America is a food exporter. If Bill Gates is able to throttle back production, the result will be starvation in the third world where fertility rates are higher. That probably sounds like a conspiracy, but it matches everything Bill has said publicly over the years.

I think that they would like to do the convention swap. Biden is not viable without a steal so massive that everyone would know. Near the end of his career, I saw famous spitballerGaylord Perry get tossed from a Mariners game for throwing a strike out curve that dropped like a whiffle ball. Gaylord didn’t protest and there was no protest from the dugout. The 2020 theft was at the hairy edge of what the gen pop of the US would accept peacefully. The Dems have a real problem.

The actual problem is "Dr" Jill is dug in talons and toenails. She has made it to the top of the status heap.

The biggest problem may be that they have no viable candidates with a better chance to win than Biden. Manchin might get votes in the Midwest but not enough to carry any state against Trump. Manchin is too moderate to fire up the radical Dem base. Newsom, Michelle or Hillary have extremely negative favorability statistics in Ohio and Florida. Newsom probably has the fewest states that he could carry. Their overall plan of putting Trump in a slepper hold appears not to have worked.
They will certainly cheat, but the cheating is limited to the number of absentee ballots they can issue to people that don’t vote in the states that they are targeting. That is why they are attacking True The Vote in Georgia.

They would not be panicking unless their internal numbers showed they can't cheat enough this time.
Which just means "by any other means" will be in play...

I think they will push the cheating past all reason and use the Dominion systems to literally count whatever is needed. In past years, I would have felt confident that they would rightfully fear the explosive reaction of the American public to such outright theft. Now, I am not sure they fear it as much as they fear losing power and the deserved Inquisition-level investigations that would follow. We are at a tinder-box moment already and the summer ANTIFA/BLM/AlphabetSoupGroup conflagrations have not even begun. I have begun to fear that far too many of the under 40 Americans are more cowardly, cowed and frankly stupid than I imagined, not angry patriots but whining patsies, who might just let it happen.

Too many districts coming in with more than 100% of the believable vote will be a biiiiig stretch.

Thinking outside the box - Haley's big donors have a say in the process as well. Dark horse run as the Uniparty candidate with all the usual Anyone-but-Trump crowd against Trump.

She will be in the race based on cash flow not based on her possibility of success. She will bank the residuals as a retirement fund as her political prospects are nil beyond 2024.

[DAILYCALLER] The Department of Justice (DOJ) failed to turn over the transcript of President Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. Sleazy Dem machine politician, paterfamilias of the Biden Crime Family... ’s interview with special counsel Robert Hur after the House Judiciary and Oversight Committees requested it, the Daily Caller has learned.
The House Oversight Committee requested the transcript via letter on Feb. 12, giving the DOJ until Monday, Feb. 19 at 5 p.m. to respond. The DOJ did not turn over the transcript or other documents in the report that were requested, sources with both committees told the Daily Caller.
"We haven’t received what we requested and everything is on the table as to what is next," a Judiciary committee spokesperson told the Daily Caller.
"The DOJ has not provided the materials requested and the committees will soon follow up about the chairmen’s request," an Oversight committee spokesperson told the Daily Caller.
The DOJ did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller’s request for comment.
Hur released his special counsel report on Feb. 8 detailing Biden’s handling of classified documents. While Hur decided not to pursue charges against the president, the special counsel made note of Biden’s declining mental state.
In a five-hour interview with the president on Oct. 8-9, Hur noted that Biden seemed to forget when his vice presidency began and ended as well as when his late son, Beau Biden, died.

The DOJ wasn’t investigating Biden. It was a coverup. Releasing the transcript is the exact opposite of a coverup.
Judicial Watch seems more effective in this type of situation as opposed to Congress. Constitutionally that reality is problematic. Regardless, we can all judge Joe’s mental capacity on March 7th unless they can figure out a scam.

Every scrap of paper, tape recording phone log, etc. that the gummint generates is the property of the taxpayers. I can see limiting access to, say, strategic weapons blueprints, research and data, but the everyday output of pols, bureaucrats and contractors is all rightfully subject to inspection by the public upon demand. No exceptions, no waffling, lawfare, hoohaw or slow-walking.
Period.

[FoxNews] California's budget crisis is projected to expand more than previously thought and could hit a record deficit of $73 billion, according to a new report from the state's nonpartisan Legislative Analyst's Office (LAO).
The LAO laid out the grim forecast in a Tuesday report that cautions that a $24 billion "erosion in revenues" corresponds to a $15 billion increase in the state's budget problem. Due to this, the budget deficit, which last month was estimated to hit $58 billion, could now go as high as $73 billion.
"The actual increase in the state's budget problem will depend on a number of factors, including formula-driven spending changes, most notably Proposition 98 spending requirements for schools and community colleges," the report said.
H.D. Palmer, the deputy director of California's Department of Finance and Newsom's spokesperson on budget matters, responded to the new LAO report by telling Fox News Digital that their budget shortfall differs from the $38 billion they estimate.
"From now through April, more than $51 billion in income and corporate tax receipts are forecast to come in," Palmer said. "No one can say today with certainty how those numbers may change the budget estimate of a $38 billion shortfall."
"A responsible step would be for the Legislature to act now on the early action budget measures needed for $8 billion in solutions to help close this gap," he added.
The projected bad news comes as Newsom has worked to increase his profile nationwide. It also occurred as California experienced a mass exodus.
California saw its first-ever population decline in 2020 when the state imposed rigid lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic. From January 2020 to July 2022, the state lost well over half a million people, with the number of residents leaving surpassing those moving in by almost 700,000.

Not to long ago, in the 1990s, Californians recalled Governor Gray Davis because of a $26 billion debt. Then we had Arnold Schwarzenegger leading the charge against him. Too bad we don't have anybody like that now. Newsom can do whatever he wants...and he does.

A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
