-Short Attention Span Theater-
Weiner's so gross even PR flacks are disgusted by him
[NYPOST] Anthony Weiner is so toxic that the powerhouse public-relations firm that hired him is losing top-flight talent, sources tell The Post.

Arthur Schwartz, one of the top executives at MWW, quit after the p.r. firm put the horndog ex-congressman from Queens on its payroll as a public policy “expert,” the sources said.

Schwartz’s September departure is the clearest evidence of the blowback at MWW for hiring the married Weiner — who was forced out of Congress in disgrace in 2011 after he sent lewd pictures of his penis to young women under the moniker “Carlos Danger” and then lied about it.

The former Queens politician had admitted to revelations of more tawdry sexting behind the back of his wife, Huma Abedin, a top adviser to Hillary Clinton, when he ran for mayor in 2013.

#2  Maybe he can get a job as a "greeter" at Wal-mart.

He IS Huma Abedin's husband?
does the Democratic Partt GET these people? They already have the TOP TALENT of John Jerry and whatever happened to John ( Breck Boy ) Edwards?

#5  #2 Maybe he can get a job as a "greeter" at Wal-mart.

I picture Weiner at the doors of Wal-Mart with just a raincoat--occasionally he flashes some young lady.

Why the hell did Huma marry him? To provide cover for her relationship to the MB? Weiner is her beard?
Posted by: JohnQC || 09/15/2015 12:15 Comments || Top||

#6  One wonders what Weiner taught Huma and viceversa.
Perhaps that helps explain her special employee status and perks at DoS?

#7  tawdry sexting behind the back of his wife, Huma Abedin,

Behind the back? And we know this how?

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if this was all part of some slimy Clintonian operation.

#8  "... Lewd pictures of his penis..."

As opposed to tasteful penis pictures with good lighting?

Economy
U.S. drops to 16th on 'economic freedom' list, behind Canada, Chile
[WASHINGTONEXAMINER] The United States, ranked second in worldwide economic freedom as recently as 2000, has plummeted to 16th, according to a new report of world economies. The Fraser Institute's annual report, Economic Freedom of the World, showed that the country's drop started in 2010, the second year of the Obama administration.

#2  There's something wrong here. Not just behind Canada and Chile.

The top 10: Hong Kong, Singapore, New Zealand, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, Mauritius, Jordan, Ireland, Canada, with the United Kingdom and Chile tied at 10.

#3  California, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York sort of drag the whole thing down laden with the barnacles of graft, corruption, and cronyism. The price of tolerating graft, as long as your guys are doing it.

#4  I'd agree, if the Institute proffered more numbers and less ideology. Right now it ranks right up there with the Center for Science in the Public Interest for legitimacy.

Sanders: America Was Founded On 'Racist Principles. That's A Fact.'
[DAILYCALLER] SANDERS: I hope that every person in this room today understands that it is unacceptable to judge people, discriminate against people based on the color of their skin.
Yeah. You'd expect to hear some old white guy come up with something like that.
I'm surprised as all get out that the media actually reported something Bernie said, rather than just the size of his rallies. Must be a Clintonista at the DC...
And I will also say, that as a nation — the truth is a nation that in many ways was created, and I’m sorry to have to say this from way back, on racist principles, that’s a fact.
Having started out from the same cultural spot as everybody else means the whole idea's flawed. We'll have to go back and start all over again. Just as soon as we can find some way to change history.
We have come a long way as a nation.
But that doesn't matter.
Now I know, my guess is that probably not everybody here is an admirer or a voter for Barack Obama, but the point is that in 2008, this country took a huge step forward in voting for a candidate based on his ideas and not the color of his skin.
And the country ended up with a guy whose primary defining characteristic--in his own mind, not ours at the beginning--was the color of his own skin.

#4  Gee Bernie, the whole world was racist back then. Why pick on the newly minted united STATES of America, who at least banned slavery in the Northwest Territories, let alone had already done it among the constituents of the north ahead of the rest of the world? Way in the lead and still condemned.

#12  the very first foreign war the new republic of the USA ever fought was to free slaves

you know

to free the european, amerian, british and irish slaves taken by the Caliphate

the Barbary states raided and took slaves claiming Islam entitled them to take kuffrs if they wished.

so everything is relative. the US was racist compared to who?

the US enshrined the enlightenment values of the rights of the individual in a constitution

where else did that?

It is from these inalienable rights of the individual that the right to equality for black and white, man and woman, gay and straight comes from.

inalienable rights

versus negotiated rights - such as freedom to do what you like in the name of religion

#13  "Why pick on the newly minted united STATES of America, who at least banned slavery in the Northwest Territories, let alone had already done it among the constituents of the north ahead of the rest of the world? "

I could be wrong but I believe Britannia beat us on that one by a number of years. Still, Islam hasn't really gotten rid of slavery yet, will Bernie comment on that?

#15  I could be wrong but I believe Britannia beat us on that one by a number of years.

Slavery Abolition Act 1833 - Britain.

The Northwest Ordinance of 1787 - US. Passed by the Congress in Confederation prior to the adoption of the Constitution. You got to start somewhere.

#17  $18 trillion my ass! Boston's Big Dig was originally slated to cost $2.8 billion. Price tag upon completion of the project = $14.6 billion. With add-ins (like paying interest, repairing structural defects & lawsuits), even the Boston Freaking Globe estimates the final price tag to be about $22 billion.

Government
$19,346 Tax Per Worker; Feds Still Run $530B Deficit
[CNSNEWS] The federal government raked in a record of approximately $2,883,250,000,000 in tax revenues through the first eleven months of fiscal 2015 (Oct. 1, 2014 through the end of August), according to the Monthly Treasury Statement released Friday. That equaled approximately $19,346 for every person in the country who had either a full-time or part-time job in August.

#1  IIRC the Fed Debt level [public debt] is now the equivalent of slightly over US$107,000.0 per US household.

* See also PRAVDA > [True = Real] US DEBT-TO-GDP RATIO IS NOW 312.0% AND CLIMBING, US IS WELL-BEYOND THE POINT OF UNAVOIDABLE OR UNPREVENTABLE COLLAPSE.

#2  And yet, we can't have a space program anymore, can't maintain - let alone improve - our infrastructure, and can't have a military any larger than Paraguay (no offense intended). SO where does all the cash go? I imagine interest is a large chunk of change.

I track the beginning of the end to 1965, when the War on Poverty became a black hole.

#4  Possibly, Besoeker. Or we may have reached "peak Progressives" in both parties. Several of those Democrats who voted to filibuster the Iran thingy in the Senate will not be running for reelection. Ditto in the House. And at the state and local level ever more Tea party Republicans are being elected each year, shoving out Democrats and liberal Republicans alike.

#6  Just saw this on Instapundit:

GOOD IDEA: Scott Walker proposes ban on government unions.

That it's even being discussed, by the man who has already done it in his state, speaks volumes, it seems to me.

#7  tw, it also means that every union in the country will unite to do ANYTHING to stop him from becoming president.

Personally, I think abolishing public sector unions is a great idea, but I doubt it will ever happen.
