Judicial Watch: New Clinton Documents Raise Questions on Benghazi, Clinton Foundation
[Judicial Watch] Washington, DC -- Two days after Benghazi attack, Libyan president sought meeting with Bill Clinton through Clinton Foundation event.

Judicial Watch today released 276 pages of internal State Department documents revealing that within two days of the deadly terrorist attack on Benghazi, Mohamed Yusuf al-Magariaf, the president of Libya’s National Congress, asked to participate in a Clinton Global Initiative function and "meet President Clinton." The meeting between the Libyan president and Bill Clinton had not previously been disclosed. The documents also show Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s staff coordinated with the Clinton Foundation’s staff to have her thank Clinton Global Initiative project sponsors for their "commitments" during a Foundation speech on September 25, 2009.

The Judicial Watch documents were obtained as a result of a federal court order in a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed against the State Department on May 28, 2013, (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:13-cv-00772)).

In September 13, 2012, al-Magariaf advisor Dr. Fathi Nuah wrote to the Clinton Foundation’s Director of Foreign Policy Amitabh Desai: "Dr. Almagariaf will be addressing the United Nations this September in New York as the Libyan Head of State, and he expressed a wish to meet President Clinton and to participate at the Clinton Global Initiative meeting for New York as well."

Four hours later, Desai emailed Hillary Clinton’s Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills asking, "Would USG [U.S. Government] have concerns about Libyan President being invited to CGI [Clinton Global Initiative]? Odd timing, I know." Mills emailed back: "We would not have issues."

Four days later, on September 17, Desai emailed Mills again, saying, The Libyan president is "asking for a meeting with WJC [William Jefferson Clinton] next week." Desai asked, "Would you recommend accepting or declining the WJC meeting request?"
No, no problem at all. Our team has constructed a clever diversion using an anti-Mohammed filmmaker by the name of Nakoula. You'll be learning more about him in the Sunday Talks. We're hoping to delay any in-country investigation of the events in Benghazi. Our damage control people are quite adept. The blow-back should be minimal.
The State Department apparently had no objection to the meeting, because on September 26, Desai emailed Mills, "He had a v good meeting with Libya ..." Hillary Clinton and al-Magariaf did not have a meeting until September 24.

An August 2009 email chain including Hillary Clinton’s then- Chief of Staff Huma Abedin, Mills, then-Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Jake Sullivan shows that the State Department coordinated with Clinton Foundation staff on how Mrs. Clinton to thank Foundation supporters/partners for their "commitments." Mills asks Desai for a "list of commitments during whole session so she can reference more than those just around her speech."

'The man in white' is still on run'
[DAILYMAIL.CO.UK] One of the Brussels bombers left a suicide note telling how he was desperate to blow himself up because he did not want to go to prison like his friend, Gay Paree bomber Salah Abdeslam, Belgium's chief prosecutor revealed today.

Ibrahim El Bakraoui, who helped kill 14 people when he set off his boom jacket at Brussels airport yesterday, left the will in the bin of the terror cell's Schaerbeek safehouse.

The typed note, found next to 15kg of homemade explosives, an AK-47 and an ISIS flag, said: 'I don't know what to do. I'm in a hurry. I'm on the run. People are looking for me everywhere. And if I give myself up then I'll end up in a cell.'

The latest twist came after Belgian brothers Ibrahim and Khalid El Bakraoui were named as two of the ISIS jacket wallahs - eight days after they escaped police in a shootout - and it is now clear there is a mystery fourth suicide bomber.
Meanwhile,
...back at the game, the Babe headed for second base. He almost made it. Then Sheila slapped him....
Brussels master bombmaker Najim Laachraoui - known as the 'Man in White' - is still on the run today after evading a series of special forces raids following the deadly attacks which killed 34 yesterday.

Belgium's chief prosecutor this afternoon confirmed is 'still on the lam' after Belgian media reported the explosives expert was taken alive by a SWAT team inside a pizzeria in the Anderlecht suburb of the city.

The latest twist came after Belgian brothers Ibrahim and Khalid El Bakraoui were named as two of the ISIS jacket wallahs - eight days after they escaped police in a shootout - and it is now clear there is a mystery fourth suicide bomber.

Laachraoui is suspected of rigging up the boom jackets that helped kill 34 in twin attacks yesterday - and is believed to have done the same for the Gay Paree turbans who murdered 130 in November.

He went on the run after leaving a suitcase packed with explosives and calmly walked from the terminal moments before the airport massacre at 8am Tuesday. Today federal prosecutor Frederic Van Leeuw said it was the largest of all the bombs but it failed to go off.

Minister: Brussels bombings did not wake up Europe
[ISRAELNATIONALNEWS] Energy Minister Yuval Steinitz (Likud) on Wednesday morning warned that if Europe hopes to defeat the Islamist terror attacking it, it must change.
"All we have to do is make sure the Visigoths have job security..."
Speaking to Army Radio about the lethal Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS) bombings in Brussels the day before in which 34 people were murdered, he said, "if Europe wants to fight terror, and it is not fighting terror, it has to change."
"It's easy to fear the Ostrogoths. They have those fur vests and helmets and axes. But they have families, just like us!"
"The terror threatens the entire non-Muslim world, the entire Western world - us, Europe, the United States," he said.
"Gauls and Franks can learn to get along..."
Steinitz expressed his disappointment that "Europe didn't wake up. Because what we heard from Europe yesterday is the response: 'we won't change.' We should have heard: 'we will change.' The response of the European Union
...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing...
was: 'we will not give up on our values,' and that's completely fine, but basically, the subtext is 'we will stay as we were.'"
"Terrorism knows no religion!"
"Europe cannot make do with just policing and preventative steps. It must fight terror with active intelligence, to a large extent like we are doing (in Israel), by investing resources with a minimal harm to the freedom of the individual, the right to privacy and the rights of the citizen."
"No! Never! All you need is love! Ya-ta-ta-ta-ta! Al you need is love, babe! Love is all you need!"
He suggested that Europe begin by targeting the sources of incitement in the continent, by "closing mosques, arresting imams who incite to terror and hatred against non-Muslims."
"Our laws protect the Vandals, whether the Vandals obey our laws or not!"
Secondly, he called for the immediate implementation of a control system for gathering intelligence which "has a certain aspect of intelligence breaching into the domain of the individual."
"Of course they don't hate us! That's a very racist comment!"
"They still haven't established in Europe organizations like the FBI and the Shabak (Israeli Security Agency), which monitor the state internally in order to prevent these kinds of groupings and to nip them in the bud," he said regarding the terror cells.
"If you're going to have freedom of assembly it's got to include freedom to conspire. We have emergency services to treat the maimed and bury the dead and then we can catch the perpetrators, put them on trial, and give them hefty suspended sentences."
Steinitz said Israel "has a lot to contribute to Europe. Unfortunately we have dozens of years of experience. We don't have absolute success - we did not succeed in wiping out the terror, but we have great success. We succeeded in preventing it from becoming a lot more significant."
"Help? From Israel? That shity little state? We'd rather die!"
He said the terror in Europe and the terror attacks plaguing Israel are two sides of the same coin.
"Just because they employ the same rhetoric and the same tactics doesn't mean they're the same!"
"This is a stream with different factions. Here they emphasize more the need to 'liberate Paleostine,' there they emphasize attacking the crusaders, the Christians and eventually reaching the Islamization of Europe."
"See? Two entirely different goals! Nothing in common!"
"It all stems from the same worldview that posits: Islam is supreme, Islam needs to rule, there is no place for infidels. For radical Islam we, the Europeans and also moderate Muslims are the infidels," he concluded.
"Never! It's worth three dozen dead and a couple hundred maimed to remain the Europe we are! We do not need testicles!"

Third Brussels airport bomber captured - or was he?
[ISRAELNATIONALNEWS] Belgian media reported the third terrorist who took part in the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS) bombing of a Brussels airport on Tuesday was caught on Wednesday, but after local media later contested the version of events, officials clarified the terrorist remains on the lam.

The terrorist, identified by authorities as Najim Laachraoui, is said to have been wanted by police ever since the ISIS attacks in Gay Paree last November in which 130 victims were murdered.

RTL and Le Derniere Heure reported he was placed in durance vile
Drop the rosco, Muggsy, or you're one with the ages!
by special forces in Anderlecht, a suburb to the southwest of Brussels. However,
the hip bone's connected to the leg bone...
La Libre Belgique and DH later indicated police did not arrest Laachraoui, and that someone else was arrested instead and misidentified.

The confusion was later clarified by Belgian prosecutors in a presser at midday, when they revealed the terrorist was not apprehended and is still loose. They also confirmed that he planted a bomb at the airport which failed to detonate, and that it was the most powerful of the three.

Laachraoui was caught on security cameras Tuesday morning arriving with jacket wallahs Khalid and Brahim El Bakraoui at the Zaventem Airport in Brussels.

He walked around the airport with them as the three pushed baggage carts, and then left after setting an explosive that failed to detonate.

The El Bakraoui brothers conducted twin suicide kabooms, and a total of 34 people were murdered in their attack as well as in an additional bombing an hour later at the Maalbeek metro station located right near the EU headquarters. Around 200 other victims were maimed.

Laachraoui is thought to have been the bomb maker for the assault on Brussels.

The 25-year-old has been wanted under his alias Soufiane Kayal since the Gay Paree attacks, after his DNA was found alongside that of the faceless myrmidons who conducted the attacks at a safe house where suicide belts and traces of explosives were found. He rented a hide-out in Auvelais, Belgium, where the ISIS cell prepared for the attacks in the French capital.

Belgium is currently observing three days of national mourning. The US on Wednesday issued travel warnings on Europe, advising that terror groups are planning more attacks in the near future according to intelligence information.

Home Front: WoT
Yes, America, it's war. Here's how we can stop losing and start winning
BLUF: [Fox News Kathleen Troia "KT" McFarland]

Our strategy needs:

- An economic component that bankrupts radical jihad by cutting off their oil revenues - attacking their oil fields, refineries and tankers -- while we also develop our own resources to be energy independent of Arab oil.

- A banking component that uses the US primacy in international banking and finance to freeze out any country or company that does business with radical Islamists from ISIS to Boko Haram.

- An alliance component that draws together moderate Muslims into an alliance against radical Islam. If they’re reluctant to join an anti-Islamist alliance, we should let them know they shouldn’t come running to us if things don’t work out. We should call them out if they have some in their inner circles that play both sides.

And we may have to hold our noses and partner with countries we do not always approve of, as we did during World War II.

- An anti-hostage component -- we will not negotiate, exchange prisoners with nor pay ransom to terrorists. If you take our people hostage, we will turn the tables on you and put a very large bounty on your heads. We promise to hunt down kill anyone who kills our citizens, no matter now long it takes.

- A communications component which champions western values, like we had during WWII and the Cold War. Violent radical Jihad and western civilization are NOT morally equivalent. No apology tour, no comparing the Crusades to ISIS. Be proud of America or be quiet.

- An Internet component that blocks their online recruiting and training efforts and uses metadata to track and destroy terrorist leaders.

- A religious and ideological component which applauds moderate Muslim leaders -- like Egyptian President Sisi and the Grand Imam of Al Ahzar Mosque- who speak out against radical Islam.

- And finally, a military component which does not, repeat does not, require thousands of American combat forces, but rather gives our allies every inducement and all the arm twisting necessary so they put their own boots on the ground. And which supplies them with whatever they need to do the job

#6  In August 1988 Al Qaeda was formed in Afghanistan and its members then declared war on the West. A decade later AQ and its satraps met in Afghanistan and specifically declared war on the USA. In effect, for more than a quarter-century dedicated Islamists have been at war with us while our political leaders and the catamites that inhabit Foggy Bottom have dithered and refused to acknowledge that we are at war with a committed enemy.

2. Remove any tax-exempt status from Mosques and consider them under whatever tax laws cover political organizations. Tax the crap out of them.

3. Let the Saudi's know that the West is at a breaking point and Mecca is likely to be targeted if they don't stop funding Jihad-encouraging mosques around the world. If they ignore the threat carpet bomb the empty roads into Mecca and destroy the ports that service haj. If that message is ignored carry through with threats against Mecca or the Royals.

#10  That whole boots on the ground thing is going to be interesting. Relatively few of the countries in the region are into that. Egypt is pretty good about putting its army to work, the Kurds will fight to the death, and Saudi-controlled Arabia just demonstrated that it could get something done in Yemen. But Iraq, Afghanistan, Tunisia, Lebanon, and so on just don't have the ability, martial ardor, and willingness to come together to defend flag and country.

And let's not even mention first world countries that have no excuse, like Germany, Belgium and Italy. If Belgium won't fight Islamic terror, why should we expect the Libyans to do so?

So the notion that we'll give our allies 'every inducement' to fight on their own against terrorism is likely to come up short.

Dodgy DNC chair not sure if the Hildebeest would talk to FBI
[Examiner] The chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee indicated on Monday that she was not sure if Hillary Clinton would be willing to speak with the Federal Bureau of Investigation if the agency sought an interview.

"Those are questions you'd have to ask each of Hillary Clinton and anyone associated with Hillary Clinton," Schultz said when asked about the possibility on Fox Business. "I'm doing my job as a member of Congress, first and foremost, representing my district, and making sure we can get ready while this primary is unfolding, to make sure we can launch our nominee from Philadelphia," she said, referencing the site of the upcoming Democratic national convention.

North Korea troops fighting in Syrian civil war, delegate says
[UPI] GENEVA, Switzerland, March 22 -- Two North Korean military units are fighting on behalf of President Bashar al-Assad in the Syria conflict.

Asaad Al-Zoubi, the head of the Syrian opposition's High Negotiations Committee delegation, told Russian news agency TASS that North Koreans have committed troops to the civil war. According to Al-Zoubi, the two units are called Chalma-1 and Chalma-2. The Syrian delegate provided the information as he attended Syria peace talks at the United Nations European headquarters in Geneva.

Al-Zoubi added there are fighters from Iran and Afghanistan fighting on behalf of Assad.

Russia's Sputnik International also confirmed the Syrian representative's statement on North Korean soldiers in the Middle East, and quoted Al-Zoubi as saying the "North Korean troops are fatally dangerous" during an explanation of the presence of foreign troops in the Syrian civil war.

The civil war has continued for five years, and the opposition and the Assad regime are at odds regarding the details of a peace negotiation.

But Pyongyang maintains friendly ties with the dictatorship in Damascus, and Russia has supported Assad's rule.

North Korea's presence in the Middle East conflict is unprecedented, but the two countries have cultivated military ties for many years. North Korea has been a staunch ally of the Syrian government of Bashar al-Assad, opposed by the Islamic State, and Pyongyang helped Syria build a nuclear facility destroyed by an Israeli air raid in 2007.

Last September Syria dedicated a park to former North Korean leader Kim Il Sung.

Security experts call Donald Trump’s response to the Belgium attacks ‘preposterous’
[WASHINGTONPOST] Appearing on Fox News to discuss the attacks in Belgium, Michael Chertoff, who was the secretary of homeland security in the George W. Bush administration, labeled the candidate’s ideas "preposterous."

"First of all, we have a much, much tougher refugee program than the Europeans have," Chertoff said. "The problem the Europeans have is people showed up on their doorstep -- hundreds of thousands, coming directly from the region. That does not happen in the U.S. We check people very carefully before we admit them as refugees."
How about the 11 million refugees from Mexico and Central America?
"The idea that you can identify people who are a risk based upon their religion or the way they look is completely fallacious. It’s like going after cancer with a meat axe instead of a scalpel."
When the scalpel doesn't work, and just as importantly when you're not willing to use a scalpel, someone's going to start thinking that the meat axe is an appropriate tool...
During an appearance on MSNBC, terrorism expert Malcolm Nance said Trump’s "bluster" in the wake of Tuesday’s attacks was hampering U.S. intelligence and the armed forces.

"Donald Trump right now is validating the cartoonish view that they [Islamist turban groups] tell their operatives and that they tell their terrorists," Nance said. "That the United States is a racist nation, xenophobic, anti-Muslim, and that that’s why you must carry out terrorist attacks against them."

Nance said that type of rhetoric is detrimental to global counterterrorism missions.

"There are intelligence officers right now that are going to have to contend with their partners over what’s being said during the U.S. presidential race," he told MSNBC. "It’s irresponsible, and it needs to stop."
Contend? I'll bet there's a fair bit of agreement at the lower levels...

The problem is that in order to win this competition the West will have to prove to the Muslims that it is a better servant, and a better tool with which to enforce the will of Muslims than the terrorists would be.

IOW the West must submit to Muslims in order to win.

Breakaway Taliban group denies its leader detained in Pakistan
[CHANNELNEWSASIA] The leader of a breakaway faction of the Taliban is leading his fighters in Afghanistan, his deputy said on Tuesday, contradicting three senior members of the Islamist group and denying a newspaper report that he were tossed into the calaboose.

Three senior Taliban told Rooters that Mullah Mohammad Rasoul
...Leader of a rival faction of the Afghan Taliban. He's probably not long for this world.....
, who leads a faction that has rejected the authority of the Islamist movement's leader, Mullah Mohammad Mansour, were tossed into the calaboose two weeks ago in Balochistan
...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it...
province on the border between Pakistain and Afghanistan.

Pakistain's Express Tribune newspaper said that Rasoul was being held by Pak authorities. Quoting two unnamed Taliban leaders, the newspaper said Rasoul was held in Pakistain after fleeing Afghanistan following heavy fighting in recent months with forces of Evil loyal to Mansour.

Rasoul's deputy, Mullah Abdul Manan Niazi, dismissed the report as "propaganda of our enemies" and two Pak security officials also denied the report.

"Mullah Rasoul is in Afghanistan and leading his fighters," Niazi said. But he added that his group's survival did not depend on one leader.

"Our resistance will not stop with the arrest or killing of Mullah Rasoul or any other leader," Niazi said.

The mixed reports add a further twist to the opaque nature of the leadership of the Taliban, who control or threaten more Afghan territory than at any time since their hard-line government was toppled in 2001.

Lawyer says gunman fired at hostages in Sydney cafe, but missed
[Indian Express] The man behind a deadly siege at a Sydney cafe fired at some of the hostages as they escaped but missed, possibly because of his limited experience with guns, an inquest heard on Tuesday.

Self-declared Muslim holy man Man Haron Monis took customers and staff at the upmarket Lindt cafe hostage on December 15, 2014, bringing the Martin Place financial district in Australia’s largest city to a standstill.

As the siege dragged on into the early hours of December 16, he became more erratic. When six hostages ran for a door he fired his shotgun, an act which was seen as a warning shot at the time.

"It now appears that although his shot missed, the very strong inference is that Monis was shooting at the hostages," counsel assisting the inquiry, Sophie Callan, told the inquest.

"The fact that he missed by some margin is consistent with him having limited experience with guns and with the difficulty of aiming his sawn-off shotgun, plus the suddenness of the escape."

The inquest was told that police had hoped to "contain and negotiate" with Monis, who was armed with the gun and thought to have a bomb in his backpack. It was later discovered to be fake.

Monis, who had asked police for an Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not really Moslems....
flag but was refused, held the hostages for some 17 hours -- over which time five escaped, including two without his notice.

By the time the six others ran for their lives at 2:03am on December 16, he still had not hurt anyone.

But not long afterwards, he ordered cafe manager Tori Johnson, 34, to get on to his knees and put his hands on his head. Minutes later he shot him dead.

The shooting prompted tactical police to storm the building. Monis and hostage Katrina Dawson, a 38-year-old barrister and mother-of-three, were killed in the firing.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Assyrian leader accuses PYD of monopolizing power
[ARA News] QAMISHLI – Since it started to control much swathes of territory in Syria’s north and northeast, the Kurdish forces of the People’s Protection Units (YPG) and its political leadership of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) have been major powers in the region, especially after expelling the radical group of Islamic State (ISIS) from key cities and towns. However, many Kurds, Arabs and Assyrians accuse this force of usurping power in Syria’s Kurdish region of Rojava.

Johnny Misso, head of the Assyrian World Council (AWC) on Tuesday accused the Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD) of monopolizing power in areas under the control of the People’s Protection Units (YPG) in northern Syria.

“We have released an urgent call to the Human Rights Council about the violations committed against Assyrians in Syria,” Misso said in a press statement.

“Thousands of Assyrians living in northern Syria are exposed to attacks by the PYD-linked YPG forces,” he said.

“On January 12, the YPG forces attacked the Assyrian Protection Forces (Suturo) in the city of Qamishli, northeastern Syria, killing one of its members,” Misso stressed.

The Assyrian leader pointed out that the PYD continues to escalate tension in the region, rather than proposing solutions to the crisis, “as it undermines the ongoing peace efforts between the opposition and the Syrian regime, beside threatening the unity of the Syrian territory.”

According to Misso, the PYD monopolizes power and subdues Assyrians in the federal system announced by the group in Syria’s north and northeast.

“PYD ignores the national and international law, threatening the security of the local population, including Assyrians through its separatism aspirations,” he said.

On 17 March, the PYD and its Arab allies announced a Democratic Federal System for Rojava and Norhern Syria in a two-days conference in the oil-rich town of Rumelan, appointing Hediya Yousef, a Kurd, and Mansur Selam, an Arab, as co-leaders, after those parties were excluded from the Geneva talks.

However, speaking to ARA News in Qamishli, Sanharib Barsoum, leader of the Assyrian Union Party (AUP), said: “The recently declared federal democratic system for Rojava and Norhern Syria is a guarantee for the rights of all components of the region, including the Assyrians.”

In March 2015, several Syrian human rights organizations released an urgent call to the international community to intervene and stop the attacks of the Islamic State group (IS/ISIS) on the Assyrian villages in the countryside of Tel Temir in Hasakah province, in northeastern Syria. The Kurdish YPG forces had played a major role in liberating the Assyrian areas after fierce battles against ISIS.

“Thousands of Assyrian civilians in the Nineveh Plain in Iraq have been displaced, but no one cared about them,” Barsoum said, pointing out that the Assyrian minority in Syria is facing a similar destiny.

In early 2015, ISIS launched major offensive on several Assyrian villages near Tel Temir in the western countryside of Hasakah, abducting hundreds of Assyrian civilians. Months later, the Kurdish YPG forces, with the support of allied Arab and Christian groups, were able to liberate the whole countryside of Hasakah from the radical group.

Hamas stages military exercises to test Gaza readiness
[IsraelTimes] Drills involving 1,000 police, emergency service personnel aren’t ‘announcement of war,’ official in the Strip says

Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, staged major military exercises Tuesday to test its readiness in the event of another Israeli offensive on the Gazoo Strip, which has been ravaged by three wars since 2008.

The exercises involving 1,000 police and emergency services personnel were not meant to be seen as an "announcement of war," said a front man for the Islamist movement’s interior ministry.
According to the rules of hudna, there needn't be an announcement when the Muslim party restarts the war. So this makes perfect sense.
For the duration of the exercises, however, a state of emergency was observed in Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahiya, bordering Israel in the north, and Jabaliya farther to the south.

The media was barred from approaching the area, but loud kabooms could be heard from a distance, with hospitals and schools placed on alert.

Israel arrests 1,200 unauthorized Palestinians workers
[IsraelTimes] Detentions come following Knesset’s approval of tough new law to keep out illegals amid ongoing terror wave

Israeli police said Tuesday that they had locked away
Please don't kill me!
1,200 Paleostinian workers without permits, under a crackdown aimed at helping to quell a five-month wave of violence.

The unauthorized workers were detained along with 150 employers over the past two weeks, a police statement said.

On March 14 the Knesset approved a tough new law to keep out illegal Paleostinian workers, as part of measures aimed at tackling a surge in attacks against Israelis.

The legislation means that the Israeli employer of a Paleostinian who has entered the Jewish state without the hard-to-obtain permit could face several years in prison.

In the nearly six months of the ongoing wave of terrorism and violence, 29 Israelis and four foreign nationals have been killed in Paleostinian attacks. Nearly 190 Paleostinians have also been killed, some two-thirds of them while attacking Israelis, and the rest during festivities with troops, according to the Israeli army.

An Israeli government adviser said this month that of the attacks in Israel, 44 percent were carried out by Paleostinians who were in the Jewish state illegally.

34 dead, more than 200 maimed in Brussels attack
  • [FRANCE24] Two explosions tore through the departure hall at Brussels Zaventem airport, killing 11 people.

  • About an hour after the airport attack, an explosion struck Maelbeek metro station near the EU headquarters, killing at least 20 people.

  • The Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for the attacks.

  • Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel has condemned the “blind, violent and cowardly acts”, calling it a “black day” for the country.

  • The Belgian government has raised the terror threat to the highest level.

  • Brussels is in a state of lockdown with all transportation services, including metros, trains and bus services suspended. Zaventem airport has been shut down and flights have been diverted.

  • The blasts come days after Paris attacks suspect Salah Abdeslam was arrested in the Molenbeek district of the Belgian capital.
But y'all just keep writing "Love" and "Terrorism knows no religion" on your sidewalks. That'll control the problem.

Trump is so stoopid! "Islam hates us?" How could he think that?

Obama: Cuba’s Revolution, Like America’s, Was a ‘Liberation Movement’
[NATIONALREVIEW] resident Obama told the Cuban people this morning the Communist revolution that brought the Castros to power was a “liberation movement,” just like America’s own revolution.

”Here’s my message to the Cuban government and the Cuban people,” Obama said. ”The ideals that are the starting point for every revolution, America’s revolution, Cuba’s revolution, the liberation movements around the world, these ideals find their truest expression, I believe, in democracy.”

“Not because American democracy is perfect,” he emphasized, ”but because we’re not, and we like every country need the space that democracy gives us to change. Many suggested that I come here and ask the people of Cuba to tear something down, but I’m appealing to the young people of Cuba who will lift something up, build something new.”

Hospital attackers sought as Thai insurgency continues
[The Nation] Thai security officials surrounded and searched three locations in their search for insurgents in Narathiwat province. One of the places searched was the house of the wife of Sunkiffi Mana, a militant suspect who allegedly took part in the siege of Joh I Rong Hospital on March 13, when the hospital was used as a base to attack a nearby military camp. After the attack, one suspect was arrested in Narathiwat's Muang District.

Meanwhile, insurgents on Monday night sprayed three neighboring karaoke bars with bullets in Narathiwat's Tak Bai district. They also threw a homemade bomb into one of the businesses, causing damage to its roof and wall. The attackers then fled the scene. Three people were wounded.

Police avoided the area immediately after the incident, fearing the militants would spring a trap on those who responded to the attack. When police did investigate the scene, they found 50 spent M16 cartridges. Tak Bai District superintendent Pol Colonel Jiradej Prasawang said the attack was the work of local militants in a retaliatory action after they had been targeted by security operations recently.

Christian convert stabbed to death in Bangladesh
[CHANNELNEWSASIA] Suspected Islamist forces of Evil stabbed a Christian convert to death in northern Bangladesh on Tuesday, the latest in a series of attacks on minorities in the Muslim-majority nation.

The South Asian country has seen a surge in Islamist violence in which liberal activists, members of minority Muslim sects and other religious groups have been targeted.

Police said three attackers came on a cycle of violence and stabbed Hossain Ali, 68, while he was having his morning walk in Kurigram, north of Dhaka.

"They left the scene exploding crude bombs to create panic," Kurigram district police chief Tobarak Ullah told Rooters by telephone.

Ali converted to Christianity from Islam in 1999, he added.

"We are not sure whether Islamist forces of Evil carried out the attack," he said, adding that the pattern of killing bore the hallmarks of recent attacks by Islamist Death Eaters.

Three men were picked up for questioning, he said.

Deadly feud bring chaos to Zawia
[Libya Herald] A blood feud between two Zawia families has resulted in a number of people being killed in the town, others fleeing for safety and the shops and offices closed their doors for the past two days.

The clashes started when a young man with his own armed group, named has been as named as Ibrahim Ahneish reportedly killed a young Moroccan woman who worked in a café. He is then alleged to have killed her former boyfriend, a member of the Khadrawi family, who was intent on revenge. His family also operates an armed gang. In the resulting fighting between the two families several people have been killed despite attempts to mediate a peace by local community elders. Among those killed in the fighting is said to be a 12-year old girl.

Various parts of central Zawia were affected, including Omar Mukhtar Street, Jamal Street and the fish market. Some residents fled for protection to the Wirshefana.

The town is now relatively quiet, but it is seen as a lull and shops remained closed today. Mediation by the elders has produced no peace deal. The Ahmeish family are reported to want to continue the fight.

Punties kill 167 Shaboobs in two counter-offensives
GAROWE, Somalia-The army has killed 167 terrorists in the course of two counteroffensives in Suuj valley and Dhinowda vicinity, Puntland Information Minister, Mohamud Hassan So’adde has announced on Tuesday.
Send a bottle of whatever they're drinking to Brussels...
So’adde disclosed at media briefing in the State capital, Garowe that 112 militants—among them a foreign national-- were killed in Dhinowda while the remaining 55 militiamen were neutralized in Suuj valley in clear triumph against the already beleaguered Al Shabaab terrorist group.

Puntland Defense Forces have also taken 106 fighters captive following a four-day counterterror raids in Suuj and areas perching near the Indian Ocean town of Garacad.

Continuing, the minister said, the death toll on Al Shabaab side could be far higher than the estimated figure since Puntland troops are still on the field in Mudug.

On Monday, Puntland forces blocked fleeing militants from retreating into Galmudug-controlled territories in Mudug region. An estimated 10 wounded fighters are believed to be on-the-run near Suuj.

The marine soldiers used speedboats to hit Al Shabaab militants harder in the coastal villages of Suuj and Garmaal.
Speedboats? I've seen that movie!
The government commenced cleanup operations in Garacad and Suuj on Mar. 15, a day after boatloads of Al Shabaab militants arrived by boats.

'My target is 100 children', says father of 35
[DAWN] QUETTA: Jan Muhammad, 43, is now father to 35 children after the recent births of two more children. Jan Muhammad has three wives who have given him 21 daughters and 14 sons.

"My target is 100 children," he tells Dawn.com.

The family of 39 lives in a mud-brick house located in a poor neighbourhood of Quetta.

By profession, Jan Muhammad is a doctor and trader. "Thank God, I am able to manage the growing expenditures of my family," he said. "I spend about Rs100,000 a month on family expenditures," he said.

Two of his wives gave birth to two daughters last week. The middle-class family celebrated the arrival of the newborns.

"We, the girls have outnumbered the boys," Shagufta Nasreen, the elder daughter of Jan Muhammad tells Dawn.com, smiling.

She said the population of women in Pakistain was already very high and her family was contributing to the increase in the number of girls.

The ages of children range from one-week-old to almost 16-years-old.

Jan Muhammad's family lives happily despite its increasing size. He challenges the established perception that "less family members lead to a happy life".

"My aim is to educate my kids as well," he said.

Audiences were first introduced to Jan Muhammad's family on DawnNews.

A video of his family was watched by over 3.3 million people on Facebook, who shared it over 175,000 times and commented on it 4,000 times.

Hillary Clinton: ‘No Evidence’ to Suggest Raising the Minimum Wage Kills Jobs
[FREEBEACON] Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton
... sometimes described as America's Blond Eminence and at other times as Mrs. Bill, never as Another Tallyrand ...
claimed Tuesday there is "no evidence" to prove raising the minimum wage costs jobs.

"I also want to raise the minimum wage, and I support the effort here in Washington state to do that," Clinton said at a rally in Everett, Washington. "There is no evidence that the minimum wage being increased costs jobs, so I’m supporting what you’re trying to do here, and I want to raise it across the country."

Clinton favors a $12 per hour minimum wage, 20 percent less than the $15 an hour desired by socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders
...The only openly Socialist member of the U.S. Senate. Sanders was Representative-for-Life from Vermont until moving to the Senate for the rest of his life in 2006, assuming the seat vacated by Jim Jeffords...
(I., Vt.). Clinton herself acknowledged last year she was hesitant to support a $15 minimum wage "because there are different economic environments. And what you can do in L.A. or in New York may not work in other places."

Clinton also earlier expressed concern
...meaning the brow was mildly wrinkled, the eyebrows drawn slightly together, and a thoughtful expression assumed, not that anything was actually done or indeed that any thought was actually expended...
that raising the wage as high as $15 at the federal level could cause "job loss and dislocation." Tuesday, however, she said there was no proof to show raising the minimum wage could kill jobs.

#7  Poor Brussels. To refresh my memory, I checked the Belgium Wikipedia page, and was rewarded with the following information:

Following the June 2007 elections there was a problem putting together a new coalition to form a new government, so the previous government officially acted as a caretaker from Dec. 2007 - March 2008, charged with handling day to day running of the federal government, but forbidden to make any new decisions.

A new government was sworn in on March 20, 2008. For whatever reason, they offered their resignation on July 15, 2008, which the king refused, then resigned again in December 2008.

A new government was sworn in on Dec. 30, 2008, then resigned in Nov. 2009.

A new government was sworn in on Nov. 25, 2009, then resigned in April 2010, but agreed to stay on as caretaker -- again running the day to day needs of the government but making no new decisions -- until a new government formed following the upcoming elections in June 2010. It took until December 2011 for a new coalition government to be formed, a world record for a country to go without a proper government. The Belgians have much cause to be grateful that they live in a federation with much local self-governance, and not under a unitary national government, like France.

The election in 2014 resulted in a new government forming promptly, but there was a long period when none of the decisions necessary to dealing with the rising jihadi threat could be made.

Man says he slashed woman because she’s white
[NYPOST] A man who was locked away
You have the right to remain silent...
for randomly slashing a woman’s neck earlier this month in Brooklyn told police he attacked her because she is white, police sources said.

Gregory Alfred, 25, told police he set out to find white people to slice back on Mar. 10 because he blamed them and "the system" for preventing him from freely smoking weed, sources said.

The slasher chose to take out his anger on 53-year-old Janina Popko, and cut her across the neck as she was walking near the corner of Beverly and Rugby roads that morning in Ditmas Park, sources said.

"He’s just a sick person," Popko told The Post on Tuesday. "I’m very lucky to be okay. I am still shaky."

"I never was racial. I grew up in Poland , they never teach us to be racial," she added. "I didn’t grow up with this racial thing."

Alfred discarded a large kitchen knife, black plastic bag and an American flag bandanna after the attack. Cops were able to lift fingerprints from the items, the sources said.

"He had bought paring knives and kitchen knives and said he was going to stab people," NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce said at a Tuesday presser at police headquarters.
And no one dropped the dime on him because...

Nigerian Troops Kill Boko Haram Big Turban, 18 Jihadists
[BREITBART] Nigerian troops have killed a Boko Haram
... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality...
kingpin and 18 other jihadists in Borno State. The operation also freed 67 hostages.

"Elements of 22 Brigade Garrison carried out clearing operation at Dalore camp on Sunday in which they killed 19 Boko Haram snuffies among whom was Ameer of Dalore," declared Sani Usman, the acting director of Public Relations at Army Headquarters.

He added: "The troops also captured 2 AK-47 Rifles, 1 Small Machine Gun and 1 Hand Grenade and recovered 4 pickup vehicles. The troops also rescued 67 hostages from the terrorists. The freed hostages are undergoing screening at Internally Displaced Persons in Dikwa."
The number of weapons recovered normally matches the number of deaders, approximately.
Local reports said Dalore "commanded one of the deadliest terror camps in Dikwa." He became famous "for his vicious killing methods especially the beheading of persons captured."

Troops killed a Boko Haram jacket wallah two days ago. Usman told the media the attack occurred near the Sambisa forest.

"The troops recovered a cycle of violence, 12 primed Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) and a hand bag containing personal effects which included a hijab obviously meant for disguise and concealment of explosives for the intended nefarious act," he stated.

American Teen Survives Attack in Brussels, His Third Brush With Terrorism
[ABCNEWS.GO] An American injured in the Brussels terror attacks has already been impacted previous terror attacks in Boston and Gay Paree, his family said.

Mason Wells, 19, was injured in the bombing at the Brussels airport along with two other American Mormon missionaries who had gone to help check in other missionaries who were traveling to the U.S.

Wells suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon, shrapnel injures, as well as second- and third-degree burns on his face and hands after the bombing, his father Chad Wells told ABC News.

The teen missionary had previously been impacted by other terror attacks in Gay Paree and Boston.

"This is his third terrorist attack," Chad Wells said, noting he was with his son just a block from the Boston Marathon bombing.

"This is the third time that sadly in our society that we have a connection to a kaboom," Wells told ABC News. "We live in a dangerous world and not everyone is kind and loving."

He Was Nuked Twice and Lived

TOKYO – Tsutomu Yamaguchi, the only person officially recognized as a survivor of both the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombings at the end of World War II, has died at age 93.

Yamaguchi was in Hiroshima on a business trip for his shipbuilding company on Aug. 6, 1945, when a U.S. B-29 dropped an atomic bomb on the city. He suffered serious burns to his upper body and spent the night in the city.

He then returned to his hometown of Nagasaki, about 300 kilometers (190 miles) to the southwest, which suffered a second U.S. atomic bomb attack three days later.

Artillery, infantry battles continue at Yasinovataya

For a map, click here. You can enlarge the map, if you open it separately.

Fighting between Ukrainian forces and rebels continued into its third week at Yasinovataya as both sides exchange artillery and small arms fire, according to Russian language news accounts.

Ukrainian ministry of defense officials said on Tuesday that rebel forces violated the ceasefire a total of 27 times, by firing mortars onto Ukrainian positions at Avdievka and firing small arms at Ukrainian troops at Avdievka, Zaitsevo, which is north of Gorlovka and at Marinka, which is west of Donetsk city.

Ukrainian officials characterized the fighting as low intensity, which rebel military officials dispute.

According to an official news release from the Donetsk ministry of defense, Ukrainian troops have been firing 120mm and 82mm mortars onto rebel positions at Yasinovataya. Included in the attack was a ten minute barrage Monday night on the Yasinovataya checkpoint and again Tuesday afternoon.

The rebel reports say that the artillery originates in Avdievka. Small arms including sniper fire is "continuous", as characterized by rebel media.

A partial news account which appeared in tsensor.net.ua said that fighting between Ukrainian forces and rebels over the crossroads was characterized as "serious."

According to another rebel report, shelling at Yasinovataya stopped momentarily when representatives from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and Russian Major General Rustam Muradov from the joint control center arrived at the checkpoint.

Yet another rebel official news release said that Ukrainian forces fired on rebel forces at Spartak, the Donetsk airport and in the Petrovskiy district of Donetsk city.

In the south Ukrainian forces shelled rebel forces at Dokuchaevsk, Kominternovo and at Bezymenoye.

Great White North
Trudeau Stimulus Plan Puts Canada C$120 Billion Into the Red
[BLOOMBERG] Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will run deficits totaling almost C$120 billion ($91.7 billion) over six years, offering some stimulus to Canada’s struggling economy while trying to exercise restraint.
Next election he'll be touted as just the man to rescue the Great White North's tanking economy.
Trudeau’s government will add C$11 billion in annual spending for the fiscal year that begins April 1, which will result in a projected deficit of C$29.4 billion for the coming year. The federal budget offers no projected return to balance over five years.

That cumulative deficit, which far exceeds what Trudeau promised in last year’s election campaign, stems from the worsening outlook his Liberals inherited even as they rejected calls for major new stimulus. It also marks a shift for Canada, which was home to an anti-deficit orthodoxy for three decades.

"Our plan is reasonable and affordable," Finance Minister Bill Morneau said in his budget speech Tuesday, which focused heavily on new spending measures. "Today, we are seizing the opportunity to invest in people and the economy, and to prepare Canada for a brighter future."

Trudeau had faced calls from some economists for even more new spending in order to take advantage of interest rates that are near historic lows as monetary policy loses its bite. While the measures detailed Tuesday are forecast to give gross domestic product a 0.5 percent bump in 2016, the Liberals steered clear of loftier deficits.

Afghanistan
Mysterious arrest of Taliban supreme leader’s arch rival in Pakistan
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] A top dissident Taliban leader and arch rival to Taliban supreme leader has been enjugged
You have the right to remain silent...
in Pakistain, days after he favored talks with the Afghan government, provided that Mullah Akhtar is not available in the talks.

According to the local media reports, the top Taliban leader, Mullah Rasool was arrested shortly after entering Pakistain following fierce infighting earlier this month that left almost 200 Taliban bully boyz dead.

Mullah Rasool appeared to have a moderate thinking towards the reconciliation process but was strongly opposing with Mullah Mansoor’s appointment as Taliban supreme leader and his participation in peace talks under Mansoor’s leadership.

In an interview around a week ago, Mullah Rasool called the efforts to revive talks between Afghan government and Taliban group ‘Pak dictated’.

"Earlier we were thinking that the Afghan Government wanted peace talks with all Taliban, but when we saw that it is interested only in making peace with Mullah Mansur because of the dictates of the Pak Government, we decided we cannot start peace talks with the Afghan Government," Rasool told the UK-based Royal United Services Institute (RUSI).

Insisting on exclusion of Mansoor from reconciliation process, Rasool said he considers Mansoor’s claim to leadership spurious.

Rasool had also favored the inclusion of neighboring Iran in the Afghan reconciliation process, saying the quadrilateral approach (involving US, Chinese, Pak and Afghan diplomats working together to re-launch negotiations with the Taliban) does not sufficiently represent the variety of regional interests.

China-Japan-Koreas
N.Korea Was Testing New Multiple Rocket Launchers
The projectiles North Korea fired into the East Sea on Monday came from a new 300-mm multiple rocket launcher, the official [North] Korean Central News Agency said Tuesday.

KCNA said it was the "final test launch" of the new weapon ahead of its field deployment. This is a problem for South Korea, which has no effective means of intercepting the weapon. KCNA published a picture of a rocket from the new launcher hitting a target on an islet in the East Sea, saying leader Fat Boy Kim Jong-un watched the launch on the spot.
What bigwig was in trouble and was standing on the spot?
Recently a consular official in China?
That's him!
The new launchers have a range of 200 km, which would make them capable of striking the Gyeryongdae military complex in South Chungcheong Province, as well as the Seoul metropolitan area, the Osan air base and the U.S. garrison in Pyeongtaek, the Seosan air base, and the Chungju air base, all from near the demilitarized zone.

Experts believe the launchers are more accurate than ordinary short-range missiles because they have global positioning system of some kind. Some speculate that the North is using a global navigation satellite system and an inertial navigation system.

The 300-mm MRL was unveiled during a military parade last October. A mobile launch vehicle with an improved box-type launch system, it is allegedly capable of reloading quickly. Each is armed with eight rockets.

The South Korean Patriot air defense system will have trouble intercepting them, the military said, calling for an upgrade.

Former Toronto mayor Rob Ford dies from cancer at 46
[FRANCE24] Rob Ford, the pugnacious, populist former mayor of Toronto whose career crashed in a drug-driven, obscenity-laced debacle, died Tuesday after fighting cancer, his family said. He was 46.

Ford rode into office on a backlash against urban elites. He cast an image sharply at odds with Canada's reputation for sedate, unpretentious politics. His tenure as mayor of the country's largest city was marred by revelations about his drinking problems and illegal drug use. He was repeatedly videotaped and photographed while intoxicated in public.

Nevertheless, he was later elected by a landslide to a city council seat, a job he held until his death.

Olde Tyme Religion
American Muslim: Yes, the Koran Really is the Problem
[USAToday] As a young Muslim boy growing up in the 1980s and 1990s, it was impossible for me to look up a hadith unless I traveled to an Islamic library, something I would have never thought to do. For all intents and purposes, if I wanted to know about the traditions of Muhammad, I had to ask imams or elders in my tradition of Islam. That is no longer the case today. Just as radical Islamists may spread their message far and wide online, so, too, the Internet has made the traditions of Muhammad readily available for whoever wishes to look them up, even in English. When everyday Muslims investigate the Quran and hadith for themselves, bypassing centuries of tradition and their imams' interpretations, they are confronted with the reality of violent jihad in the very foundations of their faith.

The Quran itself reveals a trajectory of jihad reflected in the almost 23 years of Muhammad's prophetic career. As I demonstrate carefully in my book, Answering Jihad: A Better Way Forward, starting with peaceful teachings and proclamations of monotheism, Muhammad's message featured violence with increasing intensity, culminating in surah 9, chronologically the last major chapter of the Quran, and its most expansively violent teaching. Throughout history, Muslim theologians have understood and taught this progression, that the message of the Quran culminates in its ninth chapter.
First Large Circulation Pub to carry this kind of admission by a muslim. Of course, the writer's solution, which is pan_Islamic agreement on a unitary metaphorical meaning of the violent verses is impossible to execute but still.

Afghanistan
Dostum and Noor supporters stage protests in Mazar amid fears of chaos
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] The supporters of Vice President General Abdul Rashid Dostum
...ethnic Uzbek warlord who distinguished himself fighting the Soviets and the Taliban. The story that he had a bad guy run over with a tank is an exaggeration. It was an armored personnel carrier...
and acting provincial governor Ata Mohammad Noor staged protests in Mazar-e-Sharif city, a day after reports emerged regarding the removal of Dostum’s pictures from the city that sparked furor among his supporters.

Hundreds of people erupted into the streets in Mazar-e-Sharif city today amid fears that the rallies could turn violent due to the cause of demonstration.

The protesters are chanting against corruption, use of power, deception, discrimination, and Mafias operating in this province.

This comes as Noor issued a statement late on Monday warning against any provocative moves that would lead to chaos in the city as a result of the removal of Gen. Dostum’s pictures.

Noor, who is leading Jamaat-e-Islami
...The Islamic Society, founded in 1941 in Lahore by Maulana Sayyid Abul Ala Maududi, aka The Great Apostosizer. The Jamaat opposed the independence of Bangladesh but has operated an independent branch there since 1975. It maintains close ties with international Mohammedan groups such as the Moslem Brotherhood. the Taliban, and al-Qaeda. The Jamaat's objectives are the establishment of a pure Islamic state, governed by Sharia law. It is distinguished by its xenophobia, and its opposition to Westernization, capitalism, socialism, secularism, and liberalist social mores...
party, urged the people to refrain from chaos and moves that lead to disorders in the city and prevent destabilizing the stability of the local residents by repeating the bitter memories of the early 90s and 2000s.

The acting provincial governor warned of strict repercussions if his pleas for calmness were ignored, insisting that the leadership believes and respects tolerance.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
ISIS executes 6 in Manij
[ARA News] ERBIL ــ Extremists of the Islamic State (ISIS) have executed six civilians on various charges in Manbij city in Syria’s northern province of Aleppo, local sources reported on Tuesday.

Speaking to ARA News in Manbij, media activist Nasser Taljbini said that ISIS jihadis executed six civilians in Manbij and its countryside on various charges in a week, including apostasy, opposing the group, and spying for anti-ISIS forces.

“Daesh shot four civilians dead in the Dalla roundabout west of Manbij, three of them were killed for violating the group’s regulations and the fourth was killed on charges of spying for anti-ISIS troops, like the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG),” Taljbini reported, using an acronym for ISIS.

The hardline group also beheaded both Abdul Razak al-Asmar, 28, and Imad al-Sheikh, 47, from the village of Jeb Hasan Agha near Manbij, on charges of “apostasy”, eyewitnesses reported on Tuesday.

In the meantime, ISIS has started evacuating families of its own jihadis in Manbij and transferring them to Raqqa and Maskana, Taljbini said. This comes amid continuous advance by western-backed rebels in the northern countryside of Aleppo province.

ISIS had earlier executed three men from one family in Manbij city in Syria’s northern province of Aleppo, after accusing them of insulting the group’s self-declared Caliphate. “The three brothers were beheaded [last February] at the Dadat square in Manbij suburb in front of dozens of people,” locals reported.

Since its control over large parts of Syria and Iraq, ISIS has been executing, torturing and abducting thousands of civilians. However, the group’s power declined over the past few months, especially after the U.S.-led coalition forces intensified attacks on its headquarters in the two war-torn countries.

Europe
PIERS MORGAN: When it comes to terror, isn’t it time we started listening seriously to Trump?
[DAILYMAIL.CO.UK] How many more?

That’s all I could think this morning as news broke of yet another ISIS terror attack, this time in Brussels.

How many more innocent men, women and kiddies are going to be blown to pieces by these murderous bastards?

How many more airports, train stations, sports stadiums, restaurants or concert halls will be obliterated in a hail of suicide bombs and bullets?

How many more world leaders will wring their hands on national television afterwards and spout pointless platitudes about the ‘poor brave victims’ and ‘heroic emergency services’?

How many taunting, gleeful claims of responsibility will the despicable perpetrators of these evil crimes be able to issue?

I’m sick of this, aren’t you?

Sick of feeling sick about such endless, senseless barbarism.

And the worst thing about it is that I see no end.

The inherent problem which causes it, chaotic war-torn instability in the Middle East, is getting worse, not better; just as the financial and military resource of the enemy is growing greater, not reducing.

Yet just as the world is crying out for strong decisive leadership, there is none.

America has a demob happy President B.O. eeking out his last few months in office. A man whose infamous ‘leading from behind’ philosophy to foreign policy has been partly responsible for the war in Syria raging uncontrollably for five years -- allowing fundamentalism to ferment.

Obama has zero interest in doing anything tangible to really deal with ISIS. This is now parked in the tray marked ‘next president’s problem.’

Europe, meanwhile, is splintering at the seams, ravaged by an unprecedented migration crisis that nobody seems to have a clue how to handle.

German chancellor Angela Merkel
...current chancellor of Germany. She was educated in East Germany when is was still run by commies, but in 1989 got involved with the growing democracy movement when the Berlin Wall fell. Merkel is sometimes referred to by Germans as Mom...
’s decision to let a million migrants colonists into its country is already seen to be an utter disaster.

La Belle France, reeling from two horrendous attacks in Gay Paree, is understandably highly fearful of yet more terror coming its way.

Belgium officials effectively conceded today that they have no real way to protect themselves against the ISIS threat. A fact surely born out by the fact that today’s onslaught in Brussels happened right when the city most expected it, following the capture of Gay Paree attacks suspect Saleh Abdeslam three days ago.

Britannia, surely a target anytime soon, is on red alert but its warring politicians are too distracted by the upcoming EU referendum in June to pay anything more than lame lip service to terrorism.

So nobody seems to be doing anything concrete to stop ISIS, or even suggesting a new way to do so given the spectacular lack of success to date.

Well almost nobody.

By coincidence, I had an interview scheduled today with the world’s most controversial man, Donald Trump, for my UK show, Good Morning Britannia.

It was set up a couple of weeks ago, but the timing was eerily prescient.

Here is one man who definitely has a plan to deal with ISIS terrorism. Several plans in fact.

The problem is that people don’t like them. Well, a lot of people don’t anyway.

Trump, current front-runner for the Republican nomination, wants to hit ISIS ‘so hard they never recover’.

(As he told me: ‘You've got to take them out and you've got to take them out harshly and you've got to take them out fast.’)

He also wants a short-term ban on Muslims entering the U.S. until, as he puts it, ‘we figure out what the hell is going on?’

And he wants to torture suspects like Abdeslam with techniques like water-boarding to try and extract information about future attacks.

Oh, and he wants to build a giant wall to stop illegal immigrants colonists pouring over the Mexican border into America.

Africa Subsaharan
Western governments reportedly knew location of Chibok schoolgirls abducted by Boko Haram
[UKZAMBIANS.CO.UK] Dr. Andrew Pocock, former British high commissioner to Nigeria, says that British and American surveillance found the location of up to 80 of Nigeria’s Chibok girls (276 of whom were kidnapped on April 14, 2014 by Boko Haram
... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality...
), but that a rescue was not attempted because it would have been too risky. "You might have rescued a few but many would have been killed," Pocock told The Sunday Times of London, adding that the girls were likely to be used by the Lions of Islam as human shields. The discovery of the girls was made a month after the kidnapping, and the information was passed on to the Nigerian government who made no request for help.

Dr. Stephen Davis, who spent months in Nigeria trying to negotiate the schoolgirls’ freedom, said that South African mercenaries working with the Nigerian military had released around 1,000 other girls who had been kidnapped by Boko Haram. Davis says he finds the logic behind the decision not to act questionable: "If [South African mercenaries] could release that many," he says, "that belies the argument that the girls would be killed in the process."

The abduction of the schoolgirls two years ago sparked the #BringBackOurGirls (BBOG) campaign, but, apart from 57 girls who escaped early on, the rest are still missing. Campaigners believe the girls have been divided into small groups and taken into Islamic krazed killer-held areas such as the Sambisia forest, which covers an area three times the size of Wales.

5 Ways To Tell If Your Religion Has a Terrorism Problem
[DailyWire] Here's the sad reality: Islam has a terrorism problem. Of course. You'd have to a dolt not to notice this, you'd have to be a useful idiot to ignore it, or you'd have to be slave to an evil ideology of multiculturalism to cover it up. Obama and his leftist friends are one of those three.

Here are five signs one particular religion may have a terrorism problem.

China-Japan-Koreas
North Korean consular official in China kills two in car crash
[CHANNELNEWSASIA] A North Korean consular official in China has killed two people in a car crash, China's Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday, reporting the accident shortly after China came out in support of sanctions against its ally over its nuclear programme.

South Korea's Yonhap news agency earlier reported the North Korean official was driving drunk, and the accident took place after he had left an event celebrating North Korea's launch of a long-range rocket on Feb. 7.

China's Foreign Ministry did not mention those details in a statement to Rooters but said the official's vehicle hit a taxi in the city of Dandong, near the North Korean border, early on Feb. 10, killing the driver and a passenger.

The North Korean official had paid compensation to the families of the victims, the ministry added, in a rare revelation of wrongdoing by an official of an allied power.

Bill Clinton Laments ‘Awful Legacy of the Last 8 Years,’ Claims He Wasn’t Talking About Obama
[NYMAG] If you love politics but are beginning to experience Donald Trump fatigue, don't worry; one-man scandal machine Bill Clinton
...former Democratic president of the U.S. Bill was the second U.S. president to be impeached, the first to deny that oral sex was sex, the first to have difficulty with the definition of is...
has come to the rescue. While speaking in Spokane, Washington, on Monday night, the former president managed to spark a Clinton controversy that does not involve terrorism or tedious emails. And all he had to do was attack the cornerstone of his wife's entire campaign.

While praising Hillary Clinton
... sometimes described as America's Blond Eminence and at other times as Mrs. Bill, never as Another Timothy Pickering ...
for her ability to make change happen, the ex-president appeared to describe the past eight years -- a.k.a. the B.O. regime, a.k.a. the thing his wife is promising the third term of -- as an "awful legacy."

However,
ars longa, vita brevis...
an aide to Bill Clinton said people were misinterpreting his remarks. In reality, he was attacking -- wait for it -- the Republican Party. "When Republicans controlled the White House, their trickle-down approach drove our economy to the brink of a collapse. After President B.O. was elected, Republicans made it their number one goal to block him at every turn," spokesperson Angel Urena said. "That unprecedented obstruction these last eight years is their legacy, and the American people should reject it by electing Hillary Clinton to build on President B.O.'s success so we can all grow and succeed together."

Arabia
Saleh Militia Threatens Houthis after Financial Disputes
Jeddah- Disputes have aggravated among leaderships in the Republic Guard, which is affiliated with the ousted Ali Saleh and Houthi Militia. The militia refused to pay salaries for a great number of Saleh’s militants, claiming lack of financial resources, thus resorting to using arms between the two parties.

Houthi militia requested its leadership to stop paying wages in order to provide financial sources in the coming period; this includes affiliates to the Republican Guard in some districts who are not engaged in military confrontations with the national army.

This news caused those loyal to Saleh to fidget even more and according to a Yemeni source close to the matter, the news might cause the defection of three fully equipped battalions to join the legitimate army.

Brigadier Abdullah Subaihi, commander of the north-eastern sector in Aden and commander of “Brigade 15-Mika”, told Asharq Al-Awsat that the information collected from Sanaa, Saada, and Dhamar confirmed the disputes between Saleh and Houthis in implementing military orders and using arms by one party against the other, thus creating a state of mistrust between the two parties.

On the other hand, Subaihi affirmed that the national army is dealing carefully with these disputes to make the most benefit from them. He also added that the disputes are growing with the national army winning over the militias on the battlefronts.

“Seven thousand militants and officers affiliated to the Republican Guard have been handed to the Yemeni national army,” Subaihi told Asharq Al-Awsat.

Brigadier Subaihi pointed out that Houthi militia lost the money its militants stole from the country’s treasuries, its citizens and their own properties. He added that the militia is also stealing from the employees and the Republican Guard’s affiliates, who have left the military service in great numbers.

India-Pakistan
Rangers detain MQM leader for 90 days in renewed crackdown
KARACHI: Rangers on Monday informed the administrative judge of the antiterrorism courts about the 90-day preventive detention of a senior Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader for questioning — a move the party described as the continuity of the “anti-MQM policy of the establishment”.

Deputy convener of the MQM’s coordination committee Syed Shahid Pasha was picked up in a Rangers raid on his Gulistan-i-Jauhar apartment in the early hours of the day.

His arrest followed a strong reaction of the MQM, whose London-based convener Nadeem Nusrat called upon the army chief to investigate as to which elements were using “a law enforcement agency for their nefarious designs” against the MQM.

As the whereabouts of the MQM leader were not known, his family on Monday moved the Sindh High Court and a two-judge bench issued notices to the home secretary, provincial police chief and director general of the Rangers to file their respective comments till April 11 in a petition against Pasha’s arrest.

Later in the day, personnel of Rangers along with their legal team produced the detainee Pasha before the administrative judge of the ATCs in Karachi along with an intimation application, detention order and a jail warrant.

They submitted that upon receiving credible information about Mr Pasha’s involvement in offences related to targeted killing, kidnapping and extortion punishable under the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997, he was put under three-month preventive detention as provided under Section 11-EEEE of the ATA for an inquiry.

They submitted that in order to comply with Section 11-EEEE (3) of the ATA, the detainee was produced along with relevant documents for the information of the court.

The administrative judge directed the provincial authorities to constitute a joint investigation team within 15 days to interrogate the detainee.

Meanwhile, the paramilitary force said in a statement that the suspect would be investigated about targeted killing and other offences.

MQM reaction

The MQM coordination committee strongly condemned the arrest and subsequent three-month detention of Mr Pasha and termed it the continuity of the anti-MQM policy of the establishment.

It said that the establishment did not want to accept the mandate of the people of urban Sindh. “Workers and leaders and elected representatives of the MQM are busy in their clean Karachi campaign, but the establishment is punishing them by arbitrary raids and arrests and false cases.”

The committee appealed to the president, prime minister, army chief and the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice of the “use of state institutions” for dividing political parties and order release of Mr Pasha forthwith.

It also appealed to the authorities to stop the raids and arrests of MQM workers, leaders and elected representatives.

Meanwhile, MQM chief Altaf Hussain spoke against the double standard of the law enforcement agencies and said that senior office-bearers and leaders of the party who were not involved in any criminal activity were being arrested in the name of the Karachi operation, but those whose names were mentioned in joint investigation team (JIT) reports were given full protocol and patronage.

#5  Part of the problem is the long period of alternating caretaker and short-lived governments, when virtually no dcisions could be or were made. To repeat the history I posted in another thread:

UND prof. vows to call cops on ROTC drills
Prof. Heidi Czerwiec insists that she will call the police on ROTC students carrying guns around campus on their way to training exercises.

Czerwiec says that "[i]t's...highly inappropriate to conduct unnecessary military maneuvers in the middle of the quad," and especially irresponsible so with the possibility of school shootings and tensions on campus.

Dear media, note well. If you think the standard side arm of the standing army is not to be owned by eligible members of the militia because such an 'assault' weapon didn't exist in 1792 (see Militia Act thereof) then by extension the only 'Press' protected by the First is that produced literally by a paper press of 1792.

House VA chairman: 'Sad fact, accountability almost non-existent'
[WASHINGTONEXAMINER] House Veterans Affairs Committee Chairman Jeff Miller lambasted Department of Veterans Affairs officials Tuesday for an "almost non-existent" level of accountability within the agency following a recent scandal.

"Today's announcement from VA that no one will be seriously disciplined for wasting more than $1 billion on a failed construction project and that a few executives might receive a weak slap on the wrist or a temporary written warning for a relocation scandal that cost taxpayers more than $400,000 is more proof of this sad fact," Miller said in a statement late Tuesday.

The project is known as "the biggest construction failure in VA history" and its cost has tripled from its original $604 million budget.

The VA announced Tuesday afternoon that the four leaders at the Veterans Benefits Administration who mismanaged the Denver hospital replacement project would receive suspensions and be reprimanded for their misuse of taxpayer funds.

Former FBI: "Vast Majority" Of Mosques are Part of Jihad Network
"As it turns out the people who carried out these massacres all belonged to an Islamic Center in whatever city they were from. This goes along with reports earlier this month that mosques and Islamic Centers in the United States were stockpiling weapons.

But the government would never bother checking because it might offend somebody. And the people who are deciding what's offensive to those who practice Islam are actually part of this jihadi network, as well, and they're also working hand-in-hand with the Obama Administration, and have been a part of our government for much longer."

In the USA that included the center in Tucson AZ which was a nexus of AQ operations in the nineteen nineties, along with centers in Brooklyn, Jersey, Orange County, CA., and Falls Church. Almost surely the number of Islamic Centers under surveillance in the USA alone must exceed fifty sites.

Europe
Brussels airport bombers used explosives packed in their SUITCASES, officials say
[DAILYMAIL.CO.UK] The Brussels airport bombers who killed 14 people in a deadly terror attack calmly walked into the terminal with suitcases packed full of explosives before detonating them, officials have confirmed.

Two of the three men who casually wheeled their suitcases through the airport after arriving in a taxi blew themselves up, while the third is said to have dumped his nail bomb before fleeing the scene.

Belgian police are now 'actively searching' for the third suspect, who was caught on CCTV wearing a white coat and a black hat. It is unclear whether he abandoned his suicide mission after his suitcase bomb failed to detonate or whether he had planned to escape before the carnage.

One theory being probed is that he fled the airport after the first terror attack at 8am local time (7am GMT) yesterday before travelling to Maelbeek station to carry out the other blast that killed 20 people in a subway train just 79 minutes later.

Belgian police launched a major manhunt to find him yesterday as ISIS grabbed credit for the massacres, which killed 34 people in total and injured close to 200 others.

At least four devices were said to have been used in the airport bombing, including two within the suitcases which went kaboom!.

One bomb detonated beside a check-in desk where passengers pay a surcharge for overweight luggage. The second went kaboom! outside a branch of Starbucks.

A third unwent kaboom! bomb was found in the suitcase which failed to detonate, and an undetonated boom jacket was discovered among the rubble alongside two AK-47 assault rifles. The devices which failed to explode have since been dealt with by army specialists.

Zaventem mayor Francis Vermeiren confirmed the ISIS suspects checked in their explosives-packed suitcases just seconds before the atrocities, killing innocent bystanders preparing for their travels.

He said: 'They came in a taxi with their suitcases, their bombs were in their bags.

'They put their suitcases on trolleys, the first two bombs went kaboom!. The third also put his on a trolley but he must have panicked, it didn't explode.'

Belgian newspaper HLN reports a taxi driver told police he believes he unwittingly drove the bombers to the airport and was abruptly told not to touch their suitcases when he offered to help them with their luggage.

The two men whose suitcases successfully detonated -- blowing themselves up in the process - were wearing black gloves on their left hands, which security sources say would have hidden the triggers for their explosives.

It is a similar technique said to have been used by the jihadists who carried out the sickening Gay Paree massacres last November, which saw 130 innocent people killed in a string of deadly terror attacks.

The third Brussels suspect -- now believed to be on the run -- fled the terminal before the attack.

Belgian police have now launched a major manhunt for the man, and last night issued a 'wanted' poster which showed him wearing a light-coloured coat and black hat while wheeling his suitcase.

'Police are looking to identify this man. He is suspected of having committed the attack at Zaventem on Tuesday March 22,' a police front man said.

A string of anti-terror raids were also carried out across the capital, with police confirming another nail bomb, an ISIS flag and several 'chemical products' were found at a house in the Schaerbeek area.

Police swooped on a number of suspects but the Belgian Foreign Ministry said many of those behind the terror plot are 'still on the lam'.

It came after the world yesterday woke up to yet another deadly terror attack in Europe - just four months after 130 people were massacred in Gay Paree.

Boko Haram: Nigeria sets up Naval post in Lake Chad region
[PREMIUMTIMESNG] sident Muhammadu Buhari has approved the establishment of a naval command post in the Lake Chad region in a bid to strengthen the fight against insurgency in the North-East.

The Director of Naval Information, Chris Ezekobe, disclosed this during a courtesy visit to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.

"There is a presidential directive to set up a command post in the Lake Chad Region and that is ongoing," said Mr. Ezekobe, a naval commodore.

According to him, naval personnel for the command post are currently undergoing training in the North East and would be deployed once it becomes operational.

Mr. Ezekobe said the navy already had three categories of forces working in the North-East.

Similarly, the naval front man said that the navy had acquired 30 repellent boats and was expecting 50 more by the end of May to enhance security in the Niger Delta Region.

According to him, this will make it difficult for the criminals to operate in that domain.

"We have improved on our surveillance capability and the regional maritime awareness capability.

Fulani herdsmen are Boko Haram members, stop patronizing their cows -- IPOB tells Ndigbo
[DAILYPOST.NG] The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has claimed that the rampaging Fulani herdsmen are not ordinary people but members of Boko Haram
... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality...
who are bent on annihilating Ndigbo under the guise of herders.

It, therefore, advised Ndigbo to stop eating meat derived from cows and reared by Fulani in order not to give room for Fulani herdsmen to infiltrate their towns and villages to kill them and rape their women.

The group, in a statement signed by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Comrade Emma Powerful rather advised the Igbos to breed their own local cows which were in abundance at Abakaliki, in Ebonyi State, Nsukka in Enugu State and Obudu in Cross River State, stressing that if such is patronized, the Fulani herdsman will leave Igboland without molestation.

The statement reads, "After putting our acts together, IPOB discovered that the Fulani herdsmen are determined to exterminate the lives of Biafrans through their herdsmen.

"We in the IPOB worldwide are calling on all Biafrans to stop eating Fulani cows and stop patronizing them. They will leave our land and stop raping our women and girls and they will stop killing our men because of our wives and girls.

"We discovered that these Fulani herdsmen are not ordinary people but Boko Haram bandidos holy warriors who were trained by their brothers. We are calling on Biafrans to start eating goat meat, chickens and fish.

"Again, all Biafrans should start rearing their local cows. We have them at Abakiliki in Ebonyi State, Nsukka in Enugu State and Obudu Ranch in Calaber, Cross River State in abundance.

"If we Biafrans implement this without patronizing them again, they will leave our land without molestations because they were equipped with guns and we Biafrans don’t have guns and ammunition.

"We also know that Hausa/Fulani don’t eat much of cow meat but have you asked yourselves questions why they don’t eat red meat?

"IPOB reminds you about what the Hausa/Fulani did in Agatu, Benue State and in Delta State where they kidnapped a traditional ruler and killed him and in Enugu and Ebonyi states where they ravaged, killed, maimed and raped our women and girls."
