Diplomats fear Tillerson transparency push is linked to Clinton emails
[Politico] Secretary of State Rex Tillerson’s assignment of as many as several hundred State Department officials to quickly clear a huge backlog of public records requests is being met with deep skepticism by rank-and-file employees.

Tillerson says his goal is transparency. But many State workers fear the real reason is political: expediting the public release of thousands of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s official emails.

The staffers also suspect the move ‐ which will reassign many of them from far more substantive duties and has already sparked a union complaint ‐ is meant to force many of them to resign out of frustration with what are essentially clerical positions.

The issue spotlights the deepening distrust toward Tillerson at Foggy Bottom, where his attempts to restructure the department, cut its budget and centralize policymaking have already hurt morale. But it is drawing applause from conservative groups, which have been pressuring Tillerson to act on a backlog of 13,000 Freedom of Information Act requests ‐ many of them relating to emails and other records from Clinton’s tenure.

"We haven't understood why there's been a slow-walking of releasing records, and we've been quite public in counseling the administration to take an approach of extreme transparency," said Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, a conservative activist group that has sued the Trump administration for more Clinton documents.

"It looks like someone's listening," Fitton added.

David Boies was a clean up lawyer for Weinstein to ruin victims
[Yahoo] Harvey Weinstein hired journalists and highly trained ex-spies and military personnel who used fake identities to try to stop accusers from going public with sexual misconduct claims against him, The New Yorker reported Monday.

The news came as the Television Academy, which hands out Emmy Awards, was said to have expelled Weinstein "for life," following a similar move by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which gives out the Oscars.

Among the private security agencies hired by Weinstein starting around fall 2016, the magazine said, was Black Cube, which is largely run by former officers of Israeli intelligence agencies, including Mossad. Another was corporate intelligence giant Kroll.

Two Black Cube private eyes met with actress Rose McGowan -- before she publicly accused Weinstein of raping her -- to obtain information.

One of the investigators secretly recorded at least four meetings with McGowan while pretending to be a women's rights advocates, said the magazine, citing dozens of pages of documents and seven people directly involved in Weinstein's efforts.

The spy used a different fake identity to meet with a journalist while claiming to have an accusation against Weinstein, in order to learn which women were talking to the media.

Weinstein and the private eyes also used journalists themselves to extract details from women who were making claims against Weinstein.

During his yearlong effort, Weinstein and his team would collect information on dozens of people, compiling psychological profiles with their personal or sexual histories in order to contradict, discredit or intimidate his targets.

The New Yorker said Weinstein sought the assistance of ex-employees from his movie enterprises to help in his efforts collecting names and placing calls.

Investigations also sometimes went through Weinstein's lawyers, according to the magazine. Among them was David Boies, who represented Al Gore in his 2000 presidential election dispute with George W. Bush.

The New Yorker said Boies himself had signed a contract demanding that Black Cube seek to uncover information to stop the publication of a New York Times story about Weinstein's sexual abuse at the same time his firm was also representing the Times in a libel case.

Boies told the magazine "it was a mistake" to have been involved with the investigators.

Weinstein's spokeswoman Sallie Hofmeister dismissed the report, saying: "It is a fiction to suggest that any individuals were targeted or suppressed at any time."

Neither Hofmeister nor Boies immediately responded to requests for comment.

- Television Academy expels Weinstein -
Police launched investigations in London, Los Angeles and New York after around 100 women accused Weinstein, once one of the most powerful men in Hollywood, of sexual misconduct ranging from harassment to rape.

Meanwhile, industry publication Variety said the Television Academy has voted to permanently expel Weinstein.

"The Academy supports those speaking out against harassment in all forms and stands behind those who have been affected by this issue," it told Variety, adding that it was reviewing the organization's code of conduct.

"The unfolding and widespread examples of this horrific behavior are deeply disturbing to the Academy's leadership.

"We are determined to play a role in protecting all television professionals from predatory harassment, ensuring they are able to practice their craft in a safe environment."

Angry woman gets flight diverted over 'cheating' husband
[Yahoo] An enraged woman forced an airliner to make an emergency landing after she discovered
I suspect is was more confirmation than discovery.
mid-flight that her husband was apparently cheating on her.

The woman, an Iranian national, was travelling from Doha to Bali with her husband and child on a Qatar Airways flight on Sunday, India's Hindustan Times reported Tuesday.

As her husband slept, she used his hand to unlock his fingerprint-protected phone, revealing the alleged affair in all its sordid detail.

Angered by the discovery, the woman reportedly started to hit her husband. The cabin crew intervened but were unable to calm the situation.

With the inflight episode spiralling out of control, the pilots decided to make an unscheduled stop in the southern Indian city of Chennai.

The woman, her husband and their child were taken off the plane, which then resumed its journey to Indonesia, an unnamed security official told the paper.

"The family spent the day at Chennai airport and was sent to Kuala Lumpur by a Batik Air flight. No police action was taken," the official said.

Qatar Airways was not immediately available for comment when contacted by AFP.
My takeaway? Proof positive that women are selfish. And sneaky.
And men are cheating dogs. Some of each, at any rate.

MSMBC's Joy Reid claims NRA desires American ‘warlords,' ‘private armies' that kill at will
[Wash Times] MSNBC’s Joy Reid told her fans Monday that the National Rifle Association has machinations of building an America where "packs of warlords" can kill at will. The host of "AM Joy" reacted to Sunday’s church shooting in Sutherland Springs, Texas, by claiming NRA members ‐ over 5 million Second Amendment advocates ‐ seek the creation of "private armies" operating outside the rule of law.

The comments came one day after 26-year-old Devin Kelley killed 26 churchgoers and wounded another 20 in a rampage reportedly linked to a domestic dispute.

"Americans are living like packs of warlords, with heavily armed people everywhere, any one of whom can kill dozens at will. This is insane," Ms. Reid said at the start of a series of tweets. "And the @NRA has decreed that the answer to this is more warlords, hoarding more guns, like little private armies. The @NRA ethos is that everyone is your enemy. Every tribe is your enemy, and you need to be prepared to kill a lot of people all the time."

The NRA bills itself as the "foremost defender of Second Amendment rights" for all Americans, and "the premier firearms education organization in the world."

It is entirely by design. Clustering of democratic urban voting blocks cannot survive on welfare alone. Business and industry have already fled. The only economy remaining is the drug trade.

The Disease Of Political Correctness Is Rampant In Our Military
[Don Feder's Grasstops, Lorton, VA] Now that you're through being nauseated, incensed and generally disgusted with the Bowe Bergdahl sentence ‐ 20 lashes with a dishonorable discharge ‐ keep it in context. The travesty is symptomatic of the political correctness that's rampant in our military.

Bergdahl's non-punishment may have been a way for the judge, Col. Jeffery Nance, to give the middle-finger salute to Trump, who called the deserter "a dirty rotten traitor who should have been executed."

In an e-mail to his parents before he took French leave in 2009, Bergdahl said he was "ashamed to be an American" (twice), that "the title of US soldier is just the lie of fools," that "the US Army is the biggest joke the world has to laugh at... It is the army of liars, backstabbers and bullies," and "the horror that is America is disgusting." Don't hold back.

Six good men died searching for this piece of human offal. The wife of Master Sergeant Mark Allen testified at the sentencing hearing. Shot in the head looking for Bergdahl, Allen was sentenced to life in a wheelchair, unable to speak, raise his hands or hug his 9-year-old daughter.

In exchange for "the dirty rotten traitor who deserved to be executed," Obama traded five top Taliban commanders, who are presently plotting the deaths of more Americans.

Obama announced Bergdahl's release in a Rose Garden ceremony, flanked by his parents. His National Security Advisor Susan Rice hailed the deserter as a soldier who served "with honor and distinction." Lying comes easily to Rice, who spent two weeks telling the world that the Benghazi butchery was sparked by a video.

Iraq
Nationalism, chauvinism and conflict with Kurds undermine post-ISIS Iraq
[Jpost] Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi raised the Iraqi flag on the Iraq-Syria border in the town of al-Qaim on Sunday. It was a symbolic gesture more than three years after Islamic State took over a third of Iraq, committed genocide against Yazidis and mass murdered thousands of others. But Iraq is still deeply divided as the prime minister has attempted to roll back the rights of the Kurdistan autonomous region and as Shi’a militias run checkpoints throughout many Sunni Arab areas.

Iraq is emerging from years of brutal war with millions of internally displaced people and many cities damaged or destroyed by fighting. But even in the midst of the end of this conflict, Iraq has launched a new conflict against its Kurdish region, sending tanks to retake the disputed district of Kirkuk. Iraqi security forces have clashed with Kurdish forces as it attempted to break through to a strategic border crossing called Faysh Khabur near Syria and Turkey. Dozens have been killed since October 16. Although a kind of ceasefire is in place, the situation does not bode well.

There is a new sense of nationalism and religious fervor in Iraq. Shi’a sectarian flags fly from not only militia units but also appear in regular Iraqi Army units. When Iraqi forces rolled into Kirkuk they brought the flags with them. And in Mosul, a Sunni city, they hang them at the checkpoints. This triumphalism is about symbols and the Iraqi Parliament is also trying to ban symbols it doesn’t like. On October 31, the parliament sought to enforce laws that criminalize "Zionist symbols," including the Israeli flag. This was likely in response to the numerous displays of the Israeli flag in the Kurdistan region during the lead-up to the September 25 independence referendum.
It won't end well

Air Force Didn't Share Texas Shooter's Domestic Violence Conviction With FBI
[Free Beacon] The Air Force announced on Monday that it did not share records on the Texas church shooter's 2012 domestic-violence-related court-martial with the FBI's firearms background-check system, allowing him to pass numerous background checks over several years to obtain at least four firearms.

"Initial information indicates that Kelley's domestic violence offense was not entered into the National Criminal Information Center database by the Holloman Air Force Base Office of Special Investigations," Ann Stefanek, an Air Force spokesperson, told the Washington Free Beacon.

The shooter, 26-year-old Devin P. Kelley, was court-martialed in 2012 for what Stefanek told the Washington Free Beacon was "assault on his spouse and assault on their child." He was sentenced to 12 months in military prison for the assault and received a demotion to the Air Force's lowest rank. His assault resulted in serious injuries to the child in question.

"He assaulted his stepson severely enough that he fractured his skull, and he also assaulted his wife," Don Christensen, a retired colonel who was the chief prosecutor for the Air Force, told The New York Times. "He pled to intentionally doing it."

#5  Who? What? Where? When? How? Why?

Those are the questions that journalists are supposed to ask. Even in high school journalism classes, even junior high school, this mantra is drilled into the students. The answer to one of those basic questions is missing in this article. Can you guess which one it is?

Last night I watched CBS news and I'm guessing their coverage wasn't too much different than ABC, NBC or CNN. They went to great lengths to talk to people in Sutherland Springs and tell all of their stories as well as those of the victims. I feel sorry for those people. I really do. But what I really want to know is who dropped the ball, why was this nut case allowed to buy guns and what is being done to fix it. Not a peep about that from CBS. With all of the investigative resources available to that organization, not one peep, no indication whatsoever that they are even thinking about that one little basic question. They were careful, however, to include calls for more gun control by various left wing congresscritters. Instead of more gun control, why can't the laws that are already on the books be enforced?

"The Service will also conduct a comprehensive review of Air Force databases to ensure records in other cases have been reported correctly. The Air Force has also requested that the Department of Defense Inspector General review records and procedures across the Department of Defense."

OK. I guess I should have followed the link and read the entire article before I went off. Doesn't let CBS off the hook though. News organizations like that should be hounding the Pentagon for answers.

I think it was straight up anti-Christian hatred. If he wanted just the in-laws, he could of shot them in a more secluded spot with fewer panicked people running into the line of fire. He wouldn't have needed to kill children. He wouldn't have concentrated on the pastor's family.

You need to concentrate on his vicious screeds on facebook. These will tell you what he was really thinking.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Palestinian steals truck to carry out terror attack
[Ynet] Muhammad Zafran planned to ram truck into soldiers waiting at bus stop outside IDF base in central Israel, but was caught by police while attempting to steal the truck; he admitted to seeking 'Dire Revenge' against Israel for its conduct on the Temple Mount.

A Paleostinian who stole a truck and planned to use it to run over IDF soldiers was charged Monday with preparing to commit murder as an act of terrorism.

Muhammad Zafran, 40, from Ramallah was also indicted for endangering human lives on a public transportat lane, vehicle theft, entering and staying in Israel illegally, driving without a driver's license and other offenses.

According to the indictment, Zafran entered Israel illegally last month in order to carry out a nationalistically-motivated attack.

On October 19, 2017, Zafran broke into a truck that belongs to a business in Holon using a pipe wrench.

An employee who noticed him in the act started running toward the truck. Upon noticing the employee, Zafran drove in his direction, nearly hitting him.

Upon failing to do so, Zafran kept driving toward a nearby IDF base.

The employee reported the theft to the police, which pursued the stolen truck.

In an effort to evade the police, Zafran sped and drove wildly on the road, risking drivers in his vicinity.

When police closed in on him and ordered him to stop, he rammed the truck into the police car, pushing it against the safety railing and bringing it to a stop.

Zafran, according to the indictment, then continued driving toward Rishon Lezion, ran a red light at an intersection and collided with other vehicles.

He eventually had to stop due to faulty operation of the truck and was caught by police.

In his interrogation, he repeatedly stated he belongs to the Fatah organization, and that he wished to become a martyr.

He admitted to planning to run over soldiers waiting at a bus stop outside an IDF base as "Dire Revenge" for Israel's conduct on the Temple Mount.

A prisoner who shared a cell with Zafran said the latter told him he wanted to kill Jews.

Exposed: FBI Director James Comey's Clinton Foundation Connection
[Breitbart] A review of FBI Director James Comey’s professional history and relationships shows that the Obama cabinet leader ‐ now under fire for his handling of the investigation of Hillary Clinton ‐ is deeply entrenched in the big-money cronyism culture of Washington, D.C. His personal and professional relationships ‐ all undisclosed as he announced the Bureau would not prosecute Clinton ‐ reinforce bipartisan concerns that he may have politicized the criminal probe.

These concerns focus on millions of dollars that Comey accepted from a Clinton Foundation defense contractor, Comey’s former membership on a Clinton Foundation corporate partner’s board, and his surprising financial relationship with his brother Peter Comey, who works at the law firm that does the Clinton Foundation’s taxes.

Lockheed Martin
When President Obama nominated Comey to become FBI director in 2013, Comey promised the United States Senate that he would recuse himself on all cases involving former employers.

But Comey earned $6 million in one year alone from Lockheed Martin. Lockheed Martin became a Clinton Foundation donor that very year.

Comey served as deputy attorney general under John Ashcroft for two years of the Bush administration. When he left the Bush administration, he went directly to Lockheed Martin and became vice president, acting as a general counsel.

How much money did James Comey make from Lockheed Martin in his last year with the company, which he left in 2010? More than $6 million in compensation.

Lockheed Martin is a Clinton Foundation donor. The company admitted to becoming a Clinton Global Initiative member in 2010.

When ObamaCare costs more than leasing a Rolls-Royce
[THEHILL] Thanks to ObamaCare, a family health insurance policy bought on the health insurance exchange can cost the same or more than leasing a 2017 Bentley, Aston Martin, McLaren or even a Rolls-Royce.

ObamaCare open enrollment for 2018 has begun, so a friend and tax policy expert living in Northern Virginia recently went looking at his family’s health insurance options. A CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield silver-level family HMO plan with a $3,500 deductible would cost my friend $2,179 per month. The BlueCross gold-level HMO with a $1,000 deductible would cost $2,500 per month.

However,
it was a brave man who first ate an oyster...
people tend to choose Preferred Provider Organizations (PPOs) when possible because they allow patients more flexibility; you don’t necessarily have to see a family doctor before contacting a specialist. But consumers pay for that extra flexibility ‐ especially under ObamaCare.

The BlueCross silver-level family PPO plan with a $3,500 deductible would cost $2,729 per month and the gold PPO with a $1,000 deductible is $3,087.

#1  I gave up late last year, faced with a 50% premium increase in CO. I told my wife I was done seeking self-reliant solutions. We ended our business after more than a decade. My wife took a full-time job at a large company so we get "health insurance" for a family of four without paying more for it than for housing and food, and we don't have to justify ourselves to the IRS. I'm sure we're not alone. I doubt we'll get back to running our own business again.

Obamacare was never meant to provide healthcare but to be a piggybank for insurance companies, lobbyists and left-wing politicians. See Hillary and the Clinton Foundation for how that's done.

North Korea threat overshadows Trump's Seoul visit
[Al Jazeera] With a fundamental, strategic shift affecting the foundation of the South Korea-US alliance, and China competing strongly for South Korean kinship, Tuesday's state visit to Seoul will be a diplomatic minefield for US President Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
Over two days, Trump will meet South Korean President Moon Jae-in and address the National Assembly. Foregoing a photo opp at the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) - a standard stop for visiting presidents - he will go to Camp Humphreys, a vast military base 50km south of Seoul that is rising as a new hub for the 28,500 US forces on the peninsula.

A critical undercurrent during the visit will be the ongoing shift in Washington's strategic focus, driven by North Korea's expanding nuclear capabilities.

Since the end of the 1950-53 Korean War, the defence of South Korea has been the Korea-US alliance's foremost priority. Now, with the United States increasingly in North Korea's crosshairs as it extends the range of its intercontinental ballistic missiles, Washington must consider its own defence.

This development is opening fissures in the alliance. While Trump has threatened to "totally destroy" North Korea, Moon told Korea's National Assembly last week that "our top priority is to maintain peace on the Korean Peninsula ... No military action on the Korean Peninsula shall be taken without prior consent of the Republic of Korea."

Jihadist rebels use chemical weapons to advance in northern Hama
[ALMASDARNEWS] The jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham launched a powerful assault in the northern countryside of the Hama Governorate, today, targeting the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) positions near the key town of ’Atshan.

Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham’s assault would prove successful, as their forces managed to seize two towns from the Syrian Arab Army and National Defense Forces (NDF).

According to HTS’ official media wing, their forces seized the towns of al-Baleel and Umm Turaykiyeh after a fierce battle with the government units in northern Hama on Monday.

A source from the Syrian Army told al-Masdar News this evening that their forces were unable to maintain their ground at these towns because their soldiers were gassed by the swarming HTS and Free Syrian Army

New air attacks on militants near Benghazi
Benghazi, 6 November 2017:

Three soldiers died yesterday as Libyan National Army (LNA) commanders abandoned their plan to starve out the remaining militants holed up in the Benghazi’s Sidi Akribesh for over four months.

Moreover, for the first time in weeks, an LNA war plane launched a strike on the district. In the past, army sources speaking on condition of anonymity because of the LNA clampdown on unauthorised statements about the fighting, had said that the “few buildings” still controlled by the militants constituted too small a target for air attack.

After the aircraft assault LNA units advanced but apparently met stiff resistance. Besides the three killed, 12 other soldiers were injured. It is reported that one of the militants, named as Ahmed Masoud al-Fakhri, said to be from Ajdabiya, was also killed in the fighting.

The continued presence of an unknown number of fighters is an embarrassment to the LNA, whose commander, Khalifa Hafter broadcast triumphantly in early July that the battle for Benghazi was over.

In violence elsewhere in the city, a rocket attack on Benghazi Radio’s broadcasting studios slightly injured a number of people, including the poet Khadija Bsikri. It is thought that it was an RPG that was fired at the first floor of the building in Abdel Moneim road, some three kilometres away from Sidi Akribesh.

Meanwhile, unexploded ordnance, which hard-pressed LNA engineers have not yet had the opportunity to clear, has taken yet another life. A civilian named as Faraj Al-Abdali was killed in a blast as he entered his old apartment in the Suq Al-Hout district.

Do not radicalize the Kurds
[RUDAW.NET] First of all, I am not a Kurd, I am a Chaldean Assyrian Syriac Christian from Erbil, a descendent of Babylon and Assyria, a descendent of the one of the most ancient Christian churches, the Church of the East.

I have lived all my entire life beside my Kurdish friends, most of them Moslems, and others Yezidis and Kakeis. Since elementary school in my town Ankawa, which is considered today the largest Christian city in Iraq and Kurdistan, and until finishing my MA studies in Erbil, I had made many good Kurdish friends.

The Kurds, a nation of 45 million, have been separated between several countries, and they have struggled more than a century for their rights to be identified as a nation, to have the right to speak their own language, to sing their songs freely, to govern themselves according to their values and principles. Sadly they were killed, tortured, oppressed, and even denied their existence by the countries they have lived in, only because they wanted to live according to their standards and not according to other people goals.

Iraqi warbirds hits ISIS positions in Mutaibija basin
Diyala (IraqiNews.com) Four Islamic State locations on the borders between Diyala and Salahuddin province have been shelled, an official said on Monday.

“Aerial shelling targeted IS locations in Mutaibija basin, on borders between Diyala and Salahuddin, amid news of casualties among the enemy,” Abdul Khaliq Medhat told AlSumaria News.

“The frequent shelling of IS gatherings and rest houses in Mutaibija contributed to reducing risks of the militant group against nearby regions, including Hawi al-Udhaim in Diyala,” Medhat added.

Mutaibija has complicated terrain, with numerous hills that serve as a good hideout for militants. Occasional attacks have been witnessed there by Islamic State against government and paramilitary troops deployments since Iraqi forces, backed by a U.S.-led coalition and PMUs, launched a major offensive to retake areas occupied by IS since 2014.

Psychologists criticize Trump for calling Texas shooting 'mental health problem'
[THEHILL] The American Psychological Association (APA) criticized President Trump for saying the Sunday mass shooting at a Texas church was a "mental health" problem and not about guns.

"Calling this shooting a ‘mental health problem’ distracts our nation’s leaders from developing policies and legislation that would focus on preventing gun violence through a scientific, public health approach,” said APA President Antonio E. Puente in a statement Monday.

group began with suicide kabooms, official sources said.

Assailants on Sunday stormed the criminal investigations unit in Aden, the Yemeni government's de facto capital, setting it alight and taking hostages after killing two policewomen.

The attack began on Sunday, when two jacket wallahs blew themselves up at the entrances to the criminal investigations unit and the city's security headquarters.

Overnight, the security forces tried three times to seize back the unit, but each time a suicide bomber went kaboom!, stopping them from entering, a security official said.

A fourth suicide kaboom occurred on Monday morning, before the security forces finally brought an end to the standoff in the southern port city.

A total of 29 members of the security forces were killed during the attack and hostage crisis, the official said.

Among them were six coppers whose bodies were found buried under the rubble of the building along with six civilians, including two children.

"The security forces have managed to enter the building and clear it of the elements of evil and terrorism," said the interior ministry of President Abedrabbo Mansour Hadi's internationally recognised government.

Mind the gap
[DAWN] ANOTHER index, another appalling ranking. Pakistain’s latest embarrassment comes in the form of the second-worst rating in the world for gender parity on the World Economic Forum’s Global Gender Gap Report 2016. Pakistain ranks 143rd out of 144 countries, bettering only war-torn Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of. Except for a tiny handfull of Jews everthing there is very Islamic...
in terms of gender equality. The low grade indicates that Pakistain is doing poorly on all gender indicators: educational attainment, health and survival, economic opportunity and political empowerment.

The ranking may surprise those who celebrate the great strides Pak women make every day. They, not our men, are the ones winning Nobel Peace Prizes and Oscars. They are slated to lead political dynasties, win human rights
...which often include carefully measured allowances of freedom at the convenience of the state...
awards, staff our malls, and play a greater role in law enforcement.

But the women we celebrate are exceptions not representatives. Indeed, many of them owe their success to the typically poor circumstances of other Pak women ‐ they are notable because they have somehow survived, documented or mitigated the deplorable condition of women in this country. Rather than deploy amazing individuals as a bulwark against criticism, we should acknowledge and address the brutal reality of the gender gap.

VA secretary on Texas shooter: 'I do not consider him a veteran'
[THEHILL] Veteran Affairs (VA) Secretary David Shulkin on Monday said he does not consider the former Air Force service member identified as the gunman in a Texas mass shooting as a veteran, and that he would not have had access to mental health help from the department.

"I do not consider him a veteran. That would give him much more respect than he deserves," Shulkin said of Devin Kelley, whom law enforcement identified as the gunman in a church shooting Sunday in Sutherland Springs, Texas.

Kelley had served in the Air Force in Logistics Readiness at Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico beginning in 2010, but was court-martialed in 2012 for an assault on his then-wife and child. He was sentenced to 12 months confinement, received a reduction in rank and was discharged in 2014 for "bad conduct," according to the Air Force.

"He is a criminal and I think that he was convicted and with a dishonorable discharge does not deserve to have the same title as the men and women who have served this country and have honorably been discharged," Shulkin said during remarks at the National Press Club in Washington.

Shulkin said there is a distinction between those who have received an other than honorable discharge and those who have received a dishonorable discharge. Those with the former, he said, "we do believe are in need of our assistance and help, particularly with mental illness."

"Those dishonorable discharged have violated the law, have violated our morals and ethics, and I do not believe deserve the types of services and benefits and VA would not be providing those benefits," Shulkin explained.

"This is not a person who has ever been treated in the VA system and would not be eligible for those benefits," he said.

Iraq
Peshmerga ask Coalition to push for dialogue with Baghdad
[RUDAW.NET] The US-led Coalition and the Peshmerga ministry held a "positive" meeting on Monday regarding the military standoff between the Iraqi and Kurdish forces, a Peshmerga spokesperson told Rudaw.

The Coalition is overseeing the ongoing talks between the two sides. Military officials from the Kurdistan Region and Iraq have held three security meetings but no official agreement has yet been made.

Halgurd Hikmat said the Coalition listened to the concerns and the position of the Peshmerga with regard to the current tensions between the Kurdistan Region and Iraq that first broke out when Iraqi forces and their Iranian-backed Shiite Hashd al-Shaabi took control of Kirkuk on October 16.

The Peshmerga had been in control of Kirkuk and much of the disputed or Kurdistani areas since 2014 after the Iraqi forces withdrew in the face of ISIS advances.

Iranian paper stirs the pot claiming Yemen rockets may target Dubai next
[RUDAW.NET] An Iranian newspaper that is close to the Supreme Leader ran a controversial headline on Monday suggesting that Houthi
...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The Yemeni government has accused the Houthis of having ties to the Iranian government, which wouldn't suprise most of us. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews ...
rebels in Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of. Except for a tiny handfull of Jews everthing there is very Islamic...
will next target Dubai, after recently firing a ballistic missile at Riyadh’s airport.

Kayhan ran an editorial saying that no area in Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
is out of range of the missiles of Houthi rebels who are now in control of the capital Sanaa.

The article listed a number of targets including Riyadh, Jeddah, and Saudi’s oil and gas company Aramco. It added the Houthi rebels may even go a step further and target Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The editor of Kayhan is the representative of the Supreme Leader at the newspaper.

The editorial breached press regulations concerning Iran’s national security, according to the press regulator as reported by national media.

The UAE is part of the Saudi-led alliance that launched an air and military campaign against Houthi rebels in 2015 following the start of the civil war between the Saudi-backed Yemen government and the Houthis.

The newspaper claimed that Saturday’s missile attack on Riyadh sent shockwaves through the ruling elite of the oil-rich kingdom and that young Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman would have not believed it possible the Houthis could target the Saudi capital.

The Saudi-led alliance has claimed that the missile was supplied to the rebels by Iran. Saudi’s Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir said on Monday they will respond to the Iranian threat at an "appropriate time."

The newspaper also ran a second piece on the missile issue, mocking US President Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
’s statement that the missile fired at Riyadh’s airport was Iranian. It stated that the Saudi-led alliance was bombarding Yemen with weapons supplied by the United States and others.

The United Nations
...the Oyster Bay money pit...
have recorded more than 13,000 civilian casualties in the civil war that has become a hot spot where Saudi Arabia and Iran are fighting for influence.

The two are also supporting rival parties in Syria, Bahrain, and to some extent in Iraq.

Their rivalry has also caused upheaval in Leb. The country’s Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri announced his resignation over the weekend while visiting Saudi Arabia. He said he did so because Iran has planned to cause chaos and destruction in Leb and throughout the Arab world.

Baghdad court rules secession attempt unconstitutional
[Al Jazeera] Iraq's top court has said the country's constitution does not allow for the secession of any part of the country from the state.

In a statement on Monday, Iyas al-Samouk, Supreme Federal Court spokesperson, said the national charter expressly calls for the preservation of Iraq's unity and territorial integrity.

The court is responsible for settling disputes between the central government in Baghdad and the country's regions and provinces, including northern Iraq's semi-autonomous Kurdish region.

The court's rulings are final and cannot be contested by higher judicial authorities.

Saudi Arabia purge widens with 'arrest, no-fly list'

[Al Jazeera] Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
's anti-corruption purge has widened after one of the country's top businessmen was reportedly detained, accounts were frozen and a no-fly list was drawn up.

On Monday, Nasser bin Aqeel al-Tayyar, a board member at Saudi Arabia's biggest travel company, was reportedly added to the list detainees, which already included some of the country's most influential officials and entrepreneurs.

Among those detained are 11 princes, four ministers and several former ministers, in what is seen as an unprecedented crackdown that has shaken the kingdom.

The dramatic steps were the latest in a series of measures by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to assert power over the country and its previous leaders.

On Saturday, King Salman
...either the largest species of Pacific salmon or the current Sheikh of the Burnin' Sands, Cutodian of the Two Holy Mosquesand Lord of Most of the Arabians....
bin Abdulaziz Al Saud announced that his son, the crown prince, would oversee a newly formed anti-graft commission that would purge the country of corruption.
An Nahar adds:
The anti-graft commission has uncovered evidence pointing at "widespread corruption", its president Khalid bin Abdulmohsen al-Mehaisen said in a separate statement.

"Saudi anti-corruption authorities... have worked painstakingly for three years to investigate the crimes in question," he added.

The information ministry on Sunday said the bank accounts of those arrested will be "frozen" and any assets related to the corruption cases will be registered as state property.
Another An Nahar article names some names:
Here are some of the high-profile names swept up in the purge:

Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal

The 62-year-old flamboyant billionaire tycoon, ranked among the richest men in the world, was among those arrested in the crackdown. The Kingdom Holding Company -- in which the prince has a majority stake -- owns The Savoy in London, the Fairmont Plaza and the famed George V hotel in Paris.

Prince Miteb bin Abdullah

The 64-year-old son of the late king Abdullah was ousted as the head of the Saudi Arabian National Guard, an elite internal security force. He was once seen as a leading contender for the throne.

Waleed bin Ibrahim al-Ibrahim

He is a brother-in-law of the late king Fahd and owner of the Middle East Broadcasting Company (MBC), one of the most influential satellite networks in the Arab world. He was among those detained.

Prince Turki bin Abdullah

The son of the late Saudi king Abdullah and the former governor of Riyadh province was among those arrested.

Adel bin Mohammad Faqih

The minister of economy and planning, once the point man for the kingdom's sweeping economic reforms, was ousted from his post in favour of his deputy. He is the former mayor of the Red Sea city of Jeddah and previously also served as labour minister.

Ibrahim al-Assaf

One of those detained is Ibrahim al-Assaf, a former finance minister who this year represented King Salman at the G20 summit in Germany.

CNN: Fox cancels Trump impeachment ads
[THEHILL] Fox News has canceled ads purchased by Democratic mega-donor Tom Steyer that call for President Trump’s impeachment, CNN’s Brian Stelter confirmed Monday.

"Due to the strong negative reaction to their ad by our viewers, we could not in good conscience take their money," Fox News told Stelter.

Steyer said Friday in a statement that Fox News informed him on Oct. 31 that it was refusing to air the ad entitled "Join Us."

Steyer said the decision "shows no respect for democracy."

Steyer launched his $10 million "Need to Impeach" ad campaign in late October, drawing the ire of Trump, who called Steyer "wacky & totally unhinged."

House Minority Leader Nancy San Fran Nan Pelosi
Congresswoman-for-Life from the San Francisco Bay Area, born into a family of professional politicians. Formerly Speaker of the House, but it's not her fault they lost. Really. Noted for her heavily botoxed grimace...
(D-Calif.) on Sunday downplayed the idea that Democrats will seek to impeach Trump if they take back the House in next year's midterm elections.

She suggested Democrats will allow the various investigations of Trump to play out in an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper on "State of the Union."

"I believe that whatever we do, we have responsibility first and foremost to unify the nation," she said. "Second of all, you can’t go down any path without the facts and the law. If that’s there, perhaps it will come out in these investigations."

Iraq
First Civilians Return to Raqa after Mines Cleared
[AnNahar] Hundreds of civilians have returned to a battered district of Syria's Raqa in what a U.S.-backed force said was the first wave of returns since it cleared explosives left by jihadists.

The Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
group lost control of Raqa -- once its primary Syrian bastion -- on October 17 after a months-long battle with the Syrian Democratic Forces.

Tens of thousands of people fled the city during the offensive, reducing Raqa to a ghost town of collapsed buildings.

The SDF said in an online statement on Sunday that hundreds of families had returned to al-Meshleb, Raqa's easternmost district.

"The SDF informed civilians from al-Meshleb that they could return to their homes after mine-removal teams had finished clearing the entire neighborhood of explosives left indiscriminately in civilian homes by IS," the force's press center said.

It said the district was the first to which residents had returned since the city's "liberation from ISIS," an Arabic acronym for IS.

After capturing Raqa, the SDF sealed off the city to allow for mine removal operations in bombed-out neighborhoods.

Residents often amassed at checkpoints in recent weeks, waiting for permission to access the city and see if their homes were still standing.

Some civilians who sneaked in were killed by unwent kaboom! ordnance.

Mine-clearing and reconstruction operations in Raqa are being coordinated by the Raqa Civil Council, a provisional local government body appointed by the SDF but based outside the city.

"Yes, residents of al-Meshleb returned to their homes -- but the whole city hasn't been cleared of mines yet," senior council member Omar Alloush told AFP on Monday.

The deputy head of the council's reconstruction committee, Nazmi Mohammad, said the body had dispatched 10 bulldozers to Raqa to help clear rubble and blocked-off roads in al-Meshleb.

After capturing Raqa in 2014, IS used the city as a hub for the administration of its self-styled "caliphate" in Iraq and Syria.

Following months of losses in the face of multiple offensives, touted IS fighters are now defending their last redoubts further down the Euphrates Valley.

More than 330,000 people have been killed since Syria's conflict erupted in March 2011 with anti-government protests that were brutally suppressed.

Kentucky state pol resigns in wake of sex scandal
(CNN)On Sunday, Kentucky's House Speaker Jeff Hoover (R) resigned his leadership post under pressure -- following revelations that he and several other legislators had settled a sexual harassment complaint with a woman.

Florida state politician caught in sex accusations
TALLAHASSEE — Six women who work in Florida’s Capitol say the state Senate’s powerful budget chairman, Republican gubernatorial candidate Jack Latvala, has inappropriately touched them without their consent or uttered demeaning remarks about their bodies.

The women, who include Senate staff and lobbyists affiliated with both major parties, told POLITICO Florida they did not want to be identified for fear of losing their jobs, getting a bad reputation in the male-dominated Capitol or running afoul of an influential politician who can kill their clients’ issues. The incidents, they said, occurred over a period of several years, happening in the privacy of Latvala’s Senate office or in public places like the Capitol rotunda, a bar or an elevator.

Weinstein tried to get ahead of coming avalanche of accusations
In the fall of 2016, Harvey Weinstein set out to suppress allegations that he had sexually harassed or assaulted numerous women. He began to hire private security agencies to collect information on the women and the journalists trying to expose the allegations. According to dozens of pages of documents, and seven people directly involved in the effort, the firms that Weinstein hired included Kroll, which is one of the world’s largest corporate-intelligence companies, and Black Cube, an enterprise run largely by former officers of Mossad and other Israeli intelligence agencies. Black Cube, which has branches in Tel Aviv, London, and Paris, offers its clients the skills of operatives “highly experienced and trained in Israel’s elite military and governmental intelligence units,” according to its literature.

Spacey blames abusive childhood for sex problems
Today Spacey's reputation lies in tatters. He has announced he will seek psychological help to tackle his demons, but his career is effectively finished.

His award-winning Netflix series House Of Cards has been abruptly terminated amid reports that eight members of the show's crew have accused him of sexual misconduct.

And the man who single-handedly saved London's Old Vic theatre during his 11 years as the famous playhouse's artistic director has been dumped by his agent.

Fotos emerged detailing one of Spacey's gay encounters
As Oscar-winner Kevin Spacey is facing growing allegations of sexually assaulting teenage boys, DailyMailTV has uncovered nearly two-decades-old pictures of the House of Cards star cuddling and massaging a young man in a public park

They were taken the day before Spacey won his Best Actor award for the 1999 movie American Beauty and years before he came out as gay on October 29.

The intimate pictures show Spacey, then 41, taking the unidentified 21-year-old male model into the hills above Topanga, California, close to where the star grew up.

Our new Angus Bull

We recently spent $2500 on a young Black Angus bull. We put him out with the herd but he just ate grass and wouldn't even look at a cow. I was beginning to suspect he was gay, if that's possible for a bull.

Anyhow, I had the Vet come have a look at him. He said the bull was very healthy, but possibly a little young, so he gave me some pills to feed him once a day.

Holy crap! The bull started to service the cows within two days. All of my cows! Hell, he even broke through the fence and bred all my neighbor's cows! He's on his way to servicing every cow in the county. It's incredible - He's been breeding just about everything in sight. He's like a machine!

I don't know what in hell was in the pills the Vet gave him but they kind of taste like peppermint.

Home Front: Politix
Sen. Flake on 'View': ‘You Can’t Win’ As a Republican by ‘Telling the Truth’
[NEWSBUSTERS.ORG] Keeping up their trend of inviting never-Trump Republican politicians on the show, the liberal hosts at ABC’s The View welcomed Arizona Senator Jeff Flake
...Republican junior senator from Arizona, elected in 2012. Prior to that he was a U.S. Representative for twelve years...
with open arms, on Monday’s show. After he used the Senate floor two weeks ago to lambast President Trump while announcing his retirement, the Arizona senator was ready to continue his media friendly tour, and The View was only happy to give it to him.

Host Meghan McCain introduced Flake as a "family friend" saying she was "heartbroken" to see him go, since Congress needs "more men in office like [him] right now." After loud cheers and applause from the audience, (also the reaction when Senator John Maverick McCain
... the Senator-for-Life from Arizona, former presidential candidate and even more former foot soldier in the Reagan Revolution. As an ordinary citizen he greased the infamous hookers peeing on the Obamabed in Moscow dossier in an attempt to smear President Trump...
was on the show last week, the complete opposite treatment of what any other Republican guest gets on the show,) an impressed Flake remarked:

"If we had an audience like this in the Senate gallery I would never leave!" he joked.

McCain continued her gushy remarks about Flake, noting he had never been a Trump supporter, and asking him why he was retiring now.

The Republican senator explained that he could not win re-election with Trump in office, because he didn’t agree with his positions. Flake dismissed his dismally low approval rating as result of the Trump phenomena:

Let me just say, the honor of my lifetime is to be in the Senate especially as junior senator to Senator McCain. It’s been wonderful. But I felt that I could not run the kind of race that I would need to run to be competitive. I could not speak out as I am now and as I have been over the past several months. There is no way you can be competitive in a Republican primary particularly in a state like Arizona right now if you don't agree with the president's positions or if you don’t condone his behavior.

#1  BS.

You are a Democrat lite, not a Republican and certainly not a conservative.

Flake, you missed the zeitgeist of the times. A critical mass of Americans now understands that the debate is not and should not be whether or not the cogs in every alphabet agency clown farm get a 4.8% raise instead of a 5% raise like the Democrats want to do, it's whether the agency and those jobs should exist at all.

And the debate isn't whether or not we should keep giving millions of Americans unnecessary public sector anxiety-free and metric-free jobs in exchange for loyalty to whichever politicians gave them the jobs, bloating the size of the public "work" force by four times in two generations with no significant increase in the amount and quality of government services to show for it and paying for them with money borrowed against the future while looking the other way to let in foreigners to do the real work or not. This system cannot be tweaked, it is unsustainable and needs to be destroyed, no half-measures.

Arabia
Saudi Upheavals
[NATION.PK] The notion that modernity comes in many forms is exemplified in the person of Saudi’s Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman. In the latest quixotic adventure, the Crown Prince has placed in durance vile
Don't shoot, coppers! I'm comin' out!
11 princes on corruption charges; including the billionaire Prince al-Waleed bin Talal. Since June, through various royal decrees, the young crown prince has consolidated his grip on government’s affairs. A display of consolidation was shown in a separate move when he recently replaced the head of the Saudi National Guard and the navy chief with the minister of economy.

These arrests along with replacing the high officials indicate an accelerated change in the kingdom that first came to light when came after Muhammad bin Salman replaced Muhammad bin Nayef as the crown prince.

All these moves, collectively, show the ruthless manner in which Muhammad bin Salman has consolidated power so far. Being the young crown prince and with so much power and authority in his hands, he’s setting himself up to rule the kingdom for a long time with no opposition.

He can be seen as one of the typical dictators of the Middle East ruling the country with the U.S approval. As many commentators and analysts see him as the new face of modernity for his liberal ideas ‐lifting the ban on women driving, indicating privatisation of oil, and initiating projects and resorts where Saudi laws don’t apply‐ his bold and authoritarian decisions provides a truer image of him.

His erratic behavior has already created a crisis in the Middle East as the war in Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of. Except for a tiny handfull of Jews everthing there is very Islamic...
is not ending soon and the diplomatic standoff with Qatar
...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates...
is yet to be solved.

Keeping all these contradictions and adventures initiated by the young prince, we should be prepared to expect more unpredictable moves and adventurism from the Saudi government.

ISIS appoints new leader in southeast Asia following defeat in Marawi City
[ALMASDARNEWS] According to the national police chief, ISIS has appointed Amin Baco as the new Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. emir in southeast Asia following the death of Isnilon Hapilon and Omar Maute, leaders of two local ISIS-inspired branches, on October 16.

Amin Baco is of Malaysian nationality and pledged allegiance to ISIS in 2015. He is believed to have escaped the battle of Marawi, fleeing to the countryside of Mindanao Island instead.

On October 23, the Philippine Army proclaimed full control of Marawi city after taking out the remaining ISIS garrison, exactly five months to the date since the jihadist uprising began.

Aside from Baco, the Philippine military is also on the lookout for Abdulla Hapilon, the son of killed Abu Sayyaf
...also known as al-Harakat al-Islamiyya, an Islamist terror group based in Jolo, Basilan and Zamboanga. Since its inception in the early 1990s, the group has carried out bombings, kidnappings, murders, head choppings, and extortion in their uniquely Islamic attempt to set up an independent Moslem province in the Philippines. Abu Sayyaf forces probably number less than 300 cadres. The group is closely allied with remnants of Indonesia's Jemaah Islamiya and has loose ties with MILF and MNLF who sometimes provide cannon fodder...
(ISIS franchise group) leader Isnilon Hapilon.

"I gave the direction to our ground commanders that once we we get Amin Baco and Hapilon, we have broken the chain of command for ISIS in Mindanao," Lt. Gen. Carlito Galvez said on Monday.

No official statement has been provided by ISIS on Amin Baco’s alleged promotion.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Israel supports terrorism against Syrian Druze population -- Palestinian Authority
Yeah, yeah. Whatever, doods.
[ALMASDARNEWS] The Paleostinian Authority has openly accused the Israeli regime of supporting terrorist groups in Syria, specifically in the Golan Heights. The accusation comes after Tel Aviv threatened on Friday to directly intervene on Syrian soil in order to "protect" a Syrian Druze village close to the de facto Israeli border.

On Friday, an elaborate attack by forces of Evil from the former al-Nusra
...formally Jabhat an-Nusrah li-Ahli al-Sham (Support Front for the People of the Levant), also known as al-Qaeda in the Levant. They aim to establish a pan-Arab caliphate. Not the same one as the Islamic State, though .. ...
Front on the Syrian town of Hader left nine people dead and 23 maimed. Hader, mainly populated by members of the Druze religious community, was hit by a boom-mobile, followed by an exchange of gunfire between forces of Evil and troops of the Syrian army.

Following the attack, the Israeli regime issued a declaration that it was considering direct military intervention in order to allegedly "protect" the villagers from further harm. The news was received with considerable outrage, as Hader is currently in the hands of pro-government forces. The Druze community of Syria, from which recently deceased Major General Issam Zahreddine hailed, is overwhelmingly supportive of the Syrian Arab Republic and President Assad.

The Israeli statement was met with protests by Druze in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, which were dispersed by Israeli police forces.

In an official statement, the Paleostinian Authority said that Israel had "tactically retreated" from its earlier decision to "support the so-called Syrian opposition from occupying the Syrian Druze village of Hader." Furthermore, the Authority stated that Israel’s retreat came "under pressure from Druze reactions in Israel" to "the suspicious relationship between the regime in Tel Aviv" al-Nusra terrorists, who are part of the al-Qaeda organization.

Al-Qaeda, Free Syrian Army join forces in huge Hama counter-offensive
[ALMASDARNEWS] On Monday, the Syrian al-Qaeda branch and a couple Free Syrian Army
... the more palatable version of the Syrian insurgency, heavily influenced by the Moslem Brüderbund...
(FSA) factions gathered all available fighters for a major joint counter-offensive in the northeastern countryside of Hama.

Targeting a rural area just north of the M42 Highway that was captured by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in recent weeks, Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS/Al-Qaeda) and the FSA’s Jaish al-Nasr and Central Division managed to retake the towns of al-Baleel and Umm Turaykiyeh in the afternoon, reportedly using a chemical substance to kick off the offensive.

In the evening hours, jihadist forces also overran the neighboring village of Umm Khazaym. However,
some people are alive only because it's illegal to kill them...
a SAA military source told al-Masdar News moments ago that opposition claims of any further gains were false.

Pictures of the counter-offensive show jihadists gathering for the attack and posing for pictures in the newly captured area. A couple of the photos, published online by the FSA and HTS respectively, even show the exact same fighters, indicating that the groups are operating shoulder-to-shoulder on the battlefield

-Lurid Crime Tales-
Rand Paul Attacker Likes Bernie Sanders, Hates Trump
[PJMEDIA] Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) was assaulted at his Bowling Green, Ky., home on Friday and sustained minor injuries. According to police, Rene Boucher has been enjugged
... anything you say can and will be used against you, whether you say it or not...
for the assault. Boucher is a 59-year-old anesthesiologist who supports Sen. Bernie Sanders
...The only openly Socialist member of the U.S. Senate. Sanders was Representative-for-Life from Vermont until moving to the Senate for the rest of his life in 2006, assuming the seat vacated by Jim Jeffords...
(I-Vt.) on universal health care and has widely shared his fierce opposition to President Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
Among other things, Boucher wrote on Facebook, "May Robert Mueller fry Trump's gonads."

Paul also got caught up in the infamous attack at the Republican practice for the Congressional Baseball Game in June, when a Bernie Sanders supporter opened fire, seriously injuring House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.). Paul seems unable to catch a break.

"On Friday, November 3, 2017 at 3:21 p.m., KSP Troopers responded to the residence of Rand Paul in Warren County, in reference to a report of an assault," Kentucky State Police said in a news release Saturday. "Upon their arrival, it was determined that Rene Boucher had intentionally assaulted Paul causing a minor injury." A record from Warren County Regional Jail confirmed that Boucher was booked at 8:51 p.m. Friday. Neighbors report that Sen. Paul was mowing his lawn at the time of the attack and that the two neighbors have been embroiled in an ongoing dispute.

This thug wants his government cheese and that's the antithesis of Wrong-Way Rand Paul

Oopsie!: Woman Fired for Photo of Her Giving Trump the Finger
[LawNewz] A woman lost her job after giving President Donald Trump the finger. Juli Briskman was off-duty when she was riding a bicycle past the president’s motorcade, and gave him the one-finger salute. The greeting was caught on camera, and the image soon went viral. Briskman herself then used it as a profile picture on Facebook and Twitter. That last part, apparently, was too much for her employer, government contractor Akima LLC. Within days, they fired her, Briskman told HuffPost.

"They said, ’We’re separating from you,'" Briskman told reporter Jennifer Bendery. "Basically, you cannot have ’lewd’ or ’obscene’ things in your social media. So they were calling flipping him off ’obscene.’’"

While Briskman wasn’t working at the time she did this, and she doesn’t mention where she works in her social media profiles, the company told her it could hurt their business. The terms of her employment were at-will, so the company was within their right to do what they pleased.

Still, Briskman believes that the company hasn’t exactly been consistent with their lewdness policy, as a male coworker once posted on Facebook calling someone else ""a fucking Libtard asshole." Briskman said that employee kept his job after deleting the comment.

"How is that fair?" she asked.
"Life is unfair."
- John F.Kennedy

Briskman said this wasn’t the first time she flipped off the motorcade, and despite losing her job, she does not regret what she did.

"I’m angry about where our country is right now. I am appalled. This was an opportunity for me to say something."

She says now that she’s looking for work again, she hopes to get a job with an advocacy group like PETA.

#4  It's OK for her to give Trump's motorcade the finger and play it up in social media, she feels, but just let some guy call her a dumb b*tch in front of everyone in a meeting and see how she feels about that.

#6  Best part.

No one knew who had flipped the finger to Don. She told her employers who promptly fired the idiot on the spot. Marched her out of the building. Bye.

#7  Eh. Without a link from her to the company, how is it going to hurt business? Sauce for the goose and all that. I and the UW administration differ dramatically on a number of things, but I don't claim to represent them: it isn't their business.

Arabia
Yemenis denounce Saudi siege as 'collective punishment'
[Al Jazeera] Yemenis have denounced Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
's decision to close the country's land, air and sea ports, calling it an "unnecessary and dangerous act of collective punishment" that puts millions of civilians at risk and exacerbates the plight of the country's most vulnerable.

Yemenis are now being collectively punished for the actions of a few Houthis.
The kingdom, which is currently leading a coalition of Sunni Arab states in bombing Yemen, said it was "immediately" closing off access to all of Yemen's ports after Houthi
...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews ...
rebels fired a ballistic missile towards the Saudi capital Riyadh.

Within hours of the missile being intercepted, Saudi Arabia launched a series of air strikes on the Yemeni capital Sanaa, targeting the Houthi-controlled presidential palace, the national security headquarters and the interior ministry.

In a statement released via the state news agency SPA, the coalition urged Yemenis and humanitarian groups to "avoid areas of combat operations, areas populated by the Houthis, areas and ports exploited by this Iranian-controlled militia to smuggle weapons, and areas from which this militia launch its attacks against the Kingdom."

"To address vulnerabilities," the coalition said, "... it has been decided to temporarily close all Yemeni ground, air, and sea ports".

Yemen's national airline, Yemenia, which is jointly owned by Saudi Arabia, said it would no longer fly out of Aden and Seiyoun, areas in south Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of. Except for a tiny handfull of Jews everthing there is very Islamic...
that are under the control of the coalition.
