Biden Is ‘Scared' Ukraine May Win, Analyst Asserts
[NYSun] One of Britain’s foremost political analysts has suggested that Western leaders, intimidated by Vladimir Putin’s nuclear hints and alarmed by rising domestic costs, are “scared, deep down” that Ukraine may win the war that Russia is waging against it. Writing in London’s Guardian newspaper this week, Simon Tisdall took a swing at President Biden by claiming that this fear is already condemning Ukraine to one of the “forever wars” that, on the campaign trail in 2020, the American president pledged to end.

-Great Cultural Revolution
Immigration in the US (Legal and otherwise)
[US11] In-migration to the United States hit a relative historical low in the 1970s—the decade in which America’s Boomers came of age. For Boomers—an overwhelmingly white demographic—their primary experience with interracial politics was the civil rights movement, a movement that involved people who were already here at a time when the Boomers were young and politically liberal.

In-migration then rose steadily until reaching a near-historical high (again, in relative terms) in the 2010s, at which point the Boomers were nearing retirement and in doing so becoming politically . . . stodgy. In each and every decade as the Boomers aged, the largest single immigrant group was always Mexican. In the minds of many Boomers, Mexicans have long been not simply the "other," but the "other" that has arrived in ever-larger numbers. A big reason why so many Boomers have been so supportive of nativist politicians such as Donald Trump is that their feelings of shock at the pace of change in American society is not a collective hallucination. It is firmly backed up by reality. This is one piece of the kaleidoscope of why American politics has turned so sharply insular in the 2010s and early 2020s.

But regardless of what you think about Boomers or Mexicans or race or trade or assimilation or borders, there are a couple of thoughts to keep in mind:

First, Mexicans are already in the United States. Whether you’re concerned with what American culture feels like or what the labor market looks like, the great Mexican wave has not only come, it is over. Net migration of Mexicans to the United States peaked in the early 2000s and it has been negative for twelve of the thirteen years since 2008. Just as industrialization and urbanization pushed down birth rates in the developed world, the same process has begun in Mexico, just a few decades later. Today’s Mexican demographic structure suggests it will never again be a net large-scale contributor to American migration. Most of the big migrant flows into the United States since 2014 have instead been from the near-failed Central American states of Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala.

Second, even among the most nativist strains of American political thinking, room has been found for Mexicans. In just two years, none other than Donald Trump went from openly condemning Mexican migrants as rapists and "bad hombres" to embracing Mexico in trade and security deals that took bilateral relations to their friendliest and most productive in the history of both republics. Part and parcel of Trump’s renegotiation of the NAFTA accords were clauses that expressly aim to bring manufacturing back to North America. Not to the United States specifically, but to any signatory of the accords. Team Trump added those clauses with Mexico expressly in mind.

On the other side of the equation, Mexican-Americans are turning nativist. The demographic in the United States that consistently polls the most anti-migration is not white Americans, but instead (non-first-generation) Mexican-Americans. They want family reunification, but only for their own families. Never forget that anti-migrant, build-the-wall Donald Trump carried nearly every county on the southern border when running for reelection in 2020.

Foreigners captured by Russian forces sentenced to death. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
[BBC] UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss has just spoken with her Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba.

They discussed the death sentences given to two Britons, Aiden Aslin and Shaun Pinner, and Moroccan national Brahim Saaudun. The three soldiers were captured by Russian troops while fighting for Ukraine.

Truss tweeted that the judgement against them was an "egregious breach of the Geneva convention" and that her and Kuleba had discussed efforts to secure their release.
I'm pretty sure the Geneva convention allows battlefield executions of foreign mercenaries.
"There's no justification at all for this breach of the protection they're entitled to."
The Geneva conventions apply to regular uniformed soldiers of a national military force.

#1  Good model for Western governments to follow for all the returning ISIS members. A ritual trial followed by execution. Oh, and those Russian mercs in Syria, Libya, et al.

I'm pretty sure the Geneva convention allows battlefield executions of foreign mercenaries

I suggest you check the fine print. If combatants are properly uniformed, generally no. If they are out of uniform or in the uniform of their enemy, they're considered spies and not covered by the convention.

#2  What is the difference between a foreign mercenary and a foreign international terrorist 'activist' / freedom fighter ? Other than the Leftists in the media love one and hate the other... #3  What is the difference between a foreign mercenary and a foreign international terrorist 'activist' / freedom fighter ?

Typically one signs a contract to be in the nation's military. That way they are a soldier of that nation and should be treated accordingly. The terrorist just shows up and is given the tools needed.

By the Geneva convention, they should be treated as prisoners of war. I doubt Russia will execute them. This is more of a PR stunt and negotiations will follow for their release. Most likely with lots of money.

Europe
Gay Pride Parade in Germany Attacked by ‘Men of Southern Origin’
[InfoWars] Around 30 men of "southern origin"
...that means migrants, probably even Moslem colonists...
attacked the pride parade, setting fire to a rainbow flag and physically attacking the participants.

"The situation escalated late on Saturday evening when the men stole a rainbow LGBT flag from the parade and set it on fire," reports ReMix News.

"A group surrounded, insulted, and beat the man who had been carrying the flag, the German news outlet Queer.de reported. Those who came to the victim’s aid were assaulted as well, with the original victim ending up in the hospital."

Eyewitnesses say victims suffered a number of serious injuries, including concussions and broken bones.

According to the CSD Karlsruhe association, similar attacks on gay pride parades also took place in numerous other German cities over the weekend.

Last year, then Chancellor Angela Merkel claimed Germany’s decision to allow over a million migrants to enter the country from 2015 onwards had been a success.

However, since the influx, violent crime and sexual attacks have skyrocketed.

As Reuters reported, across the whole country, “Violent crime rose by about 10 percent in 2015 and 2016, a study showed. It attributed more than 90 percent of that to young male refugees.”

Meanwhile, Germany’s left-wing government is pushing for a change in immigration laws which would see 100,000 illegal migrants given amnesty and permanent residency.

Government Corruption
Today's blacklisted American: Republican candidate for Michigan governor arrested by FBI
See more here.
[Behind the black, HT Insty] Blacklists are back and the Democrats have got ’em: One day after President Joe Biden joked on television with Jimmy Kimmel about "sending [Republicans] to jail," the FBI arrested Ryan Kelley, one of the Republicans running for Michigan governor, on misdemeanor charges for daring to stand on the steps of the Capitol building on January 6, 2021, but never entering it.

Kelley is charged 17 months after the Jan. 6 riot and on the same day the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol is to hold a primetime hearing Thursday to present never-seen video, new audio and a mass of evidence following a year-long investigation by the select panel.

The criminal complaint obtained by Fox News Digital charged Kelley with: knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority; disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds; knowingly engaging in any act of physical violence against person or property in any restricted building or grounds; willfully injure or commit any depredation against any property of the United States. All are misdemeanor offenses. [emphasis mine]

The videos appear to show Kelley on the steps of the Capitol, encouraging the demonstrators, but do not show him entering the building ever, or doing any damage or committing any violence. In other words, he was there to express his first amendment rights "to petition the government for the redress of grievance," an action the Bill of Rights expressly forbids the federal government from interfering with in any way.

And even if Kelley had committed some minor misdemeanors, who ever heard of arresting someone for such charges, seventeen months after the fact?

This is a down-right totalitarian action by the Biden administration, using the FBI to arrest its political opponents not for any real crime but for daring to challenge the rule of Democrats — during an election campaign. Having discovered during the Trump administration that they could get away with spying on Republicans and drumming up false charges to politically smear them, the Democrats and its allies in the federal government have moved on to the next step, using those false charges to arrest their opponents.

Gird your loins. Things are not going to get better in the next five months. All polls show that the Democrats are going to be badly defeated in the November elections. These power-hungry thugs however cannot tolerate defeat, and are going to use every tool in their toolbox — now including police power and military force — to prevent it.

More arrests are coming. So will efforts to block the candidacy of any viable Republican candidates. So will efforts to falsify election results. It is now the goal of the Democratic Party — and its mindless minions like Jimmy Kimmel — to rule without opposition, for all time. They will stop at nothing to make sure that happens. Count on it.

I would also say that if I lived in Michigan, I would now consider Ryan Kelley my first choice for Michigan governor, hands down.

2 Palestinians indicted for carrying out deadly Elad terror attack
[IsraelTimes] Prosecutors filed an indictment on Thursday against two Paleostinian men for a terror attack in the central city of Elad last month.

On May 5, As’ad Yusef As’ad al-Rifa’i, 19, and Subhi Emad Sbeihat, 20, allegedly hacked and stabbed three people to death and severely maimed several others.

Al-Rifa’i confessed to security forces that he committed the axe attack with Sbeihat, killing Oren Ben Yiftah, a 35-year-old driver from Lod, and Elad residents Yonatan Havakuk and Boaz Gol, both in their 40s. They attacked civilians on city streets and in a park as Israelis celebrated Independence Day with outdoor festivities.

Palestinian said killed by Israeli forces near Hebron during clashes
[IsraelTimes] Israeli army says troops raided West Bank town of Halhul to investigate a business suspected of terror financing; PA identifies deceased as Mahmoud Fayez Abu Ayhor, 27

A 27-year-old Paleostinian man was shot and killed by Israeli troops during festivities on Thursday afternoon in Halhul, near Hebron in the West Bank, the Paleostinian Authority Health Ministry said.

According to the Israeli military, fighting broke out while troops were carrying out a raid on a Halhul business suspected of financing the Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, terror group. Some NIS 1.1 million ($330,000) was confiscated during the operation and the business’s doors were welded shut, the army said.

"A riot broke out in which dozens of Paleostinians threw stones, bombs, and Molotov cocktails at Israeli troops, who used riot control means and gunfire. Hits were identified," the Israeli army said.

The PA Health Ministry identified the dead Paleostinian man as Mahmoud Fayez Abu Ayhor. Hamas hailed Abu Ayhor as a "heroic martyr," but did not claim him as a member of the terror group.

Paleostinian health officials say three other Paleostinians were rushed to al-Ahli Hospital in Hebron after being struck by live fire. Another two were maimed with rubber bullets, according to the PA Health Ministry.

In another video from the scene, soldiers can be seen arresting a Paleostinian suspect — identified by a Paleostinian prisoners’ group as Majdi Abu Yusef — in Halhul.

The Israeli army said some Paleostinians were detained during the raid but all were subsequently released.

Nine terror suspects were detained in separate predawn operations Thursday, the army said.

Tensions between Israel and the Paleostinians have seethed in recent months. A deadly wave of terror attacks in Israeli cities claimed the lives of 19 people between late March and mid-May. The military stepped up its West Bank activities in an attempt to crack down on the spiraling violence.

At least 30 Paleostinians were killed over the same period, according to Paleostinian health officials.

According to the PA, 62 Paleostinians have been killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank and East Jerusalem so far this year. Both tallies include many killed while committing violent mostly peaceful terror attacks or participating in festivities with Israeli forces. Others appear to have bystanders who were not involved in hostilities.

US reopens line of communication for Palestinians severed by Trump
[IsraelTimes] The Biden administration, the same old faces in slightly different places, the same old ideas, the same old graft
...the pack of self-imagined masterminds of strategy and intrigue at the service of the Biden Crime Family and a grateful nation...
on Thursday restored a line of communication to the Paleostinian Authority that had been cut by former US president Donald Trump
...The tack in the backside of the Democratic Party...
The largely bureaucratic, yet symbolic step came as Washington continued to hold off on reopening the US consulate in Jerusalem, a move demanded by Ramallah but opposed by Israel’s government.

Israeli jets said to strike targets south of Damascus for second time this week
[IsraelTimes] Syrian military official claims country’s air defenses managed to thwart most of attack but says civilian injured, material damage caused

Israeli planes reportedly carried out a series of strikes south of Damascus early Friday morning.

A Syrian military official told state media that the county’s air defense systems managed to thwart most of the attack, but that the strikes caused one civilian injury as well as material damage.

The "Israeli aggression" began at around 4 a.m. with several projectiles being fired from the Golan Heights toward southern Damascus, Syrian state media reported

It was the second air raid attributed to Israel this week. Late Monday night, Syrian state media reported that Israeli missiles targeted Syrian army positions also south of Damascus, causing damage but no casualties.

A Twitter account tracking Israeli military activity in Syria claimed the strikes targeted sites in the suburb of al-Kiswah, south of Damascus, and near the Damascus International Airport, southeast of the city. The London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also reported similar information. The claims could not immediately be independently verified.

There was no comment on the strike from Israel, which rarely publicizes such attacks.

Abbas confidant tears into US for refusing to delist PLO in meeting with senior Biden aide
[IsraelTimes] Senior Paleostinian Authority official Hussein al-Sheikh slams the United States’ continuing categorization of the Paleostine Liberation Organization as a terror group during a meeting with US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Israeli and Paleostinian Affairs Hady Amr in Ramallah.

Removing the PLO terror tag has been a key demand by Ramallah to current US President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. An incredibly corrupt version of Jar-Jar Binks, only well into his dotage. The dumbass who abandoned Afghanistan....
. Thus far, it remains unfulfilled.

Al-Sheikh also criticized Israeli policies that he said were destroying the possibility of establishing an independent Paleostinian state.

"[We] stressed that the absence of a political horizon and Israel’s continuation of its unilateral measures are killing the possibility of a two-state solution," Sheikh says in a statement.

Amr’s meeting comes in advance of a planned visit by Biden to the region in July. The date was set for mid-June but was later delayed to the following month.

The two officials also discussed some matters to "prepare for the visit" of US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Barbara Leaf in the coming days, Sheikh tweets.

In rare occurrence, Hamas forces clash with residents in northern Gaza
[IsraelTimes] Hamas, a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth", security forces clash with Paleostinians in the northern Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Strip in rare public disturbances in the coastal enclave.

Paleostinians in the so-called "Bedouin Village" in northern Gaza live on land claimed by the Hamas-run Gaza government. Officials have sought to advance government projects in the area, causing tension with the residents, whom Hamas views as squatters.

"We have the right to live in dignity, in our homes," one resident says in a clip circulating on social media.

The Hamas terror group keeps a tight lid on public dissent in Gaza and has cracked down viciously on Paleostinians critical of its governance.

It isn’t immediately clear whether the incident is linked to errant gunfire from Gaza earlier today that hit a farm building near the Israeli town of Netiv Ha’asara.

Nigeria: Mob Burns Man Alive After Arguing with Muslim Cleric
[Breitbart] A Nigerian man named Ahmad Usman was assaulted by a mob in the capital city of Abuja and set on fire Saturday, after he was seen arguing with a Muslim cleric. Usman was taken to the hospital by police, but declared dead on arrival.

“The heated argument degenerated into an outbreak of violence that led to the murder and setting ablaze of Ahmad Usman by the enraged mob mobilized by the clergy, numbering about two hundred,” Abuja police spokeswoman Josephine Adeh said.

Adeh described the murder as “jungle justice” and promised “adequate sanctions” would be rendered against those responsible for the “crude and dastardly act.”

The Nigerian Tribune described Usman as a 30-year-old “member of a vigilante group,” and said he was first stoned and then immolated for “allegedly making statements deemed to be blasphemous.”

According to this account, Usman’s unnamed vigilante group was guarding a building in a suburb of Abuja on Saturday when it deemed some local residents to be troublemakers and tried to “arrest” them.

“The residents were said to have begged the vigilance group to free them in the name of Allah, but one of the vigilantes kicked and made comments said to be blasphemous,” the Nigerian Tribune reported.

The Premium Times of Nigeria added more details on Monday, saying trouble began when Usman tried to “arrest” a fried yam vendor because he was in the market area after midnight, breaking a deadline imposed by the community.

A local witness said Usman made “blasphemous comments” after the yam seller, who turned out to also be a Muslim cleric, demanded to be released “in Allah’s name.”

Other members of Usman’s vigilante group said a mob of black-clad men with stones appeared, trashed the group’s office, and then used burning tires to set Usman on fire.

Nigeria’s Emergency Digest reported on Tuesday that the yam-slinging cleric who ordered Usman’s death has been identified as Malam Lawan and taken into custody by police. This report said Usman himself was Muslim, and was “buried on Saturday according to Islamic rights.” The report mentioned that Usman was married earlier this year.

Both Nigerian and international media put Usman’s death in the context of rising tensions after the murder of Deborah Samuel Yakubu, a Christian student at the Shehu Shagari College of Education in the state of Sokoto who was beaten, stoned, hanged, and burned by a Muslim mob last month.

Yakubu was killed after sending a WhatsApp message to classmates that was “deemed to be insulting to the Prophet Muhammas,” as Human Rights Watch (HRW) put it. Her killers videotaped themselves celebrating over her dead body.

Muslim students rioted after two suspects were arrested for Yakubu’s murder, and police indicated they would track down the others who appeared on video abusing her corpse. The mob demanded police release all suspects and discontinue their manhunt.

The Biden State Department removed Nigeria from its list of countries that severely violate religious freedom in November 2021.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
Saint Paul criminal attempted murder who shot at car with kids inside gets 4 months
[AlphaNews] A St. Paul man who was facing up to 17 years in prison for firing his gun at a car with children inside was sentenced last week to four months in jail.

But he will serve that sentence either on house arrest or work release, depending upon eligibility, thanks to a plea deal and the sentencing decision of Ramsey County Judge Joy D. Bartscher. He will then do four years of probation.

Jacob Savon Gunn, 20, fired three bullets at a GMC Denali last August near the intersection of Payne and Minnehaha avenues in St. Paul, according to a criminal complaint. Inside were two children, a 4-year-old girl and a 1-year-old boy.

Gunn initially told police that an adult passenger who was also in the Denali had "pulled a gun" on him. He then claimed he was meeting up with someone to "buy something" and said he had text messages about the sale.

Gunn was charged with one count of using a dangerous weapon in a drive-by shooting and one count of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, both felonies that come with a combined maximum sentence of 17 years.
Guess the electric chair is to costly for Judge Joy D. Bartscher
Previously, Judge Bartscher served as Executive Director of the Neighborhood Justice Center.

Judge Bartscher’s sentencing decision was a "downward dispositional departure," which occurs "when the court stays execution of sentence when the guidelines call for execution of sentence."
The gun was sentenced to twenty years, with no chance of parole.

The Washington Post Fires Felicia Sonmez Amid Week of Infighting
[DailyBeast] The Washington Post has fired national political reporter Felicia Sonmez, The Daily Beast has confirmed, capping off a week’s worth of highly public drama at the paper.

The Post declined to comment. Sonmez declined to comment.
For once. This bitch has been trying to get fired or take control for weeks now
Sonmez’s exit from the paper comes after a week of WaPo infighting that stoked heated conversations over newsroom inequity and social-media use, with multiple reporters taking shots at each other in public.

Somnez was emailed a termination letter, according to The New York Times, pointing to “misconduct that includes insubordination, maligning your co-workers online and violating The Post’s standards on workplace collegiality and inclusivity.”

“We cannot allow you to continue to work as a journalist representing The Washington Post,” the letter said.

The Washington Post Guild declined to discuss Sonmez’s firing in a statement Thursday, but it did warn that workers should only be disciplined with “just cause.”

Washington Post ‘clusterf–k’: Staffers fume at reporter Felicia Sonmez for ‘pouring gas on the fire’

[NYPost] Washington Post staffers said the chaos sparked by Twitter battles between Felicia Sonmez and other reporters over the suspension of Dave Weigel was a “clusterf–k” that has been made worse by her “pouring gasoline on the fire and inviting people to watch.”

The comments came a day before the Jeff Bezos-owned broadsheet apparently had enough of Sonmez’s tweetstorms and reportedly fired her.

In recent days, Sonmez, who recently lost a discrimination lawsuit that she filed against her newspaper, has defied management’s edict to rein in her Twitter attacks on colleagues.

On Thursday — hours before reports surfaced of that the paper had canned her — she slammed reporters for “downplaying the Post’s workplace issues” after they praising the “collegial” atmosphere in the newsroom.

UN watchdog says Iran plans to ramp up uranium enrichment
More impossible assassinations and mysterious explosions in Mossad’s future...
[AnNahar] Iran
...The nation is noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence...
plans to install two new cascades of advanced centrifuges that will allow Tehran to rapidly enrich more uranium, the U.N.'s nuclear watchdog said Thursday, the latest escalation in the standoff over the country's atomic program.

The decision to add the two IR-6 centrifuges cascades at its underground Natanz nuclear facility comes as countries at an ineffective International Atomic Energy Agency meeting in Vienna voted Wednesday night to censure Iran. The rebuke deals with what the watchdog refers to as Iran's failure to provide "credible information" over man-made nuclear material found at three undeclared sites in the country.

Caribbean-Latin America
Migrant Caravan Headed to USA Grows to 12K
[Breitbart] An organizer of the potentially largest-yet migrant caravan says the group headed to the United States grew to approximately 12,000. The group crossed the border from Guatemala to Mexico over the weekend and could grow to as many as 15,000, leaders estimate. Mexico is offering work visas to the members of the caravan.

Luis Villigran, the leader of the caravan making its way to the U.S. southern border, told Fox News their ranks have swelled to approximately 12,000 migrants. He added that the Government of Mexico is offering work visas, which will also allow free movement within the nation as the migrants head north.

Over the weekend, Mexican police and immigration officials allowed the then nearly 10,000-strong migrant caravan to cross the border from Guatemala into Tapachula, Mexico, Breitbart Texas reported. The group began moving northward without resistance from the Mexican authorities.

The migrants are counting on President Joe Biden to cancel the Title 42 coronavirus protection protocol put in place during the Trump administration.

“He promised the Haitian community he will help them,” migrants told Fox News on Friday. “He will recall Title 42. He will help us have real asylum.”

“Now we need him to keep his promise,” a Haitian migrant stated.

Colombian migrant Robinson Reyes told the BBC they timed their departure from Mexico’s southern region to coincide with the Summit of the Americas in Los Angeles. “That’s why we went out today,” he told the British news outlet. “God willing, they can talk and resolve this”.

U.S. President Joe Biden is expected to meet with many of the regional leaders on Friday and sign a declaration relating to the mass irregular migration crisis. Biden Administration officials reportedly said the president will offer a “bold” new plan designed to share responsibility and “economic support for the countries that have been most impacted by refugees and migration.”

Mexic0’s President Andrés Manuel López Obrador will not be attending the summit or the meeting with President Biden after the White House refused to allow Venezuela and Cuba to participate. A Mexican official will reportedly sign the agreement on their president’s behalf.

By Tuesday, the growing caravan reached the Mexican town of Huixtla, Chiapas, the Associated Press reported. This is approximately 25 miles from where they departed on Monday.

The Mexican asylum agency is reportedly overwhelmed with the increase in migrants in their nation. The AP reported the agency processed more than 130,000 asylum requests in 2021 — triple the previous year. This year the numbers spiked another 20 percent over the 2021 level.

The Biden Administration is in the process of appealing a court order stopping the administration from canceling the Title 42 protocol. In May, open border activists lobbied the administration to bring Title 42 to an end, Breitbart reported.

A combination of official and unofficial numbers from U.S. Customs and Border Protection sources show that more than 600,000 migrants crossed the U.S. border from Mexico since March 1. Ending Title 42 could bring approximately 18,000 illegal border crossers per day to the border, according to a DHS report reviewed by Breitbart.

BSF fires at suspected Pakistani drone along IB in Jammu

The Border Security Force (BSF) shot up a suspected Pak drone along the International Border (IB) in Jammu district in the early hours of Thursday, forcing it to return, officials said.

They said a massive search operation has been launched to trace any weapon or explosive that it might have dropped.

"A blinking light suspected to be from a drone was observed in Arnia area (along the International Border) about 04:15 hours today," a BSF spokesperson said.

Alert BSF troops fired at the flying object which was at a height of about 300 metres, causing it to withdraw, he said.

The security forces have been alert to attempts being made by Pakistain and terror outfits across the border to smuggle weapons, ammunition and explosives through drones via the International Border in Jammu region to arm terrorists.

Forces have shot down several drones in the recent past in Jammu, Kathua and Samba sectors and seized their payloads including rifles, improvised bombs (IEDs), sticky bombs besides narcotics.

On Monday, the police had recovered three magnetic IEDs dropped by a drone in Akhnoor border area of Jammu after BSF shot it down with its payload.

On May 29, seven sticky bombs and as many under-barrel grenades (UBG) were found with a drone that was brought down by police in Rajbagh area of Kathua district.

FBI ‘Purging' Employees With Conservative Views
[12FT] Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) on Tuesday claimed that the FBI is "purging" employees who hold conservative viewpoints.

In a letter (pdf) to FBI Director Christopher Wray, Jordan, the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, said that multiple whistleblowers at the law enforcement agency had come forward alleging retaliatory actions to employees who had engaged in "disfavored political speech."

The letter redacted the names and positions of the alleged whistleblowers.

The Ohio Republican lawmaker said that in one instance, an alleged veteran was targeted for failing to agree with officials’ conclusions about the Jan. 6, 2021 breach of the U.S. Capitol.

The veteran, who allegedly served in the U.S military for several years and was deployed in Kuwait and Iraq, had their security clearance suspended, before being indefinitely suspended from duty and pay after sharing "personal views that the FBI was not being entirely forthcoming about the events of January 6."

"As a result, the FBI determined that [REDACTED] had ’espoused conspiratorial views’ and ’promoted unreliable information which indicates support for the events of January 6,’ and therefore the FBI questioned allegiance to the United States," Jordan wrote.

Jordan wrote that the same individual had "been rated as ’Exceeds Fully Successful’ in performance evaluations, has received several awards, and has never been disciplined or reprimanded until this instance."

Lawyers for the alleged whistleblower claimed that the FBI’s accusations against their client are a "monumental leap from objective fact" and a "distortion" of actions as well as "gross injustice" which violates their client’s right to exercise freedom of speech under the First Amendment.

In another incident, Jordan said that one alleged whistleblower, who has since left the FBI, had informed the House Judiciary Committee that they faced retaliation when they criticized the FBI in an anonymous survey circulated to employees following Jan. 6.

"The FBI allegedly escalated an adverse personnel action against this employee after [REDACTED] commented on the survey, which sought feedback about the [REDACTED] actions ’during the recent crisis/command post’ event. The employee, too, was never disciplined or reprimanded until after [REDACTED] criticized the FBI," the letter reads.

Jordan said multiple "whistleblowers have called it a ’purge’ of FBI employees holding conservative views."

A copy of the letter was also sent to Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) and Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz.

An FBI spokesperson told The Epoch Times in an email: "While the FBI does not comment on specific personnel matters, under no circumstances would we take action against employees for lawfully exercising their First Amendment rights. All FBI employees understand that adherence to rigorous security policies and the highest standards of integrity are critical to fulfilling our mission of protecting the American people and upholding the Constitution of the United States."

Jordan also claimed that a previous May 6 letter sent to Wray detailing allegations of the FBI’s alleged behavior had gone unanswered.

In an interview with Fox News on Wednesday, Jordan said that a total of six agents had come forward as whistleblowers, two of which related to a school board’s memo.

"We are conducting oversight to ensure the FBI is not retaliating against FBI employees for exercising their First Amendment rights and engaging in disfavored political speech," he wrote in his letter on Wednesday. "We reiterate our earlier requests for your personal assurance that the FBI will cooperate fully with the Department of Justice’s Office of Inspector General’s examination of these matters and for a briefing on the FBI’s purge of employees holding disfavored viewpoints."

The Ohio lawmaker’s letter comes as the House select committee probing the Jan. 6 attack is set to begin its public hearings on Thursday at 8 p.m.

[Vesti] Fighting continues in Severodonetsk, Russia is retreating-1200x800
Fierce fighting continues in Severodonetsk , the Ukrainian army managed to force the Russian military to retreat. This was announced on Thursday evening, June 9, by the head of the Lugansk regional military administration, Sergei Gaidai. He clarified that the losses of the Russians significantly exceed ours.

"The Buryats retreated because they are much weaker than our defenders ," Gaidai noted . In addition, there are fights in the settlements of the Gornaya and Popasnyanskaya communities.

The head of the region warned that the Russians were "powerfully bombarding Lisichansk" with large-caliber guns "penetrating concrete." It is extremely dangerous for citizens to be even in shelters, Gaidai noted. But, according to him, there are no fights both inside and around the city.

Because of the heat, the water level in the Seversky Donets river fell. " This means that the rashists will again try to establish crossings. We follow, in which case we will act ahead of the curve, " Gaidai added.

The situation at the front is difficult. We lose up to a hundred killed and up to 500 wounded every day, - Reznikov
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Censor] Currently, up to 100 Ukrainian servicemen are killed and up to 500 are injured daily, according to Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov.

The situation at the front is difficult. We are losing up to a hundred of our fighters killed and up to 500 wounded every day. The Kremlin continues to press, stumble, face strong resistance, suffer huge losses. Then Ukraine will win! " he said.

"I want to say that we see not only achievements but also mistakes. We receive all the signals, and criticism, too. We know our shortcomings and work hard to correct them," Reznikov added.

He is convinced that the main achievement is to preserve the synergy of the entire military-political leadership.

"This is our advantage as a country, and we will not allow it to be shaken by those who are already working with a view to ratings and political prospects. All those who work for defense for Ukraine's victory are one team. And our common goal is to defeat Russia. it was not difficult, "he said.

WaPo: Black Americans May Need to ‘Flee' U.S. Due to ‘Crazy White People'
[Breitbart] Black Americans may need to "flee the country" in the face of an apparently growing population of "crazy White people" who are "not to be trifled with," according to a recent Washington Post piece.

In an essay published in the Post on Tuesday titled, "Why Black people are afraid of ’crazy’ White people," columnist and associate editor Jonathan Capehart begins by letting readers in on a "little secret" — "black people" don’t fear typical white people, but rather "crazy" ones.

"Things felt so dicey during the Trump years, I half-joked that my husband and I might have to reenact that scene from ’The Sound of Music’ and flee the country," he said.
"My husband and I". So gay and black. Very Smolletey. "This is MAGA Country!"
"Now, an alarming new report from the Southern Poverty Law Center [SPLC] shows that my ’Operation von Trapp’ might need to go live," he added. "The ranks of ’crazy’ White people appear to be growing — and the rest of us don’t know what to do about it."

Commentary by Russian military blogger Andrey Chervonets

[Chernovec] Already looking forward to the front pages of tomorrow's British newspapers

The court of the DPR sentenced foreign mercenaries who fought against the Donbass and the Russian Federation to death.

No one will shoot them yet. Until 2025, a temporary moratorium on the execution of death sentences has been imposed in the DNR. Although, if necessary, it will be quickly canceled.

The day before, Deputy Prime Minister of Great Britain Dominic Raab said that the government of the country intends to file a protest in connection with the criminal case against Aslin. "You can only file a protest in the court of the republic.

De jure, this means recognition of the DPR. Let them file.

The mercenaries sentenced to death, they can also appeal the decision of the DPR court within a month and ask for pardon. If the head of the DPR pardons the convicts, the death penalty can be commuted to life or 25 years in prison.

#1  The Narrative has flipped. Ukraine is getting pulverized.

Here's the new Narrative from Britain's Ministry of Defence and MI6, as mouthed by The Independent:

OUTGUNNED, DEMORALISED, DESERTING
"Ukraine forces outgunned up to 40 to one by Russian forces, intelligence report reveals... Exclusive: Grinding conflict in east is ‘seriously demoralising’ Ukrainian forces, dossier says.

UKRAINIANS ARE COMPLETELY OUTGUNNED
"A report by Ukrainian and Western intelligence officials also reveals that the Ukrainians are facing huge difficulties responding to Russians shelling with their artillery restricted to a range of 25 kilometres, while the enemy can strike from 12 times that distance.

UKRAINIAN MORALE IS COLLAPSING
"For the first time since the war began, there is now concern over desertion. The report, seen by The Independent, says the worsening situation in the Donbas, with up to a hundred soldiers being killed a day, is having “a seriously demoralising effect on Ukrainian forces as well as a very real material effect; cases of desertion are growing every week”.

UKRAINIAN NEGOTIATING POSITION IS WEAKENING
"At the same time, as the Russians capture territories in the east, and consolidate their control over the seized cities of Mariupol and Kherson, the bargaining position of the Ukrainian government is being weakened by acute disparity in the numbers of prisoners being held by each side.

"The total number of Russian soldiers being held by Ukraine has fallen to 550 from 900 in April after a series of exchanges. Moscow meanwhile has more than 5,600 Ukrainian troops in captivity, the figure enlarged by the surrender of 2,500, including members of the Azov Battalion, in Mariupol...."

#3  Over at The Telegraph, a "leaked Ukrainian and Western intelligence report" confirms that "Ukraine’s soldiers face 200 daily casualties with desertion on the rise...Shortage of long-range missiles means depleted Ukrainian forces at risk of being fully encircled by Russian offensive in Donbas"

"Cases of desertion are growing every week in the Ukrainian army, according to a leaked intelligence report, as up to 200 of its outgunned soldiers are being killed every day in the eastern Donbas region.

OUTNUMBERED AND OUTGUNNED
Kyiv’s troops are outnumbered 20 to one in artillery and 40 to one in ammunition by the Kremlin’s forces in the area, the leaked Ukrainian intelligence report reveals.

"Mykhailo Podolyak, a senior aide to the Ukrainian president, on Thursday said the battle over the war-torn country’s industrial heartlands was so intense that Kyiv is suffering up to 200 military casualties per day. The previous upper limit was given as 100 soldiers. Russia has managed to gain the upper hand in the Donbas because of its superior long-range weaponry.

"GIVE US MORE. NOW!"
Mr Podolyak said Ukraine’s armed forces need donations of hundreds of the most powerful artillery systems to compete with Moscow’s forces, not the handful being sent by Western governments.

"The intelligence dossier, drawn up by Ukrainian and Western officials, warns of the growing risk of demoralised Ukrainian soldiers going AWOL...."

#10  The point is that Ukraine has obviously lost and the West's blame game has begun.

By suddenly putting out tons of catastrophic indicators, the British and American military and intelligence establishments are preparing the public for defeat. The sub-narrative of "outgunned" is designed to give the policymakers a convenient excuse for their failed, disastrous decisions.

Where all the billions actually went -- into whose pockets -- is of course not explained.

The ridiculous lying about casualties was the tell.

Since the war shifted east, the Ukrainian never had fewer than 100 killed in a day. The detailed and precise Russian after action reports indicate that the real number is in the neighborhood of 400-600 killed per day. And then the bizarre NY Times story complaining about being "kept in the dark."

They have next to nothing left -- next to no industry, no technology, no mining or O&G reserves. Literally all of the truly valuable and strategic provinces are gone -- for good.

Colombia: A Presidential Win for Leftist Ex-Guerrilla Could Trigger Global Drug Boom
Like it could get worse.
[Breitbart] Colombia’s potential next president, leftist ex-guerrilla member Gustavo Petro, has stated that he considers sugar a more dangerous substance than cocaine and proposed policy changes in Colombia’s longstanding war against drugs that could result in a global drug trafficking boom.

Petro, a former M19 Marxist guerrilla member, emerged victorious in the first round of Colombia’s 2022 presidential election last month. He will face off against outsider businessman Rodolfo Hernández in a runoff election for the Colombian presidency on June 19. While polls projected Petro to comfortably win the first round, the latest polls show Hernández as the favorite to win the race, with 52 percent vote intention against Petro’s 44 percent.

Protesters Allowed Outside Justice Brett Kavanaugh's Home After Assassination Threat
[Breitbart] The Justice Department appears to still be allowing protesters to gather outside of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s home even after police arrested a man who allegedly intended to assassinate him.

Video on Wednesday showed protesters marching in front of the justice’s home shouting pro-abortion slogans. The protesters also made their way over to Chief Justice John Roberts’ home as well.

Police arrested California resident Nicholas John Roske, 26, near Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s house in Maryland on Wednesday after he had allegedly traveled there to murder the sitting judge to protect Roe v. Wade.

“A California man carrying at least one weapon near Brett M. Kavanaugh’s Maryland home has been taken into custody by police after telling officers he wanted to kill the Supreme Court justice,” reported the Washington Post.

On Wednesday, the Democrat-led U.S. House stalled a bipartisan bill that would increase security for sitting U.S. Supreme Court justices.

“If these reports are correct, an assassination attempt against a sitting justice, or something close to it,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said on the floor. “This is exactly the kind of event that many feared that terrible breach of the Court’s rules and norms could fuel.”

Bolsonaro Implies Doubt on Biden Election Ahead of Latin America Summit
[ConservativeTreehouse] Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro wasn’t just throwing shade at the 2020 election outcome for Joe Biden, Bolsonaro seemingly ponders the question about how many western leaders might be the result of WEF manipulated elections. All things considered; it is a valid question.

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro on Tuesday cast doubt on the 2020 election victory of U.S. President Joe Biden, just two days before they are due to meet for the first time during the Summit of the Americas.

Bolsonaro, an outspoken admirer of former President Donald Trump, said in a TV interview that he still harbors suspicions about Biden’s victory and he again praised Trump’s government.

In 2020, the Brazilian leader voiced allegations of U.S. election fraud as he backed Trump. Bolsonaro was also one of the last world leaders to recognize Biden’s win.

"The American people are the ones who talk about it (election fraud). I will not discuss the sovereignty of another country. But Trump was doing really well," Bolsonaro said. "We don’t want that to happen in Brazil," he added.

With the totalitarian comfort we have seen from multiple western governments’, in both scale and scope, it does make you wonder just how far they would be willing to go to retain power. After all, there are trillions at stake.

Progressives Praise Big Tech Antitrust Bills for Their Potential to Bolster Censorship
Now, about DHS...
[Breitbart] Two antitrust bills that have attracted support from conservatives in Washington DC on the grounds of “bipartisan” efforts to curb the power of Big Tech are now being defended by progressives on the grounds that they will make the censorship of tech platforms easier.

Free speech activists on the Right are divided over the American Choice and Innovation Online Act and the Open App Marketplace Act. The ACIOA limits when Big Tech platforms can discriminate in favor of their own products against other “business users,” and the Open App Markets Act limits app hosting platforms (in practice, Google, Apple, and to a lesser extent Microsoft), from favoring their own apps or forcing other apps to use their app stores.

[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Barn, horse.
  • Uvalde School Superintendent Dr. Hal Harrell announced on Thursday that the district is reviewing its security procedures following the shooting on May 24

  • He said district officials are developing 'a list of actions we can take to strengthen security on all of our campuses'

  • One way to do that, he said, would be to hire more police officers to be assigned to each campus for the upcoming school year

  • He refused to answer questions about whether he still trusts Police Chief Pete Arredondo or whether students should feel safe in school next year

  • His announcement comes weeks after an 18-year-old gunman was able to enter Robb Elementary School and kill 19 students and two teachers

Sitting Bull's Winchester Model 1876 Lever Gun Is Set for Auction This Week
[OutdoorLife] Larry Ness, a collector from Yankton, South Dakota, spent five decades assembling a carefully curated collection that tracks the development of firearms from the earliest days of western expansion by American settlers to the dawn of the 20th century. One of the most storied rifles in his possession was a Winchester Model 1876 chambered in .45/75 WCF that belonged to the famed Lakota Sioux chief Sitting Bull. Ness had many other significant historic firearms acquired that included rifles used in the Battle of Little Big Horn, like a Model 1873 Trapdoor Carbine and Relic Colt 1873 single-action.

On June 8, Cowan’s Auctions will auction off the Winchester lever gun that belonged to Sitting Bull—along with many others—in one of the largest and most complete collections of Native American related firearms. Sitting Bull’s Winchester comes with extensive documentation supporting the attribution to the Sioux chief (1831-1890). The rifle was supposedly recovered from Sitting Bull’s cabin on the day he was killed (December 15, 1890) during a botched arrest attempt by U.S. Indian Police. The Model 1876 was turned in to Standing Rock Reservation Indian Agent Major James McLaughlin (1842-1923), who subsequently became the first owner of Sitting Bull’s rifle.

Denisova admitted that she made up the news about the crimes of the Russian military in Ukraine
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Commentary by Russian military blogger Andrey Chervonets

[Chernovec] "Fired from the Gestapo for cruelty" (even Ukrainian propaganda could not stand her excessive lies) ex-ombudsman Lyudmila Denisova tried to justify herself for her lie

"When I spoke in the Italian Parliament at the International Affairs Committee, I heard and saw such fatigue from Ukraine, do you understand? I talked about terrible things in order to somehow push them, to make decisions that Ukraine and the Ukrainian people need," Denisova said.

This explains the exponential brutality of each such fictional case and the lack of any specific information. Let me remind you that NOT A SINGLE report of rape has been confirmed by facts.

But in the case of Denisova, it is still clearly something with her head. To come up with such a detail, one must be a pervert and a deeply unhealthy person. Such inventions cannot get into a normal healthy head, it simply cannot be invented and not told to an adequate person.

For this she was fired, I quote the wording: "incomprehensible concentration on the numerous details of sexual crimes and rape of children in the occupied territories, which could not be confirmed by evidence." And the ladies in white shorts with red spots in Europe tried so hard ...

Iraq
Kurdish security forces say drone in Erbil launched by militia group
[Rudaw] The Kurdistan Region's Security Council on Thursday claimed the explosive-laden drone used in the attack on a road in Erbil the night before was directed by a militia group outside the Kurdish capital.

The security forces accused a "Hezbollah" militia of directing the rigged drone from the town of Pirde (Altun Kupri) in Kirkuk province, likely using the term to refer to an Iran-backed militia in the area.
That would be the Iraqi group of that name, an Iranian catspaw.
An explosive-laden drone struck Erbil-Pirmam road on Wednesday night, causing material damage to a restaurant and several vehicles as well as injuring three civilians.

The security forces also denounced rumors circulated by social media websites and Twitter accounts with thousands of followers which claim that the recent strike targeted a Mossad (Israeli intelligence) vehicle, claiming to have killed an agent.

"They may be able to feed these lies to the public opinion, but for the people of Erbil and the region who have seen the location, type of attack, and its consequences with their own eyes, this news has become ridiculous," the Kurdish forces affirmed, continuing with "those who make this claim want to cover up their failures and weaknesses."

The drone attack sparked widespread condemnation from local and foreign authorities, including the US-led coalition, who condemned the strike and expressed solidarity with the Kurdistan Region.

In the statement, the Kurdistan Region Security Council reiterated that the Region will never be a threat to other countries nearby, and called on them to respect the territorial integrity and illusory sovereignty of the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.

Drone and rocket attacks in the Kurdistan Region have largely been attributed to Iran-backed militias who in recent months have launched a series of attacks against Kurdish land.

General Staff cautiously announces a counteroffensive
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Vesti] Protracted battles continue in the Eastern direction. The Armed Forces of Ukraine deter the enemy through positional or maneuver defense, said Brigadier General, Deputy Chief of the Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksiy Gromov.

At the same time, according to him, the Ukrainian defenders began to go over to the counteroffensive. True, Gromov did not specify exactly where. " Simultaneously with the conduct of hostilities along all front lines in certain areas, the Ukrainian army is carrying out offensive operations. The offensive is being carried out to improve the operational situation and liberate the territory from the invaders ," the brigadier general emphasized .

Apparently, Gromov did not have in mind an offensive in the southern direction.

"Despite the fact that the Russian invaders do not carry out active hostilities in the southern regions, the enemy continues to seek to capture Nikolaev, thereby creating favorable conditions for an attack on Odessa," he added.

Fossil Fuel Companies Being Squeezed Out Say States
[ET] - accessible, thanks to Mullah Richard.
State treasurers spoke out against the imposition of environmental, social and governance (ESG) scoring on public money in a June 8 press conference, with one official comparing it to the social justice-driven push for universal homeownership that helped trigger the Great Recession.

In contrast to the "invisible hand"—Adam Smith’s metaphor for the operation of the free market—Oaks sees ESG as an "invisible fist."

[Utah State Treasurer] Oaks was one signatory to an April 21 letter from Utah’s governor, senators, congressional representatives and other public officials in response to S&P Global’s issuance of ESG ratings for US states and territories.

"Considering recent global events, the current economic situation in the United States, and the unreliability and inherently political nature of ESG factors in investment decisions, we view this newfound focus on ESG as politicizing the ratings process.

"It is deeply counterproductive, misleading, potentially damaging to the entities being rated, and possibly illegal," Oaks and his colleagues argued in that letter.

Idaho officials sent a similar letter to S&P Global on May 18. They echoed the Utah letter’s concerns with the firm’s scoring of American energy companies relative to some of their foreign counterparts.

China’s state-owned Sinopec, for example, earned a 41 from S&P Global. ExxonMobil Corporation, by contrast, received a 36, while Chevron Corporation received a 39.
Maybe China's more 'woke'.
Sinopec’s sub-scores on both "social" and "governance and economic" factors were well above the industry mean.
Of course - they pay more.
Another speaker at the June 8 press conference, West Virginia’s Treasurer Riley Moore, made headlines in January when the state divested from Blackrock over its ESG practices.

"In West Virginia, we’re an energy state. We produce coal, gas, and oil—and this ESG movement in its current form is really an existential threat to our jobs, our economy, and our tax revenue," Moore told reporters.

A law passed by the West Virginia Senate on March 12 will exclude financial institutions from competitive bidding with the state if they are boycotting fossil fuel companies.

He agreed that the economy could be facing an ESG bubble. Moore argued coal prices could be an indicator—the international benchmark for a tonne of coal has shot up from less than $50 in September 2020 to roughly $400 today.
Remind me - how much electricity for summertime A/C comes from coal?
"The coal producers are booked out through 2023. They can’t produce any more than they are right now," he added.
Well, if they could get leases and permits, they might.
Left-wing activists and financiers have celebrated the movement of investments from the hydrocarbon sector, arguing that pressure in that direction is both ethically and financially sound.

"Getting lenders to choke off money to fossil fuel companies is the next needed move for the industry to address the material risks that the coal, oil and gas industry faces," said Green Century Capital Management’s Leslie Samuelrich, as quoted in a February 2021 CNBC article.

"Fossil fuel mining, exploration, and extraction all are capital intensive activities that demand constant access to capital. If capital costs rise or the supply of capital is reduced, projects can become uneconomical and fossil fuel companies can see their valuations fall," wrote David Carlin in a February 2021 article for Forbes, "The Case for Fossil Fuel Divestment."

He argued that coal, oil, and natural gas companies may face "a grim financial future" if their reserves remain untapped as a result of political or financial pressure, suggesting that divestment advocates are "making a savvy financial decision."
Not so good for the energy consumer.

China-Japan-Koreas
China Warns Canada of ‘Severe Consequences' over North Korea Patrol
[Breitbart] Canada’s Air Force will face “severe consequences” if it continues alleged acts of provocation against Chinese aircraft while conducting U.N. Security Council-backed air surveillance of North Korea, Beijing warned Monday as quoted by Reuters.

China’s foreign ministry issued the deterrent message on June 6 while responding to an allegation by Canada on June 1 that Chinese warplanes recently harassed a Canadian military surveillance aircraft over the East China Sea while it monitored North Korean vessels for possible U.N. sanction evasion activities.

The Royal Canadian Air Force implied that its CP-140 Aurora long-range patrol aircraft was flying in international airspace when it was buzzed by several unspecified aircraft of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) sometime between April 26 and May 26. This implication was dismissed on June 7 by Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian, who intimated that Canada’s CP-140 had violated China’s airspace during the disputed incident.

“UN Security Council resolutions have never mandated any country to deploy forces and conduct surveillance operations in jurisdictional air and sea areas of other countries for the purpose of identifying sanctions evasion activities,” Zhao stated at a regular press briefing on Tuesday in Beijing.

“The Canadian military aircraft’s close-in reconnaissance on China is flat-out irresponsible and provocative,” he added.

The Chinese foreign ministry spokesman’s remarks came one day after he offered a more complete response to Canada’s allegation against the Chinese PLAAF on June 6.

Asked by a Chinese state media outlet called Dragon TV about the military encounter, Zhao said:

Canadian military aircraft have recently increased close-in reconnaissance and made provocations to the Chinese side in the name of implementing UN Security Council resolutions. This is a dangerous act against China’s national security and the safety of Chinese and Canadian front-line personnel. China firmly opposes this.

In response to the Canadian side’s provocative acts and unfriendly and unprofessional maneuvers, the Chinese military promptly took legitimate and forceful measures in response that are safe and professional. China has also lodged serious démarches with the Canadian side through diplomatic channels.

China urges Canada to see the severity of the incident and refrain from taking any adventurist or provocative moves. Otherwise all the grave consequences will be borne by the Canadian side.

Chinese defense ministry spokesman Wu Qian also commented on the air force incident between China and Canada in a statement issued on June 6. Echoing Zhao Lijian, PLA Col. Wu claimed Canada’s Royal Canadian Air Force had recently ramped up “close-in reconnaissance and provocations against China under the pretext of implementing United Nations Security Council resolutions […] endanger[ing] China’s national security and the safety of front-line personnel on both sides.”

Ukrainian Perspective: Invasion of Ukraine: June 9th, 2022
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Korrespondent] 23:15 Russian invaders are spreading fakes about an attack on Slovyansk, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding the lines, said the head of the Donetsk OVA Pavel Kirilenko on the air of the telethon: "Our Armed Forces of Ukraine courageously hold the defense along all lines. The enemy has not advanced. Of course, their goal is Slavyansk and Kramatorsk, but before Slavyansk they need to pass those lines that are equipped, and where we are preparing to meet them.

23:13 Secretary General of the Council of Europe Maria Pejcinovic-Burich strongly condemned the death sentences to three foreign citizens who participated in hostilities as part of the Ukrainian army: "The death penalty is incompatible with human dignity and constitutes inhuman and degrading treatment. It has no place on the European continent" .

23:09 Bloomberg writes that the Netherlands and Denmark oppose granting Ukraine the status of an EU candidate. Earlier today, Stefanchuk, after meeting with Dutch Foreign Minister Wopke Gukstroy, said that the Netherlands would support granting Ukraine candidate status. And Deputy Prime Minister Stefanyshina said that three European countries refuse to support the granting of this status to Ukraine.

22:45 Severodonetsk, in case of surrender, will be very difficult for the enemy to liberate, the mayor of the city Alexander Stryuk said on the air of the telethon: "Severodonetsk and Lisichansk are two satellite cities. Lysichansk is located on a mountain, Severodonetsk is on a plateau under the mountain. It is clear that they may ", and do not represent strategic value in military terms - this is more a question for the military command. But then it will be very difficult to liberate Severodonetsk. Therefore, I want to believe that our military will defend it and will not allow it to be completely occupied."

22:28 The daily losses of Ukrainian troops in the war with Russia range from 100 to 200 people, Podolyak said, the BBC Ukrainian service reports. One of the main reasons for the heavy losses, the adviser to the head of the Presidential Office called the lack of parity between Ukrainian and Russian military capabilities. According to him, Ukraine needs hundreds, not "handfuls" of the most powerful artillery systems that the West can provide. For parity with the firepower of the enemy and the de-occupation of the territory of Ukraine, according to Podolyak, up to 300 missile systems are needed.

22:07 Germany will provide Ukraine with up to 26 million euros to support the energy system, Ambassador Anka Feldhusen said.

22:04 For the Odessa and Nikolaev regions, the threat of missile strikes from the Black Sea has increased, warned the speaker of the Odessa OVA Sergey Bratchuk. According to him, Russia has deployed two of its ships and a submarine, which are carriers of sea-based cruise missiles of the Caliber type. In addition, Russian troops may try to penetrate into the Odessa region with the help of DRGs on small boats across the Danube.

21:58 In Kharkov, due to Russian aggression, 150 thousand people were left without housing, Mayor Igor Terekhov said. According to him, since the beginning of the war, 3.5 thousand houses have been destroyed in the city, of which 500 multi-storey buildings (including nine- and 16-storey ones) cannot be restored.

21:53 Johnson said that the rising cost of living in Britain should not be the reason for refusing to help Ukraine in the war with Russia.

21:51 The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military District Oleksandr Starukh said that the Russian troops are withdrawing from the Melitopol and part of the Vasilyevsky districts - this could be a rotation. According to him, some units of the Russian Federation withdrew in the Kherson direction, but representatives of the "DPR" entered certain territories.

21:37 Russia has begun systematically shelling car repair plants in Ukraine, the head of Ukrzaliznytsia Alexander Kamyshin said on the air of the telethon. According to him, the day after the attack on the Kyiv DVRZ on June 5, the Russians hit another car repair plant.

"They systematically hit our railway infrastructure every day," Kamyshin said. According to him, now this is one of the main strategies of the enemy - the Russians want to make Ukraine immobile.

21:04 The head of the Bundestag Committee on Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid Renata Alt said that the condemnation to death of two Britons and one Moroccan who fought for Ukraine, the self-proclaimed "DPR" - "this is a scandal and another gross violation of international military law." She confirmed that the men officially served in the Ukrainian army, therefore they are combatants and, accordingly, are protected by law.

"The whole procedure is a farce, because in the breakaway region there can be no question of an independent judiciary," Alt emphasized, adding that today's "verdict" can be interpreted "as an attempt to blackmail Russia and its henchmen against Britain and Morocco."

20:46 Fierce fighting continues in Severodonetsk, said the head of the Luhansk OVA Serhiy Gaidai. According to him, "the Buryats retreated because they are much weaker than our defenders." Also, the Russians are powerfully shelling Lisichansk from a large caliber that breaks through concrete, so it is extremely dangerous for the townspeople to be in the city, even in shelters. There are no fights in the city itself and around it. At the same time, fighting is going on in the settlements of the Gorskaya and Popasnyanskaya communities.

Gaidai noted that due to the heat, the water level in the Seversky Donets River fell, which means that the Russians will again try to abandon the crossings. “We are following, in which case we will act proactively,” he assured and added that the losses of the Russian Federation significantly exceed those of Ukraine.

20:30 In the "DNR" earlier death sentences were handed down only to those who committed especially grave ordinary crimes, the verdict on foreign "mercenaries" is passed for the first time, RIA Novosti was told in the press service of the "supreme court". At the same time, none of the death sentences handed down in the "DPR" has yet been carried out, the court clarified.

20:28 Zelensky will be invited to the NATO meeting on June 28-30, EFE reports. According to the agency, the Spanish government, in coordination with NATO and other institutions, is completing preparations for the summit. The final program of the meeting has yet to be approved by the alliance, after which an invitation will be sent to participate in the meeting of the President of Ukraine.

20:26 Switzerland has refused Poland to transfer the German Leopard 2A4 tanks it has, the Swiss Federal Department of Defense, Population Protection and Sports said in a statement. Recently, Poland requested tanks of the Leopard 2A4 type, obsolete in the Swiss army.

20:23 The process of forming a "people's militia" has intensified in Belarus. Thus, in the military commissariats, a meeting is held with local residents in order to explain the need to create these units. Also, in the regions bordering with Ukraine, the local population is prohibited from visiting forests, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.

20:19 The Kremlin is waiting for the moment when Ukraine's allies get tired of the war and stop supporting the Ukrainian Armed Forces so actively, said British Ambassador to Ukraine Melinda Simmons. She noted that a certain weariness from the war has already begun to be observed, especially in the Western media. According to Simmons, the most difficult period for Ukraine in 2022 will be the period from late autumn to the end of winter, because it is at this time that Russia will begin to blackmail the West with gas exports.

20:13 Russian oligarch of Ukrainian origin Mikhail Fridman is consulting with the Ukrainian authorities on how to obtain Ukrainian citizenship and re-register the main assets, said Alexander Novikov, head of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption. According to him, such a scenario is also possible for other Russian businessmen of Ukrainian origin, for example, for Viktor Vekselberg.

20:08 Podolyak said that Kherson and Zaporizhia will remain Ukraine, and "we will firmly liberate our territories, no matter what names the z-occupiers come up with." He also stressed that for the international community, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions will also remain the territory of Ukraine - "in particular, in the issue of using Western weapons to liberate Ukrainian lands."

19:53 Finland plans to build a fence on the border with Russia to strengthen its own security, the country's Interior Ministry said.

19:40 Ukraine will make every effort to release three foreigners from captivity, whom Donetsk militants "sentenced" to death today, Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Nikolenko said in a commentary to RBC-Ukraine. According to him, all foreigners fighting on Ukrainian territory as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are Ukrainian military personnel, and in accordance with international humanitarian law, they are subject to the legal status of combatants, that is, if they are captured by the enemy, they enjoy the rights of prisoners of war. The enemy is forbidden to commit violence against them, intimidate or behave inhumanely.

"Such public trials put the interests of propaganda above the law and morality, undermine the mechanisms for the return of prisoners of war. The Ukrainian government will continue to make every effort to release all the defenders of Ukraine," the Foreign Ministry spokesman added.

19:28 British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss commented on today's "sentences" to British citizens in the "DPR": "I categorically condemn the sentencing of Aiden Eslin and Sean Pinner, who were detained by Russian puppets in eastern Ukraine. They are prisoners of war. This is a fictitious court that has absolutely no legal strength. My thoughts are with the families. We continue to do our best to support them."

19:15 Three European countries refuse to support granting Ukraine candidate status for EU membership, Deputy Prime Minister Stefanyshina said: "In general, about seven EU countries are not Eastern European or Baltic countries, as you can imagine, - they made proposals about what "something different format, offering extra-candidacy or conditional candidacy. There were a lot of different proposals, but in fact there are three main countries that today do not want to give the green light to Ukraine."

At the same time, she expressed confidence that "on June 24, none of the leaders of the European Union will be able to say 'no' to Ukraine."

18:49 In Kherson and some cities of the region, information appears that the military invaders are transporting their families there, trying to convince the locals that they are here forever, OK Pivden reports: "The families of the invaders themselves do not hide their delight at the standard of living in the Kherson region, which even under the conditions of more than 100 days of occupation, many times higher than their native Russian regions."

18:33 Podolyak reacted to the attempts to annex the regions of Ukraine: "Any talk about the possibility of easing sanctions against Russia against the backdrop of the preparation of the annexation of the south and east of Ukraine is categorically unacceptable. Any attempt to "legalize" the occupied territories must receive a tough sanctions response. The Kremlin must understand the price of each next step."

18:15 Zelensky signed a decree imposing sanctions against Putin and other representatives of the Russian authorities. In addition to Putin, sanctions have been imposed against Peskov, Mishustin, Shoigu, Lavrov, Deputy Prime Ministers Belousov and Golikova, Khusnullin, Kolokoltsev. In general, sanctions were imposed against 35 representatives of the leadership of the Russian Federation, and 236 Russian universities were included in the sanctions list, including Moscow State University, Moscow State Technical University, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, St. Petersburg State University.

The sanctions have been introduced indefinitely, they involve blocking assets and property, preventing the withdrawal of capital from Ukraine, a ban on entering territorial waters and airspace, a ban on securities transactions, denial of visas, deprivation of state awards of Ukraine, etc.

17:54 According to the UN, since the beginning of the war, 4.8 million Ukrainians have been registered in Europe, of which 3.2 million have received temporary protection. In total, as of June 7, 7.27 million people crossed the border of Ukraine, 2.3 million returned.

17:51 Russian troops are trying to resume the offensive in order to completely capture the Zaporozhye region, Alexei Gromov, deputy chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said at a briefing. According to him, in the Zaporozhye, Krivoy Rog and Nikolaev directions, the enemy is conducting positional defense and shelling Ukrainian troops. Gromov also said that in the event of a complete capture of the Kherson region, the Russians would try to take Nikolaev in order to create conditions for an attack on Odessa.

17:43 The Ukrainian defenders of Azovstal did not hand over their weapons to the Russians, but left the factory after they themselves agreed on the conditions of their detention, so this cannot be considered a surrender, Defense Ministry intelligence told UP.

17:37 In Ukraine, the first sentences for leaving the battlefield or failure to comply with the order were handed down, Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar said on Thursday, June 9: "Leaving the battlefield is a crime. Criminal proceedings are opened for this. We had many working meetings with law enforcement bodies and courts, and today there are already the first sentences for these crimes.

17:35 The city council will ask the government to create a military cemetery in the capital for honorary burials of the defenders of Ukraine, Klitschko said. The city authorities propose to equip such a cemetery near the Babi Yar tract.

17:33 Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis called Russia's intention to cancel the recognition of Lithuanian independence "barbaric": "Only a country ruled by beasts could start such a war as Russia started. I am not surprised that in politics people do not act like human beings. And we must respond accordingly - be prepared to defend themselves and their allies by political, diplomatic or other means."

17:29 "Sentenced" to death, the British and the Moroccan, who fought on the Ukrainian side in the Donbass, can appeal the decision of the "DPR court" within a month and ask for pardon. If the leader of the “DPR” pardons the convicts, their death penalty can be replaced with life or 25 years in a colony. The death penalty, according to the "laws of the DPR", is carried out by firing squad.

17:03 Priests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church have collected more than 400 signatures for a church tribunal over the Moscow Patriarch Kirill. The head of the Russian Orthodox Church is accused of supporting the war in Ukraine and broadcasting militaristic ideas. This is our advantage as a country, and we will not let those who are already working with an eye on ratings and political prospects undermine it."

He also said that the situation at the front is difficult: “ We lose every day up to a hundred of our soldiers killed and up to 500 wounded. The Kremlin continues to put pressure on the mass, slips, is subjected to powerful resistance, suffers huge losses. But so far it has the strength to advance in certain areas front."

The advance of the Russian Federation in the Izyum direction has stalled since April, after Ukrainian troops skillfully used the terrain to slow down the enemy. RF units are likely to remain understaffed despite efforts to rebuild.

In addition, Russian forces have been conducting MLRS attacks and intelligence operations in the Mykolaiv region and will intensify operations in the Kherson region in response to recent Ukrainian counterattacks.

For example, military registration and enlistment offices in Crimea falsify the results of mandatory medical examinations conducted during the summer conscription period in order to maximize the number of conscripts.

08:46 Clashes between collaborators began in the Zaporozhye region, said the head of the OVA Oleksandr Starukh: “Those who decided to help the enemy have already begun to regret it ... Because of the thirst for profit and power, skirmishes began among collaborators. This is evidenced by the appearance of cases with explosions and explosions in the occupied territories. The traitors are afraid for their lives and now dream of escaping from our region to the Crimea."

You can go through the filtering on your own by driving a car to the city of Dokuchaevsk, Donetsk region, but getting a pass to move in the occupational commandant's office of Mariupol takes from a week. De facto, the city remains closed to travel even to Russia, the adviser added.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Study reveals 'huge scale and impact' of Israeli incursions over Lebanon
One would feel for them, if only Hizb’allah weren’t nestled so firmly in the Lebanese bosom.
[AnNahar] A study documenting at least 22,000 Israeli overflights in Lebanon Hezbollahstan
...a strong argument in favor of European colonialism, even French colonialism...
’s skies over the past 15 years has revealed the "huge scale and impact of Israeli incursions over Lebanon" as well as the "psychological effect on the country," British newspaper The Guardian reported on Thursday.

"For decades, the roar of Israeli jets, and the hum of surveillance drones have been regular features in the skies above Lebanon, buzzing towns and cities at will — and acting as constant reminders that war is never far away," The Guardian said.
They see you when you’re sleeping
They know when you’re awake
They know if you’ve been bad or good
...and their missiles will reach even under the bed where you’re hiding, so....
The study, which was published on Thursday by a new organization, AirPressure.info, demonstrates "just how pervasive that presence has been, with at least 22,000 overflights being documented in the past 15 years alone," the newspaper added.

"Those numbers have made warplanes an abiding soundtrack to Lebanese life and the ever present threat of violence a part of the country’s collective psychology," it said.

The research shows Israeli planes have occupied the skies of Lebanon for a total of eight and a half of the past 15 years.

"Few of the incursions are brief, with many lasting an average of four hours and 35 minutes. And most involve the most technically advanced fighter planes or surveillance aircraft in the world that basic Lebanese ground defenses offer no match for," The Guardian added, citing the study.

"Maps of the flight routes taken by the jets and drones reveal a spaghetti bowl of loops over most areas of Lebanon. The flights are concentrated in the south, where they appear to follow set routes. But Beirut is also a frequent destination, as are areas north of the capital and closer to the Syrian border," the newspaper said.

Lawrence Abu Hamdan, who assembled the research, which is the most comprehensive of its kind, said studies had shown regular exposure to overflights by warplanes had taken a toll on those living below. AirPressure.info has compiled 11 peer-reviewed papers from scientific journals that detail the acute physiological effects of aircraft noise, with symptoms ranging from hypertension to diminished blood circulation and psychosomatic pains.

Perhaps less understood is the psychological effect of foreign warplanes dominating the skies above a civilian population. They often fly at low altitudes that cause alarm and panic.

"While in Lebanon, each one of these acts is felt as a briefly passing moment and no two residents may hear jets in the same way or at the same time," said Abu Hamdan. "What I aim to present is an accumulated event, one extended crime that has taken place over the past 15 years.

"But really this should be seen as an atmosphere of violence. It takes its toll over time, and that’s why it has the potential to be ignored, but it shouldn’t be ignored any longer. Why should a population live under mass indiscriminate surveillance and live under a hostile sky ... to the extent that it’s embodied into everyday life," Abu Hamdan added.

The numbers have been compiled from 243 letters addressed by Lebanon to the U.N. Security Council, which were often informed by data supplied by the U.N. interim force in Lebanon, a peacekeeping mission, and by the Lebanese Army.

Israel has long maintained that its intrusions over Lebanon are necessary to gain intelligence of Hizbullah
...Party of God, a Leb militia inspired, founded, funded and directed by Iran. Hizbullah refers to itself as The Resistance and purports to defend Leb against Israel, with whom it has started and lost one disastrous war to date, though it did claim victory...
and its weapons. It has also used Lebanese skies to bomb targets in Syria linked to Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites....
and Hizbullah.
More from the Times of Israel:
According to the research, conducted by AirPressure.info and reported in the Guardian, the majority of the incursions into Lebanese airspace have been documented over the last eight and a half years, each lasting an average of four hours and 35 minutes.

Most were allegedly conducted by advanced fighter planes or surveillance aircraft “that basic Lebanese ground defenses offer no match for,” the Guardian adds, citing the study.

The study examines the routes taken by Israeli aircraft and reveals that most of the flights were concentrated in the south of the country, where they appear to follow regular routes. Beirut and other areas north of the capital, close to the Syrian border, also saw Israeli aircraft fly over them.

Mexico's Bigoted Summit of the Americas Boycott Fizzles as Other Leftist Leaders Choose to Attend
[Breitbart] A feared mass leftist boycott of the Summit of the Americas — which began on Monday in Los Angeles — never materialized as the socialist leaders of Argentina, Chile, and Peru all left Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador on his own to boycott in defense of the region’s dictatorships.

The summit brings together the countries in the Organization of American States (OAS), whose charter demands that members uphold democratic values. The OAS Inter-American Democratic Charter bars dictatorships from participating in organization meetings, including the Summit of the Americas. Despite this, Cuba – a 63-year-old communist dictatorship – began attending the Summit of the Americas with President Barack Obama’s blessing in 2015. Cuban agents engaged in mob violence against pro-democracy dissidents at both Summits of the Americas that the Castro regime has been invited to.

The administration of President Joe Biden explicitly uninvited the socialist and communist dictatorships of Nicaragua and Venezuela to this year’s summit. Biden failed to take a definitive stance on Cuba, instead simply not sending a formal invite to the regime. The White House did invite pro-democracy dissidents to the summit, but the Castro regime banned them from leaving the island.

Multiple leftist leaders expressed displeasure with the lack of invite to Cuba and threatened to boycott, including Presidents Alberto Fernández of Argentina, Gabriel Boric of Chile, and Luis Arce of Bolivia. The rumors of potential boycotts led to speculation that other leftist leaders — such as President Pedro Castillo of Peru and Xiomara Castro of Honduras — would join in. Bizarrely, conservative Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro also threatened to boycott the summit for unclear reasons not related to defending the dictatorships, which he consistently condemns on the international stage.

Ultimately, only Arce and López Obrador in Latin America boycotted the event to support the violent Marxist dictatorships of the hemisphere. Over 20 world leaders, including those of Caribbean states, will be attending. Two other Latin American presidents are not attending: Alejandro Giammatei of Guatemala and Luis Lacalle Pou of Uruguay. Giammatei’s office claimed his absence was strictly the product of a scheduling conflict – not a boycott – while Lacalle Pou, a conservative, tested positive for Chinese coronavirus shortly before his scheduled departure.

Fernández, Boric, and Castillo are all reportedly en route to the conference – Boric arrived on Monday morning after visiting Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada, expected to attend the summit, as well. Xiomara Castro is not attending the event but sending representation and categorically denying that her absence is a political boycott.

“Honduras will be present at the Ninth Summit of the Americas,” the Honduran Foreign Relations Ministry emphasized on Twitter.

Bolsonaro also confirmed his attendance while hinting that Biden is senile in remarks last week.

Others present will include Colombian President Iván Duque, Ecuadorian President Guillermo Lasso, and Paraguayan President Mario Abdo Benítez, Costa Rican President Rodrigo Chaves Robles – all right-wing or center-right leaders – and President Luis Abinader of the Dominican Republic and Panamanian President Laurentino Cortizo, both center-leftists.

President Nayib Bukele of El Salvador — a former leftist ousted from the country’s top left-wing party after multiple public disagreements with leadership — has ignored the event entirely.

López Obrador, an admirer of Fidel Castro, delivered the most vocal condemnation of ostracizing dictatorships in a press conference on Monday dedicated largely to expressing disgust with Cuban-Americans as an ethnic group. The president announced that he would not attend the Los Angeles summit because Cuban-Americans — who he blamed in their entirety for his absence — were “acting with hate” and dominating American politics at the expense of the repressive Castro regime.

“I have a very good relationship with President Biden, he is a good man,” López Obrador said. “In this case, I feel that there are a lot of pressures on the part of the Republicans and, above all, from some leaders of the Republican Party and also in the Democrat Party that have to do with the Cuban community in Florida and in the United States, who have a lot of influence.”

#1  In the article linked below is a Twittter video of the pre-opening moments. It is stunning to see Jojo literally standing pathetically while conversations swirl all around him, even turning to try and horn into a side conversation and getting ignored. These are second and third tier leaders, many of whose countries get huge amounts of US aid, and its like Jojo is the creepy uncle everyone hates. Its a level of disrespect that I never expected to see.

-Great Cultural Revolution
Report: Talk Radio Employees Revolt over George Soros-Backed Leftists Buying Spanish Stations
[Breitbart] Reports published on Tuesday indicate that an agreed-to sale of Radio Mambí, a Spanish-language talk radio station in Miami, to a George Soros-backed leftist group has prompted a potential mass exodus of its employees.

TelevisaUnivisión, which owns Radio Mambí, is reportedly facing so much employee disgust from the sale that the conglomerate is offering key Radio Mambí personalities $120,000 bonuses (half paid once the Federal Communications Commission approves the sale, half once the leftist group takes over) to stay at the network.

The buyer is a newly formed corporation called the “Latino Media Network” connected to several far-left radicals, including Soros himself. The network’s leaders have said that it aims to reach major markets nationwide – Los Angeles, New York, Houston, Chicago, Dallas, San Antonio, McAllen, Fresno, Las Vegas, and Miami – to combat Spanish-language “misinformation and disinformation.”

In addition to the Soros ties, the network is run by Stephanie Valencia, a former Obama outreach director, and Jess Morales Rocketto, a left-wing pro-immigration activist.

The investment group Lakestar Finance, directly affiliated with Soros Fund Management, reportedly funded the group and its attempt to purchase 18 Spanish-language radio stations, including Mambí. The sale of Radio Mambí has particularly outraged the Cuban exile community because of its historic status as a broadcaster sharing news of human rights violations by the Castro regime and voices opposing communism.

The Media Research Center’s Jorge Bonilla first reported, citing unnamed sources, that Univision was offering Radio Mambí talent “$120K retention bonuses contingent upon staying through completion of the transfer to Soros-financed group.”

The conservative site El American later reported that “some hosts” of the station would be uncomfortable continuing to work there under the banner of an entity so closely aligned with Soros and the Democrat Party and would not do so “even if they are offered $120,000 to stay.”

Government Corruption
FBI Arrests Republican Running for Michigan Governor
See opinion piece on the subject here.
[PJMedia] Ryan Kelley, one of the few remaining Republican gubernatorial candidates for Michigan, was arrested by the FBI for participating in the January 6 protest.
Get rid of the FBI. It's the enforcement wing of the Democrat party.

The FBI received several tips regarding Kelley participating in the January 6 "Stop the Steal" rally.

Kelley was arrested Thursday and taken into FBI custody.

The FBI searched Kelley’s home but found no evidence that he entered the Capitol.

Kelly is accused of waving the crowd closer to the Capitol. He is being charged with disorderly conduct, committing depredation against federal government property, knowingly entering a restricted area unlawfully, and engaging in physical violence in a restricted area.

The timing of the arrest is suspicious. Five other Republican candidates were recently disqualified from running when some of their signatures proved fraudulent, including front-runner James Craig, considered to be a serious threat to the current commie governor, Gretchen Whitmer.

Ryan Kelley is one of five Republican candidates still in the running.
