#7 As long as Ms Hunter declares the payments to her on her income tax and the Edwards campaign and supporters declare their payment, I don't see what the legal problem would be.

On the other hand, it would be cool to see what the 1099-MISC forms say and whether tax was witheld.

#8 The Dems should be really pissed at Edward's because this could have blown up really bad if it came out later in the campaign.
