When the President of the United States is tried, the Chief Justice shall preside: And no Person shall be convicted without the Concurrence of two thirds of the Members present.
That’s 66 senators. Will we have at least 66 Republican senators after the election in a few weeks? Will at least 66 of them be willing to convict? If not, it’s just as much Kabuki theater as the Democrats played at when they repeatedly impeached President Trump without being able to convict him.

When the President of the United States is tried, the Chief Justice shall preside. That didn't happen on hid second trial though he was not then President. Patrick Leahy (D- Vt.), the Senate President pro tempore, presided over the second trial. That's why many legal scholars say the second trial wasn't legal.

[PJMEDIA] During one of his podcasts, Victor Davis Hanson made a keen observation. That, in and of itself, is nothing new, but this remark was particularly apropos. Hanson commented that if one looks at Joe Biden’s career, one will see that he has never been a "good person." The onset of his dementia has simply made that character flaw harder to conceal.
That character flaw will be on display sometime this Monday. Biden, his cronies, and his handlers understand that they may not walk away with the midterm elections. Because they are worried about their sand castle getting washed out to sea, they are desperate. And desperate times call for desperate measures. And desperate people lack moral compasses. Yea, ok then, how about lets start a war or two. Something innovative and out-of-the-box ?
The Department of Justice is set to announce that it will address schemes and criminal activity that could affect the 2022 midterms. Official bulletins will follow. Of course. You had to know this was coming. I have said it before and will say it again: If these people cannot win you over, they will run you over. The major concerns include the potential for violence, false information, and the potential harassment of poll workers. The threat of foreign interference was downplayed by Jen Easterly, the director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. The biggest threat to "election infrastructure security" is allegedly homegrown.
Politico carried the story and dutifully and breathlessly cited two news sources covering the same report, Axios and 12News, about two armed individuals intimidating voters at drop boxes in Arizona. The incident involved "vigilantes" in "tactical gear." All the hallmarks of... MAGA REPUBLICANS. They called the incident "increasing reports."
Okay, Politico, you want to go there? Let’s go there.
Does anyone remember the incident in Philadelphia from the 2012 presidential election? You know, the one where armed members of the Black Panther Party showed up with guns at polling places? How about the prior race? If not, here is a snippet of the Washington Times story from November 6 of that year:
A reporter for Philadelphia Magazine found a "uniformed member of the New Black Panther Party" Tuesday morning at the entrance to a polling place in the 1200 block of Fairmount Avenue in Philadelphia. The reporter, Victor Fiorillo, told the man he was going to take his photograph.
’No pictures, please,’ he replied. When the reporter asked the black panther if he was there to provide security, the man replied, ’No comment.’
Other Black Panthers reportedly showed up at a second polling place in Philadelphia Tuesday morning.
On Election Day in 2008, three members of the New Black Panther Party stood outside a polling place in Philadelphia, with one of them brandishing a nightstick or baton. The Justice Department under President George W. Bush filed a civil complaint again three Black Panthers — Minister King Samir Shabazz, Malik Zulu Shabazz and Jerry Jackson — charging them with violating voter rights by using coercion, threats and intimidation. The Obama administration later dismissed most of the case, even though the Black Panthers had not contested the charges.
So, if the Black Panthers want to maintain a threatening presence at the polls complete with weapons, that is no big deal. After all, we had the best president in the history of the nation to elect and re-elect. Vote blue, citizen, and move along, nothing more to see here. Or just move along if you were planning on voting red. The Democrats clearly had no issue with non-state actors intimidating voters, since they were on the "right side" of history.
But two people in Maricopa County, two unidentified people for that matter, doing the same thing is a threat to the 2022 election? I am not supporting people intimidating voters whatever their political persuasion may be, but even the Left should be able to see the disconnect here. And they can, although they will never admit it.
According to the Axios story, the pair accused voters of being "mules." But this is an era of fake race hoaxes, increasing questions about the COVID-19 pandemic, a president who is barely aware of his surroundings and who is telling people being savaged by inflation that the economy is "strong as hell", and a press and an administration that have no concept of truth. Or that willfully ignore it to preserve the perks of privilege. Exaggeration is permitted. Lying is permitted. Weaponizing law enforcement is permitted. Ignoring the law is permitted, and violence is permitted. Nothing is off the table at this point. And more American people are figuring it out.

For the second time this week, election drop-off box spotters have caught someone pulling up to a drop box location in Arizona with their license plate covered.
Melody Jennings the founder of Clean Elections USA, an organization that aims to keep an eye on election drop-off boxes, posted on Truth Social a picture of a man at an undisclosed drop box in Arizona covering up his license plate.

Covering up a license plate in Arizona is completely illegal.
According to Arizona state law, “a person shall not apply a covering or any substance to the license plate or use an electronic device or electro-chromatic film that obscures from any angle the numbers, characters, year validating tabs or name of the jurisdiction issuing the plate.”
The big question is why would someone cover up their license plate while pulling up to a drop box location and the only logical answer to that question is they are more than likely conducting illegal activities such as ballot harvesting.
The GatewayPundit previously reported about a license plate being covered at a Phoenix drop box.
While patriots such as Melody Jennings are standing up for election integrity and are keeping watch over ballot boxes the left is attempting to demonize anyone that is keeping watch of ballot boxes.
Arizona Central reported that there have even been multiple police reports on ballot box spotters in Mesa, Arizona this week which goes to show those who are standing up for good are being deemed as evil and those who are evil are being paraded as good.

The Alaska GOP formally censured Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell over the weekend for the Kentucky lawmaker's interference in the Arctic Senate race between two Republicans.
On Monday, the state Republican central committee announced the results of an overwhelming vote to admonish the national party leader over attack ads against Kelly Tshibaka, the candidate endorsed by the Alaska GOP who is challenging incumbent Sen. Lisa Murkowski. The final vote came to 49-8 in favor of a resolution censuring McConnell and the minority leader's Senate Leadership Fund (SLF) which has pumped more than $5 million into the race to defend a key McConnell ally in the upper chamber.
"No one from Alaska wants big shots from the Lower 48 meddling in our elections, and they certainly don't want D.C. Republicans lying about the candidate who's been endorsed by the Alaska GOP," Mary Ann Pruitt, an advisor to Tshibaka, told The Federalist. "Alaska Republicans are telling Mitch McConnell to stay out of it. But this goes to show you who Lisa Murkowski is aligned with. She's wearing the jersey of the Washington establishment of Biden, Pelosi, and McConnell, and she's not on Alaska's team."
Lisa Murkowski just reached out to Democrats by endorsing the Democrat House candidate over either of the two Republicans running for Alaska House.
This is the Democrat-in-truth that McConnell is desperate to elect -- she's a leftwinger, but she's promised him her vote.
On Friday, Murkowski endorsed the state's Democrat Congresswoman Mary Peltola in the state's House race over former Republican governor and 2008 vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and Nick Begich, the other Republican in the contest.

Deficit in 2020 was about $3T ($2T for CARES Act signed by Trump)
Deficit in 2021 was about $2.8 T (about $2T for American Rescue Plan - Biden)
Deficit in 2022 is not really known but almost certainly over $1T with at least $10B for the CHIPS act, at least $20B for Inflation Reduction Act and, if he gets away with it, about $40B for Student Debt Bailout in that FY but with each of these comes huge outlays in future years to 2040)

[RedState] You knew something like this was coming, mostly because anyone with a brain could have predicted it. The DOJ has announced a major press conference on Monday afternoon to announce “malign influence schemes” by a “nation-state actor.”
The decision to make a big public spectacle was made by Attorney General Merrick Garland, who will be one of the speakers at the presser. And all of this is happening with only two weeks left before the mid-terms.
So what’s the big announcement that demanded a presser from the attorney general himself? I can’t say for sure, but one guess would be that they’ll either be some accusation of election interference by Russia or an accusation that another foreign actor is influencing our election via social media. We can rest assured that whatever is said will be used to cast doubt on the coming red, as the Democratic Party currently sits as a big underdog on the eve of the mid-terms.
Of course, the DOJ is supposed to have a policy that no public announcements be made that could possibly interfere in a coming election (I believe the cut-off is 60 days prior). That’s a rule that only seems to apply to Hunter Biden, though, who has still not been charged despite reports that the DOJ has had enough evidence to nail him for over a year.
So will this be another screaming session about “Russian collusion” mixed with a non-stop news cycle perpetrating such nonsense? That’s certainly possible.
But I digress, I could be misreading this and perhaps Garland is going to make a big show of telling us China paid off a Democrat congressional member or something. If I’m wrong, I’m wrong, and I’ll update this post accordingly.
Regardless, there is no reason to give the DOJ, which is hopelessly politicized, the benefit of the doubt in any situation. The DOJ and FBI have played the “foreign interference” card in an attempt to push Democrats into power prior to three straight elections now. We’ll see what they do this time.

This is a dumb but irrelevant play. The CCP is connected to Hunter Biden in many voter’s mind. It is like showing a mediocre baseball pitch well outside of the strike zone, a pure distraction. but The true October surprise that was planned was probably indicting Trump. That is akin to beaning Albert Belle. The result of a Trump indictment would br 100% MAGA turnout. I think they realize that there is no net gain on that path.
