#1 What was that about the origination clause?

Does this mean that a president can spend any amount he wants on anything without the bother of an appropriation bill?

#3 There is already a suit working its way to the Supreme Court based on the origination clause. Because Roberts declared the mandate to be a tax, and the ACA came from the Senate, it violates the origination clause. All tax bills must come from the House.

On the other hand, I can't see the Court having the balls to toss the entire law. I really think that Obama has something on Roberts.
