Bicyclist Wants To Be Treated Like A Car But Also Be Able To Just Kinda Break The Rules When He Wants To
[Bee] SEATTLE, WA — In a statement delivered to a line of 100 drivers who had been stuck behind him for the past 3 hours, local bicyclist Florian Skuzz said that he wants to be treated just like a car on the road, but also to just kinda be able to break the rules whenever he wants to.

"I'm an important bicyclist deserving your respect, and should be granted all the rights and privileges of a car at all times!" said Skuzz to the parade of honking automobiles behind him. "But also, I don't carry insurance for when I cause an accident and would like to disregard traffic lights and signs whenever I want. It is my divine right! NOW STARE AT MY SPANDEXED BUTT FOR THE NEXT 30 MILES AND LIKE IT!"

The man then continued riding directly in the middle of the road at 15 miles per hour even though the speed limit was 65.

Sources say Skuzz then ran three traffic lights and stopped once to adjust his GoPro for the next video on his YouTube channel in which he posts videos about being an insufferable bicyclist. "I am saving the planet with this bike!" he yelled to the cars behind him. "RESPECT ME!"

At publishing time, Skuzz had been seen locking up his bike on a bench not designed for the purpose and entering his favorite Communist vegan bakery.

#3  Was driving home into the sunset the other day when my instincts had me standing on the brake.

Out of the glare a late 50s gentleman with a nice bike and good helmet, riding sunglasses and had run a stop sign. I would have killed him. He, who is aged and dressed to know better, gave a smug yeah you should have stopped look.

They do other things, like think they can walk their dogs without leashes and make nasty faces when waved at or talked to at the grocery checkout.

Dude looked like picture but all black leotard and gray mustache/beard.

-Short Attention Span Theater-
Why Would They Want To Solve It ?
[Burning Platform] The entire world is nothing but a racket. Just call it a war and the funding is never ending. Why would any politician or general ever want peace? Their funding would stop. Why would Big Pharma and their media co-conspirators ever want to cure cancer or any disease created by other mega-corporations? Their riches would evaporate.

The war on terror must never be won, because the Department of Homeland Security and all the parasites that live off that bloated cow need your money. Joe Rogan points out the same narrative when it comes to homelessness. Bureaucrats and departments in all these Democrat shitholes don’t want to solve the homelessness problem. They would be out of jobs. Everything is a racket.

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
WSJ - 'The Godfather in the Kremlin'
[WSJ] By the time of his death in a plane crash this week, Yevgeny Prigozhin had come to symbolize the criminal trajectory of the Russian state. In the 1980s, he had been imprisoned in the Soviet Union, after which he experienced a rags-to-riches transformation from street vendor in post-Soviet Russia to close associate of President Vladimir Putin. Prigozhin’s remarkable portfolio ranged from elite catering to election meddling in the U.S. to running the Wagner Group, a government-funded private military apparatus.

Haphazardly, the Wagner Group projected Russian power into Ukraine and Syria. In Africa, it did not operate with the ideological zeal and the hope for economic development that the Soviet Union had once championed, gaining the U.S.S.R. networks of loyalty and cooperation. Instead, the Wagner Group erected a vast criminal enterprise, a protection racket on a continental scale, offering security to amenable dictators and warlords. In return Wagner acquired access to resources, which it used to enrich itself. This was not the application of hard power or soft power. It was the application of criminal power.

Prigozhin’s professional star rose further with Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine. After repeated setbacks for the conventional Russian military, the Wagner Group pushed forward around the city of Bakhmut in one of the war’s set-piece battles. It did so by literally employing Russian criminals, who were let out of jail so they could be thrown en masse into the fray. The curious culmination of Prigozhin’s career was the mutiny he led in late June. He preceded it by denouncing the entire Russian general staff, touching at times on the questionable judgment of Putin himself. The Wagner uprising advanced unopposed until Prigozhin was convinced to abort it, consigning himself to political purgatory. His death, two months after the mutiny, may have been an accident, but U.S. intelligence agencies don’t think so.

#1  ...Aw, Hell no. Vito Corleone, for all his failings, at least had a certain honor, respect and dignity.

Vladimir Vladomirovitch, on the other hand, not so much. The man was a Colonel in the goddamned KGB, an organization whose cruelty, backstabbing, and pure unadulterated viciousness made Game of Thrones look like Romper Room. We'd all be a lot better off if our government's attitude to him reflected that instead of polite dislike.

#6  The mafia overtones in these expressions of raw power are no accident. Their purpose is to intimidate, showing that the Russian state will stop at nothing to secure itself.

Kinda like all these bogus indictments against Trump? But I'm afraid WSJ thinks Trump is just as bad as Putin.

WSJ can clearly see the mote in somebody else's eye. OK, Putin is a mean old man. That's easy. But they cannot see the log in their own eye.

What do they say about Biden's crimes in Ukraine, needless NATO expansion, war profiteering, DoJ election interference, human trafficking, biased media, etc., etc.

I cancelled my subscription to WSJ exactly for this kind of crap.

Economy
The Corpoate Takeover of Ukrainian Agriculture
Link added. Moved to opinion
[OaklandInstitute] In Walking on the West Side: the World Bank and the IMF in the Ukraine Conflict, a report released in July 2014, the Oakland Institute exposed how international financial institutions swooped in on the heels of the political upheaval in Ukraine to deregulate and throw open the nation’s vast agricultural sector to foreign corporations.

This fact sheet provides details on the transnational agribusinesses that are increasingly investing in Ukraine, including Monsanto, Cargill, and DuPont, and how corporations are taking over all aspects of Ukraine’s agricultural system.

This includes circumventing land moratoriums, investing in seed and input production facilities, and acquiring commodity production, processing, and transportation facilities.
And finally the land itself.
However, there is a small problem:

Government Corruption
The ultimate sinister goal of the climate con
[WND] Climate control. It's far more than that round dial on the wall.

Current governments see it as a much more important, extensive and far-reaching opportunity which is, in fact, nothing more than an intrusion into the money coffers and power positions of their citizens — an opportunity to spread the wealth to political donors and supporters, while gaining more authoritarian control.

There are two moving elements to this con game being perpetrated on America and the world.

The first is a more straightforward and obvious exercise based on the rhetoric being presented and actions being taken.

The intrusion into the public's lives is blatantly apparent when the government screams CLIMATE CRISIS and exerts measures as they have: actions based on claims of over-polluting fossil fuels, rising seas, floods, hurricanes, fires and world destruction. Hence, their dictate to eliminate gas operated stoves, water heaters, fireplaces, lawnmowers, even banning cars and pushing EVs, along with their cleaner yet less efficient wind and solar power.

From Day 1 in the White House, the president canceled and restricted gas pipelines and production. Beware the "Climate Emergency" executive order.

Analyses of the recent fires in Hawaii are an extension of this climate rhetoric. In mere hours some proclaimed the "global warming/climate crisis" narrative as the cause of destruction and loss of life. In fact, "Green New Deal/sustainability" decisions on the part of the power company may be responsible — refusing to properly manage their infrastructure's vegetation overgrowth, instead concentrating efforts and money buying solar panels from China and pursuing other energy alternatives.

In addition, "societal concerns" ran amok when Hawaii's water resource leader, more interested in "water equity" for plants than allowing its use to protect property and lives in Lahaina, didn't provide it to firefighters.

The ramifications of this climate con continue their threat through inflated gas prices at the pump as the supply is reduced and overall costs are increased. One should consider that virtually 72% of goods are delivered via trucks and around 28% by rail — both running on diesel fuel.

Raise the cost of fuel, you raise the cost of goods, which is passed on to the consumer as an onerous burden. Costs of fuel, as well as related fertilizers? Up for farmers 71% in '22 over 2021 prices ... again increasing costs of their products — food.

The bottom line: Make things expensive, create shortages and catastrophes, make fossil fuels look bad, show the need to reduce or eliminate their use ... push an agenda.

Fulton County Releases First Official Portrait Of The 47th President Of The United States
[BEE] ATLANTA, GA — In a moment that will go down in history books for generations to come, Georgia's Fulton County has released an exclusive first official photograph of the 47th President of the United States, more than a full year before his 2024 election will even be held.

"This is the earliest an official portrait has ever been taken," said presidential historian Dr. Blake Rumsey. "In some cases, it was widely known which candidate had the best chance of winning several months ahead of an election, but having full confirmation more than a year in advance is absolutely unheard of. Kudos to Fulton County and its district attorney, Fani Willis, for making history."

Though ballots will not begin to be cast in next November's presidential election until sometime in 2024, District Attorney Willis and the other leaders in Fulton County have officially confirmed the result. "We're not even sure counting the votes will be necessary anymore," one election official said after the photograph was released. "With an official photograph of the 47th president being made public, it's a done deal. Congratulations to President Donald Trump!"

Behind closed doors, despite Republican leaders previously expressing doubt about the outcome of the election, citing questions about the integrity of the voting process, they were now grateful to D.A. Willis for wrapping up the election more than 14 months early. "Thank you, Fani Willis!" shouted one elated GOP strategist. "We couldn't have done this so quickly without you!"

At publishing time, historians were already updating school textbooks to reflect the indispensable role Fani Willis played in the historic re-election of President Donald Trump.

How Old Do You Feel? - Angus Bachan living his dream
[YouTube] How old do you feel today? Uncle Angus is living his dream and he hopes that you are doing the same. Another man who was living his dream was Caleb who was 85 years old when Joshua gave him the choice of where he would like to live in Israel and he chose the big mountain where the big giants lived. Caleb trusted God. He reads from Joshua 14:10.
It’s nice to see someone that happy.
