[FoxNews] New York City Mayor Eric Adams praised transit workers and first responders that stepped up as a subway train turned into a “war zone” during a violent attack on a subway car full of passengers Tuesday.
“Today was a difficult day for New York,” he said during a news briefing from another location as continues to isolate himself after testing positive for COVID-19. “We saw a quiet Tuesday morning turn the N train into a war zone as a smoke bomb was detonated and multiple shots rang out.”
“Thanks to the quick thinking of the MTA crew and the bravery and cooperation of passengers, lives were saved,” he added.
He said the attack was part of a surge of gun violence plaguing New York City and many other municipalities across the country.
“These relentless shooters are an American problem,” he said. “It is going to take all levels of government to solve. It is going to take the entire nation to speak out and push back against the cult of death that has taken hold in this nation.”
BROOKLYN SUBWAY ATTACK: $50G REWARD ANNOUNCED
Authorities announced a $50,000 reward regarding Tuesday’s subway attack in Brooklyn. Officials also named a person of interest in connection with the shooting and assault on a Manhattan-bound N train.
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) and Transport Workers Union (TWU) Local 100 put up $25,000 to match another $25,000 from the New York Police Foundation.
"We are doing everything we can to catch the man responsible for this heinous attack on our riders,” MTA Chair and CEO Janno Lieber said in a statement. “New Yorkers know that if they see something, they should say something, especially in this case. Justice must be served.”
The Brooklyn Nets also announced they will donate $50,000 to help those injured. The team held a moment of silence before Tuesday’s play-in game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The donation will come from the Nets and the New York Liberty Foundation.
Multiple people were injured, including 10 people who were shot when a gunman opened smoke grenades and began shooting on the train, the NYPD said.
“That’s the subway stop for our practice facility and for our office,” Nets coach Steve Nash said before the game. “My kids go to school not exceedingly far, so it does hit home and you just feel for all those affected and you recognize that we have a lot of growing to do as a society and a community, and you just feel for everybody in our community that was affected.”

Looks like the shooter had a bag of mid-size fireworks and a roll of fuse that the PD found.
Shooter is/was driving a rental truck out of Pennsylvania and a newer law allows such firework purchases there.

Talking heads on cable news talking about the fireworks and “extended mags” taking preparation and planning. One even said shooter was 5’5” so he probably had help. Those are stupid comments. A .380 and a bag of fireworks is something even a moron could concoct. An evil one nevertheless, but still quite rudimentary by planning and prep standards.

You could use the fireworks two ways: To create a diversion while escaping in another direction, or to cause people to panic and run from what they think is gunfire but actually drive them into the line of fire.
Both are a step up from amateur hour.

Either way NY does not have a death penalty. Because back in July 2008, Governor David Paterson (LSD) issued an executive order shuting down Death Row. Then in August 2018, Governor Andrew Cuomo (Uber LSD) announced that he was advancing legislation to remove the death penalty statute from New York State.

[PJ via Insty] On Tuesday morning, New York Lt. Gov. Brian Benjamin surrendered to authorities "to face fraud-related charges in connection with a previous political campaign," according to a report from The Daily Beast.
Benjamin was arrested on multiple charges, including bribery, over an alleged plot to get campaign contributions in exchange for a state grant.
Benjamin is expected to appear in Manhattan federal court Tuesday afternoon, and the U.S. Southern District of New York is scheduled to hold a press conference at noon.

Too late, Seanny. No chicken wings in Mariupol. It's raining men corpses. But "a pleasure" while it lasted.
Aslin said in a message posted via a contact on Twitter: 'It's been 48 days, we tried our best to defend Mariupol but we have no choice but to surrender to Russian forces.
'We have no food and no ammunition. It's been a pleasure everyone, I hope this war ends soon.'

[JustTheNews] Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger has been focused on foreigners illegally seeking to register or vote.
Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said he referred more than 1,600 cases of potential non-citizens attempting to register to vote in Georgia to local prosecutors and state investigators.
The secretary of state referred the cases to the State Election Board, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) and local prosecutors. The announcement comes weeks after Raffensperger said the state completed the first citizenship audit of the state’s voter rolls.
According to a news release, the audit identified 1,634 non-citizens as having attempted to register to vote. The state could not verify the non-citizens through the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services’ (USCIS) Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) program.
"Attempting to register to vote by an individual who knows he or she is ineligible is a violation of Georgia law," Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit District Attorney Chris Arnt said in a news release.
Officials said that no non-citizens were allowed to register to vote. Instead, the would-be voters were placed in pending status and asked to provide proof of citizenship before casting a ballot.
Raffensperger, the subject of former President Donald Trump’s criticisms, is undoubtedly trying to use the case to strengthen his position as tough on election malfeasance. He used the state-issued news release to lambast Stacey Abrams, a Democrat who unsuccessfully ran for governor four years ago and is running again this year.
Fair Fight Action, a group Abrams started, is challenging Georgia’s rules, saying it violates federal law.
The audit uncovered attempted registrations by non-citizens in 88 counties across The Peach State. While the attempts occurred between 1997 and February 24, 2022, most of the attempted registrations — 80.7% or 1,319 — have occurred since 2016.
DeKalb County had the highest number of attempted non-citizen registrants with 345, followed by Fulton County (275) and Gwinnett County (221). Five metro Atlanta counties — Clayton (141), Cobb (143), Gwinnett, Fulton and DeKalb — represented 69% of the attempted non-citizen applicants, officials said.

What did he do when the Fulton Co. Voter Scam was documented and uncovered?
What did he do when an investigation found over 24,000 multiple votes were determined to have been cast using Absentee, Fake IDs, Fake Addresses and/or illegally printed / photocopies of ballots?
What did he do to the Stacy A. NYC Staffer caught with 4,000+ blank absentee ballots at the Atlanta Airport when he left them in his rental car?

[Breitbart] A grand jury handed down felony indictments on Monday against three aides to Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, which stem from a Texas Ranger’s investigation into alleged improprieties about an $11 million contract for a COVID-19 vaccine advertising project. The awardee was a one-woman firm with a 19-month operational history specializing in Democrat candidate campaign work based in a residential apartment unit.
The grand jury in Houston indicted Hidalgo’s Chief of Staff Alex Triantaphyllis and two former high-level aides. Court records obtained by Fox 26 Houston reporter Greg Groogan show the grand jury indicted the trio on charges related to tampering with court records and misuse of official information. The two former staff members are reported to be Wallis Nader and Aaron Dunn.
In Texas, a county judge is the chief executive officer of the county’s government. Harris County is the largest county in Texas.
The indictments follow the award of an $11 million COVID-19 communications contract to a one-woman company, Elevated Strategies, Groogan reported in September 2021. The firm had a 19-month history at that time and was headquartered in a Montrose-area apartment in Houston.
The one-woman firm in question, Elevate, was selected over the lower-bidding University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston because “the firm’s background in political communications was exactly the skill set needed for the vaccine outreach campaign, which was to include digital ad buys and door-to-door canvassing,” according to the Texas Tribune.
“Y’all bring it on! Bring it on! Because there is nothing here,” Judge Hidalgo proclaimed at the August 24th meeting of Commissioners Court.
Texas Rangers executed a search warrant at the county’s administrative building on March 18. Investigators seized phones, laptops, and desktop computers from Judge Hidalgo’s deputy policy director, a senior advisor for public safety and emergency management, and the judge’s chief of staff.
All three face felony charges of Misuse of Official Information and Tampering with Records, according to court records obtained by Breitbart Texas from the Harris County District Clerk’s website.
The Harris County District Attorney’s Office confirmed they served the arrest warrants to the three defendants, the Texas Tribune reported. Prior to this investigation, Judge Hidalgo had been considered a rising star in the Texas Democratic Party as a possible candidate for statewide office.
Texas State Senator Paul Bettencourt (R-Houston) quickly tweeted the news about the six indictments against Hidalgo’s staff and praised Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg for “restoring public integrity by cleaning up the corrupt contract.”
[Breitbart] Residents in a Mexican border state torched the governor’s palace in Nuevo Leon as part of a protest against female kidnappings. Concerned citizens and activists alike are accusing state police of inaction on the problem. The latest demonstration led to a fire being set at the entrance.
Over the weekend, hundreds of activists gathered around downtown Monterrey and made their way to the governor’s palace — where they set fire to the entrance. Local police had brief clashes with protesters to keep them from causing more damage, and eventually, they dispersed.
The protests come as Nuevo Leon saw 18 women go missing in a little over 30 days and most recently, state authorities confirmed that the latest woman to be reported as missing, Maria Fernanda Contreras Ruiz, had in fact been killed.
While authorities have not publicly revealed a motive for the rise in missing women, the issue comes at a time when rival cartels are fighting for control of local drug distribution in Monterrey and reliable smuggling routes to Texas.
[Breitbart] On this week’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said that student loan borrowers would have to start paying their debt “sometime” while discussing the administration’s fourth extension on the monthly loan payments and interest.
Anchor Dana Perino said, “On December 11 of last year, you had said that getting loan rate payment back on track was the goal.”
She added, “We’ve got a lot of jobs open, wages are up, they are able to figure out a way to get to 3.6% unemployment. What changed between then and now?
Psaki said, “Well, this is something the Department of Education continues to assess. We continue to assess from a policy level. While the basics of the economy, all that data you mentioned and I’ve been talking about, Dana, is very strong, we also know and acknowledge that costs are too high for families across the country, and that’s something we need to redouble, continue to focus our efforts on. Certainly, while there isn’t everybody in the country who has student loans, a lot of people do, and this is a period microphone, but the president, Department of Education made the decision to continue the pause repayments, and we will continue to assess as we get closer to the next deadline in August.”
Perino said, “Do you think that if you hold student loan debt right now, that you will ever have to make a payment during the Biden administration?”
Psaki said, “I suspect that sometime you will, but again, we are going to continue to assess every month, every few months on where things stand, both looking, of course at COVID, but also economic data and where we need to continue to help give the American people some breathing room.”

When someone misuses a gun its front page news pushing the usual agenda even though its an isolated incident. This is another story to be buries by the same bias lame stream media.
[Breitbart] The White House released a fact sheet Monday noting that President Joe Biden is nominating former President Barack Obama’s Harvard Law School classmate Steve Dettelbach to head the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF).
The White House described Dettelbach as “a highly respected former U.S. Attorney and career prosecutor who spent over two decades as a prosecutor at the U.S. Department of Justice.”
Additionally, the Hill pointed out that Dettelbach was Obama’s Harvard Law School classmate.
The Daily Mail observed that Dettelbach espoused support for various gun controls during an “unsuccessful” bid to become attorney general of Ohio in 2018.
The Mail explained that Dettelbach “has called for an assault weapons ban and universal background checks.”
During Dettelbach’s unsuccessful bid for attorney general of Ohio, WOSU reported that he also opposed allowing teachers and staff to be armed for classroom defense, even in situations when those teachers and/or staff were “former military or law enforcement.”
Biden’s previous nominee for the ATF, David Chipman, was also pro-gun control. Breitbart News noted that he was a Gabby Giffords’ gun control associate who supported an AR-15 ban.
[Babylon Bee] BERKELEY, CA—BLM leaders are calling for more nationwide protests this summer after discovering a fantastic home on Malibu Beach that they should easily afford if they begin riling people up now.
Co-founder Patrisse Cullors appeared as a guest on CNN's Don Lemon Tonight to get the word out about a need to protest something.
"BIPOCS are constantly marginalized and stuff like that," Cullors told a vigorously nodding Don Lemon. "For example, I bought a six million dollar home with BLM donations and was heavily criticized for it. I had to resign as executive director of BLM. That's racism at work! We need to hit the streets now!"
"You're absolutely right," said Lemon. "We need to call for justice and things like that. JUSTICE for Patrisse Cullors!"
"That and George Floyd. We can get more mileage out of him. Then I can finally get that Malibu beach house I've always wanted," replied Cullors while sipping champagne. "And if anyone criticizes it we'll just say we bought it as a 'BIPOC Creative Community Space' or something like that! Hahahahaha!"
Prominent black female Ketanji Brown Jackson was asked her opinion on why people incite peaceful protests to help greedy people make money off of worldwide outrage.
"I don't know, I'm not an anthropologist," she said.

...with the kill rate in NYC how could they tell the difference?
[Breitbart] John O. Brennan, the former CIA director whose security clearance was revoked by President Donald Trump, has joined the WestExec Advisors, a "secretive consulting firm" whose alumni hold posts throughout President Joe Biden’s administration.
The firm, described as "Biden’s Cabinet in waiting" by Politico after the 2020 presidential election, employed Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines, White House press secretary Jen Psaki, and many others. Politico noted: "WestExec is loaded with other former top Democratic national security and foreign policy officials who raised money for the Biden campaign, have joined his transition team, or have served as unofficial advisers."
In a press statement Monday, WestExec announced: "John O. Brennan has joined the firm’s distinguished and growing team as Principal. As Principal at WestExec, he will advise on strategy and geopolitical risk, and help clients capitalize on key business opportunities and navigate the world’s most pressing challenges." He is described as an "exceptional public servant."
Brennan, who voted for a communist presidential candidate in 1976, is one of the originators of the "Russia collusion" hoax, launching an investigation into the Trump campaign in July 2016. CIA documents released by the Trump administration in 2020 suggested Brennan had briefed then-President Barack Obama about an apparent plot by Hillary Clinton’s campaign to tie Trump to Russian hacking. (The plot was allegedly suggested by Jake Sullivan, now Biden’s National Security Advisor.)
Throughout the Trump presidency, Brennan expressed outrage at the new administration, calling Trump’s press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Helsinki in 2018 "nothing short of treasonous" after Trump publicly doubted the U.S. intelligence committee’s conclusion that Russia had interfered in the 2016 election. He also demanded that Trump be impeached. Trump revoked his security clearance — citing, among other things, the CIA’s past spying on Democratic staffers.
In October 2020, Brennan joined a group of 50 former intelligence officials who wrote an open letter declaring that the Hunter Biden laptop was likely Russian disinformation, though they admitted they had no evidence to prove that it was

[Breitbart] Violent clashes between Muslims and Hindus broke out across the Indian states of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Jharkhand on Sunday during local observances of a Hindu religious festival, prompting authorities in two of the three states to impose curfews or gathering bans later Sunday, the Times of India reported on Monday.
Communities across Hindu-majority India held celebrations on April 10 to honor the birth of the Hindu lord Ram, or the physical incarnation of the top Hindu deity Vishnu. In the Gujarat municipality of Himmatnagar, local Muslim residents reportedly began hurling stones at a Ram procession, triggering mass violence. The Indian news site OpIndia provided a detailed account of the events on April 10, writing:
A Ram Navami Shobha Yatra or procession … in Gujarat was targeted by some local Muslim goons and stones were pelted at it. Apart from stone-pelting, some vehicles were also vandalized in this incident.
The incident happened in the afternoon when the Ram Navami procession was passing through a Muslim majority locality named Chhapariya. The procession … was attacked when the Hindu religious procession reached the Muslim dominated area. Several vehicles, which were part of the Ram Navami procession, were damaged in the attack, and one open Jeep was burnt by the attackers.
A local government official in Himmatnagar named Hitesh Koya imposed a gathering ban on Sunday evening in response to the violence. The order prohibits groups greater than five people from gathering in public and will remain in force through April 13.
A separate but similar incident occurred in the Gujarat city of Khambhat (located roughly 100 miles south of Himmatnagar) on April 10. Khambhat Muslims attacked a local Ram procession with stones and incited violence that killed at least one person, according to local reports. Police in Khambhat confirmed on April 11 that they had arrested nine people involved in the unrest, including Hindu priests.
More than 35 people were wounded in yet another Muslim attack on a Ram procession in the state of Madhya Pradesh on April 10.
The Times of India reported on the situation in the central Indian state on Monday, writing:
Curfew was clamped in the entire Khargone city of Madhya Pradesh after stones hurled at a Ram Navami procession here triggered arson and torching of some vehicles and houses, a senior official said on Monday. The incident took place on Sunday when devotees were celebrating Ram Navami. Police had to fire tear gas shells to control the situation.
Following the incident, curfew was clamped in the entire Khargone city on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday, Khargone Collector [District Magistrat] Anugrah P said.
Citizens have been asked to step out of home only for medical emergency, she said, adding that the situation is under control.
At least half a dozen people were wounded through stone-pelting incidents in Jharkand state’s Hirahi-Hendlaso village on April 10 during another tragic Muslim attack on a Hindu Ram festival. Two of the people injured in the assault remained in the hospital as of Monday listed in “critical condition,” according to the Times of India.
“As per the information, some people started pelting stone on crowd during Ram Navami procession in the area. This led to a stampede and more than half a dozen people were injured [sic],” the newspaper relayed.
“Later people from both sides started pelting stones. As tension escalated, more than a dozen motorcycles and a pickup van were set on fire at the fair. Two houses have also been set ablaze near Bhogta Garden,” according to the publication.
[Jerusalem Post] Thermal mugs given to Israeli government offices by the Chinese embassy may have contained a listening device, government sources said on Tuesday.
Then Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) began investigating the matter after finding a suspicious device in mugs the embassy sent to the Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry and Transportation Ministry. The suspicions were first reported on Tuesday morning by Army Radio's diplomatic correspondent Moriah Asraf-Walberg.
The mug arrived at the Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry earlier this week without any prior announcement from the embassy, and security found the device before it reached Minister Orit Farkash-Hacohen.
Other ministries received text messages from the embassy: “On April 12, my colleague will deliver the Passover gift for you and the Minister at your Ministry entrance. Can you please ask someone to receive [it]?”
On Sunday, the Shin Bet told ministries that any gifts from China must be scanned. Existing security instructions already required all gifts be checked by security before going to the ministers. They also must be authorized by a gifts committee before use by a minister.

It is a testament to modern bureaucratic pig headedness that any gifts whatsoever from the Chinese embassy are not destroyed with the packaging immediately upon arrival.

Follow Mexico's logic here.
If I make something.
then someone illegally acquires it, (Federal Gun Control Laws)
then when that someone uses it to commit a crime.
I am to blame????????
Using Mexico's logic for placing blame.
Every grieving or injured US citizen could sue Mexico for drug cartel, gang, and/or Mexican national illegally in the USA, that caused a crime adversely impacting a US Citizen.
BTW: Shouldn't Mexico be suing Obama & Holder for the Fast and The Furioussham? Which was an illegally conducted attempt to justify increased gun control? Using a federally ran INTERNATIONAL Gun Running operation?
[Hot Air] Michelle Irwin, the principal of San Diego’s largest high school, has decided to cut many of the school’s honors classes. In an email sent to parents, Irwin explained she was doing this for equity.
Irwin cut the courses for equity reasons, according to an email she wrote to parents. She told parents she wanted to move away from "stratifying" classes and remove the stigma from non-honors courses. She has also cited racial disparities in honors course enrollment — a problem that is mirrored nationwide...
Latino students made up 54 percent of California’s public school students in 2017 but they represented only 43 percent of students who were enrolled in at least one AP course, according to the U.S. Civil Rights Data Collection. Black students made up 6 percent of the state’s enrollment but just 4 percent of students who were enrolled in at least one AP course.
A similar trend is happening at Patrick Henry, according to limited data presented by Irwin at a school council meeting earlier this year. White and Vietnamese students made up a disproportionately higher percentage of enrollment in Honors American Literature and Honors U.S. History, while Latino students were disproportionately lower, according to Irwin’s data.
The underrepresentation is a problem because enrollment in advanced courses is associated with a host of academic benefits, such as better attendance, fewer suspensions and higher graduation rates. Participation and success in honors and AP courses are also key factors considered in college admissions.
The last paragraph is a bit confusing. The way it’s written it almost sounds as if the author is suggesting honors classes make kids into better students, thus inequity in who joins the classes is denying them that chance.
I guess that’s possible but, intuitively, it seems more likely this runs the other way. The students who already care about things like challenging classes, a higher GPA and getting into a good college (likely because their parents care about them) are the ones who will gravitate toward honors classes. The cycle of good behavior doesn’t start with the classes, rather enrollment in the classes is one more example of good students acting like good students. Getting rid of the honors classes won’t improve student behavior for the kids who aren’t interested in those things, it will just take an option away from the students who do care.
Principal Irwin’s biography does note her commitment to equity.

Patrick Henry High School in San Carlos if anyone else is curious which High School is San Diego's largest.
[Victory Girls] White House press secretary Jen Psaki must know the inflation numbers are going to be catastrophically bad.
If they weren’t going to be bad, then Psaki (who must be marking time with daily margaritas until she can leave for her own MSNBC show) wouldn’t have mentioned the upcoming report on consumer inflation.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics on Tuesday will issue its March update to the consumer price index, or CPI. The CPI is the department’s tool for measuring inflation in a basket of goods and services that the average American would buy — ranging from eggs and milk to cell phones and unleaded gasoline."
Economists consider two versions of the CPI data: The headline print that includes all prices consumers face, and a so-called core CPI that excludes often volatile food and energy price fluctuations."
The White House says it anticipates a wider-than-normal disparity between the headline and core CPI readings because of an abnormal increase in gasoline prices that occurred in March. The price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline hit a record high of $4.33 on March 11, according to the American Automobile Association."
That price has since slid to $4.11 a gallon, according to AAA."
So, the report is going to be bad. Very, very bad. The kind of bad that’s going to test just where the floor is on Biden’s approval numbers. So Jen Psaki is trying to get ahead of just how bad these numbers will be by assigning the blame, pre-emptively.

So really he was a classic school shooter. Interestingly, his biological sister Danielle Woodard, a decade older, also has a long rap sheet and is classified as a habitual violent offender...
has been marred with emotional outbursts
Cruz, 23, confessed to killing 17 people at a South Florida high school in 2018
A jury will soon decide whether he gets life in prison or the death penalty
Under Florida law, a jury must be unanimous in its decision to recommend that a judge sentence Cruz to be executed.
If any of the 12 jurors objects, Cruz will be sentenced to life in prison without parole.
Among the mitigating factors the defense will ask the jury to consider are Cruz's brain damage from his mother's drug and alcohol abuse during pregnancy, his long history of mental-health disorders, and allegations he was sexually abused and bullied.

So this happened over 4 years ago in February 2018 and this Piece of Excrement is still alive and WAS just now getting to the Death Penalty sentencing phase?
Where is the justice in this?
NOTE:Families awarded 127.5 million by the Federal Gov.
It seems the families sued and won after accusing the FBI of dropping the ball.
The families proved the FBI received tips about Cruz, his cache of weapons, and his openly stated desire to shoot up a school. But for some reason, the agents failed to intervene and prevent the violence.
It is documented that almost a month before the shooting, a tipster told the FBI that Cruz was "going to explode," and that he "was going to slip into a school and start shooting the place up."
QUESTION: Some are openly wondering ... If the failure to act was deliberate and actually part of a Bigger Gun Control Agenda? Given the well-documented FBI/DOJ Obama (5th Column) holdovers and Anti-Trump DC leadership?

This might p*ss off many indigenous folks too as they tend to believe that corn is spiritually food and not fuel.
Besides, E15 reduces my newer truck's MPG substantially. It would kill my older vehicles.

I've had several people explain to me over the years that corn grown for ethanol is not corn I'd want to eat. I have no idea if that's true, but I've heard it from multiple parties. Of course, there's still the issue that turning corn into ethanol uses lots of water and energy, so it's not a "all gain, no pain" proposition. Then there's the fertilizer issue. Then there's the "this isn't going to happen in the next 60 days, let alone before the end of the summer.
The administration is just flailing. They will probably lose both houses of congress to the Pubs, but the GOPe will assure that's no big improvement.
We would probably be better off if every American was just shipped a 55 gallon drum of potable grain ethanol ASAP.

IMPORTANT: Not all UNLEADED Fueled vehicles can handle E1-5.
According to US DOT statements "...90 percent of all vehicles on the road today fall into this 2001-and-up category, so chances are that's your vehicle."
In plain English, 10% of the US vehicles on the road cannot.
Question: Will this damage my lawnmower, boat, jet ski, snowmobile, or four-wheeler? Answer:It sure will if you don't pay attention. Generally, small engines are not designed to deal with the more corrosive E15 blend.
PLUS: Producers will use about 1/3 MORE energy (BTU's) in producing E-15 fuels than is generated by the fuel itself.
PLUS: How long does E-15 gas last? Well E10 Ethanol-blended gas lasts up to three months. Expert Sources are saying E15 will last less than 2 months in the summer heat, as Ethanol evaporation is quicker with E-15 vs E-10.
Better stock up on Gas Stabilizer, and/or pay the extra 50 to 70 cents for real Gas per gallon.
BTW: there is sure to be a run to the pumps to get E-10... another Toilet Paper shortage in the making.

M. Murcek corn grown for E-15 is the same corn used for animal feed. Less corn for feed the higher the price. Beef, chicken, and pork prices will continue to rise. Blame Big Meet (sarc).

Use of Corn to produce Ethanol has improved a lot in the past 30 years or so.
The process is far more energy efficient than it used to be and markets have developed for many of the byproducts.
The US produces far, far more corn than needed for animal feed and human use. Furthermore, in 2021 about 15 billion bushels were produced compared to only about 10 billion bushels per year in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
At $40/gal for oil, ethanol added doesn't save much but at $100/gal it does.

Keep in mind this was written Oct. 19, 2020, five days after The Post published its first story. Neither Joe Biden nor Hunter Biden had denied the story, they simply deflected questions. Didn’t these security experts think that if this was disinformation, the Biden campaign would have yelled to the heavens that the story was false?

[IsraelTimes] Mohammad Ali Ghneim, 21, is the third Paleostinian killed by Israeli troops on Sunday, as tensions spike following wave of deadly terror attacks in Israel
The Israel Defense Forces shot and killed a Paleostinian who was allegedly throwing Molotov cocktails at an Israeli car on Road 60 near the Paleostinian town of al-Khader in the West Bank on Sunday, the army and Paleostinian officials said. The 21-year-old was the third Paleostinian killed by Israeli forces in a day.
According to the Israeli army, soldiers who were carrying out an ambush near al-Khader identified a person throwing Molotov cocktails at an Israeli vehicle on the road that links the Etzion Bloc of settlements with Jerusalem.
"The soldiers shot at the suspect. A hit was identified," the Israeli military said, adding that the Molotov cocktails endangered the occupants of the vehicle.
Ahmad Salah, a local activist in al-Khader, identified the dead Paleostinian as Mohammad Ali Ghneim, 21. F*cked around and found out
The Bethlehem branch of the Fatah movement declared a strike in protest of Ghneim’s death.
Ghneim was shot and killed near the security barrier where it winds past the West Bank village, just south of Bethlehem, separating it from the bustling Road 60 highway, Salah said, claiming that Ghneim was too far away from the road to endanger cars.
The Rescuers Without Borders emergency service, however, reported that Paleostinians hurled a molotov cocktail at an Israeli ambulance on Route 60 in the area around the same time.
No injuries were reported to the occupants.
Ghneim was the third Paleostinian killed by Israeli forces on Sunday as tensions continued to spike across Israel and the West Bank.
[IsraelTimes] Israeli defense officials believe that they are stopping an average of two terror attacks every day that troops crack down on the northern West Bank city of Jenin and its surrounding area, Channel 13 news reports, citing an unnamed bigwig.
The channel says that the military claims they are preventing attacks in which weapons or snuffies are already ready to go.
Aside from mass casualty assaults, which Israel has seen a rash of in recent weeks, defense officials also classify stone-throwing attacks and certain actions during festivities between Paleostinians and troops as terror attacks.
In the towns of Burqa and Kafr Qallil, troops confiscated four vehicles and seized two firearms, the military says. Dozens of Paleostinians hurled stones at soldiers, and gunfire was heard in the area, the IDF says. No troops were hurt.
Among the detainees are two Hamas, the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®, members from Hebron, the army adds.
[IsraelTimes] A Paleostinian youth who was maimed during an Israel Defense Forces arrest operation near Jenin departed this vale of tears on Monday, according to the Paleostinian Health Ministry.
He was identified as 17-year-old Mohammad Zakarneh. The Paleostinian Health Ministry said he was maimed in his pelvis during Sunday’s incident. According to Paleostinian health officials, Zakarneh was struck by an expanding bullet — a particularly lethal type of round — and eventually died of severe blood loss.
According to the IDF, the soldiers entered the area, in the northern West Bank, in order to arrest two brothers of Ra’ad Hazem, the terrorist who killed three Israelis in a terror attack in Tel Aviv on Thursday.
The military said it shot Zakarneh after he fired at the soldiers from a passing cycle of violence.

Short answer to #1: No. Most bullets expand, but there are things you can do to make them expand more effectively. Sometimes you really don't want a bullet to expand (dangerous game hunting, armor-piercing) and then you go to lengths to design that behavior.

[IsraelTimes] Video of man throwing rocks circulates hours after 2 Israelis shot in unclear circumstances while trying to reach site
For the second day in a row, Paleostinians reportedly broke into Joseph’s Tomb near the West Bank city of Nablus and vandalized the shrine.
Video circulating on social media showed a man throwing rocks inside the site. The already-vandalized tomb can be seen in the footage. The date and time of the video could not be immediately verified, but it appeared to have been filmed during the daytime. In the video, a man is heard saying in Arabic: "There is no Joseph’s Tomb anymore, you traitors."
The comment was apparently a reference to the Paleostinian Authority, after the Nablus regional governor pledged to restore the site following its vandalization on Sunday, and reaffirmed that the shrine was under the PA’s protection. Ibrahim Ramadan also said that Nablus was a "city of three religions."
According to Paleostinian media reports, PA security forces were working Monday morning to restore order in the area surrounding the shrine.
Joseph’s Tomb is located inside Area A of the West Bank, which is officially under complete Paleostinian Authority control, though the Israeli military conducts activities there. The IDF bars Israeli citizens from entering Area A without prior authorization.
The tomb is venerated by Jews, Christians and Moslems, and has often been a flashpoint for violence. Some Jews believe the biblical Joseph is buried in the tomb, while Moslems say a sheikh is buried there.
Jewish pilgrims are usually only allowed to visit the tomb once a month under heavy armed guard. During these visits, Paleostinians routinely throw rocks at the troops, and sometimes attack them with Molotov cocktails and gunfire.
The latest vandalism came a day after approximately 100 Paleostinians broke into the site, rioted and smashed objects inside, and set it ablaze, before they were dispersed by Paleostinian security forces, IDF front man Brig. Gen. Ran Kochav said. Images on social media showed parts of the tomb inside the shrine broken and charred, and footage showed dozens of Paleostinians entering the site and smashing objects inside.
The rioting came amid festivities between Paleostinian button men and IDF soldiers, who had entered the nearby Balata refugee camp in the Jenin area as part of counter-terror operations in the wake of a number of deadly attacks.
Monday’s apparent vandalism came hours after the Israel Defense Forces said two Jews were shot and maimed while trying to reach Joseph’s Tomb. The two men, part of the Bratslav community, were attempting to get to the shrine without having coordinated with the military, which usually oversees visits by Jewish worshipers.
The circumstances of the shooting were not immediately clear. The army said the men went through an unmanned roadblock at the entrance to Nablus. According to Channel 12 news, the two said they had wanted to help restore the shrine after it was vandalized. The two men were lightly to moderately injured and the IDF was investigating the circumstances of their injuries.
The shooting and vandalism came during the Moslem holy month of Ramadan — often a period of high tension in Israel and the West Bank.
Israel has seen four deadly terror attacks in recent weeks and has ramped up security measures in response, as well as carrying out a number of raids in the West Bank.

[Dawn] Five coppers were martyred and four others injured, including a senior officer, in a terrorist attack in the Kulachi area here on Monday night.
Dera Ismail Khan is the name of a city and its surrounding district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province. It is home to Balochi and Pashtun tribesmen, so the terrorists are likely to be Balochs or Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (Gandapur group).

He said five constables, including the driver of the van, were martyred in the attack, while DSP Subhan was injured. The police personnel martyred in the attack were identified as Elite Force head constable Kamran, Niaz Ali, Munawar, Jamshed and driver Abdul Rehman. [OneIndia] The National Investigation Agency has learnt that a Bangladeshi national who entered Assam illegally was trying to set up an Al Qaeda module in eastern India.
On Sunday, the NIA conducted raids at 11 locations in Barpeta and Bongaigaon districts of Assam in a case linked to a module of the Al Qaeda in the Sub-Continent (AQIS).
On the radar of the NIA was one Saiful Islam who had entered illegally into Assam. He was working as an Arabic teacher at the Dhakaliapara Masjid. Under the garb of working as an Arabic teacher, he was actively motivating the youth to join the outfit and work for the sleeper cells, the NIA learnt.
An Intelligence Bureau official tells OneIndia that they have been witnessing enhanced activity by the Bangladesh based terrorists. Their primary intention is to recruit, radicalise and try and destabilise the BJP government in the state.
With the BJO government assuming office for a second term, there are intelligence inputs suggesting that Jihadi forces are trying to destabilise the state. Over the past couple of weeks, both the state and central agencies have stepped up operations in the state to keep a check on such elements.

The JMB at its peak was reported to contain at least 100,000 members, and an alleged 2,000-man suicide brigade, few of whom actually exploded. JMB allegedly received financial assistance from individual donors in Kuwait, UAE, Bahrain, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Libya. Reports have claimed that funding of JMB by international NGOs like Kuwait based Society of the Revival of Islamic Heritage (RIHS) and Doulatul Kuwait, Saudi Arabia based Al Haramaine Islamic Institute and Rabita Al Alam Al Islami, Qatar Charitable Society and UAE-based Al Fuzaira and Khairul Ansar Al Khairia. [Dawn] WHEN a political leader makes a doubtful claim about a foreign conspiracy to oust him one is hardly surprised. Most politicians have a tenuous relationship with the truth. But what is astonishing is that an overwhelming majority of people in Pakistain have long believed such claims, focusing largely on the US.
Here is how the argument goes. Historically, the US has preferred a certain kind of government in Pakistain, such as a military regime, to serve its security and strategic interests. As the lifespan of such governments has begun and ended with the US connection, Washington must have brought them to power and removed them when they were no longer needed, it is argued.
The reality is that political dynamics in Pakistain have nearly always functioned fairly autonomously, and the primary, though not always the sole, stimulus for the rise and fall of governments has been domestic, and not external. Zia ul Haq

[Rudaw] Several members of the pro-Kurdish Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) were detained in a police raid at the party’s office in Sirnak province in the Kurdish region (Bakur) of eastern The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire... on Monday, said media outlets and officials from the bloc.
The police raided HDP’s office in Sirnak’s Cizre town in the early hours of the day, arresting five party members, including HDP’s district co-chair Mesut Nart, and district manager Yasamine Cikmaz, reported the pro-Kurdish Mezopotamya Agency.
The reason for their detention is yet to be known, it added.
HDP’s Sirnak deputy Nuran Imir expressed her anger regarding the incident on Facebook, saying the doors of the office were broken, the windows were smashed and the office belongings were scattered on the floor.
The pro-Kurdish party’s offices are often attacked in Turkey.
An assailant attacked HDP’s Istanbul office with a knife and a gun in December.
The party’s Marmaris office was stormed by button men in July.
The daughter of an HDP member, whose photo was thrown to the floor in the recent attack, was killed in another offense on the party’s Izmir office in June.
The HDP has been under pressure for years, accused of being the political wing of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), a charge the party denies. Members of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) and the far-right Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) have called for the party's closure.
Hundreds of its members and supporters are under investigation or in jail, including Selahattin Demirtas, the HDP's former leader, along with his co-chair Figen Yuksekdag.

(ISIS) attack on the force in the Syrian desert, a conflict monitor reported early Monday.
Four members of the Iran-backed militia were killed and two others were maimed in an alleged ISIS offensive on a military site near al-Sukhna city in the eastern countryside of Homs, the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said.
The desert, also known as Badia, is a strategically valuable area as it contains Syria’s crucial gas fields and the east-west highway, which connects Deir ez-Zor to both Homs and Damascus.
No group has grabbed credit for the attack.
Security forces in Badia have arrested at least three members of the National Defense Forces for their suspected affiliation with ISIS, SOHR noted.
The recent attack comes a month after dozens of soldiers were killed and injured in an attack on a military bus in the Badia. ISIS was blamed for the offense at the time as well.
ISIS seized control of swathes of territory in Iraq and Syria, declaring a so-called caliphate in 2014, but the terror group was declared territorially defeated in 2017 and 2019 respectively. The terror group continues to launch deadly attacks from the Syrian desert, which extends from Syria’s capital of Damascus to the Iraqi border.
Sixty-one pro-regime soldiers and Iran-affiliated holy warriors were killed in alleged ISIS attacks in the desert since the beginning of the year, the monitor said last month, with 69 members of the terror group reported dead.
In its propaganda magazine on Thursday, ISIS claimed to have conducted two attacks in Syria from March 31 to April 6, killing and injuring four people.

[AlAhram] Gunmen who carried out a high-profile attack on a train in northwest Nigeria last month have released a video showing about two dozen of the hostages they kidnapped in the assault.
The images were the first indicator of how many passengers may have been kidnapped in the brazen raid, in which eight people were killed.
In the two-minute video, around two dozen people are seen sitting in a forest area, including men and women. At least one man appears to be from Southeast Asia while at least one another appears Caucasian.
Behind them a group of button men stand in a line.
"We are the passengers who left Abuja for Kaduna on Monday on March 28, 2022. We were seized on our way," one man says in Hausa language in the video.
"Since then it is only us that knows the dire situation we are in, there are women and kiddies, there are aged people with health challenges."
AFP could not independently verify the video, which was disseminated on social media.
But the CEO of Nigeria's Bank of Agriculture, Alwan Ali-Hassan, appears in the recording.
He appeared in a previous video before he was later released in what his captors said was a goodwill gesture for the Moslem Holy month of Ramadan.
Ali-Hassan's family confirmed last week it was him in the first video and that he had been freed by his captors.
The sophisticated attack saw button men blow up the tracks to halt a train from the capital Abuja to Kaduna , Nigeria's flagship rail service.
They then opened fire on the coaches before seizing an unknown number of passengers from the train's so-called VIP section.
There has been no claim of responsibility, although the finger of blame swiftly pointed at heavily armed criminal gangs known as bandidos who have ravaged parts of northwest and central Nigeria.
But analysts said the propaganda-style format of the first video, some of the language and the use of explosives in the attack have raised worries that jihadists may have participated in the attack.
Bandit gangs go after financial gain and ransom payments and usually have no ideological or religious motives. But there is concern among local authorities and analysts over alliances with Islamist bully boys.

[AlAhram] President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi congratulated Egyptians on the anniversary of the victory of 10 Ramadan, 1393 AH — the day in the Islamic calendar that corresponded to the 6 October War against Israel in 1973.
"On this day in the blessed month of Ramadan every year, we mark the anniversary of the victories of 10 Ramadan, which remind us of the greatest meanings of redemption, sacrifice, and patriotism," El-Sisi wrote on Facebook on Monday.
"I extend my warmest congratulations and greetings to the Egyptian people on the occasion of this glorious anniversary," he added.
"I pray to God to keep Egypt proud, strong, and capable of overcoming difficulties, and to guide its people to the paths of love and peace," the president wrote.
First Lady Entissar El-Sisi also congratulated the people, saying the Armed Forces' victory on that day "will remain an inspiring lesson that reflects the Egyptian military’s genius in conquering the impossible."
Egypt won the 6 October 1973 War against Israel. The victory paved the way for the return of the occupied Sinai Peninsula to Egypt after the Camp David Peace Accords were signed with Israel in 1979.
While the state celebrates the anniversary of the war on both the Hijri and Gregorian calendars, citizens only take the annual Gregorian anniversary of the war on 6 October as a national holiday.

[Breitbart] When the original Henry rifle by New Haven Arms Company came out in 1860, it was the high-tech weapon to have. Twice the magazine capacity of the Spencer, it was also less ammo-sensitive and faster in use. For the first time, cycling a rifle also cocked the hammer. Only two factors kept the 1860 model from becoming the standard: a weaker cartridge than the Spencer and the inability to mount a bayonet. The unsealed magazine with an external follower went away in the following decade. Once ammunition advanced from rimfire to drawn brass centerfire, the Henry served as a basis for further development of the Winchester line with a side-loading gate.
By the end of the 19th century, stronger actions chambered cartridges like 45-90 Sharps. By then, the Henry brand was history and looked to stay that way until Louis Imperato and his son Anthony revived the name in 1996. This wasn’t the first gun-related business for the family, but it was to be more durable than those before it. "I wanted Henry to be the best long gun company in the firearms business. Period," said Anthony, "At that time, cities were suing gun companies that made handguns, and getting into the handgun business wasn’t going to be an option. In short, being the best meant manufacturing a quality product, at a value to the consumer, backed by the best customer service in the industry."

[REGNUM] One of the most discussed topics recently is the question of when and where to complete the Special Military Operation? As usual, there are a lot of experts, connoisseurs and, most importantly, advisers. However, there are basically only two positions.
One is to complete at the western borders of Ukraine.
Second, we don't need Galicia, it will be an eternal and aching headache, so don't release it. Therefore, stop at the borders of Western Ukraine.
I consider it possible to combine both positions. This means completing a special military operation near the western borders of Ukraine. And then start real negotiations, but not with Ukraine, but with its owners in the face of the collective West.
Since the special military operation will be difficult to complete until the channels for the delivery of military aid and mercenaries from the West to Ukraine are blocked, Russia, and maybe Belarus, should close the western border of Ukraine and complete the second part of the special military operation. As we know, the first part of the operation is the liberation of Donbass and the liquidation of a significant grouping of Ukrainian troops trapped in the cauldron.
And somehow it became a shame for the state when we kind of unblocked Kiev, and there freely arrived on the night of April 8, the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen , and the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell . They did not just express words of support to V. Zelensky . They named the amounts of financial and military assistance to the Nazis, which, according to the plan of the operation, must be eradicated. Moreover, Josep Borrell, like a diplomat, declared that only a collective military victory over Russia could be a favorable outcome.
It became even more ashamed of the state when the possessed Boris Johnson arrived in Kiev . He held a planning meeting with V. Zelenskiy, promised military assistance, loans, and also spoke out against negotiations with Russia.
The possibility of combining both positions noted above was prompted by the opinion of the same Josep Borrell, the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy in the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen. He is often confused with the US oil barrel, a unit of oil equal to 158.988 liters, or 42 gallons, but at times he has interesting thoughts.
So, Josep Borrell said that, in his opinion, Russia will not stop at Ukraine and NATO countries, among other things, may fall victim to it. A very promising idea!
After M. S. Gorbachev and four other members of the State Council of the USSR fulfilled the wishes of the United States and recognized the independence of the Baltic republics on September 6, 1991, the USSR ceased to exist in its former composition and within its former borders. Then independent Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia became members of the European Union and members of NATO. Since then, these three NATO countries, on the one hand, and Poland, also a NATO country, have come to represent the most violent Russophobic wing in the collective West.
Not only are they the most barking Tabaki, they have completely surrounded the Kaliningrad region. Thus, part of the territory of Russia was completely surrounded by NATO countries.
For some time, the Baltic states allowed Russia to exercise the right to public easement established by the Roman law, that is, the right to use the territory of another state in order to meet state or municipal needs. For some time, trains carrying goods and passengers to Kaliningrad followed through the territory of the Baltic states, and planes from Russia to Kaliningrad flew over the airspace of the Baltic states.
But then the Baltic countries became insolent and forbade Russia to use their land territory and airspace. Russia had to build sea ferries to deliver goods to Kaliningrad that were previously delivered by rail, and planes now fly to Kaliningrad over neutral airspace, which is more than an hour longer and, of course, more expensive.
There are certain technical difficulties in supplying the Kaliningrad region with gas and electricity from the mainland of Russia. So, in order to supply liquefied gas through the gas receiving terminal, it was necessary to build a floating regasification platform "Marshal Vasilevsky". There were certain technical problems with the supply of electricity from the mainland to the Kaliningrad region.
The union state of Belarus, which previously exported and imported significant volumes of goods through the ports of the Baltic states, also faced difficulties. I had to negotiate with Russia on the construction of a separate port near St. Petersburg for Belarusian cargo. According to preliminary estimates, the cost of building such a port could cost about $2 billion.
We return to the topic of combining two positions, suggested by Josep Borrell, which is as follows.
Since the US and NATO have not responded to Russia's just diplomatic demands for security guarantees, including the withdrawal of NATO's borders to the 1997 borders, Russia will have to solve this problem itself. Russia has warned the US and NATO that if they do not accept proposals to meet our demands through diplomatic means, then military-political and military-technical methods will be used. The third stage of a special military operation could be the unblocking of the Kaliningrad region, which is currently surrounded by NATO countries, and the provision of a neutral and demilitarized status for Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
The railway and air links with Kaliningrad will start working again, it will probably be easier to return to gas supplies through the main gas pipeline Minsk-Vilnius-Kaunas-Kaliningrad, it will also be possible to loop power transmission lines, as was the case in the USSR.
It is likely that such an operation could be even cheaper than building a new port for Belarusian cargo.
It seems that this will not meet with much military resistance, since NATO made sure that the “cartoons” of 2018 have already become a reality - Onyxes, Zircons and Daggers fly far and hit right on target. It is unlikely that the local population will fiercely resist the troops of the Union State of Russia and Belarus, since the descendants of the Baltic SS and policemen have long moved to Europe. In fact, the majority of the Russian-speaking population remained on the territory of these states, deprived of their rights, including the right to citizenship. Now they can easily obtain citizenship of the Russian Federation.
But then real negotiations on concluding a barter agreement can begin - they give us Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. We are, as it were, eliminating the consequences of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact. We return Galicia to Poland, let them deal with the remnants of Bandera themselves. We return Transcarpathia and Bukovina to Hungary and congratulate Viktor Orban on his victory in the elections. We return the Chernivtsi region to Romania, let them sing beautiful songs together with the Ukrainians and dance colorful and incendiary dances.
We can’t give up southern Bessarabia in any way - these territories returned to the Russian Empire, when Romania was not even in the project. Izmail, Reni, Vilkovo, Bolgrad, Belgorod-Dnestrovsky will take their rightful place in the Novorossiya.
Undoubtedly, for that part of the people of the former Ukrainian SSR who consider themselves original Ukrainians, Ukraine should be preserved within its original borders and the territory that was previously called Little Russia.
It also seems that the DPR and LPR should not rush to a referendum on joining the Russian Federation. We should wait a bit until the Kherson People's Republic, perhaps, is revived, since these territories, including the southern part of Transnistria, were previously part of the Kherson province of the Russian Empire.
And, perhaps, the Odessa People's Republic will be proclaimed as the legal successor of the Odessa Soviet Republic, the beginning of which was laid by the formation of the military revolutionary committee (MRC) of Rumcherod, which began on January 13 (26), 1918, an armed uprising in Odessa. On the evening of January 18 (31), the Council of People's Commissars of the Odessa Soviet Republic was elected, which recognized the supreme authority in the person of the Council of People's Commissars of Soviet Russia and the Soviet government in Kharkov.
The fate of the Odessa Soviet Republic was sealed on December 4, 1917, when the Council of People's Commissars of Soviet Russia recognized the independence of the Ukrainian People's Republic, which included the Kherson province.
The countries of the Quadruple Alliance at that time were at war with Russia. They also recognized the UNR and signed a separate peace treaty with the UNR on February 8, 1918:
“Germany, Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria and Turkey, on the one hand, and the Ukrainian People's Republic, on the other, declare that the state of war between them has ended. The parties signing the treaty decided from now on to live in peace and friendship.
From March 1918, the Odessa Soviet Republic tried to resist the troops of Austria-Hungary and Germany, who entered Ukraine by agreement with the Ukrainian Central Rada. On March 13, 1918, the Odessa Soviet Republic ceased to exist due to the occupation of Odessa by the Austro-German troops.
There will probably be no problems with Russia's recognition of the independence of the Odessa People's Republic.
After that, the Donetsk People's Republic, the Lugansk People's Republic and the Odessa People's Republic will be able to hold referendums on joining the Russian Federation. The Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic held such a referendum back in 2006. That's when these four republics, having called the Republic of Moldova with them, together holding hands, will return to their ancestral territory, the assignee and successor of which today is the Russian Federation.

[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] Thousands of supporters of former Prime Minister of Pakistain Imran Khan ...aka The Great Khan, who isn't your heaviest-duty thinker, maybe not even among the top five... erupted into the streets of late on Sunday, one day after the incumbent leader lost a no-confidence vote in parliament.
Supporters of Khan staged mass rallies in several cities across the country to protest the Prime Minister’s ouster.
On Sunday, Imran Khan said that his country is under a "foreign conspiracy to change the regime."
"Pakistain became an independent state in 1947; but the freedom struggle begins again today against a foreign conspiracy of regime change. It is always the people of the country who defend their illusory sovereignty and democracy," Imran Khan wrote on his Twitter account
Pakistain’s parliament voted Saturday in favour of a no-confidence vote against Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government, while the Speaker resigned ahead of the decision. Parliament is expected to vote on a new prime minister on Monday.
Imran Khan called on Paks to against what he described as "an attempt to undermine the country’s illusory sovereignty," stressing that "the efforts to isolate him reflect Washington’s indignation at its opposition to its policies in the region."
Imran Khan is known for his support for a multipolar world and his criticism of US policies in Pakistain and the wider region.
The plot to remove Imran Khan from power was hatched under US pressure, after Islamabad refused to join NATO ...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A collection of multinational and multilingual and multicultural armed forces, all of differing capabilities, working toward a common goal by pulling in different directions... efforts against Russia and instead signed a major economic deal with Moscow. Khan himself had furiously responded to US attempts to influence Pakistain’s foreign policy, condemning Washington and the West for trying to treat Paks as their slaves.

It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... A security source confirmed that the earth-shattering kaboom took place in the al-Faza area of al-Tuhita district.
The same source pointed out that the area is still contaminated by large numbers of mines and cluster bombs.

[BBC] Russia has warned Finland and Sweden against joining NATO ...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A single organization with differing goals, equipment, language, doctrine, and structure.... , arguing the move would not bring stability to Europe.
Kremlin front man Dmitry Peskov told news hounds that "the alliance remains a tool geared towards confrontation".
It comes as US defence officials said Moscow's invasion of Ukraine has been a "massive strategic blunder" which is likely to bring NATO enlargement.
US officials expect the Nordic neighbours to bid for membership of the alliance, potentially as early as June.
Washington is believed to support the move which would see the Western alliance grow to 32 members. US State Department officials said last week that discussions had taken place between NATO leaders and foreign ministers from Helsinki and Stockholm.
Before it launched its invasion, Russia demanded that the alliance agree to halt any future enlargement, but the war has led to the deployment of more NATO troops on its eastern flank and a rise in public support for Swedish and Finnish membership.

Yes, say nothing, stand back and watch with a finger on your safety. Russia never misses an opportunity to re-open old wounds or alienate neighbors. Their MO has seldom changed.
[FOXBUSINESS] A radical environmental group raised a few eyebrows on Twitter after encouraging people to let the tires out of SUVs in an apparent bid to combat climate change.
The group, Adbusters,
...a Vancouver, British Columbia-based global network of anti-capitalist activists founded in 1989. Naturally, Jew-hating and Israel-hating are integral to their message. One of their big projects was Occupy Wall Street, making them yet another Black Bloc front of the century-old Antifa — the Stalinist-anarcho-communist syndicate that got its start brawling with Nazi Brownshirts in the streets of Germany...
tweeted step-by-step instructions for the provocation on Wednesday, calling it a "gentle escalation" or ramping up the urgency about climate change.
"Wedge gravel in the tire valves, leaflet the SUV to let them know the tires are flat and why it was done, and walk away. It’s that simple," the group tweeted. "If we organize, we can hit enough SUVs in particular neighborhoods to spark reporting and spread the metameme."
The group said climate change was the "biggest crisis we’ve faced as a species, and we are failing the test at every step," adding: "it’s time for us to carefully escalate our methods in a non-violent mostly peaceful manner to convey the seriousness of this crisis in tangible ways."
They argued that targeting SUVs — which they said were playing a big role in carbon emissions — was a good way to "hurt the automotive industry where it hurts."

Environmental group calls for getting shot deflating tires of SUVs to combat climate change while attempting to mess with people's SUVs.
Getting shot and dying will end their contribution to the carbon scam.

In what state is deadly force authorized to deal with someone messing with your tires? Jesus what's wrong with you people and your constant fantasies of killing?
Call the freaking cops and turn over the footage from your surveillance cameras.
Of course nobody bothers to call out the real villains of the story: those who publicize it. The whole point of this is to get visibility and inspire copycats. Which not only Fox has done, but whoever posted this here. Good job, everyone is doing Adbusters' work for it!

but whoever posted this here. Good job, everyone is doing Adbusters' work for it!
No worries. If any Rantburgers were prone to joining Black Bloc LARPing, they would have been arrested at some of the Antifa/Black Lives Matter actions posted here over the past few years, and their name and police photo would have shown up in our pages in turn.

#2 In what state is deadly force authorized to deal with someone messing with your tires?
Texas.
Now I'm not saying I would it do that, cause I wouldn't. But believe me when I say that there are many of my neighbors who will happily light someone up for messing with their stuff, on their property after dark. Funnily enough, quite a few of them were not born in the US, but now that they are citizens and living in Texas, they have gone FULL Texan.
SUBCHAPTER D. PROTECTION OF PROPERTY
Sec. 9.41. PROTECTION OF ONE'S OWN PROPERTY. (a) A person in lawful possession of land or tangible, movable property is justified in using force against another when and to the degree the actor reasonably believes the force is immediately necessary to prevent or terminate the other's trespass on the land or unlawful interference with the property.
(b) A person unlawfully dispossessed of land or tangible, movable property by another is justified in using force against the other when and to the degree the actor reasonably believes the force is immediately necessary to reenter the land or recover the property if the actor uses the force immediately or in fresh pursuit after the dispossession and:
(1) the actor reasonably believes the other had no claim of right when he dispossessed the actor; or
(2) the other accomplished the dispossession by using force, threat, or fraud against the actor.
Acts 1973, 63rd Leg., p. 883, ch. 399, Sec. 1, eff. Jan. 1, 1974. Amended by Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 900, Sec. 1.01, eff. Sept. 1, 1994.
Sec. 9.42. DEADLY FORCE TO PROTECT PROPERTY. A person is justified in using deadly force against another to protect land or tangible, movable property:
(1) if he would be justified in using force against the other under Section 9.41; and
(2) when and to the degree he reasonably believes the deadly force is immediately necessary:
(A) to prevent the other's imminent commission of arson, burglary, robbery, aggravated robbery, theft during the nighttime, or criminal mischief during the nighttime; or
(B) to prevent the other who is fleeing immediately after committing burglary, robbery, aggravated robbery, or theft during the nighttime from escaping with the property; and
(3) he reasonably believes that:
(A) the land or property cannot be protected or recovered by any other means; or
(B) the use of force other than deadly force to protect or recover the land or property would expose the actor or another to a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury.

Good morning Skid! I get to go home and go to sleep in 15 minutes....well, after driving for an hour. TWO more nights and I have two weeks off and next hitch is daytime:)
Bought the boy a simple recurve so he can start learning archery. He'll get a kick out of that.

And #2, I am COMPLETELY SERIOUS about this. People can and DO get shot for crap like that in this state. It almost never goes to trial either. Daytime is one thing, after dark in Texas, a lot of crime suddenly has a very real death penalty if you get caught in the act.
Admittedly, there are many people like me that would call the cops and have them facedown on the pavement while we wait for the law. I'm not going to shoot someone for something like that. Break in my house though and it's a different ball game. That brings in a potential threat to my family.

It falls under criminal mischief. It's the same as vandalizing a car.
(A) to prevent the other's imminent commission of arson, burglary, robbery, aggravated robbery, theft during the nighttime, or criminal mischief during the nighttime; or
Who didn't read what now? And we give them no publicity, some fool gets shot in Texas because they did something illegal at night doesn't make the national news. It barely makes the local news sometimes.

Someone doesn't understand the 'right to trial by a jury of one's peers'. DA's with common sense don't waste resources on trials they know they're going to lose.

My wife called the cops once for suspecting someone was in the back yard. We lived in Harris County so after 45 minutes a single deputy shows up. Nobody there when he checked so he asked the wife, "Do you have protection?" She said, "Yes we have an alarm." He shook his head and said "A firearm." She nodded and said, "Yes, we have plenty." He smiled and said, "Well, just call us for cleanup." That is a direct quotation. Harris County is the democrat bastion in Houston but even the cops realize reality here in Texas.

The UK has warned Vladimir Putin "all options are on the table" if Russia is found to have used chemical weapons in Ukraine.
Defence minister James Heappey also appeared to refuse to rule out "direct Nato involvement" in the conflict, a move that would represent a significant escalation in tensions between Russia and the West.
On Monday, Ukrainian officials said they were checking unverified reports that Russia had used chemical weapons - possibly phosphorous munitions - in the southern port city of Mariupol, causing soldiers and civilians to show signs of respiratory illnesses.
“Russian occupation forces used a poisonous substance of unknown origin against Ukrainian military and civilians in the city of Mariupol, which was dropped from an enemy [unmanned aerial vehicle],” the Azoz Regiment, a unit of the National Guard of Ukraine, said in a post on Telegram.
“The victims have respiratory failure, vestibulo-atactic syndrome.”
Speaking to BBC Radio 4’s Today programme, armed forces minister James Heappey said: “I think it’s important that everybody is clear that the reports overnight haven’t been verified.

A Pak was among two murderous Moslems killed while two copperswere maimed in an ongoing shootout with security forces in Khurbatpora area of south Kashmir ...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there.... 's Kulgam district on Monday police said.As per IGP Kashmir, Vijay Kumar, the slain Pak bad boy with code name Chacha has been killed along with a "hybrid" bad boy in the shootout while the two injured cops are being evacuated to the hospital..
The encounter broke out this evening after security forces cordoned the area following a tip off about the presence of murderous Moslems there.

A Special NIA Court on Monday said that it will frame formal charges against Kashmiri separatist leader Yasin Malik ...chairman of one of the two factions of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front. JKLF is a Kashmiri nationalist organization founded in Birmingham, UK in 1977. Branches weren't actually established in Kashmir for another ten years. It has the usual demands for separation of J&K from secular India so it can become an independent Islamic rathole. It seems to have no interest in Pak Kashmir breaking away to join it. In 1994 Malik renounced violence after he was released from jail and from that point he and his organization pursued peaceful means to impose their will on the region... and others on April 18 in connection with a terror funding case.
I s’pose funding terrorists is peaceful in the sense that Mr. Malik himself is not raising his hand against others...
On the last date of hearing on March 19, the court had ordered framing of charges against Lashkar-e-Taiba ...the Army of the Pure, an Ahl-e-Hadith terror organization founded by Hafiz Saeed. LeT masquerades behind the Jamaat-ud-Dawa facade within Pakistain and periodically blows things up and kills people in India. Despite the fact that it is banned, always an interesting concept in Pakistain, the organization remains an blatant tool and perhaps an arm of the ISI... (LeT) founder Hafiz Saeed ...founder of Lashkar-e-Taiba and its false-mustache offshoot Jamaat-ud-Dawa. The United Nations declared the JuD a terrorist organization in 2008 and Hafiz Saeed a terrorist as its leader. Hafiz, JuD and LeT are wholly-owned subsidiaries of the Pak intel apparatus, so that amounted to squat. He is periodically placed under house arrest so it looks like the govt is doing something. Once the heat is off they let him go.... , Hizbul Mujahideen ...Party of Holy Warriors, founded by Muhammad Ahsan Dar in September 1989. One of the Pak sock puppets waging jihad in Indian Kashmir. It was originally organized as the armed wing of Jamaat-e-Islami. In 1990, Dar declared Hizbul as the sword arm of Jamaat. Hizbul murdered many of the pro-independence intelligentsia in Kashmir. After the organization was taken over by Syed Salahuddin Dar and several other ex-Hizb leaders were assassinated between 2001 and 2003... chief Syed Salahuddin ...the aging, morbidly obese chief of Hizbul Mujaheddin and the titular head of the United Jihad Council in idyllic Kashmire. Originally owned body and theoretical soul by Jamaat-e-Islami he and his organization are currently controlled by Pakistain's ISI. Salahuddin's hobbies include crocheting doilies shaped like the Taj Mahal, combing his enormous beard, and eating.... and others for hatching criminal conspiracy, waging war against the country and other unlawful activities.
Kashmiri separatist leaders, including Yasin Malik, Shabbir Shah, Masarat Alam, former MLA Rashid Engineer, businessman Zahoor Ahmad Shah Watali, Bitta Karate, Aftab Ahmad Shah, Avatar Ahmad Shah, Naeem Khan, Bashir Ahmed Bhat, alias Peer Saifullah and several others have also been framed under charges for criminal conspiracy, waging war against the country and other unlawful activities.
In the order dated March 16, the NIA special Judge Praveen Singh had said: "The above analysis reflects that the statements of witnesses and documentary evidence have connected almost all the accused with each other and to a common object of secession, to the commonality of means they were to use, their close association to terrorist/terrorist organizations under the guiding hand and funding of Pak establishment."
Notably, the court has discharged three, namely Kamran Yusuf, Javed Ahmad Bhatt and Syedah Aasiya Firdous Andrabi.
The case related to the various terrorist outfits Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Hizbul-Mujahideen (HM), Jammu and Kashmir ...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. Liberation Front (JKLF) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) backed by Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... were perpetrating terrorist and secessionist activities to disturb Jammu and Kashmir.
[SPECTATOR.ORG] It is now impossible to ignore our president’s cognitive decline. Public opinion polls indicate that most voters doubt his mental capacity to carry out his duties, and his public effusions confirm the accuracy of that assessment. Since his bizarre State of the Union address, Biden’s utterances have become less and less lucid and his few coherent statements are terrifying. He has called for regime change in a country with a huge nuclear arsenal and denounced its president as a war criminal. Yet the corporate media are generally sanguine about Biden’s verbal incontinence. Indeed, they have applauded it.
So, what would frighten the Fourth Estate? Elon Musk on Twitter’s board of directors.
Musk was invited to join the Twitter board after he bought a 9.2 percent stake in the company, making him its largest shareholder. He was initially welcomed by co-founder Jack Dorsey and CEO Parag Agrawal, but this did not allay media fears. At NBC’s "Think," Kara Alaimo fretted, "As we head into another election cycle and are still dealing with Covid, his record of spreading misinformation on the social media platform is worrisome." At the Washington Post, Ellen K. Pao revealed the actual issue in a column titled, "Elon Musk’s vision of ’free speech’ will be bad for Twitter." Take note that she invariably encloses free speech in scare quotes. "Spreading dis and misinformation is OUR job!" She huffed.

Note: By declining a Board of Director's seat.
He can purchase more Twitter Stock than the 14?% cap I have heard was for Board members.
Currently, he has declared 9.2%.
As it stands today, if he were on the board he could be overruled by the other 2 big shareholders on any motion. Twitter got to be where it is at by the allowances of the existing Twitter Board member's directions.
Commentary by Russian military blogger Andrey Chervonets
The Azov militants reported that they dropped bombs with a chemical substance on Mariupol, which, in terms of symptoms, is similar to Zarin.
Azov almost won, but then the cunning Russians, out of desperation, "used" chemical weapons. Chronology
A) Eduard Basurin, who was not previously one of the great minds of our time, blurted out something about using the chemical troops to smoke out the inmates of the Azovstal cellars. One of the tasks of the chemical troops, in addition to protection against chemical, radiation and biological hazards, is "inflicting losses on the enemy using incendiary weapons. I remind you that the famous "Sun" is also a chemical troops.
B) For some reason, RIA Novosti put this in the news feed.
C) On the basis of this foolishness, the Nazis from the Azovstal catacombs made an absurd and unsubstantiated Internet stuffing about a poisonous substance from a drone.
D) Khodorkovsky and his gay company immediately began to disperse this game. Twitter is now in uniform chemical attack. From the abundance of hysterics, you can really suffocate. You read and go nuts, what stubborn and crazy personalities are now fighting in fits there.
Back in 2017, Russia completely destroyed all of its stockpiles of chemical weapons, including sarin. This was confirmed by Hamid Ali Rao, Deputy Director General of the Technical Secretariat of the International Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.

What about all those cheap Chinese flat tires? They seemed to move from the north to east ok.
Commentary by Russian military blogger Andrey Chervonets
April 11, 19:01
American Version
According to the Pentagon, Russia has 55 battalion tactical groups in the south, almost all of them deployed to Ukraine. There are 20 BTGs in the north, of which about half are in Ukraine. Two BTGs have recently appeared north of Luhansk and east of Kharkov. Follow the links to see the main map and others.
According to the speaker of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Oleksandr Motuzyanyk, the Russian army is completing preparations for the transition to new active actions, building up the control system and logistics in the Izyum and Donetsk directions.
The main goals, according to the speaker of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the RF Armed Forces at this stage are as follows:
- Preparation for the defeat of the group participating in the operation of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donbass;
- Establishing full control over the Donetsk and Lugansk regions;
- Ensuring a sustainable land corridor with Crimea.
P.S:
According to Ukrainian sources, Mi-6s have provided Zelensky's office with new data on the second phase of Russia's military campaign in Ukraine. Now the Kremlin is not going to stop at the recognition of the LDNR and Crimea, but they want to occupy the entire left-bank Ukraine. For this, Russia is preparing a big cauldron for Ukrainian troops in the Donbass.
The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have created a large strike force of about 90,000 people, which is constantly growing, with military equipment now all the roads in the second echelon - in the Voronezh region are clogged. The Armed Forces of Ukraine also collects all reserves. To counteract the Ukrainian side, a grouping was formed in the Dnepropetrovsk region, numbering about 80,000 people.
The group created by the Armed Forces of Ukraine has many mobilized, but it has a lot of modern weapons that are supplied to Ukraine by the West. The contour of the encirclement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donbass is expected along the border of the Dnipropetrovsk region - 40-50 km east of Pavlograd. This will allow the Russian army to quickly surround the group in the Donbass and methodically clean it up, as was already done with ISIS in Syria.
The strengths of the Russian Federation now are: air superiority, motivated units of the L/DPR, strategic initiative, the ability to continuously launch missile strikes.
The downside for the Armed Forces of Ukraine is that there are 170-180 km between Kramatorsk and the nearest large city of Pavlograd, and only small towns remain between them, which will not become a big obstacle for the Russian army. This will not allow the Ukrainian side to use its traditional tactics - to use artillery behind the civilian population of large cities, as the Armed Forces of Ukraine used to do in the vicinity of Kyiv, Kharkov and Nikolaev.
The beginning of the active phase can be expected after the active phase of cleaning up the city from the remnants of Ukrainian units in Mariupol, some of which, in all likelihood, will simply be docked at Azovstal.

[Bee] Justice Clarence Thomas walked out to get his mail this morning and found a surprise in his mailbox. According to sources, he was lucky enough to receive an invitation to celebrate Kentanji Brown Jackson’s confirmation as the nation’s first black Supreme Court Justice.
"Yippee! I feel so honored to have been invited to such a historic celebration!" said the longtime originalist justice appointed by George H.W. Bush. "Wow—the first black Supreme Court Justice. Who would have thought I'd see such a day?"
Justice Thomas then dropped the rest of the mail and jumped up and down while clutching the RSVP made of pink, lacy stationery.
Several critics have opposed Thomas's invitation to KBJ's barrier-breaking confirmation party. "This day is a victory for black people, not white people like Clarence Thomas," said Betina McSwan, an activist for the group Demand Justice. "He opposed reparations and affirmative action just because it violates the Constitution. Then he voted for Trump, so he ain't black!"
Others were confused by the invitation, saying that Thurgood Marshall deserves to be honored as the first black Supreme Court Justice due to his being the first black Supreme Court Justice.
"That's ridiculous," said McSwan. "Blackness isn't skin color, but is more of an idea, like Antifa, gender, and the Constitution."
At publishing time, Thomas decided not to attend after finding he was only invited so the January 6 committee could bug his house.

[An Nahar] A London jury on Monday unanimously found Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... follower Ali Harbi Ali
...Somali-Brit university drop-out and son of a former Somali high government official. After going through the government Islamic radicalization prevention program Prevent at the age of 18, followed by the more intensive Channel counter-terrorism program, he decided to murder a British politician in the name of ISIS, then settled on Sir David...
guilty of murdering UK politician David Amess in a ferocious knife attack in October last year.
Good.
"It cannot have been easy to listen to the evidence you have listened to," judge Nigel Sweeney told jurors, saying he would sentence Ali, 26, on Wednesday.
Ali had told the trial that he had no regrets about murdering father-of-five Amess after he voted in parliament for air strikes in Syria in 2014.
The court at London's Old Bailey heard that Ali stabbed Amess more than 20 times with a foot-long carving knife in Leigh-on-Sea, southeast England.
Members of Amess's family were in court as the verdict was read out, during which Ali refused to stand on religious grounds.
Ali, from north London, arranged an appointment with Amess, 69, by telling the politician's office that he was a healthcare worker and wished to talk about local issues.
Knife-wielding Ali was apprehended at the scene of the murder in a church by two coppers armed only with batons and spray.
He had sent a manifesto to family and friends to try to justify his actions around the time of the attack.
[NYPOST] Angellyh Yambo had just turned 16 when she got caught in gangsta crossfire outside a Bronx high school, torn from this world far too soon. Yet her accused killer, Jeremiah Ryan, might have escaped jail pending trial under New York’s insane laws, merely because he himself is a teen.
This is justice according to Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie and his all-too-many allies in the Legislature.
Ryan even had a perfect score to qualify for release, according the city Criminal Justice Agency, because he has no priors. Happily, Judge Vidya Pappachan agreed to hold Ryan, 17, without bail, explaining: "Based on the charges that are before this court," he did "not believe that any monetary bail will be appropriate as the least restrictive condition to ensure the defendant’s return to court."
Even then, Pappachan said he’d have to reconsider bail after the discovery phase, where prosecutors must share all the evidence with defense within a couple of weeks.
[FoxNews] The official was engaged in a scheme to steal proprietary software from the US government.
A former branch chief with the Department of Homeland Security has been convicted of theft of government property and conspiracy to defraud the United States.
Murali Y. Venkata,
...more formally Murali Yamuzala Venkata, an interesting name...
a 56-year-old former Acting Inspector General of DHS-OIG, was convicted of the charges in addition to convictions for wire fraud, aggravated identity theft and obstruction, according a Monday Justice Department announcement.
The DOJ said that Venkata, along with Charles K. Edwards and Sonal Patel, was engaged in a scheme to steal proprietary software from the U.S. government and the personal information of hundreds of thousands of federal employees.
"Edwards pleaded guilty in January 2022 and Patel pleaded guilty in April 2019 to stealing property from the U.S. government for the purpose of developing a commercial version of a case management system to be offered for sale to government agencies," the DoJ release said.
Venkata's role in the scheme was to ex-filtrate the proprietary source code from DHS facilities and help set up computer servers in Edwards' home that were remotely accessed by developers in India who were tasked with making the commercial version of the software.
Venkata worked at DHS from June 2010 until October 2017, when he was placed on paid administrative leave following charges in the case. He was also an employee of the U.S. Postal Service's Office of the Inspector General, another role in which he had access to sensitive information about federal employees and proprietary software systems.
[REDSTATE] Yesterday, a ’freelance journalist’ with the epic porn name of Thor Benson, and a Twitter bio of "Writer. Featured in @TheDailyBeast, @TheAtlantic, @RollingStone, @NBCNews, @businessinsider and elsewhere. I write about politics, tech and science," tried to up his street cred with the most stupid and goonish members of society.
First off, the real garbage person in this scenario is Benson. Any person who would walk up to a private citizen in a restaurant and berate them over their politics just to get a few "likes" on Twitter has given up the right to any claim of manhood, maturity, or common sense...and they’ve given up the right to complain if they get their ass kicked.
But then, we had the most outrageous plot twist available.
.@thedailybeast tech & science contributor Thor Benson claimed he confronted me at a New Orleans bar & made me so uncomfortable that I left. It never happened—he racially profiled & harassed another Asian man. #StopAsianHate cc: @TracyConnorhttps://t.co/FYqrRGDMl0
