen themselves in the Chuguev area, which they heroically recaptured from themselves 2 ago.

4. Izium.
Sometimes transliterated as Izyum, which means raisin.
The situation is not entirely clear. Locals say the Russian Armed Forces took the city, but this has not yet been officially confirmed. The city center was severely damaged.

5. Kyiv. The RF Armed Forces are expanding their zone of control to the west of Kyiv, plus they are building up forces on the outskirts of the Brovary area. The Armed Forces of Ukraine claims that there is an accumulation of forces for an early assault.

6. Nikolaev. The Governor urges to prepare for the imminent street fighting. The RF Armed Forces continue to accumulate forces near Nikolaev. To the north of the city clashes were noted.

7. Odessa. No major changes. The Nazis are preparing for all-round defense in Odessa, realizing that after Nikolaev they will come for them. The recently shot down Romanian MiG-21 appears to have been shot down by a Ukrainian air defense system operating in the Odessa region.

8. LPR. Fighting continued in the area of Rubezhnoye and Zolotoe. There are also reports of ongoing fighting in Popasna.

9. DPR. Donetsk-Gorlovskaya agglomeration without significant changes. The enemy continues to shell the settlements of the republic.

10. Zaporozhye direction. Fighting was reported in the Gulyaipole area. There is no advance to Zaporozhye itself through Kamenskoe yet. On the territory of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, events in the spirit of the CTO in the Caucasus are gradually being promoted - the collection of weapons, the identification of the organizers of speeches, the capture of employees / agents of the SBU / GUR MOU.

In general, after today's disruption of humanitarian corridors and the refusal of the Zelensky gang to discuss the recognition of Crimea and the LDNR, the answer to the question of further actions of the RF Armed Forces seems self-evident. Let's add to this the US ban on Russian energy carriers, which promises new shocks in the market tomorrow. The conflict continues to unwind, as for the United States and for the Russian Federation it is of a fundamental nature. Ukraine is just one of the theaters of the ongoing Cold War. At the moment, the hottest.

Putin snickers: Guess who owns a big chunk of Venezuela's oil?
[AmericanThinker] Under pressure from a veto-proof majority in Congress, Joe Biden loudly announced a cutoff of energy purchases from Russia, amounting to about 7% of U.S. energy imports.

"Russian oil will no longer be accepted at U.S. ports — and the American people will deal another powerful blow against Putin’s war machine," he tweeted.

Russia had been sending about 600,000 barrels of oil a day to the states in a big export surge, following Biden's bans on federal leases for drilling, halt to the Keystone XL pipeline, and other measures intended to bankrupt Big Oil in the name of "going green." The rise actually started late in the Trump administration's term, but it spiked sharply higher when Biden started clamping down on American production. As of the state of the Ukraine war, Putin has been taking home about $56 million a day from sales of crude to the states.

Well, this ought to fix them, right?

Not so fast. Biden went on to say that the loss of supply would raise energy prices for ordinary consumers and there was nothing he could do, because Putin did it.
I understand Putin was enabled by one of his cronies, one Joseph Robinette Biden.
His "solution" has not been to restore America's energy independence seen during the Trump years, but to buy from and become dependent on other suppliers. He tried hard to get the Saudis and Emiratis to pump more oil, but the sheikhs refused to take his phone calls. That leaves him with much gamier suppliers -- like Venezuela, which is currently under a huge sanctions regime dating from the days of President Trump, following the Nicolas Maduro regime's bid to oust him from a constitutionally appointed role as acting president and then the rigged and stolen election of 2020 as well as Venezuela's ongoing history of drug trafficking.

Who owns Venezuela's oil? The information is pretty hazy give that these characters don't release much information anymore, and the news shifts often, but the preponderance of evidence suggests that Russia owns a big chunk of it.
Along with the rest of the country. Venezuela has been a Soviet Captured Province for over twenty years now. Am I really going to have to explain how the Roman client patron system works and how this all started?

#2  What I enjoy so much about this is Putin did what Trump attempted to do and drain the swamp. Ukraine was a cash cow for so long. 10 million to DNC,Biden's millions,Kerry with his hand out, Soros, Clinton's are in there somewhere I am certain. So now the fun begins. Choke hold in place. Who will squeal first.

#9  For ye of short of memory Hunter Biden was a no show member of the board of a Ukrainian energy company when his dad was VP.

More specifically, he was on the board of Burisma. Burisma was founded by Mikhail Zelezny, who was also the environmental minister and the energy minister of Ukraine for Yanukovitch, who is currently hiding in Russia. (Zelezny is currently at the next level of How Not To Be Seen, because noone knows what country he's hiding in). Anyway, Zelezny basically transferred all drilling permits in Ukraine to his company and kept anyone else from drilling for natural gas an oil. Burisma makes most of its money in places like Khazakstan, doing services for the main productive oil companies, which are owned by Russia.

Burisma could basically make money working for Russia while sitting on its Ukranian permits and not do anything while making sure noone else could do anything with them that might make Ukraine slightly less dependent on Russia.

After the Ukraine got rid of Yanukovitch, they wanted to investigate the situation, but ran afoul of this guy:

Destroyer can't deploy because CO won't get COVID vaccine, Navy says
[Navy Times] An ongoing legal battle over whether the military can force troops to get vaccinated against COVID-19 has left the Navy with a warship they say they can’t deploy because it is commanded by an officer they cannot fire.

It’s a standoff the brass are calling a "manifest national security concern," according to recent federal court filings.

The issues stem from a lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida late last year alleging servicemembers’ rights are being infringed upon by the COVID vaccine mandate because their religious beliefs prevent them from taking the vaccine.

Judge Steven D. Merryday issue an order last month banning the Navy and Marine Corps from taking any disciplinary action against the unnamed Navy warship commander and a Marine Corps lieutenant colonel for refusing the vaccine.

#1  So, take the next best thing - Already safer than the Covid Vaccine proved with over 2 Centuries of use, and still going strong, with endorsements by most of today's medical community (who prescribed the 21st Centuries' Pfizer, J&J, Merck remedies) as an "all else fails fallback remedy"
Demand plummets for Vaccine

#2  ...Seen this story elsewhere, and something just doesn't feel right about it.

What they should do - and I may catch some Hell for this - is tell them to prepare to get underway, then get a squad of MPs aboard to carry this guy off, and not let him loose until the ship is out to sea.

#9  they have no reason to take MP's on the ship, wouldn't that be about the same as a mutiny if the CO has done nothing wrong? Evidently he hasn't , why give out exemptions if they can't be used. I know I'm not the smartest individual here but some really need to get out of their bullshit thinking from 50 years ago.
