Government Corruption
Tina Peters Challenges Colorado's Unbelievable GOP SoS Primary Election Results ‐ Where No-Name Zuckerberg CTCL Candidate Came Out of Nowhere, Made Up 35% Vote Deficit, and Won Primary
[Gateway Pundit] On Tuesday, July 1, a no-name political operative who sits on the Board of Directors for Mark Zuckerberg’s private election mafia the Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL) won the Republican primary Secretary of State race in Colorado.

Popular conservative and MAGA candidate Tina Peters was leading in the polls and had a 15 point lead on her closest competitor Pam Anderson before the votes were counted.

But Pam Anderson from Zuckerberg’s CTCL had the night of her life and defeated Peters by 20 points.
It looks like another one of those Georgia, Pennsyvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and Arizona election night miracles. It’s not who gets the votes, it’s who counts the votes.

#7  RC,

good question

Colorado has a blend of open/closed primaries.

In the primaries, Dems have to vote in the Dem primary. Repub have to vote in the Repub primary. Unaffiliated can vote in either primary.

#8  I'm with 49 Pan. The Dems have continued to act as if they have nothing to fear from the electorate. The only reason they don't want Pudding Brains to run is that there is no possible win by cheating that would pass the public sniff test.

#1  I'm seeing a lot of "conservative" commentators going on about how inflation is costing people a multiple of what the stimulus checks provided. Great argument if you are speaking to economically literate people. To the economic illiterates, inflation just means they will avidly vote for an even smaller stimulus check next time on the principle that they are hurting and will take any help they think they can get.

#3  Some of the true inflation may be hid by a reduction in container size. You pay the same for a large coke and get less. In some cases competition is reducing margins for producers. There would have to be more collusion than is currently happening in the apparel or bedding sectors. Sales for optional purchases like furniture probably can’t inflate without people delaying or forgoing purchases. The impact on farm goods will vary based on fertilizer and distribution costs.

#7  actually, under the chained-cost method of calculating inflation, the increase would have been 8.4% y over y

that index accounts for product switching, e.g., if apples increase more in price than oranges, people buy more oranges and fewer apples

So clothing will shrink to reduce the amount of fabric used? Does that signal the return of the 'miniskirts' and the 'halter tops' as everyday work wear? or would there be a drastic reduction in clothing coverage?

I'm seeing men wearing shorts and short sleeve shirts, in some cases, one or several sizes too small!

As I recall, the correlation is good economy—> short, skimpy clothes. Bad economy —> conservative hemlines and modest clothes.

But shorts and short sleeves just mean summer. ;-) And too small just means they gained more during lockdown than they want to admit, and don’t want to go shopping when they’re just going to lose it again — really.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
Former SC Attorney To be Charged With Murder Of Wife And Son...
...For those who may not have been following this story, it would be popcorn-worthy were it not for the fact that at least two people are dead, and - up to this point - as many as FIVE, though that's still being looked at by the authorities.

Short version: A drug addicted embezzling lawyer into his dealers for possibly millions and likely fixing cases, a bank that was helping him out, a suspicious wife about to file for divorce, a deranged and possibly homicidal alcoholic teenager, a suicide-for-insurance plot that literally misfired, a maid who died under extremely suspicious circumstances, a drug-dealing cousin who was a lousy choice for a hit man, and two dead classmates of the above mentioned teenager. As they used to say on the radio, stay tuned...

[WSOCTV] A lawyer for disgraced South Carolina attorney Alex Murdaugh said Tuesday that investigators have indicated they intend to pursue murder charges against him for the deaths of his wife and son, who were fatally shot outside their home more than a year ago.

Murdaugh already faces dozens of criminal charges that have piled up in the months since his wife Maggie, 52, and their 22-year-old son, Paul, were killed. But until now he has not been charged in connection with their deaths; he’s repeatedly denied any role in those killings.

Maggie and Paul Murdaugh were shot several times between 9 and 9:30 p.m. the night of June 7, 2021, outside their home on the family’s land near Islandton, authorities said. Their bodies were found near dog kennels, according to Colleton County Coroner Richard Harvey.

The South Carolina Supreme Court also disbarred Murdaugh on Tuesday, confirming the inevitable after Murdaugh’s attorneys declined to contest arguments at a June disbarment hearing. In the order, the state Supreme Court noted its decision “in no way” affects ongoing investigations.

#3  Totally in Netfix territory.
Posted by: Dron66046 || 07/13/2022 12:29 Comments || Top||

#4  ...This is going to get well and truly ugly - the Murdaugh family was, to put it gently, 'entitled', and there's a LOT of questions as to whether or not Alex was completely honest with the court as to whether or not he's accounted for all his funds. (And just to be on the safe side, the state has frozen his surviving son's accounts too.)

State Law Enforcement Division - a state police agency that answers ONLY to the Governor, and has the kind of reputation for honesty, integrity, and ferocity that the FBI used to have - is going over everything this guy touched, because there's a feeling he might have been fixing cases. His family law firm 86'd him, a friend who worked at a large local bank was helping him steal and quite possibly launder money, and the Feds are keeping an eye on that.

#4  #3 Rob, During WWII people had Victory Gardens. Recycling of materials used in the war effort such as lard, tin cans, etc. was common. People also hunted. We put up fruit and vegetables. We got milk down the road from a farmer who had cows. We churned butter from the milk. We have moved a long way from self-sufficiency to dependency. However, we are a resourceful people.

Biden Admin Restricting Access to Over 150 Suspicious Activity Reports on Hunter; More Salacious Material Released From His Devices
[American Greatness] A top House Republican investigator says the Treasury Department is restricting access to over 150 suspicious activity reports on Hunter Biden, amid explosive new revelations coming from Biden’s "laptop from Hell," and iPhone.

Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), the ranking member on the House Oversight and Reform Committee, sent a letter to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen last week, following up on a letter he sent in May.

"I wrote to you requesting information regarding Hunter Biden and other Biden associates and family members’ financial transactions flagged by U.S. banks for reporting to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) through Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs). The Biden Administration is restricting Congress’ access to SARs, and Committee Republicans are investigating whether this change in longstanding policy is motivated by efforts to shield Hunter Biden and potentially President Biden from scrutiny," Comer wrote.

The congressman said that "despite Treasury’s assertion in the press ... Treasury is refusing to release SARs connected with Hunter Biden or his family and associates — including the President."

The Treasury Department claimed in May that it provides SARs to Congress "in a manner that enables robust oversight and that is consistent with how other sensitive law enforcement information is produced" and that it "has made SARs available for every request we’ve received, regardless of party, and will continue to do so."

"This is not true," Comer declared in his new letter. "During a phone call on June 13, 2022, Treasury officials informed Committee Republican staff that they will not provide SARs to Committee Republicans unless Democrats join the request."

The congressman added: "Treasury’s actions call for investigation and raise new questions about the degree to which the Biden Administration is using the federal government to provide cover for the Biden family and its associates. The American people deserve to know whether the President’s connections to his son’s business deals occurred at the expense of the United States’ interests and whether they represent a national security threat."

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Iran agent who was helped by Israelis contacted another 20 citizens – report
[IsraelTimes] Shin Bet said to question individuals, mostly women, and warn them they’d been contacted by enemy intelligence; none had committed offenses yet

An Iranian operative who was already known to have been assisted by five Jewish Israelis, was in contact with around 20 other Israelis, it was reported Monday.

An unnamed source told the Kan public broadcaster that the majority of those 20 individuals were women but that they "did not have time to commit offenses."

The report said that none of the second group of Israelis had been charged, but they had been questioned and warned by the Shin Bet security service that they had been in contact with an Iranian agent.

The report came some six months after the Shin Bet announced it had arrested five Jewish Israelis accused of assisting an Iranian operative, who often pretended to be a Jewish man, in gathering intelligence and making connections in Israel.

In some cases, the suspects told Sherlocks they were aware that he may have been an Iranian intelligence operative, but continued their communications with him anyway, according to the security service. The five suspects — four women and one man — are all Jewish immigrants colonists from Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites....
or the descendants of Iranian immigrants colonists. Their names were barred from publication under a court-issued gag order requested by their attorneys.

According to the Shin Bet, the suspects took photographs of strategically significant sites in Israel, including the US embassy branch in Tel Aviv; attempted to form relationships with politicians; provided information about security arrangements at different sites; and committed other offenses — all at the direction of the Iranian operative, who went by the name Rambod Namdar, in exchange for thousands of dollars.

Two of the suspects also attempted to convince their sons to join an IDF Military Intelligence unit, the Shin Bet said.

However,
a lie repeated often enough remains a lie...
as none of the suspects allegedly involved in the case had access to significant classified material, there was no indication that the spy ring seriously compromised national security. It did, however, reveal a potential weak point that could be used by Iran in the future.

The investigation and resulting indictments shed light on the rare and little-discussed phenomenon of Jews from Iran traveling to Israel to visit family. In one case, such a trip — by one of the suspects’ nieces — was used to transport funds from Iran to Israel in order to pay the Israelis working for Namdar, according to the charge sheet.

Namdar, who maintained profiles on Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, pretended to be Jewish in conversations with some of the suspects.

The case was not the first time Israelis have been contacted by alleged Iranian agents. Last year, an Israeli man was nearly tricked into traveling to the United Arab Emirates by an Iranian operative, but called off his trip after hearing about Iranian efforts to kidnap or otherwise harm Israeli citizens.

In 2020, the Shin Bet arrested another Israeli citizen suspected of spying for Iran.

Charges dropped against two men accused of antisemitism in 2021 north London 'hate convoy'

Charges of stirring up racial hatred have been dropped against two men who travelled to north London in a "Convoy For Paleostine" during the war between Israel and Hamas, a regional Iranian catspaw, in May last year.

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) told Wood Green Crown Court that charges have been dropped against Asif Ali, 26 and Adil Mota, 27.

Both men had travelled from Blackburn in the convoy that drove through London on 16 May 2021.

The CPS is still set to move ahead with its case against two other men also from Blackburn, Mohammed Iftikhar Hanif, 28, and Jawaad Hussain, 25 on charges of "using threatening, abusive or insulting words, or behaviour, with intent, likely to stir up racial hatred".

All four men were arrested after a video circulated on social media in May last year, in which antisemitic abuse could be heard being shouted as vehicles draped with Paleostinian flags travelled in a convoy through or near heavily Jewish areas.

All four men had pleaded not guilty

when they were charged last year. Neither Mr Mota nor Mr Ali was required to attend the court for the hearing on Friday. Their lawyers took part by video link. Mr Mota’s solicitor Ghafar Khan told the JC: "We are glad that the case against our client has been dismissed."We had advanced the innocence of Mr Mota from the outset, he has stressed he is not antisemitic and has nothing against Jewish people."

Mr Khan said his client was part of the convoy that travelled to North London but didn’t take part in the threatening or abusive behaviour. The lawyer said: "There was a car protest in which he took part to protest the difficulties faced in Paleostine for the Paleostinian people."

He added that his client had experienced "what has been a really difficult and stressful time for the past 14 months".

India-Pakistan
Militants escape after brief gunfight in Shopian

Militants managed to escape after brief shootout with security forces in Reban Zainapora area of south Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....
’s Shopian district, reports said.

Quoting a top police officer, news agency GNS reported that after the initial contact was established with the hiding murderous Moslems late night on Monday, there was complete lull in firing from both sides.

The searches continued throughout the night, however no holy warrior was found at the encounter. "It seems that due to darkness forces of Evil believed to be two in number managed to escape," the officer added.

The shootout started late last night after security forces cordoned the area following a tip off.

Afghanistan
Ahmad Massoud Calls for Political Solution to Problems in Afghanistan
[ToloNews] The leader of the Resistance® Front, Ahmad Massoud, stressed the need for political dialogue to solve the current Afghan problems.

However,
death is not the end. There remains the litigation over the estate...
he emphasized that as long as the Islamic Emirate will not reach an understanding, there is no other option but to stand against them.

"We have shared our concerns with all western and eastern countries regarding Afghanistan. The situation of Afghanistan needs serious assessment, it needs serious attention. Afghanistan needs to reach political stability through any kind of pressure. The Taliban
...Arabic for students...
or any other group should find a political solution in cooperation with the region and the world to solve the problems of Afghanistan, otherwise, the problems in Afghanistan can once again reach out to the region and world," said Ahmad Massoud, leader of the Resistance® Front," he said.

This comes as the forces of the Resistance® Front have a small foothold in the mountains of Afghanistan.

"The foreigners are supporting the struggles of Ahmad Shah Masoud but no one (Afghans) has so far been ready to support Ahmad Massoud," said Asadullah Nadeem, a political analyst.

Meanwhile,
...back at the shouting match, Bart was wondering if fisticuffs would be appropriate at this point...
analysts said that the opposition will have a negative impact even if it is small.

"War and violence are not the path to a solution. The Islamic Emirate needs to negotiate with its current opponents," said Sayed Haroon Hashimi, a political analyst.

Earlier, officials of the Islamic Emirate repeatedly called on opponents to renounce war and join the Islamic Emirate, however, the leader of the Resistance® Front remains critical of the formation of the current Afghan government.

Britain
BBC Accuses British SAS of Killing Dozens of Afghan Detainees
The BBC is like the New York Times of England — only with television shows as well as thought-shaping reports... and posh accents.
and paid for by forced taxes whether you watch their shit or not
[KhaamaPress] An investigation by the BBC alleges that the Special Air Service (SAS), a branch of the British special forces, killed a large number of detainees while carrying out counter-insurgency operations in Afghanistan ten years ago.

The channel claimed, based on recently acquired military records, that one SAS unit may have murdered 54 civilians in the southern Helmand
...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan...
province arbitrarily between 2010 and 2011.

It further claimed that the former chief of the British Special Forces was aware of the suspected deaths but failed to inform a murder investigation of the evidence.

If a commanding officer learns of possible war crimes, failing to alert the military police is a crime under the British Armed Forces Act.

Reams of SAS operational accounts, containing reports on more than a dozen "kill or capture" missions conducted by one SAS unit in Helmand in 2010—2011, were analyzed by BBC Panorama.

The unit allegedly conducted "kill or capture" missions to seize Taliban
...Arabic for students...
leaders and eliminate bomb-making operations.

The Ministry of Defence stated that while it was unable to comment on particular charges, it should not be seen as endorsing the veracity of those allegations.

Two independent investigations of the conduct of British forces in Afghanistan, according to the ministry, were conducted, but neither produced enough evidence to warrant criminal charges.

The report "jumps to unjustified conclusions from allegations that have already been fully investigated," according to the Ministry of Defense.

As a part of an international coalition established by NATO
...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A cautionary tale of cost-benefit analysis....
in the wake of the 9/11 attacks, British forces have been stationed in Afghanistan since 2001.

Since 2006, thousands of British soldiers have been placed in Helmand to help provide security for development projects, but they were soon drawn into combat activities.

Last summer, 20 years after the first Western troops were sent to Afghanistan, the final British forces and their NATO allies withdrew from Afghanistan.

Afghanistan
Recurrent Border Clashes; Taliban Forces Engage in Another Border Skirmish with the Iranian Border Guards
[KhaamaPress] Taliban
...Arabic for students...
officials in Nimruz, a southwestern province in Afghanistan contiguous to Iran, said that a "misunderstanding" between Taliban forces and Iranian border guards along the border resulted in a skirmish.

The clash, according to the Taliban local officials, occurred on Monday, 11th June, in Nimruz province’s Kang district.

While denying "severe festivities" between the Taliban forces and the Iranian border guards, the Taliban’s Department of Information and Culture of Nimruz province stated that the clash is now over, eliminating concerns.

However,
a lie repeated often enough remains a lie...
no casualty or injury is reported at this time.

At least three instances in the past month, the Taliban forces have engaged in armed confrontations with Iranian border guards.

A border skirmish at the Afghanistan-Iran

border killed an Iranian border guard, Mohammad Sayadi, who is survived by his wife and daughter.

The Taliban forces were blamed by the media for another armed encounter with Iranian border guards, while Iranian media described the opposite side as "armed miscreants."

Since taking over in mid-August of last year, the Taliban forces have frequently instigated violent mostly peaceful armed skirmishes with the neighboring countries, particularly at the borders with Tajikistan, Iran, and Pakistain.

VDH - Our New Antoinettes
[American Greatness] Marie Antoinette, the beheaded wife of the beheaded French Bourbon King Charles Louis XVI, did not really say "Let them eat cake."

But in the short time that the French Revolution became utterly unhinged, toxic, and nihilistic, she became nonetheless iconic as an out-of-touch elite who had lived in a make-believe world at Versailles, without a clue (or care?) about the ordeal of the masses.

Rather than worry about the drudgery of the French peasant, Marie dressed up as one. And she roamed about in her idyllic faux peasant "farm" at the Hameau de la Reine, near the palace at Versailles.

Apparently, during these brief rustic interludes, Marie felt that the more she might act out a sort of aristocratic peasant life, the more she could find simplicity and escape the drama of court life, but without the real-life, crushing poverty of the poor.

The modern left-wing elite are becoming our version of Antoinettes. Thirty-eight-year-old Mark Zuckerberg is worth over $60 billion. But he enjoys T-shirts, jeans, and apparent simplicity in his many landed estates. He is so worried about the wrong voting tendencies of the clueless middle classes that he poured nearly $420 million of dark money from his vast fortune into the 2020 election—de facto absorbing the work of key precinct registrars—to ensure the "right" result for the unthinking multitudes.

Americans, almost uniquely among modern nations, mostly do not envy, much less despise the rich. But there is a certain sort of privilege that they do not like: the sanctimonious and hypercritical rich whose rhetoric is at odds with their own lifestyles and the methods by which they inherited or made vast sums. And they especially are turned off by those who exude open disdain for the clinger/deplorable/dregs class—to paraphrase the Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Joe Biden nomenclature.

An especially grating habit of the left-wing wealthy is to lecture the middle class on their supposed illiberality. Often, those struggling are told they need to pay more for what White House economic advisor Brian Deese recently called the "liberal world order."

Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, or George Soros, to take a few examples, are multibillionaires who live lives unlike any in the history of civilization. They also fund various agendas through multibillion-dollar foundations and their own personal riches.

Their causes are all deemed critical to the nation and planet, but unfortunately not fully appreciated as so vital by the peasant classes—whether they be global governance, massive restructuring of the economy to stop carbon releases, radical abortion on demand, or the sponsoring of critical legal theory prosecutors who feel crime is but a rich man’s construct.

Saudi destruction of historical Yemeni mosque draws condemnation and popular anger
by Emad Almarshahi
July 10, 2022

[HodhodYemenNews] Tihama Organization for Rights, Development and Human Heritage condemned the demolition of the historic Al-Noor Mosque in Al-Khokha, by the US-Saudi mercenaries.

In a statement, the organization said that this crime is among a series of ongoing crimes committed by the US-Saudi aggression and its mercenaries against Islamic and historical monuments in Yemen.

It stated that the aggression’s targeting of historical monuments and archaeological sites aims to eliminate the Islamic historical cultural heritage and the faith identity of the Yemeni people.

The organization demanded the international organizations to condemn this criminal act and to protect mosques and historical monuments that are subject to obliteration and distortion by the US-Saudi aggression and mercenaries.

Top ISIS Leader Killed In US Strike In Syria

On Tuesday, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced the killing of one of the top five Islamic State Organization (ISIS) leaders and the leader of ISIS in Syria, in a strike in northwest of Aleppo.

In a press release the CENTCOM stated, “the US Central Command Forces conducted a UAS strike outside Jindayris, northwest Syria targeting two senior ISIS officials, July 12, 2022.”

Maher al-Agal, the ISIS leader, was killed and “a senior ISIS official closely associated with Maher was seriously injured during the strike,” the press release read.

On Tuesday morning, a local source told North Press Agency that an unidentified drone targeted two individuals, who were riding a motorcycle, in the countryside of Jindires district in the Turkish-occupied city of Afrin north of Aleppo.

The two targeted individuals are militants of al-Sharqia Army, one of the armed factions affiliated with the Turkish-backed Syrian National Army (SNA), according to the source.

The CENTCOM’s statement noted that al-Agal was also responsible for “pursuing the development of ISIS networks outside of Iraq and Syria.”

“This strike reaffirms CENTCOM’s steadfast commitment to the region and the enduring defeat of ISIS,” said Col. Joe Buccino, a CENTCOM spokesperson.

“ISIS continues to represent a threat to the U.S. and partners in the region,” Buccino added.

Farhad Shami, director of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Media Center, said that Hundreds of ISIS militants still move in the Turkish occupied Syrian areas.

No civilian casualties were reported in the strike, according to the initial information.

Opposition websites publicized that the wounded other ISIS militant also succumbed to his injuries; however, North Press did not managed to verify the news.

About yesterday's strike in Novaya Kakhovka
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Chervonec] As a result of yesterday's strike of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Novaya Kakhovka, about 10 people were killed and about 60 injured

Why such a quantity of this very explosive substance was in the frontline zone and who is responsible for this is a separate question.

It is worth noting that under Stalin this would have been sorted out very quickly. But the question is different. I will make two main points.

The first -
Saltpeter is fertilizer. It's not ammunition. Do you remember the explosion in Beirut? And its consequences? Do you think the ragoulli did not know where it was aiming? It knew. And the calculation was to blow up half of the city. Because Ukraine is a terrorist country

July Ukrainian artillery hit the saltpeter warehouses near the village of Druzhba in the LPR. With the same calculation. Because Ukraine is a terrorist country " (C) .

Second -
I'm interested, Vladimir Vladimirovich. Of course, I am not a person in your place and do not have your experience, knowledge and information. But can I ask a simple question? And what else should the terrorist state of Svidomo Ukraine do in order for it to receive a blow to the decision-making centers?

At least at the level of the Ministry of Defense? Or are we only ready for "good will gestures", as has been done on numerous occasions and with sad consequences for us because of these "gestures", are we ready? You say, "We haven't really started yet." It is not clear why such statements and games, as you say, giveaway.

Volyn massacre: Polish and Ukrainian society are not ready for reconciliation
Direct Translation via Google translate. Edited.
by Stanislav Stremidlovsky

[REGNUM] Judging by the mood that spills over into social networks, the Polish society is tired of waiting for “historical justice” to be restored, and the Ukrainian society is not ready to fulfill it in the Polish version. It takes time, a lot of time and subtle decisions. Do Warsaw and Kyiv have them? Does not look like it.

Joint historical dates continue to be a kind of stress test for Polish and Ukrainian societies. This was once again shown by Monday, July 11, the day when Poland remembers the victims of the Volyn genocide and waits for an adequate reaction from Ukraine, recognition of the sinister role of Ukrainian nationalists in the massacre of hundreds of thousands of peaceful Poles in 1943-1944. But for obvious reasons, in Kyiv they are trying to cover up this topic. This was typical for the Ukrainian leadership before, when the country still respected the norms of decency and there was no such revelry of aggressive nationalism as it is now, especially since Volyn is hushed up today. This creates big problems for the Polish authorities, who are under pressure from Polish public opinion.

Thus, on the eve of July 11, reports appeared in the Polish press that on the day of remembrance of the victims of the Volyn genocide, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky would make a statement and, perhaps, recognize historical responsibility for the events of those years. Therefore, since Monday morning, many in Poland have been attentively waiting for news from Kyiv. But in the end, Volyn was spoken about that day only in Warsaw. Polish President Andrzej Duda and Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki delivered their speeches.

Given the enormous political capital that the ruling Polish Law and Justice Party (PiS) had invested in support of Kyiv, Duda and Morawiecki had a difficult task ahead. They had, on the one hand, to play on the feelings of the Poles, who demand repentance from the Ukrainians for the genocide, on the other hand, not to alienate their Ukrainian partners. This task was undertaken by the Polish Prime Minister, marked by two sharp theses. First, he said that "today Ukraine sees that the successor of the nationalist organizations and the UPA is the Russian World." Secondly, I saw the "responsibility of the Germans" for the massacre of the Poles, organized by the Ukrainians in Volhynia.

According to Morawiecki, "the atrocities in Volhynia intensified in 1942-1944. Who then ruled these lands? Germany. They were the masters of life and death of Poles, Ukrainians and Jews. And they are responsible for the Volyn crime."

The prime minister's statement fits in with the dominant line of the ruling party in recent years, which has opened a political war on two fronts - against Russia and Germany. But the problem for Law and Justice here is that in the case of the Volyn genocide, it has to convince, first of all, its voters, who are keenly interested in this topic, while the opposition electorate is deeply indifferent to this tragedy.

And among PiS supporters and representatives of more right-wing radical forces, including Polish nationalists, there are now those who would make concessions to Kyiv on the issue of the Volyn genocide, even in the current Ukrainian crisis. The Ukrainian authorities could make it easier for their Polish partners if they showed at least some form of public reaction that satisfied the Polish society. But they didn't.

On the evening of July 11, Zelensky’s appeal to Ukrainians appeared on the website of the President of Ukraine, where the Polish topic was voiced, but in the context of the “very important bill on legal and social guarantees for Polish citizens who are in Ukraine” that he submitted to the Verkhovna Rada. It, in particular, proposes "to give our Polish brothers the opportunity to legally stay in Ukraine for 18 months, the right to employment, economic activity, education in our universities, medical care."

Motivating the need to approve this bill, Zelensky said that "we have achieved the highest level of trust and cooperation in relations with Poland not just over decades, but during the lifetime of many generations of our peoples." However, it does not seem that his optimistic assessment is shared by the societies of both countries.

In Ukrainian-language social networks, they are perplexed why only the Poles should receive a special status, while "during the war, all conscious people help us, then let’s give the British such a status, and everyone else."

They ask themselves whether it will not turn out that the special "status of them (the Poles - S.S.) obliges to annex, for example, the western part of Ukraine to Poland," and also admit that "after the war, the Poles will return for their property and land to Western Ukraine."

Polish commentators, in turn, cannot understand who and why will go from Poland to Ukraine in order to take advantage of the privileges of a "special status," because millions of refugees go from Ukraine to Poland, and not vice versa.

One could, of course, explain Kyiv's initiative by the fact that it will help Polish firms claiming to restore Ukrainian territories after the conflict is resolved. However, after the international conference in Switzerland, where Poland was offered to restore the Donbas together with Italy, it is unlikely that anyone will take this seriously.

As noted on the pages of the portal Ukraine.ru political scientist Vasily Stoyakin, "The Kyiv regime has found a way to ask its Western partners for forgiveness for the "exploits" of its ideological predecessors, without formally asking for forgiveness."

At the same time, he admits that, "Zelensky is acting step by step, proposing at first harmless norms that will not cause much indignation among nationalists and that can be easily passed through parliament. Everything else can be implemented gradually, with an eye on the position of parliamentarians and public opinion."

But such a strategy presupposes the political survival of the Zelenskiy administration and tight control over the country.

Because the decisions of Kyiv will have to be recognized and implemented by Lviv, which has its own regional subjectivity. Meanwhile, judging by the mood that spills out on social networks, and the Polish society is tired of waiting for "historical justice" to be restored, and the Ukrainian society is not ready to fulfill it in the Polish version. It takes time, a lot of time and subtle decisions. Do Warsaw and Kyiv have them? Does not look like it.

Restoration of the 1921 border and Poland's neighbors

[REGNUM] The reunification of the five Western Ukrainian regions with Poland will be supported by Romania - as they say, the ashes of Bukovina are knocking in her heart.

As already mentioned at the very beginning of this series of articles, the highest officials of Russia, in particular, Messrs . Naryshkin and Patrushev, express extreme concern about the possible irredenta of Western Ukraine and are ready to stand up in defense of the territorial integrity of Ukraine. That is, it can be assumed that Russia, in the event of the secession of five Western Ukrainian regions and their reunification with Poland, will strongly protest against this action - however, as it seems to the author, more playing for the public than seriously attending to the change in European borders.

Both Yalta and Helsinki are in the distant past, the treaties of those times are irrelevant, the borders, as we know from the example of Central Europe and the Balkans, tend to collapse for smaller reasons. So Russia will most likely eventually accept Polish sovereignty over the territories along the Zbruch - restoring the status quo of the Peace of Riga. The Russians understand that in the west of Ukraine they are unlikely to be welcomed by anyone.

But not only Poland borders Ukraine. And what's more, the rest of the border states have much greater grounds for territorial claims against Ukraine - at least no less than Poland, that's for sure. And Hungary is number one here: it alone has a sufficiently large national minority in the Transcarpathian region of Ukraine - after all, twelve percent, this is not gibberish-hahanki for you.

Hungarians make up the majority of the population in the Beregovsky district, half of the population of the Vinogradovsky district, as well as a noticeable minority in the Uzhgorod and Mukachevo districts. And there is a well-founded suspicion that in the case of irredenta in Western Ukraine, the Hungarians of Transcarpathia will decide to return to the arms of mother Hungary ...

But not only Hungarians live in Transcarpathia - there are quite a lot of Rusyns there as well. Which, it just so happens, make up a large part of the population of eastern Slovakia. And which, on this basis, can also raise the issue of restoring the national unity of the Ruthenian people.

By the way, the Rusyns, as an independent ethnic group that created the first Czechoslovakia together with the Czechs and Slovaks, had their own administration on their territory. In December 1938, the Rusyns received autonomy (Podkarpackie Rus). So the Slovaks should not be discounted at all - they may well support the irredenta of western Ukraine in their own interests.

Moreover, the reunification of the five Western Ukrainian regions with Poland will be supported by Romania - as they say, the ashes of Bukovina are knocking in her heart. Chernivtsi are crying out for the return to their native harbor! And therefore, Bucharest can quite realistically support Warsaw - because it also has interests in Ukraine ...

And only Belarus alone will stubbornly talk about the inviolability of borders, the preservation of the territorial integrity of Ukraine and other fiction in the style of Pacta sunt servanda - but only because Old Man Lukashenko , firstly, has no interest in the wooded and marshy sandy soils of Volhynia and, in Secondly, there are no forces for the de-Ukrainization of these territories. And therefore, in the event of an irredenta in Western Ukraine, Belarus will pretend to be a staunch champion of international law - that is, to put a good face on a bad game ...

Russia has a great deal to answer for, gospodin Stremidlovsky. You had better hope and pray that the Poles and Ukranians don't decide to pay it back with interest.

Badanov,

You are absolutely right, and I should have probably included that detail. As see it though - and this is IMHO, YMMV of course - that a sculpture, and one probably put up with less than a willing heart, simply cannot cover the damage that Russia inflicted upon Poland over the last few centuries. It's even less likely to do so given that the Russians really, really seem to want to go all Ivan Grozny on the Ukranians and the Poles again.

The Poles and the Ukranians have a 'Never Again' attitude every bit as strong as that of Israel. The Russians would do well to understand that, though at this point I'm not sure they will short of a bloody defeat.

Which drives one to ask, why did Russia choose to add insult to injury by taking down the Polish flag at the Katyn Massacre memorial? What message does that send?

This strikes me as a combination of special pleading and Lets you and him fight in an attempt to fracture the anti-Russia sentiment across nearly the entirety of the former Russian conquests.

#6  It's even less likely to do so given that the Russians really, really seem to want to go all Ivan Grozny on the Ukrainians and the Poles again.

You get no argument from me. Russians seem to want to enforce what I call the Slavic pecking order, at the bottom of which are the Poles. Below them are the Ukrainians.

This strikes me as a combination of special pleading and Lets you and him fight in an attempt to fracture the anti-Russia sentiment across nearly the entirety of the former Russian conquests.

See the Russian film "White Tiger" The subtext of that film is that the Russians blame not just Nazi Germany for the invasion in 1941, but the entirety of Europe.

They want secure borders and if they have to grind the bones of every Ukrainian into clay, by God, they'll have it.

#9  They want secure borders...

Speaking as a geo-political idiot: The thing that puzzles me is that Russia's longest and most dangerous border is with China. Now I know Putin and Xi have pledged to be Best Friends Forever, but that reminds me of of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, or two scorpions in a bottle. And Putin seems to be stripping his eastern defenses to support the Special Military Operation.

Would the Chinese actually attack? I don't think so, but I'm willing to bet that whoever commands the Chinese forces in the east has had an erection lasting more than four hours.

It could well be the whole basis for Putin's war is to secure his western flanks, before the Chinese wake up one morning and decide the dude ain't worth it.

#11  Would the Chinese actually attack?

I’ve read that empty Siberian villages (or whatever that part of Russia nearest the Chinese border is called) have been quietly housing illegal Chinese settlers for a generation or more. Why should China attack what they already have?

#12  The Myth of a Chinese Takeover in the Russian Far East
The Chinese presence in Siberia and the Far East is actually declining, not growing.

#13  From that article:

But perhaps the biggest factor that predicts a reduced Chinese presence in the future is the dire economic conditions in the Russian Far East. When asked about their businesses, Chinese traders in the region unanimously state that it has become less profitable over the past few years, citing local consumers’ waning purchasing power as the primary cause. More specifically, they point out that the Russian ruble has lost half its value relative to the dollar since 2014, making goods imported from China more expensive for locals suffering stagnant nominal wages. Combined with continuing depopulation, the local consumer base is shrinking fast, with little prospect for a sustained rebound in the future. As profits suffer, all traders mention many colleagues closing up shop and leaving Russia for good, with ever fewer newcomers to replace them.

So the argument would be that the Chinese won't invade because the Russian Far East is not worth having. Sure you want to go there, Joe?

New SF DA Brooke Jenkins has 'icy' meeting with woke predecessor's remaining staff
Uh oh. Someone is in trouble...
[NYPOST] the Socialist paradise of San Francisco
...where God struck dead Anton LaVey, home of the Sydney Ducks, ruled by Vigilance Committee from 1859 through 1867, reliably and volubly Democrat since 1964...
’s no-nonsense new district attorney reportedly held an "uncomfortable," "icy" first meeting with staff inherited from her booted woke predecessor — an introduction described as "horrible" and even "insane."

Brooke Jenkins, 40, has long signaled her radically different approach to her much-maligned predecessor, Chesa Boudin — even quitting her job last October to help lead the campaign that got him recalled.

After being appointed by Mayor London Breed, Jenkins headed to her City Hall office for the first time on Friday for a 20-minute meeting with her staff, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

Most of her 25 staff were hired by either Boudin or his predecessor, George Gascon, who is now also facing recall efforts to get him ousted from his current job as Los Angeles County’s DA.

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
War in Ukraine. Summary 07/12/2022
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Commentary by Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin

[ColonelCassad] 1. Seversk.
After the liberation of Grigorovka, fighting continues in the direction of Serebryanka, the capture of which will allow them to advance to Dronovka and bypass Seversk from the north.

Fighting in the Verkhnekamensky area.

The enemy continues to level the village with artillery, trying to slow down the advance of the RF Armed Forces towards the eastern outskirts of Seversk.

2. Soledar.
After the capture of the Disputable Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, battles began for Ivano-Daryevka in order to further advance to the Seversk-Soledar highway.

The enemy is strengthening the defenses on the line of the settlements of Zvanovka-Razdolovka.

In the area of Berestovoye and Belogorovka - positional battles.

To the east of Soledar, the enemy has been driven out of Vladimirovka and is being driven out of Stryapovka.

3. Artemovsk.
Fighting in the Pokrovsky area.

The enemy suffered heavy losses as a result of strikes against concentrations of manpower in Artemovsk and Chasov Yar.

In turn, missile strikes continue deep into the territory of the DPR and LPR against ammunition depots and fuel and lubricants.

In the area of Svetlodarsk, attempts continue to cut off enemy forces that have settled at the Uglegorsk TPP.

The enemy still holds Kodema and Semigorye.

4. Avdievka.
Positional battles near the Avdievka-Konstantinovka highway and in the Avdievka industrial zone.

There is no serious progress towards Krasnogorovka and Ocheretino. On the outskirts of New York - also without significant changes.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to shell Donetsk, Gorlovka, Yasinovataya and other settlements.

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the army of the DPR, in turn, are increasingly working on the Avdievka fortified area.

5. Slavyansk.
Fighting in the area of the Valley, Bogorodichny, Sidorovo. The enemy is gradually pushed back to the city.

According to the statements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the advanced positions of the RF Armed Forces are 10 km from the outskirts of the city.

The advance is hampered by forests that cover Slavyansk from the northwest.

The enemy continues to rotate badly battered units in the area of Slavyansk and Kramatorsk.

6. Kharkov.
Positional battles in the direction of Zolochev, Uda, Dementievka, Upper Passages and Upper Saltov.

The enemy shells Cossack Lopan and Tsupovka.

The RF Armed Forces are actively working on targets in Kharkov.

7. Carbon.
Positional battles in the area of Pavlovka and Yegorovka.

In Maryinka and Novomikhailovka - no significant changes.

8. Zaporozhye.
On the line Kamenskoye-Orekhov-Gulyaipole - no significant changes. Fights continue in a positional manner.

In the area of Kamensky, another exchange of bodies of the dead took place - they changed 40 for 40.

The enemy is trying to accumulate forces in Zaporozhye for active operations in the direction of Vasilyevka and Pologi.

9. Nikolaev.
In response to the shelling of Energodar and Novaya Kakhovka, the RF Armed Forces delivered massive strikes on Nikolaev, as well as in the Nikopol and Krivoy Rog directions.

The high activity of artillery and MLRS on both sides hinders active offensive operations and at this stage forms a tendency towards positioning.

But political statements from Kyiv indicate that a possible offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Krivoy Rog direction may fit not only into purely military parameters.

Attempts to advance to Kherson will be dictated by the declared political goals and the desire to achieve tactical or even operational success before mid-autumn.

10. Odessa, Izyum, Dzerzhinsk - no significant changes.

Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[KavkazUzel] Takhir Sozaev, who is suspected of publicly calling for extremism in a village chat, is included in the list of extremists and terrorists.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 5 it became known that the court arrested for two months the head of the administration of the village of Belaya Rechka in Kabardino-Balkaria Takhir Sozaev, suspected of public calls for extremism. The official was detained on July 2, on the night of July 3, a fire broke out in the village administration building.

...a Turkic-speaking ethnic group living in the Kabardino-Balkaria region of Russia, which makes this sound more nefarious than it originally appeared at the top of the article...
to speak their native language and not to serve customers who speak Russian in stores.

A resident of the village of Belaya Rechka told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that in the village, where more than 90 percent of the inhabitants are Balkars, there were no interethnic problems. The defense was satisfied with the sentences to the residents of Karachay-Cherkessia for justifying terrorism
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[KavkazUzel] It was decided not to appeal against the sentences of the residents of Karachay-Cherkessia Zukhra Uzdenova and Akhmed Shumakhov, as the court limited itself to a fine, their lawyers said. The repentance of those accused of justifying terrorism allows them to avoid imprisonment, they explained.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 7, the Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don sentenced Akhmed Shumakhov, a resident of Karachay-Cherkessia, to a fine of 350,000 rubles, finding him guilty of posting a video file and a photograph on social networks justifying terrorism. On July 5, the same court sentenced a resident of Karachay-Cherkessia, Zukhra Uzdenova, to a similar fine, also recognizing her publications on the social network as justification for terrorism.

Both Uzdenova and Shumakhov were found guilty under Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Public calls for terrorist activities, public justification of terrorism or propaganda of terrorism using the Internet", which provides for a fine of 300 thousand to a million rubles or in the amount of wages or other income convicted for a period of three to five years or five to seven years in prison.

The verdict of Zukhra Uzdenova entered into force today, she or her lawyer did not file an appeal, a representative of the Southern Military Court told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. "Shumahov's sentence should come into force on July 19, unless an appeal is filed. There is still a week to appeal," she said.

It was decided not to appeal Uzdenova's verdict, her lawyer Pavel Sherstnev confirmed to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

"There was no appeal and there will not be. The state prosecution itself asked for a fine as punishment. The judge gave a fine a little less than the prosecutor's office asked for, and a little more than we asked," he said.

Punishment in the form of a fine under this article is not uncommon, the lawyer added.

"The article is drafted in such a way that it provides for up to seven years in prison or a fine. A suspended sentence under this article cannot be applied. And the judges look at the personality of the accused during the trial. If he has been previously convicted of a similar crime, if he does not repent, if he believes that he is right, posting any pictures, then in practice they more often resort to punishment in the form of real imprisonment. And if a person repents of his actions and is ready for correction, they often impose a fine," Sherstnev said, without specifying whether she repented in court his client.

Shumakhov's lawyer David Yeghiazaryan also believes that the severity of punishment depends on the personality of the accused. “If someone resists and does not repent, then this is one thing. And if a person says that he just posted what he liked in order, for example, to promote a page on Instagram, that is, when there is no direct intent to justify terrorist activities impose a fine," he told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to him, Shumakhov admitted his guilt in court. “He repented of his deed. I interpreted his actions in such a way that he wanted to “hype” on the Internet, promote his account by gaining more subscribers. He took some videos or photos that were popular and posted them on his page in order to gain more likes and comments. He had no direct intention to call for terrorist activities," Yeghiazaryan said.

In particular, the Russian Federation claims to be controlled by the city of Grigorovka. Russian forces also continue the offensive along the main E-40 supply route in the direction of Slavyansk and Kramatorsk.

Analysts predict that Russian forces will probably continue to exert military pressure on the Armed Forces of Ukraine, regrouping and reorganizing for further offensive actions in the near future. Also, intelligence suggests that the lack of personnel in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation may force the Russian Ministry of Defense to resort to non -traditional completion, which includes recruitment from Russian prisons for Wagner PMC. "If this is true, this step probably indicates difficulties with compensation for a significant number of Russian losses," the intelligence believes.

According to him, during the "operational pause" the invaders did not stop artillery and missile strikes, trying to capture small settlements located on the border of the Lugansk and Donetsk regions to block large cities.

Meanwhile, in Lisichansk, communal equipment "disappears" - the vast majority of such cases happen after the communal or private enterprise "officially examines" the commandant's office, Gaidai said.

"

06:18:18 Lithuanians purchased 110 “Antrons” for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which will allow Russian drones to shoot down at a distance of up to 5 km, journalist Andryus Tapinas said. They called the gift of the murderer of the orcs .

03:44 The American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) notes that Putin is probably pressing on Lukashenko, so he is trying to support the war of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, avoiding the direct military intervention of Belarus. So, the Belarusian leader will probably continue to provide Russian forces with access to the airspace of the Republic of Belarus in order to demonstrate to Putin at least nominal support. ISW analysts believe that the probability of the direct participation of Belarus in the war in Ukraine remains low, as this will threaten Lukashenko’s stability and even survival.

Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Caribbean-Latin America
Mexico to contribute $1.5 billion for infrastructure at US southern border
As Trump projected.
[FoxNews] Mexico will contribute $1.5 billion toward infrastructure at the southern border to improve processing and security, Fox News Digital has learned -- a commitment that comes as Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador visited the White House.
"Hola, Presidente Breakfast Taco! Or should I say 'Taco de desayuno?'"
Lopez Obrador is visiting Washington D.C., where he met with President Biden in a bilateral meeting. A source familiar with the talks said that the $1.5 billion had been committed by Mexico.

It comes as part of a bilateral meeting arranged after Lopez Obrador skipped the Summit of the Americas in June after disagreement over which nations were invited.

During that summit, the U.S. announced a host of commitments, including hundreds of millions of dollars in aid to refugee and migrant causes, extra work visas and expanded refugee resettlement.

Mexico signed onto commitments of its own -- namely in expanding its migration programs and launching a new temporary labor program.

On Tuesday, President Biden noted other moves made by his administration to secure the border, which has been hit by overwhelming border numbers -- with more than 239,000 encounters in May alone. He highlighted joint efforts with Mexico to stop human traffickers, and an operation launched in April to stop smugglers of both migrants and deadly drugs like fetanyl.

"We've had a major anti-smuggling operation underway since April targeting human smugglers who traffic in people, drugs and weapons. Toward this effort we deployed 1,300 additional personnel, conducted 20,000 disruption operations, and we've made over 3,000 arrests, all since April," he said.

Biden also called for more action from the region.

"But as you know, Mr. President, we need every country in the region to join us in tracking this multi-billion dollar smuggling industry that's preying on our most vulnerable, including the fifty three souls who died in a tractor trailer in San Antonio last month," he said.

It tracks with the approach of the administration of viewing migration as a regional, not a U.S.-only challenge. That approach was promoted by the Biden administration at the Summit in Los Angeles, where Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris emphasized their focus on tackling "root causes" in the region and secured the signatures of multiple countries onto a declaration to work together on migration.

There, the White House announced that the U.S. was committing to offering 22,500 H-2B non-agricultural visas to Central America and Haiti, and to resettle 20,000 refugees from the Americas in FY 2023 and 2024 (a three-fold increase from this year), increase reunification programs for Cubans and Haitians, provide an additional $25 million for a crisis response program on migration and commit to a $314 million in funding via the State Department and U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) for humanitarian and development assistance for refugees and vulnerable migrants across the hemisphere.

The U.S. also promised to increase the resettlement of Haitian migrants, and roll out a new "Fair Recruitment Practices Guidance" for temporary migrant workers, which will be done in cooperation with major corporations like Walmart.

"This is just a start," Biden said. There's much more work remains to state the obvious. Every country needs to work together to maintain a humane, orderly immigration process; to invest in securing the borders, screening and registering migrants who enter their countries and repatriating those who do not qualify to remain."

Activist tale of a 10-year-old rape victim's abortion looks like a lie
And thank goodness for that.
[NYPOST] "Not a whisper." That was Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost, saying that his search for a notorious child rape case in his state had turned up nothing.

That is odd given the vast coverage by the media, and even condemnation of the president of the United States, of the supposed case of a 10-year-old girl raped and impregnated in Ohio and forced to seek an child sacrifice abortion in Indiana.

What is even stranger than the utter lack of confirmation of the story is the utter lack of interest in confirming it — or in the welfare of the child herself. We have little proof that the story is true despite some significant legal and factual questions.

The story of the child rape united the nation in revulsion, but also became the rallying point for the denunciation of the Supreme Court, including in comments by President Biden. In his White House address, Biden cried that this child "was forced to have to travel out of the state to Indiana to seek to terminate the pregnancy and maybe save her life. Ten years old — 10 years old! — raped, six weeks pregnant, already traumatized, was forced to travel to another state."

The president used the story to attack the Supreme Court and ask, "What century are they in?"

The media also exhaustively covered the story. It was written up everywhere from Israel to Bangladesh. On MSNBC, Joy Reid declared, "It is hard to imagine anything more cruel, more disturbing than forcing a child, a 10-year-old still playing with fidget toys and tablets, to carry her father or her brother’s child to term or forcing her to travel across state lines for an child sacrifice abortion. And yet, here we are."

#10  So much wrong with this story and so much coming out. One thing is for certain: it was not at all necessary for victim to travel out of state for an abortion per Ohio law. This IS the lie that cannot be explained away. The abortionist is a major suspect in this case and could implicate PP in coverups of many under age abortions.
Posted by: Rex Mundi || 07/13/2022 15:31 Comments || Top||

#11  The real story here is that Family and Child Services tried to cover up a rape, but failed because a leftist wanted to use ut to score political points.

Lots of social worker drones deserve prison time for trying to cover it up, and everyone else who ignored mandatory reporting laws needs to go with them.

And the left needs to figure out if they think rape is a bad thing or not. It's weaponized to go after middle-class men in college, but apparently they're cool with it happening to children.

NYC duo opens fire, barely missing girl in wheelchair, woman
[NYPOST] Shocking video captures the moment two button men opened fire on a Brooklyn street, barely missing their target — as well as a girl in a wheelchair and a woman standing nearby.

The footage, released early Tuesday, shows the duo walking up to their target — a man sitting on a scooter on Liberty Avenue near Junius Street in Brownsville around 7:40 p.m. Monday and letting off a few rounds.

The man jumped off the scooter and ran off without being struck, according to cops and the video.

A girl in a wheelchair, whose age was not known early Tuesday, as well as a woman, were standing close by on the sidewalk when the shots rang out, the footage shows.

The woman can be seen pulling the wheelchair away and backing down the block. Her relationship to the girl is unclear.

Neither the woman nor the girl reported any injuries, cops said.

Police are still looking to track down the suspects.

Paroled robbery suspect holds up California store at gunpoint: video
[NYPOST] A brazen Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, gunman already on parole robbed a cellphone store outside Los Angeles, police said.

Lawrence Bell, 37, of Torrance, was wearing an ankle monitor when he stormed into a Boost Mobile store in Culver City on Sunday afternoon and pointed a semi-automatic handgun at two clerks, police said in a statement.

"The suspect then jumped over the counter and forced both employees to lay face down while he grabbed money from the cash register," Culver City police said.

Bell made off with about $500 in cash and fled on foot, but officers realized upon reviewing surveillance footage that he dropped a set of car keys as he took off. Investigators soon located Bell’s vehicle, which was parked about a block away from the store, police said.

"When the officers looked inside the vehicle, they observed the clothing that was worn by the suspect in the rear seat," the police account continued.

Cops then tracked down Bell nearby and he was detained without incident. A subsequent search of his car revealed a loaded Glock semi-automatic, as well as clothing he wore during the robbery and $500 in cash, police said.

Bell, who was charged with armed robbery, was already on parole for an earlier alleged heist and had on an ankle monitor as a condition of his release, authorities said.

The case will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, which is led by George Gascón, who has been dogged by accusations of being soft on crime. A recall campaign against him has generated more than 715,000 signatures, the Los Angeles Times reported Saturday, citing elections officials.

Ukrainian rockets reportedly strike Russian forces, killing 52
[NYPOST] Ukrainian rockets struck Russian forces in the country’s south on Tuesday and killed 52 people, Kyiv said.

The attack, which has not been independently verified, apparently hit the town of Nova Kakhovka in the Kherson region with long-range rockets.

The rockets also destroyed Russian ammunition, including seven armored vehicles, Ukraine’s southern military command said.

Ukraine said the strike signals their new counter-offensive to hit back at the Kremlin in the south with hundreds of thousands of troops.

Russian officials said they had been attacked by HIMARS missiles, which have recently been provided to Ukraine by the US and hailed by Kyiv as a "game-changer" in its fight.

"There are still many people under the rubble. The injured are being taken to the hospital, but many people are blocked in their apartments and houses," a Russian news agency quoted a military official saying. The Kremlin said so far at least seven people have died and around 60 are injured.

Florida family fight over estate of ailing mother leaves two dead, one injured
[NYPOST] A vicious family feud over the vacation home of a Florida woman who recently moved into an assisted living facility left two people dead and one maimed from gunshots in Boca Raton over the weekend, cops said.

Several members of the family were scheduled to gather at the residence when it was discovered that another relative who had not been invited was already in the home.

The first family member who arrived at the house on Saturday found the suspect inside and demanded that he leave. But the shooter refused and fatally shot her, cops said.

The following day, two more relatives arrived and found the door locked.

They texted the dear departed initial victim and received a response from her phone that the side door was open.

When they entered, the unidentified killer began attacking them, cops said.

Both were able to ultimately flee the scene after one pulled out their own firearm and distracted the estranged relative.

SWAT teams descended on the scene and called for the shooter to come out onto the street.

The officers eventually smashed their way into the house after they were unable to contact the suspect. Inside, they found him dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Escaped inmate Casey White charged with murder of ex-jail boss Vicky White
[NYPOST] Casey White, the Alabama convict who escaped prison with his jail boss-turned-lover Vicky White, was charged Tuesday with felony murder in her death.

The charge was announced by Lauderdale County District Attorney Chris Connolly, according to AL.com.

Casey White and Vicky White, who were not related, were on the lam for 11 days after Vicky helped him escape Lauderdale County Jail in Florence, Alabama, where she was a corrections officer.

They were caught on May 9 in Indiana, after Casey crashed his car during a police chase and Vicky fatally shot herself in the head.

It’s not clear if the murder charge for Casey means prosecutors have changed their account of how the prison guard died but felony murder charges are filed when a murder is committed in the commission of a felony.

He is also facing charges of first-degree escape.

He is currently serving time for a 2015 crime spree and facing a capital murder charge, which is expected to go to trial at the end of this year.

Casey’s former lawyer, Dale Bryant, has said the inmate "suffers from a mental illness."

"When he’s on medication and in a supervised environment ... he’s a decent person," Bryant said. "When he gets out of incarceration, he is unable to stay on his medication and he even self-medicates by smoking methamphetamine or taking other illegal substances."

...May well be true. It's also most definitely irrelevant at this point.

Bragg says he's 'absolutely' considering dropping murder charges against Jose Alba
[NYPOST] Embattled Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg told a group of bodega owners Tuesday that there is "absolutely" a chance he may drop the murder charge against worker Jose Alba, although he left himself plenty of wiggle room to still continue with the controversial case.
A chance? Somewhat greater than zero but not a likelihood? Golly.
Bragg has been barraged from all sides, including by Mayor Eric Adams, for charging Alba with the rap even though surveillance video clearly shows the Manhattan worker being attacked by an ex-con, who the clerk ended up stabbing in alleged self-defense.

The United Bodegas of America’s closed door-sit-down with Bragg at his Manhattan office was "very, very good," with the DA telling the group that Alba, 61, could see charges against him dropped, said Fernando Mateo, the group’s rep, after the huddle.

"We felt very good because his tone was very soothing. His demeanor was very direct, and he said, ’I don’t understand why people are jumping to conclusions. I have not made a determination. I am investigating,’" Mateo recalled Bragg saying when asked about Alba’s case.

"I asked, ’Do the possibilities exist that you will drop these charges?’ And he said, ’Absolutely.’"

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
Ukraine launches a counteroffensive
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Commentary by Russian writer Irina Alksnis

by Irina Alksnis

[Ria] Kyiv launched a counter-offensive - so far informational, but it has already made a lot of noise. Interviews with the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov were published immediately in the American The Wall Street Journal and the British The Times.

In the first publication, Reznikov, recognizing the heavy losses and depletion of the resources of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, emphasized the need for new arms supplies from the West. But in the second article, he made a statement that received the widest response.

According to the minister, the Ukrainian army is forming "million-strong combat forces equipped with Western weapons" to fulfill Volodymyr Zelensky 's order to "liberate" the southern coastal regions, "vital to the country's economy." He clarified where the figure he named of a million military personnel came from: the number of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reaches 700 thousand people, plus the National Guard, the police and the border service, which can also be involved in hostilities.

Almost simultaneously with Reznikov's interview, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Irina Vereshchuk appealed to residents of the southern, Russian -controlled territories with an appeal to urgently leave them because of the counteroffensive planned by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. True, she did not specify the timing of this event, but she created the impression that this could happen in the very near future.

In Russia, it is customary to make fun of the Ukrainian elites - and this is largely true. In many ways, but not in everything. What cannot be taken away from Kiev is skillful work in the information field. In its own way, it is logical that a successful showman and comedian turned out to be at the head of Ukraine, that is, a person who professionally works with the audience and knows how to manipulate it.

And there is another point in connection with which the Kyiv authorities are often underestimated. Usually they are perceived as absolute puppets of the West (primarily Washington and London ), completely devoid of their own will and meekly fulfilling the instructions coming from there.

This is a mistake - and a big one.

In fact, the Ukrainian elites are not completely, but to a large extent subjective and always guided primarily by personal interests. At the same time, being frankly narrow-minded and uneducated as statesmen (which, in fact, led the Ukrainian state to a sad result), they compensate for this with cunning and extreme persistence in defending their own.

That is why the West was forced in 2014 to build a complex system of management of the newly acquired vassal in the Ukrainian direction, since he managed to torpedo any initiatives of the overlord, if they contradicted his interests. This mainly concerned the cutting of budgets, theft of assets and valuable resources.

So, the main current interest of the Ukrainian elites is the continuation of the war. And it is no coincidence that right now Kyiv has made a powerful information volley, and at once in all directions: both in the Western audience, and in the intra-Ukrainian, and in the Russian, and in the people living in the liberated territories.

The reason is the steady deterioration of Ukrainian affairs.

Disorder and vacillation have begun in the Western establishment, and they are becoming more and more obvious and visible even to the naked eye. If on February 24 all political forces there merged in an anti-Russian rage, now Russophobic enthusiasm is waning day by day.

Western Europe , which beat its chest and swore that it was about to give up Russian gas and oil, is now hysterical at the prospect that this can indeed happen - and is trying to carefully disown the most radical anti-Russian steps. The opinion of Eastern Europe , of course, does not interest anyone.

The British, led by the frantic Boris, were Ukraine's mainstay in the Old World. But Johnson has "gone", and there are disturbing rumors that the British, who are being swept up by the socio-economic storm, may now prefer a less "hawkish" figure in the premier's chair, who will deal primarily with domestic problems.

Overseas, their difficulties, which threaten a grandiose failure of the Democratic Party in the November midterm elections. And the course of the Ukrainian campaign does not help in any way in solving problems and, on the contrary, threatens to become another weight by the fall that will drown Biden's party comrades.

At the same time, the entire Western media mainstream is already declaring in unison that Ukraine is not only losing at the front, but in principle has no chance of winning.

Of course, there are forces in the West - and very influential ones - who still rely on the continuation of hostilities and a military victory for Ukraine, but the anti-Russian consensus of the West is crumbling before our eyes. Moreover, one does not have to be a visionary to predict that the situation will worsen in this sense every week. This means that Kyiv will receive less and less support - for him, this is just a disaster.

That is why Reznikov's statement that Ukraine is assembling a millionth military fist, and even equipped with Western weapons, sounded right now. It should contain the processes of disintegration of the anti-Russian coalition and push the doubting governments to a new wave of assistance to Kyiv, both military and financial.

It is no coincidence that the emphasis on the fact that the goal of the coming counter-offensive is the southern coastal territories, which are key to the Ukrainian economy. Over the months of the NMD, the West has managed to feel how heavy a suitcase without a handle is Ukraine, deprived of the most important regions from an economic point of view. After all, what was good about the post-Maidan period - thanks to its geographical location and Soviet legacy, Ukraine not only supported itself, but was also a Klondike for plunder by the Western establishment. Now, in order for Kyiv to continue to serve as a weapon against Russia, it has to give money. And the fact that it is formally on credit does not console anyone - it is clear that these debts are irrecoverable.

So the West, or rather, the Western elites that have begun to waver, are the main target of the current information attack. In front of them, Ukraine hung a carrot: here we have a million-strong army almost at the ready, which will liberate Kherson and Mariupol , just give us more money and weapons.

However, being the main one, the West is not Kyiv's only target. In parallel, he tries to kill a few more birds with one stone.

Bravura statements about the coming counteroffensive work to support public mobilization within Ukraine. This is becoming more and more relevant as information about the plight at the front and the huge losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine leaks out, despite heavy censorship and the operation of the Ukrainian brainwashing machine at full capacity.

In addition, this is an attempt to demoralize Russian society and - especially - people in the liberated territories, to sow anxiety and uncertainty in them. There are regular terrorist attacks against officials working in the new administrations. Plus, rumors are being actively launched that Russia will leave there, and Kyiv will return and massacre everyone who somehow cooperated and came into contact with the Russians.

So the speeches of Reznikov and Vereshchuk in this sense are a competent informational sabotage, which should not be underestimated. Such actions of Kyiv must be given a powerful and qualified rebuff.

As for the feasibility of Kyiv's plans for a real "reconquest" of the southern regions, then it is worth advising him not to say "gop."

Russia began the reunification of Russians and Ukrainians
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[REGNUM] A year ago, on July 12, 2021, Russian President Vladimir Putin published an article "On the historical unity of Russians and Ukrainians." The material first appeared on the president's official portal kremlin.ru and was immediately available not only in Russian, but also in Ukrainian.
The translated text of Putin's article can be found here.
Putin cited historical excerpts and analyzed important milestones of the past, posing the main question of Russian history - the unity of the people. And although the article concerned a bygone era, it predetermined and explained the further course of events.

The head of state is convinced that Russians and Ukrainians are one people who were together in the days of Ancient Russia, but were artificially divided. The dominant table in those years was located precisely in Kyiv, and later, when it was time to collect Russian lands, in Moscow.

"Both Russians, Ukrainians, and Belarusians are the heirs of Ancient Russia, which was the largest state in Europe. Slavic and other tribes in a vast area - from Ladoga, Novgorod, Pskov to Kyiv and Chernigov - were united by one language (now we call it Old Russian), economic ties, and the power of the princes of the Rurik dynasty. And after the baptism of Russia - and one Orthodox faith. The spiritual choice of St. Vladimir, who was both Novgorod and the great Kiev prince, and today largely determines our relationship," the president wrote.

As a result of fragmentation and after the invasion of Batu, the western lands ended up first in Lithuania, and then in the Commonwealth. For several centuries in these lands of Russia there were processes of Polonization and Latinization, the transition of the Orthodox flock to Catholicism. The response was the outbreak of a liberation movement, when supporters of Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytsky tried to achieve rights for the Russian Orthodox population and autonomy. As a result, together with Moscow, they managed to liberate a vast part of the occupied Russian territories, including Kyiv, Chernigov and Zaporozhye.

Further processes of "Ukrainization", attempts to divide the Russian people, took place under the influence of other countries. Primarily Poland and Austria-Hungary. At the same time, the current state of Ukraine was formed already in the Soviet years. It included part of Bessarabia, the Russian lands returned by Poland, Northern Bukovina, Transcarpathia, Snake Island, and the Crimean peninsula.

"Thus, modern Ukraine is entirely the brainchild of the Soviet era. We know and remember that to a large extent it was created at the expense of historical Russia. It is enough to compare which lands were reunited with the Russian state in the 17th century and with which territories the Ukrainian SSR left the Soviet Union," the article says.

The President explained why Ukraine could not take place as a separate state. Having turned away from Russia, it has become an instrument in the hands of the West, with which it is trying to put pressure on our country. The huge wealth that the Soviet republic possessed was squandered, the economy was destroyed, and the rupture of economic ties between Ukraine and the Russian Federation was a blow. Weakened state institutions, increased external influence on decision-making. Against this background, radicals behaved more and more impudently in society, and threats against Moscow were heard more and more clearly from Kyiv.

Does the West need the inhabitants of Western Russia? As history shows, part of the Russian people, which is called Ukrainians, is just a geopolitical tool, whose interests are not thought of in foreign capitals. Poland, as once the Commonwealth, is not ready for the autonomy of Ukraine, in Austria-Hungary the Russian lands were the poorest and were mercilessly exploited. Washington, London and Brussels have built an “anti-Russia” and are throwing Ukrainians under bullets and shells like cannon fodder.

For Russia, Ukrainians are native. Another confirmation of this was the recent decree of the President of the Russian Federation on the simplified acquisition of Russian citizenship by Ukrainians. Previously, residents of the DPR, LPR, as well as the liberated territories of the Kherson, Zaporozhye and Kharkov regions had such an opportunity. Now everyone who was born in Ukraine is equal in rights.

The special military operation that Russia is conducting in Ukraine is directed against the neo-Nazi regime. Civilians can count not only on the support and protection of a strong state, the opportunity to return to Russian society and culture, but also on equal rights with other Russians. Russian citizenship will open the freedom of employment and independent economic activity, provide access to social services and pensions.

The fact that Russians and Ukrainians are one people is not only spoken in Russia, but also shown in practice.

Chinese food in America — when prepared by Chinese for Chinese — is better than almost all Chinese food in China because American ingredients are considerably less polluted... and more refrigerated. What was served to the emperor and the top echelon can be assumed to be a different class than what’s available to everyone else.

Political Corruption in The Netherlands and How the Dutch Farmer Protest Connects to the Burning of The Picnic Grocery Distribution Center
See also here.
[ConservativeTreehouse] You might have heard about an online grocery distribution center called Picnic in the Netherlands burning to the ground {LINK}. The backstory of how the Picnic operation connects to the Dutch government is fascinating, and with context it looks like Picnic was targeted as part of the Dutch farmer protest.

In the Netherlands the government official who organized the regulations to take farmland from farmers and reduce their livestock is a politician named Christianne van der Wal-Zeggelink {wiki link}. Mrs van der Wal-Zeggelink is the current Minister for Nature and Nitrogen Policy in the Dutch cabinet of Prime Minister Mark Rutte.

Minister Christianne van der Wal-Zeggelink and Prime Minister Mark Rutte are climate activists, so it makes sense that the "Minister of Nitrogen Policy" would be the person who would attempt to reduce nitrogen by targeting the farmers. It is Mrs. van der Wal-Zeggelink who created the regulations that the farmers are protesting.

Now, stay with me... Christianne van der Wall-Zeggelink is married to Piet van der Wal, an heir to the wealth of the family who owns a supermarket chain called Boni. {citation} So, when Dutch farmers sell product to Boni they are directly funding the wealth of the government minister who seeks to destroy their livelihoods.

Additionally, when Dutch shoppers spend their money at the Boni supermarket they are funding the family of the government minister who is seeking to destroy the farmers who provide the food to the supermarkets. Do the Dutch farmer blockades of the supermarkets and distribution centers make more sense now?

Here is where it gets interesting.... The supermarket chain Boni is one of a small group of four big investors in the online supermarket chain Picnic. {citation} The van der Wal family was part of a group of investors in 2015 and 2019 who generated €450 million for the Picnic grocery operation.

Texas death row inmate asks governor to delay his execution by 30 days to donate a kidney before his execution 'to atone for his crimes'
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Why not both kidneys with a liver, heart and lungs, with eyes?
  • Ramiro Gonzales, 39, has asked Gov. Greg Abbott for a 30-day delay so that he can donate his kidney

  • Gonzales has Type B blood, an extremely rare blood type the organ recipients wait for years to receive

  • Judith Frith of Washington state has been waiting four years for a compatible kidney

  • She wrote to Abbott pleading for him to allow the convicted killer and rapist to be allowed to donate

  • The Texas Board of Pardons and Parole denied a request for a 180-day reprieve

  • Gonzales killed Bridget Gonzales, the 18-year-old girlfriend of his drug dealer, after tying her hand and feet and raping her

  • Anti-death penalty advocates say this is not an attempt to delay his execution

  • He recently won a case that would require his spiritual advisor to be at his side during his execution

  • Gonzales is scheduled to be put to death on July 13 unless Abbott intervenes

  • The governor has not responded to the death row prisoner's request

Do you mean muscle memory, Dron? Training a series of motions until it no longer requires conscious thought to execute, just starting the first step in the sequence? Examples are martial arts forms, choreographed dances, playing a piece of music.

Or possibly Aca Joe was referring to epigenetic learning. This is from a few years ago:

Inherited Learning? It Happens, but How Is Uncertain

Studies suggest that epigenetics allows some learned adaptive responses to be passed down to new generations. The question is how.

Basically the theory of cellular memory suggests that it isn't only the brain that is capable of storing and recalling experiences. Rather, the body itself can hold memories.
Now rebranded as body memory.

#17  No, TW. Body memory is a hypothetical concept by weed-cake eating new age scientists. They like to believe that the entire body is storing long term implicit memories including emotional responses to stimuli and the conditioning to pre-empt such thereof.

Muscle memory is natural conditioning of motor nerves and development of kinesics on repeated movements.

While some geniuses say our emotional states and semantic or long term memories, basically our persona is being distributed all over the body via somatic markers that link emotions to biological changes. Something like that, I still can't pin it down to any coherent theory, just like any new age hypothesis. But one crazed dogma that could arise from that is, that a psychopathic paedophile's heart or liver may bring with it not just a lease of life for a recipient but also a little implicit assholery, or viscerally remembered happy happy expectations of dopamine at seeing little girls cry.

Scientists taught some rats to negotiate a maze. Then they ground up and minced the rats, made nice slim jims outta them and fed 'em to new, clueless rats. Well, what do you know, the rats went through the maze in one try!

And they all but concluded that the dead rats' meat still held the memory of the maze. Brrrr...

#24  The epigenetic carriage of essential survival characteristics vital to all organisms is not concerned with semantic or cultural memories, as most people like to refer to in conversation. We just say that... genetic memory... for basically what is classical conditioning that starts at at infancy. In reality the cellular memory passed down in the DNA is mostly carrying only vital information about dietary habits, geographic situation, basically what the body should expect to encounter. As I understand it.

Starbucks closing 16 stores in L.A, other cities due to employee safety concerns
[YouTube] Starbucks is shutting down 16 of its stores, six of which are in Los Angeles.
Followed by Seattle, then Portland, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC.
More from the New York Post:
Starbucks to close 16 US stores because of crime, rampant drug use

[NYPOST] Starbucks is shuttering 16 store locations nationwide after store managers reported a surge in drug use among customers and outsiders as well as an increase in crime in certain areas.

Six Starbucks locations will be closed in the company’s hometown of Seattle and six more will be shuttered in the Los Angeles metro area.

Two Starbucks restaurants will cease operating in Portland, Ore., while one store each will close in Philadelphia and Washington, DC, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Store managers have complained to company executives that employees have not felt safe amid a surge of assaults, thefts and drug use in and around each location.

The company responded by giving store managers discretion to deny free access to the store’s bathrooms, which are open to the public as per corporate policy, according to the Seattle Times.

Last month, Starbucks interim CEO Howard Schultz said the company was rethinking its "open bathroom" policy due to mounting concerns about public safety.

#8  Back in the day, I visited an inner city Detroit package store to buy liquor underage. The employees were behind bullet-proof glass and the transaction was made through a teller trap door rig that used to be common at bank windows. Several years later I had to make a similar but legal transaction through a like contraption at a Churches Fried Chicken. That gave me a strong indication that my hunger had lured me to a very wrong neighborhood. I see a future SF Starbucks where people are getting their Grande Macchiato through the same bulletproof trapdoor. Hipster ambiance at its best.

#9  ^ Going to the liquor store in Cleveland was like that when I was in college in the late 1970s. There was one bottle of each product behind glass, with a tag that had the stock number and unit price. You wrote stock number, price and quantity on a little form with a golf pencil and took it to the cashier, who sent a runner for your booze.

I discovered after a while I could write the stock number and what I wanted to pay (within the bounds of credibility) and get the desired result every time.

Bucharest to check information about Romanian mercenaries fighting in Ukraine
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[REGNUM] The Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs will check the reports of a number of Western media about Romanian citizens allegedly fighting in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and draw their own conclusions from the current situation. On July 12, a source in the Romanian Foreign Ministry told a REGNUM correspondent about this.

According to the British newspaper The Guardian, during the special military operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, 21 Romanian citizens were killed. There is no independent confirmation of this information.

Earlier, official Bucharest declared its non-interference in the situation in Ukraine.

Russian General Killed With U.S.-Supplied Missiles, Ukraine Says
Getting it on record. Hattip Matt.
[MSN] Serhiy Bratchuk, front man for the Odessa regional military, wrote on Telegram about the "liquidation" of Major General Artem Nasbulin, the chief of staff of the 22nd Army Corps "after HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) missiles hit the headquarters in the Kherson region" of southern Ukraine.

It came as Ukraine released footage it said showed a HIMARS attack on a mobile command post in Tavriis'k, in the Kherson region.

If confirmed, Nasbulin could be the ninth Russian general to have died since the start of the invasion on February 24, according to one estimate. Ukraine's claims that it has killed Russian commanders give its forces a considerable PR boost although most of them have not been confirmed by Moscow and Russia's Defense Ministry, which Newsweek has contacted, rarely comments on such losses.

The Telegram post was from Monday night but it was not clear when the attack took place.

Ukraine has said that it has carried out significant strikes against Russian forces using the HIMARS system which is part of a package of military support announced by the U.S. The weapons can hit targets at a range of 50 miles, which is much further than the M777 howitzers, which the U.S. has also given Ukraine.

-War on Police-
'Shut up b***h!' Toddler swings at Minnesota cops executing a murder warrant in lawless St Paul where crime has soared since the killing of George Floyd
Punt!
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Disturbing footage has emerged of a toddler cursing and swinging at cops while adults in the background hurled racist slurs in St. Paul, Minnesota, where crime has soared since the killing of George Floyd in 2020.

The footage was recorded last week while police were at a home to serve a search warrant in the hunt for a murder suspect, according to local news outlet Alpha News.

The 30-second clip shows the unnamed boy standing in the street in his underwear, barefoot, screaming: 'Shut up b***h!' at a black police officer and telling him to 'shut the f**k up!'

He then turned to the other cop and made fun of his 'ugly a** shoes', while other barefoot and barely-dressed kids stood around him.
Sounds like a verbally precocious little thing. The trailing daughters couldn’t have done that at that age..
More disturbing is the commentary in the background of the video from what sounds like an adult male who called the black police officer 'Oreo head'.

It's unclear where the child's parents were, or who the subject of the murder warrant was.

Crime in the Twin Cities soared in the wake of the 2020 unrest that followed George Floyd's killing by cops, so much so that St. Paul increased its police funding in 2021.

There are now 620 sworn officers in the city of 305,877.

Objective proof that doesn't work, decade after decade, has been ignored and buried because from the onset, it has been a political motive, not a benevolent one. -Short Attention Span Theater-
Experts slam US response to monkeypox as a 'failure' because public health officials and bureaucrats did not ramp up testing or acquire vaccines in time to control virus: America's infection tally reaches 866

Currently a disease of the adventurously promiscuous, according to reports. Monogamous homosexuals appear no more at risk than their monogamous heterosexual peers.
  • Public health officials in the U.S. are being slammed by many experts over their failure to handle the recent monkeypox outbreak

  • Testing for the virus in America has been limited and fractured - likely allowing the virus to spread undetected

  • Access to vaccines has been limited as well, and when they do become available there is rarely enough supply to meet surging demand

  • Some fear that the un-surveilled spread will allow for the virus to become endemic in the United States

866 cases since 2021.
CDC Info

Plus, as we know the latest outbreak was traced directly to the LGB-T? community.

BTW: this isn't the USA's 1st Monkey Pox Rodeo, there was one back around 2003-2004 a few cases prior to that also.

Might as well, since the democrat doesn't believe in helping America, or Americans. I suspect they would rather spend the money on 'war' stuff and try to figure out how to get it in their pockets instead.

Boris Rozhin interview: The farther we go west, the better
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Text of an interview of Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin by Yuri Kotenok. Rozhin's commentary in plain typeface.

by Yuri Kotenok

[ASDNews] Russia has not yet used its potential in the Ukrainian theater

Military expert on the nature of hostilities in the former Ukraine, threats and prospects for a protracted conflict on the southwestern borders of Russia, the chances of the parties and the new Iron Curtain.

- How much has the counteroffensive potential of the Armed Forces of Ukraine decreased compared to the plans for July and August, which were announced in April and early May?

- Obviously, this process is a two-way traffic. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to form reserves for offensive operations, and the RF Armed Forces both strike at these reserves and force the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to transfer reserves to strengthen the front and compensate for losses.

Nevertheless, the intentions of the enemy are obvious, and by the end of the summer he will probably try to organize a local offensive operation.

The most likely directions are Krivorozhsko-Nikopolskoye (in order to cut off the bridgehead of the RF Armed Forces on the right bank of the Dnieper and reach Kherson) and Zaporozhye (Vasilyevka-Orekhov-Gulyaipole section) by the forces of several battalion tactical groups, which will be supported by a significant artillery grouping and the remaining aircraft.

- The Armed Forces of Ukraine began to work precisely on military warehouses. There is an opinion that the Russian Army can be covered by shell hunger. Is it so?

- Taking into account the fact that the main calibers are 122-152mm plus missiles for the Grad MLRS, the destruction of several warehouses from the point of view of the total stocks is not very important. It is fundamental that the destruction of front-line warehouses makes it difficult to develop offensive operations, since artillerymen have to simply wait for new ammunition cars to be delivered to them together with the destroyed wagons of ammunition, and at this time the intensity of the work of artillery and MLRS in some areas may decrease.

So far, this has more of a tactical effect, but in the future, the systematic nature of such attacks on ammunition depots and fuel and lubricants may also have operational consequences in some areas.

- Why didn’t they hit Zmeiny right at the moment of landing, not even allowing them to be photographed with the flag? No opportunities? Or overlooked?

- According to official data, the blow was delivered after the photo shoot. Just like the group that installed the border post stolen in the Kharkiv shopping center was fired upon after the photo session and suffered losses.

From a military point of view, these are few fundamental points, since in the current realities it is fully controllable about. Serpentine can not both sides. The RF Armed Forces can also deliver their flag there for photographs, take it off and leave at the risk of receiving ammunition from the UAV.

- Will it be possible to drive the Armed Forces of Ukraine out of Slavyansk according to the "Lysychansk" scenario, or will a "second Mariupol" and the complete destruction of the city await us?

Promising is the semi-coverage of Slavyansk with the occupation of the adjacent heights, starting from the same Karachun.

Ultimately, Slavyansk itself is less suitable for defense than Severodonetsk or Mariupol. As it appears.

The main stake of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be placed on the defense of the Kramatorsk region, and in the event of a threat of encirclement, they may well surrender Slavyansk, as they surrendered most of Rubizhne and Severodonetsk. The city itself, in any case, will certainly suffer greatly during the fighting, so it is better for civilians to leave Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Druzhkovka, Konstantinovka, Artemovsk and Soledar in advance. These n.p. are the unconditional targets of the 2nd stage of the NWO, and they will be released one way or another, regardless of the resistance of the enemy.

- How likely is it that after the final liberation of the DPR and Zaporizhia, the SVO will be suspended in favor of political games?

It seems that the war will not be stopped by the United States, and it will continue after the liberation of the occupied territories of the DPR.

The military-political leadership of the Russian Federation, most likely, after the completion of the 2nd stage, will once again probe the possibility of negotiations with even worse conditions for Ukraine and, in the event of a completely expected refusal, will proceed to the 3rd stage of the NWO.

Perhaps the political changes in the United States this autumn may change this vector of events. But so far, there are no visible prerequisites for the end of the war after the completion of operations in the Donbass.

- Kyiv, the West announce strikes on the Crimean bridge. How real are the threats? What will Russia do and will these measures be belated given the enemy's attempts to seize the initiative?

In the case of receiving new long-range missiles, such a strike is quite likely from Zaporozhye. Of course, such a strike will be carried out with the knowledge and approval of NATO, with all possible assistance with target designation.

The probability of attempting such a strike in the coming months should be regarded as quite high.

The lack of clear reactions to such an attack, if it occurs, in practical terms, is likely to lead to further strikes deep into the territory of the Russian Federation. Information preparation for the possibility of such a development of events is already being carried out by mainstream Western media.

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are reasonably taking measures to strengthen the protection of such facilities.

“Looks like we're in for a long war. Calculation of the enemy on the depletion of the Russian Federation. And what are our reserves, given the shortage of human resources?

The Russian Federation does not have a shortage of human resources, as such. The numerical disproportion is formed from the limitations of the SVO format and the decision not to mobilize.

The mobilization potential of the Russian Federation is significantly higher than that of Ukraine. This is the huge reserve of Russia, which has not even been used even close, since at the current stage the stake is made on the contract army, various volunteer formations and PMCs.

In the long run, with the involvement of the Russian mob potential, Ukraine will lose in any case, especially if the pace and volume of grinding the enemy’s manpower is increased.

- Speaking to the leaders of the factions of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin made it clear that Russia has not really started a war yet. What do we have in stock from a military point of view?

In addition to a huge mobilization resource, the Russian Federation can also use huge stocks of conventional weapons and ammunition for a long time as part of the process of grinding the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Unlike Ukraine, the Russian Federation has every opportunity to produce the necessary weapons domestically, while most of the Ukrainian military industry has already been destroyed. For the most part, Ukraine depends on foreign supplies, which even now cannot compensate for all the losses incurred.

Of course, all this does not negate the use of the latest types of non-nuclear weapons within the framework of the military-industrial complex's ability to increase their production.

- If the statement about a new redistribution of the world in connection with the hostilities in Ukraine is true, then what configurations in the Eurasian space and at its borders should Russia be ready for? And where will its borders be?

The new borders of the Russian Federation in Ukraine will pass where our Armed Forces stop. The further they move west, the better.

It is important to understand that the final line of contact by the end of the war will become part of the New Iron Curtain, which will most likely be mothballed for decades. Therefore, without achieving the desired goals by military means, it is not advisable to make peace in an unsuitable configuration of the future state border.

Ultimately, now a lot depends on our army, which solves problems of a historical nature and directly affects what the fate of Russia will be in the 20-30s. XXI century.
