#3 I would imagine that Israel has a plan for this. Using civilians for human shields and cannon fodder is part of the propaganda playbook for terrorists.

#5 the "plan" for this is actually quite simple:
Kill the bad guys where ya find 'em!

Especially in Israel's case, since:
(a) the worldwide media is going to criticize them no matter what they do
(b) if the Israelis DON'T actually kill civilians then the bad guys will just stage "massacres" anyway!

The Palestinians themselves will (eventually) prevent Hamas from using their children as shields if enough children die! Sad and sorry math but very true.

#6 Lets hope that Israel learned from the 2006 war with the Hezbos and have a plan for handling this.

One thing they need to do is get the media to actually admit - on the air - that Hamas is activly doing these things. Hiding behind women an children. Using Mosques, hospitals, and the like as cover.

And therein lies the problem - its going to get hard to trun the MSM against their allies.

#7 My guess is the plan is shoot carefully, but still shoot. For all the IDF knows the "Civilians" are actually volunteers with a illness or suicidal, who want to help out by sacrificing themselves for Allah since they can't shoot very well.

#8 The IDF has some really good snipers, including several women as instructors, plus they have been watching the American success with the Designated Marksman rifles and scopes in Iraq. Expect to see a lot of Hamas dead with head shots from 5.56mm shots at about 300 meters.

After hearing that I changed the channel - my blood pressure can't take his lying ass.

BTW - has he ever, ever, reported on the situation in Sderot? Or even mentioned it?
