'They need to be sent back to their home country': Ron DeSantis tears into 'illegal alien' looters who should not be in the US 'at all' after they were arrested for ransacking homes devastated by Hurricane Ian
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • Florida's Republican Governor Ron DeSantis revealed how three of the looters were illegal immigrants 'who should not be in the US at all'
  • He's not wrong
  • 'These are people that are foreigners, they're illegally in our country, but not only that, they try to loot and ransack in the aftermath of a natural disaster,' he said

  • In a warning to looters, Ron DeSantis said that Floridians would not be scared to evoke their Second Amendment rights if they caught an opportunist in their midst

  • DeSantis has taken a similarly hard line when it comes to immigration

  • Last month he was instrumental in sending 48 Venezuelan migrants on flights from Texas to Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts.

  • The looters were arrested on September 29 - but documents reveal that they were released after posting a $35,000 bond each

  • The mounting death toll from Ian's wrath currently stands at 85, and 'ground zero' Fort Myers is currently one of Florida's most decimated neighborhoods

  • Rescue teams are desperately trying to find survivors amid the rubble

New Hampshire National Guard Military Police Units Deploy to Texas-Mexico Border
[Breitbart] New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu (R) attended the deployment ceremony for two National Guard Military Police units being sent to the Texas border with Mexico. The MPs will have no law enforcement authority and will conduct command and control services along with border surveillance.

“New Hampshire is grateful for the heroic men and women of our National Guard,” New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu (R) said in a written statement. “They answered the call to serve during the COVID pandemic, and are now answering our nation’s call — deploying to the ongoing humanitarian crisis along our southern border. As these brave men and women deploy, New Hampshire stands by our National Guard and we wish everyone a safe and speedy return home.”

The State is deploying two MP units to cover an area along the Texas border with Mexico that is approximately 250 miles long and ends at the Gulf of Mexico, the governor’s office stated.

The 941st Military Police Battalion HQ will deploy 44 soldiers to provide command and control of subordinate companies from New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Illinois, and Kentucky. Those units total about 500 soldiers, officials stated. It is the unit’s first deployment to the U.S. southern border.

In addition, approximately 120 members of the 237th Military Police Company will take up surveillance sites along the border. Their job will be to observe illegal activity along the border and report it to U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Border Patrol. The soldiers are “prohibited from being in contact with illegal migrants,” the statement reads.

“A previous NH National Guard unit deployed to the southwest border from October 2020 through November 2021, which helped result in 207,320 assisted apprehensions, $893 million in illegal drug seizures, and 20 migrant lives saved,” New Hampshire officials stated.

It appears the units are being deployed under federal National Guard orders and not as part of Texas’ Operation Lone Star. The deployment is expected to last 12 months.

Breitbart Texas reached out to the offices of Governors Chris Sununu and Greg Abbott for additional information about the National Guard deployment. An immediate response was not available.

U.S. Border Arrests of Migrants with Criminal Histories Up 350% Since 2020
[Breitbart] As the record-breaking Fiscal Year 2022 for migrant apprehensions along the southwest border ended last week, a subset of those with criminal convictions also rose significantly compared to prior years. Although the criminal arrests constitute a minority, their numbers have increased nearly 350 percent between 2020 and 2022.

According to Customs and Border Protection (CBP), arrests by Border Patrol agents of migrants colonists with prior criminal convictions rose from 2,438 in 2020 to 10,778 in 2022. The total for the year will be finalized and later this month.

A source within CBP, not authorized to speak to the media, told Breitbart Texas the count reflects migrants colonists who have prior criminal convictions in the United States. The source says access to foreign criminal databases are limited and time constraints during post-arrest preclude efforts to check violations of foreign laws.

In most cases, the source says access by the Border Patrol to databases in the more than 150 home countries of migrants colonists crossing the border is non-existent. The source says the increase in encounters of migrants colonists with some of the most violent mostly peaceful offenses in their background is staggering.

According to CBP, the number of migrants colonists who have criminal convictions for Homicide and Manslaughter rose from 3 encounters in 2020 to more than 60 in 2022. More than 120 migrants colonists with homicide or manslaughter convictions have been encountered since January 2021 — compared to 11 during the Trump era.

As recently as September 13, Border Patrol agents in Uvalde, Texas, one migrant had previously been convicted for a murder in Florida in 1996.

In the Border Patrol’s Tucson Sector, nine migrants colonists listed as registered sex offenders were arrested crossing in September. These arrests will add to 323 migrants colonists in 2022 with prior criminal histories involving sexual offenses. The nine migrants colonists arrested in Tucson Sector had convictions in Washington, Iowa, Missouri, Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party,, Connecticut, and Washington, D.C.

More than 800 migrants colonists with existing convictions for sexual offenses have been encountered by the Border Patrol since President Joe Biden
...... 46th president of the U.S., father of Hunter, close friend of an imaginary negro named Corn Pop. He blames Trump for losing Afghanistan.......
took office, compared to 431 from the Trump period.

According to CBP, migrants colonists arrested by the Border Patrol with criminal convictions for illegal weapons possession, transport, or trafficking rose from 49 in 2020 to 282 in 2022. Arrests of migrants colonists with convictions for illegal drug possession or trafficking rose from 386 in 2020 to 2,005 in 2022.

Those migrants colonists arrested with serious criminal convictions in their past can face hefty sentences under existing federal law for the crime of re-entry after formal removal. According to the Department of Justice, the statutory maximum penalty for re-entry is a fine, imprisonment for not more than 2 years, or both. However,
a good lie finds more believers than a bad truth...
a migrant whose removal was based on a criminal conviction of a crime considered an aggravated felony, such as homicide or rape, the maximum term of imprisonment is 20 years.

The rise in migrants colonists with criminal convictions is not surprising, considering the increase in overall migrant apprehensions. Migrant apprehensions by the Border Patrol have risen from 400,651 annually in 2019 to 2.2 million in 2022. One source within CBP who agreed to speak with Breitbart Texas says more than 600,000 migrants colonists eluded apprehension due to the overwhelming increase in cross border migrant traffic.

Afghanistan
Taliban Appoints Female Doctor as Hospital’s Chief of Staff in Afghan Capital
After ten giant steps back, a baby step forward.
[KhaamaPress] The Taliban
...mindless ferocity in a turban...
administration appointed Dr. Simin Mushkin Mohmand as the Chief of Staff of the Rabia Balkhi maternity hospital, one of the busiest hospitals in Kabul, the Afghan capital.

Dr. Mohmand officially began her duties as the chief of staff of the Rabia Balkhi maternity hospital on Monday, October 3, after an introduction ceremony.

When introducing Dr. Mohmand as the new chief of staff, the deputy minister of the Taliban Ministry of Public Health said that the department puts forth every effort to hire experienced and knowledgeable people.

Under Taliban rule, Dr. Mohmand is the second woman to be designated as the appointed hospital head as the Taliban previously appointed Dr. Malalai Faizi as the head of the Malali Maternity Hospital.

Despite the Taliban’s appointment of a woman to a leadership position, the majority of women who held significant government positions under the previous administration are ordered to remain at home.

Additionally, since the Taliban seized power in Afghanistan one year ago, schools have been instructed to close their doors to female students in sixth grade and above until further notice.

Women’s rights activist muppets have frequently protested for the reopening of schools in Kabul and some provinces both inside and outside of Afghanistan, but the schools are still closed, depriving girls of an education.

Members of Libya's High Council of State reject hydrocarbons deal with Turkey
[AlAhram] The statement demanded the High Council of State, the House of Representatives (parliament), and the country's political actors to object to the "political absurdity," referring to the ambiguous terms and objectives stipulated in the MoU.

Members of the Libyan High Council of State on Tuesday announced their objection to the memorandum of understanding (MoU) on oil and gas signed between The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund...
and the Libyan Government of National Unity on Monday.

"We denounce the memorandum of understanding between the government of (Prime Minister) Dbeibah and Turkey's government on oil investment," 73 members of the council said in a joint statement.

The statement came one day after a high-level Ottoman Turkish delegation paid a visit to Tripoli
...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn...
and signed an MoU with the Libyan Government of National Unity that allows Turkey to explore oil and gas fields in some areas of the eastern Mediterranean.

In the statement, the council members also rejected the Ottoman Turkish "opportunistic policy."

The House of Representatives on Monday rejected the MoU, claiming that the Government of National Unity doesn't have authority to sign international agreements "as it has legally expired."

"The Speaker of the House of Representatives confirms that any MoU, treaty, or agreement signed by the expired government is not binding to Libya and the Libyan people," Parliament Spokesman Abdullah Blehig said in a statement.

Moreover, the government that was appointed by the parliament to replace the current Government of National Unity also rejected the MoU on Monday, confirming that it would resort to the law to solve the "tampering with the interests of Libya."

In February, the parliament appointed a new government led by the former interior minister Fathi Bashagha to replace the Tripoli-based Government of National Unity headed by Libyan Prime Minister Abdul-Hamed Dbeibah.

However,
a clean conscience makes a soft pillow...
Dbeibah refuses to hand over power, saying his government would continue to work and only hand over office to an elected government.

Egypt and Greece affirm Libya’s outgoing GNU 'not authorised to sign international deals'
That and five bucks’ll get you a basic cup of coffee.
[AlAhram] Egypt and Greece have affirmed on Monday that the outgoing Government of National Unity (GNU), whose mandate in Tripoli
...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn...
has expired, is not authorised to sign any international agreements and MoUs, according to a statement released by the Egyptian foreign ministry.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias agreed on this stance in a phone call hours after the Tripoli-based GNU government headed by Abdel-Hamid Dbeibah signed a series of preliminary economic agreements in the hydrocarbon and oil sectors with The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund...
The two foreign ministers discussed the latest developments regarding bilateral relations and regional issues, in particular the developments in Libya in the framework of continuous coordination between the two countries, according to a statement by the Egyptian foreign ministry.

The new agreements between the GNU and Ankara were signed by Ottoman Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and Libyan Foreign Minister Najla Mangoush in the Libyan capital.

The agreements may also include energy exploration in maritime areas, Cavusoglu said in a presser after the signing ceremony in the Libyan capital.

Cavusoglu was accompanied in Tripoli by a high-level delegation also including Turkey's energy, defence and trade ministers.

Turkey has provided economic and military support to successive GNU governments in Tripoli, as a deadlock between rival governments in the east and the west of the North African country has prevented holding of national elections that could end more than 11 years of civil war.

In a statement, the Greek foreign ministry condemned the deal, stressing that any measures that aim to implement the 2019 Turkey-Libya maritime demarcation agreement are illegal.

In 2019, Ankara and another former Tripoli-based government signed a controversial maritime border deal with Turkey that granted Ankara access to a contested economic zone in the Mediterranean.

At the time, Egypt, Greece and Cyprus condemned the deal as a stark violation of international maritime laws.

"Depending on [this measure’s] gravity, there will be a reaction both at the level of bilateral relations and at the level of the European Union
...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing...
and NATO
...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A single organization with differing goals, equipment, language, doctrine, and structure....
," the Greek foreign ministry said on Monday.

Greece "has sovereign rights in the region, which it intends to defend using all legitimate means," the ministry stressed.

Local media in Greece quoted Geek diplomatic sources who emphasised that respecting the Egypt-Greece deal in 2020 is absolutely vital.

In 2020, Egypt signed an agreement with Greece for the delimitation of the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) between the two countries.

"We shall not allow any violations of the deal that would trigger yet another hotbed of tension in the Mediterranean," the Greek foreign ministry said.

Egypt, Cyprus and Greece have all rejected Turkey’s oil explorations in recent years inside Cypriot territorial waters, deeming them "unlawful and unacceptable."

Egypt, Greece and Cyprus are members of the East Mediterranean Gas Forum (EMGF), an eight-state economic organization that aims to maximise use of natural gas in the eastern Mediterranean region.

Egypt, which has supported the holding of long-delayed elections in Libya to end the conflict in the country, has called on all sides to raise the national interests of all Libyans above any narrow considerations.

Cairo has also called for the removal of all foreign militias from the country as a step towards a peaceful resolution of conflict.

The October War victory will remain eternally carved in the conscience of Egyptian, Arabs: Sisi
[AlAhram] President Abdel-Fattah El Sisi affirmed on Tuesday that the October War victory will remain eternally carved in the conscience of Egyptians, Arabs and all peace-loving peoples.

President El-Sisi made his statements in a speech at the 36th Cultural Symposium of the Armed Forces to mark the 49th anniversary of the 6th of October War victory in 1973, which falls this year on Thursday.

"This day was designed to be eternally carved not only in the conscience of the Egyptian people but also in the conscience of the entire Arab nation and all peace-loving peoples in the world," the president said.

The president paid tribute on this occasion to the late president Anwar El-Sadat, who courageously made the decision to pursue peace, thus turning the page on the past and opened up prospects of the future for the entire region.

Egypt did not only fight to defend its land, but also to achieve peace, he stressed.

"There were men during the glorious October War who were guided by Almighty God to take decisive decisions that changed the map of regional and international balances."

"Egypt celebrates today the 49th anniversary of the glorious October victory, a day of pride and dignity, a day that represented proof of the capabilities of Egyptians in overcoming the toughest moments of the nation's history."

The president saluted the Egyptian Armed Forces which achieved the victory, expressing his pride in belonging to its ranks.

He added that Egypt achieved on the 6th of October "the miracle of crossing" of the Suez Canal, making the most glorious day in the modern history of Egypt.

El-Sisi noted that "the struggle for transforming the realities of defeat into victory and pain into glory and pride" was at the core of the 6th of October War.

SECURITY, DEVELOPMENT, AND HOPE
The president warned in his speech that the "Forces of Evil" are still spreading rumours and delusions to shake citizen's confidence in their country amid the global economic crisis facing the world.

The president said that he is sure that the development projects that are being carried out in Egypt would achieve security and hopes for the new generations and will also improve the living conditions of Egyptians.

The president urged that citizens and officials should realise that the "nation's future cannot be determined in a year, or two, or three, or even ten years."

He stressed on the importance of fighting poverty and illiteracy, describing them as "real enemies" and warning of their dangers.

El-Sisi asserted that the state has been keen to carry on with development ppojects during its war on terrorism, noting that the Armed Forces and the civilian police fought the "Forces of Evil" in Sinai for eight consecutive years from 2011.

The cost of protecting Sinai has been very high, the president underlined.

The president vowed to continue the construction process in the country despite the challenges posed by the increase in the country's population by 25 million in the last decade.

Despite all the challenges, the development process in the country could not be stopped in the last several years, he stressed.

Turkish Defense Minister: Our Forces in Libya 'Are Not A Foreign Power'
[LIBYAREVIEW] On Monday, Ottoman Turkish Defense Minister, Hulusi Akar claimed that the presence of the Ottoman Turkish military in Libya "is not as a foreign power." This came during a meeting with the Prime Minister of Libya’s Government of National Unity (GNU), Abdel-Hamid Dbaiba in Tripoli
...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn...
Akar explained that "Ottoman Turkish-Libyan relations are based on historical and cultural roots that extend back 500 years, and that Libya’s territorial integrity, independence, and stability are important to The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
.He pointed to the importance of the memorandum of understanding signed between Turkey and Libya in 2019. He claimed that the Ottoman Turkish armed forces present in Libya are not a foreign power, "but rather are elements of a friendly and brotherly country to Libya."

Akar added that they would continue their military training in five centers in Libya. He noted that Ankara is "ready to provide everything necessary to prevent the resumption of conflicts and bloodshed in Libya."

The minister claimed that "Turkey is the only country that has made sincere efforts to achieve self-sufficiency in Libya, without having any agendas."

In June, the Ottoman Turkish Parliament approved a motion to extend the mission of Ottoman Turkish troops in Libya for an additional 18 months.

The Ottoman Turkish Presidency indicated that "the efforts initiated by Libya after the events of February 2011, to build democratic institutions, were in vain due to armed conflicts that led to the emergence of a fragmented administrative structure in the country."

It recalled the signing of the Skhirat Agreement in 2015 in Morocco, under the auspices of the United Nations
...a formerly good idea gone bad...
. This was after nearly a year of negotiations between parties, in order to establish a ceasefire and preserve the country’s territorial integrity. The memorandum explained that the Government of National Accord (GNA), recognised by the United Nations, was formed under the Libyan Political Agreement.

Turkey Denounces 'Insignificant' EU Statements on Libya Agreement
[LIBYAREVIEW] On Tuesday, the Ottoman Turkish Foreign Ministry’s Spokesman, Tanju Bilgic stressed the "insignificance of the statements issued by Greece and the European Union
...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing...
regarding the memorandum of understanding in the field of hydrocarbon resources between The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
and Libya."

In a statement, Bilgic said that "objecting to this agreement, between two sovereign states contradicts international law and the basic principles of the United Nations
...an organization originally established to war on dictatorships which was promptly infiltrated by dictatorships and is now held in thrall to dictatorships...
"Greece’s efforts, which is trying to usurp the legitimate rights of Turkey and Libya, as well by claiming licensed marine areas, will not yield any results. The European Union’s support for Greece’s bad boy demands, and its position that avoids honest dialogue, and obstructs the means to resort to international justice is inconsistent with its own laws and international law," Bilgic added.

He called on the EU members, "not to exceed their borders and powers and to respect the illusory sovereignty and equality of states in accordance with international law and the principles of the United Nations."

On Monday, Ottoman Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Libya in the energy sector.

The EU Spokesman, Peter Stano said the recently signed hydrocarbons deal between Libya and Turkey could "potentially undermine regional stability".

"The European Union takes note of the reports indicating that Turkey and the Libyan Government of National Unity (GNU) have signed an agreement on hydrocarbons based on the 2019 Turkey-Libya Memorandum of Understanding, on the delimitation of maritime jurisdiction areas in the Mediterranean," the EU said in a statement on Monday.

It stressed that the hydrocarbons deal requires further clarifications, given that it’s based on a memorandum that "goes against Law of the Sea and infringes on third states’ rights." Stano affirmed that "actions that could undermine regional stability should be avoided."

Greek Foreign Minister, Nikos Dendias and his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry confirmed that the "GNU’s mandate has ended, and it does not have the authority to conclude any international agreements," the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The Greek Foreign Ministry stated: "Any action or reference in the implementation of said ’memorandum’ will be de facto illegal, and -depending on its gravity- will carry a reaction both at the bilateral level and at the level of the European Union and NATO
...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. A cautionary tale of cost-benefit analysis....

Merkel wins UN refugee agency award over welcome of Syrians
[Rudaw] The U.N. refugee agency said Tuesday it’s giving its highest award to former German Chancellor Angela Merkel
...chancellor of Germany and the impetus behind Germany's remarkably ill-starred immigration program. Merkel used to be referred to by Germans as Mom. Now they make faces at her for inundating the country with Moslem colonists...
for her efforts to welcome more than 1 million refugees - mostly from Syria - into Germany, despite some criticism both at home and abroad.

Matthew Saltmarsh, front man for the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees, said Merkel had been selected as the latest recipient for the Nansen award, which is handed out annually by the Geneva-based U.N. agency.

"Under the then-Federal Chancellor Merkel’s leadership, Germany welcomed more than 1.2 million refugees and asylum-seekers in 2015 and 2016, which, as you will remember, was the height of the conflict in Syria, and there was deadly violence in other parts of the world," Saltmarsh told news hounds. "Dr. Merkel helped to highlight the plight of refugees globally."

Merkel’s decision to let in so many migrants colonists boosted the far-right Alternative for Germany party and resulted in protests by a vocal minority. She was also blasted by some governments for being too friendly to refugees, when some European Union
...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing...

The award includes a $150,000 prize. Merkel is expected to travel to Geneva next Monday to receive the award, Saltmarsh said. Four regional winners were also announced.

More than 60 laureates have received the award since it was founded in 1954 to celebrate Fridtjof Nansen, a Norwegian scientist, explorer and diplomat who was the first commissioner for refugees in the League of Nations — the predecessor of the the United Nations

Task force commander urges gradual end to counter-militancy operations in Poso
[BenarNews] Although government forces have wiped out the Eastern Indonesia Mujahideen (MIT) organization, counter-militancy operations in Central Sulawesi should be terminated gradually because sympathizers of murderous Moslem groups are still present there, a security bigshot said.

Last week, authorities announced that they had killed the last armed member of MIT, after seven years of tracking a dwindling number of runaways in the region’s forested mountains.

A decision is expected soon from authorities in Jakarta on what personnel are needed in Central Sulawesi to ensure that the province is safe post-MIT, senior Police Commissioner Arif Budiman told BenarNews.

"Radical groups and Jemaah Islamiyah sympathizers in Poso and its surroundings still exist," Arif told BenarNews, referring to a regency that was a hotbed of MIT activity. He did not name groups other than JI, the al-Qaeda affiliate that carried out major bombings in Bali in 2002 and 2005.

Arif heads the 1,378-strong Madago Raya Task Force operating in three regencies of Central Sulawesi — the latest in a series of joint police and military operations deployed in the region since 2015.

He said that termination of such operations should be "carried out in stages."

The last known MIT member, Al Ikhwarisman (also known as Jaid and Pak Guru), 34, was rubbed out by members of Densus 88 in Poso Pesisir Utara district on Sept. 29, authorities said.

MIT was formed in 2010, rooted in the bloody conflict between the Moslem-Christian community in Poso that killed more than 1,000 people between 1998 and 2001. It was known for terrorizing local farmers, occasionally beheading them, and as the first turban group in Indonesia to pledge allegiance to the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
, in June 2014.

The following year, Indonesia deployed a joint military-police security operation aimed at wiping out MIT, which at the time had about 40 members, including three foreigners. MIT’s leader at the time, Santoso, was killed in 2016.

Bambang Rukminto, an analyst at the Institute for Security and Strategic Studies (ISESS), said the police refusal to immediately disband the "ad-hoc" task force could be financially motivated.

"My guess is that one of the reasons is because of vested interests, the idea that the task force is a [lucrative] project," Bambang told BenarNews.

Yanuardi Syukur, a researcher at the University of Indonesia’s Center for Strategic Policy Studies, said the operation should be wrapped up.

"Logically, when the last terrorist is removed, the operation is also over," Yanuardi said.

Authorities could instead now engage religious leaders to promote religious moderation and award scholarships to young people in Poso to boost their education, he said.

"The government needs to win the hearts and minds of the people so that together they can live in peace," he said.

Leb Banks Association blames state for crisis, calls for dialogue with depositors
[An Nahar] The Association of Banks in Leb
...an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozeen flavors of Christians. It is the home of Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
on Tuesday blamed the state and the central bank for the country’s "extended systemic crisis," while calling on depositors to engage with it in dialogue, after five banks were stormed in less than 48 hours in a new wave of bank heists.

Criticizing the state for "passing budgets, spending and wasting funds, and declaring a default," ABL said that the central bank is also responsible after it implemented the policies of the successive governments.

Adding that banks "have borne and are still bearing repercussions that exceed any responsibility for them in this extended systemic crisis," ABL said that the banks are "willing to contribute to finding a legal and fair solution that should be sponsored by the state as soon as possible."

"Unifying efforts to demand that the public sector return the deposits is what’s needed... and the Association of Banks calls for a frank dialogue between depositors and banks to demand the recovery of the private sector funds wasted by the state," ABL added.

"We call on the state to immediately shoulder its responsibilities and listen to all parties concerned, especially ABL and the depositors, in order to find the appropriate and possible solutions for dealing with the extended systemic crisis in the country and its dangerous repercussions that have affected everyone," the Association urged.
