[News With Views] Proof of this is that, contrary to all predictions and despite the concerted efforts of both sides of the Repucratic Party coin, the mainstream press, the social media, the FBI, the CIA and the rest of the alphabet soup of shadow agencies, as well as some active and retired high-ranking members of the military who have betrayed their Oath of Office[1], Donald Trump is still alive and kicking in the White House. Moreover, every single day President Trump keeps deconstructing the NWO machinery piece by piece: no more global warming threat, no more unfair global trade agreements, no more borders open to illegal immigration ... the works.
To top it off, Trump just took the first step to bring home the best of our youth exposed to loss of life and limb while waging unwinable, never-ending wars carried out in foreign lands for the sole purpose of benefiting a few tax-dodging transnational corporations that don’t see themselves as American anymore.
And this is just the beginning, and the NWO conspirators and their minions know it and they are powerless to stop it.
To make things worse, Trump is not alone. To the globalist conspirators’ utter dismay, nationalism is coming back in force and growing in most of the world. The yellow vest riots that erupted in France now have spread to Belgium and the Netherlands. Even in Londonistan, until recently an inexpugnable reduct of the globalist conspirators, some people wearing yellow vests have appeared on the streets in protest against the government’s unfair treatment of the working class and its inaction when faced with the attacks of religious fanatics on people they see as infidels.
[Breitbart] Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Rashida Rancida
Tlaib (D-MI) were dealt blows this week after failing to secure seats on powerful House committees despite a push from progressive groups.
Rep. Tom Suozzi (D-NY), a former lawyer and accountant in his second term, clinched a seat on the powerful House Ways and Means Committee Wednesday, beating out Ocasio-Cortez, 29, who vowed to promote a "Green New Deal" and "Medicare for All,'"if given a seat on the influential panel.
In a statement, Suozzi, who represents Glen Cove, New York, pledged to "fight for the national issues voters and American families are concerned about ‐ increasing wages, improving retirement security, and reducing healthcare and prescription drug costs."

ATHENS (Reuters) - Greece told German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Friday it had grounds to pursue a legal claim for billions of euros in reparations for the Nazi occupation of the country in World War Two.
Germany has dismissed Athens’ demands in the past, but the Greek president raised the issue anew with Merkel, who is on a two-day visit.
"As Greeks, we consider these demands legally active and (can be) judicially pursued and should be solved in the competent European forum, judicial forum," Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos told Merkel during a short meeting.
World War Two reparations resurfaced as an emotional issue during Greece’s 2010-18 period of bailouts when austerity-hit Greeks, evoking past injustices, blamed their biggest creditor Germany for painful cuts associated with three international bailouts.
[GunsAmerica] National Concealed Carry Reciprocity is back on the table thanks to Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX), who reintroduced legislation this week that would allow licensed concealed carriers to bear arms in all 50 states.
"This bill focuses on two of our country’s most fundamental constitutional protections‐ the Second Amendment’s right of citizens to keep and bear arms and the Tenth Amendment’s right of states to make laws best-suited for their residents," said Sen. Cornyn of S.69, the Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act.
"I look forward to working with my colleagues to advance this important legislation for law-abiding gun owners nationwide," he added.
The National Rifle Association was quick to applaud Cornyn’s work, noting that concealed carry reciprocity is already a reality in at least 22 states. Moreover, that only 10 states (and the District of Columbia) take the draconian position of forcing law-abiding citizens to surrender their rights when traveling through those jurisdictions.
"The current patchwork of state and local gun laws is confusing and can cause the most conscientious gun owner to unknowingly run afoul of the law when they are traveling or temporarily living away from home," said Chris W. Cox, executive director of the NRA-ILA in a statement. "Sen. Cornyn’s legislation provides a much-needed solution to a real problem for law-abiding gun owners."
"Law-abiding citizens should be able to exercise their fundamental right to self-defense while traveling across state lines," continued Cox. "We thank Sen. Cornyn for his leadership on this important issue."

Once again...
Now that the GOP needs our support for the next election they are again claiming they will do the things they promised the last few times they got elected and were in power.. the things promised but they never did once getting elected.
So I'll asked the obvious question.
Why weren't all the things we were promised in 2008-2010-2014-2016-2018 passed or at least voted on by congress?
What about 2016-2018 when the RINO's had control of all 3 branches of the Fed gov.? What happened to the Wall funding that was approved under Clinton, Bush, Obama?
We are all tired of being played election to election by both parties American vs American. Either put up or shut the hell up and fade away.
The Tea Party and the Reform Party were the RINO's and DINO's wake up calls. The next time we the voters boil over we'll just may end up having a permanent 3 party system. Capitalists Party, Socialists Party and The Pro-America Party

[Telegraph] Three journalists murdered in the Central African Republic in July were being accompanied by a driver connected to the secretive Russian mercenaries they were investigating, a report has found, calling into doubt Moscow's official explanation that they were shot in a robbery.
The new investigation provides the strongest evidence yet that Orkhan Dzhemal, Alexander Rastorguyev and Kirill Radchenko were killed for trying to report on military contractors whose existence is not admitted by the Kremlin.
The revelations came after the CAR revealed its army's chief of staff trained in Russia, highlighting Moscow's growing military ties with Africa, which have alarmed the West.
The CAR defence minister said during a visit to Russia on Thursday that Moscow was welcome to open a military base in the war-torn republic, where rebel groups still control large areas.
Thursday's findings on the journalists' killing uncovered troubling links with Yevgeny Prigozhin, a catering magnate dubbed "Vladimir Putin's chef" who is known as the patron of the Wagner mercenary group they were investigating.
Prigozhin was sanctioned by the United States in February for financing the troll factory that interfered in the 2016 presidential election.

[Strategic Culture Foundation] Why is America’s Baghdad Embassy the world’s largest embassy ‐ and the largest by far?
"It's as if the US Embassy is there not only to protect American interests, but to manage the entire world from the heart of the capital, Baghdad."
‐ Iraqi Sheikh Qassim Al Ta’ee, as quoted on 27 December 2011 in Al Iraq News and translated by Ibrahim Zaidan from the original Arabic by Nicholas Dagher
Zaidan’s article went on to say:
The world's largest embassy is situated in the Green Zone and fortified by three walls, another barrier of concrete slabs, followed by barbed wire fences and a wall of sandbags. It covers an area of 104 acres, six times larger than UN headquarters in New York and ten times larger than the new embassy Washington is building in Beijing ‐ which is just 10 acres.
[Editor's' Note: The ten-acre US Embassy in Beijing is the second largest overseas construction project in the history of the Department of State ‐ and the 104-acre US Embassy in Iraq is the largest.]
So, America's largest diplomatic mission is surrounded by high concrete walls, is painted in black, brown and grey and is completely isolated from its environment. ... The United States announced several months ago that between diplomats and employees, its embassy would include 16,000 people after the pullout of US forces.
On January 1st, Will Sillitoe headlined at the Helsinki Times, "What does the US embassy in Baghdad export to Finland and dozens of other countries?" and he reported that:
More than a million kilograms of cargo were shipped from Baghdad to different parts of the world, reveals US embassies procurement documents.
Mysterious cargo shipments from the US Embassy in Baghdad to other American embassies and consulates around the world have been revealed on a Wikileaks' database. Procurement orders of US embassies are public documents, but Wikileaks put them in a searchable database making it easier to analyse.

[Inquirer Philly.com] AT&T said Thursday that it will stop selling its customers' location data to third-party service providers after a report this week said the information was winding up in the wrong hands.
The announcement follows sharp demands by federal lawmakers for an investigation into the alleged misuse of data, which came to light when Motherboard revealed a complex chain of unauthorized information sharing that ended with a bounty hunter successfully tracking down a reporter's device.
AT&T had already suspended its data-sharing agreements with a number of so-called "location aggregators" last year in light of a congressional probe finding that some of Verizon's location data was being misused by prison officials to spy on innocent Americans. AT&T also said at the time that it would be maintaining those of its agreements that provided clear consumer benefits, such as location sharing for roadside assistance services.
But AT&T's announcement Thursday goes much further, pledging to terminate all of the remaining deals it had - even the ones that it said were actively helpful.

[PJ] It's often been said that if you want to know what Democrats are up to, pay attention to the lies they are telling about Republicans.
Did the Trump team collude with agents from a Russian internet firm to place fake news on Facebook designed to stoke outrage, benefiting Trump in the run-up to the 2016 election?
Or ... did Democrat operatives funded by a left-wing tech billionaire use Russian disinformation tactics on Facebook to stoke outrage, benefiting Democrats in the run-up to the 2018 midterm election?
The Daily Caller's Peter Hasson has the answer to that question:
Democratic operatives funded by left-wing tech billionaire Reid Hoffman ran a widespread campaign using misleading Facebook pages in the run-up to the 2018 midterm elections, The Daily Caller News Foundation has found.
American Engagement Technologies (AET), which was founded by former Obama administration official Mikey Dickerson, bought ads for two Facebook pages, "The Daily Real" and "Today’s Nation," encouraging Republican voters to stay home in the midterm elections, Facebook’s ad archives show.
Both pages appear to be designed to give the impression that they were operated by frustrated conservatives rather than by Democratic operatives.
The American flag-adorned pages encouraged conservative voters to either stay home in November or vote for Democrats to punish Republicans for being insufficiently conservative. Other ads called polls predicting a "blue wave" in the 2018 elections "unreliable" and downplayed the election’s importance.
The misleading ads collectively garnered millions of impressions on Facebook, TheDCNF’s review of Facebook’s archives found.

WASHINGTON (AP) ‐ Somehow, some day, the nasty deadlock between President Donald Trump and congressional Democrats that’s shuttered federal agencies for a near-record 20 days will end. The only real questions are when, how and who will be crowned the winner in public opinion polls and ultimately by voters.
Things got bleaker this week when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., told Trump at a fiery White House meeting that Democrats would not bow to his demand for $5.7 billion to start building a wall along the border with Mexico. Trump slammed his hand on the negotiating table and stormed out, Democrats said. Trump said he calmly left the room, saying, "Bye-bye."
[DailyMail] A man in a fluoro singlet has confronted Victorian Police Minister Lisa Neville and accused her of failing to tackle Sudanese gangs in Melbourne. 'We've had an absolute gutful of people like yourself,' he said.
[ABC.net.au] A Victorian man has been charged after dozens of packages, which police allege contained asbestos, were sent to consulates and embassies in Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra.
Key points:
Police have alleged in court that the man sent 38 parcels containing asbestos
29 packages seized by police will be forensically tested
The charge laid against him carries a maximum penalty of 10 years' jail
Victoria Police and the Australian Federal Police (AFP) tossed in the calaboose Maw! They're comin' to get me, Maw! 49-year-old Savas Avan at his Shepparton home in northern Victoria last night.
He was charged with sending dangerous articles to be carried by a postal service and has been remanded in jug following a Melbourne Magistrates' Court hearing this morning.
Police alleged Mr Avan sent 38 parcels containing asbestos to consulates and embassies in the three cities on January 7.
In an earlier statement, the AFP said it believed the substance in the packages was sourced from his Shepparton home.
Space to play or pause, M to mute, left and right arrows to seek, up and down arrows for volume.
Police said they had recovered 29 of the packages and planned to have them forensically tested.
Victoria Police said on Wednesday that "a number" of consulate offices had received suspicious packages.
The US, Pak, New Zealand and Swiss consulates confirmed to the ABC they had received suspicious parcels in the mail. Emergency services workers were also seen going into the Greek, French, Italian, Spanish and South Korean consulates.
"There is no ongoing threat to the general public," both police forces said in a joint statement.
"Police have identified all intended recipients and have put processes in place to recover the outstanding packages.
"The assistance of [Australia Post] has been crucial to the outcome of this investigation."
If convicted of the charge laid against him, Mr Avan could face up to 10 years in prison.
SHEPPARTON HOME SEARCHED
Officers from the AFP were seen searching a Shepparton home on Callister Street today, where it is believed Mr Avan was arrested.
A neighbour named Gordo described Mr Avan as "a loner".
"I spoke to him once and that was it, but I've never seen him again. He was like a loner thing, like he wanted to keep on his own," he said.
"I always thought something's not right there, because I walk [my] dog every morning past there, and he's a loner.
"I knew something was weird with this guy because he's never out, never watered his lawns, nothing like that, that's why I kept away."

A Victorian father has been charged with posting dozens of suspicious parcels containing asbestos to consulates and embassies across the country.
Savas Avan, 49, faced Melbourne Magistrates Court this afternoon, charged with sending 38 dangerous articles in the post; a Commonwealth offence.
Federal and Victorian police allege Mr Avan ripped up the walls of his Shepparton home, packaging the broken pieces of asbestos before allegedly mailing them on January 7.
[Townhall] It seems the newest members of Congress in the House Democratic Caucus are off to a banging start...by saying and voting for bills that are considered anathema to the progressive base. Yesterday, Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA), who booted incumbent Republican David Brat in 2018, brought up campaign finance yesterday at the National Press Club. Reversing Citizens United is one of the many issues that jack up the progressive Left. At the event, Spanberger brought up Virginia’s campaign finance laws, the remarks voters said to her about corporate PAC money, and what her mother told her every time she got into trouble for whatever her younger sisters had done.
When she tried to explain, her mother would say, "her perception is her reality." She circled that back to the long-standing feeling that there’s a lack of trust in government.
"When a voter believes that a $5,000 check is enough to vote in a way that is somehow against their interest, I don’t think that’s true in many cases, but if that’s their perception, that goes back to this whole conversation about trust," she said. "And for me to say, you know, I want to sit down with this company, I’m going to sit down with this company, I’m going to maybe vote in a way that this voter may not like, but you will know that I didn’t do it because of a campaign contribution."
Oh, I forgot, she isn’t offended by the concept of corporate PAC money existing. Spanberger added that her refusal to accept such money isn’t anti-business, but a way for her to speak with any company that could potentially create economic activity in her district. It sounds nice. It’s certainly tailored to the moderate Richmond suburbs that are within her district, but as a liberal Democrat, you have to be offended by corporate PAC money. It’s in their ten commandments.
NEW YORK (AP) ‐ It was supposed to be a great holiday shopping season. Many investors had expected department stores to enjoy robust sales in light of a U.S. economy buoyed by low unemployment, higher wages, strong consumer confidence and cheap gas.
So when Macy’s and Kohl’s reported lackluster numbers on Thursday, they were taken aback, sending retail stocks into a tailspin and calling into question whether such mall-based chains can compete in a changing landscape where shoppers are shifting more of their spending online.
Macy’s saw only a slight increase of 1.1 percent in sales during November-December at stores opened at least year. And while sales were strong during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the company said sales fell off noticeably until the week of Christmas.
Meanwhile, Kohl’s reported a small sales growth that showed a dramatic slowdown from a year ago. Comparable sales rose 1.2 percent, versus 6.9 percent in the previous year.
Shares of Macy’s plummeted nearly 18 percent Thursday, suffering its worst one-day decline. Kohl’s stock closed down nearly 5 percent. Even Target’s stock took a hit, falling nearly 3 percent despite showing strong holiday sales.
Earlier this week, J.C. Penney, one of the stragglers in the department store sector, reported a drop in comparable store sales of 3.5 percent for November and December. But because Macy’s is considered a barometer of spending, particularly for the middle class and for mall spending, investors may be looking for deeper meaning in its performance.
[American Thinker] Mitt Romney knows he is a smart guy and is used to thinking of himself as the smartest guy in the room. But I don't think he thought through the now infamous Washington Post op-ed attacking President Trump's character that he published on New Year's Day, just a few days prior to assuming his new job as U.S. senator from Utah. Virtue-signaling feels great, like a sugar high, but the aftermath often brings predictable consequences that somehow escaped the notice of the person anxious to demonstrate righteousness.
Mitt failed to understand that he is joining what is often called "the world's most exclusive club." The Senate, with only 100 members and immense powers, is not at all like the raucous House of Representatives. And though Senators face re-election only after six long years, they are very, very concerned with their ability to keep their membership card.
[American Thinker] Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is my congresswoman. I know that because I drove two hours to vote against her, to no avail. The rude woman at the poll challenged my vote because my signature didn't match from when I registered as a Conservative in 1976. It's possible that the "C" next to my name provoked her ire, because the man in front of me, a stinky white nonagenarian from the retirement home, escorted by an apparently olfactory-challenged, nice, and tolerant young black woman (she smiled as he told the poll lady she was his illegitimate love-child) didn't sign at all, and the malicious monitor didn't throw her challenge flag.
I explained that I had been crushed against a wall by a 48' tractor-trailer in 2008, and my hand had been cut off and sewn back on, which was why I was wearing a glove. I offered to show her my driver's license, which had proved enough, lo these many years. She said ID wasn't allowed, and the mere mention of it made her angrier and ruder. I thought she was going to slap me in my privilege.
So I guess my vote didn't count. Living in the Bronx, it never counts. Still, I vote every year, although, unlike the apocryphal Einstein quote, without expecting different results.
I'm not entirely confident that the doctors who promised me the hand job did it correctly.
For a sarcastic bastard like myself, Ocasio-Cortez and her constant stream-of-consciousness utterances are a target-rich environment. As America's own special lacuna, she has much in common with our last president. Except, to my eyes, she fills her empty suit a little better. As with Barry, she knows very little about a lot of things and a lot about very little. Yet she is pretty enough and enigmatic enough that people listen.
[The Federalist] In modern society, many of the ways we talk about male identity have either negative connotations or encourage disparaging, eye-rolling satire. If the term is man, then common terms we hear are "man flu," "manspreading," or "mansplaining."
If the term is dad, then there is a droll shaking of the head at a "dad bod" or at "dad jokes." If the term is guy, it is often in relation to stubbornly self-defeating behaviour: ’I got sick, but I did the typical guy thing, and didn’t go see the doctor." Or: "I was battling with my mental health, but I did the typical guy thing and didn’t ask for help." If the term is masculinity, it is often used in relation to things males must atone for or confront: "toxic masculinity," or "the crisis in masculinity."
If educators, psychologists, and the media want to dissect emerging troubles in masculine identity, then a good place to start would be to acknowledge that many of the ways we talk about male identity undermine this goal. This is a problem that affects us all, because boys are growing up in a culture that is increasingly questioning what’s wrong with them, whilst perpetuating casual cynicism towards them.
There are several reasons why this kind of thing gets overlooked. One argument is that it’s just light-hearted ribbing, and shouldn’t be taken too seriously; but many of the examples above are not light-hearted, and it all adds up to a big picture of masculinity being an obligingly easy target. It seems that women are in many ways entitled to "punch up" at a fracturing but still prevalent male entitlement, and that therefore putting male-chauvinist antics or clumsily wayward men "in their place" is an amusingly empowering thing to do.
1. Start Calling This Bias and Negativity Out
So, the first change that needs to be made is simple and attitudinal: When boys see this kind of stuff on the TV, they should get in the habit of calling it out for being lame, and if anyone starts talking in a lazily derogatory way about men, they should tell them to take a hike.
Do we still believe that the male hierarchy remains rigidly oppressive? Certainly not boys, or at least not as much as they used to. When they look out at the world, they aren’t seeing a society dominated by a tyrannical patriarchy. They’re seeing their sex through an increasingly disorientating lens of negatively reinforcing pop culture and politically correct ideology, and they’re seeing themselves, as a sex, continuing to fall behind.
Women make up 60 percent of university graduates, and dominate education, health care, and law. Yes, there is a pay gap. While some of that is due to bias, it’s actually more to do with the fact that men do most of the dangerous jobs, work outdoors more than women, are in arduous trades more than women, tend to pick higher-paid occupations when they’re in training, and are more willing to move to get higher-paying jobs.
In many big urban and metro areas, women are also outperforming men in wages. In highly upskilled New York, for example, women are earning on average 8 percent more than men. In domestic life, boys see that women make the decisions on big-ticket items, and are responsible for 65 percent of new vehicle purchases.
Boys see that girls and women have better prospects, but don’t see anyone ever questioning the structures behind those developments, and they are culturally disincentivised to question such developments themselves. Psychologist and author Bettina Arndt, in her book "#Mentoo," asks: "Why are boys doing so badly at school when the whole curriculum is set up to advantage girls? Why do women have such power in the family courts to shut men out of their children’s lives?"
Boys are being made to feel that their sex is in disarray, in crisis, and in decline, and that they are part of an enduring tyrannical patriarchy for which their sex must continuously account and atone, and they ought to help tear down. Points two thru five follow at the link.
[The Hill] Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) is questioning how terms such as "white nationalist" and "white supremacist" became offensive in the U.S.
"White nationalist, white supremacist, Western civilization ‐ how did that language become offensive?" King asked in an interview with The New York Times published on Thursday. "Why did I sit in classes teaching me about the merits of our history and our civilization?"
King later on Thursday, responding to the Times article, said he is not a white nationalist or white supremacist.
"I want to make one thing abundantly clear; I reject those labels and the evil ideology that they define. Further, I condemn anyone that supports this evil and bigoted ideology which saw in its ultimate expression the systematic murder of 6 million innocent Jewish lives," he said in a statement.
"It's true that like the Founding Fathers I am an advocate for Western Civilization's values, and that I profoundly believe that America is the greatest tangible expression of these ideals the World has ever seen. Under any fair political definition, I am simply a Nationalist."
The comments came as part of an expansive report from the newspaper on King’s hard-line views on immigration and how they mirror much of what President Trump has pushed for during his presidency.
[Breitbart] Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on Thursday called on President Donald Trump to declare a national emergency to build a U.S.-Mexico border wall, citing Democrat leaders’ unwillingness to comprise on border security legislation which would reopen the federal government.
"Speaker Pelosi’s refusal to negotiate on funding for a border wall/barrier ‐ even if the government were to be reopened ‐ virtually ends the congressional path to funding a border wall/barrier," Graham’s statement reads. "It is time for President Trump to use emergency powers to fund the construction of a border wall/barrier. I hope it works."
Graham’s support for a declaration comes after expressing caution about the move earlier this week, saying it was not his "preferred route" and should be a "last resort." Speaking with reporters earlier Thursday, the South Carolina Republican said he doesn’t see lawmakers will find a solution to end the shutdown, which has entered its 20th day. "I have never been more depressed about moving forward than I am right now. I just don’t see a pathway forward. Somebody’s got to like, get some energy to fix this," he said.
In a Fox News interview last week, Graham predicted it will likely be "the end of [the Trump] presidency" if the president reopens the government without securing border wall funding.

If he pulls the Emergency Powers lever, the liberal judges cannot do a damn thing. If they try, they should be arrested immediately on charges of sedition and held without bail. Better yet, immediately transported to GITMO to face a Military Tribunal.

I've been watching this can get kicked down the road by both sides for nearly 40 years. Until Trump came along, no one has been serious about trying to secure the border and seriously address our immigration problems. Congress has been spineless on both sides of the aisle through the years. We've been lied to over and over through the years. If our problems can't be addressed in a serious way, those being obstructionists deserve to be fired.
[Breitbart] The archbishop of Philadelphia has joined the chorus of those condemning the anti-Catholic harassment of U.S. district court nominee Brian C. Buescher by members of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
A Breitbart News reported, several Democrats assailed Mr. Buescher for his membership in the Knights of Columbus, a Catholic charitable organization, declaring that the organization holds "extreme" position on abortion and same-sex marriage.
"The sheer ignorance, not to mention injustice, in the senators’ describing the Knights as ’extreme’ would be baffling ‐ if it weren’t part of pattern of bigoted thinking already sanctified by other senators like Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) in her vulgar 2017 grilling of now-Judge Amy Coney Barrett (’The dogma lives loudly within you, and that’s a concern’)," Archbishop Chaput (pictured) wrote in a column this week.
In their interrogation, the senators suggested that the Knights’ opposition to abortion and same-sex marriage could impair the candidate’s judgment and render him unfit for the post in the District of Nebraska. The questions asked by the senators seemed remarkably close to a religious litmus test, since the positions under examination are held and taught by the Catholic Church itself and are not unique to the Knights of Columbus.
Article VI of the U.S. Constitution forbids the government from considering a person’s faith when appraising fitness to hold federal office. This clause is part of the original Constitution and has been a bedrock principle since the founding of the Republic.
In his column, Archbishop Chaput cited a recent Wall Street Journal op-ed by the Rev. Eugene Rivers, an African-American Pentecostal minister and a leader of the black Christian community, who decried the "anti-Catholic bigotry" shown by the Senators in their examination of Mr. Buescher.

As a general rule, early advocates of the socialist cause will eventually discover their error. It is then that they too must be removed and new advocates brought to the fore.
[Snafu-Solomon] I wanted to piggyback off our discussion of the Houthi drone attack on the Yemeni Army that succeeded in wounding (reportedly) several high ranking officers.
In that talk we hit on the idea that civilians would be screwed in unrestricted warfare in the future.
Thinking about this a bit more I believe the people that will be pounded like a street whore by a drugged up pimp (before the big fight happens) will be Law Enforcement.
Imagine this.
A LEO is on the way to work. Unknown to them, they've been stalked by a local gang because he's been tenacious in defending the citizens of his city from their predatory behavior.
He sees a gang member zooming around town then he makes it a point to fill his pockets full of tickets. He checks constantly to make sure that he's isn't carrying...whether weapons or drugs. In other words he's doing his job. Making life hard for someone that is trying to ruin the lives of the law abiding.
Well on this morning he jumps into his truck and is headed to work 20 miles away from his home. The bad guys know his shift. The learn all the cops in the area and when this guy comes to work everyone knows to lay low.
Except the guys from the cartel.
He's ruined their business and its time for payback.

Low tech killer drones are quite feasible. Even those with exotic weapons or camouflage. {why can't a drone look like an air vent when parked on a roof lurking?}
[ALMASDARNEWS] The British Ministry of Defense released new footage on Thursday of their air force destroying Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems.... (ISIS/ISIS/IS/ISIS) targets inside east Syria.
According to the British Ministry of Defense, their Typhoon and Tornado jets, along with their Reaper drones, destroyed bomb-making factories, warehouses, machine gun positions, IED workshops, and underground bases belonging to the Islamic State.
Footage shows rockets pounding the terror group’s last stronghold in the Euphrates valley in eastern Syria close to the border with Iraq.
As shown in the video footage below, the British Air Force was able to score direct hits on the Islamic State’s positions in the eastern part of the Euphrates River Valley.

[AlAhram] U.S. President Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... on Thursday canceled his planned trip later this month to attend the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland ...home of the Helvetians, famous for cheese, watches, yodeling, and William Tell... , amid the ongoing partial shutdown of the U.S. government.
"Because of the Democrats intransigence on Border Security and the great importance of Safety for our Nation, I am respectfully cancelling my very important trip to Davos, Switzerland for the World Economic Forum," Trump tweeted.
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The Yemeni Council of Ministers denounced Iran’s disobeying of UN resolutions on Thursday, saying that "it won’t stop until it is strongly deterred by the International Community."
The Yemeni legitimate government said that Houthi ...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The Yemeni government has accused the Houthis of having ties to the Iranian government, which wouldn't suprise most of us. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews ... militias are challenging the international community and its decisions, in a blurb.
The blurb said that targeting al-Anad Air base in Lahij governorate, the continuous violations of the Hodeidah ceasefire, and the constant repudiation of what has been agreed on in Sweden, are all ways that the Houthi militias are challenging the international community and its decisions.
It added that these actions are a clear indication of the Houthis’ rejection of peace efforts and their insisting on executing the agenda of their sponsors in Tehran.
The Yemeni Council of Ministers said in the statement that the increasing Houthis’ deadly attacks since the Sweden deal is "planned and aims at failing the Secretary General of the United Nations ...where theory meets practice and practice loses... and his envoy to Yemen," pointing out the obvious involvement of Tehran in directing Houthis towards what serves its agenda.
The statement also stressed that the UN and the international community’s abilities are being tested.
The legitimate government and the Arab Coalition will not stand by and watch while the situation stays this way and Houthis try to prolong the war, said the statement.

[IsraelTimes] Dima Tayeh announces plan to run in ruling party’s primaries, defends controversial Nation-State Law that many see as discriminatory to Arab minority
The family of a Moslem Israeli woman who is running as a candidate in the primaries of the ruling Likud party denounced her on Wednesday as disloyal to her people and said it would shun her until she recants.
Dima Tayeh, from the village of Kafr Manda in the Galilee, made headlines on Tuesday when she gave an interview on Hadashot TV news announcing she was running in the right-wing party’s primaries, praising Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and defending the controversial Nation-State Law, which critics see as discriminating against Israel’s Arab minority.
If elected, she would be the first Arab Moslempolitician in the Likud party.
On Wednesday, her relatives released a statement saying they "denounce her" and her opinions do not represent them.
"Due to her statements, we will not make contact with her or give her any assistance until she retracts her words and declares loyalty to her people and her faith," the statement said.
Tayeh, who was among a group of Arab Israelis who toured the US to campaign against the BDS movement that seeks to boycott Israel, said she has been a proud Likud member for six years.
"I believe that the Likud can provide security to the nation, a flourishing economy and can really include varied opinions and cultures," she told Hadashot.
"I’m proud to run in the Likud primaries, as an Arab, as a woman, as a Moslem who is extending a hand to her community and trying to help them and the State of Israel, and to improve its image."
During the interview, she defended the recently passed Nation-State Law, saying she had read every sentence and "found nothing racist or discriminatory."
"I don’t see that it harms minorities or any citizen," she said. "Israel is a Jewish state and democratic and there is no other country in the Middle East that respects its citizens and gives them as much equality as possible and democracy for all."
Multiple petitions against the law have been filed with the High Court of Justice by Druze, Arab and Bedouin leaders, rights groups, academics, and the Meretz and Joint List political parties.
Petitioners argued that the law contravenes the basis of Israel’s legal system, as well as its Declaration of Independence, by enshrining inequality among its citizens.
Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit countered that claim, saying the law does not violate minority rights because it does not override Israel’s previous semi-constitutional Basic Laws that guarantee them equality.
The Nation-State Law, passed by the Knesset in July, enshrines Israel as "the national home of the Jewish people" and says "the right to exercise national self-determination in the State of Israel is unique to the Jewish people."
It also defines Arabic as a language with a "special" status, effectively downgrading it from its de facto status as Israel’s second official language, though it cryptically stipulates that "this clause does not harm the status given to the Arabic language before this law came into effect."
[Independent UK] Gilets jaunes {Yellow Jacket} activists have reportedly destroyed over half of France’s speed cameras in protest against speed limits introduced last year.
Up to 65 per cent of the cameras have been smashed, set ablaze, blown up, painted or covered with the yellow jackets that give the movement its name, The Times reports.
The attacks began when president Emmanuel Macron’s government cut the speed limit on country roads from 90 km/hr to 80 km/hr in July.

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Three weeks ago, a ship loaded with weapons was seized at the Libyan port of Khoms. It was coming from Istanbul. The story became evidence of the malicious Ottoman Turkish role in this devastated country, in connection with Libyan murderous Moslems and their presence in the entire Maghreb.
Ottoman Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu tried to cover up the incident, but The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire.... has been caught red-handed in this crime.
The preliminary results of a probe into what happened revealed that the huge arms and ammunition shipment seized at Khoms was imported by private companies that specialized in "importing food." The Libyan Customs Service announced that the officer investigating the Ottoman Turkish weapons shipment, had survived an liquidation attempt.
Brigadier General Ahmad al-Mismari, the front man of the Libyan Armed Forces, accused agents of Turkey inside Libya, of executing the liquidation.
OTTOMANTURKISHAUDACITY, WESTERN SILENCE
A strange Ottoman Turkish audacity and even stranger Western silence followed, which made Brigadier General al-Mismari demand that the UN Security Council should promptly investigate the matter.
We are facing a blatant financing and arming of terrorist militias that kill and slaughter hundreds, or even thousands of people, not just one person, who Erdogan gave us unconvincing humane lectures about.
During a presser with the Moroccan foreign minister, his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry clearly said that Turkey, along with Qatar ...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi... , is contributing to creating a Libyan civil war and reinforcing murderous Moslems there, meaning through money, weapons and the media.
This reckless Ottoman Turkish behavior can be understood through looking at the illusion that inhabits the minds of New Turkey’s leaders; who are brandishing a form of "neo-Ottomanism." There are dangerous indicators that point to the existence of this illusion.
Among them is the major Ottoman Turkish desire to return Ottomanism to the Balkans once again, as proposed by The Guardian, in a report on Ottoman Turkish attempts to court Kosovo with investments and advocacy ‐ building an Ottoman-style mosque in the capital of Pristina.
While it had been six years without construction work beginning on Pristina’s central mosque, Turkey’s new "assertive foreign policy" aims to now build the mosque "that will closely resemble the hundreds built across the Balkans under Ottoman Turkish rule ‐ only much larger," according to the newspaper. Of course, this has struck a sour note with many Moslems in Kosovo who were against Ottoman Turkish invasion in the Ottoman era.
A widely-known Ottoman Turkish political trend seeks to revive the Ottoman State in a new version, as former Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu predicted would be achieved by 2023.
Also resonating is a sentence said by Erdogan when he visited Kosovo in 2013: "Turkey is Kosovo, and Kosovo is Turkey."
Does Erdogan’s Turkey, which is on the cusp of an economic slump, has internal security issues and faces strategic challenges in Syria, really have the luxury to dream of a huge, new Ottoman-style state?

[IsraelTimes] Israel says new route eases traffic, strengthens connection between Jerusalem and settlements; Paleostinians say it ’embodies barefaced discrimination’
Israel opened a road in the West Bank on Thursday morning with a physical barrier separating Israeli and Paleostinian traffic, the first of its kind, drawing accusations of racism from Paleostinian officials.
Israel’s Transportation Ministry said the road, including its security provisions, provided "a solution for all populations, Israeli and Paleostinian."
The newly inaugurated, five-kilometer Route 4370 is divided down its length by a concrete wall topped with fencing. Two lanes of the road connect the Geva Binyamin settlement, also known as Adam, north of Jerusalem, to the city’s French Hill neighborhood ‐ and are open to Israeli vehicles and to Paleostinians who have entry permits for Jerusalem. The other two lanes branch off and lead around the east and south of the city, without access to Jerusalem itself, and are for vehicles of Paleostinians who do not have access permits for Jerusalem, according to a statement from the Binyamin Regional Council.
There are other divided roads in the West Bank, but none with a wall separating the two categories.
The opening of the road drew swift condemnation from rights groups, the Paleostinian Authority and the PLO.
"This is an Israeli example of apartheid and racist separation that once existed in South Africa. Any Israeli who believes in democracy should feel ashamed about this new road," PLO Executive Committee member Ahmad Majdalani told The Times of Israel.
Israeli officials said Route 4370 is meant to ease traffic congestion at the Hizme checkpoint at the entrance to northern Jerusalem and strengthen the connection between the Binyamin settlement area and the capital city.
"Aside from the traffic congestion problems we’re solving today, we’re also strengthening Binyamin and inaugurating the natural and desired connection between the Binyamin region and Jerusalem," Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion said at Wednesday’s opening ceremony.
Binyamin Regional Council chairman Yisrael Gantz said the thoroughfare was "nothing less than an oxygen pipe for residents of Binyamin and the surrounding area, who work, study and enjoy themselves in the capital city."
The Jerusalem Municipality’s Moriah infrastructure company carried out the work on the road, even though it is not located in the municipality’s limits and is not expected to primarily serve residents of the capital. The barrier between the lanes is eight meters high, Haaretz reported.
The two lanes without access to Jerusalem were opened two weeks ago. The other two lanes, inaugurated on Wednesday, are currently open only from 5 a.m. to noon but will later be open around the clock.
The road was initially paved years ago, but its opening was delayed due to disagreements between the IDF and police over who would staff its checkpoints, a Haaretz report said. Authorities ultimately decided Border Police would be responsible for the checkpoints.
Israeli authorities welcomed the road’s opening as a boon for both Israelis and Paleostinians.
The road is "an example of the ability to create a shared life between Israelis and Paleostinians, while dealing with the existing security challenges," Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan said.
Paleostinian Authority officials and rights groups said the road highlighted discrimination against Paleostinians.
"Anyone with eyes in his head understands that it is impossible for years to maintain such a separation regime ‐ it is immoral and impractical," Aviv Tatarsky of the rights group Ir Amin said.
"All roads in the State of Paleostine should be accessible to Paleostinians," PA Transportation Ministry Spokesman Mohammad Hamdan told The Times of Israel. "This new road is absolutely unacceptable and embodies barefaced discrimination against the Paleostinian people."
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] A day after the Prime minister of Norway Erna Solberg said her country was willing to mediate between India and Pakistain on the Kashmire issue, Hurriyat conference in the disputed state of Jammu and Kashmire has welcomed the offer.
"Welcome Prime Minister of Norway Erna Solberg’s statement with regards to the resolution of the Kashmire dispute. We also welcome their offer of mediation to facilitate peace in the region," said Chairman of Hurriyat Conference Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.
On Monday, Prime minister of Norway while speaking at the inauguration of the new "green" Norwegian embassy in New Delhi said that her country was willing to mediate with between India and Pakistain, provided both the countries agree to such mediation.
"Nobody from outside can create peace or make changes. It has to come from inside. If there is a movement between India and Pakistain for greater talks, we and other countries can say that we can help mediating if there is a possibility," she said.
Solberg is on a three-day visit to India. She met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj yesterday to and discussed host of bilateral and global issues.
"Norway has done a lot of work for the cause of peaceful settlements through mediation, we will intervene only if both parties, India and Pakistain, want it," she added.
TALKS IN KASHMIRE
Earlier in November 2018, former Prime Minister of Norway Kjell Magne Bondevik visited Kashmire and met with Hurriyat leaders Syed Ali Geelani and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and discussed the situation in Kashmire. He also visited the capital of Pakistain-occupied Kashmire-Muzaffarabad--and met PoK President Sardar Masood Khan.
While clarifying former PM’s visit, Solberg said ’his actions didn’t have Norwegian government’s blessings’.
"He went as a private citizen. He has an institute for peace and security. It’s a private institute in Norway. There isn’t any government plan to start any negotiation. Our policy is clear. If we are going to help someone, they have to ask for it," she said.
Despite the recent hostilities between India and Pakistain, and the border skirmish along the line of Control, the Norwegian PM said she believes that "military" solutions cannot bring "long-lasting" peace.
"Personally, I don’t believe that military solutions solve problem. I believe in peaceful solutions. Participation of women and youth. You can have victory through military activity but you will always have underlying activity. It’s not just in Kashmire, but all places. We see it in Syria too. If there is a solution, it won’t be long-standing."

[ALMASDARNEWS] Just one month after U.S. President Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... announced that his nation’s armed forces were withdrawing from Syria, an Iraqi publication reported that the American forces were building four new bases in the western part of Iraq’s al-Anbar Governorate.
"The U.S. intends to set up four permanent bases that are equipped with advanced military equipment in different cities across the al-Anbar province," the Arabic-language al-Maloumeh news website said, quoting a security source in the al-Anbar Governorate.
The source noted that the U.S. military bases will be established in the Ma’askar Tareq area of Fallujah, ... the City of Mosques, which might have somthing to do with why it's not called Center of Prosperity or a really nice place to raise your kids... San al-Zeib base north of al-Baghdadi, al-Khafaseh in the town of Hadisa, and one base between the Ravah and Biji areas of al-Ramadi.
"The number of the U.S. military bases in Iraq’s al-Anbar province will increase to 9 after the four bases are set up," the report added.

[ALMASDARNEWS] The Chairman of the Syrian-Armenian Community in Armenia, George Barseghyan, was interviewed by ArmenPress this week after he and a group of Armenian businessmen met with Syrian Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad The Scourge of Hama... in Damascus.
"There was a task that this Board must boost Syria-Armenia ties. The first step was asking for a meeting with Syrian President Bashir al-Assad. And this request was approved very soon. A meeting was scheduled not only with the Syrian President, but also other high-ranking officials of Syria. The Board has formed a delegation consisting of Syrian-Armenians, Armenian businessmen", Barseghyan said.
Barseghyan told the online publication that Assad vowed to rebuild the Armenian Genocide Memorial Church in Deir Ezzor that was destroyed by Jabhat al-Nusra ...formally Jabhat an-Nusrah li-Ahli al-Sham (Support Front for the People of the Levant), also known as al-Qaeda in the Levant. They aim to establish a pan-Arab caliphate. Not the same one as the Islamic State, though .. ... terrorists.
"The Syrian government plans to give priority in these programs to those countries which stood together with it during those years. Armenia is among those countries which didn’t close its embassy during the war, always kept the state ties and sent an aid to Syria. And during the upcoming progress, business programs and restoration works the priority will be given to Armenians", George Barseghyan said, adding that the Syrian government highly values the role of the Armenian community. He said it’s not a coincidence that the Syrian President promised to restore the Armenian Church in Deir ez-Zor with his own resources.
Syria’s historical relationship with Armenia has paved the way for strong political ties between Damascus and Yerevan.
"Our visit pursued several goals. Firstly to strengthen and intensify the Armenia-Syria ties. In addition, we also wanted to express our support to the Syrian President and government. Armenia is one of those unique countries most of the population of which supports the current Syrian government, because we have managed to reach significant success during that leadership’s government. It was a proper occasion to show our support. Eventually, we have an Armenian community in Syria, in Aleppo, Damascus and etc. The local Armenians have very good relations with the authorities, and we also must think about this", he added.

A nice slap in the face to Erdogan as well as a sign that the Syrian reconquest is complete in that area.
As I recall, a good many Armenians fled to Syria after the Turkish massacre.
[IsraelTimes] Muhammad Jamal Rashdeh, 31, also targeted US consulate, Canadian security officials; in separate case, court approves 18-year sentence for Paleostinian in Jerusalem murder
An East Jerusalem man suspected of planning to assassinate Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat last year on orders from a Syria-based terrorist group was sentenced Thursday to 11 years in prison.
Muhammad Jamal Rashdeh, a 31-year-old Arab Israeli, was tossed in the calaboose I ain't sayin' nuttin' widdout me mout'piece! on April 24 and charged on May 27 with terror offenses. In a plea deal, he was convicted of conspiracy to aid the enemy in wartime, preparing to carry out deadly terror attacks, spying, and conspiracy to commit murder.
Two other suspects have also been arrested and charged in connection with the case, the Shin Bet said at the time. The security service has refused to identify the two suspected accomplices.
"Working on orders from terrorist operatives abroad, Muhammad planned to carry out a number of significant terror attacks against a variety of targets," the security service said.
The targets included Netanyahu and Barkat, as well as buildings belonging to the US consulate in Jerusalem (which has since been converted into an embassy) and a delegation of Canadian security officials who were in Jerusalem to train Paleostinian Authority security forces in the West Bank, the Shin Bet said.
In June, the Israel Police released footage of Rashdeh’s arrest in the Shuafat refugee camp in East Jerusalem, where he lived.
A Shin Bet spokesperson said Rashdeh received his orders from members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Paleostine ‐ General Command (PFLP-GC), a Syria-based terrorist group that fights alongside Syrian dictator Bashir al-Assad.
In order to carry out the attacks, Rashdeh and his accomplices planned to bring in an additional terrorist operative from Jordan, the Shin Bet said. According to the security service, Rashdeh had already begun collecting intelligence about his targets.
The PFLP-GC ‐ not to be confused with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Paleostine, which it split off from in 1968 ‐ was responsible for a number of vicious terror attacks in Israel in the 1970s and 1980s, including one against a schoolbus in northern Israel that killed nine children and three adults. The PFLP-GC largely went underground in the late 1980s, working behind the scenes with the Leb-based Hezbollah terror group, but it reemerged in 2011 with the outbreak of the Syrian civil war.
In a separate case, the Jerusalem district court on Thursday sentenced a Paleostinian man to 18 years in prison for stabbing a British student to death.
The court accepted a plea bargain signed last week in sentencing Jamil Tamimi. He killed 21-year-old British student Hannah Bladon on the Jerusalem light rail in April 2017, stabbing her multiple times before an off-duty policeman pulled the emergency brake and subdued him. Tamimi was 57 years old at the time. Tamimi’s defense team claimed he suffered from a mental illness, and the attack was not ideologically or politically motivated.
Bladon was an exchange student at Hebrew University from the University of Birmingham. Maurice Hirsch, her family’s representative, said he was disappointed her killer would not be serving a life sentence for his crime. But he added that "no sentence would have been able to return Hannah."
As part of the plea bargain, Tamimi will not serve a life sentence, and has admitted to his guilt while being exempted from paying Bladon’s family financial compensation. Prosecuting attorney Sagiv Ozeri told the Kan public broadcaster last week that Bladon was not killed in a terror attack and that medical experts said her attacker was mentally ill.
"This is a shocking murder, without any nationalist element, carried out by a mentally ill person," Ozeri said.
According to the indictment, Tamimi, who has a history of mental problems and had previously attempted suicide, had decided to carry out the April 14, 2017, stabbing attack after he called his sons that day and sought to visit them at the family’s home, but was rebuffed and told that the family wanted no contact with him, in part because he had been convicted of sexually abusing his daughter.
[Legal Insurresction] "Let me be clear: America will not retreat until the terror fight is over."
Back in 2009, former President Barack Obama delivered a speech at American University in Cairo, Egypt, that "promised a new beginning with Muslim and Arab countries." The right criticized Obama "for placing too much blame on the U.S. for strife in the region."
On Thursday, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo rejected Obama’s Middle East policy and stated "the age of self-inflicted American shame is over."
Pompeo, while not mentioning Obama by name, said that "it was here, in this city, another American stood before you" and "told you that radical Islamist terrorism does not stem from ideology."
"He told you that 9/11 led my country to abandon its ideals, particularly in the Middle East," he said at the American University in Cairo. "He told you that the United States and the Muslim world needed 'a new beginning.' The results of these misjudgments have been dire."
Pompeo said that under Obama, the U.S. abandoned its allies and was "timid" about asserting itself, that the U.S. "grossly underestimated the tenacity and viciousness of radical Islamism," and kept silent as Iranians tried to rise up against the regime in Tehran.
He also criticized Obama-era policy for "wishful thinking [that] led us to look the other way" as Hezbollah built up its weaponry in Lebanon, and for doing nothing as Syrian President Bashar Assad gassed his own people.
Pompeo turned his attention to Iran and attacked the nuclear deal, which President Donald Trump withdrew America from in 2018. From The Times of Israel:
"President Trump has reversed our willful blindness to the danger of the regime and withdrew from the failed nuclear deal, with its false promises," Pompeo said. "Countries increasingly understand that we must confront the ayatollahs, not coddle them."
He said that "In Lebanon, Hezbollah remains a major presence, but we won't accept this status quo. Our aggressive sanctions campaign against Iran is also directed at the terror group and its leaders."
He also promised our allies in the Middle East that America will always be there:
"Our aim is to partner with our friends and vigorously oppose our enemies, because a strong, secure, and economically viable Middle East is in our national interest ‐ and yours," he said. "Let me be clear: America will not retreat until the terror fight is over."

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Bavaria’s Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann said in a statement published on Wednesday (January 9, 2019) that the Ottoman Turkish Islamic Union might be subject to a control by the Constitution Protection Authority Homeland intelligence Agency.
"What is especially alarming is the invitation sent to representatives of the Moslem Brüderbund to attend a seminar recently held in Cologne ...the largest city in North Rhine-Westphalia and the fourth populated city in Germany.... ," he said.
"The group adopts positions that cannot be reconciled with the requirements of the German constitution. Therefore, the state must be vigilant in this regard," he is quoted by DW to have said.
Also a prominent member of the European Parliament for the Christian Social Party of Bavarian, criticized the efforts of Ottoman Turkish President Recep Erdogan to put all people with Ottoman Turkish roots throughout Europe ...also known as Moslem Lebensraum... under his influence.
The member of the Green Party, Jim Ozdemir, also criticized the Cologne seminar, saying it "shows that President Erdogan is continuing to extend his arm in Europe."
’FOREIGN INFLUENCE’ German government commissioner for religious freedom, Marcos Grobel, also rejected the "Foreign political influence on Moslems who are living in Germany."
The Union, based in Cologne, is under the supervision of the Ottoman Turkish Religious Affairs Office in Ankara. German outlets reported that imams of some Ottoman Turkish mosques in Germany responded to the request of the Ottoman Turkish Consulate General to inform them about the followers of the preacher Fathullah Gulen.
In the past years, the Union received funds from various German state funds, within projects that work to prevent radicalization among Moslem youth.
The Federal Government has already confirmed that it has reviewed the existing support mechanism and has not approved new requests for support from the Union since 2017.

[ALMASDARNEWS] The Ottoman Turkish-backed Free Idlib Police have announced this afternoon that they will be dissolving their forces and handing over their equipment to the jihadist rebels.
According to the group’s media wing, they will be handing over their headquarters and bases to the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham -led "Salvation Government".
Furthermore, the Free Idlib Police will be transferring all of their forces from the Jabal Shashabo and al-Ghaab Plain regions of southwest Idlib to the Afrin region of northwestern Aleppo.
As a result of this disbandment, Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham is now the "undisputed administrator" of the Idlib province.

[ALMASDARNEWS] Hezbollah had planned a massive invasion of Israel through the tunnels they had dug along the Lebanese border, the former Chief-of-Staff of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) Gadi Eisenkot told Hadashot TV this week.
Eisenkot told Hadashot TV, as quoted by the Times of Israel, that the goal of this Hezbollah operation was to "throw Israel off balance and cause an earthquake in Israeli society."
The IDF chief claimed Hezbollah "had grandiose notions. They were looking many years ahead, to a war or wide escalation, where they [believed they] would have a surprise, an ace in their deck."
According to Eisenkot, Hezbollah "had built what they thought was a fantastic plan, with several tunnels [entering Israel under the border] from the Metulla area to the sea, and their intention was to launch an attack that would begin with a surprise attack from underground ‐ sending 1,000 to 1,500 fighters into our side."
"They planned a massive artillery bombardment of IDF bases. [They aimed to] gain control of a piece of Israeli territory and hold it for weeks," he continued.
Eisenkot claimed that Hezbollah’s main objective was to show how fragile and susceptible Israeli society was to such an attack.
"They said, this is something Israel has never experienced since its founding, and it will be an achievement that will disrupt the State of Israel’s ability to attack inside Leb, throw Israel off balance, and cause an earthquake in Israeli society," he added.
Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah, he said, "now knows that Israel has known for years about his most secret plan: to carry out a secret, surprise attack on Israel in the future" via the tunnels.
Eisenkot once quipped that if Nasrallah "knew what we know about him, he’d be the most worried man in the Middle East." On Thursday he said this was even more accurate: "I know much more today."
Excerpts of Eisenkot’s comments aired on Thursday ahead of the full broadcast on Friday evening.
In excerpts from a second interview, with the Kan public broadcaster, Eisenkot said that Israel was "not currently striking in Leb openly, but [is] working through many clandestine channels that contribute to Israel’s security without causing an escalation."

Why do they want to risk a hot fire dust-up with the US Spec Ops. With Trump president it's obvious the Spec-Ops wouldn't be permitted to lose. Turkey? Not so much.
[Politico] The White House is reaching out to political allies and conservative activist groups to prepare for an ailing Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s possible death or departure from the Supreme Court ‐ an event that would trigger the second bitter confirmation battle of President Donald Trump’s tenure.
The outreach began after Ginsburg, 85, on Monday missed oral arguments at the court for the first time in her 25 years on the bench. The justice, who was nominated to the court by President Bill Clinton in 1993, announced in late December that she underwent a surgical procedure to remove two cancerous growths from her lungs.
The White House "is taking the temperature on possible short-list candidates, reaching out to key stakeholders, and just making sure that people are informed on the process," said a source familiar with those conversations, who spoke on background given the delicate nature of the subject. "They're doing it very quietly, of course, because the idea is not to be opportunistic, but just to be prepared so we aren't caught flat-footed."
Ginsburg had a pulmonary lobectomy, the Supreme Court said in a statement, and her doctors said that post-surgery there was "no evidence of any remaining disease." She has also recovered from several past health scares. But her departure from the Court would allow Trump to nominate a third Supreme Court justice ‐ the most in one presidential term since President Ronald Reagan placed three judges on the highest court during his second term.
The nine-member court is currently divided 5-4 between its conservative and liberal wings. Ginsburg’s departure would allow Trump to create the Court’s strongest conservative majority in decades, a scenario sure to bring intense opposition from Democrats and liberal activists still furious over the October confirmation of Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

...Lord almighty, this will be bad, especially if the shutdown is either still ongoing or ends in a Trump victory.
I said a few weeks ago that the MSM was starting to deify Justice Ginsburg in preparation for her departure, and it's only gotten worse. The other shoe will drop when we hear one of the Usual Suspects say, "We hope Justice Ginsburg has many years left on the Court, but any replacement will have to be etc., etc., etc......"

[ALMASDARNEWS] The Syrian and Russian forces have sent reinforcements to the Idlib province this week after the jihadist rebels took over almost all of the Idlib province from the Ottoman Turkish-backed rebels.
According to a new report from the Fars News Agency, the Syrian and Russian military convoys were dispatched the demilitarized zones along the provincial borders of the Hama and Idlib governorates.
"Field sources in northern Syria reported on Thursday that a Russian military convoy, consisting of several armored, military, engineering and personnel carrier vehicles, have been sent to the strategic village of Salba in the Southern parts of the town of Hayalin in Western Hama," the Fars News report said.
They added that the Syrian Army also sent several military convoys to northern Hama and southern Idlib, noting that over 250 forces of the Syrian Army’s fifth Division along with extensive military equipment, including 15 military vehicles and tens of trucks carrying weapons and equipment, were dispatched to the strategic town of al-Moshirfeh in the southeastern parts of the town of Abu Dali in southeastern Idlib.

[Rudaw] Police in The Hague jugged Drop the rod and step away witcher hands up! four people after objects were thrown at Iran's embassy late on Wednesday.
Protestors threw beer bottles at the mission, the Dutch daily De Telegraaf has reported. The newspaper also published video of people climbing the embassy's walls before being detained by Dutch law enforcement.
The demonstrators did not have a permit from the mayor and shouted "Iranian terrorist regime." They are reportedly planning another demonstration on Saturday.
The protests come after the Dutch government accused Iran of hiring hit men to murder two people after the European Union ...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing... sanctioned Tehran on Tuesday for allegedly plotting liquidations across the continent.
The Dutch secret service "has strong indications that Iran was involved in the liquidations of two Dutch nationals of Iranian origin in Almere 2015 and in The Hague in 2017," Foreign Minister Stef Blok wrote in a letter to parliament released on Tuesday.
Ali Motamed, 56, who was killed in Almere in 2015, and Ahmad Molla Nissi, 52, murdered in The Hague in 2017, were the victims.
"These individuals were opponents of the Iranian regime," read the letter that was co-signed by Interior Minister Kajsa Ollongren.
One of the arrested individuals was reportedly the son of Nissi, a leader in the Arab Struggle Movement for the Liberation of Ahwaz (ASMLA).
Tehran lists the group as a terrorist organization. ASMLA is based in oil-rich Khuzestan and advocates for a separate Arab state from Iran.
In June, the Netherlands kicked out two Iranian embassy employees for ties to the murders.
Copenhagen has also argued for sanctions against Tehran, claiming Iran plotted to kill three Iranian dissidents on Danish soil.
La Belle France also has frozen the assets of two suspected Iranian agents. They allegedly planned to bomb the National Council of Resistance or Iran (NCRI) near the capital in October.
[AlAhram] Blacklisted jihadist fighters tightened their grip over Syria’s last major rebel-held region on Thursday after nine days of battle with The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...Qatar's colony in Asia Minor.... -backed groups, putting a deal to prevent a massive army assault on the area in jeopardy.
The northwest of Syria near the Ottoman Turkish border is the last part of the country still in the hands of fighters seeking to topple Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad Horror of Homs... , but control has been divided between jihadist factions and other rebels backed by Turkey.
On Thursday Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), a jihadist group listed as holy warriors by the United States, Turkey and others, forced factions from the Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army ... the more palatable version of the Syrian insurgency, heavily influenced by the Moslem Brüderbund... (FSA) to accept a peace deal recognizing civilian control by an HTS-backed administration.
The success of the jihadists in recent days raises doubt over the future of a deal agreed in September between Turkey and the Assad government’s main ally Russia to avert an army assault. The agreement requires banned jihadist groups to be expelled from a frontline buffer zone.
Much of the Idlib enclave is now controlled by HTS, which is spearheaded by the former Syrian offshoot of al Qaeda.
Under Thursday’s agreement, FSA groups accepted civilian control of some towns and villages by a body known as the Salvation Government which runs basic services in the city of Idlib and many towns that fall under HTS influence.
Ottoman Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu acknowledged on Thursday it was not "so easy" to maintain the deal with Russia, but said so far it was being "implemented successfully".
"The radical groups have mounted an attack against the moderate opposition. And of course we are taking the necessary precautions," Cavusoglu said in an interview with broadcaster NTV.
A rebel official close to Turkey’s intelligence service said Ankara had played a key role in preventing the fighting from spreading further by pressing rebels to accept a deal.
HTS’s stranglehold over the area is raising fears among rebels and residents in the heavily populated province that Russian air strikes halted last year could resume.
The jihadists have allowed Ottoman Turkish troops to deploy along the front lines as the Russia-Turkey deal demanded, but have not pulled out of the area themselves.
"The complete control of (HTS) will be a pretext for the regime and the Russians to end the Idlib deal, and this is the coming danger," said Major Youssef Hamoud, front man for a Turkey-backed alliance of rebels called the National Army.
Some factions who fought against the jihadists under a different banner have now fled to an area under greater Ottoman Turkish influence nearby.

[PoliceOne.com - Jan 30 2014] I came up with five categories of general behavior ‐ it is not a total list of all behaviors, but rather, a list of general behavior ‐ to look for during an interview or interrogation.
When I began teaching others about body language, I would spend at least eight hours of classroom time on different types of gestures found in body language and their possible interpretations. After the instruction, we would watch videos of interviews, interrogations, and people communicating.
The goal was to put to use the information about body language we’d been discussing. The problem we encountered was there was too much information to remember and put into practice so soon after the instruction. Seeing the difficulty the students were having watching the videos while searching through the material to make an interpretation of the kinesics, I needed to come up with something that would help them get organized.

The best liar I ever met could tell someone a damaging truth and at the same time give the impression to the other that a lie was being told. That is a step beyond the thinking in this article.
The absolute best training I ever had was as a 3rd year medical student interviewing real patients on video tape. Immediate playback & critique along the lines of "what were you thinking?" followed. Our esteemed professors were the first interviewers, to demonstrate the process. To their credit, they too were interviewing patients they were completely unfamiliar with.
Practice makes perfect.
Reaching back nearly five years for perspective and truth.
[Daily Caller 8/17/2014] The Center for Security Policy’s Vice President for Research and Analysis, Clare Lopez, says in this exclusive video interview with The Daily Caller that very few have seemed to care that America switched sides in the global war on terror when President Obama deposed an erstwhile ally in the Middle East and provided weapons to al-Qaida and the Muslim Brotherhood.
#1
Ms. Lopez made the point that the majority of information supporting her policy shift assessment is 'open source (OS)' or unclassified. I fully concur.
The majority of intelligence supporting data or information is derived from unclassified or OS documents, events, and sources. The fusion of the OS data and the creation of assessment products is generally the stuff that gets classified.
The corroboration and validation of the collected data (OS or classified) and the creation of fusion products helps answer the 'so what' question.
This is where disinformation and fake news assist in the creation of doubt, clouding of events, statements, and facts come into play.
[News With Views] "Although [former President] Barack Obama and his wannabe successor Hillary Clinton believe a presidential priority is disarming Americans or at least minimizing their access to firearms, they are arguably two of the world’s biggest gun-runners. Examples are the Fast & Furious scandal in Mexico and the Benghazi arms trafficking in which Libyan weapons were collected and given to Syrian jihadists to fight [Syria’s] dictatorship."

In Congress, the then-bipartisan group known as the "Gang of Eight," at a minimum, knew of the operation to aid and abet America’s jihadist enemies by providing them with material support. So said Clare Lopez, a former CIA intelligence officer and the primary author of Citizen’s Commission on Benghazi (CCB) interim report, titled How America Switched Sides in the War on Terror.
The ripple effects of the illegal policy to arm America’s enemies continue to be felt as the U.S. military is currently leading a war against Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and Al-Qaeda terrorists, according to Lopez.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton ‐ as did many bureaucrats at the State Department ‐ knew that the U.S. was collecting ‐ many times buying ‐ and sending arms from Benghazi, Libya to Syria back in 2011, a year before the Benghazi consulate/CIA station attacks.
Hillary Clinton denied she knew about the weapons shipments during public testimony (under oath) in early 2013 after the deadly Benghazi terrorist attack.
On Monday Judicial Watch founder Tom Fitton spoke about smoking gun documents discovered by Judicial Watch that show Obama and Clinton were aware arms going to
Syria through Benghazi and were warned about rise of ISIS. Much more follows:

[Center for Security Policy] This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute.
The claim by Democrats like Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer that the humanitarian and security nightmare at our southern border is a "manufactured crisis" calls to mind the famous Marx Brothers line "Who are you going to believe, me or your own eyes?"
Fortunately, recent polling makes clear that the vast majority of the American people ‐ including overwhelming numbers of Democrats ‐ perceive that illegal immigration is a real crisis.
That’s because we see that such immigration is accompanied by increased crime, drug- and human-trafficking, sexual and other abuse and, yes, the threat of terrorism. As a result, we recognize that public safety and national security are being endangered by drug overdoses, gang violence, murder and mayhem ‐ often on a very large scale.
Thank you, Mr. President, for fulfilling your oath of office by standing firm for a secure border, not disorder.

According to the reports, the National Liberation Front withdrew approximately 1,700 gunnies from the Jabal Shashabo and al-Ghaab Plain fronts after they reached an agreement with the jihadist-led Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham group.
The agreement between the two rebel groups was made after Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham managed to capture several towns and villages near the al-Ghaab Plain and Jabal Shashabo fronts.

Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham is now working to capture two major cities in the Idlib province that are currently under the control of the National Liberation Front.
The two cities, Ariha and Ma’arat al-Nu’man, have been under the control of the National Liberation Front’s rebel factions since they were captured from the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in 2014 and 2015 respectively.

[ALMASDARNEWS] The Houthi ...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews ... forces launched a major counter-offensive in central Yemen, tonight, after losing several areas to the Saudi Coalition this week.
Backed by heavy artillery, the Houthi forces stormed the areas recently captured by the Saudi Coalition in the Qaniyah District of the al-Bayda Governorate.
According to preliminary reports from this front, the Houthi forces were able to make some preliminary gains, but they are still involved in heavy festivities with the Saudi Coalition and the pro-government Yemeni Army.
With the Hodeidah front frozen as a result of the U.N.-sponsored ceasefire, most of the fighting has shifted to the northern and central part of Yemen.

[KTLA-5] Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas is returning to a Florida port a day early and giving passengers full refunds of their fare after 277 guests and crew members were hit with an outbreak of Norovirus as it sailed to Jamaica.
Cruise line spokesman Owen Torres told The Associated Press "we think the right thing to do is get everyone home early rather than have guests worry about their health."
He says the ship will return to Port Canaveral on Saturday. It sailed from there Sunday on a seven-day Caribbean cruise.
Passengers took to social media on Wednesday, tweeting they were forced to stay onboard after docking in Falmouth, Jamaica, for what was supposed to be a day of excursions.
Torres says returning a day early gives the cruise line "more time to completely clean and sanitize the ship" before it sails again.

We sail on a different RC ship on Saturday. Our past experience is that they are really serious about preventing such outbreaks - not sure what failed.

They have hand sanitizer stations all over the place and a crewmember doing a little humorous song-and-dance reminder as you go into the dining room.
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] A Seattle TV station has fired an editor after airing video footage of President Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... ’s Oval Office address on immigration that appears to be altered.
The Seattle Times reports that FOX affiliate Q13 broadcasted video from the Tuesday night speech that showed a more orange-toned Trump with his tongue hanging out languidly from his mouth after making a statement.
The video’s filtered colors look more saturated and the tongue appears doctored.
And they fired the editor immediately? I am truly shocked.

The media already alters saturation to make him appear more orange. Standard practice.

Probably the confluence of internal politics and an opportunity to appear less biased.
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Libyan authorities on Monday said they seized a shipment of Ottoman Turkish arms into Libya through the country’s port of Misrata, the London-based pan-Arab newspaper Asharq al-Awsat reported.
An official from the Misrata port customs said it had "managed to seize a shipment of weapons containing Ottoman Turkish pistols inside a container with some household items and children’s toys used as camouflage," in a move that marks a violation of the UN resolution banning the sale and transfer of arms to Libya.
The shipment contained 556 cartons, each containing 36 pistols, which is equivalent to about 20,000 pistols, officials noted, failing to give information on the sender or recipients.

Since the fall of Morsy in Egypt the leadership of the international Muslim Brotherhood (Ikhwan al-Muslimun) has resided in Turkey and is supervised by Erdogan. Al Qaeda was founded by revolutionary Ikhwan, and the Muslim Brotherhood has never officially rejected Al Qaeda, and vice versa.
Not the ones residing in Egyptian jails while their various trials continue ad infinitum, to be sure. Who exactly is it that is residing in Turkey, Chereting Pelosi1889?
