Ex-official, girlfriend accused of abusing unconscious woman
DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (AP) ‐ A former Pennsylvania township official and his girlfriend spiked a woman’s drink and used a hidden camera to take sexually explicit photographs of her while she was unconscious, according to police and prosecutors.
Looks like Ay Pee wants to play "Name The Party" for some reason.
Lawrence Weinstein and Kelly Drucker are charged with false imprisonment, invasion of privacy, recklessly endangering another person, criminal conspiracy and violations of the Pennsylvania Wiretap Act. They surrendered to Bucks County detectives Tuesday.

Weinstein, 44, is a lawyer who resigned from his position as a Northampton Township Supervisor last month, citing "personal reasons."

The plot came to light after 45-year-old Drucker’s ex-husband noticed his teenage daughter had been given her mom’s old phone, The Philadelphia Inquirer report ed. On it, he discovered text messages between Drucker and her boyfriend Weinstein detailing the plan hatched last October and alerted authorities.

In the texts, the couple talked about setting up a camera in a bathroom at Drucker’s home, as well as a hidden camera mounted in a pair of glasses.

Through the texts, shown in the affidavit, the two formulated a plan to bring the victim, who worked for Northampton Township, back to Drucker’s house after under the pretense of celebrating what a good job she was doing at work.

Over the course of several hours, authorities said, Weinstein coached Drucker in their "mission," as he described it in the texts, urging her to serve the victim drinks of "1/2 everclear and 1/2 wine" and to encourage her to spend the night at the home. Everclear is a grain alcohol that is 95 percent alcohol by volume. Ordinary vodka is around 40 percent alcohol by volume.

When the victim went to use bathroom, Drucker texted Weinstein that she "got pics," the Inquirer reported.

Later in the evening, the victim fell ill and passed out in the bathroom, prompting a string of texts from Weinstein, referencing the "spy glasses" he had given Drucker and urging her to get nude photos of the woman. "I will reward you," he texted, according to the affidavit.

The victim told police she remembered saying her wine "didn’t taste right" on the night of Nov. 10, 2017, and was sick the following morning. She said she didn’t remember anything that happened in between, according to investigators.

Officials said they recovered photos of the victim taken while she was in Drucker’s bathroom.

Detectives later searched Weinstein’s home and said they found photos on Weinstein’s iPad showing him assaulting another unconscious woman in 2012. He’s facing additional charges in that case.

Weinstein and Drucker were released from custody late Tuesday after posting bail, according to court records. They face preliminary hearings on Oct. 18.

No attorney information is available for them. A message seeking comment from Weinstein on a phone listed to him wasn’t returned Wednesday.

Israel Orders Immediate Halt to Gaza Fuel Deliveries
[An Nahar] Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman on Friday ordered an "immediate" halt to deliveries of fuel to the Gaza Strip after violent clashes with Palestinians on the Gaza-Israel border.

"Following the serious incidents in the Gaza Strip, the defense ministry orders the immediate halt to the delivery of fuel" to the area, he said in a statement, only days after a U.N.-brokered deal to supply the territory with Qatari-bought fuel came into effect.

Hillary Clinton Gives up Security Clearance After Private Server Scandal
Only NOW?? "At her request"? It should've been publicly yanked in 2016
[Breitbart] Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has relinquished her security clearance over her handling of sensitive information stored on a private email server, according to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Cheryl Mills, a former top Clinton aide, along with four additional individuals, no longer have clearance, committee chairman Chuck Grassley said Friday afternoon. The Washington Times reports Clinton’s access to secret information "expired at the end of August," while the four other "research assistants," the names of which were redacted in a letter from the State Department, had their clearances terminated September 20.

The FBI began investigating the handling of classified material on Clinton’s private email server shortly after she announced her bid in April 2015. The issue had dogged Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, greatly contributing to the questions a majority of Americans have about her honesty and trustworthiness.

Still, Clinton had appeared to be heading for a sweeping victory over rival Donald Trump before Comey’s first letter to lawmakers, in which he stressed the FBI could not yet assess "whether or not this material may be significant," or how long it might take to run down the new investigative leads.

The review involved material found on a computer belonging to Anthony Weiner, the disgraced former Democrat congressman and estranged husband of Clinton aide Huma Abedin. While Comey was vague in his initial description of the inquiry, he said Sunday that the FBI reviewed communications "to or from Hillary Clinton while she was secretary of state."

Based on such review, Comey told lawmakers the FBI was not changing the conclusion it reached this summer. Then, Comey said, "no reasonable prosecutor" would recommend Clinton face criminal charges for using a private email system while at the State Department.

In June of this year, Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz issued a stinging rebuke to the FBI for its handling of the Clinton email investigation. The watchdog official’s report labeled Comey "insubordinate" and said his actions during the probe were "extraordinary." However, the report did not find evidence that Comey was motivated by political bias or preference in his decisions to absolve Clinton.

Further, the report criticized Comey for publicly announcing his recommendation against criminal charges for Clinton. It also faults him for alerting Congress days before the 2016 election that the investigation was being reopened because of newly discovered emails.

Representatives for Clinton did not immediately respond to request for comment.

Donald Trump Celebrates Release of Pastor Andrew Brunson
[BREITBART] President Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
announced that Ottoman Turkish officials freed Pastor Andrew Brunson on Friday, another diplomatic win for the administration.

"PASTOR BRUNSON JUST RELEASED," Trump wrote on Twitter. "WILL BE HOME SOON!"

The president also offered "thoughts and prayers" for the pastor as he prepares to return home after two years in a Ottoman Turkish prison.

Trump took a special interest in Brunson’s case after Ottoman Turkish officials imprisoned him for what the president described as "phony charges" of spying.

"Pastor Andrew Brunson, a fine gentleman and Christian leader in the United States, is on trial and being persecuted in The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire....
for no reason," Trump wrote in April. "They call him a Spy, but I am more a Spy than he is."

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Israel Captures Palestinian Knife Attack Suspect
[An Nahar] Israeli forces detained a Paleostinian suspected of stabbing and wounding a soldier but a manhunt continued for a second Paleostinian who rubbed out two Israeli civilians, the army said Friday.

The army front man's office released video it said had been taken late on Thursday showing a cuffed and blindfolded man being led by soldiers in what appears to be a military facility.

"A short while ago, the terrorist who committed the terror attack... this afternoon was caught," regional commander Colonel Sagiv Dahan said in the Hebrew-language clip.

An army front man told AFP that details of the suspect and his arrest were being withheld for the time being as his interrogation was still in progress.

He is suspected of stabbing and wounding an army reservist on guard at a junction near the northern West Bank city of Nablus on Thursday afternoon.

A civilian was moderately maimed from shrapnel when soldiers fired in the direction of the fleeing assailant, the army said.

The runaway who remains on the run is suspected of killing two Israelis and wounding a third in a shooting on Sunday in the Israeli-owned industrial zone where they all worked near the northern West Bank Jewish settlement of Barkan.

"Activity continues to catch the terrorist who carried out the shooting attack at Barkan," an army statement said in Hebrew.

The army has named the wanted man as Ashraf Naalwa, 23, from the northern West Bank village of Shuweika.

The two attack sites and Shuweika village all lie within a 32 kilometre (20 mile) radius but so far there has been no indication of any connection.

US attempting to establish illegal entity east of Euphrates: Russian FM
[ALMASDARNEWS] The U.S. is attempting to establish an illegal entity east of the Euphrates River, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Friday.

The Russian Foreign Minister said that the U.S. attempting to create a group to fight the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and their allies, including the Iranian-backed forces.

Lavrov did not specify what this entity is going to be comprised of, nor did he mention the basis of this information.

However,
if you can't say something nice about a person some juicy gossip will go well...
Lavrov’s comments come just days after his U.S. counterpart Mike Pompeo said that the Washington has two main goals in Syria: 1) defeat the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS) and 2) force the withdrawal of the Iranian forces and their allies.

The U.S. and Iranian forces have rarely come across one another in Syria, but Washington is concerned about Tehran’s continued presence inside the country, as it threatens Israel’s safety.

Indian troops kill key Kashmiri fighter in Handwara siege
[DAWN] A Kashmiri scholar-turned fighter and his colleague were killed on Thursday in a gunbattle with Indian troops, police and residents said, sparking violent anti-India protests by residents in the disputed region.

The incident could spark more unrest in a region that in recent years has witnessed renewed attacks and public resistance against Indian rule.

Indian troops laid siege to a village in northwestern Handwara area on a tip that armed Kashmiris were hiding there, police said. As counterinsurgency police and soldiers launched a search operation, a shootout erupted in which two Kashmiris were killed.

Authorities shut down internet service on mobile phones and ordered the closure of schools in several places in the region fearing student protests.

Anti-India protests and festivities erupted as the fighting raged, with hundreds of residents trying to march to the site in solidarity with the Kashmiris. Government forces fired warning shots, shotgun pellets and tear gas at the stone-throwing protesters, injuring at least four people.

The gunbattle ended later on Thursday morning and soldiers immediately recovered the bodies of the two Kashmiris, but authorities withheld their identities for several hours, a common practice to give police and soldiers time to deploy at key positions to counter possible anti-India protests and festivities.

Muneer Khan, a police brass hat, said one of the slain was identified by his parents as top krazed killer leader Manan Wani, the newspaper Greater Kashmire reported.

No withdrawal for jihadists in northern Latakia as they fortify front-lines
[ALMASDARNEWS] It doesn’t look like the jihadist rebels in northern Latakia are planning on adhering to the new buffer zone agreement, as they were spotted raising new trenches near the Syrian Arab Army’s front-lines.

Based on new footage obtained by the Sputnik News Agency, the jihadist rebels of the Turkestan Islamic Party (TIP) raised new trenches around the key town of Kabbani, which is supposed to be a part of the new buffer zone agreement that was established in Sochi on September 17th.

This move by the Turkestan Islamic Party indicates that they have no intent on withdrawing from the area, despite repeated threats from both the Ottoman Turkish and Russian forces.

Democrats agree to confirmations of 15 Trump judges
[POLITICO] Senate Democrats accepted an offer Thursday from Senate Republicans to confirm 15 lifetime federal judges in exchange for the ability to go into recess through the midterms, allowing endangered Democrats to campaign.

The calculation by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer
Senator-for-life from New York, renowned for his love of standing in front of cameras. Schumer has been a professional politician since 1975, when disco was in flower. Senate minority leader as of 2017.
and his caucus was simple: That Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) would be able to confirm roughly 15 judges if he kept the Senate in session for the next few weeks anyway. So Democrats OK’d an offer to confirm three Circuit Court judges and 12 Circuit Court judges as the price to pay to go home for election season.

Under Senate rules, even if Democrats fought the nominees tooth and nail and forced the Senate to burn 30 hours of debate between each one, McConnell would have gotten them all confirmed by Nov. 1. Democrats could have conceivably left a skeleton crew of senators in Washington to force the GOP to take roll call votes on the judges over the next few weeks, although that tactic is not typically employed by the minority.

Some liberal activists are urging Democrats to show more fight after Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court; Markos Moulitsas of Daily Kos even said that Democrats "need a new Senate leader" after the agreement was struck. But senators had to weigh that dynamic along with the approaching midterms and the brutal Senate map. And with a half-dozen Democrats facing serious challenges in Senate races, it made more sense to make what Democrats said was a reasonable deal with McConnell so that they could make a serious run at saving endangered senators.

Thirty-two Syrians rescued at sea off Lebanon, attempting to reach Cyprus
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The Lebanese navy and a UN force have rescued 32 Syrian refugees whose boat broke down as they attempted to reach Cyprus, the navy said Friday.

The United Nations
...the Oyster Bay money pit...
peacekeeping force in Leb, UNIFIL, said it found the craft on Thursday morning after receiving reports of a missing boat.

The "small white boat", carrying 19 men, six women and seven children, was stranded at sea northwest of Beirut, it said.

"The boat was out of fuel and the passengers had been without food and water for four days," it said in a statement.

It said Lebanese navy vessels arrived and transported the passengers to Beirut on Thursday night.

The Lebanese military said 32 Syrians and a Lebanese citizen were aboard the craft, and were attempting to reach the eastern Mediterranean island "illegally".

The United Nations’ refugee agency (UNHCR) has registered nearly one million Syrian refugees in Leb.

Humanitarian representatives and government officials say the number is likely much higher, since many Syrians who have fled to Leb are not officially registered with the United Nations.

In September, EU member Cyprus announced it was looking to broker a repatriation agreement with Beirut because of an increased influx of migrants colonists from Leb.

Cyprus Interior Minister Constantinos Petrides said his country faces one of the largest migratory flows per capita, with 4,022 asylum requests in the first eight months of 2018 -- 55 percent more than in the same period last year.

Cameroon: Election Body Reviewing Petitions to Cancel Presidential Poll
[All Africa] Cameroon
...a long, narrow country that fills the space between Nigeria and Chad on the northeast, CAR to the southeast. Prior to incursions by Boko Haram nothing ever happened there...
's elections management body says it has received 25 petitions from candidates and voters calling for the Oct. 7 presidential election to be annulled.

Candidates Cabral Libii of the opposition Universe party and Joshua Osih of the opposition Social Democratic Front are among those who want the polls annulled. They allege massive fraud and ballot stuffing in favor of President Paul Biya's ruling Cameroon People's Democratic Movement (CPDM) party.

Cleric Rigobert Gabanmidanha of the Live and Peace Ministry also petitioned for the cancellation of the polls. He claims the constitutional council that certifies election results is controlled by Biya and that many opposition supporters like himself were not allowed to vote.

Gabanmidanha says he went to his polling station with his voter card but was told that his name was not on the list of registered voters. He also says he had applied to be a candidate in the election but was rejected for not presenting all the required documents.

Thirteen of the petitions to annul the election were from another would-be presidential candidate, Bertin Kisob, who is on pre-trial detention for supporting Anglophone separatists.

Kisob, who was also rejected as a candidate, says members of his Cameroon Party for Social Justice reported irregularities and fraud that favored Biya.

Cameroon's minister of Labor and Social Security, Gregoire Owona, has described the complaints as a distraction.

He says there should be no confusion on the role played by independent state institutions in the electoral process and by their candidate Biya, who is still president. Owona reiterates that all state institutions are independent and act as such.

Cameroon's election body, ELECAM, has denied any vote-rigging.

The head of ELECAM's legal unit, Mbufong Marcel Kumfa, says opposition parties have no evidence on which to base their claims as they failed to send representatives to many polling stations.

Zimbabwe: Health Minister a Medical Impostor
[All Africa] HEALTH Minister Obadiah Moyo is neither a qualified medical doctor nor a fellow of various international elite societies as stated on his curriculum vitae posted by Chitungwiza Central Hospital (CCH), where he served as chief executive before being appointed into Cabinet, investigations by the Zim-bob-we Independent have revealed.

The investigations showed that Moyo is an academic and medical impostor, who is not a registered practitioner with the Medical Dental Practitioners Council of Zim-bob-we (MDPCZ).

It also emerged this week that President Emmerson Mnangagwa ignored his advisers who disapproved the appointment of Moyo as Health minister due to his questionable medical qualifications.

Mnangagwa had asked for due diligence checks to establish Moyo's suitability for the appointment, among other potential cabinet appointees.

On his CV posted on the CCH website, Moyo claims to be a "visionary leader with a proven track-record in the fields of medicine and executive management".

He says he attained a Doctor of Medicine Degree (MD) in the West Indies, a region of the North Atlantic Ocean in the Caribbean, without specifying the country, university and year of study as is the norm.

Moyo did not respond to questions from the Independent, but investigations established there is no such qualification as MD throughout the Anglophone Caribbean region. Medical experts said in most Anglo-Saxon countries, practising medical doctors attain a Bachelor of Medicine and Dental Surgeries degree (MBChB) from a recognised university, as is also the case locally.

Elsewhere, the general qualification is known as MBBS, an abbreviation for Medicinae Baccalaureus, Baccalaureus Chirurgiae, or Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in English.

Contrary to claims on the CV that he was a medical practitioner with a proven track-record, Moyo never practiced as a medical doctor in Zim-bob-we.

The Health Professions Act requires practitioners to register with MDPCZ. Moyo's name does not appear on the list of the 3 624 registered medical practitioners in the country.

MDPCZ officials, who confirmed the list to the Zim-bob-we Independent, explained the stringent registration process.

"You need to be trained for seven years at the University of Zim-bob-we (UZ) and thereafter work as an intern for two years. You will then be deployed as a government district medical officer for at least a year before you are eligible to get into private practice. All this while, you will be working under strict supervision and you can only proceed on strong recommendations," an official said.

Russia blames western states for terrorists obtaining chemical weapons
[ALMASDARNEWS] The Russian Reconciliation Center issued a statement on Wednesday blaming western states for terrorist groups obtaining chemical weapons in Syria.

According to the Chief of the Russian Reconciliation Center, Lt. Gen. Vladimir Savchenko, Western states are planning to use groups affiliated with them to stage a chemical attack and accuse the Syrian governmental forces committing it.

The Russian official said that these acts are irresponsible and they allowed ISIS (ISIS) to obtain toxic substances.

Savchenko’s statements came after reports of Islamic State

Shalala lags behind in seat Democrats hoped to win easily
[POLITICO] Former Clinton Foundation head Donna Shalala is trailing former Spanish-language TV newswoman Maria Elvira Salazar, according to a new poll of a crucial, GOP-held Florida congressional district that Democrats had once counted on as an easy pickup.

Salazar’s narrow 2-percentage point lead is well within the Mason-Dixon Polling & Research survey’s 4-point margin of error. But the result stands in contrast to how the Democratic nominees for Senate and governor are faring in the Miami-based 27th Congressional District ‐ both are ahead of their Republican opponents by 4 points ‐ providing fresh evidence of Shalala’s underperforming campaign.

The big factor: Hispanics, who account for 57 percent of the voters and who came to know Salazar relatively well over her three decades broadcasting on Spanish language networks Telemundo, Univision, Mega-TV and CNN Español.

[ALMASDARNEWS] The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) uncovered a mass grave in rural Hama this evening while combing through areas that were previously occupied by the Islamic State

According to a military source in Hama, the Syrian Arab Army uncovered a mass grave containing tens of corpses.

The source said the grave contained the bodies of women and kiddies who were executed by the Islamic State (ISIS) during their 2015 offensive in the Salamiyah countryside.

He added that the grave was filled with beheaded bodies near the Aqareb Dam, which was a stronghold for ISIS during the Syrian Arab Army’s offensive against them in 2017.

Woman fishing with kids snatched and killed by crocodile
[NYPOST] A woman has been killed by a crocodile while out fishing with her family in the Northern Territory in Australia.

It took police three hours to get to the lake where the group of seven women and kiddies were in east Arnem on Friday.

Police Commander Tony Fuller said the woman was fishing and collecting mussels in the lake with some family members around 10:30 a.m. when they noticed the woman was missing.

Police found her body around 5 p.m. less than half a mile from the lake.

The crocodile was destroyed by local rangers and the woman’s body was recovered.

"The family noticed she was missing and the bucket she was carrying was found nearby," he said.

"They heard some splashing. She was up to waist deep in water."

Initial reports suggested the woman was a ranger, but police are still trying to confirm that and if she was working at the time.

NASA Says Will Use Russia's Soyuz despite Rocket Failure
[An Nahar] NASA chief Jim Bridenstine on Friday praised the Russian space program and said he expected a new crew to go to the International Space Station in December despite a rocket failure.

"I fully anticipate that we will fly again on a Soyuz rocket and I have no reason to believe at this point that it will not be on schedule," he told news hounds.

The NASA administrator spoke to news hounds at the U.S. embassy in Moscow a day after a Soyuz rocket failure forced Russian cosmonaut Aleksey Ovchinin and U.S. astronaut Nick Hague to make an emergency landing shortly after takeoff in Kazakhstan. The pair escaped unharmed.

It was the first such incident in Russia's post-Soviet history -- an unprecedented setback for the country's space industry.

The Soviet-designed Soyuz rocket is currently the world's only lifeline to the International Space Station and the accident will affect both NASA and the work of the orbiting laboratory.

Bridenstine, who is visiting Russia and Kazakhstan for the first time since his appointment as NASA chief this year, observed the launch from Baikonur cosmodrome with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Rogozin.

Appearing at times emotional, he said he was "confident" a new manned mission to the ISS would go ahead as planned in December, praising the "wonderful relationship" between the Russian and U.S. space agencies.

It added that the 20-year-old suspect, who was tossed in the clink

"The arrested man admitted to the court that he had a verbal argument with the victim on October 6, 2018," it said.

"He was under the strong influence of alcohol and drugs and punched the woman in the face, at which point she fell down. He then picked her up and threw her in a bush but said he then left the scene."

Under an expedited procedure requested by prosecutors and agreed to by the accused, he must be extradited within 10 days of the court's ruling, made on Thursday.

Bulldozers Scoop Slow Way to Recovery in Syria's Yarmuk
[An Nahar] Not far from where he used to live, Paleostinian engineer Mahmud Khaled watched as bulldozers rumbled back and forth scooping up smashed concrete from the devastated streets of Syria's Yarmuk.

Once home to 160,000 Paleostinian refugees, the camp in the Damascus suburbs has been emptied of its inhabitants and pounded to rubble in Syria's seven-year war.

But five months after regime forces expelled the last jihadists in the area, soldiers now stand guard at the camp's entrance, wearing face masks to protect themselves against the dust billowing up into the air.

On a narrow street inside the camp where he grew up, Khaled has returned to help oversee bulldozers and diggers engaged in joint Paleostinian-Syrian clean-up operations.

"When we first entered, we were horrified by what we saw," said the 56-year-old engineer, wearing a light grey and white checkered shirt.

"But after we started the clean-up, it all started to look up," Khaled said.

Off Yarmuk's main artery, recently cleared side streets are flanked by buildings ravaged by years of fighting.

Some have been reduced to mountains of grey rubble and mangled rebar. In others, entire floors dangle dangerously downwards, their steel rods jutting out.

"We have shifted 50,000 cubic metres of rubble and reopened all the main roads," Khaled said.

But "it will be a while before families can come back", he added.

As Khaled surveyed the neighbourhood, a yellow bulldozer spilled rubble into a large red truck behind him.

Tens of thousands have fled Yarmuk since Syria's conflict started in 2011 and government forces imposed a crippling siege on the then rebel-held camp a year later.

Six Palestinians Killed in Clashes on Israel Border
[An Nahar] Six Paleostinians were killed in new festivities along the Gazoo-Israel border on Friday, the health ministry in the Hamas, a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",-run enclave said.

The Israeli army said five were rubbed out after breaking through the border fence and attacking an army post.

A front man for the Paleostinian health ministry said six Paleostinian men were killed as thousands of protesters approached the heavily-guarded Israeli border.

Four died along the frontier east of al-Bureij in central Gazoo, one east of Gazoo City and one near Rafah in southern Gazoo, the front man said, adding that all the victims were men aged between 17 and 29.

Israeli army front man Jonathan Conricus said on Twitter an "organized attack" had involved around 20 Paleostinians crossing the border after an bomb destroyed a portion of the fence.

Five then tried to attack an army base and were shot, he said.

The army said approximately 14,000 "rioters and demonstrators" took part in Friday's protests.

Defying China, Malaysia releases Uighur detainees
[DAWN] Malaysia has freed from detention 11 ethnic Uighur Moslems who fled to the southeast Asian nation after a Thai jailbreak last year, and sent them to The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire....
, their lawyer said on Thursday, in disregard of China’s request to hand them to Beijing.

The move is likely to strain ties with China, already tested since Mahathir Mohamad became prime minister after a stunning election victory in May and cancelled more than $20 billion worth of projects awarded to Chinese companies.

Prosecutors in Moslem-majority Malaysia dropped charges against the Uighurs on humanitarian grounds and they arrived in Turkey after flying out of Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday, their lawyer, Fahmi Moin, said.

"The charges were withdrawn because the attorney general’s chambers agreed to the [appeal] from our side," he told Rooters.

The men were detained and charged with illegally entering Malaysia after last November’s daring prison break, by punching holes in a prison wall and using blankets as ladders.

In February, Rooters reported that Malaysia was under great pressure from China to deport the men there, citing sources. Some Western missions sought to dissuade it from sending them to China, which has been accused of persecuting Uighurs.

Beijing accuses separatist turbans among the Uighur minority of plotting attacks on China’s Han majority in Xinjiang and elsewhere.

Republican club on Upper East Side vandalized
[NYPOST] An Upper East Side Republican club was vandalized overnight ‐ with a brick thrown through its window, two anarchy symbols scrawled on its front door and the locks glued, authorities said Friday.

The attack at the Metropolitan Republican Club on East 83rd Street near Lexington Avenue appeared to be at least partly tied to the scheduled appearance of right-wing provocateur Gavin McInnes at the club Friday night.

McInnes, a co-founder of Vice Media, heads a right-wing group called the Proud Boys, which has been characterized as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

A note found at the club after the vandalism attack read in part, "The Metropolitan Republican Club chose to invite a hipster-fascist
...anybody not a leftist...
clown to dance for them, content to revel in their treachery against humanity."

But the note also ripped the party in general.

"Tonight, we put the Republican Party on notice, in defiance to the policy of mass misery they have championed," it read. "The US government has established concentration camps around the country for Latino people, shamelessly murders black people, and continues its war machine that has slaughtered Moslem people with impunity for decades."

At a presser in front of the club Friday afternoon, New York GOP leaders fumed about the vandalism.

"This is terrorism," said state Senate candidate Pete Holmberg. "The people in this district are civil. These people came from outside.

Three die as yet another quake hits Indonesia
[DAWN] An earthquake on Thursday killed three people in Indonesia and rattled hotels where IMF delegates are attending a major summit, a fortnight after a quake-tsunami killed more than 2,000 elsewhere in the archipelago.

The 6.0-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Indonesia’s Bali and Java islands in the early hours, injuring nearly 30 people and sending residents rushing into the streets.

Some attendees in Bali for the International Monetary Fund and World Bank annual meetings this week evacuated their hotels as the quake shook the island.

“I felt the quake for at least 30 seconds and I panicked. At first I didn’t want to go out but then I decided to leave,” Katharina Sudiyono, an Indonesian attendee at the summit, said.

Fear Grips Syria City Seized from Kurds by Turkish-Backed Rebels
[An Nahar] From kidnappings for ransom to armed robberies and torture: residents of Syria's Afrin region say they are suffering a litany of abuses at the hands of Ottoman Turkish-backed rebels.

They say the fear of harassment has kept them shuttered inside their homes since Ankara and its Arab rebel allies overran the then overwhelmingly Kurdish city in March after a two-month air and ground offensive.

Their testimonies, given under pseudonyms because of fear of retribution, paint a picture of a chaotic city with little protection for civilians.

Yemen’s army advances in Saada, launches coordinated attacks on Houthis
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The Yemeni army backed by the Arab coalition, continues advancing in several districts of the governorate of Saada, taking control of new posts which were under the control of the pro-Iranian Houthi
...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The Yemeni government has accused the Houthis of having ties to the Iranian government, which wouldn't suprise most of us. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews ...
militia, particularly in the districts of Zaher, Baqim and Kataf.

Military sources confirmed to Al Arabiya news channel that the Yemeni army launched a successful attack on a post controlled by the Houthis in the directorate of Zaher, killing more than nine members of the militia, while others managed to escape.

In Baqim district, the Yemeni army launched coordinated attacks, allowing its forces to advance to the center of the district, following support from coalition aircraft that destroyed reinforcements of the Houthis in the area.

The Yemeni national army continues its combing operations in Kataf district searching for mines planted by Houthis. The army dismantled in the last two days more than 300 mines.

Afghanistan
Taliban militants, civilians suffer heavy casualties in a premature car bomb explosion
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] At least nineteen, people including Talibs and ordinary civilians, were killed or maimed in a premature boom-mobile kaboom in northern Faryab province of Afghanistan.

The 209th Shaheen Corps of the Afghan Military in the North in a statement said the incident has taken place in the vicinity of Khwaja Namosi Bazar, leaving at least ten murderous Moslems and five civilians dead.

The statement further added that the Talibs were looking to detonate the boom-mobile in Maimana city to target security forces or the electoral campaigns.

However,
facts are stubborn; statistics are more pliable...
the 209th Shaheen Corps said the boom-mobile went prematurely as the murderous Moslems were transporting it to the city, leaving ten murderous Moslems dead and four others maimed.

According to the 209th Shaheen Corps, at least five civilians also bit the dust in the kaboom.

Satanic serial killers arrested for performing human sacrifices
[NYPOST] A horrifying scene was uncovered in Iguatu, Brazil, where authorities uncovered a site used for human sacrifices. A trio of Satanists allegedly lured several people to the property and then tortured and murdered them. Mutilated body parts were discovered, which apparently were used in rituals in order to gain power and influence over women.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
Yet another case of de Blasio’s City Hall for sale
[NYPOST] City Hall wants folks to believe that its deal for a 36-story luxury condo in Brooklyn Heights was strictly on the up and up. But emails newly obtained by The Post suggest it was every bit as seedy as other notorious deals on Mayor Bill de Blasio’s watch.

The emails ‐ unveiled thanks to the Freedom of Information laws ‐ show Hudson Cos. CEO David Kramer had at least two conversations with Deputy Mayor Alicia Glen before the city’s Economic Development Corp., which reports to her, and the Brooklyn Public Library, which owned the site, awarded the project to his company.

State law bars contacts between firms and officials during bidding competitions to prevent favoritism or even the appearance of it.

But that clearly didn’t happen here: Kramer and city officials admit he spoke to Glen in March and August of 2014, before the competition ended in September. And days after Hudson won the bid, Kramer thanked Glen, calling her "the expeditor."

"Ever since our call in August, it feels like momentum finally started happening." He was "happy" the process ended and "quite pleased with the outcome." (No doubt.)

Both Kramer and officials insist the early contacts were harmless reminders that bidders hoped to wrap things up. Glen "never took a side in who won," insists City Hall spokeswoman Jane Meyer.

But Kramer is a donor and longtime pal of Mayor de Blasio. And his $52 million offer to buy the Brooklyn library site wasn’t the highest bid. Hudson also got $10 million from a Goldman Sachs unit Glen once oversaw.

Worse, the deal fits a pattern of de Blasio donors getting favorable treatment: Who can forget City Hall’s OK for a nursing home to be turned into condos, reaping the developer a $72 million windfall? Or the favors for fat cats and unions that gave handsomely to the mayor’s campaign and his Campaign for One New York slush fund?

Zainab murder case: Imran Ali's death warrants issued for Oct 17
[DAWN] An Anti-terrorism Court (ATC) on Friday issued the death warrants for Imran Ali ‐ the man convicted for the rape and murder of Zainab Amin.

According to an order issued by ATC Judge Sheikh Sajjad Ahmed, Ali's death sentence will be carried out on October 17 at Lahore's Central Jail.

"Today's warrants were issued after President Arif Alvi rejected Ali's appeal for clemency in the Zainab case on October 10," said Prosecutor Abdul Rauf Watoo.

Ali, a resident of Kasur, was accused of being involved in at least nine incidents of rape-cum-murder of minors, including Zainab's which he had confessed to during her murder investigation.

Out of the seven rape and murder cases registered against Imran, the court has given its verdict in five.

The ATC on February 17 had given him four counts of the death penalty
, one life term, a 7-year jail term and Rs4.1 million in fines. The four death penalties were for kidnapping, raping and murdering Zainab, and for committing an act of terrorism punishable under Section 7 of the Anti Terrorism Act (ATA).

In total, Imran Ali has been sentenced to 21 counts of death, three life sentences and a cumulative 23 years in jail.

He has also been set a Rs2.5 million fine by the court, which is other than the Rs255,000 that he has been sentenced to pay as diyat. Only two cases against Ali remain pending.

Zainab's rape and murder earlier this year had sparked outrage and protests across the country after the six-year-old, who went missing on January 4, was found dead in a trash heap in Kasur on January 9.

Africa Subsaharan
Central African Republic - Rebels Executing Civilians
[All Africa] Seleka
...a 'mainly' Moslem rebel force in the Central African Republic that overthrew the govt, imposed a regime of rapine and looting on the country's non-Moslem population, and was then tossed by France. They still exist, getting funding and weapons from somewhere or other, licking their wounds, complaining about the oppression of Moslems, and occasionally raping and looting someone...
rebels in the Central African Republic captured and executed at least nine civilians, including seven women, on September 6, 2018, Human Rights Watch said today. The executions around the town of Bria in the Haute-Kotto province came almost two weeks after the same group killed 11 civilians after a clash with a rival militia.

"These executions and killings are brazen war crimes by fighters who feel free to kill at will, despite the presence of United Nations
...a formerly good idea gone bad...
peacekeepers," said Lewis Mudge, a senior Africa researcher at Human Rights Watch. "The peacekeepers are allowed to use force to protect civilians, and should seek to anticipate these attacks and to intervene early."

Rebels from the Popular Front for the Renaissance in the Central African Republic (Front Populaire pour la Renaissance de la Centrafrique, FPRC), captured and executed the nine civilians, who had been working or going to their fields outside a displaced people's camp. The same group killed at least 11 civilians fleeing the town's Borno neighborhood, three kilometers from the camp, on August 25 after fighting between the FPRC and anti-balaka militia. Human Rights Watch found evidence that the group killed at least four more civilians around Bria on September 16.

Human Rights Watch also found evidence that anti-balaka groups killed at least eight civilians in the area since June. Tensions have increased between the two groups since 2017, with unlawful killings by both. Both groups deny attacking civilians.

The FPRC, drawn from the predominately Moslem Seleka group that briefly took power in the country in 2013, control most of Bria. Though previously aligned with anti-balaka against another group, it has fought anti-balaka in the region since mid-2017. The anti-balaka emerged in 2013, largely from existing self-defense groups to resist Seleka abuses, and have committed serious abuses against civilians, particularly Moslems, across the country. They attack civilians in the forests and fields outside Bria, on the Irabanda road, but some fighters also stay in the "PK3" displacement camp in Bria.

Fighting since May 2017 has forced tens of thousands of civilians to flee their homes. More than 50,000 now live at the "PK3" camp. Camp leaders confirmed that anti-balaka base themselves at "PK3" for short periods.

Home Front: Culture Wars
Thanks for not raping us
I yelled at my husband last night. Not pick-up-your-socks yell. Not how-could-you-ignore-that-red-light yell. This was real yelling. This was 30 minutes of from-the-gut yelling. Triggered by a small, thoughtless, dismissive, annoyed, patronizing comment. Really small. A micro-wave that triggered a hurricane. I blew. Hard and fast. And it terrified me. I’m still terrified by what I felt and what I said. I am almost 70 years old. I am a grandmother. Yet in that roiling moment, screaming at my husband as if he represented every clueless male on the planet (and I every angry woman of 2018), I announced that I hate all men and wish all men were dead. If one of my grandchildren yelled something that ridiculous, I’d have to stifle a laugh.
Nice. I feel sorry for her husband.
My husband of 50 years did not have to stifle a laugh. He took it dead seriously. He did not defend his remark, he did not defend men. He sat, hunched and hurt, and he listened. For a moment, it occurred to me to be grateful that I’m married to a man who will listen to a woman. The winds calmed ever so slightly in that moment. And then the storm surge welled up in me as I realized the pathetic impotence of nice men’s plan to rebuild the wreckage by listening to women. As my rage rushed through the streets of my mind, toppling every memory of every good thing my husband has ever done (and there are scores of memories), I said the meanest thing I’ve ever said to him: Don’t you dare sit there and sympathetically promise to change. Don’t say you will stop yourself before you blurt out some impatient, annoyed, controlling remark. No, I said, you can’t change. You are unable to change. You don’t have the skills and you won’t do it. You, I said, are one of the good men. You respect women, you believe in women, you like women, you don’t hit women or rape women or in any way abuse women. You have applauded and funded feminism for a half-century. You are one of the good men. And you cannot change. You can listen all you want, but that will not create one iota of change.
Marriage. Why men build bars.
In the centuries of feminist movements that have washed up and away, good men have not once organized their own mass movement to change themselves and their sons or to attack the mean-spirited, teasing, punching thing that passes for male culture. Not once. Bastards. Don’t listen to me. Listen to each other. Talk to each other. Earn your power for once.
That is because men don't give a f*ck about that. Men have their own problems and a screaming, feminist harpy ain't one of them.
The gender war that has broken out in this country is flooding all our houses. It’s rising on the torrent of memories that every woman has. Those memories have come loose from the attic and the basement where we’ve stashed them. They are floating all around us and there is no place left to store them out of sight. Not just memories of sexual abuse. Memories of being dismissed, disdained, distrusted. Memories of having to endure put-downs at the office, catcalls in the parking lot, barked orders at a dinner party. And, for some reason, the most chilling memory of all, the one Christine Blasey Ford called up and that we all recognized: the laughter. The laughter of men who are bonding with each other by mocking us. When Ford testified under oath that the laughter is the sharpest memory of her high school assault, every woman within the sound of her voice could hear that laughter, had heard that laughter, somewhere, somehow.
Sounds like the writer needs to start drinking. Heavily.
No man right now understands the flood that is rushing through women’s brains, and only women in the deepest denial have evacuated their minds before the flood could reach them.

When good men like Sen. Christopher A. Coons (D-Del.) give heartfelt, sincere speeches about how we must listen to women, I don’t know whether to coo or laugh or cry or yell. Think about “listen to women” as a program for change. It says to women: You will continue to suffer these abuses, men will continue to do disgusting things to you, the storms will keep coming, the tide will continue to rise, but now, we will listen and help you rebuild.
Sen. Coons has the same level of "concern" that Slow Joe has, and this feminist writer bought into it.
Pay attention people: If we do not raise boys to walk humbly and care deeply, if we do not demand that men do more than just listen, we will all drown in the flood. And there is no patriarchal Noah to save us.

#8  Feminism is the death of the western industrialized world.Declining populations occurring now. Men refusing to marry or date. The peaceful single life for many men. I don't know the numbers but I am seeing this trend in my local community. The women I see have three kids on average with different men. Single fighting for child support or any help they can be given.Selling drugs or doing prostitution. Drunk night out now and then alone using Taxis to get about. Working two jobs stressed out. Wanting drama then hating drama. On one pill or another. Prone to take the speed route. Reflecting on this it seems the Muslim men have it right. They have the large families. They have the submissive wives. Well, so it seems as reported. Oops!, media can't report the truth anymore. Seeing the results is proof enough for me.

Female privilege. From the start of the old republic the franchise and militia responsibility were pretty tight in a Venn Diagram overlap. The 19th Amendment broke that. The franchise needs to be restricted to those with skin in the game. Doesn't mean they have to serve anymore than the general population of men, but all must enroll in 'unorganized militia' to attain the franchise. If anyone is called to active duty but fail to comply, stripped of the franchise.
