#1 Frankly, the State Department could do little to advance regime change in Iran because the Mullahs need to be faced with an armed opposition. If an Anglo-American coalition executed a series of surgical strikes on Iran's nuke project site, that would give wings to the opposition. Present the Ayatollahs with a fait accompli that they can do nothing about, would paint a veneer of impotence over their rhetoric. Iran is not a tough nut to crack. May Day could be fun in Teheran, this year.

#2 And from the State Dept executive dining room menu especially for Ms. Cheney today, the chef's famous Cailles a la Vigneronne. Fresh fowl from Texas with all shot removed of course, hehehehe.
