For a Brief Moment Today, The Pretending Stopped – Scott Perry and Dan Bishop Go Full Wolverine Against Ridiculous Media Impeachment Defense of Joe Biden
[Last Refuge] The one thing I can tell you about this video is that North Carolina Representative Dan Bishop is part of team freedom. His articulate remarks to the insufferable questioning of the media are exactly how he feels.

Representatives Scott Perry and Dan Bishop both confront the pretending media with facts that destroy the argument in defense of Joe and Hunter Biden. This is what it looks like when representatives stop pretending and deliver the truth to a jaw-agape media. WATCH:

This is a MUST watch video.

Democratic Virginia House candidate performed sex acts with husband on webcam for 'tips'
[NYPOST] A Democratic candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates performed sex acts with her husband online — and asked her virtual audience to pitch in with "tips," The Post has learned.
tips like: "you're doing that wrong!"
Susanna Gibson, a mother of two young children who is running in a competitive race to represent District 57 in Richmond, showed quite a bit more than skin on the adult streaming website Chaturbate, according to screenshots of archived material reviewed by The Post.

The 40-year-old nurse practitioner hosted more than a dozen of the live romps with her husband on the platform, which was then posted to a publicly accessible archive on the website Recurbate in September 2022 after she declared her candidacy, the Washington Post first reported.

The unconventional candidate had more than 5,770 Chaturbate followers, whom she repeatedly pressed for more "tokens" in exchange for certain acts in "private" showings — adding that she was "raising money for a good cause."

In other videos, she suggested that she and her husband have "tried swapping" with different partners as she is "ethically non-monogamous," but that he "doesn’t like sharing."

California quietly disavows medical misinformation law before courts can strike it down
[JustTheNews] Repeal provision slipped into Medical Board of California reform bill in recent weeks, but no one is taking credit for it. 9th Circuit questioned law's constitutionality this summer.
Many things tried on the assumption that only some will succeed.
California's COVID-19 medical misinformation law, which threatens the licenses of doctors who deviate from a fluctuating "scientific consensus" in conversations with patients, got a frosty reception in front of trial and appeals courts this year.

Signed into law by Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom nearly a year ago, AB 2098 may not exist by the time judges get around to deciding its constitutionality.

A provision to repeal the law was apparently added to Senate Bill 815, which makes changes to the Medical Board of California, in late August or early September with the legislative session winding down. Nobody seems to know, or is willing to say, how it got there.

Jenin Younes and Laura Powell, lawyers for one set of doctors who obtained a preliminary injunction against the law in January, told Just the News they were blindsided by the repeal provision, saying it wasn't part of any settlement talks in their case.

"It's incredibly last minute," Powell said. "Thursday is the last day to vote on bills, and it has to be passed by both chambers. There's no opportunity for public input and debate."

"We are considering next steps" in the wake of this development, Younes said, with their motion for summary judgment due Oct. 2. "We are unlikely to move for dismissal at this time, certainly not until repeal is complete."

One of their arguments is that Newsom's signing statement that purportedly narrows the law's application has no legal effect.

Just the News could not get an explanation from SB 815's Senate sponsor or Assembly principal coauthor how, when and why the repeal provision got in the bill.

The California Medical Association, which supported the misinformation law, has been on the warpath against SB 815, in part because it would sharply raise doctors' license renewal fees.

Younes told Just the News she wonders whether the repeal provision is related to a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals hearing in a different lawsuit that went badly for the state. The provision wasn't in the July 12 bill version, five days before that hearing.

Judge Danielle Forrest repeatedly grilled Deputy Attorney General Kristin Liska, who claimed doctors could tell patients "garlic cures cancer" if the court struck down the law.

"You give some dramatic examples, and I understand why," said Forrest, appointed by President Trump but recommended by Oregon's Democratic senators. But disagreement on COVID "has existed even amongst the medical community about what we do about it."

The law refers to "consensus in the scientific community as though that's something different or in addition to the standard of care" doctors are already expected to follow, which "seems odd," Forrest said.

When Liska emphasized doctors were still free to "go on talk shows" and publish COVID research without fearing for their license, Forrest asked whether her pediatrician could get in trouble for telling her he didn't give the vaccine to his children. If that disclosure is "contradicted by the contemporary scientific consensus," it's possible, Liska said.

This troubled Judge Kathleen Cardone. "Isn't that exactly what they're worried about?" she asked, noting that Liska said statements that vaccines contain microchips and "children under a certain age shouldn't get them" could both trigger liability.

Another potential factor in the repeal provision was opposition from the ACLU of Northern California, which filed friend-of-the-court briefs in the four known lawsuits against AB 2098. Vaccine skeptic and Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. served as counsel on one of those suits, which was included in the same January preliminary injunction.

Ramaswamy says Trump was 'duped by the adviser class' ahead of policy speech on gutting FBI, other agencies
Dead man walking.
[FoxNews] Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy took a swipe against former President Trump for being "duped by the adviser class" ahead of his first major domestic policy speech laying out his plan to dismantle what he calls "the administrative state."

Ramaswamy, who has often praised Trump on the campaign trail as being the greatest president America has had in the 21st century, told Fox News Digital that even "good presidents" like him and Ronald Reagan were wrongly discouraged by their own staff to not use their authority in the executive branch to combat the size and power of the federal government.

"Good presidents from Trump to Reagan have been duped by the advisor class around them, saying that they can't do it. Well, it turns out they can. And as the next president, I will," Ramaswamy said in an interview. "That's what we will be laying out, not just the operational practicalities which we'll lay out but the more interesting part is how the advisers from the managerial swamp class told them they couldn't do it but I'm not going to be a president who just takes that answer at face value, because if you dig deeper, you realize that the president, under existing legal authority, absolutely has the authority to do it even without asking Congress for permission."

The 38-year-old political outsider offered a preview to Fox News Digital of Wednesday's speech that will be given at the America First Policy Institute in Washington D.C. The speech will unveil his plan to reorganize and shut down the FBI, the Department of Education, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the Department of Agriculture's Food and Nutrition Service, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). It's part of his campaign promise of eliminating 75% of federal employees by the end of his second term in 2033.

Ramaswamy says his plan will be a "template" to shut down other agencies he previously indicated he would get rid of like the IRS, CDC and United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

He anticipates that there will be many questions directed towards him about his vow to shut down the FBI, telling Fox News Digital his speech will "lay out exactly how we will reorganize the 35,000 plus employees who work at the FBI."

As part of his speech, Ramaswamy will unveil charts that will outline the legal basis he says he has and how the fund and resources previously allocated for each agency will be reorganized.

One chart first obtained by Fox News Digital shows his plans to reorganizing ATF's employees. 654 of the full-time employees who work in the AFT's arson and explosives unit will be redirected to the Department of Homeland Security, 668 who work in the criminal organizations unit will head to the Department of Justice, 50 in the financial investigation unit will be directed to the Treasury's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, 301 in firearms licensing unit will move to the US Marshall Service and the 1,802 from the firearms trafficking, tracing and possession division will be shuffled to the US Secret Service.

In a separate chart obtained by Fox News Digital, Ramaswamy will send $87 billion of the Food & Nutrition Services budget towards the Department of Health & Human Services and another $30 billion of its budget would be directed to DHS, touting a $42.3 billion "bureaucracy cut."

Ramaswamy shared one of his charts during his viral spat on Saturday with billionaire businessman Mark Cuban, who objected to the GOP hopeful's plan to shut down the Department of Education.

The chart showed how he intends to reassign the billions DoE issues in grants and loans to the State Department, Labor Department, the Treasury and the states, resulting in a $9 billion "bureaucracy cut."

Ramaswamy insists his use of executive authority and bypassing Congress in order to implement his agenda is "going to be a shock wave to the system."

"Everything I will be laying out is what I will do without asking Congress for permission or for forgiveness. That's a big deal here," Ramaswamy said. "Because every other president makes, I mean, even signature promises from 2016, ‘repeal and replace Obamacare,’ you can't make those promises because we don't know what Congress is going to agree to. Well, here, when it comes to running the executive branch of the government, that is something that I will be able to do in my capacity as the leader of the executive branch pursuant to Article Two of the Constitution and then the legal arguments debunk the classical myths that have, you know, really stopped presidents from Reagan all the way to Trump from being able to act."

One of those "myths" he claims to have debunked were the civil service protections that he accused the "adviser class" of telling Trump was the reason he could not shut down various agencies, saying those protections do not apply to "mass layoffs," something he considers a "reduction in force." He also pointed to provisions in the 1977 Presidential Reorganization Act that he says allow him to gut agencies "if they stimulate the economy or if they reduce redundancies in the federal government."

He also expressed confidence that any legal challenges brought against him by Democrats will ultimately be struck down by the Supreme Court.

"They gave Trump all the reasons why he couldn't do it. And what we're actually demonstrating is through a direct knowledge of the law, the answer is yes, we absolutely can," Ramaswamy said about the former president's advisers. "I'm an outsider, but I'm an outsider who also has a deep understanding of the laws and constitution of the country that will allow me to act with greater certitude."

Government Corruption
InfoWars Host Owen Shroyer Sentenced to 60 Days Prison over Capitol Riot
[Breitbart] InfoWars host Owen Shroyer was sentence to 60 days in federal prison on Tuesday over the January 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol, despite not stepping foot inside the Capitol building itself.

“I was not a part of any larger plan for illegal activity or violence that day,” Shroyer said at his sentencing hearing Tuesday morning. Still, U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly sentenced Shroyer to 60 days in prison.

Kelly recently sentenced former Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio to a record-high 22 years in prison over the Capitol riot.

Kelly sentenced Shroyer to 60 days prison over federal prosecutors’ request for 120 days.

“Shroyer helped create January 6,” federal prosecutors wrote in their sentencing memorandum. “The government respectfully requests that this Court sentence him to 120 days of incarceration, 12 months of supervised release, 60 hours of community service, and $500 in restitution.”

“In the months prior to January 6, Shroyer spread election disinformation paired with violent rhetoric to hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of viewers,” the government added.

In response to the government’s sentencing memorandum, Shroyer’s attorneys argued the government was infringing on Shroyer’s First Amendment right to free speech.

“Mr. Shroyer, and every person capable of speaking in the United States, has a right to utter the speech Mr. Shroyer used,” Shroyer’s attorneys argued. “That the Government would suggest otherwise is a frightening commentary on our times.”

“The Government’s sentencing memorandum is a shocking effort to criminalize dissent and warrants a stiff rebuke from this Court. Mr. Shroyer has every right to believe, and to assert to this very day, that the 2020 election was stolen,” they added.

Shroyer’s prosecution over the events of January 6, 2021, stems from a previous plea agreement Shroyer reached with federal prosecutors in 2019.

As NBC News detailed:

Owen Shroyer is one of only a handful of Jan. 6 participants charged with a crime despite neither entering the Capitol building nor being accused of committing violence or destruction on Capitol grounds. Prosecutors charged Shroyer because he had previously signed a deferred prosecution agreement after interrupting a congressional hearing in 2019 and had agreed as part of that case not to utter “loud, threatening, or abusive language, or to engage in any disorderly or disruptive conduct, at any place upon the United States Capitol Grounds.”

Roughly 1,100 defendants have been charged in connection with January 6, 2021. More than 600 have been sentenced, and of those, more than 370 have been sent to prison.

Biden claims he was at Ground Zero day after 9/11 — but his own book puts him in DC
[NYPOST] President Biden said Monday that he was at the World Trade Center site in New York City one day after the 9/11 attacks — despite his own autobiography placing him in DC.

The 80-year-old president also claimed he saw the fireball caused by the plane that struck the Pentagon in northern Virginia from Washington’s Union Station, when his own book says he merely saw "a brown haze of smoke."

"Ground Zero in New York — I remember standing there the next day and looking at the building. And I felt like I was looking through the gates of hell," Biden told US troops in Anchorage, Alaska, on the 22nd anniversary of the terrorist attacks.

"It looked so devastating because the way you could, from where you could stand. Shanksville, Pa., the Pentagon in Virginia — I spent many 9/11s in those hollow grounds to bear witness and remember those we lost," he went on.

Moments later, the president claimed that he saw the immediate aftermath of American Airlines Flight 77 striking the Pentagon.

"The plume of fire that shot up in the sky in Pentagon [sic] — I remember seeing as I got off the Amtrak train on my way to work in the United States Senate," Biden mused.

Border Patrol set ‘bookout' targets to bring migrant custody numbers to ‘manageable' levels amid new surge
[FoxNews] Border Patrol leadership last month set daily "bookout" targets for its sectors in order to keep escalating numbers of migrants in custody at a "manageable" level -- including potentially increasing releases into the U.S. interior -- as agents continue to see a rise in numbers at the southern border.

An internal Aug. 8 email from an acting deputy chief to Border Patrol field chiefs and deputies says that sectors are facing an influx that is outpacing the numbers of migrants being either released or transferred to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for removal.

The email, obtained by Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody’s office, says daily encounters "[continue] to surpass the daily permanent bookouts and the in-custody numbers continue to rise creating significant risks to agents and detainees."

"This level of detention numbers has also resulted in increased manpower requirements impacting border security efforts."

Consequently, the agency proposes "daily bookout targets" per sector "to bring in-custody numbers to manageable levels" based on 7-day averages. It then says that, if "consequence pathways" such as expedited removal are not available, then releasing migrants with Notices to Appear (NTA/OR) at a future court date should be used.

"We respectfully request that you urgently use these bookout targets to formalize your daily processing pathway plans, to include transitioning to NTA/OR when consequence pathways are not sufficient."

The memo says that those released should be enrolled in Alternatives to Detention "where operationally feasible."

The email was obtained by Moody’s office as part of ongoing litigation. Florida is suing the administration over its release of migrants into the interior. It successfully blocked a policy by which migrants were released without court dates due to overcrowding pending an ongoing challenge. In a statement, she suggested the move marked the implementation of "mass release quotas" for migrants.

"This latest email is further proof of the disastrous cycle created by Biden’s intentional destruction of our border with Mexico. Biden cuts resources, opens the border, and then releases detainees while claiming there is not enough detention capacity to prevent the unprecedented flood of migrants entering the country because of his terrible policies," she said.

"With every passing day it is becoming more obvious that the border crisis is being intentionally orchestrated by the Biden administration. We will continue to do everything in our power to push back and let the American people know what Biden is doing."

However, a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) spokesperson told Fox News Digital that Border Patrol has "merely directed sectors to process individuals faster into the range of immigration pathways available, in order to address increasing numbers of individuals in custody."

"These bookouts include processing record numbers of migrants into Expedited Removal and conducting record numbers of removal flights," the spokesperson said.

Republicans have hammered the Biden administration on the border crisis, blaming the record migrant numbers on the policies it has implemented after reversing Trump-era policies.

The Biden administration has pushed back, accusing Republicans in Congress of having failed to approve funding to handle the crisis (including a recent $4 billion as part of its supplemental funding request) and of having failed to work with the administration to pass legislation to fix what it says is a "broken" system. It has also said that it has removed or returned more than 245,000 migrants since May when the Title 42 public order expired, including more than 19,000 family unit members.

Meanwhile, signs are pointing to continually higher numbers, which had dropped in June but increased in July and reportedly increased in August. Fox reported last month that major border sectors were either at capacity or nearing it.

CBP sources told Fox News that on Monday, Border Patrol apprehended more than 7,300 illegal immigrants (not including those who evaded custody or appeared at ports of entry). CBP now has over 22,000 migrants in custody, the sources said.
