#1 Why would he single out Australia? Surely they use less coal than China. Wouldn't it be better to transfer Hansen out of NASA and into the Dept of Education. Stupidity at NASA has a higher ante than I would like. One more Al Gore loving crackpot in the education field will like adding someone with bipolar disorder to the Jerry Springer show. Who will notice? Crackpot consolidation is a good thing. Maybe NASA can be compensated for the transfer fee by some crackpot offsets.

#2 Hansen's spent a lot of time sniffing the climate model glue.

#3 Ozniks on other boards are already demanding extortion payments from the rest of the world to hold this life-destroying holocaust at bay. One enterprising type is demanding Hawaii, the Fox newsbabes, and all the beer in Germany, and that's just for starters. He said he would blackmail the French too but they don't have anything he wants.

Damn, I love the Aussies!! Good on ya, mates!!!

#4 The only model that Hansen should be permit to get next to is Kendra, even then it would raise the IQ quotient of the room by 5. You know that old nagging self-doubting fear that others will discover you're a fraud, well, in Hansen's case there's validity to that paranoia.

#5 Professor Hansen also works in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Columbia University and has given testimony on climate change to the US Congress.

The end is NEAR! Here, BUY MY NEW BOOK, and
don't forget to speak to my agent about my lecture series.

#6 I presume the millions of methane-producing sheep exported from Oz and Kiwiland every year to Arabia for Eid slaughter are A-OK in Dr. Hansen's world.

#7 As stupid as this is, he may find a ready audience in Obama who has already declared his intention to make it impossible to build coal-fired power plants.

#9 Thought this was outside NASA? Put him in NOAA and have him go check penguin sh*t in Antartica at a station not powered by coal or oil. Stay in NASA, put him in the next test capsule and launch him by catapult - very green, wood replanted and all.

#10 Dr. Hansen gets paid to be a "Propaganda Specialist" to further the Global Warming/ now Climate change agenda. Conservative(?) Austrailia now gets attacked..

#13 He called for . . .funding for "fourth generation" nuclear power plants that could run on material now regarded as waste.

Why not third generation nuke plants that we can build now. Why must we always wait for the perfect non existent solution?

#14 Hansen also testified in England on behalf of environmental zealots that broke into a power plant. He said that the co2 crisis was such that illegal steps to shut down coal plants were justified.

#15 Hansen seems to be advocating economic warfare against Australia. Maybe we should send the Aussie SAS after him. I'm sure we've got a nice padded cell for him.

Crackpot is too mild.Raving loony ratbag nutcase is more like it.

Gen 4 nukes are a good idea though.

The funny thing is we have the (left wing)Labor Party in power in Oz now and they have an irrational policy against nuclear power for Australia. Happy to dig up and sell uranium though. Go figure.

#22 Hansen's also been caught at least THREE TIMES "fudging" data to make it corroberate what he was saying. The man isn't a scientist - he's a fraud.
