Fury as Palestinian protester waves a SWASTIKA at anti-Israel rally in New York City's Times Square as thousands of demonstrators take to the streets across the US - while rockets and gunfire flies in the Middle East
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • The group in Manhattan's Midtown chanted 'free Palestine ' while others in the Israeli kettle yelled back: 'How can you support this! F***ing murderers!'

  • Yesterday, Gov. Kathy Hochul described the rally as abhorrent after Hamas militants invaded Israel and slaughtered hundreds of citizens

THIRTY-ONE Harvard organizations including college's Amnesty International affiliate blame Israel for Hamas' brutal terror attack which has killed more than 700 people: 'Something is deeply, deeply wrong in academia'
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • The Harvard groups have placed the blame on Israel for Hamas' brutal, surprise attack that has killed at least 700 Israelis

  • They claim that Saturday's events 'did not happen in a vacuum' and claimed that the Israeli government has forced Palestinians to live in 'an open-air prison'

  • It comes just a day after a professor was forced to apologize for implying the Hamas attack on Israel was an attempt to distract from 'Netanyahu's corruption'

  • Israel Palestine war LIVE: Jewish state prepares massive ground offensive

The Palestine Solidarity Committee has held inflammatory events in relation to the conflict, including protests, an 'Apartheid Week' and a 'Boycott Israel Trek.'

The group has also taken credit for getting the Harvard Crimson - the school's long-running student newspaper - to support BDS, or Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions of Israel.

The groups include the school's African American Resistance Organization, Amnesty International, 'Harvard Act on a Dream,' groups of Muslim and South Asian students from the Kennedy and Chan schools, the Harvard Islamic Society and Harvard Jews for Liberation.

Several Israeli news outlets, citing rescue service officials, said at least 700 people have been killed in Israel, including 44 soldiers. Attacks continued into Sunday and Monday, with the nation's Iron Dome intercepting continuous waves of rockets.

A thousand Hamas militants took part in the initial, unprecedented attack on Israel on Saturday, Conricus said.

The Gaza Health Ministry said 413 people, including 78 children and 41 women, were killed in the territory.

About 2,000 people have been wounded on each side. An Israeli official said security forces have killed 400 militants and captured dozens more.

Conricus also confirmed that Americans, British and French people were involved in the carnage.

He said that children, babies, elderly people and disabled people were among those kidnapped.

Italy fears 'incalculable' regional consequences after attack on Israel
[Jpost] Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is calling for a rapid de-escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as its widening would have "incalculable consequences", her office said on Monday.

Meloni expressed her concerns in a call with Lebanese counterpart Najib Mikati, in which she confirmed Italy's support for Lebanon's security and stability "at this delicate juncture".

India-Pakistan
And so it begins: Pak calls for international intervention to protect Paleostinians against Israeli oppression
[GEO.TV] Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani on Sunday expressing solidarity with Paleostine against Israeli oppression called for the international community to intervene to protect Paleostinian civilians.

More than 300 Paleostinians have been martyred after Israel launched retaliatory air strikes in the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Strip following Hamas, the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,'s operation "Al-Aqsa Storm" which saw 5,000 rockets being launched into Israel from Gaza, followed by button men infiltrating areas in the southern region of the country.

The foreign minister also expressed concern over the volatile situation and the loss of precious Paleostinian lives.

"Pakistain is deeply concerned by the escalating hostility in the Middle East and the loss of innocent lives. We stand in solidarity with Paleostinians and call for an immediate end to the violence and oppression by Israeli occupation forces," Jilani wrote on his X account.

Furthermore, the caretaker minister also called for the establishment of a sovereign Paleostinian state on the basis of pre-1967 borders and according to the United Nations
...a lucrative dumping ground for the relatives of dictators and party hacks...
(UN) resolutions.

According to the Paleostinian health ministry, at least 370 Paleostinians have been martyred, including 20 children, and nearly 2,000 maimed by Israeli air strikes in Gaza since Saturday.

Israeli forces battled holdout Hamas fighters and pounded targets in the Gaza Strip with the army saying tens of thousands of soldiers were deployed in southern desert regions near the coastal enclave, to rescue Israeli hostages and then evacuate the entire region within 24 hours.

Senior military officers were among those killed in fighting near Gaza, the Israeli military said.

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh
...became Prime Minister of Gaza after the legislative elections of 2006 which Hamas won. President Mahmoud Abbas dismissed Haniyeh from office on 14 June 2007 at the height of the Fatah-Hamas festivities, but Haniyeh did not acknowledge the decree and continues as the PM of Gazoo while Abbas maintains a separate PM in the West Bank...
said the assault that had begun in Gaza, a narrow strip that is home to 2.3 million Paleostinians, would spread to the West Bank and Jerusalem. Gazooks have lived under an Israeli blockade for 16 years.

'Concerned' Pakistain calls for ending hostilities
President Arif Alvi on Sunday condemned the brutalisation of Paleostinian rights.

Urging the international community to intervene, the president stressed the need to adhere to UN resolutions.

"Progress towards peace cannot materialise without condemnation of usurpation & brutalisation of Paleostinian rights & people by Israel [...] Time has come to move forward in line with UN resolutions. The international community can play a big role today towards world peace," Dr Alvi wrote on his X account.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Former presidents Clinton, Obama silent as Israel defends itself from Hamas
[FOX] It has now been more than 24 hours since Iranian-backed Hamas terrorists invaded areas of southern Israel, killing hundreds and wounding thousands, and two former presidents have been silent.

As of midday Sunday, no social media account, presidential library or foundation associated with Democratic former Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama had commented on the conflict taking place in Israel.

The Clinton Foundation has also yet to say anything about the situation. Similarly, the social media accounts belonging to Clinton did not comment on the attacks against Israel.

Despite former President Clinton's silence, former first lady Hillary Clinton released a statement Sunday evening, saying "My prayers are with everyone affected by the horrific attacks by Hamas in Israel. The United States stands in strong support of our ally, today and every day."

Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama have also been silent about the attacks. No statement, thus far, has been issued by the Obama Foundation and the social media accounts for both Obamas have not commented on the matter.

"Not one word from Obama, and why is that? Is he too busy? Or simply indifferent? Or could it be that, having given millions to Iran, he is privately celebrating his role in taking Israel down a notch," conservative author Dinesh D'Souza questioned in a post to X.

Despite the silence from the Obamas and former President Clinton, former Presidents Donald Trump and George W. Bush both issued statements — either through their own means or entities associated with them — condemning the attacks on Saturday.

Trump, who maintained a good relationship with Israel during his tenure in the White House, called the attacks a "disgrace" and insisted that Israel should defend itself with "overwhelming force."

US Arms left in Afghanistan reportedly reach Gaza
[Gateway] In June the Palestinian SAMA News Agency openly reported that US weapons left by Joe Biden and Mark Milley when the Biden regime surrendered to the Taliban have now found their way to Gaza.

This was three months before the historic Hamas attack on Israel this weekend.

Over 250 Israelis and foreigners are dead, over a thousand were injured, and dozens of Israelis were captured and sent back to Gaza.

In 2021, Joe Biden armed the Taliban with $80 Billion in US weapons and supplies when he surrendered to the Taliban and fled Afghanistan in 2021.

[NY Post] Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) on Sunday blasted Israel’s "occupation" policies while saying she grieves those killed as violence engulfed the region following Hamas’ unprecedented incursion from Gaza.

Tlaib — the first Palestinian-American sworn into Congress back in 2019 — issued the statement slamming Israel as an "apartheid" state after some of her fellow "Squad" members sparked controversy Saturday for urging a ceasefire in the Middle East.

"I grieve the Palestinian and Israeli lives lost yesterday, today, and every day. I am determined as ever to fight for a just future where everyone can live in peace, without fear and with true freedom, equal rights, and human dignity," Tlaib said.

"The path to that future must include lifting the blockade, ending the occupation, and dismantling the apartheid system that creates the suffocating, dehumanizing conditions that can lead to resistance."

Tlaib did not condemn the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, which launched a sneak attack involving a barrage of thousands of rockets and a ground assault into Israel on Saturday — sparking retaliatory strikes by the US ally and its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to declare the country was at "war."

"The failure to recognize the violent reality of living under siege, occupation, and apartheid makes no one safer. No person, no child anywhere should have to suffer or live in fear of violence. We cannot ignore the humanity in each other," she said.

"As long as our country provides billions in unconditional funding to support the apartheid government, this heartbreaking cycle of violence will continue," Tlaib added.

Tlaib is no stranger to controversial remarks on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Throughout her time in politics, Tlaib has assailed Israel’s settlement policies in the West Bank and the blockade around the Gaza Strip.

Back in July alongside Rep. Cory Bush (D-Mo.), she boycotted Israeli President Isaac Herzog’s joint address to Congress.

One of her ’Squad’ peers, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) — who along with Tlaib became the first female Muslim members of Congress in 2019 — called out Hamas by name.

"I condemn the horrific acts we are seeing unfold today in Israel against children, women, the elderly, and the unarmed people who are being slaughtered and taken hostage by Hamas," Omar said in a statement Saturday.

"Such senseless violence will only repeat the back and forth cycle we’ve seen."

Other members of the "Squad" called for a ceasefire in the region.

"Today is devastating for all those seeking a lasting peace and respect for human rights," Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said in a statement Saturday. "I condemn Hamas’ attack in the strongest possible terms. No child and family should ever endure this kind of violence and fear, and this violence will not solve the ongoing oppression and occupation in the region.

Hamas’ surprise attack, which caught Israeli defense and intelligence flatfooted, came just one day after the 50th anniversary of the start of the Yom Kippur War, which saw Israel fend off a coalition of Arab states led by Egypt and Syria.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has promised "mighty vengeance" and that Israel will emerge "victorious" in the raging conflict.

Israel has begun bombarding key Hamas site in the Gaza Strip and indicated that a lengthy and powerful crackdown is looming in retaliation.
As of Sunday afternoon, the death toll stood at least 700 dead and 2,100 missing on the Israeli side, per health officials.

On the Palestinian side, over 313 Palestinians are reported dead and 1,990 reported missing, including 20 killed and 121 injured children, according to the Health Ministry.

Congress has been gripped by paralysis due to the ouster of former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) last week.
Not really, but go on
But some lawmakers have already dangled the prospect of replenish Israel’s sophisticated Iron Dome missile defense system.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Hezbollah says Hamas attack message for Arab nations seeking normalisation
[GEO.TV] Glorifying the Paleostinian freedom movement Hamas, a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",'s "heroic operation" against Israel that killed over 150 Israelis, Leb
...an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozeen flavors of Christians. It is the home of Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
's Hezbollah Saturday said this attack was a message for Arab nations seeking to normalise ties with Israel.

Lebanon’s Hezbollah issued a statement on Saturday saying they were closely following the situation in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
and were in "direct contact with the leadership of the Paleostinian resistance."

The group also said the Hamas operation was "a message to the Arab and Moslem world and the entire international community, especially those seeking normalisation".

Is it meant for Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
?
Saudi Arabia is determined to secure a military pact requiring the United States to defend the kingdom in return for opening ties with Israel and will not hold up a deal even if Israel does not offer major concessions to Paleostinians in their bid for statehood, Rooters reported quoting sources.

According to Rooters, agreements giving the world’s biggest oil exporter US protection in return for normalisation with Israel would reshape the Middle East by bringing together two longtime foes and binding Riyadh to Washington after China’s inroads in the region.

For Biden, it would be a diplomatic victory to vaunt before the 2024 U.S. election.

The Paleostinians could get some Israeli restrictions eased but such moves would fall short of their aspirations for a state.

As with other Arab-Israeli deals forged over the decades, the Paleostinian core demand for statehood would take a back seat, the three regional sources familiar with the talks said.

"The normalisation will be between Israel and Saudi Arabia. If the Paleostinians oppose it the kingdom will continue in its path," said one of the regional sources. "Saudi Arabia supports a peace plan for the Paleostinians, but this time it wanted something for Saudi Arabia, not just for the Paleostinians."

Israel declares war
Israel said it was at war with Hamas following the surprise dawn attack from the blockaded Gaza Strip.

"Hezbollah congratulates the resisting Paleostinian people," the Lebanese movement said in a statement, hailing Hamas and its armed wing, the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, for the "large-scale, heroic operation".

Hezbollah said its leadership was following the developments and "in direct contact with the leadership of the Paleostinian resistance at home and abroad".

Safieddine calls on Israel to understand Shebaa Farms 'message'
[An Nahar] Senior Hezbollah official Sayyed Hashem Safieddine on Sunday warned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that "this battle is not only Gazoo

’s battle," hours after Hezbollah attacked Israeli military posts in the occupied Shebaa Farms.

"The responsibility obliges all the sons of our nation not to be neutral and we are not neutral," Safieddine said during a pro-Paleostine rally in Beirut’s southern suburbs.

"The resistance sent a message this morning in Kfarshouba to say that it is our right to target the enemy that is still occupying our land and the Israelis must read this message well," he added, referring to the Shebaa Farms attack.

"There is a message to the Americans and Israelis that what happened in Gaza means that your protracted foolishness and underestimation have led you to the al-Aqsa Flood (Operation), and if you go further today you will witness the flood of the entire nation, not only al-Aqsa," Safieddine cautioned.

He also warned that "the scene of the storming of settlements around Gaza coupled with rocket shelling will one day be repeated dozens-fold stronger, from Leb

Friendship is secret and open. What support does Hamas receive from Iran?
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Mikhail Zakharov

[REGNUM] US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Washington could not currently confirm that Iran was behind the attack on Israel. “We have not yet seen any evidence that Iran directed or was behind this attack, ” Blinken said in an interview with CNN. At the same time, Blinken added that the Hamas group, which carried out the largest attack on Israel in many years on Saturday, would not have gained so much strength if not for the support of Iran in recent years. “Iran and Hamas have a long-standing relationship. In fact, Hamas would not exist in the form it does without the support it has received from Iran over the years,” he said.

Earlier, Israeli Ambassador to Russia Alexander Ben Zvi said that Iran also bears responsibility for the actions of the Palestinian Hamas movement: “Other forces are behind this. For example, Iran, which finances such terrorist organizations. They are always sorry that our relations with various Arab countries are improving."

At the same time, deputies of the Iranian parliament on October 7 expressed their support for the military operation of the Hamas movement against Israel, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Iranian Tasnim agency. “Parliament members, at the beginning of their evening meeting on the occasion of the unprecedented operation of Palestinian resistance groups, declared their support for this action of the Palestinian Mujahideen,” the report said.

It is no coincidence that the degree of Iran's involvement in the actions of Hamas greatly worries Tel Aviv, Western countries and Arab states against the background of the escalation of the military conflict in Israel. Israel has long accused Iran of threatening its own security, considers it its enemy and has repeatedly threatened Tehran, including with a military strike.

Iran, in turn, which calls Israel “the little Satan,” also does not hide its hostile attitude towards Tel Aviv, actively escalating anti-Israeli rhetoric and supporting military groups attacking Israel like Hezbollah, Iran’s paramilitary proxy unit and Hamas ally.

"UNCONFIRMED INFORMATION"
Yes, on the one hand, the Hamas movement has repeatedly reported that Iran provides it with significant support. Back in 2012, Hamas Politburo member Izzat al-Reshek said that Tehran is the main sponsor of the group's government in the Gaza Strip. In 2021, the British publication The Telegraph confirmed this information, talking about multimillion-dollar Iranian tranches and quoting a representative of the movement in Lebanon that “Iran is the only country that supports the resistance with money and weapons.”

In the same year, the head of the Hamas Politburo, Ismail Hani, admitted that he had received financial and military-technical assistance from Iran. “Our relationship with Iran is strategic and forms a very important pillar of the resistance project,” he said. “It is no secret that Iran provides political, material, military and technical support to the resistance in Palestine.”

There have been more than one occasion when the Israeli military intercepted ships going to the Gaza Strip with weapons destined for local groups. Thus, in 2014, a container ship was detained in the Red Sea , on board of which 40 M-302 missiles, mortar shells and cartridges were found. Then UN experts confirmed the Iranian origin of the cargo.

Moreover, CBS NEWS previously reported, citing the words of Secretary of the Council of Political Expediency of Iran Mohsen Rezaei, that Hamas is capable of firing missiles at Israel because Tehran provided the group with the necessary technology. According to him, this was done so that the Palestinians could create weapons under the blockade and defend themselves.

Tehran then denied accusations of supplying weapons to the Palestinian group, and it does not openly admit this today. Most likely, Iranian support comes down to political and diplomatic methods, but it is possible that unofficially Tehran may also provide military assistance to the Palestinian group, says Boris Dolgov, senior researcher at the Center for Arab and Islamic Studies at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, for Regnum.

“As for specific support, this support is primarily political and, so to speak, moral, political and diplomatic,” notes Dolgov. “But there is support, according to various sources, not officially confirmed, and in terms of providing some weapons and, perhaps, military advisers are involved. This is unconfirmed information."

"TÜRKIYE AND QATAR ARE JEALOUS"
It should be noted that Iran’s influence on Hamas should not be exaggerated. Of course, on the one hand, Iran is ready to cooperate with various forces if they oppose Israel. On the other hand, religious and political contradictions are not so easy to overcome. Hamas belongs to the Sunni branch of Islam, and Iran is a Shiite country. Religious differences between Sunnis and Shiites, as well as difficult relations between Arabs and Persians, limit Iran's influence.

Hamas and Iran, by the way, have already experienced difficulties in relations, in particular, after the outbreak of the civil war in Syria, when Iran supported the government of Bashar al-Assad , and Hamas sided with the militants. “Aid (to Iran - editor's note) has been stopped - both military aid to Hamas and civilian aid to the population of Gaza. Because of this, the movement has difficulties , ” Musa Abu Marzuk, deputy head of the Hamas Politburo, complained then about the cessation of funding from Tehran.

In addition, Turkey and Qatar have considerable influence, financial and ideological, on Hamas. Their relations with Tehran in terms of influence on the Palestinian group can also hardly be called cloudless, explains political scientist Said Gafurov for Regnum news agency . “Hamas is much closer ideologically to Qatar and Turkey,” the expert says. “These countries are jealous and, in general, are trying to keep the Iranians away from Hamas.”

Ankara and Doha patronize the movement, providing it with significant financial assistance, researchers note . It is unlikely that they will voluntarily completely hand over to Iran such an expensive and important instrument of influence on the balance of power in the Middle East region.

"IRAN IS IN NO HURRy"
Tehran's support for Hamas today is more of a media and ideological nature, and Iran is in no hurry to interfere more strongly in what is happening, experts say. This is happening both because of the threat of new sanctions from the West and because of the reluctance to provoke an intensification of the conflict (and the escalation of assistance to Hamas will not go unnoticed), which is fraught with unpredictable consequences for Tehran.

“Tehran will be more active in the ideological sphere, showing the maliciousness of Israel’s policies, the support that Israel is currently receiving from the United States and from European countries too. Everything will be around this. Some more stringent methods of influencing the situation are not yet visible,” notes Andrey Baklanov, a professor at the Department of Foreign Regional Studies at the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs at the National Research University Higher School of Economics, and advisor to the Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council, in a conversation with IA Regnum.

The expert notes that Tehran understands the seriousness and inevitability of the results of its possible intervention in the current conflict. “Iran is not interested in aggravating the sanctions pressure, the sanctions regime. Of course, everyone is watching what is happening on this piece of land (in the Gaza Strip - editor's note), and with elements of some kind of supply, logistics or some other, there will be serious claims against Iran, says Baklanov. “Iran can’t afford this; it will have serious consequences for it.”

On the other hand, Boris Dolgov notes, much will depend on the development of the current escalation of the conflict in the Gaza Strip. In his opinion, in the current scenario, Tehran intends to continue its usual policy, and its assistance will be mainly diplomatic, political and humanitarian. “But, perhaps, if Israel’s actions against Hamas develop more harshly, the conflict will become more severe, and support, so to speak, by sending weapons, sending advisers, is also possible. But it is unlikely that Iran or any Arab countries will directly intervene militarily ,” the expert sums up.
