#5 The ship sailed on doing anything about Qadaffi a long time ago.

Perhaps Reagan and Bush43 knew something when they didn't take Qadaffi out when they had the chance.

I think Qadaffi is a dangerous megomaniac of the worst and most toxic narcissistic forms but like Tito he's kept a lid on some really nasty irrational groups lurking about. When a strong man leaves, the groups come out of their burrows and the resulting settling of old feuds leads to vast amounts of blood shed. We are still trying to sort out the power vacuum that Tito left behind in the dear departed Yugoslavia.
I'm afraid that if this revolt takes hold in China and KSA, all hell will break loose economically.
Not to sound like an alarmist but we could be fighting at the gates of Vienna again very soon. It's time for us to develop some spine and some cajones on terrorism.
The leftists in the Democratic party fought Bush43 to a standstill on the GWOT and now its become an act of faith to treat terrorism as a non issue compared to gay rights, union pensions and government worker unions.

Kerry wants sanctions against Libya, or Kadaffy? What would they do either way, think they give a shit about badges?

Lose by 2 dozen in the public arena cc Egypt, punting on Baharain and Iran, gonna just stroll into the big times in Libya like a rhinestone cowboy, wow, the way you do the things you do.
