#4 Most of the school runs on US investment, from US student loans to research grants. Maybe we should immediately stop all payments to the students for loans, grants, and scholarships. Then move to pull the federal grants from the school and finally remove its tax exempt status.

#8 I don't get where Californians think like this and can rationalize their way to this. Its not just the Colleges. Remember back a year ago when the state decided to boycott Arizona because of our immigrant issues. They wanted to boycott all Arizona businesses. This was all grand and self gratifying until Jan Brewer, the AZ Gov, stood up and made a snark comment that she would be happy to shut off the AZ water and electricity going to CA and direct it elsewhere. Then their little reality crashed.

I sure would remove UC from it.
