Kremlin Critic Alexei Navalny Hospitalized : Acute Putinitis Scare
Moscow (CNN)Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny has been hospitalized with an "acute allergic reaction"
How it usually looks at first
after being placed in special detention, according to a spokesperson. Navalny, Russia's most outspoken opposition figure, was detained by police on Wednesday following a sweep of opposition candidates in the days leading up to anti-government demonstrations in the capital on Saturday.

Writing on Instagram, Navalny said he was detained as he left his apartment to go on a jog. "People are right when they say that sport is not always good for your health," he quipped.

"I have been detained and am now at a police station wearing shorts like a stupid man."
I like this guy. Hate for him to waste away on a bed now.
He was sentenced to 30 days in prison for allegedly violating the country's protest laws. Navalny had called for demonstrations over the weekend after the disqualification of opposition candidates for Russian municipal elections.

That's no ordinary case of the shits, I tell you.

Cyprus police arrest British woman in rape claim, all Israelis released
Whoopsie!
[Jpost] Shades of Christine Blasey Ford
The release of the Israelis is probably in response to the girl changing her version of the story, which harmed her accountability and brought to the decision to release the suspects.

The 19 year old British tourist who was allegedly gang-raped by 12 Israelis in Cyprus' Ayia Napa was arrested on Sunday, as the Israelis were released after the girl admitted that the sexual intercourse was done with her consent, according to Israeli media.

The girl falsely reported of rape, after she got angry with the youths who took videos and pictures of the act, a version that led to the decision to release the suspects and her arrest on the claims of giving false testimony.

Attorney Nir Jeslovich, who represents some of the Israeli suspects claimed that "As I have argued throughout the process there was no rape in Cyprus, the young men who went on a vacation that became a nightmare will go home today, and everyone will return to their homes and families. The Cyprus Police conducted a thorough professional investigation."

Originally, 12 Israelis were arrested for the alleged rape that occurred in Cyprus' Ayia Napa, after a 19 year old British tourist who claimed that the suspects gang raped her in a hotel room, although she admitted to have willingly gone to the hotel room with one of the Israelis, but claimed that the other 11 showed up and raped her.

Three Israelis have admitted to have had sexual intercourse with the girl, but claimed that it done with her consent, while the other nine denied having any physical contact with her.

#5  I doubt the boys were very religious. It is possible but troublesome to get kosher food on Cyprus and most religious Jews don't go there for extended stays (although there are a number of Jewish Israeli marriages there to avoid the heavy hand of the Israeli Orthodox Rabbinate).

#6  Really ?

Story goes, Balaam was a diviner, called a prophet but a low-down, wannabe (D) congressman . He loved filthy lucre and was asked by Israel's enemy, Balak to try to get Gawd Awmighty hisself to mess up the Israelites some, since only Gawd Awmighty hisself could ever do anything to 'em.

God wouldn't let Balaam convince Himself or give in to his fake propaganda with doctored CNN coverage of Israel's sins or his entreaties. No. He just wouldn't turn on Israel.

Balaam knows only way for God to beat on Isael is if Israel does something really wrong. Like wantonly copulate with idolator she-bitches from Midian.

Balaam advises Balaak to organize a feast and invite Israeli boys. A 'Youth Bible Retreat' as it were. It should start as a devout singing and clapping hymn session, but as the evening progresses, the DJ changes tracks and the forbidden Midianite Kardashiansseductresses shed their hijabs and start gyrating like Cher to "Amazing Grace". Soon, they're doing the "Onward christian soldier" hand in hand, with breast bumps and twerks. The night ends with saliva exchanged and condoms bought in a rush to the barns. TW correct me if I'm wrong and excuse the impiety.

Gawd Awmighty is now ticked off ! Gawd Awmighty brings down the weight of the unforgiving universe on Israel. He's like that often, no explanations. Someone jumps in to save the day later, but you get the gist of it.

The lesson was - these boys shouldn't be fucking around with un-kosher bitches. It's all their enemy needs to see them defeated.

Jeffrey Epstein's cellmate sez he saved the billionaire pedophile's life during his recent suicide attempt
[MAIL] Jeffrey Epstein's cellmate says he saved the billionaire pedophile's life during his recent suicide attempt inside Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York.

Nicholas Tartaglione - a former NYPD officer accused of killing four men over a drug deal gone wrong - claims he found Epstein unconscious on Tuesday night.

Epstein, 66, tried to hang himself before Tartaglione, 49, quickly called for help, according to The New York Daily News.

Investigators were initially trying to determine whether Tartaglione had assaulted Epstein or whether the billionaire financier had attempted to end his own life when he was found in his cell.

Epstein was rushed to hospital with neck injuries, while Tartaglione was questioned about Epstein's behavior and mental state in the hours before he was found on the floor.
Nick was questioned "hours before," and he hadn't noticed anything? What a coincidence. How long has Nick been doing psychiatric exams ?
However, Tartaglione's attorney Bruce Barket told DailyMail.com on Friday that the pair had struck up a close friendship following Epstein's arrest on July 6.

July 2019 European heat wave
[Wikipedia] The July 2019 Western European heat wave is an ongoing period of exceptionally hot weather, resulting in record-breaking high temperatures in five Western European countries: Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.[1] It follows after an unusually hot June heat wave, and has been caused by a strong omega block,[2] specifically by hot and dry air from North Africa, trapped between cold storm systems.

The heat wave set new all-time national heat records in five countries. The previous records were exceeded by 3 °C (5.4 °F) in Belgium, by 2.9 °C (5.2 °F) in Luxembourg, by 2.1 °C (3.8 °F) in Germany and the Netherlands, and by 0.2 °C (0.36 °F) in the United Kingdom.

One KIA, ten WIA at Brooklyn, NY annual 'Old Timers Week' block party
[Mail] A 38-year-old man has died following a mass shooting at a park in New York City.

Eleven other people - including a child - were injured as a hail of gunfire erupted at Brownsville Playground in Brooklyn at around 11pm on Saturday night.

The area was teeming with locals who were out celebrating 'Old Timers Week' - an annual community block party in its 56th year.

A single shooter - still at large - is believed to be responsible for the tragedy, according to The New York Post.

Following the incident, scores of police and EMS response teams descended upon the area before victims were rushed to nearby hospitals.

Detectives were seen pacing the area, with one abandoned firearm found among discarded cups and bottles that littered the ground following the festival.

Drug Suspects Desperately Dump Cocaine In Coast Guard Boat Chase
I'm thinking the Coast Guard ought to chase them just enough to get them to dump their load overboard, then just turn around and head back to base. No news reports, no nothing. Let the smugglers explain what happened and see how well things go for them.
The U.S. Coast Guard recorded on video a frantic boat crew desperately dumping what officials said were huge bags of cocaine into the sea during a high-speed chase in the eastern Pacific earlier this month.

Despite loads going overboard, the Coast Guard managed to confiscate thousands of pounds of the drug in the July 18 nail-biter chase, officials announced.

Coast Guard crew members "apprehended the suspected smugglers and seized approximately 2,300 pounds of cocaine from the vessel," the Coast Guard said in a statement Friday.

That operation and a series of others in international waters off Mexico and Central and South America beginning in late June netted an astounding total of 26,000 pounds of cocaine valued at $350 million, according to officials. The cocaine was confiscated from six suspected drug-smuggling vessels ‐ and plucked from the sea as floating bales of cocaine. The 13-ton haul was transported to San Diego and unloaded from the Coast Guard cutter Steadfast on Friday.

"This was 26,000 pounds of cocaine that will not make it to the main streets of the U.S.A.," said Coast Guard district commander Rear Adm. Peter Gautier. "We know that with a supply chain of illegal narcotics, at every single step there’s violence, instability and despair."

Earlier this month Coast Guard crew members leaped on a submarine allegedly packed with cocaine in another successful James-Bond-like operation.

Check out the latest adventure of derring-do in the video up top.

Senate confirms judge despite Dems' ‘unadulterated anti-Catholic bigotry'
[Conservative Review] In a 51-40 party-line vote Wednesday afternoon, the Senate voted to confirm Brian Buescher as a federal district judge for the district of Nebraska after he faced scrutiny from Judiciary Committee Democrats late last year for his membership in a Catholic fraternal organization.

Buescher found himself at the middle of a national debate about religious intolerance late last year after he was questioned by Democratic Sens. Mazie Hirono, Hawaii, and Kamala Harris, Calif., about his involvement with the Knights of Columbus, a Catholic fraternal organization dedicated to the principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.

"The Knights of Columbus has taken a number of extreme positions," Hirono said in December, noting the group’s adherence to Catholic teaching on same-sex marriage. "If confirmed, do you intend to end your membership with this organization to avoid any appearance of bias?"

Before the vote, Republican Sen. Ben Sasse of Nebraska took to the Senate floor to defend Buescher and urge colleagues to vote in favor of confirmation.

"Brian’s confirmation process has been an occasion for one of the most baffling displays of constitutional confusion and for prejudice I’ve seen in my time here," Sasse told the chamber.

"Brian is a Catholic, and he’s a member of the Knights of Columbus. The Knights of Columbus is the largest Catholic fraternal organization in the world," Sasse pointed out. "This is not a scandal."

"But according to some of my colleagues," Sasse continued, "the Knights of Columbus is an extremist outfit. One of my colleagues suggested that Brian needs to resign his membership in the Knights if he were confirmed to the federal bench to ’avoid the appearance of conflict and bias.’ Really bizarre stuff."

Sasse also called the questions about Buescher’s membership in the organization "plain, unadulterated anti-Catholic bigotry."

Buescher is not the only judicial nominee to be questioned about his involvement in the Knights of Columbus. Sasse also came to the defense of then-nominee Peter Phipps after he was asked similar questions during his confirmation last month. Phipps was confirmed by a 56-40 vote earlier this month.

Mark Levin: ‘There is no Mueller report. It's a Weissmann report'
[Conservative Review] Wednesday on the radio, LevinTV host Mark Levin explained that the only takeaway from former special counsel Robert Mueller’s congressional hearing is that the real author of the 400-page Mueller report appears to be Andrew Weissmann.

"I want to thank the Democrat Party today for this hearing ‐ actually two hearings," Levin said. "I want to thank them, because they just killed impeachment. See, this was an impeachment trial. They used to call them ’the best and the brightest.’ Now they’re the worst and the dumbest. Unbelievable. Robert Mueller. I’m not going to mock him, as they would mock him if he were testifying for the other side, but what you saw today ... was a fraud, a ruse, that has been perpetrated against the American people. There is no Mueller report. It’s a Weissmann report. There is no Mueller special counsel. It was the Weissmann special counsel. Weissmann. And this little bastard ‐ that’s right, I said it! ‐ Weissmann, who destroyed Arthur Andersen and 80,000 jobs ‐ in a 9-0 decision, Supreme Court, that reversed him on this very issue of obstruction of justice. He’s the invisible hand that’s been behind the whole damn thing, from day one. ... This wasn’t a special counsel office; this wasn’t an office of prosecutors. This was an office of Democrat activists who happen to be attorneys in the government. And they had the power to use criminal law and processes and tools to advance a political agenda, even though they failed. That’s why they were so hot to get Manafort."

Guns, Drugs, CIA at Mena, Arkansas: Judicial Watch Demands Answers
[Before It's News] The mysterious events surrounding Mena Airfield in remote western Arkansas during the gubernatorial reign of Bill Clinton have teased the popular imagination for more than three decades. Movies have been made, books have been published, hundreds of articles have been written. Many of the more baroque allegations emerge from the fever swamps of conspiracy theorists, but certain facts are indisputable. CIA and DEA activities flowed out of Mena in the Clinton years. Cocaine‐a lot of it‐flowed in. And for thirty years, every attempt to get to the bottom of events at Mena‐federal, state, judicial, journalistic‐has failed.
As will all future attempts also.
Judicial Watch has launched a new campaign for answers. The CIA "stonewalled the release of information now sought by Judicial Watch on the Mena Airport controversy," said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. So last month, we filed a lawsuit seeking a long-hidden report by the CIA inspector general into events at Mena. The Judicial Watch lawsuit seeks the report of a November 1996 CIA investigation into "drug running, money laundering and intelligence gathering" at Mena. We’re taking other steps, too‐Freedom of Information actions against the DEA, FBI, and Arkansas state institutions.

Feds probe socialite's mysterious ocean ‘charity' over links to Jeffrey Epstein
[NYP] A mysterious do-nothing charity founded by Jeffrey Epstein’s socialite gal pal is being investigated by the FBI for possible links to the convicted pedophile, The Post has learned.

The TerraMar Project was incorporated in London and Delaware in 2012, purportedly to raise awareness of environmental and other issues facing the oceans, and exclusively funded by hundreds of thousands in loans by heiress Ghislaine Maxwell, public filings show.
Please have your TerraMar passports ready. We'll be landing soon.
Maxwell, 57, the daughter of the late British media mogul Robert Maxwell, has been accused by three women of procuring girls to work as sex slaves for convicted pedophile Epstein, according to court filings. Two of the women said both Maxwell and Epstein sexually assaulted them. She has not been charged with a crime.

Maxwell was listed as president of TerraMar, and her Upper East Side home was its official office. She pumped $283,429 into it between 2012 and 2017. In that time, the so-called charity gave out a total of $874 in grants.

Between 2002 and 2005, Epstein used his private jets ‐ dubbed the "Lolita Express" ‐ to shuttle girls for sex between his estates in New York, Palm Beach, Fla., and the Virgin Islands, according to prosecutors.

This two pronged approach will mobilize Member States of the United Nations to include Oceans in the SDGs and the global campaign will engage citizens around the world to have a say in the effective and efficient management, and preservation of oceans and seas. By including Oceans and Seas in the SDGs, governments will be able to develop national plans and strategies for the protection of the oceans. One of the overarching goals of the Alliance is to build a coalition of the broad range of actors in this field and provide a unified voice to bring about more cohesion in the balance between humans and marine life.

#3  Love the cliches in that Clinton document, Besoeker. You could create an algorithm that would generate such mind-numbing junk based on a single prompt. The output would be larded with all these oily phrases:

impacting
mobilize the international community
two pronged approach global campaign
engage citizens around the world
effective and efficient management
develop national plans and strategies
overarching goals
build a coalition of
broad range of actors
unified voice
cohesion

Victor Davis Hanson: Befuddled Mueller Confirmed He Was A Figurehead, Used By Partisans That Hijacked His Name
[Real Clear Politics] Victor Davis Hanson said former special counsel Robert Mueller was oblivious when he testified to the House Judiciary Committee and House Intelligence Committee on Wednesday. Hanson said his testimony confirmed that he was just a figurehead and being used by a partisan group who "hijacked his conservative name."

"All this Bob Mueller reputation was not proved by any reality," Hanson told FOX News' Laura Ingraham. "Anything he said to the public or any meetings he had with the Trump legal team, who were supposedly not as educated, not as Ivy League as the dream team, the all-stars, the pros that we were told. And yet an actual performance and actual meritocratic barometers of effectiveness, the Trump team outfoxed them. They were better lawyers."

Hanson said Mueller was supposed to make something illegitimate look legitimate and make a "partisan progressive project" look conservative. In the end, Hanson said, Mueller and his team weren't able to prove anything other than a "thought crime."

"He didn't produce documents, he didn't fire anybody. So what are we left with in the end, the Democrats in the committee were talking about a thought crime. It's not against the law to think things. That's a Soviet Orwellian tradition, that's not an American jurisprudence tradition," Hanson said.

"Bob Mueller reputation was supposed to do two things. It was supposed to put an imprimatur of legitimacy on something that was illegitimate, and it was supposed to make a partisan progressive project look like it was conservative," Hanson said.

Evidence That Trump's ‘Remain In Mexico' Policy Is Working
[The Texas Tribune] NUEVO LAREDO, Mexico ‐ It was the first phone call to his family back in Honduras since crossing the Texas-Mexico border, and Olvin Alexander Buezo had bad news.

He wasn’t in the United States as expected. His 7-year-old son would not be attending elementary school this fall in Foley, Alabama. There would be no good-paying U.S. job to finance the $6,000 debt he incurred to pay their smuggler.

"I already told [my uncle] to sell everything," Buezo said during the brief but somber phone call to his wife on Tuesday. Their small "farm" ‐ less than three acres ‐ would have to go.

"There’s no other way," he said. "The important thing is to get back home alive in Honduras." By Thursday, Buezo was already in southern Mexico, on the way back home after abandoning his asylum claim.

He wasn’t alone. On two recent afternoons this week at a Mexican migrant processing facility in Nuevo Laredo, dozens of Central Americans were asked by The Texas Tribune to raise their hands if they wanted to return to their countries of origin. Nearly all of them did.

They had just been marched across an international bridge from Laredo into Nuevo Laredo under the nascent "remain in Mexico" program. They said Mexican authorities gave them a choice: fend for themselves in the rough-and-tumble border town or board a chartered bus for a free ride to bustling Monterrey a few hours south. As night approached, dozens were opting for the safety of the bus over the mean streets of Nuevo Laredo, getting on board in the same clothes they had on when they crossed the border and carrying the asylum paperwork they got on the other side.

Many won’t be coming back. Though U.S. immigration officials had given them a "notice to appear" in coming weeks for asylum hearings at a yet-to-be-completed courthouse near the Rio Grande in Laredo, many said they’re giving up and returning home to avoid becoming sitting ducks for the local drug cartels or winding up deeper in debt for an ever-decreasing chance of gaining entry to the United States.

Pres. Trump tells black lawmaker to clean up 'disgusting, rat and rodent infested' district
WASHINGTON, July 27 (Reuters) - President Donald Trump hit out at a prominent African-American critic on Saturday, calling him a "brutal bully" who should concentrate on cleaning up his "disgusting, rat and rodent infested" Baltimore district rather than criticizing the work of U.S. immigration officers on the Mexican border.

Trump's target in a series of early morning tweets was U.S. Representative Elijah Cummings, Democratic chairman of the House of Representatives Oversight Committee, who has called Trump a racist and sharply criticized his immigration policies.

Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi responded to Trump by calling Cummings a champion for civil rights and economic justice and added in a tweet: "We all reject racist attacks against him and support his steadfast leadership."

On Thursday, the committee voted 23-16 along party lines to allow Cummings to issue subpoenas to White House officials, including Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump and son-in-law Jared Kushner, deepening a probe into potential violations of government record-keeping laws.

Later Saturday, Trump signaled his anger with Cummings' committee efforts, writing in another tweet that the Democrat "spends all of his time trying to hurt innocent people through 'Oversight.'"

Trump, a Republican, took aim at Cummings' criticism of his administration's Mexican border policies.

"Rep, Elijah Cummings has been a brutal bully, shouting and screaming at the great men & women of Border Patrol about conditions at the Southern Border, when actually his Baltimore district is FAR WORSE and more dangerous. His district is considered the Worst in the USA......," Trump tweeted.

15 killed in Islamist militant attack in Burkina Faso
[AlAhram] Armed men described as Islamist faceless myrmidons raided a village in Burkina Faso
...The country in west Africa that they put where Upper Volta used to be. Its capital is Oogadooga, or something like that. Its president is currently Blaise Compaoré, who took office in 1987 and will leave office feet first, one way or the other...
's restive north, killing 15 people, plundering and burning shops and cycle of violences, a regional governor said Saturday.

The raid took place on the night of Thursday to Friday with "around 20 individuals attacking the village of Diblou," said a security source who put the corpse count at 14.

But a statement by the governor of the Centre-Nord region, Casimir Segueda, said that 15 people were killed, and the village's market torched.

A local resident said that "the forces of Evil burnt shops and cycle of violences".

"Almost the entire market was looted," the resident added.

The poor Sahel state has been battling a rising wave of Islamist holy warrior attacks over the last four years which began in the north but have since spread to the east, near the border with Togo and Benin.

Most attacks in the former French colony are attributed to the Islamist holy warrior group Ansarul Islam, which emerged near the Mali border in December 2016, and to the JNIM (Group to Support Islam and Moslems), which has sworn allegiance to al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb.

Those groups are believed to be responsible for around 500 deaths since 2015. The capital Ouagadougou has been attacked three times.

Suicide bomber kills 6 national army soldiers in southern Syria
[AlAhram] A jacket wallah killed six national army soldiers Saturday in the southern province of Daraa, in a rare deadly attack against the cradle of the uprising that sparked Syria's war, a monitor said.

The bomber, who was riding a cycle of violence, went kaboom! at a military checkpoint killing the six soldiers and wounding several other people, the Britannia-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.

Syria's state news agency SANA also reported a suicide kaboom but said it happened during an "army raid" that targeted "terrorists", a term used by authorities to describe rebels and jihadists.

SANA said several soldiers were maimed when "a terrorist detonated an boom belt during an army raid".

It was not immediately clear who was behind the blast, but pro-government forces in Daraa province face explosions and gunfire on a near daily basis, although they are usually not deadly.

France warns Johnson against ‘provocations’ ahead of Macron meeting
[DAWN] Boris Johnson will travel to La Belle France to meet French President Emmanuel Macron in the next few weeks, French officials said on Friday, while warning the new British premier against "posturing" and "provocations."

The 41-year-old French leader, who has said he is happy to be considered the "bad guy" in the Brexit negotiations, is set to be a key figure during the tricky and potentially bad-tempered talks in the months ahead.
"Mommy says I'm a bad boy"
Macron extended the invitation to Johnson in a call late on Thursday from his official summer vacation residence in the south of La Belle France, the fort of Bregancon, where he is expected to stay for the next three weeks, said an aide.

But in a sign of wariness in La Belle France about Johnson’s anti-EU rhetoric, La Belle France’s Europe

Minister Amelie de Montchalin urged Britannia’s new leader to work on creating a working relationship with his partners on the continent. "From our side, we need to be responsible," she told La Belle France 2 television.

"That means being clear, predictable and it means on the other side that we need to create a working relationship, that there aren’t games, posturing, provocations." The timing of the meeting between Macron and Johnson was unclear. The British prime minister is due in La Belle France to attend the G7 meeting of developed nations in Biarritz on August 24-26. "In any case, we want to work with him .. and we need to," Montchalin added.

MSNBC Host: We’re Not Going to ‘Play Fair’ to Put Trump in Jail
[BREITBART] During a Friday appearance on Morning Joe, MSNBC host Donny Deutsch promised the world, “We’re not going to necessarily play fair” to put President Trump “in jail.”

“We may not have won the battle of impeachment,” Deutsch squealed, “but we’re going to win the war of putting him in jail — whatever we have to do, and we’re not going to necessarily play fair.”

So what you have here is an anchor for a major cable news outlet assuring everyone that when it comes to putting an individual in prison, “we’re not going to … play fair.”

This is how far gone the media now are… So angry, so bitter, so demoralized, such a sorry gang of sore losers that they are now promising to put a man in prison, a sitting president, a family man — and, if necessary, rig the proceedings to make it happen.

Even when the media were at their previous worst, which was during the George W. Bush era, never could I have imagined a day when an NBC News anchor would admit on television that his professional goal is to put a political opponent in prison, even if that means cheating and lying and gaming the system to make it happen.

The other interesting part of all this NBCrazy is what has so unraveled the far-left news outlet, what has driven it to finally expose the fascist mask, and that is the death of the impeachment fever dream, a death caused by special counsel Robert Mueller’s disastrous performance Thursday.

Man arrested for exposing himself, sexually harassing girls in Lahore
[DAWN] Lahore police have arrested a man who chased a group of girls and sexually harassed them on the road earlier this week, it emerged on Saturday.

The action was taken after a social media user on Thursday described the ordeal she and her friends went through in a series of tweets.

The girl, who is a student, stated that she was returning home along with a group of girls while travelling in a cycle of violence rickshaw when a man on a cycle of violence started chasing them on Raiwind Road.

After coming as close to the rickshaw as possible, the suspect started exposing himself to the girls, the tweet said.

The girl said she then took out her cellphone and captured photos of the harasser and his cycle of violence's number plate. "This is the kind of society where girls are afraid to go out. We have to stand against such behaviour," the text accompanying the photos on Twitter said.

Taking notice of the girl's account, Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) BA Nasir ordered immediate action against the suspect. In the photos posted on social media, the suspect was seen wearing a helmet but his cycle of violence number was clearly legible.

On directions of the CCPO, a special police team lead by Saddar Superintendent of Police (SP) Ahsan Saifullah started an investigation and apprehended the suspect in a matter of hours after using the lead from the video and photos posted by the victims. A case was registered against him under Sections 294 (obscene acts and songs in public) and 268 (public nuisance) of the Pakistain Penal Code.

The victims complained that the suspect made derogatory comments and attempted to harass them sexually.

According to police, the suspect is an engineer and a Hafiz-e-Koran who led Taraweeh prayers in Ramazan. Police said the man has been accused of committing similar offences in the past well. When called up by police, his family said they were not aware of his behaviour.

Iran’s Plan to keep Donald Trump from being reelected
[Jpost] In October 1980, US president Jimmy Carter
...only the second worst president ever...
was eight points ahead in the Gallup Polls. Things were not going well for Republican candidate Ronald Reagan. He had a series of gaffes, i.e., claiming that Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, had eliminated its smog; that trees polluted as much as cars; and that Alaska possessed more oil than Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
Reagan had become bogged down in many controversies regarding everything from Taiwan to Vietnam, the Ku Klux Klan, the stealth bomber program and more. He confused facts and figures constantly. It appeared that Jimmy Carter would easily win a second term despite the issues with his administration that had upset the American people.

Ozhekome says proscription of Shiite group is unconstitutional
[PULSE.NG] Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Chief Mike Ozekhome has faulted the court order obtained by Federal Government to proscribe the Islamic Movement in Nigeria popularly known as Shiite Moslems.
Ozekhome said the court order which also declared the movement as a terrorist group was unconstitutional, saying a religious group can not be banned.

The lawyer argued that the proscription is discriminatory on the ground that that Buhari administration has refused to proscribe herdsmen that have allegedly been killing Nigerians for a long time.

Ozekhome further argued that the proscription was a violation of the rights of the members of the Shiite Moslems guaranteed under section 38, 40 and 41 of the Constitution, adding that "the Constitution is ruthlessly being shredded by an intolerant and overbearing civilian dictatorship."

[REALCLEARPOLITICS] Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper revealed in an interview last week that if not for President Obama asking for an intelligence community assessment that "set off a whole sequence of events" we would not have the Mueller investigation. Clapper, a CNN contributor, said the effects of that intel assessment "are still unfolding today."

"One point I'd like to make, Anderson, that I don't think has come up very much before, and I'm alluding now to the President's criticism of President Obama for all that he did or didn't do before he left office with respect to the Russian meddling. If it weren't for President Obama, we might not have done the intelligence community assessment that we did that set off a whole sequence of events which are still unfolding today, notably, special counsel Mueller's investigation," Clapper said Wednesday on CNN.
An illegal FISA warrant and intelligence collection against US Persons (USP) is now being cloaked as an Obama directed "Intelligence Assessment."

Couple decide not to have children because of climate change
[YAHOO] A newlywed couple are willing to give up their dream of starting a family in order to help save the planet.

Ella Starling, 27, and her husband Jackson, 29, are committed environmental activists and had always planned to have children together.

But the couple fear that the “planet is not right for a baby” and after extensively researching the risks that come hand-in-hand with climate change, have drawn to the conclusion that bringing a child into the world would be “unfeasible” right now.

“The decision to not have children hurts, but I am not convinced the future of our planet is right for a baby,” Ella admitted. “I get a lump in my throat every time I think about not having a family but until the government responds and takes action, I refuse to have a family.”

The newlyweds from Pembrokeshire believe that over the next decade, the world will face higher death rates due to increased air pollution, the regularity of extreme weather and food shortages caused by crop failure.
One of Mr. Wife’s nieces just gave birth to her third child, while the other niece is about to pop out her fourth. Both are conservative, happily married, and gainfully employed, so clearly, like the English royal duchesses, the Trump kids, and Chelsea Clinton, there are those of that generation who are not troubled by such unscientific scruples. Former part-time daughter just had her third (their first), too, and my brother’s stepson just had his first.

House Dems Get Dark Money Group After Introducing Bill Against Dark Money
[FREEBEACON] After introducing a bill that contained provisions geared towards tackling dark money in politics, House Democrats have a new dark money group in their corner.

House Majority Forward, a 501(c)(4) nonprofit that will not have to disclose its donors, was established in March. It marks its charitable purpose in North Carolina filings as promoting "economic growth and opportunity, environmental stewardship, and democracy in the United States of America." The group plans to raise at least $20 million throughout 2019 to back Democrats and attack Republicans, and will begin airing the first of its digital and TV ads this week as part of a larger $10 million advertising blitz for the year, Politico reports.

The new ad highlights bills being "blocked" by Republicans in Congress, bills to reduce drug costs, expand gun control, provide a path to citizenship for some illegal immigrants colonists, and‐despite House Majority Forward being itself a dark money nonprofit‐HR 1, or the For the People Act. Introduced by House Democrats in January, HR 1 contained a provision for the disclosure of major donors who give to 501(c)(4) nonprofits.

Moscow police arrest hundreds at banned rally for fair elections
[DAWN] Police in Moscow said they arrested more than 1,000 people on Saturday at a banned opposition protest calling for city authorities to reverse decisions to exclude key opposition candidates from the ballot paper.

The protest was the latest in a wave of demonstrations calling for fair local elections in the capital.

Around 3,500 people erupted into the streets for the unauthorised rally, according to official figures. Several of the arrests were violent and police used batons against protesters, AFP news hounds at the scene saw.

In all, "1,074 people have been arrested for a variety of offences during an unauthorised demonstration in the centre of the capital", Moscow police were quoted as saying by Russian news agencies.

The rally came a week after the capital's biggest protest in years, when some 22,000 marchers called on officials to reverse rulings and allow opposition activists to stand for the city council in September.

Since then Sherlocks have raided the homes and headquarters of several disqualified candidates, while top Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny was placed in durance vile

"Honestly, I'm scared," 42-year-old IT worker Alexei Sprizhitsky told AFP at the demonstration on Saturday.

Eight dead, 60 hurt as quakes shake northern Philippine isles
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Two strong earthquakes hours apart struck a group of sparsely populated islands in the Luzon Strait in the northern Philippines early Saturday, killing at least eight people, injuring about 60 and causing substantial damage.

The quakes collapsed houses built of stone and wood, arousing residents from sleep, said Roldan Esdicul, who heads the Batanes provincial disaster-response office.

"Our bed and everything were swaying from side to side like a hammock," Esdicul told The News Agency that Dare Not be Named by cellphone from Basco town, the quiet provincial capital. "We all ran out to safety."

More than 1,000 residents of hard-hit Itbayat island - nearly half of the island’s population of mostly fishermen - were advised not to return to their homes and stay in the town plaza as successive aftershocks shook the region, he said.

"The maimed are still being brought in," Itbayat Mayor Raul de Sagon told a local radio station. He said more doctors may be needed if the number of injured from interior villages rises.

The Philippine seismology agency said the quakes measured 5.4 and 5.9. A third quake magnitude 5.7 struck later Saturday.

Esdicul said he was already in his office with the provincial governor when the second and more powerful quake struck about three hours after the first shock. "We have to hold on because you can’t stand or walk. It was that strong," he said.

The initial quake severely cracked the bell tower of the island’s old limestone church, the 19th-century Santa Maria de Mayan, a popular tourist attraction. The tower collapsed when the second temblor hit the island, he said.

An Itbayat hospital was damaged but remained open. An air force helicopter and a plane were en route to Batanes to help ferry and provide aid to victims.

Itbayat, part of the Batanes Islands, has a population of about 2,800 people and lies in the Luzon Strait that separates the Philippines and Taiwan. The islands are famous for their stone-built houses, coral walls and cogon grass roofs.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Air strikes kill 15 civilians in northwest Syria
[ARABNEWS] Regime and Russian air strikes Saturday killed 15 civilians, more than half of them children, in northwestern Syria where ramped up attacks by the two allies have claimed hundreds of lives since April.

Idlib and parts of the neighbouring provinces of Aleppo, Hama and Latakia are under the control of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, a jihadist group led by Syria's former Al-Qaeda affiliate.

The region is supposed to be protected from a massive government offensive by a September buffer zone deal, but it has come under increasing bombardment by the regime and its Russian ally over the past three months.

In the Idlib town of Ariha, seven children were among 11 civilians killed in Syrian air strikes that targeted two residential buildings and also wounded 28 other people, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

One of the dead was a small boy who was found under the rubble by White Helmets rescuers, his face bloodied and his body covered in white dust, a photographer who works with AFP said from the scene.

He also witnessed rescuers digging through the rubble of a collapsed roof for more victims, while a member of the White Helmets moved the body of a young man into the back of a pickup truck.

Ariha made headlines after it was pummelled Wednesday by warplanes that claimed the lives of 10 civilians, according to the Observatory, when a picture of three sisters struggling for their lives went viral on social media networks.

The picture showed two dust-covered girls trapped in the rubble and clutching their baby sister by her shirt as she dangles from a bombed out building.

One of the girls later died of her wounds while the other two are hospitalised and fighting to stay alive, according to local medics.

Russian air strikes on northern Hama province Saturday that hit an ambulance killed three rescuers while another child died in Syrian regime bombardment elsewhere in the Idlib region, the Observatory said.

Iranian soldier, several 'anti-revolutionaries' killed on Iraqi border: IRGC
[Rudaw] An Iranian soldier was killed in Friday festivities close to the Iraqi border, Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed on Saturday, along with a number of "anti-revolutionaries" - a euphemism used for Kurdish opposition party members based in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

A Guard border patrol "encountered and fought with an anti-revolutionary group in Sarvabad" in Kurdistan province, the IRGC-affiliated Fars News Agency reported.

An unspecified number of the "anti-revolutionaries were killed and maimed, and a considerable amount of their weapons and ammunition was destroyed." One of the Guard was "maimed and died en route to hospital", the agency added.

The report did not disclose whether or not the combatants were from Kurdish opposition or jihadist groups, both of which have previously entered Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan, the abbreviation IRGC is a cognate form of Stürmabteilung (or SA), the term Supreme Guide is a cognate form of either Shah or Führer or maybe both, and they hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
from neighbouring Iraq. Jihadi groups have occasionally clashed with Iranian security forces in Kurdish areas in Iran.

Hangaw Human Rights Organization reported late on Friday that Kurdish forces and the IRGC "clashed in Zhone Resort located between Dagaga and Ravar [Kurdistan province] and a member of the IRGC, Saeed Hadi Ojaq, from [the city of] Qorveh was killed and two other injured."

Parts of the Kurdistan Region bordering Iran are often bombarded by Iranian forces. The IRGC and Kurdish opposition forces have clashed in these mountainous areas, typically on the Iranian side, for decades.

A spate of festivities have taken place across Iran's Kurdish areas in the last two months.

At least 10 IRGC members were killed in an attack claimed by the Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) in the Kurdistan province town of Mariwan last week.

Unlike the rest of Iran, overseen by the Iranian national army, the provinces of Kurdistan and West Azerbaijan, where ethnic minority Kurds and Azeris predominate, are under the control of the IRGC’s Hamza Sayyid al-Shuhada command centre.
A cute little map of the provinces in question can be seen at the link.
The Guard enforces strict measures to prevent armed Kurdish groups from entering the country, including constructing a network of roads and building more outposts in the mountainous Kurdish regions.

The 209th Shaheen Corps in a statement said the security forces arrested Habibullah, the Taliban IED planter in Mazar-e-Sharif city on Friday.

The statement further added that the security forces arrested Habibullah, a resident of Andkhoi district, as he was attempting to plant a bomb in a crowded area of the city.

Furthermore, the 209th Shaheen Corps said the security forces handed over Habibullah to provincial intelligence directorate.

The Taliban group has not commented in this regard so far.

Police pick up suspect from Bhara Kahu in girl’s rape case
[DAWN] ISLAMABAD: A young man was picked up by the capital police from Bhara Kahu area in connection with the rape and murder attempt case of a four-year-old girl after the victim identified him, Dawn has learnt.

"A female assistant commissioner recorded the statement of the girl about a week ago at a private ward of Pakistain Institute of Medical Sciences where she was getting medical treatment," officials privy to the investigation said.

The girl stated that she was playing outside her house along with her brother in rain, the officials said, adding that she returned home after her brother left to buy bread for neighbours.

Quoting the girl, the officials said she went to the terrace of her house to enjoy the weather when her neighbour frightened her, saying there were demons on the terrace.

Shortly afterwards, she came down and again went outside the house where the neighbour was present, the officials quoted her, adding that later he took her to the nearby bushes where the rape and murder attempt incident took place.

Trump paves way for sanctions in Mali conflict
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] US President Donald Trump
...Oh, noze! Not him!...
issued an executive order Friday laying the groundwork for sanctions against those who have exacerbated the "deteriorating situation in Mali," the White House said.

The decree will freeze assets and suspend travel for "individuals or entities that seek to undermine the peace, security or stability of Mali," Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in a statement.

Mali is struggling to quell unrest that began in 2012 in the north and spread to other parts of the country, despite aid from French and UN forces.

"Extremist groups are exploiting ethnic tensions and expanding their networks well outside Mali’s borders," Pompeo added, without specifying who might be targeted by the sanctions.

A US senior administration official, speaking on condition of anonymity
... for fear of being murdered...
, said that anyone sanctioned "can no longer access the United States financial system."

Last week Washington imposed sanctions on an al-Qaeda-linked group in Mali that carried out deadly attacks on the country’s armed forces.

In 2015 a peace agreement was signed with some armed factions, but parts of Mali remain beyond the control of the government and the armed forces.

The UN mission to Mali, known as MINUSMA, "has faced more violence and danger than any other peacekeeping mission in UN history," Pompeo said.

button men on Saturday killed 23 mourners in Borno state in Nigeria's restive northeast after they attended a funeral, local militia and residents said.

At around 1030 GMT, the attackers on three cycle of violences opened fire on a group of men as they walked back from a funeral in Nganzai district near the state capital Maiduguri, local militia leader Bunu Bukar Mustapha said.

"Our men recovered 23 dead bodies from the scene of the attack, which happened this morning," Mustapha told AFP.

The men were returning to Badu Kuluwu from nearby Goni Abachari village where they had attended funeral prayers for a relative, Mustapha said.

A Nganzai district official confirmed both the incident and corpse count.

"I received calls from Nganzai that Boko Haram killed 23 people near Badu Kuluwu this morning," said the official, who asked not to be identified for his own safety.

Local hunters and militia recovered the bodies after survivors returned to the village and alerted them, Nganzai resident Saleh Masida said.

Boko Haram fighters have been repeatedly attacking Nganzai district.

In September last year, the group killed eight people and stole livestock in two villages in the area after residents tried to stop them from taking their animals.

Boko Haram and its IS-supported ISWAP splinter have intensified attacks on civilian and military targets in recent months.

Late Thursday, Boko Haram fighters attacked a camp for displaced people outside Maiduguri, killing two residents and looting food supplies after burning a nearby military base.

Nasrat Rahimi, a front man for the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said the security forces killed the Taliban sharpshooter in Alisheng district.

Rahimi further added that the slain murderous Moslem was using sophisticated weapons to carry out attacks against the security forces.

Furthermore, Rahimi said the slain murderous Moslem had carried out numerous attacks and had martyred several security personnel.

The Taliban group has not commented in this regard so far.

The security situation in some districts of Laghman province has tanked during the recent months.

Talibs are active in some districts of province and often conduct terrorist related activities.

Casualties Reported Among Govt Forces In Ongoing Takhar Clashes
It would be lovely to discover which particular jihadis or dacoits are involved here.
[ToloNews] The festivities in Takhar’s Ishkamish district are ongoing for the past four days, officials said.
Takhar province can be seen in purple over on the top right of the map, between Badakhshan and Konduz.
At least 30 members of the pro-government forces were reportedly killed in the ongoing festivities in Ishkamish district in the northeastern province of Takhar.

The festivities started on July 24, according to local officials.

An MP from Takhar, Habiba Danish, said the festivities are still ongoing in Padarkosh, Qorugh, Jar Sharif and Khwaja Bandak Shah villages of Ishkamish district.

Takhar officials did not comment on the casualties but said the festivities are still ongoing.

The Defense Ministry front man Rohullah Ahmadzai said a clearance operation has started in the district that it will be cleared of murderous Moslems in the near future.

"In war, both sides suffer causalities. We accept that we had causalities there, but the enemy’s fatalities were many times higher than ours," Ahmadzai said.

Some Takhar residents who have been displaced to Kabul said that an illegal armed commander has occupied a few villages of Yang Qala district of Takhar and has disrupted law and order there.

"I want the murderer of my father to be punished. I went to the provincial governor, but he did not hear me. The governor said the commander has weapons and we cannot stop him," said Nizamuddin, a Takhar resident.

"He is bullying there. It is about three years that we complain against this man, but nothing happens," said Mohammad Rahim, a Takhar resident.

Civil aviation delegation inspects Sharm El-Sheikh Airport as resumption of charter flights within reach
[AlAhram] A delegation from Egypt's civil aviation ministry inspected Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport, as the country continues its efforts to attract tourists via charter flights previously suspended by several Europe

an countries since the crash of a Russian airliner in 2015.

The delegation praised all security measures implemented at the airport during their inspection of measures inside and outside of the airport, as well as perimeter fences and surveillance cameras.

The delegation said that the Sharm El-Sheikh airport is among the most vital in the country as it is a key tourist destination and continually hosts a number of regional and international conferences year round.

Egypt has been boosting security procedures at many of its airports in response to existing British and Russian ban on flights to this tourist hub since the Russian airliner crash over Egypt's Sinai which killed everyone on board.

Russian flights to and from Cairo were reestablished in April 2018, ending a suspension which lasted over two-and-a-half-years.The bans on flights like these have been hurting Sharm El-Sheikh economically, but Egypt hopes that with increased security measures all bans will be lifted.

Last week, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said he hopes that the final agreement on the resumption of charter flights to the airports of Egypt’s Hurghada and Sharm El-Sheikh will be reached in the near future.

"At the moment the work on the main airports serving tourists in the resort areas of Egypt - Sinai, Sharm El-Sheikh and Hurghada - is almost completed. We hope that in the near future final agreements on the resumption of flights, at least charter flights to these resorts, will be reached, " he said, according to Interfax.

Thousands defy police ban, march in Hong Kong district
[ARABNEWS] Thousands of protesters began marching Saturday in a Hong Kong district despite police warnings that their presence would spark confrontations with local residents.

Demonstrators wearing black streamed through Yuen Long, the area where a mob brutally attacked people in a commuter rail station last Sunday.

Police refused to grant permission for Saturday’s procession, citing a high-security risk. But protesters still moved forward in a show of defiance against the unknown assailants who beat dozens of people while wearing white in opposition to the pro-democracy movement’s trademark black.

The streets of Yuen Long became a sea of umbrellas as the march kicked off in the afternoon. A symbol going back to the Occupy Central protests that shook Hong Kong in 2014, umbrellas have become tools to help protesters conceal their identities from police cameras as well as shields against tear gas and pepper spray.

A few hours before the march began, a man was arrested in Yuen Long for hurting another with a knife, Hong Kong police said. The man is suspected of common assault.

Massive demonstrations began in Hong Kong last month against an extradition bill that would have allowed suspects to face trial in mainland China, where critics say their rights would be compromised. The bill was eventually suspended, but protesters’ demands have grown to include direct elections, the dissolution of the current legislature and an investigation into alleged police brutality in the Chinese territory.

Iraq discovers mass grave of Kuwaiti captives in Muthanna
Muthanna (IraqiNews.com) ‐ Iraqi authorities announced on Saturday the discovery of a mass grave believed to be containing remains of Kuwaiti captives, who were executed by the former regime of Saddam Hussein in Muthanna governorate.

In a blurb carried by the Arabic-language Alghad Press website, Governor of Muthanna Ahmed Jouda said that local security and intelligence forces received information on the presence of a mass grave containing remains of Kuwaiti captives killed by Saddam’s regime in the governorate desert.

He noted that the local authorities informed competent authorities to take legal action to confirm the discovery.

The International Committee of the Red Thingy (ICRC) has recently found some remains of suspected Kuwaiti victims in the desert of Muthanna, and took DNA samples to identify the bodies.

Kuwaiti authorities have indicated that the human remains will be locally re-examined for final authentication.

India: Muslims plotted to poison food offered in Hindu temple that is consumed by at least 40,000 devotees
[JihadWatch] Jihad poisoning plots are not new. Al-Qaeda has long considered the contamination of food as a jihad mass murder tactic. And in 2017, the Islamic State called on Muslims to poison food in Western supermarkets

The Maharashtra anti-terror squad has foiled a plot by terrorists to poison the ‘mahaprasad' of the famous Mumbreshwar Mahadev temple in Thane district. A terror suspect named Talha Potrick has hatched the conspiracy to poison the prasad.

The Maharashtra ATS got the information about the plot during the questioning of 10 suspects, who allegedly had links with dreaded terrorist group Islamic State. The information was furnished by the ATS in the chargesheet against them filed on Monday.

According to the chargesheet, an attempt was made to poison the prasad during ‘Srimad Bhagwat Katha', which was organised at the 400-year-old temple in December 2018. However, they could not succeed in their attempt.

The ATS has also claimed that the arrested suspected were in touch with Zakir Naik.

The day when the suspects planned to poison the prasad, it was consumed by at least 40,000 devotees. The suspects intended to cause heavy casualty by putting their plan in action….

#1  All members of the Ummat-e-Mohammaddiya, inspired by professional froth spewer Zakir Naik, four sasquatches are the primary element of the group that planned the poisoning. Additionally, they had planned to poison lakes and Mumbai waterworks in several places, with the drinking water supply of a the metro areas as a target.

Potrick is the second sasquatch from the left.

The main guy is the first bastardo in the pic, Abu Kital AKA Jamman Nawab Khuttepad. A pharmacist, he obtained the chemicals to make the poison. The rest of the arrested are Abu Hamza - team leader and local Daesh go-between, Fahad Ansari - travel and forgery facilitator, Mohsin Khan alias Abu Marya, Mohammad Takky Khan alias Abu Khalid, Atai Waris Abdul Rashid Shaikh alias Mazhar, Salman Khan alias Abu Ubeda - provided quarters and accomodation, Mushahed Ul-Islam, and a minor who took messages and ran errands. So many pointless fucking aliases, even a graduate jail psychologist can deduce they're severely lacking in the self-esteem department. We have had Hamza and Kital in MI custody for some hours now, thanks to some enlightened brass and the new defmin at Delhi, who was until recently the home(interior) min.

They were in touch with an ISIS handler from Syria. The plan was to flee India via Nepal & Bangladesh in groups of two after their 'signatures were acknowledged' by the ISIS handlers. This is Daesh-speak for when the bodies start rolling into casualties, the terror hits the news and daesh officially claims the action as their own, also announcing safe passage and membership for the fugitive wannabes wolves recruits with their new titles. This way they earn their place in the bloody thing, and the daesh makes sure they're not recruiting sad sacks not worth their froth.

Turkey says it 'neutralised' 34 PKK militants in air strikes on July 17-19

Sixteen gunnies were "neutralised" in air strikes on northern Iraq's Qandil region on July 17, and 18 in air strikes on the Karacak region on July 19, it said. The ministry commonly uses the term "neutralised" to refer to those killed but it can also refer to those maimed or captured.

The Defence Ministry said it had "neutralised" a total of 255 PKK gunnies in operations in northern Iraq since May 27, when Ankara launched an offensive there against the PKK.

Turkey frequently launches air strikes in the region but the latest campaign, dubbed "Operation Claw", has included artillery fire and ground operations.

Eastern air force strikes Misrata
[Libya Observer] Warlord Khalifa Haftar
...Self-proclaimed Field Marshal, served in the Libyan army under Muammar Qadaffy, and took part in the coup that brought Qadaffy to power in 1969. He became a prisoner of war in Chad in 1987. While held prisoner, he and his fellow officers formed a group hoping to overthrow Qadaffy, so it's kind of hard to describe him as a Qadaffy holdover. He was released around 1990 in a deal with the United States government and spent nearly two decades in the United States, gaining US citizenship. In 1993, while living in the United States, he was convicted in absentia of crimes against the Jamahiriya and sentenced to death. Haftar held a senior position in the anti-Qadaffy forces in the 2011 Libyan Civil War. In 2014 he was commander of the Libyan Army when the General National Congress (GNC) refused to give up power in accordance with its term of office. Haftar launched a campaign against the GNC and its Islamic fundamentalist allies. His campaign allowed elections to take place to replace the GNC, but then developed into a civil war. Morocco navy picks up 242 migrants in Mediterranean
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The Moroccan navy has picked up 242 migrants colonists from sub-Saharan Africa who were trying to cross the Mediterranean Sea to Spain in flimsy boats, the official MAP press agency reported late Friday.

It said the migrants colonists, including 50 women and 12 children, were rescued from several inflatable boats which had got into difficulty.

"The migrants colonists, some of whom were unwell, were taken safely to port," the news agency said.

So far this year, more than 15,000 such migrants colonists have made it to Spain, 12,000 by the sea route, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) estimates.

More than 200 have died in the attempt.

#1  That makes sense, of a sort. I guess...

The dissonance is understandable. It's really the bleak reality of Indian gummints. The preservation/forest authorities will take hours to get to the scene with their needles and funny looking pop rifles. In the mean time, you have an indignant mob with parents of children eaten or attacked by wildlife and no recourse.

The local authorities have vested interests in driving out forest dwelling communities so they can possess and sell the land cheap to friends of the ruling gummints, for mining, wood, constructions, etc. They will arrest a forest villager for peeing on a tree and call it 'illegal deforestation'.

Two Suspects Arrested In Herat On Spying Charges
[ToloNews] Herat
...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns...
governor’s front man said the suspects were arrested in different operations over the past year.

The Afghan cops arrested two suspects on charges of spying for regional countries, local officials said on Saturday.
By this arrest, the provincial governor’s front man Jailani Farhad, said the number of those arrested on spying charges reached eight over the past year.
The suspects were arrested from different parts of the province, including the central city, Herat, he said.

"The suspects have confessed to their ’crimes’," Jailani added.

Herat residents welcomed the move and said that working against Afghanistan’s interests should be counted as a crime.

"Those who spy and provide government’s confidential information to other countries should be treated the same as those who are fighting against our security forces on the battlefields," said Najib Marzban, a Herat resident.

"Such people should be punished in order to be a lesson for others," said Mirwais Omari, a Herat resident.

Syrian refugees in Turkey ‘detained’ and ‘forced’ to return to conflict zones
[ARABNEWS] Syrians are being “detained” and “coerced” to go back to their war-torn country by Turkish authorities, according to a report published by Human Rights Watch on Saturday.

“Turkey claims it helps Syrians voluntarily return to their country, but threatening to lock them up until they agree to return, forcing them to sign forms, and dumping them in a war zone is neither voluntary nor legal,” Gerry Simpson, associate Emergencies director at Human Rights Watch, said.
The alternative, since they clearly don’t want to keep them any longer, would be to send them on to Europe, which would cause other problems.
According to the report, Syrians are being coerced into signing forms saying they want to return to Syria, and then detained before they are sent back to conflict zones including Idlib and Aleppo, where more than 400,000 people already died in the armed conflict.

Although the Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu denied such claims, several Syrians testified to have experienced maltreatment from Turkish authorities, drawing criticisms from rights groups.

The UN High Commissioner for Refugees called on states not to “forcibly return Syrian nationals and former habitual residents of Syria,” and argues that asylum seekers “need international refugee protection.”

#1  This is a start : Alinsky's insurrectionist shit.

Two very critical ideas he introduced like a virus into the political give-and-take. Firstly, he word 'enemy', clearly dividing society into adversarial hostility over rigid ideologies where politics should entail uniting to cooperate and compromise for the best possible outcomes for the most people. The other was Ridicule, the 5th rule. Describing it he says it's super-powerful because it's irrational. In that, he injects irrationality into an activity that is concerned with life and death decisions of polity and law. Greater mischief has no man committed, I think.

Of course, many in the radical Right also draw inspiration from this shit, but they are the sort who having no root in themselves are drawn to 'whatever works'.

France tells Trump: Don’t mix digital taxes and wine tariffs
Is that likely to be effective?
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire said on Saturday La Belle France would proceed with its tax on the revenues of big technology firms and urged the United States not to bring trade tariffs into the debate on how to fairly raise levies on digital services.

"It’s in our interest to have a fair digital tax," Le Maire told news hounds. "Please do not mix the two issues. The key question now is how we can we get consensus on fair taxation of digital activities."

Top Taliban leaders including a foreign national killed in Special Forces raid in Paktika
Sadly we are given neither that foreign national’s name nor his nationality, and so will finish reading this article unsatisfied as well as incompletely informed.

The National Directorate of Security
...the Afghan national intel agency...
(NDS) in a statement said the NDS Special Forces conducted an operation against a gathering of Taliban in Khairbin Village of Yousuf Khel district in Paktika.

The statement further added that the Special Forces killed 13 Taliban group members including some of top leaders of the group and a foreign national.

Furthermore, the National Directorate of Security said the Special Forces killed Qari Khalid, Taliban’s military chief for Sharan, Sanaullah alias Obaida, the intelligence chief of Taliban for Sharan, Qari Ghairat, top Taliban commander leading a group of 32 Death Eaters.

The National Directorate of Security also added that Qari Ghairat was the brother of Zia ul Haq
...the creepy-looking former dictator of Pakistain. Zia was an Islamic nutball who imposed his nutballery on the rest of the country with the enthusiastic assistance of the nation's religious parties, which are populated by other nutballs. He was appointed Chief of Army Staff in 1976 by Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, whom he hanged when he seized power. His time in office was a period of repression, with hundreds of thousands of political rivals, minorities, and journalists executed or tortured, including senior general officers convicted in coup-d'état plots, who would normally be above the law. As part of his alliance with the religious parties, his government helped run the war against the Soviets in Afghanistan, providing safe havens, American equipiment, Saudi money, and Pak handlers to selected mujaheddin. Zia died along with several of his top generals and admirals and the then United States Ambassador to Pakistain Arnold Lewis Raphel when he was assassinated in a suspicious air crash near Bahawalpur in 1988...

Johnson tells EU: ditch the backstop or there will be no-deal Brexit
[AlAhram] British Prime Minister Boris Johnson cautioned the Europe
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
an Union on Saturday that the Irish backstop, which he said was undemocratic, needed to be ditched if they were to strike a Brexit divorce deal.
Johnson, since taking office on Wednesday, has repeatedly warned that if the EU continues to refuse to renegotiate the Withdrawal Agreement agreed by his predecessor, Theresa May, then he will take Britannia out on Oct. 31 without a deal.

His biggest demand is that the most hotly contested element of the Brexit divorce agreement - the Irish border backstop - be struck out of the Withdrawal Agreement, a demand that has angered Ireland and perturbed other EU capitals.

"If we get rid of the backstop, whole and entire, then we are making a lot of progress," Johnson said, when asked if it is was only the Irish border backstop that he wanted changed.

Speaking before a Stephenson's Rocket, a 19th century steam locomotive, in the northern England city of Manchester, Johnson dedicated most of his speech to improving public services, transport and the internet and driving up economic growth.

European leaders are prepared to talk with Britannia's new leader over Brexit but have so far insisted they will not reopen the Withdrawal Agreement. Many EU diplomats think the United Kingdom will hold a snap election soon.

Johnson said he did not want a no-deal Brexit, which investors fear will send shock waves through global markets and hurt the world's economy, but that the United Kingdom had to prepare for a no-deal.

Ireland is crucial to any Brexit solution, or any Brexit meltdown.

The backstop is an insurance policy designed to prevent the return of border controls along the 500 km (300 mile) land border between Ireland and Britannia's province of Northern Ireland that were ended by the 1998 Good Friday peace agreement.

Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar said the question of the unification of Ireland and Northern Ireland will inevitably arise if Britannia leaves the EU without a divorce deal on Oct. 31.

"The approach of the UK government is not going to be disengaged or aloof or waiting for them to come to us: we are going to try to solve this problem and we are going to do it in a spirit of friendship and cooperation," Johnson said.

"But we can't do it as long as that anti-democratic backstop, that backstop that seeks to divide our country, divide the UK, remains in place," he said. "We need to get it out and then we can make progress, I think."

The Withdrawal Agreement that May struck in November with the EU says the United Kingdom will remain in a customs union "unless and until" alternative arrangements are found to avoid a hard border.

Many British politicians oppose the prospect of being bound to EU rules and customs duties that would prevent Britannia doing its own trade deals and leave it overseen by EU judges.

#1  So let Ireland stay in the EU, tell Varadkar to go eff himself, and then brexit. Trump has already said you can count on him for favorable trade arrangements. What's so difficult about this ? Let Ireland strike out on their own.

I figure this 'backstop' nonsense is only to obfuscate the issue that they cannot brexit come Oct or whatever. The british people are in for a ride. He's nothing like Trump, the Gary Busey fan club ticket notwithstanding.

The Federal Government has obtained a court order to proscribe the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, popularly known as Shiite.

Shiite members have been demanding the release of their leader, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, and his wife, Zeenah, who were arrested after a clash with the Army in Zaria.

Will Pakistain also get a slice of the moon? That depends upon the quality of our scientists and if a culture of science develops. Of course, Pakistain never had a Nehru. A further setback happened in the Zia ul Haq

Iraq
Erbil security pursue 7th suspect wanted in Turkish diplomat killing
[Rudaw] The Kurdistan Region Security Council (KRSC) is urging people on Saturday to assist and inform security (Asayesh) authorities if they have any knowledge for the whereabouts of a seventh suspect believed to be involved in the killing of a Ottoman Turkish Consulate General employee earlier this month.

"... Siyako Baqi Abdulkarim, who is wanted by the security agencies of the Kurdistan Region, is accused of involvement in the July 17 terrorist attack of Erbil at which an employee from The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund...
's Consulate in Erbil and two other citizens bit the dust," read a KRSC statement released by Kurdistan CT on Facebook on Saturday.

The KRSC is comprised of an umbrella group of security, intelligence, counterterrorism, and other agencies in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region. It did not provide any further identifying details such as age or nationality.

"We are calling on our beloved citizens that whoever has information on him, call the security agencies as soon as possible," the KRSC urged.

The call from the KRSC comes a day after they released video confessions of six suspects admitting involvement in this month's killing of Osman Kose.

Siyako was mentioned as a suspect, but security officials at the time did not reveal his possible whereabouts or if were tossed into the calaboose or arrested over the past 10 days.

The Kurdistan Region Security Council (KRSC) released video showing CCTV footage of the incident inside HuQQabaz restaurant and a video confession of the primary suspect, Mazlum Dag (Mazlum Mohammed Zaki).

"My name is Mazlum Mohammed Zaki. I was born in Diyarbakir in 1992. I came to Kurdistan in 2015 to work," Dag said.

He and five others ‐ three from the IKR and three Ottoman Turkish nationals ‐ were arrested by the security authorities in Erbil for their alleged collaboration. All said they had played various roles in the killing of Osman Kose, the employee at the Ottoman Turkish Consulate General in Erbil.

He said that another of his brothers also was active politically in Turkey and wanted to join the PKK in the mountains of Qandil in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region. Dag said he visited Qandil and joined the PKK through his brother, Ibrahim, who introduced him to an individual named Fatih (Botan).

"I stayed with them [PKK in Qandil] for about 26 days. During these 26 days, I became familiar with their lifestyle," Dag explained.

There, Dag says he learned to shoot: "Fatih had a corpse which we used for training." Then Dag says Fatih asked him to smuggle clothes and shoes from the Kurdistan Region to Qandil and agreed.

Confessions, even of those in jug, are frequently considered by courts as proof in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region of a suspect’s guilt in a crime.

The July 17 shooting took place at a Ottoman Turkish restaurant in the upmarket Empire complex in Erbil. Ottoman Turkish official Osman Kose and two Kurdish civilians died when three button men opened fire with pistols fitted with suppressors.

Turkey has begun "neutralizing" alleged planners of the incident in which the diplomat and two Kurdish civilians died. Ankara's actions are based on the premise that the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) was involved in the attack.

On Wednesday, senior PKK commander Bahoz Erdal denied the gang was involved in the "amateur" Erbil attack, but praised the perpetrators for killing a "blood sucker".

The PKK's armed wing People's Defense Force (HPG) said in a statement on Friday that they have no connection to the perpetrator.

The attack has been condemned by Kurdistan Region officials, foreign diplomatic missions, and by Turkey’s pro-Kurdish People’s Democratic Party (HDP), which called on the media and political opponents not to defame its MP Dersim Dag ‐ the sister of one of the suspects, Mazlum Dag.

Marine Arrested at Air Force Base Faces Military Charges
[Military.com] OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb. ‐ Military authorities say a detained Marine had firearms, a silencer, body armor and ammunition in his pickup truck when he tried to enter an Air Force base near Omaha.

The Omaha World-Herald reports that Pfc. Ali Al-Kazahg is charged with carrying a concealed weapon, communicating threats and other crimes. It's unclear whether he has an attorney. A Marine Corps spokesman says the 22-year-old Al-Kazahg is in custody in Hawaii, where he's assigned to the 3rd Marine Logistics Group.

Authorities say Al-Kazahg was on leave when he was stopped at an Offutt Air Force Base gate of May 31. Guards had spotted his name on a law enforcement notice of people considered capable of doing harm. The notice says he told another Marine that he would "shoot up" his battalion if he were disciplined for misconduct.
Back in June the Omaha World-Herald reported:
Al-Kazahg, 22, of Milford, a landing support specialist at the Hawaii base, has not been charged. The Naval Criminal Investigative Service is investigating.

Al-Kazahg ‐ who was home in Nebraska on leave ‐ was stopped in a pickup truck May 31 at Offutt’s StratCom gate after security guards there saw his name on a law enforcement watchlist of people judged capable of doing harm. A "be on the lookout" bulletin had been circulated across Nebraska a week earlier by a coalition of federal, state and local agencies tasked with monitoring security threats.

The bulletin quoted NCIS as reporting that al-Kazahg had previously made "suspicious statements" and been reported for "suspicious activity." It said he had previously "shown various people large amounts of cash" and an online order he had placed for body armor, magazines, weapons parts, holsters and medical supplies, all to be shipped to a Nebraska address.

The bulletin also cited a caution about al-Kazahg issued by the Lincoln Police Department in 2016 (before he enlisted in the Marine Corps) alleging that he was "dangerous, has an infatuation with guns and violent acts, and has a dislike for law enforcement."

Al-Kazahg had made no threats specific to Nebraska, the bulletin said.

Public records indicate that al-Kazahg lived in Milford, about 17 miles west of Lincoln. In 2017, he served on the Nebraska Children’s Commission’s Bridge to Independence Advisory Committee, which advises the state on policies to help kids in foster care transition to adulthood.

He joined the Marines on Sept. 11, 2017. After boot camp in San Diego and additional training at Camp Pendleton in Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, and Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, he was assigned to Marine Corps Base Hawaii in August 2018. He is a member of the 3rd Marine Logistics Group, and his enlistment is up in 2021.

Al-Kazahg’s public social media posts indicate no obvious signs of anger or discontent. There are no mentions of politics or religion.

He has never posted on a four-year-old Twitter account in his name, which has just 10 followers
All NCIS and FBI
His Facebook and Instagram pages are private, though a cached copy of his Instagram page shows a number of photos of him posing with military weapons. His images also seem to convey pride in the Marines, his own personal fitness and his Husker heritage.
And a few days later the Omaha World-Herald reported his sister said:
“I truly believe my brother had zero intentions of hurting someone," said Nedhal al-kazahy, 20, who was a page in the Nebraska Legislature and now is a camp counselor for kids in foster care.

Al-kazahy, of Lincoln, told The World-Herald that her brother has been her best friend and protector as they navigated the Nebraska foster care system and launched their respective careers.

They have different last names, she said, because the spelling is inaccurate on her brother’s birth certificate.

Al-kazahy said that she and her brother are two of seven siblings born to Iraqi refugees. She and al-Kazahg were together for awhile in foster care, when they were about 5 and 7 years old, before they were split up in different homes.

Al-kazahy describes their parents as loving. Their mother, who al-kazahy said is deaf, remains in Nebraska and their father died about four years ago.

Her brother’s friend, Trevor Reilly described his friend as a little cocky, enthusiastic, competitive, not a person to back down. Reilly said he believed that al-Kazahg was getting harassed and taunted by people he worked with, in part because they assumed he was Moslem. (His sister said he is Christian.)
This looks like a more complicated situation than it originally appeared. May the truth quickly come out, the guilty punished and the innocent set free.

#1  It's really a little hard to understand. If you're a Marine, you know better than to try to enter a military base with personal weapons.

#2  No need to scratch our heads. No mystery here.

...his name on a law enforcement notice of people considered capable of doing harm. The notice says he told another Marine that he would "shoot up" his battalion if he were disciplined for misconduct.

Clearly the concept of rebellion and back-stabbing to him, means something other than what it does to us. NCIS reported that Al-Kazahg had previously made “suspicious statements” and been reported for “suspicious activity.” It said he had previously “shown various people large amounts of cash” and an online order he had placed for body armor, magazines, weapons parts, holsters and medical supplies, all to be shipped to a Nebraska address.

While this last and a vague NCIS "suspicion" doesn't really mean much these days, it's probably better to err on the side of caution and assume he's either radicalized or compromised "due to personal reasons".

It is the reason most non-islamic nations' special forces, nuclear command authorities and even higher judiciaries informally 'screen out' personnel on the bases of religious/ethnic compromizability, vetting even down to spouses and relationships. Needless to say, names with 'Al', 'Abu' and 'Ibn' as prefixes do NOT make the cut. At least where good sense prevails.

Afghanistan
Afghan-Taliban talks could happen within two weeks
[ARABNEWS] Direct talks between the Afghan government and the Taliban
...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
could begin in Norway within the next two weeks, officials and sources said Saturday, marking a potentially crucial step in efforts to end the war.

The Taliban have so far refused to speak to the government of President Ashraf Ghani
...former chancellor of Kabul University, now president of Afghanistan. Before returning to Afghanistan in 2002 he was a scholar of political science and anthropology. He worked at the World Bank working on international development assistance. As Finance Minister of Afghanistan between July 2002 and December 2004, he led Afghanistan's attempted economic recovery until the Karzais stole all the money...
, which they see as illegitimate, except for at a recent summit where Ghani officials attended in a "personal capacity."

"We are preparing for direct talks," said Abdul Salam Rahimi, the state minister for peace affairs, noting that the government would be represented by a 15-member delegation.

"We are working with all sides and hope that in the next two weeks the first meeting will take place in a Europe
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
an country."

He did not specify where the summit might take place, but diplomatic sources told AFP the talks were scheduled to begin in Oslo on August 7. The sources said the international community and the Afghan government were still awaiting word from the Taliban.

Ghani and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo agreed in a telephone call Wednesday that "now is the time to accelerate efforts to reach a negotiated end to the war in Afghanistan," according to a joint statement.

US peace envoy Zalmay Khalilzad, who is leading a push to forge a peace deal with the Taliban, has spent the past several days in Kabul, where he met with Ghani and US officials.

He is expected to fly to Doha next week for what would be an eighth round of direct US-Taliban talks. The two foes claim progress in reaching a deal that would end America’s nearly 18-year military involvement in Afghanistan.

Washington has said it wants to see a deal inked by September 1, but any deal requires the Taliban to talk to Kabul.

Muslims using social media platforms to create fake posts that implicate Christians in blasphemy cases
[JihadWatch] Islamic supremacist thugs "are increasingly using social media platforms to falsely implicate Christians in blasphemy cases by creating fraudulent posts. According to Open Doors USA, Facebook posts have become a new tool used by Islamic extremists to persecute Christians." They do it by hacking into Facebook accounts. It's a new way to persecute Christians, as is done in Pakistan, where some Muslims falsely accuse Christians of blasphemy, subjecting the Christians to mob lynchings, jail, or state execution.

Islamic extremists are increasingly using social media platforms to falsely implicate Christians in blasphemy cases by creating fraudulent posts.

According to Open Doors USA, Facebook posts have become a new tool used by Islamic extremists to persecute Christians.

In one case in Egypt, a 26-year-old Christian man named Fady Youssef Todary noticed someone had hacked into his Facebook account and posted a blasphemous message. Later, after realizing what had happened, he posted a video on the platform explaining to his followers that it wasn't him who produced the content.

But an angry mob of roughly 100 people had already formed and destroyed everything inside Todary's family home in Ashnin El-Nasara, a village in Minya, south of Cairo. Fady's parents were forced to flee their son's home and seek refuge at a relative's residence.

Just a few days later, Todary was arrested, along with his 19-year-old brother and two uncles. He has since been released but is awaiting trial on blasphemy charges.

Zoo keeper impregnate’s female orang, says it was consensual
[PULSE.NG] A 38-year-old zoo keeper was filmed in full action by a series of hidden cameras put in place by the zoo’s security officials after doubts emerged about the man’s devious actions towards the zoo animals.

"Some animals seemed sexually aroused when it was time to feed them" explains Akhiroel Yahya, employee of the zoo for 14 years.

"But what made us most suspicious was when we discovered Marylin, our oldest orangutan, was pregnant. She has never been in contact with any other orangutans because of her aggressive nature, so it didn’t make any sense" he said, visibly troubled by the news.

Confused zoo officials admitted that it took them sometime before being able to explain what had actually happened.

"At first, we clearly did not comprehend what had happened," admits the zoo’s director, Abdoel Hakim.

"Marilyn has been secluded for the past 10 years, it was a total mystery," he added.

"It is only when we placed several hidden cameras that we learned the horrible truth" he admits, visibly angered by the whole situation.

However,
a poor excuse is better than no excuse at all...
when confronted by local authorities, the offender denied any wrong doing on his part."He said everything he had done was consensual," explains police chief Abubakar Jaar. "He said he loved each and everyone of the animals and was very sorry he had impregnated the orangutan," he told local news hounds.

"He says he did not know orangutans could get pregnant from humans," he added.

If many experts believe the man could not have impregnated the female orangutan, some specialists claim a rare genetic predisposition could explain the unexplainable. "Contrary to popular belief, the orangutan species is much closer to the human species than chimpanzees. We share practically the same DNA code, with only minute differences, which could explain the orangutan falling pregnant from this man" explains Paleobiologist Bachtiar Pado Panghulu, of the University of Jakarta.

Particularly in Indonesia, the genetic profile of some of the population is extremely close to the orangutan species, leading us to believe they’re might have been a common ancestor to both species only a few hundred thousand years ago."
That is one explanation, certainly. Another is that Indonesia has long had a surplus of zookeepers. (Ick.)

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Britannia’s Conservative Party has opened up a 10-point lead over the opposition Labour Party after Boris Johnson took over as prime minister, an opinion poll published on Saturday showed.

The YouGov poll for the Sunday Times newspaper put Johnson’s Conservatives on 31%, up six percentage points from the previous poll, while Labour was on 21%, up two points.

The Liberal Democrats were down three points on 20% and the new Brexit Party, led by veteran eurosceptic Nigel Farage, was down four points on 13%.

Trump Calls Baltimore ‘Disgusting, Rat And Rodent Infested Mess’
[DAILYCALLER] President Donald Trump is not a fan of Baltimore, or the Democratic lawmaker that represents much of the city in Congress.

In a series of tweets on Saturday, the Republican described the Maryland metropolis as a “disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess” that is “a very dangerous & filthy place.”

Trump went on the diatribe during an attack on Maryland Rep. Elijah Cummings over the Democrat’s comments at a House hearing earlier this month with border patrol officials.

#2  Usually a result of pursing a political strategy of attracting votes rather than sustainable resources (labor and industry) for a tax base. Rewarding those who do not contribute (non-productivity) and punishing those who do (productivity) has been a fundamental that one party has pursued for generations.

#3  The truth hurts. Cummings is out of his element when he has to take criticism. Any criticism will always be in his mind racial.

Brazen Attacks Caught On Camera Around Baltimore, Reward Being Offered
[BALTIMORE.CBSLOCAL] Brazen attacks were caught on camera around Baltimore and police are asking the public for help in solving the crimes.

Video first obtained by WJZ shows the attack on a civilian employee of the Baltimore City Police Department, who was stomped on the head by a group of teens riding Lime scooters. The suspects continue to remain on the lam.

These videos are really disturbing but we wanted to show them to you so that someone out there can help solve this crime. It also shows the brutality. This employee gets kicked in the head, again and again.

This case is just one in a series of bold crimes that have happened in Baltimore city.

#1  And why is it, pray tell, that the president is wrong to blast Baltimore's leaders and congressmen for presiding over the creation of such an anarchic, violent, massively corrupt $hithole?

#5  #4 You would think that by this time, even a rat would have learned not to take the bait.

We're always sending Congresscritters on fact-finding missions to Paris or the French Riviera. How about a night-time fact finding mission to west Bmore?

No doubt he's making plans (among other things) to spend $2.5b in DoD money on the wall. His opponents are morons.
