#2 I don't think the Zaporozhe nuclear plant was used as an ammunition dump. The author ultimately doesn't offer an explanation for the attack, other than it was a nuclear plant.

#3 I believe the RU folks were using areas of that facility to launch their artillery/rocket attacks across the river as normal counter-battery by the UA would be a bad idea (so not a bad tactical strategy on the RU part).

The kamikaze drone attacks would be more precise and less likely to hit something critical.

#4 Other reports had the Russians storing ammunition there, because of the Ukrainian strikes against other ammunition dumps.
