Best and quickest way to shutdown opposing opinions on an issue. Simply conduct a parade of kooks opposing what your selling or want.

Our family decided to wait for a more real long term data, before under taking the rapidly developed C-19 mRNA Vax.

Because the proof in any NEW Medical solution is the overall LONG TERM effects.

EG. Morphine for Teething babies, Mercury for Syphilis, Radium Water, Fen-Phen foe weight loss, Heroin—The Cure for a Cough, smallpox vaccine is deadly,GcMAF has been promoted as a cure for cancer,HIV, autism and other conditions.

Studies of medical errors have estimated errors may account for as many as 251,000 deaths annually in the United States (U.S)., making medical errors the third leading cause of death.

Eg. VACCINE MISTAKES:
Cutter incident 1955 Polio Vax was actually live Polio virus.

Swine Flu VAX - "flu epidemic that never was." That vaccination campaign was later linked to cases of a neurological disorder called Guillain-Barre syndrome.

Even CNN did hit piece about the C-19 VAX when it was Trumps baby. back on September 1, 2020... but supports it??

My point is simple.

There is a reason....
THEY CALL IT PRACTICING MEDICINE.

They still learn everyday from passed mistakes.

Allahpundit, pushing this.

This is My 2nd Grade Book of Magic trash.
Adult version: Bandage or tape, magnet, make-up, fork.

Or you can do it like we did back in grade school: plastic fork, chrome spray paint, rubber cement.

Fuggin seriously - if they were magnetic all the time, not just when the camera is on, they'd have air particulates attaching all over themselves, including into their eyes and ears. Metal door handles, belt buckles, opening the damn fridge, paper clip problems, shit just obvious. Look around you right now and note all the things you would have a problem with if you were magnetic enough to keep something weighty like a fork stuck to a moist surface like skin.

"It's just like Vietnam, it's just like Beirut": Minneapolis tries and fails to reopen George Floyd Square ... again
[HotAir] Maybe the third time will be the charm — but it might require the city of Minneapolis to enforce a reopening of George Floyd Square. For the second time in five days, city workers removed barriers yesterday to reopen the intersection at 38th Street and Chicago Avenue, where Floyd died in custody just over a year ago. And for the second time in five days, activists blocked traffic again hours later without any opposition from authorities:

City crews returned early Tuesday to a Minneapolis intersection where a memorial to George Floyd was assembled after his death last year and worked to reopen it to traffic by removing debris and makeshift barriers, only to have activists barricade the area again.

Workers using front-end loaders and brooms arrived just before 5 a.m. and cleared the intersection where Floyd was killed, which is informally known as George Floyd Square, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported.

The intersection has been closed to traffic since Floyd’s death on May 25, 2020, and some residents and businesses have expressed frustration that it has been closed for so long.

Last Thursday, city crews removed concrete barriers that blocked traffic at 38th Street and Chicago Avenue, but community activists quickly put up makeshift barriers and resumed chanting the name of the Black man whose killing galvanized the racial justice movement.

As soon as workers left the area on Tuesday, activists moved back in, again blocking traffic with parked cars, trash cans, traffic signs and other items in a repeat of last Thursday’s scene.

“That apparently didn’t last very long,” the local Fox affiliate quipped. Residents are getting fed up over the city’s pusillanimity as well. One vocal opponent of the so-called “autonomous zone” told KMSP that it’s like living in a war zone:

3 Jaffa residents arrested on suspicion of attempted murder of 12-year-old
[JPost] - Police arrested three Jaffa residents last month on suspicion of attempted murder and arson with a nationalist motive after allegedly throwing Molotov cocktails at Jewish residences in the Ajami neighborhood and mistakenly hitting the Gintazi residence, seriously injuring 12-year-old Muhammad and lightly injuring his 10-year-old sister, the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court reported after a request by Walla News.

...The investigation reportedly revealed that the suspects were equipped with a large number of Molotov cocktails and began throwing them at windows and courtyards of houses on the neighborhood.

A search of the suspects' residences turned up a submachine gun and multiple pistols. Police said they had investigated allegations of a real estate dispute between the suspects' family and the Gintazi family and found that there was no connection between the two.

Regarding the nationalist background of the acts, the police reportedly found photos and phone messages of a nationalist nature on the phones of the suspects.

The DNA of one of the brothers was found on bottles in two locations who Molotov cocktails were thrown that evening, including the Gintazi residence. In his investigation, he claimed others may have taken an old beer bottle of his, or perhaps stolen a piece of clothing from his laundry line.

...The second brother was reportedly hospitalized for three days after the interrogation, with the hospital reporting that bruises were found on his body, Haaretz reported.
He fell down the stairs.

UNRWA accidently gives $ to a struggling synagogue in Jerusalem - satire

June 9; A congregation that had struggled to meet its fundraising target toward a new facility now finds itself with an excess of money after repackaging its appeal as a plea to "help a house of worship with construction after Israel's devastating bombardment in Gaza," an ambiguous phrase that international organizations simply assumed referred to a bombed-out mosque in Gaza and sent generous amounts with characteristic lack of oversight.

UNESCO, UNRWA, and three international aid organizations cut checks totaling more than $30M to Kol Rina that will allow the synagogue to construct an opulent new building with a large main sanctuary, a catering hall with kitchen, a library, a beit midrash (study hall), several classrooms, office space, and playrooms for childcare during services.

Chuck DeVore: Biden's border crisis – Texas may have to defend itself. Here's why
[FoxNews] Biden is restraining U.S. Border Patrol and immigration officers from doing their jobs.

The world wants to come to America and many in America – at least in the Biden administration and the Chamber of Commerce – want the world to come.

Nowhere is this more apparent than on the Texas-Mexico border, where the surge of would-be immigrants has completely overwhelmed the Border Patrol and local law enforcement. If current trends continue, more than 3 million people may stream into the U.S. by year-end, threatening Americans with lost jobs and crime.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott plans to visit the border city of Del Rio on Thursday to discuss the border crisis and to announce new measures to safeguard Texans after issuing a disaster declaration on June 1. With the Biden administration abdicating its responsibility to protect the border, it may be up to Texas to step up and protect its own people and property.

TUCKER CARLSON: KAMALA HARRIS' PLAN FOR THE BORDER CRISIS IS BRIBERY

I just finished a three-day fact-finding trip as part of a team sponsored by the Border Security Coalition. We heard from elected officials, law enforcement, active and retired Border Patrol officers, and local citizens in Val Verde County, population 50,000, situated 160 miles west of San Antonio at about the midpoint on the Texas-Mexico border between El Paso and the Gulf of Mexico.

Officials and locals say that Val Verde used to be a quiet part of the U.S.-Mexico border. Now Border Patrol intelligence analysts estimate that the Mexican crime cartels are banking $25 million per week from human trafficking alone in the Val Verde region. About a year ago, the cartels generated about $11 million per week. Given the collapse of border enforcement, prices to guide people illegally crossing the border have likely gone down due to the reduced risk to the cartels’ coyotes.

CLICK HERE TO GET THE OPINION NEWSLETTER

Local experts on the border situation say that the surge in crossings happened immediately upon President Biden’s taking office. Would-be immigrants told Border Patrol agents that Biden said he would be nice and let them in – they are merely taking the president at his word.

Many of the people crossing into the Texas town of Del Rio appear to have access to money. They claim to be doctors, engineers and other professionals from Venezuela, Haiti, Cuba and nations in Africa and the Middle East. But Venezuela, one of the world’s most corrupt countries, will issue a passport to anyone in only two days – for cash.

A volunteer at a Del Rio interfaith nonprofit that works closely with U.S. immigration authorities said that in a typical week last year, they processed about 20 immigrants per week, showing them how to purchase bus or plane tickets to move them away from the border and into the interior. In the week ending June 5, they expected to exceed 2,000 people, a hundred-fold increase.

In past years, Border Patrol agents would try to photograph, fingerprint and occasionally take a DNA sample to verify people claiming to be family units. Border Patrol would then issue a "Notice to Appear" to the migrant, ordering them to appear before an immigration judge at a certain date. In 2017, 43% of aliens with a court date failed to appear.

But because the Biden administration had no plan to replace the Trump administration’s policies, the tide of aliens has overwhelmed the entire immigration system. Now aliens who present themselves at places other than official border crossings are issued a "Notice to Report" by immigration officials and quickly moved away from the border, frequently with a lower level of ID checks.

A "Notice to Report" asks illegal aliens to report to a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement office when they get to their destination in the interior. These notices to report have never been used before and, according to former immigration officials, may themselves be illegal, having no basis in U.S. law.

-War on Police-
Jason Rantz: 5 reasons why Seattle police are ditching the city
[FoxNews] Cop bashing has become a sport in Seattle -- literally and figuratively. Police face physical assaults from Antifa thugs and other radicals. And the City Council continues its defunding efforts, even as the city reached a 26-year high homicide rate.

It’s precisely why a historic number of police officers have left the Seattle Police Department, with scores more on their way out.

Since 2020, I have exclusively reported that at least 270 officers have separated from the force. That’s almost one-third of the department. Some resigned, others retired, and many have made lateral moves to agencies more supportive of police. There are at least 100 more officers "unavailable," according to an internal HR document. Many are burning their accrued sick and vacation time before leaving the department for good.

Consequently, Seattle is in the middle of a staffing crisis that’s leaving citizens vulnerable. The department has the lowest deployable staff since the 1980s with, at times, precincts at or below staffing minimums. It’s been a long-time coming: the crisis pre-dated the Left’s war on cops that defined 2020. Seattle got a head start, constantly pushing back against police.

So why are cops finally ditching the department in such huge numbers? Here are the top five reasons.

Islamic State jihadists abduct 5 Egyptians in northern Sinai
[IsraelTimes] At least five Egyptians are kidnapped by Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
jihadists in the restive northern part of the Sinai Peninsula, security officials say.

The five were driving to their workplace in the small town of Bir al-Abed when the jihadists from the Islamic State group stopped their vehicle and took them to an unknown place.

The five include three engineers, a laborer and their driver, say the officials. They all work at the el-Salam canal project that moves the Nile Delta drainage water to be reused in agriculture in the peninsula.

There is no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack. The two security officials speak on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to the media.

#5  Do the Brits have Wood Chippers?

They have excellent paper shredders, Mullah Richard. Into which they jokingly put the reams of information we sent Vauxhall Cross [and still do]. About the grooming, prostitution and p○rn industry Paki immigrants were arriving to build in the UK, aided by their plants in local councils and in social services.

This whole thing began in 2001, when a Paki taxi driver raped a christian girl, followed by cheers from the community; and then a special sermon from a two-bit Pakistani cleric [I forget his name] in London, trickling down to individual mosques all over. Then came the post 9/11 madness, and there was some justification given that it was war with the kaffir, and that stripping and parading the enemies' women, taking them for sport was all part of war. They started with kidnaps and date rapes, which they filmed and sent to Pakistan. By 2006, they had a sizeable operation, with several protectors like the Islamic Society, Young Muslims UK, Islam4UK etc.

We had intercepts between them and their cousins and religious teachers here in India, in Bangladesh, inviting them, boasting of choice kaffir varieties available and open season all year round with no law, no civil defenders, nothing to worry about [the language would make you throw up]. Some in India, who tried to leave for Britain for the rape-tours were caught and passports destroyed, their applications obstructed. Pakistan sent theirs proudly, the UK bureaucracy paving their way with permits, admissions and licenses and lenient checks on their pasts.

This is not some 'old boys get together' kind of shanty and camera operation. The price of a single video of a white girl being violated by moslem colonists is even today in the tens of pounds, down from the hundred to two hundred pounds it used to be some years ago. That metric alone tells you how fast they got the supply tapped [no pun, seriously].

At first there were more Sikh, Hindu children of other immigrants as victims. When it escaped prosecution altogether, they moved on to British children. There's now a whole menu of types, activities and positions they can be forced to do, and betting rings and bids and lucky draws. Muslim men join up on whatsapp and other apps [disguised as wedding parties and such] and bid on girls. Germany too has them, and I'm sure there will be some in the US. I will not share the printed material here, and it's mostly in urdu, but it's despicable literature, their rape club menus and manual. It's also still there on the darkWeb as 'FirdausHouse' and 'BYOBMarriageParty' and a couple of other names [they keep changing].

As for the Brits, we sent them names, numbers, addresses, past criminal records, entire histories drawn up painstakingly, complete dossiers of individuals we knew were talking to their friends in India, selling p○rn made from this enterprise. Yes, we are always interested in the disempowerment of Pakistanis in the west, and yes we were protecting our own in the UK, but this we did only in the service of innocent english communities we knew were being targeted. But those arrogant liberal legalist bastards are so in love with moslems and human equity, so dismissive of other agencies, they didn't listen. Some good ones kept raising the matter with their home office and still do. There are concerned citizens and groups there who have done more about this than two useless administrations and their fuck-all judiciary. It was only with Boris and his new cabinet that some semblance of action was expected. But whatever passes for it there is still not much. What this requires is not a legal solution. It requires societies to fight.

Our solution for it is a healthy nationalist right wing; legally protected mobs of fringe extremists cultivated just for the purpose of letting loose on muslims when they overstep their bounds. But sadly, this is too 'third world' an approach for the suicidally enlightened societies of the west. But let me tell you, it's what works with the islamists. And this is why I cheer for the kid who runs down Paki families, and raise my glass to the Christchurch Terminator. If you're still a god-cursed muslim, even after your fcuking religion encourages all this... rape, slavery, murder, indecency of every sort... none of you deserve to live.

Rant over.

[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • Bryce Michael Williams, 27, was sentenced to federal prison and ordered to pay $12million in restitution for burning a Minneapolis police building last May

  • Williams and three other men, Davon De-Andre Turner, 25, Branden Michael Wolfe, 23, and Dylan Shakespeare Robinson, were protesting George Floyd's murder when they lit and threw Molotov cocktails at a he police building

  • All four men were sentenced to federal prison

  • Judge Patrick Schlitz handed down Williams' sentence and called him a 'good person who made a terrible mistake', but denied Williams' request for probation because he said the defendant was a leader, 'not a follower', in the attack.

Judge orders Virginia gym teacher to be reinstated after he was suspended for refusing to allow biological boys to compete as girls because transgender policy went against his Christianity
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • Byron Tanner Cross, 38, was suspended from Leesburg Elementary in Loudoun County, Virginia, two weeks ago, after speaking at a school board meeting

  • He was arguing over two policies put in place by the public school board: one mandating teachers use the pronouns a transgender child identifies with

  • The other one would allow transgender kids to take part in sports with the gender they identify with

  • The second one also allows kids to use the locker room and bathroom of the gender they identify with

  • Cross had filed a restraining order and temporary injunction, demanding his job back and asking that his views not be censored again

  • Judge James E. Plowman ordered the school district to restore Cross' job

  • The temporary injunction is set to stay in place until December 31 unless any alterations are agreed to before then

  • If either side wants a trial, the judge says they must start that process by June 16

  • Plowman suggested that the school district would lose a case against Cross at trial, arguing that Cross' First Amendment rights were impacted adversely

WAPO: The Biden administration has no real plan to get the truth about COVID from China
[Hot Air] As Jazz pointed out yesterday, Sec. of State Blinken told Axios he was determined to uncover the truth about the origin of the coronavirus. He also echoed what appears to be an administration talking point about how uncovering the truth was in China’s best interest. But Aaron Blake has a piece at the Post which points out how hollow those assurances really are. In fact, no one in the Biden administration seems to have an answer for the next, obvious question: What do you do if China decides its interests are in covering up the truth? That’s the question that was put to Dr. Fauci last week.
Top government infectious-disease expert Anthony S. Fauci was pressed on this Thursday on MSNBC. When he said that "it’s obviously in China’s interests to find out exactly" how the virus came about, Willie Geist logically followed up with a counterpoint: Isn’t it also in their interest to conceal that information "if there was a lab leak — or worse?"

Fauci demurred.

"I don’t want to be speculating on that, because every time I say something like that, you know it as well as I, it will get completely taken out of context, and go into the Twitter world like crazy," Fauci said. "So, I mean, I’m going to leave that to other people and not surmise and guess who’s interest it is. It’s not helpful."
With that non-answer in mind, let’s circle back (as Jen Psaki might say) to Sec. Blinken’s answer about the importance of getting transparency from China. You really need to watch this clip to appreciate it. It’s only 2 minutes long. The first minute is spent with Blinken saying repeatedly how critical it is that we get this information from China. We "have to have" this information Blinken said. And then, like Fauci, he’s asked the obvious question: "So what’s the real pressure the US will put on China for access to the lab?" Sec. Blinken gives a great impersonation of a deer in headlights.

#2  Fauci gave money to a US organization, who gave it to the Wuhan lab for gain of function research. Because that research is illegal in America - but not in China! Obviously he doesn't want the truth out, nor does anyone in the US government.

Usually this would be a job for a crusading journalist, but since they've all betrayed us by going over to the government's side, all we've got is alternative media. And Big Tech can silence them at any time.

#7  My point about all of this really isn’t whether COVID came out of a lab or not. The reality is nobody, at least nobody here in the west, actually has enough information to say one way or the other. But the mainstream media has been saying one way, and not the other, without evidence, as if it were fact. They were doing so long before it was remotely possible to do so. That’s narrative, and that’s power of media. When you combine that with Big Tech lubricating the rails for pre-determined narratives and attenuating everything else, you have a near overwhelming combination for shaping beliefs on a mass scale. “Few understand this.”

Reopening Palestinian Missions Would Violate Law, Senators Say
[Free Beacon] The Biden administration's efforts to elevate diplomatic relations with the Palestinians violate the law and will undermine America's historic recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital city, according to a group of Republican senators.

In the weeks since Israel went to war with the Iranian-backed Hamas terror group, the Biden administration has taken steps to reopen the U.S. consulate general facility in Jerusalem that oversaw relations with the Palestinians. This mission was closed in 2019 after the Trump administration recognized Jerusalem as Israel's unified capital city, in accordance with U.S. law. The Biden administration also wants to reopen the mission of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) in Washington, D.C., which was shut down in 2018 amid efforts by the PLO to promote terrorism against Israel and block American efforts to foster peace in the region.

A group of 16 Republican senators led by Marco Rubio (R., Fla.) is warning the Biden administration against reopening both Palestinian missions, saying these policies are part of a quiet effort by the Biden administration to walk back the United States' decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's undivided capital, in a letter sent late Monday to the White House.

"We urge you to adhere to U.S. law and ensure both of these diplomatic missions remain closed," write the group of lawmakers, which also includes Sens. Bill Hagerty (R., Tenn.), Tom Cotton (R., Ark.), Chuck Grassley (R., Iowa), Tim Scott (R., S.C.), and Joni Ernst (R., Iowa), among others. "We oppose any efforts by your administration to provide rewards and incentives to the Palestinian leadership or Hamas for their abhorrent support of violence and terrorism."

The Strongest Perfume Cannot Cover the Stench of Kamala Harris' Incompetence
[RedState] I cannot fully express what an embarrassment Kamala Harris is: to women, to Black achievement, and to anyone who has worked hard in life to garner a reputation for excellence, integrity, and consistency. Harris is like a bad odor that everyone tries to pretend doesn’t exist, while everyone smiles through gritted teeth and fans the air.

As my colleague Nick Arama so aptly stated:
One of the reasons that Kamala Harris is such a horrible politician is that she can never give a straight answer.

She’s worse than even Joe Biden on this. Biden gets mad and incoherent but at least sometimes tries to answer a question.

But they both think that you have no right to even ask the questions. Harris doesn’t think you should be asking why she isn’t doing her job.

Harris also has that Hillary Clinton cackle thing going on whenever she’s asked something she doesn’t want to answer.
Even her cackle had to be borrowed from someone else. The mark of a poll-tested, manufactured entity is the absence of authenticity, and Harris is devoid of it.

However, the stench of her vacuity was overwhelming in an NBC interview with Lester Holt. Surprisingly, Holt did not allow Harris to dodge and cackle, but gently pressed his point.

Joe Biden warned as a court slaps down race-based COVID relief
[Washington Examiner] As President Joe Biden pursues initiatives he announced last week to "help narrow the racial wealth gap," he should heed a late-May reminder from the 6th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals that preferential treatment based on race is presumptively invalid.

This is as it should be. It is right and just that the courts, in the name of justice, should strike down racial preferences, a pernicious, do-gooding racism sweeping schools, corporations, and the media. It treats all American experience through the lens of race. It would be even worse if the racialism embedded in so-called "critical race theory" were backed by government force.

Biden is right to want all segments of society to prosper. If crafted without racial criteria, his initiatives to help jump-start poor and disadvantaged businesses and improve home values in struggling neighborhoods would be welcome. But the White House announcement focuses constantly on "racial disparities," and the clear implication is that its proposed solutions will involve racial preferences.

That’s where the 6th Circuit ruling comes in. In the 2-1 May 27 decision in Vitolo v. Guzman, the court held that the government may not award coronavirus relief money on the basis of race and sex.

The Small Business Administration had been doling out $29 billion in COVID response grants to restaurant owners under rules that allowed the money to go only to restaurants owned at least 51% by women or nonwhite proprietors. Writing for the court, Judge Amul Thapar explained that Supreme Court precedent (not to mention simple fairness) allows such preferences only to serve a "compelling" state interest, a term of art with three strict criteria. A mere vague desire to remedy past discrimination is insufficient to permit the government itself to favor or disfavor otherwise eligible citizens just because they are white.

BY LAW THE USA ALREADY HAS EQUAL TREATMENT & JUSTICE.

But Equality hampers the Socialists Democrats, who are seeking to plug the growing leaking holes in the minority voter block.

A voter block that as it chooses to leave the Poverty Plantation, is more and more turning away from the Socialist Democrats redesigned Plantation - Master concept.

Where the Big $$ is not in cotton, but votes (real or created).

Votes needed to control distribution of $$Trillions of Taxpayer funds. Which then allows for kick-backs Donations opportunities and skimming Handling Fee's of $$$ to back to them and/or their families pockets.

SDF denies activity against Turkey in northern Syria
[NPASYRIA] On Tuesday, Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) denied conducting any activity against Ottoman Turkish forces in the regions of Sere Kaniye (Ras al-Ain) and al-Bab, northern Syria.

Yesterday, the Ottoman Turkish Ministry of Defense said, members of the SDF opened fire on "Ottoman Turkish Commando Forces" and announced the "killing of six of them."

The SDF Media Office issued a statement regarding the news which it described as "fake" saying: "The Ottoman Turkish occupation Ministry of Defense published a fake news yesterday about our fighters’ targeting the regions of Sere Kaniye (Ras al-Ain) and al-Bab."

On May 23, the SDF Media Office denied launching any attacks on the Ottoman Turkish forces’ locations in northeast Syria.

Turkey establishes new military post in Syria's northwest
[NPASYRIA] On Tuesday, Ottoman Turkish forces established a new military post in Zawiya Mountain, south of Idlib, northwest Syria, which is subjected to a ceasefire agreement.

The Ottoman Turkish forces established the new post in the area between the towns of Ehsim and al-Bara near the frontlines with Syrian government forces, which are stationed in the city of Kafr Nubul, south of Idlib, according to a military source from Ottoman Turkish-backed gangs.

The Ottoman Turkish forces constructed berms on the outskirts of the new post, which they built on a high place, the source added.

This is the third post to be established in al-Bara, bringing the number of Ottoman Turkish posts in Zawiya Mountain to 18, which are scattered in villages near the frontlines with the government forces.

In addition, there are 65 Ottoman Turkish posts deployed in Idlib, Hama, Aleppo, and Latakia countryside, according to local military sources.

The establishment of this new Ottoman Turkish post coincided with the arrival of government military reinforcements to fight points amidst unprecedented escalation of mutual ground bombardment between the government forces and gangs.

On May 24, Ottoman Turkish forces established a military post in the village of Ziyadiyah in Jisr al-Shughur, west of Idlib.

Iraq
Repeated calls to expel Turkish forces from Iraq
[NPASYRIA] On Tuesday, the chairman of the Security and Defense Committee of the Iraqi Parliament, Muhammad Rida Al Haidar, considered the Ottoman Turkish attacks and the deployment of its bases in the north of the country as a "violation of Iraqi illusory sovereignty," calling for "putting an end to that."

On June 6, front man for the Iraqi Presidency, Khalid Shwani, called for the necessity to prevent violating Iraqi illusory sovereignty, and for Ottoman Turkish forces to withdraw from the areas of the Kurdistan Region and djinn-infested Mosul
... the home of a particularly ferocious and hairy djinn...
He considered it "a violation of the principle of good neighborliness, and a violation of international norms and covenants."

Today, a joint Iraqi parliamentary committee visited Duhok to follow up on the recent developments that claimed the lives of a number of Peshmerga members, about which there were different accounts, as well as to follow up on the issue of the Ottoman Turkish forces cutting trees in the border areas with The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund...
In a joint presser with the Governor of Duhok, Ali Tatar, Rida Al Haidar said, "the committee will visit multiple sites of the Peshmerga and the border forces to see the field conditions in the border areas."

Al Haidar referred to what he described as the "difficult conditions and dangerous developments" that the region witnessed during the past few days.

"The continuous abuses of the Ottoman Turkish forces, as well as their establishment of fixed military bases inside Iraqi territory, are not permitted," considering that as " an occupation," Al Haidar said.

He added that his country has the right to respond, including resorting to the United Nations
...an organization conceived in the belief that we're just one big happy world, with the sort of results you'd expect from such nonsense...
, calling at the same time to "resolve the problems between the PKK and Turkey, and spare the Iraqi government these problems."

He expressed his hope for cooperation through joint coordination committees between the federal forces and Peshmerga.

He stressed the need to strengthen the border guards forces located in Zakho area on the Ottoman Turkish border.

However,
a clean conscience makes a soft pillow...
Ottoman Turkish attacks are not limited to border areas only, as they occasionally launch air attacks on Makhmour Camp and Sinjar area, the last of which was on June 5.

A Ottoman Turkish drone bombed the vicinity of Makhmour Camp on June 5, media said it resulted in a number of casualties, while the camp administration did not issue an explanation in this regard.

Great White North
Canada to move against far-right groups after Muslim family attack
That was fast — we only had the report of the incident yesterday, when we speculated that this was simply a car accident resulting from reckless driving. Somebody had the plan queued up, waiting for an excuse to activate.
[AlAhram] In February, Canada designated the far-right Proud Boys group a terrorist entity, saying it posed an active security threat after the January assault on the U.S. Capitol in Washington

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Tuesday promised to take more action to dismantle far-right groups after a hate-motivated attack that killed four members of a Muslim family in the city of London, Ontario.
They’re immigrants from Pakistan who were regular worshippers at the local mosque in the city with the second largest Muslim population in Canada...
"This was a terrorist attack, motivated by hatred, in the heart of one of our communities," Trudeau said in the House of Commons after observing a moment of silence.

The family, killed on Sunday when a pickup truck jumped the curb and ran them over, were deliberately targeted because of their religion, Canadian police said.

"We'll continue to fight hate online and offline ... (including) taking more action to dismantle far-right hate groups, like we did with the Proud Boys by adding them to Canada's terror listing," said Trudeau, who is due to attend a vigil outside the London Muslim Mosque for the victims later on Tuesday.

Police in London arrested Nathaniel Veltman, 20, in a parking lot about three-tenths of a mile (500 meters) from the London Muslim Mosque. He was wearing a body-armor type of vest. Veltman, who is white, has been charged with four counts of first-degree murder. Authorities are reviewing the possibility of terrorism charges.

In a statement released late on Monday, the relatives of the victims said the accused attacker "was influenced by a group that he associated with," but did not identify the group or explain how they knew this information.

Veltman appears to have had little social media footprint. A spokesperson at the Canadian Anti-Hate Network, an organization that tracks hate groups, said that is unusual for a 20-year-old man.

"Someone poured poison into his ear," said the spokesperson, who asked not to be named. "We hope that further information will be shared to help determine and identify his online and media consumption."

The attack was the worst against Canadian Muslims since a man gunned down six members of a Quebec City mosque in 2017. London Mayor Ed Holder said it was the worst mass murder in his city's history. In September 2020, Mohammed Aslam Zafis, a Muslim man, was stabbed to death outside a Toronto mosque. Police charged a 34-year-old man with murder.

In February, Canada designated the far-right Proud Boys group a terrorist entity, saying it posed an active security threat after the January assault on the U.S. Capitol in Washington. Although the group has never mounted an attack in Canada, officials said domestic intelligence forces have become increasingly worried about it.

"Muslims wonder, how many more lives will it take, how many families will be mowed - mowed - down in the streets, how many more families will be killed before we do something?" opposition New Democratic Party leader Jagmeet Singh, the first person from an ethnic minority to lead a major Canadian political party, said in the House of Commons after Trudeau spoke.

An anti-Islam rally was held in London in 2017 that was organized, according to media reports, by a group called the Patriots of Canada Against the Islamization of the West (PEGIDA). Counter protesters greatly outnumbered the anti-Islam demonstrators at the event, according to media reports at the time.

In April, Canada's intelligence service said the COVID-19 pandemic threatened to increase national security risks.

"The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated xenophobic and anti-authority narratives, many of which may directly or indirectly impact national security considerations," the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) said it its most recent annual report.

Afghanistan
DABS: 23 Power Pylons Destroyed, Damaged in 1 Month
Pylon distribution is for high trust, First World societies. Afghanistan would be better off concentrating on very local production of power, like biogas from household waste.
[ToloNews] The country’s power distributor, Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS), on Tuesday said that 23 electricity pylons have been destroyed or damaged by explosions in just a month's time, raising concerns over the stability of the imported power as many areas now face power outages.

Three power pylons were damaged by explosions over the last day--two in Salang district, Parwan province, and one in Herat
...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns...
province, disrupting the imported power supply from Uzbekistan and Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
in the two provinces.

The damage to power pylons in Salang district disrupted the electricity supply to Kabul and seven other provinces. DABS said the power lines have been partially reconnected.

Parwan officials said the repair of the two pylons in Salang will take two days. One was damaged partially and the other destroyed.

"The explosion was powerful--it shook homes. Other explosions happened shortly after the first one. Up to five blasts happened," said Noor-ul-Haq, a resident of Salang.

Two pylons were damaged in the blasts. Four explosions targeted the first pylon while three occurred at the second. One bomb was defused by security forces, according to officials.

DABS employees said they had arrived at the Ahangaran village in Salang district early on Tuesday morning to repair the pylons, but it is taking time for them to reach the area due to difficult terrain.

"In Parwan, there are four pylons in Salang, four pylons in Jangal Bagh and one pylon in Rabat," said Rohullah Sajid, head of the energy and water department in Parwan.

The back-to-back attacks on power pylons have ratcheted up fear about the security of the national electricity supply system. DABS officials said security officials have not talked to them about the attack on the pylons.

"Overall, the pylons that have been destroyed or damaged are 25 in total," said Engineer Ahad, a DABS employee.

Other pylons have been either damaged or destroyed in Kalakan, Shakardara and Qara Bagh districts of Kabul. ISIS grabbed credit for destroying the towers.

"We arrested three suspects last night. Details will be shared later," said Mohammad Hamid Niazi, an army commander in Parwan.

Sources in the north accused some within the government of involvement in the attack on the pylons.

UN Report Cites New Info on Taliban-Al Qaeda Ties
[ToloNews] A new report by a UN monitoring team says that the Taliban
...Arabic for students...
and Al Qaeda "remain closely aligned and show no indication of breaking ties."

The UN report says that UN member states "report no material change to this relationship, which has grown deeper as a consequence of personal bonds of marriage and shared partnership in struggle, now cemented through second generational ties."

Long War Journal said that other findings by the UN are consistent with previous analyses prepared by the UN Security Council’s Analytical Support and Sanctions Monitoring Team, however, the most recent report cites new intelligence as well.

One claim noted by analysts is that Sirajuddin Haqqani
...son of Pashtun warlord Jalaluddin Haqqani, still titular head of the Haqqani Network....
, the deputy emir of the Taliban’s Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, is also a member of Al Qaeda’s leadership.

"If the terrorism threat rises once again in Afghanistan or if a threat emerges to US national security from Afghanistan, in that case we want to have forces in the region to respond--to defend US national security and show a reaction," US special envoy Zalmay Khalilzad said in an interview with TOLOnews on Monday.

One claim noted by analysts is that Sirajuddin Haqqani, the deputy emir of the Taliban’s Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, is also a member of Al Qaeda’s leadership.
This intelligence information was cited in a footnote, which states that in addition to being a Taliban leader, Sirajuddin Haqqani "is also assessed to be a member of the wider Al Qaeda leadership, but not of the Al Qaeda core leadership (the Hattin Shura)," the Long War Journal noted.

The UN report does not make it clear what position Sirajuddin is thought to hold within Al Qaeda’s "wider" leadership, said the Long War Journal.
Al Qaeda was said to have a classical corporate structure familiar to any MBA, which suggests Mr. Sirajuddin is the regional vice president for Afghanistan. He clearly is responsible for the Taliban and Al Qaeda, but what about all those other Al Qaeda linked groups — does he also hold the portfolios for the Chechens and Uighurs and such?
"Al Qaeda threats will not be the same as in 2001 for few years ahead," former interior minister Gen. Massoud Andarabi said.

The Taliban did not comment on TOLOnews' questions about the claims, but previously they have rejected reports by UN monitoring teams.

"I think a (shared) interest would be in ... war affairs, or Afghanistan affairs or in fighting foreigners. I don’t think (the two groups) are united with these," said former Taliban commander Akbar Agha.

In 2019, the Al Qaeda leader in a message mentioned Sirajuddin Haqqani and Hibatullah Akhundzada as "our leaders from the Islamic emirate of Afghanistan" and expressed gratitude for the selection of Haqqani as the deputy leader of the Taliban.

Center of Faryab’s Dawlat Abad District Falls to Taliban
[ToloNews] The center of Dawlat Abad district in the northern province of Faryab fell to the Taliban
...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
on Monday evening, a member of the provincial council, Abdul Ahad Elbek said on Tuesday.

Elbek said that a number of the security forces have evacuated the center of the district after heavy festivities with the Taliban, adding that "there are no news about some other security forces members in the area."

"The telecommunication services are not working and there are no reports of casualties on both sides," he said.

Local officials have not commented on the fall of the area to the Taliban.

Also this week, the center of Qaisaar district of the province was also fell to the Taliban following heavy festivities.

Kamala Harris' response to border crisis a head-scratcher: I haven't 'been to Europe' either
[NYPOST] Vice President Kámala Harris
Former Oakland mayor Willie Brown's former mistress, then a senatrix from California, former 2020 Dem presidential hopeful, and now Joe Biden's wing nut. She's displaying her level of competence in her hanling of the Biden Border Surge
on Tuesday snapped at an NBC anchor when he pressed her on why she hasn’t visited the US-Mexico border in the 76 days since President Joe Biden
...... 46th president of the U.S. We hold these truths to be self-evident. All men and women created ... by the — you know — you know, the thing......
put her in charge of the record-smashing illegal immigration crisis — saying she hasn’t "been to Europe," either.

"At some point, you know, we are going to the border," a defensive Harris told NBC anchor Lester Holt on "Today" in Guatemala on her first international trip since taking office — and 1,308 miles away from the crossing.

"We’ve been to the border. So this whole thing about the border. We’ve been to the border," Harris said, to which Holt replied, "You haven’t been to the border."

Harris countered, "And I haven’t been to Europe. And I mean, I don’t, understand the point that you’re making. I’m not discounting the importance of the border."
*inappropriate cackle*
Harris’ comments come as Border Patrol continues to be overwhelmed by the crisis, which has seen the largest number of illegal immigrants colonists cross the border this fiscal year since 2006.

Nearly 900,000 migrants colonists were stopped by Customs and Border Protection from October 1, 2020, to May 31 of this year, according to preliminary data obtained by Axios on Monday.

CAIR and ICNA cry ''Islamophobia.''
[FRONTPAGEMAG] When it comes to terrorism, if an individual criticizes groups that support or are linked to terror, he/she will be labeled by those groups an "Islamophobe." While the term is loosely defined as someone hateful of Moslems, more often than not it is used as a malicious way to silence critics. Today, however, it seems that, even if you are critical of the terrorist groups themselves, you will be branded with "Islamophobia
...the irrational fear that Moslems will act the way they usually do...
." That is what Florida State Representative Randy Fine has discovered, as he is being attacked by Islamist groups for the language he has used, in response to recent terrorist acts perpetrated by Hamas, the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®, and Paleostinian Islamic Jihad
...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah...

Damascus Residents Voice Disappointment with Post-Elections Degraded Gov't Services
[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] Residents of Damascus expressed disappointment as government services, which were remarkably improved during the electoral campaign, have again worsened as the presidential elections ended.

During the electoral campaigns that lasted for more than a week and preceded the elections that took place on May 26, electricity supply in most areas of Damascus witnessed a noticeable improvement, as rationing was decreased from four hours of power cuts to only two hours, while drinking water was pumped 24 hours a day.

That period also witnessed a continuous activity of street cleaners, who worked all day long, removing garbage from main and secondary streets and avenues. The residents also noticed stability in the prices of vegetables, fruits and many foodstuffs.

However,
the hip bone's connected to the leg bone...
one day after the announcement of the victory of Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad
Terror of Aleppo ...
for a fourth term with 95.1 percent of votes, the situation returned to ’normal’, as power rationing severed surpassing sometimes four hours, with several cuts of 20-30 minutes during the supply hours.

#3  Hurriyat means liberation. There are several players seeking hurriyat here. APHC is what the sympathetic media likes to call the Tehreek-e-Hurriyat; an umbrella association of all separatists working to own free Kashmir. Or trying.

These are [from left to right] Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Syed Ali Shah Geelani and Yasin Malik; Pakistain sponsored separatists and one an ex-terrorist [Malik]. I have 'spoken to' the two on the right at length. Malik still has the marks to show for it ☻. Hustlers and frauds who lost their funding and their power.

They breathe loudly, and they're arrested these days. Most of them were just released from prison or house arrest. Their assets and properties are forfeit. The money's not coming in from Pak, Qatar these days. Just a little trickle from the UK and from within India, to live on. Their cause is history now, so they find silly excuses to act as 'leaders of the people' when they can.

It was a routine deployment. Troop strength is always high in border areas, the companies were just borrowed for election security and were sent back.

Is Someone Trying To Delay The Global COVID Recovery To Ram Through Even More Stimulus?
Whatever might pass in the House on this subject, Senator Mitch McConnell is standing foursquare against letting it pass in the Senate — and he’s been successful thus far.
[Rabobank via ZH] Yesterday’s Daily concluded with the question: "Is this a piece of your brain?" Sadly, I feel the need to start today’s with the same question. What else can one ask when our financial press are filling pages telling us Jeff Bezos is going into space? "Multi-billionaire does something expensive and irrelevant" might as well be the headline; or, I would settle for a Muppets-like "Bezos in Spaaaaaace", which at least has the appropriate lack of gravity.

Meanwhile, we need to be talking more about uncomfortable "I" words:

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
The Music Stops at Beirut's Fabled Nightclubs
[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] At some of Beirut’s most popular nightclubs, where the Middle East’s jet set would gather and dance into the early hours, the music has stopped and disco balls are gathering dust above abandoned dance floors and gutted buildings.

Leb
...an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozeen flavors of Christians. It is the home of Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers, a practice dating back to the heady human sacrifice days of Baal Moloch...
’s party-goers are now largely restricted to pubs, as nightclubs reel from the triple blow of the pandemic, a massive explosion at the city’s port on Aug. 4 that caused extensive damage and a crippling financial crisis.
add in: Shiite hate for anybody enjoying themselves
The economic meltdown has wiped out thousands of jobs, erased around 90% of the local currency’s value against the US dollar and left over half the population below the poverty line.

COVID-19 restrictions are only just beginning to lift, and the chemical blast that killed hundreds of people also left large swathes of the city destroyed, including some of its biggest clubs.

"We are now standing at AHM, or what is left of AHM after Aug. 4," said Samer Makarem, head of marketing at Factory People which owns AHM and The Grand Factory clubs, pointing to a building with no roof left and debris strewn across the floor.

"Nightlife in Lebanon was famous. Beirut is known as ... one of the best party cities in the world," he told Rooters. "The best DJs in the world used to come to Beirut, consistently, every single weekend."

AHM and The Grand Factory are both located just a few hundred meters (yards) from the port where 2,700 tons of ammonium nitrate ignited last summer.

Makarem said he estimated renovation costs for both clubs at more than $500,000, a daunting sum to find at a time when banks are holding on to scarce hard currency.

Student Issa Kaaki was drinking outside a pub in the nearby Mar Mikhael area where many of the venues have been restored.

"It’s not the same for any of us," he said of the clubs’ closure. "Now as you see there’s nothing to do. You just go down, you get a drink, there is nothing left. We used to party, we used to have a good time, now it is off."

Not far away, the B018 club used to attract locals and tourists alike to all-night dancing until its famous rooftop opened as sunrise approached.

"Now we are closed, blackout all the time ... the lifestyle in the city totally changed," Jad Nassar, B018’s manager, said.

His club, a few meters from Beirut port, was shielded from the worst of the blast because it is mainly built underground, but its music system, rooftop and other infrastructure have been badly damaged.

Nassar said the venue would have opened by now, but coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague)
...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men...
restrictions prevented it from doing so.

"I used to go to AHM, Garten, B018, Project and many other places to club from 8 pm till 5 am, have drinks, enjoy life and meet new people," said Mahmoud Kanso, another student.

"We hope they will reopen and the situation gets better."

#1  The music stopped long ago.
On April 13th 1975, members of the Lebanese Phalanges killed 27 Palestinian passengers of a bus. ... This dark April 13th was designated as the official date of the start of the conflict. From the massacre and the arming of the Palestinian groups, trouble escalated. The “battle of the hotels” emptied the big hotels of Beirut almost immediately. This battle destroyed one of the most powerful symbols of the economic boom: Lebanese hospitality and tourists reception.
And Lebanon nightlife never really recovered.

Meghan Markle's new book fails to top the bestseller list
[PAGESIX] Princess Meghan Markle
...unlikable American former starlet married to the formerly likable Prince Harry. Chock full of lefty political opinions and not many brains, Markle's most important characteristic is that she is Black, even though she doesn't look it. Her mother, y'see, is half black and her father is white, which would make her a quarter Black. Her half brother described her (to her husband, before their marriage) as a jaded, shallow, conceited woman that will make a joke of you and the royal family heritage. Once married, she was too classy for the Royals and she and Harry decamped to Beverly Hills, kind of like the Clampetts did, thus making a joke of Harry and the royal family heritage...
’s debut children’s book, "The Bench," failed to top the bestsellers list in the UK on its release date, the Daily Mail reported Tuesday.

Markle, who welcomed her second child with husband Prince Harry
on Friday, made it to the No. 205 spot on the Amazon UK chart, according to the report. It is currently at No. 67 in children’s books.

As of Tuesday morning, "The Bench" — which also features an illustration of the Sussexes’ newborn daughter — currently has a rating of 4 stars out of a possible 5 with 20 reviews.
*snort* those are the publisher's interns voting
"The Bench," which was illustrated by Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, artist Christian Robinson, explores "the special relationship between father and son, as seen through a mother’s eyes," according to the book’s description.

California could blaze pathway with Critical Math Theory
[WASHINGTONTIMES] Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, education officials are considering applying a social justice paradigm to teaching K-12 mathematics that would erase "White supremacy" from the subject and eliminate gifted classes for students.

Proponents of new math say the way the subject currently is taught is suffused with White supremacy. They say it handicaps some minority students by insisting on what they consider racist concepts — such as arriving at correct answers.

Some academics and conservative thinkers fear that forcing critical race theory into math classes would mark a further retreat from America’s preeminent global position in mathematics and sciences. An influx of foreign scholars has long maintained that advantage.

"Ill-conceived [diversity, equity and inclusion] policies, often informed by CRT, and the declining standards of K-12 math education feed each other in a vicious circle, which is in time going to affect the entire mathematics profession and, more broadly, all STEM disciplines," three mathematicians from Princeton University, New York University and the University of California, Irvine, wrote in a recent piece for the online magazine Persuasion.

California’s Instructional Quality Commission is considering introducing into classrooms across the state a modified version of "A Pathway to Equitable Math Instruction," a curriculum developed by the online tool kit EquitableMath.org that aims to remove cultural bias from education.

The social justice curriculum is "an integrated approach to mathematics that centers Black, LatinX and Multilingual students in grades 6-8 [and] addresses barriers to math equity," the organization’s mission statement says.

While doing so, it offers "opportunities for ongoing self-reflection as they seek to develop an anti-racist math practice." Teachers in particular are "asked to reflect on their own biases to transform their instructional practice."

Hundreds arrested in 'staggering' global crime sting
Yesterday we read about the Australian side of the thing, today we get the rest.
[DAILYTIMES.PK] Police arrested more than 800 people worldwide in a huge global sting involving encrypted phones that were secretly planted by the FBI
...Formerly one of the world's premier criminal investigation organizations, something for a nation to be proud of. Now it's a political arm of the Deep State oligarchy that is willing to trump up charges, suppress evidence, or take out insurance policies come election time...
, law enforcement agencies said Tuesday.
Hunter?
Cops in 16 countries were able to read the messages of underworld figures as they plotted drug deals, arms transfers and gangland hits on the compromised ANOM devices. Mafia groups, Asian crime syndicates, cycle of violence gangs and other criminal networks were all monitored using the spiked phones as part of operation "Trojan Shield". The sting, jointly conceived by Australia and the US Federal Bureau of Investigation, prevented around 100 murders, foiled several large-scale narcotics shipments and led to seizures of weapons and cash, they added. "The results are staggering," FBI Assistant Director Calvin Shivers told news hounds at the headquarters of the EU’s police agency Europol in The Netherlands. Shivers said the FBI had provided criminal syndicates in over 100 countries with the devices over the past 18 months "that allowed us to monitor their communications".

Europol hailed the "exceptional" operation, which saw around 12,000 of the ANOM devices distributed worldwide to criminals who thought they were chatting in secret. "This information led over the last week to hundreds of law enforcement operations on a global scale from New Zealand to Australia to Europa
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
and the USA, with impressive results," said Jean-Philippe Lecouffe, deputy director of operations at Europol. "More than 800 arrests, more than 700 locations searched, more than eight tonnes of cocaine." Police also seized 22 tonnes of cannabis, two tonnes of methamphetamine, 250 firearms, 55 luxury vehicles and over $48 million (39 million euros) in various currencies and cryptocurrencies, Europol said.

Three killed, two wounded across NYC as bloody summer approaches
[NYPOST] Three men were rubbed out and at least two maimed across the city Monday and early Tuesday — as Mayor Comrade Bill de Blasio
...cryptocommie mayor of New York and for some reason a Dem candidate for president in 2020. Corrupt and incompetent, his qualifications for office seem to consist of being married to a black woman, with whom he honeymooned in Cuba. He has a preppy-looking son named Dante, whose Divine Comedy involved getting his back hair up when a police car drove past him slowly. New Yorkers voted for him, so they deserve him...
has warned of a bloody summer ahead.

A 28-year-old man was killed in Bedford-Stuyvesant after he was struck in the neck on Lewis Avenue near Myrtle Avenue around 4:10 a.m. Tuesday, authorities said.

No arrests have been made, and the circumstances were not immediately clear.

The man’s death came after retired NYPD transit cop Thomas Marrinan, 57, was also killed when he was accidentally shot by a pal during a scuffle with another man.

Meanwhile,
...back at the shootout, another bullet hole appeared in Butch's hat......
the target, identified by sources as 33-year-old Michael Soto, was shot in the arm. The dispute broke out because Soto was allegedly harassing Velasquez’s 86-year-old father, and the friends stepped in to confront him.

Soto was taken into custody with charges still pending Tuesday morning, authorities said.

...His ancestors didn't own any slaves...
supporters during a weekend trip to Long Island, New York.

The left-wing editorial board member for the New York Times

...which still proudly displays Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize...

was also distressed by what she called expletives on the trucks against President Joe Biden
...... 46th president of the U.S. I'm not working for you. Don't be such a horse's ass.......
, describing the flag-flying Trump supporters as sending a clear message: "This is my country ... not your country. I own this."

"The reality is here that we have a large percentage of the American population — I don’t know how big it is, but we have tens of millions of Trump voters who continue to believe that their rights as citizens are under threat by simple virtue of having to share the democracy with others," Gay said in response to MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski calling for an investigation into the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

"I think that as long as they see Americanness as the same as one with whiteness, this is going to continue," Gay said, turning to race and adding that "Americanness" and "whiteness" needed to be separated.

Eric Adams bests Andrew Yang, Kathryn Garcia in new ranked-choice poll
[NYPOST] The Democratic primary for mayor will be the first citywide election to use a ranked-choice voting system — but the new system may ultimately not matter, a new poll shows.

Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, who has a six-point lead in the latest NY1/Ipsos poll over a sliding Andrew Yang
...Former 2020 Democratic presidential candidate. Unlike most of the other Dem 2020 candidates, he actually did things besides politix in his adult life, which made him political poison. He worked in startups and early-stage growth companies as a founder or executive from 2000 to 2009. After he founded Venture for America, the Obama administration selected him in 2012 as a Champion of Change and in 2015 as a Presidential Ambassador for Global Entrepreneurship. His signature campaign policy is what he calls the Freedom Dividend, a form of Universal Basic Income for every American over 18. Yang believes UBI is a necessary response to the rapid development of automation that is leading to workforce challenges. The other two central elements of Yang's platform are Medicare for All and Human-Centered Capitalism....
and surging Kathryn Garcia, earns the most first-choice votes and would also win over both of them under the new tabulation system, where voters can rank up to five candidates.

When NY1 performed the ranked-choice voting simulation, Adams wins 60-40 over former Sanitation Commissioner Garcia and 58-42 over Yang.

It takes former NYPD captain Adams seven rounds in the winnowing process to get to those victories.

The poll, taken from May 17 to May 31, surveyed 906 likely Democratic voters and has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.4 percentage points.

The former cop’s leapfrogging in the polls comes as public safety is on the minds of New Yorkers ahead of what will likely be a bloody summer.

Suspect will likely face additional charges in death of 5-year-old Samuel Olson
[NYPOST] The woman arrested in the disappearance of a 5-year-old Houston boy will likely face additional charges, a prosecutor said — as a judge also increased her bond in her first court appearance.

Theresa Balboa, 29, the girlfriend of Samuel Olson’s father, Dalton, has been charged with tampering with evidence, a human corpse, in the boy’s death.

During a court hearing Monday, prosecutor Andrea Beall of the Harris County District Attorney’s Office said authorities planned to file additional charges against Balboa, CBS DFW reported.

She said a murder or a capital murder probe is pending in the case.

In addition, Balboa has been charged with assault for allegedly choking Samuel in November.

During the Monday court appearance, State District Judge DaSean Jones increased her bond from $5,000 to $100,000 in the assault case.

Balboa, who also is being held on a $500,000 bond for the tampering charge, did not speak during the brief court hearing.

The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences has not officially identified the body found last week by authorities as Samuel.

But Sherlocks have said they believe the body found inside a plastic box at a Best Western in Jasper, about 135 miles northeast of Houston, is the boy.

Initially, Balboa accused Samuel’s mother and a man who presented himself as a cop of taking the boy.
Initially, Balboa accused Samuel’s mother and a man who presented himself as a cop of taking the boy.

Samuel had been living with Balboa since April 30, according to the outlet. Authorities have not said why the child was staying with Balboa. His dad lived at a different address.

Iraq
Iraq plans nuclear power plants to tackle electricity shortage
[EN.ALGHADEERTV.NET] Iraq is working on a plan to build nuclear reactors as the electricity-starved petrostate seeks to end the widespread blackouts that have sparked social unrest.

OPEC’s No. 2 oil producer — already suffering from power shortages and insufficient investment in aging plants — needs to meet an expected 50% jump in demand by the end of the decade. Building atomic plants could help to close the supply gap, though the country will face significant financial and geopolitical challenges in bringing its plan to fruition.

Iraq seeks to build eight reactors capable of producing about 11 gigawatts, said Kamal Hussain Latif, chairman of the Iraqi Radioactive Sources Regulatory Authority. It would seek funding from prospective partners for the $40 billion plan and pay back the costs over 20 years, he said, adding that the authority had discussed cooperation with Russian and South Korean officials.

Mauritania: Islamist Party Calls for Peaceful Struggle Against Regime
[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] The Islamist National Rally for Reform and Development (Tawasul)
...sometimes spelt Tewassoul, it’s the Muslim Brotherhood in Mauritania. As a result of the 2018 election, it became the second largest political party in Mauritania, and focus of the opposition...
called for pursuing a peaceful struggle to hold the regime responsible for the challenging situation the country is going through.

In statements received by the German Press Agency, the party said that after an emergency meeting of its executive office, it decided to adopt a peaceful program and call for a comprehensive dialogue.

It renewed its call for a comprehensive national dialogue that leads to a transformation that lays solid foundations for resolving the country's core problems.

Tawasul is the largest opposition party in the Mauritanian parliament. It granted the regime of President Mohammed Ould Cheikh el-Ghazouani, who took power in August 2019, a deadline to normalize the political atmosphere.

The party's position comes while growing public discontent over the country’s lack of security, which led to the death of dozens of innocent citizens killed by gangs in Nouakchott.

After series of incidents, the president toured a number of the capital's neighborhoods, during which he visited security units.

Meanwhile,
...back at the shootout, Butch shot Ike through the elbow. Take that, Ike! he yelled......
four opposition parties called on the government to put an end to the chaos and ensure the security and safety of citizens, in light of the unprecedented wave of disorder in the capital.

The opposition parties Ettakatol, the Union of Progress Forces, Sawab, and Democratic Forces signed a statement, warning that the current lack of security in the country undermines the prestige of the state and threatens a real catastrophe that may affect the citizens' lives.

They stated that this may constitute a serious threat to civil harmony and social peace, especially in poor and remote neighborhoods, without security or safety.

The parties expressed their strong dissatisfaction with the authorities’ indifference in the face of the seriousness of the drug scourge, noting that an increasing number of children and youth are turning to drugs and criminality.

During the past weeks, several citizens were stabbed to death by organized crime gangs under the influence of drugs.

Genocide conviction upheld against Mladic
In a more civilized age, Mladic would be worm food.
[Rooters] United Nations war crimes judges on Tuesday upheld a genocide conviction and life sentence against former Bosnian Serb military commander Ratko Mladic, confirming his central role in Europe’s worst atrocities since World War Two.

Mladic, 78, led Bosnian Serb forces during Bosnia's 1992-95 war. He was convicted in 2017 on charges of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes including terrorising the civilian population of the Bosnian capital Sarajevo during a 43-month siege, and the killing of more than 8,000 Muslim men and boys taken prisoner in the eastern town of Srebrenica in 1995.

"His name should be consigned to the list of history's most depraved and barbarous figures," chief tribunal prosecutor Serge Brammertz said after the verdict. He urged all officials in the ethnically divided region of former Yugoslavia to condemn the ex-general.

Another High-Ranking Capitol Police Official *Resigns* Amid January 6th Riots Fallout
[TRENDINGPOLITICS] A high-ranking Capitol Police official has resigned ahead of an impending report that is likely to scapegoat officers for security failures running up to the January 6th riots.

The Capitol Police official’s resignation is yet another domino to fall in the aftermath of the Capitol Riots. The first domino was set off by former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund stepping down, followed by the House and Senate sergeant-at-arms. Politico reported on the resignation on Monday:

Chad Thomas, the No. 2 Capitol Police official overseeing most of its uniformed officers, resigned from his position Monday as the department attempts to chart a path forward after the Jan. 6 insurrection, according to congressional and Capitol Police sources.

His departure comes as watchdogs urge the department to shift its posture from that of a police force to more of an intelligence-gathering and protective agency for members of Congress and as rank-and-file officers express frustration with current leadership.

Thomas had served as assistant chief of police for uniformed operations since 2019. A memo obtained by Politico stated that he was "separating from the Department," and it thanked him for his service.

French President Macron Gets Bitch Slapped In Public
[Breitbart] Two people have been arrested
Voici! Thought he was slapped by one person!
after French President Emmanuel Macron was slapped in the face by a man while visiting the commune of Tain-l’Hermitage on Tuesday, an incident that has been widely condemned by political party leaders.

The incident took place during Macron’s "Tour of the French territories" in the department of Drôme and was caught on video and spread across social media. The video shows the French president approach a man to shake his hand, before the member of the public slaps Macron across the face before being tackled by security and police.

Courtesy of Clem, Zero Hedge adds:
Thinking he was approaching a "fan" behind a metal barrier, Macron walked up to a man in the crowd and grasped his hand, only for the man to then shout in his face, "Down with Macronia" (à bas la Macronie) - according to France24 - while simultaneously delivering a hard slap.

While the attacker's motives remain unclear, there are reports quoting him as also yelling "Montjoie Saint Denis", recognized as a historic battle cry of military members under the old French monarchy.

Israeli ambassador: Hamas was using Associated Press building to jam Iron Dome technology
[FoxNews] Israeli Ambassador to the UN and US Gilad Erdan told the Associated Press on Monday that the Palestinian terror group Hamas was using its now destroyed Gaza building to obstruct the Iron Dome missile defense system, according to the Jerusalem Post and the Times of Israel.

"That is why it was prioritized [as a target] by the IDF during last month’s operation,’" the Times of Israel reported about the meeting between Erdan and the AP's Gary Pruitt and Ian Phillips.

Israel leveled the Gaza media tower, which had also housed Al Jazeera, in an air strike last month. The strike drew howls of outrage from the press, but some Middle East voices said the Israeli airstrike on the building would be justified by the explanation.

"Entirely legitimate," international human rights lawyer Arsen Ostrovsky said following the reports.

"Hamas deliberately embeds itself among the press to shield its terrorism against Israel," the American Israel Public Affairs Committee tweeted. "Defeating terrorism is necessary for peace."

"And the media is still complaining about the offices being destroyed," added conservative journalist Kassy Dillon.

Pruitt said last month the wire service was "shocked and horrified that the Israeli military would target and destroy the building housing AP’s bureau and other news organizations in Gaza." He also claimed that the AP didn't know Hamas was active in the building.
The Times of Israel adds:
The explanation was the most detailed one yet given publicly by Israeli officials. While Erdan acknowledged that the electronic system had not yet been operational when the IDF took out the tower, the ambassador told AP executives that the "building posed such an imminent threat to Israeli civilians and was [therefore] prioritized by the IDF."

Erdan also mentioned an earlier reason given by the IDF for the strike, saying the tower housed offices for Hamas, a regional Iranian catspaw,’s military intelligence, its research and development department and a tech unit.

In an accompanying statement, the military said its strike was aimed at destroying Hamas’s equipment.

"According to IDF assessments, the equipment was in the building at the time of the strike. The strike was designed to collapse the building in order to ensure the destruction of the special means," the IDF said.

"The target was of high military value to Hamas and was vetted according to rigorous procedures within the IDF, and in accordance with international law," the military added.

The meeting with Erdan "was a positive and constructive conversation," the AP said in a statement. The agency expressed its appreciation for his pledges to help rebuild an AP bureau in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
. The AP renewed its call to see evidence backing Israel’s claim that Hamas was operating in the building.

Two more states sue Biden administration over Keystone XL pipeline, bringing total to 23
[WASHINGTONEXAMINER] Two more attorneys general have announced their respective states are joining a lawsuit against the Biden administration and its "illegal" cancellation of the Keystone XL pipeline.

"The Constitution is clear that presidents do not have the power to regulate foreign and interstate commerce or to unilaterally undo an act of Congress," said Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen, announcing that Alaska and Florida are joining the legal fight.

In the statement, Knudsen said U.S. consumers would benefit the most by the construction of the pipeline — and are subsequently hurt the most by its cancellation.

"The fallout from the Colonial pipeline cyberattack made it very clear that we need more energy infrastructure, not less. The Keystone XL would get more oil, including Montana oil, to American refineries to be sold to American consumers," he said.

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody and Alaska Attorney General Treg Taylor were added to a complaint filed with the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas on Thursday, bringing the total number of states in the lawsuit to 23.

Rare case of female Wakandan rage - woman charged after allegedly shooting into car with kids inside
[NYP] A Tennessee woman is facing numerous charges after allegedly shooting into a car carrying four children in a wild, broad-daylight road-rage incident that left one passenger wounded, according to a report.

Shanyka Fouche, 22, was a passenger in a Ford Fusion driving along I-55 in Jefferson County on Saturday when she opened fire on a Nissan Pathfinder with two adults and four children — ages 2 to 11 — inside, St. Louis Today reported Monday.

Fouche’s own 2-year-old child was in the car with her when she fired the three rounds around 3 p.m., the newspaper reported.

The children in the victim’s car were not harmed, but a 32-year-old man in the Pathfinder’s passenger seat was struck in the leg.

The family pulled over and called 911.

[EN.ALGHADEERTV.NET] Foreign ministers of Southeast Asia and China agreed during a meeting to exercise restraint in the South China Sea and avoid actions that could escalate tensions, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) said on Tuesday.

The ASEAN statement referred to a meeting on Monday in China of the ministers and comes after separate diplomatic protests in recent weeks made by Malaysia and the Philippines over the conduct of China’s military and fishing fleet.

Obama claims media stokes 'fear and resentment' among white Americans
[NYPOST] Former President Obama is claiming right-wing media outlets of profiting by stoking "fear and resentment" among white people toward a "changing America" — pointing to national pushback on critical race theory as an example. The 44th commander-in-chief told Anderson Cooper in a CNN
...the organization formerly known as the Cable News Network. Now who knows what it might stand for...
special Monday that many race problems are a reflection of the US not having "fully reconciled with our history."
Seen by, oh, ...25,000 viewers worldwide?
He said it was "hard for the majority" of white Americans "to recognize you can be proud of this country and its traditions and its history and our forefathers and yet, it is also true that this terrible stuff happened."

"The vestiges of that linger and continue," Obama said.

The Democrat said that his political opponents would often "not only block that story but try to exploit it for their own political gain."

What disrespect?
That's just a poke and some good ribbing.

Soccer is more of a speed Foot driven ball game than the US Football style adapted from the UK's Rugby, which started in the early 1800's.

US Football (later 1800's) is basically a Military Battle Strategy education game, taught from grade school ages to adulthood.

#4  Sigh...this has been over a thousand times...in football the ball is advanced by foot. The other sport should be called kickball.

It was just another slap in the face from our "friends" in Europe. For it to be a gentle rib between friends, you have to be friends. We're not, and Europeans made that crystal clear quite some time ago. Don't believe me? Here's a milder sample of the typical rhetoric:

"Germany or Russia don't have military bases, don't dominate their media, politics, cause wars or influence elections like the USA does to Europe, the USA hates Europe and independent countries, the USA only guarantees war, misery, poverty, shame, decline, death and humiliation.

America is a dumpster fire of a nation that is: racist, lazy, homophobic, nationalistic, Islamophobic, obsessed with non-democratic forms of leadership, shitty food, rednecks with buck teeth that look like they got curb stomped."

Explain how that's a friendly rib between nations.

#9  Quoting from typical rhetoric Europeans use on other websites. If you got out more you'd be familiar with it. Trust me, that's pretty mild compared to what's out there. I'm rather shocked that worldly people find this to be novel, as it's literally all over the place. How do you avoid seeing it everywhere Europeans talk about America? These people are not our friends, though they'll take all our free money and spit on us in return.

"I’m willing to stand up to big, powerful, arrogant nations who wish to profit off of suffering and extension of neo-imperialism. The US is a parasitic nation run by banks and corporations and constantly meddles in the affairs of other countries, despite the fact that many millions of Americans themselves are literally starving and live in poverty. A lot like Russia, actually, in that everything in both Russia and the US is controlled by a percentage of the population. They’re both oligarchies that think themselves above the law. However, the US has contributed more directly to the fucked affairs of the world than Russia has.

Although I live in the UK and stupidly my county is allies with America, I do believe America is the biggest threat to "world peace" that country is a mastermind of manipulation, causing wars, faking terror attacks, invading countries, taking down regimes, rigging their own elections, destablising countries, provoking massive countries like Russia and portraying them to Western media as the heroes and Russia the enemy, funding terror groups and so on. America is poison."

#10  And yet the same people scream bloody murder when we try to LEAVE their countries and take our money and bases with us. I like Europeans, but to call them allies is a stretch. They can't even be called client states because they don't do what they are told. When the muslims take over and they beg for help, I hope we say no, why is it America has to fix their problems.

#12  No flopping in American Style football, that's for sure.

Didn't use to be until the soccorization of pro-sports in America, with personality forward advertising instead of performance based entertainment.

The obvious example is Bron Bron. Didn't see that crap back in the Barkley, Jordan, Malone era or before.

In football, it is the 3rd and huge long pass to the star receiver with the intention of a pass interference rather than a completion, often times with a purposefully underthrown ball so the receive can quickly slow down causing a collision with the corner.

That is, if driving, the hard brake to cause a rear end accident.

#14  5 years ago NHL - we even think you flop, you go into penalty box.

Last year - hard tap with a darker skinned player gets you penalty box.

NFL, like the NBA, is irrecoverably broken. Sure, they will do Big Military Appreciation, Honor Tillman, Tebow Underrated All This Time?, and other publicity stunts to wrap gauze around a 00 buck gut wound.

MLB, usually 2 years behind the trend, gained a lap with the mascot purge, opting instead for muppet sex toy hybrids doing weird hip gyros in the faces of the dugout kids.

#15  Quoting from typical rhetoric Europeans use on other websites. If you got out more you'd be familiar with it.

Oh. You mean the Brit/EU equivalent of the American sites I also don’t waste time perusing because they’re full of ignorant idiots congratulating themselves on what they fondly believe to be cleverness.

I’ve never claimed to be worldly — quite the opposite, and grateful for it. I prefer spending my time with people who are knowledgeable, insightful, and happily wise. There are plenty of Europeans and Brits like that, too — I’ve spent my entire life in an international crowd, both when we lived in America and the years my husband’s career took us to Europe after the Wall fell. (If you’ve ever been in the shops in Hungary or Russia or India or Egypt or Peru, among many others, you’ll have seen the results of his labours.) A few acquaintances over the years had the kind of odd ideas the French philosopher-journalist Jean François Revel discussed in his _Anti-Americanism_ and you do above, but all have been entirely too well bred to speak in the terms you so kindly share with us.

As an aside, there is already a game called kickball. In America schoolchildren play it with a big rubber ball on a baseball diamond.

#16  Separately, Mr. McCoy, when did you become English? You’ve never claimed that before, to my recollection, nor does anything about your writing style reflect a non-American sensibility. And you truly must decide if you are a fellow American, annoyed that those Europeans are not our friends, or a Brit who does not want to be friends with America alongside those foulmouthed others. Your usual line is to explain that you’re a long time Rantburger and dreadfully disappointed that the current generation is so immoral and hateful. And then post a bunch of long, over-HTML’d blog pieces about paleo-conservative philosophy that have nothing to do with either Rantburg’s mission or its side interests.

#18  In Olde Times, back when The Church was trying to ban it, it likely resembled something we would recognize as Olde Hockey or Olde Football where hits were brutal and frequent and not penalized.

Only recently, last 150 years, did it become Footsie, the rift being those who craved the contact going rugby/football.

That is, Lacrosse would have been a familiar game.

#19  Such a hullabaloo about a rib. I don't see the disrespect. In America you call it soccer, or kickball or whatever; the rest of the world calls it football.

I wish our hair triggers would work better on real issues, which are not out there in Europe or Russia.

#20  I agree Dron, why quibble over what something is called. We have that in plenty even across the US geographically and across generations. I do think it'd be funny if the next time a brit asks an american for a torch, he gets handed a nice heavy stick with burning pitch on the end instead of a flashlight

#22  Two peoples divided by one language. We moved back to the States just in time for trailing daughter #1 to start first grade, after having gone to the International School in Brussels — American-style teaching with an English classroom teacher and a dear little Irish teaching assistant, but because the school was exceedingly expensive and they had a lot of students from England, they taught reading and writing in kindergarten instead of waiting until first grade. So td#1 stumbled over all the vocabulary differences (as well as having to learn to print in American ball and stick, after having learnt the previous year in English italics): verruca/wart, jumper/sweater.... the big one for her was tadpoles, about which she was very excited because the previous year they’d kept journals on the development of polliwogs into frogs, and she couldn’t wait to see what kind of creature tadpoles became.

But nobody here really cares about the soccer/American football/football difference, Dron. They’re all reacting to Herb McCoy/Jiggs Trotsky5854 jumping straight into being nasty again after having been away — or anonymously well-behaved until now. It’s how he amuses himself — none of the fights he picks are meaningful, either to him or to us.

swksvolFF, it is my understanding that as late as the 1920s college football players often had to be carried off the field with broken bones or skulls, and occasionally died of it. There were other traditions they had that produced similar results Looking back, the thinking is that they didn’t have enough physical risks in their lives — World War II changed the mentality for all that kind of thing.

-Short Attention Span Theater-
Pearl Harbor on Lockdown UPDATE: Fake Bomb Threat Called In

Followed two hours later by:

Hopefully today the reason for the lockdown will be revealed. While we wait, we can rejoice that it was not a major attack.
Update from the Star Advertiser at 7:30 a.m. ET
Two phoned-in bomb threats claiming an bomb was on the destroyer USS William P. Lawrence in the shipyard’s Dry Dock 4 led to a lengthy Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam lockdown today, bottling up thousands who were told to shelter in place and avoid windows in the event of flying glass, officials said.

Personnel working in Dry Dock 4, where work on surface ships is conducted mainly by contractors, were evacuated to Dry Dock 1 during the lockdown, officials said.

Bomb-sniffing dogs could be seen working along the waterfront. No bomb was found, the joint base said. Motorists who were not able to leave the joint base due to the lockdown vented their frustration on social media.

At 9:39 a.m., entrances to the joint base were secured and the shelter-in-place order was given for what the base referred to as a "security incident."

The Hickam side of the base ended its shelter order first, followed by an "all clear" that cancelled the security watch at about 1:30 p.m.

A "person of interest" was sought out, questioned, and found to have no involvement, an official said.

'Hardcore' felon caught peeping on mother, teen at Florida home
[NYPOST] A "hardcore" convicted felon was arrested in Florida after being caught on a security camera peeping into the bedroom of a teenage girl, authorities said.Santos Pantoja, a 39-year-old married ex-con who previously served prison stints for manslaughter and burglary, was caught on camera prowling outside an Auburndale home on May 24, Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said last Wednesday.

He was allegedly nabbed again four days later peering into a 17-year-old girl’s bedroom, the sheriff said.

"He’s a bad man," Judd said in a video announcing Pantoja’s arrest. "He’s already been to state prison on two occasions."

Judd said Pantoja was caught on video during each incident and released footage showing the suspect outside the teen’s window during the most recent incident

"He’s got a hitch in his giddy up to be trying to look into a child’s window before 7 o’clock in the morning," an angry Judd said. "Oh, and he’s carrying a sprinkler. I guess that’s so if anybody sees him, he will tell them he’s working on the sprinklers."

Iraq
Senior Iraqi National Intelligence Officer Gunned down in Baghdad
[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] Unidentified button men killed on Monday a senior officer of the Iraqi National Intelligence Service (INIS) in the Iraqi capital Baghdad, marking the second time a member of the vital agency is targeted in the past few months.

The officer’s liquidation follows a wider murder campaign taking down popular activists for the last 24 months. So far, no official statement about the findings of the ongoing investigation was made.

Perpetrators of the attack are likely still on the lam.

However,
Switzerland makes more than cheese...
the INIS identified the slain officer as Nibras Farman Chaaban and had served at the rank of a colonel under the alias "Abu Ali."

It condemned his murder, saying he was killed by a "cowardly and treacherous operation" in a "desperate bid to stop him from carrying out his duties."

According to the statement, Chaaban "tried resisting the assailants by exchanging fire."

Despite fighting back, a gunman in a pickup managed fatally shot the officer with a Kalashnikov rifle.

Moreover, the INIS stressed that Chaaban’s liquidation was aimed at "dissuading the agency from carrying out its duties."

It described Chaaban as an exemplary model in terms of dedication and sincerity in serving Iraq and its people.

The INIS reaffirmed that Chaaban played a prominent role in combating terrorism and organized crime throughout his years of service and vowed to punish the culprits and continue fighting the "enemies of Iraq."

In March, unidentified button men assassinated Mohammed Laith, another officer of the INIS, in the Mansour neighborhood in western Baghdad.

The string of liquidations of security officers and civil activists took place despite repeated calls by the government and some political parties to contain the uncontrolled possession of weapons by some gangs in the country.
