Man fined for pretending to be a ghost at a cemetery
[MYFOXDC] PORTSMOUTH, United Kingdom - A man has been fined after he allegedly pretended to be a ghost while at a cemetery.

According to a report on Scotsman.com, 24-year-old Anthony Stallard was seen inside the cemetery kicking a football around with a friend after the two had been drinking.

Authorities say the two were shouting, singing, and being disrespectful.

"He was throwing himself backwards, waving his arms about and going 'wooooooo'. I'm assuming he was pretending to be a ghost," Tim Concannon, prosecuting at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court, told Scotsman.com.

The article says Stallard was undergoing testing for autism at the time of the incident. The report said he was fined for his actions.

#1  What a mistake by the Portsmouth Magistrates' Court, didn't they see ...

their problems would have been solved, oh my.

#2  And he would have gotten away with it too, if it hadn't been for those meddling kids!

#3  He was drunk, so they're testing him for autism? That seems a bit extreme.

#4  Oh wait. He was being tested for autism when he and a friend took the evening off to get drunk. So is the friend also being tested, or is the demon rum adequate to explain his idiocy?

Ebola outbreak: Bodies 'dumped in the street' as Liberia faces panic over virus
[TELEGRAPH.CO.UK] Liberian medical chiefs warned that their war-shattered health service was being overwhelmed by the Ebola outbreak, as reports emerged of residents dumping bodies of suspected victims of the virus in the streets.

Tolbert Nyenswah, the deputy chief medical officer and assistant health minister, said the outbreak had forced a number of hospitals and clinics to close because staff were scared to work in them. He disclosed that some 67 health workers had become infected, and that many of the 6,000-strong work force were reluctant to return to their jobs.

He spoke to The Telegraph on Thursday in Liberia's seafront capital, Monrovia, from where the government is mounting a desperate fight to stop the disease spreading.

On Wednesday night, President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf declared a state of emergency across the country, and also despatched troops in full combat gear to block people travelling to Liberia's capital from rural areas hit by Ebola.

Africans are whinging that a us company tested its vaccine on us victims who got it helping people

Of course that means racist whites wont give miracle cure to african blacks. Yawn. Massive paranoia, no reality checks...

#6  Now spreading in Nigeria.

Resources to control the spread of an infectious disease are limited. This outbreak has already spread beyond them.

I don't know what, short of a vaccine, will stop it.

"The resources of civilization are not yet exhausted." UK prime minister, 1881.
Quarantine & contact tracking still work. Much of Nigeria is, however, not really civilized.

#9  They have to work well enough to get the onward infection rate below 1. And the numbers say they are nowhere near that.

Over 1 and it goes exponential, which is what the graphs show currently. What is needed is what China did with SARS, and there is no chance of that happening in Africa.

#10  IIRC CNN this AM = EBOLA SPREAD MAY BE OVERWHELMING AFRICA'S HEATHCARE SYSTEMS [risk of collapse].

I ve been telling Guam locals that, given the state of the world + POTUS Obama's focii or priorities vee OWG Globalism where "World Peace = US Retreat/Pullback", iff Ebola is NOT stopped in Africa it may never be stopped due to the US-World's attention being diverted to matters elsewhere, + COULD PROVE MUCH MUCH WORSE OR DEADLY THAN THE 1917 WORLDWIDE SPANISH INFLUENZA OUTBREAK.

E.G. PHILIPPINES "PERFECT STORM" OF MILPOL AFFAIRS = ...

#2  It also reported Tijernia - who is the alleged gunman - could also face charges in connection with a string of similar attacks in Cameron County over the last six weeks, believed to be linked to the infamous Gulf Cartel.
The ruthless crime syndicate is one of the oldest, most established in Mexico and is based out of the suspects' home town of Matamoros, directly across the border from Brownsville, Texas.
Its primary business is drug smuggling, but it also operates through protection rackets, assassinations, extortions and kidnappings. It is believed it has recently branched out into robbing U.S. citizens, before smuggling their belongings back across the border.

Now we have actual raiding parties coming across the border, raiding people, taking their belongings back across the border.

Russian bombers penetrated U.S. airspace at least 16 times in past 10 days
[WASHINGTONTIMES] Russian strategic nuclear bombers conducted at least 16 incursions into northwestern U.S. air defense identification zones over the past 10 days, an unusually sharp increase in aerial penetrations, according to U.S. defense officials.

The numerous flight encounters by Tu-95 Russian Bear H bombers prompted the scrambling of U.S. jet fighters on several occasions, and come amid heightened U.S.-Russia tensions over Ukraine. Also, during one bomber incursion near Alaska, a Russian intelligence-gathering jet was detected along with the bombers.

#5  Except near Alaska, what they are "penetrating" is just the Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ), which is international airspace.

The media just sensationalizes everything out of all proportion.

Near Alaksa, they are probably flying near (or over) some half-submerged rocks that belong to Alaska, but which are a couple of hundred yards from some half-submerged rocks that belong to Russia. YAWN.....

#8  Thanks for setting everyone straight Lone Ranger. I flew out of the ice strip at Little Diomede in March 1988 on a VFR flight plan. As soon as I cleared the island FAA flight service called on the radio an asked if it was N5285K. NORAD wanted to know NOW!!!

#9  Childish behavior. They know we won't shoot them down so its not even particularly daring. Just an annoyance to show they can do it with impunity.

Russia Threatens to Block Overflights Between Europe, Asia
[NDTV] Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev warned on Thursday that Russia could block overflights between Europe and Asia in retaliation for Western sanctions.

Mr Medvedev said that closing the use of Russian airspace, which saves Western airlines large amounts in fuel costs, was a "serious measure" being considered in response to sanctions that have shut down Russia's first lowcost airline.
