#3 For once I hope the Democrats can actually succeed at ripping out some of the rotten superstructure at the CIA. And hopefully several of the other hopelessly arrogant intelligence agencies as well.

They desperately need reform, and to have some limits and controls placed over them. For decades now they have been running almost without supervision, which most of all prevents them from doing their job.

#4 Now that those dicks in the CIA have thoroughly scre4d Bush, they are beginngin to bite back on the Democrats.

The CIA is rotten with political hacks and empire builders.

Demolish it. Parcel out the analysis and operations to the appropriate branches of the DIA, NSA, NRO, NGA, FBI, (and even State Dept and Commerce of Commerce on some places). Then build a new HUMINT gathering organization from the ground up, and a create a "clandestine direct action" agency as a separate agency under joint military and civilian control at the highest levels.

I've been calling for this for years. The CIA is fundamentally broken and nothing short of complete deconstruction will fix it.

#5 On the flip side, I am having a laugh over the Libs/Dems squealing about the truth being revealed to the point where they might be held accountable for their lies about CIA activities.

Schadenfreude.

Too bad the CIA isn't screwing them as hard as it went after Bush.

BTW, I don't know if anyone really remembers, but _I predicted this_, although not this particular situation.

I didn't think the bureaucracy was going to go back to being obedient little clerks of a new figurehead after eviscerating the old one.

#7 How much of an IQ does it take to understand the (1) CIA keeps up with where the bodies are buried, (that's their business and what you pay them to do);
(2) the weasels in Congress have buried a lot of bodies;
(3) the CIA will push back. (What else was Pelosi told by the CIA and to which she agreed?)

#12 Grom you missed it: this is about destroying the congressional leadership that got us The Zero. The "permanent" reps like Pelosi will get pushed out of the way and be a lot less powerful.

Obama will not be able to appoint congressmen - and in this environment, if the GOP manages to grow a brain, it can take back a lot of seats.

Anything that smacks the current Dems in power as liars and theives that they are, is good.
