[Gateway] Former President Donald Trump has been holding meetings with "Cabinet members" at his golf club in New Jersey this week, according to a top ally.
Mark Meadows, who was Trump’s final White House chief of staff, said the work at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, is focused on "what comes next" with regards to 2022 and 2024 elections, after which Newsmax host Steve Cortes (himself a former Trump adviser) asked whether he wanted to break any news about his meetings with the former president.
"We met with several of our Cabinet members tonight," Meadows said. "We actually had a follow-up member — meeting with some of our Cabinet members, and as we were looking at that. We were looking at what does come next. I’m not authorized to speak on behalf of the president, but I can tell you this, Steve: We wouldn’t be meeting tonight if we weren’t making plans to move forward in a real way, with President Trump at the head of that ticket."
[Western Journal] After a deadly attack on an oil tanker off the coast of Oman, the USS Ronald Reagan is now involved.
In the wee hours of Friday morning, the tanker, MT Mercer Street, was hit by what officials believe was a drone, according to The Times of Israel.
The attack killed two crew members — one British and one Romanian.
Israeli officials blamed Iran for the attack. In recent months, Iran and Israel have each had their ships fired upon and blamed the other for the attacks.
Although past assaults have damaged shipping, this is the first attack in which crewmen aboard the vessels have been reported killed.

[KOMONews] SEATTLE --The latest act of violence at the King County courthouse has one County Council member saying it's time to move its operations out of Seattle.
"We talked about this in October of 2019 and we’re still talking about it and so it’s time to take action," said County Councilwoman Kathy Lambert, adding that massive security changes need to be made to improve safety or it should relocate. "I think the courthouse needs to be moved. Not because we’re trying to abandon, but because we’re trying to protect people." In short you are abandoning having the courthouse in Seattle
Lambert isn't the only one calling for drastic change.
KOMO News received an internal email from a person who works in the courthouse who emailed Executive Dow Constantine and Mayor Jenny Durkan That would be the 'summer of love - but with a body count' mayor of Seattle.
that said, in part, "For years, employees who work in the Courthouse have raised security concerns and no one seems to care. We ask witnesses, victims, and jurors to come to the Courthouse knowing that it is not safe . . . this situation is completely unacceptable."
"Many have felt their voices have not been heard," said King County Superior Court Judge Sean O’Donnell, adding that the people he has spoken to have been shaken up by the attempted rape and feel like nothing has been done yet to fix it. "Something has got to be done to change the status quo."
When asked who should be working to improve safety around the courthouse, O'Donnell said, "Well, this is the city of Seattle so you can start there."
KOMO News tried talking with folks who work in the courthouse who didn't feel comfortable talking on camera but continued to say how fearful they are when going to the building.
We also spoke with county councilmember Reagan Dunn who says he's received dozens of calls from people who are begging for security to improve in and around the courthouse.

SEATTLE — A female courthouse worker was attacked and assaulted Thursday morning in a second-floor bathroom of the King County Courthouse by a homeless registered sex offender, according to law enforcement sources close to the investigation.
King County Councilmember Reagan Dunn wrote an open letter to Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan and King County Executive Dow Constantine calling for emergency action:
“I am requesting that the Courthouse, the Administration Building and the Chinook building be shut down to all, except to employees and people with necessary business until the situation at City Hall Park can be adequately addressed, and we can ensure the safety of our employees,” Dunn wrote.
The City Hall Park, aka Muskatel Medows, is just outside the courthouse - in Downtown Seattle.

If you can't operate a court safely, you don't deserve a court and should be subjected to martial law.

This serves to illustrate how REAL governors, etc. used to deal with this kind of crap, from Wikipedia:
On August 22, 1900, Akron experienced its worst riot in history, and possibly the worst riot in Ohio history. This followed the abduction and sexual assault on the six-year-old daughter of the Maas family while in front of her home. Around midnight that day, Louis Peck, an African-American who had been working as a bartender on Howard Street in Akron, was arrested at a train station in Cleveland but then brought back to Akron where he confessed to the crime. The next day's newspapers exaggerated Peck's confession and even printed the confession in red ink. A mob gathered in front of the newly built City Building and threatened a lynching. The Police Chief arranged for Peck and another black man to be moved to Cleveland for their safety. In the evening crowds grew even larger, demanding Peck and attempting to enter the City Building, but were barred by police. Tensions escalated after police returned fire into the crowd after shots were fired toward them, and two small children were killed in the crossfire. The mob resorted to dynamite, blowing up the City Building and also the Courthouse in attempts to reach Peck. Rioters even attacked firemen who attempted to put the fire out, by throwing bricks and cutting their hoses. The rioters burned the downtown fire station to the ground. At some point during the riot, the mayor called to the crowd from the window of a building that Peck had been taken from Akron to Cleveland, but the crowd refused to believe this. The mob violence lasted nearly to 4:00 the next morning, when the Governor declared martial law and sent soldiers to restore order. Thirty-one men and boys were later convicted of charges related to the riot. Louis Peck was convicted in less than 20 minutes; there was no lawyer who would take his case. In 1913 he was freed by Governor Cox for wrongful imprisonment.

[Townhall] It's Kurt
Everybody wrap something around your face again even though they said you wouldn’t need to if you got vaxxed! But they didn’t lie — no, apparently a bunch of people — and not just those evil white nationalist-Christian-gun-Jesus-flag people — are refusing to get the vaccine, and the reason is that they are moral defectives somehow in thrall to Tucker Carlson’s Svengali-like powers of persuasion. You see, the people who won’t get it are stupid people who hate science because they refuse to trust the people who have spent the last year-and-a-half lying to them.

Faith is for the congregation, not the priest?

He did mention this:
I got the vaccine. I also had the disease. I talked to conservative doctors I trusted about my unique situation and made my decision. You should do the same
And if your doctor tells you not to vaccinate, your family can sue him for malpractice after delta gets you? (well, he is a lawyer)
#7
^This is not a personal decision - because it affects other people.
For example: an attendant in a retirement home does not have a right to refuse vaccination AND keep their job. Ditto for medical personnel or school teachers.
On the positive side, I understand that now - when delta (which is not age discriminatory like the earlier versions) became prevalent, people who know somebody that got it personally, harry to vaccinate - some people are slow learners.
#8
Regardless of your position on any of the vaccines, it is impossible to ignore that a large part of what has gone on has little to do with the supposed catalyst.
You demand the vaccine (any) or you refuse and of course anybody who doesn't follow you is obviously an imbecile, government stooge or possibly an imbecilic government stooge. Fine.
That still doesn't explain the fact that a great deal of global governmental intervention has been at best adjacent to and in many cases counter to public health and societal well being.
I would also observe they seem to be getting a might shrill and thuggish about something that produces a 99 + % survival rate. So, what's it all mean?
Come-on people give it up, everybody knows that you oppose the vaccines for the same reason you oppose masks & lockdowns. You oppose anything that comes from the other party (and so do they) regardless of the facts of the matter.
#12
#9 Leaving aside the fact you have no idea whether I am vaccinated or not, whether I oppose them or not, it's worth examining what you mean by facts. Because at this moment in time you can run down any fact or expert to prove anything you want.
No Dr I and my personal medical history does not extend beyond me so it would ne unethical to promote either therapeutic approach. Is that clear enough for you?
Now I may well be a slow learner, obviously I would be the last to know. But oh real man of genius, did it ever occur to you to consider the actual question I was raising instead of the fevered dialogue churning in the back of your head?
Golly, back when I was a blunt instrument for the state they even told us to watch out about all that 'ere self talk. I'm guessing yours is out of hand. I'd hate to make any suggestions in the presence of nobility and all, but you might want to think about getting into the same conversation before manically proclaiming how right you are. All I did was ask a question or 2.
#14
Many thanks for the hint, G. Living in outer darkness I need all I can get. But I have to differ with the rest of your response, or as they say in the aulde country, I call bullsh!t.
Your favored arrow device left me thinking, or perhaps 'thinking' you were responding to me. That with the treasured suggestion I should follow the advice for the slow of thought. Then you went on to tell me just what I was thinking and why using that pesky 'you' pronoun.
So technically I suppose you would be right, since you apparently are as unable to divine my motivation as my point and ultimately questions.
Protest too much? How clever. If I were quicker on the uptake I would guess somebody important said that. Perhaps I simply detest mind readers, after all it's most commonly an older woman's profession anyway.
#16
Did you ever fucking look at the information I told you to look at from the 2017 PDR on HCQ dosages and how it relates to all of the studies or are you going to keep looking away every time I mention it?
#17
Language, Thing, language - don't imitate certain immature individuals. Did you remember my argument about HCQ - if it were capable of working some poor country would have used it. Remember USA is has 4.2% of world population. Don't overestimate the power & influence of Fauci and "Big Pharma".
For that matter, when pandemic started, Bibi went to his pal Modi and scored 7 tons of HCQ. Several hospitals and universities in Israel tested it - totally worthless.
Not enough? Google "Brazil HCQ".
#18
So in short you don't have to look at the details of the fraud because you don't think it's plausible to begin with.
>>Googling "Brazil HCQ" is not peer reviewed.
AND: IF Google was funding Ecohealth Alliance, they're complicit in the creation of the virus. The figures I found in the print PDR are different than the ones from the website.
\
There is broad scale information warfare going on.
Part of the problem with hcq is that it was a good preventative and/or early stage treatment, which is something western medicine is refusing to look at.
Look, trying to extract value from the stuff that Fauci and the international bureaucracy is putting out is basically like trying to polish a turd after picking it up by the clean end. Go and look at the sources on paper yourself from shortly before the problem started.
(Helpful hint: 2010's PDR doesn't have an extensive entry on HCQ, but 2017's does, I guess because it started being used in the west again due to RA and Lupus.)
There's more, but I'm not trying to convince you to take HCQ _right now_. There may actually be better drugs for you to take, although they're lying about them too...
#21
#15 So now you've branched out from your ruefully unsuccessful mind reading gig into psychoanalysis, with similar results. You simply don't like it that somebody called you on your BS and preposterous attempts at bullying.
You did EXACTLY what I said you did and you're too small to simply own it, you know, like a man. You neither refute nor provide counter point and above all you have totally avoided any remote attempt to address my initial point. Your misreading of which has led to our exchange.
Even a woman can't avoid the actual underlying point and deflect this well. All that anime is going to your head. Oh, and as a very maybe THE wisest man recently observed 'belief obscures reality', sort of like your response to #18 thing from snowy mountain...superb self awareness, Bravo!
#22
Too bad Kurt had to anchor his argument on the COVID debacle, because the larger point isn't COVID, vaccines, masks or lockdowns. The big picture is credibility or lack of it. The "scientists" in this, Fauxi, et. al. - credibility zero. The institutions, CDC, NIH, et. al. - credibility zero. The politicians, media and corporate officer types shrieking "Muh Science™! - credibility zero. Ditto for the institutions and organizations they populate
The entire concept of "The Noble Lie in service of a Greater Truth" is noxious, toxic bunkum, and anyone trafficking in it - credibility zero.

The GIVERnment has taken this pandemic so serious that they have only let in ~1.3 million unvaccinated illegals into the country since the pandemic started.
[JPost] - The Knesset these days looks like an unemployment center surrounded by a city playground. One day someone comes to get a job. The next day it looks like a fistfight is about to break out.
Just take a look at the last week. On Monday, Religious Zionist MK Itamar Ben-Gvir took to the Knesset podium and refused to refer to Joint List MK Ahmad Tibi, who was running the session, by the title "Mr. Chairman," as MKs have traditionally begun their remarks.
When Tibi ordered him to do so, Ben-Gvir refused and called Tibi a terrorist. When Tibi called on Knesset ushers to remove Ben-Gvir from the podium, the MK, who is not exactly small, put up a fight, holding on to the sides of the podium for dear life.
The next day, Shas MK Moshe Abutbul called Labor leader Merav Michaeli a "beginner woman" who made a mistake bringing that "Reform guy" into the Knesset referring to MK Gilad Kariv, a Reform rabbi, who later that day saw the entire Shas Party get up and walk out of the plenum when he took to the Knesset podium.
If that wasn’t enough, UTJ MK Moshe Gafni called Prime Minister Naftali Bennett a "murderer," and then MK Ya'acov Litzman yelled at Kariv to "shut up," who in turn called the haredi parliamentarian a "disgrace" and "defender of pedophiles."

No Asian parliament is complete without this nonsense I suppose. This whole type of government to me is a silly farce. Not such a problem if the ones really in charge are all military and the stupid thing is only for the constitutionally minded.
Nations where this passes for actual government are the really unfortunate ones.
#8
Well, I'm happy that you're happy for it, Grom. I suppose it has its cute moments. My money's on Presidents for life and diverse opinions and narrow interests all told to stow it.
#11
They'll roll over the establishments set up by hordes of bickering buffoons with weak hearts and no balls. Not talking about a State like Israel, where the leaders are all ex-military and survival is considered the primary imperative that outweighs other considerations. But even with you it's touch and go these days.
Some nation states modified the standard European pattern taught to the world to suit their real needs, some still enamored by western progress thought it was this that everybody needed to commit to to achieve greatness. We are witnessing first hand what all the greatness has wrought. I have always said absolute power needs to rest in fewer hands, and those hands need to be committed to the people not process.
#13
Yes, that's a problem. And I can't say that a couple decades of military service would produce a patriot who was incorruptible or not stupid. Of course there needs to be consensus too. Maybe I'm wrong. It's probably my frustrations...
I can only shoot off here at the 'Burg, among you friends. In my realm I have to see these dysfunctional appendages of state flounder trying to perform, all for lack of leadership. Leadership which could be applied, if the leader didn't have to worry about votes.
#14
Yes, that's a problem. And I can't say that a couple decades of military service would produce a patriot who was incorruptible or not stupid.
History provides plenty of counter-examples: all these Roman & Byzantine generals who took the throne and been a disaster - or, passed the rule to a son who was a disaster.
For that matter, closer to home, I believe that Itzhak Rabin almost destroyed Israel - only Arabs' inability to control their blood lust saved us.
I'm sure you can think of similar examples from Indian history.
#15
Nope. I'm afraid India has only been consistently done in by the civ pols. If we're still standing it's because we kept out job reservations, caste appeasement and welfare politics out of the forces, and carefully selected who to give a uniform to. And the only times we were able to advance militarily or securitywise against our combined enemies was when the military was trusted by a smart leader. Only had one or two of those. Like Indira Gandhi, our own Golda Meir.
#16
^But before that. In 3000 years there were no cases of a general overthrowing a king and being a disaster? Or a great conqueror proving to be a lousy peace time ruler?
#19
a general overthrowing a king and being a disaster?
It was actually the disastrous kings being thrown down by generals who then fixed stuff. Just remembered. One cannot superimpose the lessons learned from European history and their lousy precipitate called representative democracy on all cultures, Grom.
[Washington Examiner] An immigrant from the Soviet Union to the United States is warning against critical race theory, saying school curricula drawing from it resemble the Marxism that once flourished in the USSR.
Elina Kaplan, who said she's a registered Democrat, said in particular that the state ethnic studies model curriculum in California reflects what she was taught as a child.
"All of a sudden, I was reading the same concepts and language, in English this time, in the guiding principles of the California Ethnic Studies model curriculum," Kaplan said Friday.
The California Board of Education approved its model curriculum March 18, which defines ethnic studies as a field that "critically grapples with the various power structures and forms of oppression that continue to have social, emotional, cultural, economic, and political impacts."
[Rudaw] Iraqi counter terror units killed an Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... (ISIS) leader in Diyala province, the Iraqi Security Media Cell said on Saturday.
The ISIS leader, known as Abu Saad al-Samin, was killed near Lake Hamrin in Diyala province, the cell said in a statement on Telegram.
Samin was an emir and also had a role in carrying out operations and preparing jacket wallahs, it added.
According to the cell, counter terror forces had been following the movements of Samin for some time.
Kurdish and Iraqi forces arrested more than a dozen suspected ISIS members, including leaders, in raids across the country earlier this month.
Scores of ISIS suspects have been arrested in Iraq in recent months. The "Emir of Baghdad" was picked up in Baghdad in July, five ISIS suspects were arrested planning an attack on Erbil in the same month, and in April, 22 ISIS suspects were arrested in Sulaimani.
Peshmerga and Iraqi forces now plan to increase their coordination by forming two joint brigades. "The terrorist organization ISIS is increasing its terrorist acts in Kirkuk, ... a thick stew of Arabs, Turkmen, Kurds, and probably Antarcticans, all of them mutually hostile most of the time... Khanaqin, Diyala, Salahaddin, Anbar and western djinn-infested Mosul ... the home of a particularly ferocious and hairy djinn... ," deputy Peshmerga minister Sarbast Lazgin said earlier this month.
In the latest edition of its weekly propaganda newspaper al-Naba, ISIS claimed it had conducted 14 attacks across Iraq between July 22 and 28, killing and injuring 17 people.

[Rudaw] Nineteen Albanian nationals linked to the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... (ISIS) were repatriated on Saturday from Kurdish-controlled camps in northeastern Syria (Rojava).
"The Albanian government seeks not to leave its children homeless outside their country. We will work until the last child is retrieved so that we can return them to their country and rehabilitate them to lead a decent life because they are innocent and they do not know where they are going," Mark Gharib, the Albanian ambassador to Syria, Leb ...an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozeen flavors of Christians. It is the home of Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers, a practice dating back to the heady human sacrifice days of Baal Moloch. In 2020 Hezbollahblew up a considerable portion of Beirut and many of its inhabitants when its ammonium nitrate faci8lity exploded. They blamed it on... somebody else. It wasn't them though. Trust them on that... and Jordan said in a presser covered by Hawar News Agency, affiliated with Kurdish authorities in Rojava.
Five women and 14 children linked to ISIS were handed over back to the Albanian government on Saturday, the agency reported.
This is the second repatriation by the Albanian government. In October 2020, the country repatriated a woman and four children.
The radicalization of thousands of children in Rojava camps has been a constant cause of concern. "It will be a military problem in a few years if we don’t fix the non-military aspects of it now," commander of US Central Command (CENTCOM) General Kenneth McKenzie said late April.
Kosovo repatriated a number of its ISIS-affiliated nationals from Rojava camps, the Ministry of Interior announced earlier this month. Finland also repatriated about 30 of its nationals in July.
Al-Hol and Roj camps together hold more than 60,000 people.
According to Finland, there are still nearly 900 European citizens — 600 children and 300 women — in Rojava’s camps, including several Finns.
Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and Interior Minister Bledi Cuci were in Beirut meeting with Lebanese General Security chief Maj. Gen. Abass Ibrahim, who has played a key role in the repatriating efforts, together with intelligence services from other countries.
Rama said that Albania's Interior Ministry and other intelligence institutions are closely cooperating with Lebanese authorities and countries on the repatriation. He did not specify if the women's husbands were alive or dead or if any of the women will face terrorism charges upon their return.
"Up to the last Albanian, we shall do our utmost to turn them back to their homeland," he said.
This is the third effort repatriating Albanians from the fighting territories in Syria. In October last year, five Albanians were repatriated and an Albanian child was repatriated a year earlier.
A few hundred Albanian men joined the Islamic State and other groups fighting in Syria and Iraq in the early 2010s. Many were killed, and their wives and children are stuck in Syrian camps.
Relatives in Albania say about 30 other Albanian children and women are in the Syrian camps. But Rama doubted that could be the exact number, "because the information is updated daily."
[Rudaw] A total of 18 missiles have been seized by Baghdad Operations Command as part of measures taken to prevent attacks on the Green Zone, diplomatic missions, and the capital city’s airport, its head told state media.
"These measures resulted in foiling three attempts to target Baghdad Airport from nearby areas," Baghdad Operations Commander Ahmed Salim said on Saturday.
"The security forces in the Second Division of the Federal Police associated with the Baghdad Operations Command managed to seize 10 Grand missiles more than two weeks ago. Before that, it seized eight Katyusha-type missiles that were intended to target the international airport," he added.
Attacks on US forces have increased following the US liquidation of Iranian general Qasem Soleimani in Baghdad in January 2020, leading to a non-binding parliamentary resolution to expel all foreign troops from the country.
There have been at least 25 reported rocket and drone attacks on bases and facilities housing American forces and personnel in Iraq this year, according to data compiled by Rudaw English. Two rockets were fired at the Green Zone on Thursday.
These attacks are blamed on Iranian-backed Iraqi militias that want to force American troops to withdraw from the country.

[WarNews247 Greece] And officially, the U.S. has admitted through top General John Hyten

that they are leaving the Middle East to focus on Russia and China.

The American General said what had been a common secret for a long time. The Asia-Pacific region and China are now the priority.
"The U.S. military suffered a crushing defeat during a classified combat exercise. The exercise revealed vulnerabilities that the Pentagon is trying to fix if it ever confronts a sophisticated enemy like China," said the Deputy Chief of the U.S. Army General Staff.
"Without overestimating the issue, there was a complete failure," Gen. John Hyten said of the combat plan during the October exercise, which he described in detail at the Emerging Technologies Institute in Washington.
The biggest problem arose when the communication networks were attacked.

The biggest problem arose when the communication networks were attacked.
Yeah, happens when you devolve into the old Russian 'mother may I' command system. Disrupt the communications and they all stand around waiting new orders meanwhile the people above are frozen cause they don't have info coming in (can't get he Powerpoint slides together for a decision). Micromanagement doesn't work well in chaos.

And officially, the U.S. has admitted through top General John Hyten that they are leaving the Middle East to focus on Russia and China.
It was preceded by a simulated war with China over Taiwan in which Us forces suffered a crushing defeat.
"We cannot ignore threats in the Middle East. But now we're going to deal with them in another way.
You see it in Afghanistan, Iraq.
With a smaller "footprint" to deal with threats from Russia and China," said General John Hyten who spoke of reordering forces.
During the exercise, a Pentagon "red team" playing our hostile role surrounded us, Hyten said.
The result was that the "blue team" lost access to its networks almost immediately."
A key lesson: the concentration of ships, aircraft and other forces made them "sitting ducks".
The Pentagon did not release the code name of the combat exercise, which was classified, but a military official said one of the scenarios revolved around a battle for Taiwan.
Unlike the conflicts of the past 30 years, dating back to the first Gulf War, when the US military had "information sovereignty," american power found itself in a difficult position from the outset during the October war scenario.
"Well, what if from the beginning this information is not available? And that's the big problem we faced," hyten said.
Now, the Army is being upgraded with the new "Expanded Maneuver" strategy that seeks to change the way it fights for the next decade.
"Part of the plan requires a common Command and Control System of all areas, which will connect information to a fully connected 'combat cloud' to which commanders can access at any time to make quick decisions on the battlefield," Hyten said.
"If the "battle cloud" is cut off from an enemy, there must be plans so that leaders can operate in a more decentralized environment," he said.
Other aspects of the new idea concern "questionable accounting support", which the US has not faced since they tried to bring forces to Europe and the Pacific during World War II.
"Questionable accounting support is an area of rich study, rich debate. We're changing the whole accounting support approach,"he said.
"One way in which the military could crush a sophisticated adversary is to enhance its ability to launch precision strikes from all sectors at once - Air Force, Land Forces, Navy, Space and Cyberspace - so a hostile force doesn't know where to defend itself," Hyten said.
"In this way, the equation will change in any future battle."
Against an enemy that can also strike targets accurately, the U.S. military must be able to gather and launch massive fire under a single command structure that has moved away from the threat of attack.
"You're separated to survive," Hyten said.
"The stakes are high, as the LEAD of the U.S. military from China "shrinks rapidly".
"To prevent war is to be prepared for war,"Hyten said.

^ I think the moslems will let the west do to itself what it's doing perfectly well without interruptions. An attack or slew of small attacks by islamics would only unite the polity and people and that would be good for America.
No, if they're wise they'll just wait for the wakandans and Left to finish what they've started.

Yes I forgot. Rationality and moslemnity are inversely related. But if they are being advised and supervised by master strategists, the ones also advising and supervising the dismantling of America?

Who are these evil geniuses? I think the current USA troubles (and remember, Rome lasted for hundreds of years after it stopped being a republic) so it doesn't mean the end, are due to stupidity, not evil geniuses.
[IsraelTimes] Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. At least six other troops were maimed in the attack in the town of Sheikh Zuweid and taken to a military hospital in the Mediterranean city of el-Arish, they said.
Security personnel killed three holy warriors in the firefight, and the area was reinforced, the officials added, speaking on condition of anonymity ... for fear of being murdered... because they were not authorized to brief the media.
Egypt has been battling jihadists in the northern part of the Sinai Peninsula for years. The holy warriors have carried out numerous attacks, mainly targeting security forces, minority Christians, and those who they accuse of collaborating with the military and police.
The pace of IS attacks in Sinai’s main theater and elsewhere has slowed to a trickle since February 2018, when the military launched a massive operation in Sinai, as well as parts of the Nile Delta and deserts along the country’s western border with Libya.

The TV network said Abdallah Arar, a Hamas man released from Israeli prison in the 2011 exchange for the release of kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit, had contacted some 60 West Bank Paleostinians over the past six months to try to recruit them to carry out attacks.
The report said Arar contacted individuals online, on social media ad on the phone, and had managed to recruit several people to Hamas in recent months. It said Arar was seen as particularly talented at recruitment, and that he often provides the people he enlists with detailed instructions on how to find targets for attacks and build bombs.
Even with detailed instruction, making a bomb that only explodes exactly when you want it to is hard. And so for the most part, bomb makers are a self-repairing problem — only a few survive long enough to become productive members of their guild.

[IsraelTimes] July hacking of national rail in Islamic Theocratic Republic also saw hackers publish phone number of supreme leader’s office.
Israel believes Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. They hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... carried out the deadly attack on the oil tanker MT Mercer Street in response to a recent cyber attack supposedly carried out by Israel, according to a report Saturday.
The cyberattack in early July caused chaos in the Islamic Theocratic Republic’s train system as hackers posted fake messages about alleged train delays or cancellations on display boards at stations across the country. They also urged passengers to call for information, while listing the phone number of the office of the country’s Lord High Potentate and Supreme Leader of All He Surveys Ayatollah Ali Khamenei ...the very aged actual dictator of Iran, successor to Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini... A Channel 13 news report, which did not cite its sources, claimed Israel assesses Iran was directly responding to those actions.
The report further said Iran was also hoping to raise insurance costs for ships with ties to Israel.
On Friday, state-owned Iranian news network al-Alam, citing "well-informed sources," said the attack was in response to a reported Israeli strike in Syria that it said killed "two resistance men" last week.
Iran has not officially taken responsibility for the attack.
Two ship crewmen, a British and Romanian national, died in Thursday night’s attack off the coast of Oman on the oil tanker Mercer Street, a ship operated by Zodiac Maritime, a London-based company belonging to Israeli tycoon Eyal Ofer.
Israeli and American officials have said it was apparently carried out by suicide drones that hit the ship.
Analysts said the attack bore all the hallmarks of tit-for-tat exchanges in the shadow war between Israel and Iran, in which vessels linked to each nation have been targeted in waters around the Gulf.
[israelTimes] Israel is considering various options to retaliate against Iran over its strike on an oil tanker — operated by an Israeli-owned company — that killed two, according to Israeli television.
According to Channel 12, Israel has handed over intelligence materials proving that Iran was behind the strike to the United States and Britannia.
Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, Defense Minister Benny Gantz and IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kohavi met over the weekend and discussed various plans to retaliate, according to the unsourced television report, which also says that Washington and London are also weighing a response.

Was it the Juice or was it home-grown Iranian script kiddies and hackers? It all seems a bit prankish for the IDF.
Nonetheless, expect the next two weeks to be filled with stories of explosions, random fires and other infrastructure failures through the Islamic Republic.

In a statement released on Friday, the European Council, the EU's agenda-setting body, said the framework provides for the possibility of imposing sanctions against individuals and entities that it deems responsible for "undermining democracy or the rule of law in Lebanon."
The sanctions consist of a travel ban to the EU as well as an asset freeze for persons and entities, the statement read, adding that EU persons and entities are forbidden from making funds available to those listed.
The sanctions regime sets out three criteria under which people may be targeted by the 27-nation bloc, including the obstruction of the democratic political process in Lebanon, the undermining of reforms in governance and the financial sector, and serious financial misconduct concerning public funds.
"Despite repeated calls on Lebanese political forces and stakeholders to act in the national interest and to no longer delay the formation of a fully empowered government capable of meeting the country’s urgent needs and implementing critical reforms, there is no progress. Meanwhile, ...back at the shootout, Butch clutched at his shoulder. Ow! he exclaimed, with feeling...... the economic, social and humanitarian situation in Lebanon continues to tank and the people continue to suffer," the statement read.
"It is, however, of the utmost importance that the Lebanese leadership put aside their differences and work together to form a government and enact the measures required to steer the country towards a sustainable recovery."
The EU diplomats have said targets are not likely to be decided before the end of the summer.
Earlier this month, the EU had said that the bans would not be immediately implemented.

[FoxNews] The US Marine Security Augmentation Unit has completed 107 deployments
The U.S. Marine Security Augmentation Unit has deployed twice in the past 30 days to support and protect embassies in Africa and the Caribbean.
The quick reaction force consists of 145 Marines who can deploy in small teams at a moment’s notice from Quantico, Virginia to anywhere in the world – including a small African nation like Eswatini.
The Kingdom of Eswatini was called the Kingdom of Swaziland until 2018. Nothing else has changed — the population is still 80-90% Christian, 26% HIV positive, the elected legislature is bicameral, and the absolute monarch still picks the prettiest maiden each year to add to his collection of wives, assuming his mother approves.
A team of 13 Marines deployed to Eswatini on June 30 as thousands of protesters took to the streets to decry their King Mswati III, who lives in luxury as his citizens starve.
Another team saw deployment on July 16 in the aftermath of the assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moïse to support the U.S. Embassy "out of an abundance of caution."
These two missions marked the 106th and 107th missions for the MSAU since the group was founded in 2013, Task and Purpose reported.
The MSAU was founded in the aftermath of the 2012 attack on Benghazi, which left a U.S. Ambassador and three other Americans dead. The members bring a variety of occupational experience and specialties, including medical, close quarters combat, marksmanship, security analysis and augmentation, creating one of the most experienced and elite security details on the planet.
The corps mainly deploys via air, but also includes sea-based units and land-based Special Purpose Air-Ground task forces.
The MSAU also deployed on such notable occasions as the Bangkok protests in 2013-14 and the Yellow Vest protests in Paris in 2017.
One of the largest MSAU deployments saw 80 Marines deployed to Tripoli to help evacuate the U.S. embassy, the Marine Corps Times reported.
"Our Marine Security Guard Augmentation Units maintain a high state of readiness and can rapidly respond when called upon," said U.S. Central Command spokesman Maj. Josh Jacques said.
[Townhall] The White House on Friday called out both The Washington Post and The New York Times for reports regarding the rates at which vaccinated individuals can become infected with the coronavirus. Deadly coronavirus. Don't forget the "Deadly" part. White House Deputy Director of Strategic Communications and Engagement Ben Wakana, who also serves on the COVID-19 Rapid Lies Response Team, called out the two news outlets' on Twitter for their reporting.
The Washington Post's report cited a CDC study that highlighted a "massive" outbreak in the state of Massachusetts among vaccinated residents. That'd seem to run counter to Joe's 'vaccinate everybody' theme.
Wakana then responded to a tweet from The New York Times that claimed the new delta variant spreads equally among vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. Perhaps overemphasizing the deadliness of the Deadly Delta Derivative.

[Iran Press TV] Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... 's Armed Forces have given the details of a recent counterterrorism operation which led to the liberation of two more districts from the grips of Takfiri ...an adherent of takfir wal hijra, an offshoot of Salafism that regards everybody who doesn't agree with them as apostates who must be killed... murderous Moslems in the province of Bayda.
In a statement on Saturday, the front man for Yemen's Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, elaborated on the second phase of Operation al-Nasr al-Mubin (Clear Victory), which commenced on July 20 and lasted for several days, Yemen's al-Masirah television network reported.
The operation led to the total liberation of the districts of Nu'man and Nata'e.
The front man said an estimated area of %u200B%u200B380 square kilometers was liberated.
Saree also said 160 bad boyz were potted. Dozens surrendered to the advancing Yemeni forces.
Saree noted that the total liberated area amounted to 500 square kilometers, and that the losses of the Takfiri groups during the two phases amounted to 510 dead and 760 maimed.
The front man also stressed that Takfiri murderous Moslems received support and backing from the Saudi-led military coalition before, during and after the operation.
He added that the invading coalition provides al-Qaeda and ISISmurderous Moslems in Yemen with medium and heavy weapons and ammunition, giving them full facilities to reach and station in areas in the said province.
During the second phase of the operation, he said, the Saudi-led coalition conducted at least 67 raids against Yemeni forces.
On July 13, the Yemeni army, allied with fighters of the Popular Committees, announced that it had launched the first phase of Operation al-Nasr al-Mubin.
[ColonelCassad] A fresh video from the Houthis drove up with a bend of Saudi mercenaries and Hadists in the Al-Bayda province (not so long ago, ISIS was piling up there).
The videos presented clearly demonstrate what it means to run away in an open area under heavy fire from machine guns from machine guns.
At the end, it is shown how some of them surrender to the Houthis and receive medical assistance. As a result of the fighting, the interventionists lost several dozen people in killed, wounded and prisoners, plus about 10-12 carts and armored combat vehicles.
Adds Rozhin:
It is worth noting that today the Saudi coalition condemned the Houthi UAV attack on a Saudi commercial vessel. The attack, according to the Saudis, was unsuccessful and deserves all condemnation.
Also, several pro-Saudi sources hint that an Israeli ship attacked by a UAV (1 crew member from Romania and a British PMC was killed) could also have been attacked by a Houthi UAV.
An anonymous American official also said that the United States is inclined to believe that the Houthis could be behind the attack on the Israeli ship. The Saudis also said that their fighters were able to shoot down a UAV that flew into Saudi Arabia from Yemen.

[AlAhram] The United States on Friday seized a Singapore-owned oil tanker that was used to make illegal oil deliveries to North Korea ...hereditary Communist monarchy distinguished by its truculence and periodic acts of violence. Distinguishing features include Songun (Army First) policy, which involves feeding the army before anyone but the Dear Leadership, and Juche, which is Kim Jong Il's personal interpretation of Marxism-Leninism, which he told everybody was brilliant. In 1950 the industrialized North invaded agrarian South Korea. Twenty-one countries of the United Nations eventually contributed to the UN force opposing the invasion, with the United States providing around 90% of the military personnel. Seventy years later the economic results are in and it doesn't look good for Juche... , the Justice Department said.
A New York federal judge issued a judgment of forfeiture authorizing the United States to take ownership of the M/T Courageous, which is currently in Cambodia.
The ship, which has a capacity of 2,734 tons, was purchased by Singaporean national Kwek Kee Seng, who remains on the lam, according to a Justice Department statement.
"Kwek and his co-conspirators engaged in an extensive scheme to evade... US and UN sanctions by using vessels under their control to covertly transport fuel to North Korea," the statement said.
From August to December 2019, the Courageous would illegally stop transmitting its location information. Satellite imagery showed that during that time, the tanker engaged in ship-to-ship transfers of more than $1.5 million worth of oil to a North Korean ship.
The Department has accused Kwek of trying to hide the scheme by using shell companies, lying to international shipping authorities and falsely identifying the Courageous to avoid detection.
Kwek has been charged with conspiracy to evade economic sanctions on North Korea and money laundering conspiracy.
Cambodian authorities seized the tanker in March 2020 on a US warrant and have held the Courageous there since.
The US attorney's office for the southern district of New York filed a civil forfeiture action against the tanker on April 23.
Relations between Washington and Pyongyang are strained, with North Korea's foreign minister in June ruling out any talks with the United States, saying such dialogue would "get us nowhere."
Negotiations between the two countries have long been stalled over the international sanctions imposed on the nuclear-armed state and what North Korea should give up in return for their lifting.
[AMGREATNESS] During a status hearing Friday afternoon for Timothy Hale-Cusanelli, an Army reservist arrested on January 15 for his involvement in the January 6 protest in Washington, D.C., an assistant U.S. attorney admitted the government will not meet its discovery obligations for all Capitol defendants until early 2022. While they're taking their time doing that they'll be offering plea bargains, which means they won't need a show trial. Kathyrn Fifield, the lead attorney representing the Justice Department, informed Judge Trevor McFadden that the "incalculable" volume of video collected by the government related to the Capitol breach investigation will prevent defendants and their lawyers from accessing the full body of evidence against them for several more months. "No system exists to wrap its arms around [all this evidence]," Fifield told McFadden. This includes at least 14,000 hours of surveillance video plus thousands of hours of body-worn camera footage from law enforcement. ... which couldn't possibly be released piecemeal...
Fifield resisted setting a 2021 trial date for Hale; McFadden and Jonathan Crisp, Hale's court-appointed attorney, told the government last month that unless a plea arrangement was agreed upon, a trial would be set for later this year because Hale already has been incarcerated for more than six months. Sixth Amendment:
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.
"If we do set a trial date, the government cannot meet discovery obligations until early 2022. That's a conservative estimate," Fifield said. So that means they'll be unable to prosecute, right?
Despite arresting more than 550 people since January 6, the government still has no platform for posting, sharing, and transferring digital evidence. "Ineptitude on your part imposes no obligation on me." I dunno who said that. Maybe it was me.
"Due to the extraordinary nature of the January 6, 2021 Capitol Attack, the government anticipates that a large volume of materials may contain information relevant to this prosecution," Fifield wrote in a July 14 filing. "These materials may include, but are not limited to, surveillance video, statements of similarly situated defendants, forensic searches of electronic devices and social media accounts of similarly situated defendants, and citizen tips. The government is working to develop a system that will facilitate access to these materials." Then again, it might not contain any evidence at all. Maybe it would be best to free the political prisoners, review the evidence, and then bring any charges warranted during the statute if limitations.
At one point, the Justice Department was sharing digital evidence on Blu Ray discs. Rather than posting it digitally, where they have it stored (and it can be manipulated.).
Earlier this month, the department signed a multi-million dollar contract with Deloitte to create a "massive database" of evidence. Rantburg maintains a library of 9380 images -- mostly the graphix that appear in the articles. They're accessed through a database, only a single table that contains the relevant information. My last job, before I retired, was a mouse genealogy database. Before that was personal effects of killed and wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan (and other places), again, thousands of items accessed through a single table. There were lots of other tables, but they had to do with shipping information and the victims' demographics, next of kin, case officers, that sort of thing. The prosecution could give me millions of dollars and I'd be happy to help 'em out. Probably take me a couple weeks.
But that process will take several weeks if not months.
"The still-incomplete database has sharply slowed down efforts by prosecutors and defense attorneys to hammer out plea deals for dozens, of not hundreds, of alleged rioters," Politico reported on July 9. "Several defendants have sought quick resolution of their cases only to be told by prosecutors that they must wait until the database is established." Two weeks, three if I have to go to meetings.
Despite the lack of evidence against him, Hale has been behind bars since January. He is not charged with any violent mostly peaceful crimes but the Justice Department repeatedly—and successfully—has sought his pre-trial detention. (McFadden denied Hale's release in March.) Good thing he doesn't have a better lawyer. They'd have him committed to a psych hospital. Then they could appoint a conservator with power of attorney, who could accept a fifteen year plea bargain.
An informant wore a wire to record a conversation with Hale about a "civil war" and military Sherlocks interrogated nearly four dozen of Hale's co-workers about his alleged "white supremacist" views. (My column explaining the case here.) We're in the midst of a "civil war" right now. Hale should be asserting rights under the Geneva convention. But since he was unarmed and didn't belong to an organized militia, he has to be regarded as a civilian.
Hale was transported to at least five different prisons before arriving in early February at the D.C. jail specifically used to detain January 6 political prisoners defendants. More than three dozen January 6 detainees are incarcerated at the D.C. Correctional Treatment Facility awaiting trial or plea offers. They’re hoping for plea bargains.
On July 7, the D.C. Circuit Court denied Hale's appeal seeking release.
McFadden scolded the government for its backwards process. "You would not arrest [someone] then gather evidence later. That's not how this works."
When Fifield said full discovery is in the best interest of the defendant, McFadden shot back: "Freedom also is important to the defendant."
The Trump-appointed judge raised concerns over Sixth Amendment violations. "This does not feel what the Constitution [and] the Speedy Trial Act envisions." It's what it's supposed to protect against.
Despite the government's confession that it is not prepared to make its case against Hale, McFadden set a trial date of November 9, 2021. (He did not release Hale, who has no criminal record, from prison.)
"No January Sixer should be made to suffer in a jail cell while the DOJ continues to delay discovery simply because it can," one defense attorney told me by text this afternoon. "This is unprecedented, unreasonable, unconstitutional, and wrong."
What if thousands went and camped outside the prison, protesting the illegal confinement and fascist actions of the establishment? What if conservative America could protest together to the tune of 'Not Our President, Not our Congress' until its apparent the majority couldn't have elected these bastitches.
It's hard to even imagine I know, but the very freedoms people have died to protect are at stake.

Meanwhile, in other jurisdictions antifas who attack cops are "quickly released without bail". This is disgraceful.
The folks who are supposed to be keeping an eye on this kind of thing -- aside from the judge and the DOJ supervisors -- are the DOJ's Office of Professional Responsibility, here, which is kind of an internal affairs unit for DOJ attorneys.

[NYPOST] Rep. Cori Bush ...a member of the progressive Squad. Born in St. Louis, Bush represents Missouri's 1st congressional district that includes all of the city of St. Louis and a large part of northern St. Louis County. Cori sez America is Racist AF... (D-Mo.) said Friday night that she would sleep outside the US Capitol in an effort to persuade Congress to extend the nationwide moratorium on evictions set to expire Saturday."Many of my fellow wardheelers chose to go on vacation early today rather than staying to vote to keep people in their homes," Bush tweeted. "I’ll be sleeping outside the Capitol tonight. We’ve still got work to do."
How very dramatic of her. Enjoy the moquitos and the muggers, my dear.
Bush, 45, who experienced a period of homelessness nearly two decades ago, sent a letter to her colleagues earlier Friday calling on them to stay in Washington DC a little longer before starting their August recess to pass an extension to the moratorium.
"I’m urging you to please hear me out on this issue because as a formerly unhoused Congresswoman, I have been evicted three times myself," she wrote. "I know what it’s like to be forced to live in my car with my two children. Now that I am a member of Congress, I refuse to stand by while millions of people are vulnerable to experiencing that same trauma that I did."
In a separate letter later Friday, Bush invited her colleagues to join her "in solidarity" outside the Capitol.
"[W]e must reconvene to protect people from violent mostly peaceful evictions during an deadly pandemic ...," she said. "We need to get this done, and we must not let up."
While some supporters praised Bush for the campout on Twitter, others called the congresswoman out for what they saw as a publicity stunt.

Tunisian security forces placed a judge, accused by human rights groups of being close to extremists and hiding terrorism-related files, under house arrest for 40 days, local Radio Mosaique FM says.https://t.co/NJgAOk7CAc
The decision against Judge Bechir Akremi came after President Kais Saied pledged to lead a campaign against rampant corruption in all sectors to save the country, following his dismissal of the prime minister and freezing of parliament.
Tunisia’s judiciary has opened an investigation into four members of the Islamist Ennahda party over violence outside parliament after the president announced emergency measures, TAP news agency says.
Among them is the bodyguard of Rached Ghannouchi, leader of Ennahda and Parliament Speaker, TAP said.
Ennahda described President Kais Saied’s announcement on Sunday as a coup and held a sit-in outside parliament early on Monday in which party members and supporters of the president pelted each other with stones and bottles.

[Garowe] Four local footballers in Somalia were killed when a kaboom believed to have been caused by a bomb destroyed their bus on Friday, police, and witnesses said.
Ten players from the Jubaland Chamber of Commerce and Industry club were heading off for a game at the Kismayo ...a port city in the southern Lower Juba province of Somalia, at the extreme southern end of the country (always assuming Somalia can be called a country). It is the commercial capital of the autonomous Jubaland region.... city stadium in southern Somalia when the blast hit.
"The players were riding in a bus when the earth-shattering kaboom went off, presumably inside the vehicle. There are investigations going on but we presume the device was planted onto the bus," said police officer Mohammed Sadiq.
He said four football players were killed and five others maimed.
"The blast was huge and it caused a devastating fire which burned down the bus, people rushed to remove the dead bodies and maimed players," said witness Ibrahim Ahmed.
"I saw the burning bus and three dead bodies of the players -- this was horrible because football players are not politicians," added another witness, Said Adan.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the blast in Kismayo, capital of the southern state of Jubaland which borders Kenya.
Jubaland was the first state to start voting this week in long-delayed national elections in Somalia that the al-Qaeda-linked al-Shabaab ...... an Islamic infestation centering on Somalia attempting to metastasize into Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and similar places, all ofwhich have enough problems without them... jihadist group has threatened to disrupt.
#Jordan will temporarily close the Jaber border crossing with #Syria for the movement of goods and passengers “as a result of developments in the security situation on the Syrian side,” says state news agency Petra.https://t.co/rKmRtUefsk
[Townhall] Comedian and HBO host Bill Maher is at it again, tossing truth bombs on his Friday night "Real Time" segments and ticking off the woke left in the process. This time, however, the intensity seems to have ticked up a notch, with lefties all over Twitter demanding that Maher himself be canceled for his latest mockery of cancel culture.
Here's the offending segment, which primarily dealt with what Maher called the "woke Olympics." Just try to keep yourself from literally shaking while watching it. Seven-minute video at link. "Why do we allow the people who just want to bitch to always win?" he asked before citing more examples, including a musical director who was fired after a 1994 interview surfaced in which he admitted to bullying his classmates as a kid. "This is called a purge. It’s a mentality that belongs in Stalin’s Russia. How bad does this atmosphere we’re living in have to get before the people who say cancel culture is overblown admit that it is in fact an insanity that is swallowing up the world?"
"And that is not a conservative position, my friends," he said later in the segment. "My politics have not changed, but I am reacting to politics that have, and this is yet another example of how the woke invert the very thing that used to make liberals liberals. Snitches and bitches, that's not being liberal." Boring liberal complainers - bitches and snitches - at the link.
[Piers Morgan tweets] Best 7 minutes of television this year. Thank you, Mr Maher, for being an ongoing voice of liberal reason in this increasingly insane illiberal woke world.

I had this discussion with a friend the other day. I suspect there are people of whatever proclivity (and I'm sure that label will offend someone) who are too busy being happy to give a care about the culture wars. OTOH, there are people who are chronic complainers or perpetually angry. How many of those do you think took up a woke-approved lifestyle label because they saw it as a license to indulge their non-stop unhappiness with everything except themselves?

[AlAhram] Rwandan troops have joined Mozambican forces to launch a major offensive against Islamic rebels in northern Mozambique as more troops arrive from South Africa and other neighboring countries to battle the insurgency.
Less than two weeks after landing in Mozambique, the 1,000 soldiers from Rwanda fought alongside Mozambican troops to regain control of Awasse, a strategic town in northern Cabo Delgado province, according to the Mozambican government.
"We have attacked and re-occupied the enemy position at Awasse," President Filipe Nyusi said in a broadcast to the nation earlier this week. He said three other towns also were retaken from the rebels.
The new offensive is seen as a drive to regain control of Mocimboa da Praia, the Indian Ocean port that the rebels have held for nearly a year.
The joint forces have also been fighting the rebels in Palma and appear to be trying to secure the nearby Afungi peninsula where the French firm Total was forced to stop operations in its $20 billion liquified natural gas project, according to Cabo Ligado, a newsletter about the Death Eater violence.
Rwanda’s forces killed 14 Death Eaters, that country’s army front man announced Thursday. Mozambican media report that both sides have suffered casualties.
The campaign against the rebels will be further supported by troops arriving from South Africa, leading the contingent being sent by the 16-nation Southern African Development Community to assist Mozambique.
South Africa, the regional powerhouse, will send about 1,500 troops at a cost of nearly 1 billion rand ($68 million), President Cyril Ramaphosa informed parliament this week. A South African general is to lead the regional force.
Zim-bob-we announced Thursday that it will deploy 300 soldiers as trainers and advisers, and Botswana sent 300 troops to Mozambique earlier this week. Angola and Botswana have also announced they are sending forces.
The countries of southern Africa are giving military support to Mozambique to try to prevent the Death Eater rebels from expanding their foothold in the region.
Since its start in 2017, the insurgency has been blamed for more than 3,000 deaths, according to the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data project. The rebels, allied to the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... group, have beheaded scores of people and imposed Shariah law in areas they have seized. More than 800,000 people have been displaced by the conflict and nearly 1 million people need food aid, according to the U.N. World Food Program.
The U.S. has sent 12 special forces officers to help train Mozambique’s military, and the European Union ...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing... is to send a military training mission to build on a training program provided by Portugal, according to a recent report by Cabo Ligado, a project led by ACLED to research the conflict.
[OneIndia] There have been a spate of killings in Jammu and Kashmir ...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there.... and if one were to see the trend, the gunnies are attacking soft targets. There has been a sustained effort to create a fear in the minds of the people ever since the abrogation of Article 370 in J&K.
The National Investigation Agency in its latest report had said that the killing of the Parihar brothers was a clear attempt to revive terrorism in the Chenab Valley. While the forces have attained a great deal of success in neutralising terrorists, attempts are still on to revive terror on a much larger scale in the Union Territory.

Manchin is one of the approximately one Dem senators who exhibits more integrity than Jello, often even representing his constituents... (D-WV) was reportedly booed Thursday by Democrat Senators for raising concerns about the expense of the $3.5 trillion "infrastructure" price tag.
"One source described the West Virginian as being ’jokingly booed’ by the other senators, but another source in the room did not see it that way," Politico Playbook reported. "Tensions are torquing up among Democrats over the reconciliation bill — or, more precisely, over its proposed $3.5 trillion price tag."
"Manchin views the growing national debt as a heavy burden that will drag down the economy, threaten national security and impose a heavy burden on future generations — fairly typical budget-hawk beliefs," Playbook continued. "Does Manchin’s position — and that he was bringing it up at a meeting of his fellow Senate Dems — mean that we’re in store for even more haggling over the price tag of the reconciliation bill? Stay tuned."
At present, the interest on US Treasury bonds is more than 1 point, and the annual interest payment is about $300 billion US dollars, which is considered to be affordable. But if inflation approaches 5% or even exceeds 5% (interest rates will definitely follow after inflation exceeds 5), then the United States will need $1.5 trillion a year to repay the interest of 30 trillion federal treasury bonds

[The Last Refuge] David Plouffe is the former campaign manager for Barack Obama, a senior advisor to all current politicians who are connected to that Obama network, and a senior strategist of influence in the entire network of people pulling the strings of puppet and avatar for Obama’s third-term, Joe Biden.
Plouffe is paid and funded by the corporate system, private companies and allies within the multinational sector, for his leverage and influence within the entire political apparatus. Today Plouffe is signaling his political allies [Tweet Here], those actual foot-soldiers who corrupted the 2020 election, they will have to re-double their efforts in 2022 if they are going to pull-off another election construct similar to the fraud they executed in 2020.
So quadruple the effort they put forth in 2016, in the hope of not losing their bare majority in the House and half the seats in the Senate? At the same time as many of the Republican states have tightened up their procedures to prevent shenanigans? Fascinating.
Plouffe is the kind of person who would select the 7 key urban areas that needed the specific targeting for local election fraud: Atlanta (GA), Phoenix (AZ), Detroit (MI), Clark County (NV), Philadelphia (PA), Madison (Wisc), etc. Plouffe plots the map and turns it over to folks like Bob Creamer (see Project Veritas expose’).
As a consequence of the transparent voter fraud, some states have taken defensive action against the mail-in ballot scheme; others are still trying. The DOJ (Garland) is attempting to block those voter integrity measures. The institutional network (government and media) is pushing the Delta Variant (mid-term variant) to keep the 2020 deployed gateway open for 2022. David Plouffe is signaling the crew to be prepared to go even one-step further in 2022.

[news.com.au] People who claim they were cured of coronavirus by hydroxychloroquine have come forward in support of doctors who have been "attacked" for saying the controversial drug works.
Dr Stella Immanuel, one of the doctors who went viral for saying she’d cured COVID-19, took to Twitter to ask for people’s help, with friends and family of survivors also coming forward.
"We are being attacked, ridiculed and discredited," she said.
"We need our patients to SPEAK UP. If you have been cured by this drug, share your story online using this hashtag. #HCQWorks."
The Houston GP said she had successfully treated more than 350 coronavirus patients with hydroxychloroquine, zinc and Zithromax, an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections.
Hydroxychloroquine is used for treatment of malaria and certain auto-immune diseases but doctors have claimed it works for COVID-19.
It’s also gained the support of President Donald Trump and other politicians.
In Australia its use for treatment of COVID-19 is considered "off-label".
"There is currently no clear data to inform clinical guidance on the use, dosing, or duration for COVID-19 treatment," the Therapeutic Goods Administration says.

Well over 30 years they have waged a war on cancer. The common cold a similar effort but not nearly so expensive but now money is being thrown at that big time. People have found solutions and by word of mouth the information is passed. A medical doctor can only recommend FDA approved medical treatments. I recall a patient asked about vitamin E for her bruising. His response was I cannot recommend that then opens his desk draw but I take them. So each person must choose their own path. Media is so corrupted these days I prefer on the ground day to day person to person input of information. There are many different personalities. Some are sheep some are rams. I maintain a balance, a steady state. I trust my own judgement at this time being the most reliable. Absolutely no fear.

A small group of Metro-Atlanta Fire Fighter / EMS / Hazmat severely infected with C-19 back in early May or June of 2020, were offered to be a part of a small test group of C-19 infected 1st responders.
They were given some "Test Drug" after signing a bunch of wavier pages.
According one of the participants that I know. He told me he was feeling better on the 2nd day. Clear headed and doing light work in the yard on day 5.
He was back at work after being bored and sitting on his butt for the mandatory 2 weeks.
So it seems we are not getting the FULL facts of viable Treatments options?
Why so?
I doubt we will ever know and that is the fallacy of having a Government and the Main Stream & Social Media managing "acceptable" public Info for Political reasons, agendas and raking in $$$$$ while doing it.
But, the Internet is steadily leaking the truth and is being found trusted by more citizens everyday, than what should be the Official and Trusted sources.

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Rached Ghannouchi, the 80-year-old leader of turmoil-wracked Tunisia’s Islamist-inspired party Ennahdha, suddenly became unwell Saturday while working punishing hours but it was not serious, an aide said.
Since President Kais Saied seized power in Tunisia on Sunday, Ghannouchi has been working 16 hours to 18 hours per day, aide Ahmed Gaaloul said.
Ghannouchi, who is also speaker of parliament and the second most prominent political figure in the country, "was not hospitalised and has nothing serious," Gaaloul said.
Last Sunday, Saied sacked prime minister Hichem Mechichi and suspended parliament for 30 days. He ordered a graft crackdown targeting 460 businessmen and an investigation into alleged illegal funding of political parties, including Ennahdha.
"(Ghannouchi) suffered a little malaise earlier in the day and had to go to a clinic to be examined," Gaaloul added.
"During the check-up, he was told there was nothing serious," the former minister said.
"A doctor prescribed some medication for him and he is now back home," he said. "Mr. Ghannouchi is a little tired at this time."
Ghannouchi, in an interview with AFP, called for a return to democracy and voiced regret at the lack of dialogue with the presidency.
He warned that if no agreement is reached on the formation of a government and the reopening of the legislature, "we will invite the Tunisian people to defend their democracy."
A member in all government coalitions for the last ten years, his party crystallises the discontent of a large section of Tunisians, who hold him as most responsible for the unkept promises from the 2011 revolution.
On Saturday the Tunisian daily La Presse portrayed Ennahdha as a party "abandoned by all or almost," which is "looking at all costs for a solution to emerge from its state of isolation."

[GatewayPundit] Ballots used in Maricopa County in the 2020 primaries indicated the political party affiliation of the individual voter and the voter’s registration number as well. The pair live-tweeted their attempt, along with Louie Gohmert and Paul Gosar, to make contact with prisoners held on charges related to the 6 January attack on the Capitol.
"We absolutely are not trespassing and if that attitude is any indication of how they’re treating their prisoners inside I have great concerns," Ms Greene told media at the facility.

[Iran Press TV] A US politician has described the Biden crime family administration ...knaves, footpads, and adjusters employed by the Biden Crime Family. They leave a trail of havoc everywhere they turn their attention, be it the nation's borders, the Keystone XL Pipeline, or epidemics, sometimes on purpose, most times through sheer arrogant ineptitude. They learnt this stuff in college, you know... ’s plan to evacuate Afghans, who worked with US forces in Afghanistan, a "complete disaster".
The Biden administration decided to grant special visas to Afghan interpreters, drivers, guides, and other locals after US President Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S., father of Hunter... vowed to withdraw American troops from the country.
However, there's more than one way to stuff a chicken... a US politician, who was involved in the congressional process for granting special visas to the Afghan interpreters and their families, said the Department of Defense (DoD) had not fully anticipated the move, describing the DoD’s plan in this regard as a "complete disaster".
"When they finally made the decision of a hasty surrender and withdrawal, they didn’t anticipate some of the unintended consequences or really play out a lot of the details — [visas] among them," according to Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-Wis.).
At a classified briefing with top national security officials on Capitol Hill, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin was asked to detail the US military’s plan to evacuate thousands of Afghan nationals who aided the American invasion and occupation of the country.
Austin didn’t have a plan, according to two people in the room and a military official familiar with the April meeting as cited by Politico.
"We’ll get back to you on that," Austin replied.
Gallagher said Austin's reply showed a lacking plan which has resulted in a "complete disaster".
"This whole thing is just a complete disaster, and it’s not getting better any time soon," Gallagher lamented.
Meanwhile, ...back at the the conspirators' cleverly concealed hideout the long-awaited message arrived. They quickly got to work with their decoder rings... the Biden administration is still seeking to pave the way for the evacuation of some 20,000 interpreters and their families, fearing retribution at the hands of
Talibs after the complete exit of US forces from Afghanistan.
On Friday, 200 Afghans out of an initial group of 2,500 — roughly 700 visa applicants and members of their immediate families — arrived in the US as part of "Operation Allies Refuge".
The others are still in Afghanistan, waiting for exit from Afghanistan and possible entry to the United States.
The process could take years and some 300 interpreters have already died waiting, according to a report.
"These people stood up and fought shoulder and shoulder to [US forces]... and we’re closing our eyes and leaving them there, leaving them to die," said one interpreter who had in the past received the Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) issued by the US State Department.
The Biden administration has asked Congress for one billion dollars of emergency funding to expedite the SIV process for the Afghans.
In the meantime, US military and intelligence sources have warned that the Afghan Talibs have made huge territorial gains and could retake the country within months.

[FoxNews] The aunt of two children, ages 7 and 5, who were found dead in the trunk of a car during a Wednesday traffic stop near Baltimore had been driving around with their deceased bodies for months before she was arrested.
Nicole M. Johnson, 33, faces multiples charges, including neglect and first-degree child abuse that resulted in the death of a child under the age of 13, for the deaths of Joshlyn Johnson, 7, and 5-year-old Larry O’Neil, both siblings.
She was initially pulled over at 11 p.m. by officers from the Baltimore County Police Department's Essex precinct for speeding. The vehicle had fake paper tags from West Virginia and was unregistered and uninsured, Fox affiliate WBFF-TV reported.
As she was being issued a citation, Johnson allegedly told an officer: "It don't matter, I won't be here in five days," and "Y'all going to see me on the news, y'all going to see me on the news making my big debut."
The bodies of the children were found as the car was being prepared to be towed. When Johnson went to the trunk of the car to gather her belongings, an officer smelled "the unmistakable odor of decomposition," according to the news outlet.
When she removed a plastic sheet and trash bag, the officer noticed maggots in the bag and told her to remove the blankets inside the bag, which revealed a suitcase. In the luggage was the body of one of the children.
Johnson attempted to run and was caught a short time later. The other child was found in the plastic bag, authorities said.
One of the children had been in the trunk of the vehicle since May 2020, according to court documents reported by the station.
"This truly was a devastating incident — one that not only shocked our community to its core, but significantly affected our patrol officers, forensic technicians, and detectives," Baltimore County Police Chief Melissa Hyatt said. "I am grateful that the harrowing details of this case were thoroughly and quickly uncovered, resulting in an expeditious closure to this tragedy. I want to commend all of our Baltimore County Police Department members who worked tirelessly throughout this investigation to bring justice to these innocent, young victims."
Investigators are still trying to determine how the children died.
Johnson told Sherlocks she became angry at one of the children in May 2020 and hit her several times, causing the child to fall and hit her head. Her body was placed in the suitcase, authorities said.
She said the other child became injured two months ago and never recovered and died. She put both bodies in the trunk of her car. At the time of their deaths, Joshlyn Johnson weighed 18 pounds and O'Neil weighed 21 pounds. remember: 7 and 5 years old
Nicole Johnson said her sister turned her children over to her because she could not care for them. She had moved with her children from Ohio to Maryland in July 2019, court documents said.
"I’ll never get to see my kids because a mistake I made in trusting my sister I wish I could take it back but I can’t," the mother wrote in a Facebook post, the outlet reported. "I was in the process of getting them back when she just disappeared. I still trusted her and didn’t want to think the worse. This is my blood sister she’s was my family."

Since the first child was stowed in the trunk in May, 2020, the lady was clearly off her rocker before being vaccinated. Sadly, given that children’s mother had handed them over because she could not properly care for them, the children were doomed from birth.

Fred’s irrepressible take on this story from yesterday.
[NYPOST] A Louisiana millionaire admitted to planning the kidnapping of his estranged wife — after his two hired henchmen drowned while trying to evade authorities, botching the plot.
Lawrence Michael Handley pleaded guilty on Monday to two counts of second-degree kidnapping of Schanda Handley and her then-14-year-old daughter and one count of second-degree kidnapping of neighbor Michelle Chaisson in August 2017.
Prosecutors said Handley hired Sylvester Bracey and Arsenio Haynes, both 27, to kidnap Schanda from her Lafayette home on Aug. 6, 2017. That was his first mistake. Well, maybe not his first. Marrying Schanda without a prenup mighta been the first, but there were probabaly some before that.
The two subgeniuses men busted into the home to find an adult neighbor and Schanda's 14-year old daughter inside, who they handcuffed and left inside the house before driving Schanda away in a van, according to Donald Landry, District Attorney for Louisiana's 15th Judicial Court.
"Hey! Who're you?"
"My name's Michelle. I'm an adult neighbor! Who're you?"
"I'm Arsenio! This is Sylvester! Who's this?"
"I'm Schanda's daughter! I'm only fourteen!"
"Arsenio, dis be major good ganja!"
"Hey! You sucked down half the joint in a single puff, Sylvester!"
"Yeah, man! I'm seein' like, lights, y'know? Blue and red, and, like they turnin'!""
Sheriff's deputies attempted to stop the van for driving erratically, prompting the kidnappers to try to speed off, eventually getting pinned by law enforcement at the end of a dead-end road. "Whoa, Sylvester! Dat's a dead end road!"
"It be dead end for them too! They can't go nowhere!"
[Turn!]
"Sylvester, dat don't make no sense!"
The men attempted to escape by jumping into a canal and drowned, the DA's office said. Schanda was rescued from the van by Iberville Parish Sheriff deputies. "C'mon! We'll jump in the canal an' swim away!"
"But..."
[SPLASH!] [SPLASH!]
"Help! Sylvester! I can't swim!"
"Neither can I, Arsenio!"

Handley — who made his fortune in the technology industry, Not as a criminal mastermind...
as well as by selling vitamins and other supplements — Multilevel marketing is not criminal.
was arrested at a hotel on Aug. 11 after he tried to charter a plane, according to USA Today. "Quick! I need to charter a getaway plane!"
"Hang on just a sec! Hello? Police..."
Detectives from the Lafayette Police Department obtained videos and other evidence of Handley planning Schanda's kidnapping, such as renting the van and purchasing the handcuffs used by the kidnappers, the DA said. "Hello? Is this J.C. Penney? How are you, J.C? Hey, listen, do you carry handcuffs?!"
According to court documents obtained by USA Today, the couple married in 2006, but the relationship soured and Handley filed for divorce in 2017 after multiple restraining orders were filed. "I want a... ow!... divorce! Don't throw that! It's expensive! [crash!]"
Handley alleged that his wife had tried to hire a hitman to have him killed, "Hello? Is this John Wick? My name's Schanda. I seen you in the movies and I got a job for you!"
while she alleged Handley had tried to track her phone and install spyware on her computer, according to the report. "I HAVE SOMETHING NICE FOR YOU! OPEN THE ATTACHED DOCUMENT TO SEE WHAT IT IS."
Documents showed Handley had sent his wife threatening messages before the kidnapping, the outlet reported. "SEND ANOTHER MOVIE STAR TO SHOOT ME AND I'LL HAVE YOU KIDNAPPED AND DROWNED! OPEN THE ATTACHMENT FOR DETAILS!"
Handley had previously attempted to plead not guilty by means of insanity in 2018, but was deemed mentally competent for trial. "Judge, my client can't stand trial! He's a nut!"
"Right. He was sane enough to buy a Napoleon Bonapart outfit. He's sane enough to stand trial!"
He now faces up to 35 years in prison, a potential punishment he has come to terms with, his attorney said. "What do you mean? Thirty five years?"
"Ummm... More than thirty four, less than thirty six?" We just feel it's a fair result. It's a fair resolution of the case, Handley's attorney, Kevin Stockstill, told USA Today, adding that his client was able to accept responsibility. "I guess it coulda been life."

[OneIndia] The National Investigation Agency has filed a supplementary chargesheet against one Manpreet Singh in connection with the Hizbul Mujahideen ...Party of Holy Warriors, founded by Muhammad Ahsan Dar in September 1989. One of the Pak sock puppets waging jihad in Indian Kashmir. It was originally organized as the armed wing of Jamaat-e-Islami. In 1990, Dar declared Hizbul as the sword arm of Jamaat. Hizbul murdered many of the pro-independence intelligentsia in Kashmir. After the organization was taken over by Syed Salahuddin Dar and several other ex-Hizb leaders were assassinated between 2001 and 2003... narco terrorism case.
The case was originally registered in Amritsar City following the arrest of Hilal Ahmed. The police had also seized a truck and recovered Rs 29 lakh from his possession. He was an over ground worker and a close aide of Riyaz Ahmed Naikoo the then commander of the Hizbul Mujahideen in Kashmir ...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain.
Riyaz Naikoo was killed in May, 2020. His successor, Saifullah Mir, was killed in the outskirts of Srinigar city in November, 2020. No doubt someone else is getting ready to be killed as part of the Hizbil Mujahideen operations chief job description even as you read these words, dear Reader.
Hilal and arrived in Amritsar to collect funds that were the proceeds of the narcotics sale for further terrorist activities in J&K.
The probe revealed that Singh is a narco trafficker and was in close contact with other co-conspirators of the case for supply of weapons and channelising the proceeds of sale of narcotics. During search 130 live rounds of 9mm calibre of Pak origin were recovered from his possession.

You're supposed to be intimidated, even though he looks like a dweeb.... <Shaun King>has built his image on being a champion of the poor and disenfranchised, but the controversial civil rights activist lives like a one-percenter in a sprawling lakefront home, records show.
King, 41, moved earlier this year from a luxury two-bedroom apartment in downtown Brooklyn, to the five-bedroom, 3,000 square foot North Brunswick, NJ, property, with "a lakefront backyard" and gourmet kitchen, according to public records.
The property, surrounded by lush, tall trees, was purchased by King’s wife, Rai-Tonicia King, a Ph.D. candidate and educator, in November 2020 for $842,000, public records show.
King has been dogged for years by allegations of shady dealings in his charitable efforts in movements he has founded — including a lack of transparency in money he has raised for several criminal justice initiatives he has backed.

[REGNUM] The positions of the armed forces of Armenia near the village of Yeraskh, 70 km from Yerevan, were again fired upon by the Azerbaijani military. This was reported on July 31 on the website of the Armenian Defense Ministry.
According to the latest information, no one from the Armenian side was injured as a result of the incident.
"Units of the Azerbaijani armed forces undertook another provocation, firing at Armenian positions with small arms of various calibers," the statement of the Armenian military department says.
As reported by IA REGNUM , on July 30, the Chairman-in-Office of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), Swedish Foreign Minister Anne Linde stated that Armenia and Azerbaijan must fulfill the agreements on the peaceful settlement of unresolved issues that were reached earlier.
HISTORY OF THE ISSUE
There is a problem of territorial delimitation between Armenia and Azerbaijan, since the places of compact residence of the two ethnic groups do not coincide with the formal state borders. There are no diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Since the collapse of the Russian Empire, a war broke out between the Republic of Armenia and the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic. It was terminated with the formation of the USSR in 1922, when the Armenian SSR and the Azerbaijan SSR were created as part of the Transcaucasian SFSR.
During the Soviet period, the conflict was extinguished through the creation of autonomies and partial relocation of the population of the disputed areas.
With the rise of nationalism during "perestroika" in 1987, the conflict began to flare up again, and after the collapse of the USSR in 1991, it turned into open war. The war between Armenia and Azerbaijan for the Nagorno-Karabakh region, located in the depths of the territory of Azerbaijan, populated by Armenians, continued until 1994.
The Nagorno-Karabakh region and the regions separating it from the territory of Armenia proper remained under the control of the Armenians. The formally unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) is not part of Armenia. From time to time, military clashes take place on the contact line.
Citizens of Armenia are prohibited from entering Azerbaijan, as are citizens of any countries whose passports contain stamps on their stay in NKR.
#Afghan and #Taliban forces clash again on the outskirts of Herat, a day after a police guard was killed when a #UN compound in the western city came under attack.https://t.co/DItZpYF4fP
[ToloNews] Clashes intensified for the third day in southern parts of Herat ...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns... as Taliban ...Arabic for students... advanced to towards the central parts on Saturday, leading to displacement of hundreds of people.
Security forces said the Taliban is using people’s houses and gardens as a shield, something that officials said has slowed down military operations.
Out of 17 districts, only Guzara and the city of Herat are under the government’s control. Others are held by the Taliban who are trying to move towards the center of the city.
Clashes continued for two days in Malan Bridge in south of Herat city, but Taliban took over the area on Saturday, sources said.
The operation was supported by the Air Force.
"Pak fighters are supporting the Taliban in Herat, Farah and Badghis," Herat governor Abdul Saboor Qane said. "Taliban has planned to attack Herat but they have faced resistance on the outskirts of the city and were defeated."

[FoxBusiness] New rules go into effect next year that require more space for pigs and other animals.
At the beginning of next year, California will begin enforcing an animal welfare proposition approved overwhelmingly by voters in 2018 that requires more space for breeding pigs, egg-laying chickens and veal calves. National veal and egg producers are optimistic they can meet the new standards, but only 4% of hog operations now comply with the new rules. Unless the courts intervene or the state temporarily allows non-compliant meat to be sold in the state, California will lose almost all of its pork supply, much of which comes from Iowa, and pork producers will face higher costs to regain a key market.
People will lie for economic gain? I'm shocked, shocked I tell you!
Black market bacon is not the 21st century I was expecting. Imagine sitting there on the Group W bench and and the guy next to you says, "So kid, what'cha in for?"
"Bacon", you sez.
"Bacon? Hahahahah....(long pause) so, you know where I can get some?"
Remember the 2019 China breakout of African Swine Fever? Its a contagious disease that killed well over several million pigs in China. In fact China is still hurting and importing massive amounts of US PORK which has driven up US Pork related meat cut prices.
NOW,
think about how these Calif. rules, will likely further reduce the number of Pigs to market?
Sprinkle on some reported data from Marketplace.org.In early 2020 the US started shipping 1/3 of its Pork to China. But US Pork supplies were down 40% then and are still well below Pre-2019 numbers. But pork shipments to China have quadrupled during the same time period. So about a third of all U.S. produced pork has been or is being exported to China.
NOTE: US Companies still have extended contracted obligations to China for Pork delivery.

No! Our shares didn't JUST get bigger! Like every other regulatory edict passed in California over the decades, the producers will knuckle under and comply. The costs will then be passed on to the national consumer base as a whole. We've been subsidizing California's insanity for a long time.

Like every other regulatory edict passed in California over the decades, the producers will knuckle under and comply.
Only if the producers want to continue selling into Cali. If the cost of compliance is high enough to take a big bite out of profits and but demand is high elsewhere (China & Rest of World), then I would expect sellers to leave the Cali market.

Considering all of the stupid regulatory crap that has had its origins in California, only to be adopted by the rest of the country; just likely do you think it is that the producers will leave the California market?
Name one instance in the last 50 years where that has happened.

[ToloNews] Findings by a parliamentary committee indicate that the newly appointed chief of army staff for Afghanistan, Gen. Wali Ahmadzai, has been focusing on rivalries with corps commanders instead of managing the fight against the Taliban ...Arabic for students... The army general was appointed to the post a month ago, replacing former chief of army staff Gen. Yasin Zia, as the Taliban was taking over as many as a dozen districts each day. He was expected to lead the fight against krazed killers, focus on training and equipping Afghan forces and to implement major military plans.
The internal security committee of the Wolesi Jirga, the lower house of Parliament, said that Gen. Ahmadzai has fallen short of fulfilling his responsibilities and that during his time he has been focused on rivalries with members of the army corps instead of managing the war.
"We hoped that the appointment of the army chief would lead to some progress, but unfortunately, he is focused on rivalries against those who replaced him in (previous positions). This is not the time for rivalry," said Khan Agha Rezaee, the head of Parliament’s internal security committee.
Ahmadzai began his service as an army commander in 1986. In 2015 he was appointed the commander of 215 Maiwand Corps. Three years later he was appointed the commander of 209 Shaheen Corps. He was there for 18 months. Later he was appointed the commander of 215 Atal Corps and then served as the general director of the national public protection force.
He was the commander of 201 Selab Corps before being appointed the army chief.
Sources said that Gen. Ahmadzai has not maintained effective relationships with army corps commanders who replaced him in his previous posts.
After taking charge Ahamdzai vowed to fix the fragile security situation in the country.
"We accept that the situation has tanked," Ahmadzai said last month. "We lost some territory but we continue discussions about our next plans and programs."
A military analyst said that rifts between the army chief and commanders of the army corps will cause the situation to further deteriorate.
"We will face defeat if we don’t have at least common views on the management of the war," military analyst Jawed Kohistan ...a backwoods district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa distinguished by being even more rustic than is the norm among the local Pashtuns.... i said.
The Ministry of Defense, however, denied the findings.
"The army chief, in line with the prevailing laws of the country and the military principles, is working day and night for the better management of the war. There are no rivalry or rifts against anyone," said Defense Ministry front man Rohullah Ahmadzai.

[ColonelCassad] After the establishment of a Sharia court in Helmand province (Gereshk district), the first death sentence was passed.
A Taliban Sharia court sentenced two kidnappers to public execution by hanging.
According to the Sharia court, stealing children from Muslims is punishable by death. Earlier, the Taliban leadership has already stated that it intends to establish a "strong Islamic system" in Afghanistan.
The execution took place in the presence of the local population.
A month ago, there were soldiers at an abandoned Afghan army stronghold. Before that, Italian paratroopers had been there from time to time.

Pakistani Lieutenant Colonel Jawad was eliminated by Afghan army special forces.
A Pakistani lieutenant colonel? How very interesting. The Afghan special forces are to be congratulated.
PS. After yesterday's air strikes by the US Air Force, the Taliban said that if this is so, then they are starting to occupy the major cities of Afghanistan, although the de facto assault on Herat and Lashkar Gah was going on even before the intensive strikes of the US Air Force on July 30.
Street fighting continues in Lashkar Gah. In Herat, so far, battles are taking place on the outskirts of the city.
During yesterday's battles, the commander of the 1st Army Brigade was killed and the troops in the city, according to local reports, are not in the best condition.
Meanwhile, the Taliban captured the mansion of Ismail Khan
... Mohammad Ismail Khan is one of the Northern Alliance/Jamiat-e Islami warlords. The Tajik from Herat was an Afghan National Army captain under the Communists, mujahideen commander against the Soviets, twice governor of Herat province — first for the mujahideen, then after the Taliban were defeated — and finally Hamid Karzai’s Minister of Energy and Water. He no doubt expected that at 75 he would be sitting back and enjoying less active maneuvers as an elder statesman. Instead he stood up a local unit of the People's Resistance® Front, with plans to be formidable...
on the outskirts of Herat and ridiculed him for leaving his house and running away from them like Dostum.
Ismail Khan replies that he will show the Taliban again and they will be able to take Herat.

Friday was one of the busiest and bloodiest days for ANDSF and the Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... in the past month.
The Taliban fighters on Friday entered the western city of Herat province and launched attacks on Afghan government forces’ outposts inside the city. They had besieged the airport and a guard-Afghan police member- of UN’s compound in the city was killed.
Afghanistan Interior Ministry said that the ANDSF launched operations during which the attacks were pushed back and the district of Guzara was taken back from the Taliban.
US army Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... s are too reported to be conducted in support of Afghan government forces in western Herat province bordering Iran.
The Taliban have also launched an attack on the center of Helmand province-Lashkargah- but local officials have assured the people of pushing back the attacks by the Taliban.
On the other hand, Kandahar city also witnessed heavy conflicts between the ANDSF and the Taliban as the province’s majority districts are under the control of the Taliban.
Taloqan city, the thriving provincial capital of Takhar province was too a battlefield between the warring sides and the Afghan defense ministry claimed to have inflicted heavy casualties to the Taliban fighters as the former driven the latter from the city.
Ministry of Defense has said that five districts of the Nijrab district of Kapisa province were also cleared of the Taliban and claims to have killed 24 Taliban fighters and maimed 14 more.

In the afternoon, the ship's crew carried out two additional rescues in the same area, plucking 54 people from a dinghy and 64 others from a wooden vessel.
In their latest operation, they saved 21 people from a wooden vessel.
The total rescued included at least two pregnant women and 33 minors, 22 of them unaccompanied.
SOS Mediterranee says it has rescued more than 30,000 people since February 2016, first with the ship Aquarius, then with Ocean Viking.

The ministry said that the Afghan government has no access to the ports taken by the Taliban and the revenue is being collected by the fighters.
The Taliban with their ongoing offensive launched two months ago have toppled nearly two hundred districts and six key dry ports of the country.
The current violence has adversely affected the lives of people as prices of oil and groceries rose.

[NEWS.YAHOO] President Joe Biden ...... 46th president of the U.S. You're a lyin' dog-faced pony soldier...... ’s troubled son Hunter did not mince words in responding to critics of the stunning prices that his paintings have been fetching.
On the "Nota Bene: This Week in the Art World" podcast, the issue came up when the host began "You seem to have good spirits around the crazed narrative around your paintings. How do you- what’s the response to the people who are coming after the prices of the work, the collectors, what is your response to that?"
Biden responded to the favorably phrased question angrily, "Other than f***’em?" he shot back. Biden’s paintings have been selling for as much as $500,000, the 51-year-old man professes not be playing any part in setting those prices.
"I would be amazed you know if my art had sold at, um you know, for $10," he said.
The younger Biden’s paintings have reportedly been selling for between $75,000 and $500,000. Asked about the potential for influence-peddling, the White House has defended Hunter’s right to sell his art work and has claimed that he’s not involved in conversations about price, which are handled by his gallery.
Implicitly, Biden seemed to recognize what it was that was driving up prices "the price is completely subjective and sometimes it has nothing to do with anything other than, you know, the moment," he explained.
The gallery selling Biden’s art will also be keeping the identities of buyers secret, so as to head off any accusations of influence peddling, although nothing is in place to stop the buyers from publicly identifying themselves.
