[FoxNews] The Trump campaign has been donating meals to hospitals across the country to feed doctors, nurses and first responders on the front lines of the coronavirus battle, Fox News has learned.
Since last Thursday, President Trump’s reelection campaign has been calling up local restaurants and ordering large amounts of food to be delivered to more than a dozen hospitals in New York, New Jersey, Washington state and Michigan. The campaign has been placing these orders anonymously, but Fox News learned about the effort — and sources confirmed it.
One source told Fox News that the campaign was looking to not only express gratitude for first responders treating patients with COVID-19, but to support local restaurants.
“They’re doing it as a donor who cares,” one source told Fox News. “So nothing politically is tied to it. ... We’re just trying to, you know, show a thank you.”
“They’re trying to send things that are like, local restaurants that may need support [and] cool restaurant icons of the area that may need the business,” one source said.
The source told Fox News that the campaign has already spent tens of thousands of dollars on the effort, which they plan to expand in the coming days and weeks.
The campaign plans to continue placing the orders to feed medical personnel, as the pandemic continues to strain the country's hospital system.

So like Mr. Trump to do it quietly. Kudos to the campaign for carrying on the tradition. Now watch as anti-Trumpers of all sorts ignore it completely.
Alinsky the heck out o’them, guys — make them live up to their own rules.
[HotAir] Back at the beginning of June, District of Columbia Mayor Muriel Bowser took it upon herself to rename a public street “Black Lives Matter Plaza” and ordered those three words to be painted in huge yellow letters spanning two blocks of 16th Street NW. This was an obvious sop to the protesters and rioters who have been filling the streets of most major cities for quite some time now, as well as an opportunity to score a few quick headlines in her ongoing PR battle with Donald Trump. But in doing so, she also established a precedent of sorts. Public streets in the nation’s capital that are maintained using taxpayer funds were now apparently legitimate fora for the expression of political opinions.
Taking that signal to heart, Judicial Watch decided to get in on the action themselves. They sent in a request to paint another street in the same area with their own slogan. Strangely, despite multiple attempts to prompt a response from the Mayor, they were unable to obtain permission to do the same thing she had done. Seeing no other recourse, the group is now taking the Mayor to court to ensure their own right to free expression under the First Amendment.
Judicial Watch announced today that it filed a civil rights lawsuit against DC Mayor Muriel Bowser and other officials for First Amendment violations over their refusal to allow Judicial Watch to paint the message “Because No One Is Above the Law!” on a DC street. (Judicial Watch. v. Muriel Bowser, et al. (No. 1:20-cv-01789)).
On June 5, 2020, after days of protests and riots in Washington, DC, led by the Black Lives Matter organization, Mayor Bowser authorized the painting of “Black Lives Matter” on 16th Street NW, and later authorized or allowed “Defund the Police” to be painted alongside it.
The group sent a letter requesting permission to paint “Because No One is Above the Law!” in the identical size and coloring of the “Black Lives Matter” painting on another DC street near its headquarters near Capitol Hill. Judicial Watch offered to pay for the cost of the painting and, citing the timely nature of the issue, asked for a response in three days.
This process isn’t going to be confined to the District of Columbia. Never one to miss an opportunity to jump on the liberal bandwagon, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio similarly announced this week that huge “Black Lives Matter” statements would be painted on streets in all five boroughs of Gotham. In response, Judicial Watch has already sent a letter to Hizzoner requesting permission to paint their motto on Fifth Avenue between 56th and 57th Streets. There’s been no word yet as to whether or not the Mayor will comply.
The poor dears! Turning their lives around. Aspiring rappers?
[NY Post] The teenager shot dead in Seattle’s Capitol Hill Organized Protest area was being chased after stealing a Jeep at knifepoint — and sobbed, "I don’t want to die" after he was shot, according to a report.
Antonio Mays Jr., 16, said that he and a 14-year-old boy were being chased and shot at early Monday after they "beat someone up and took" their vehicle at knifepoint, his so-called "street sister," Ciara Walker, told DailyMail.com.
Walker told the pair to head to the police precinct in the CHOP zone, telling them, "You will be safe there — nothing will happen to you."
"Next thing I heard the crashing and pop pop pop,
...reportedly the CHAZ/CHOP volunteer militia members fired over 300 bullets — and yet she heard only pop pop pop? Words fail...
and one of them screamed, ’Ah s—t I’m hit, I don’t wanna die,'" Walker told the Mail. "Then the phone went dead."
Mays was killed and his younger passenger left in critical condition.
Walker insisted the pair were "not gang members" even though they "hung out with Blood gang members."
Hadn’t yet made their bones, and now one of them never will... and the wounded yoot will still have to do some other dreadful thing to get in.
They told her one of the cars that chased them — allegedly firing shots — had "security" written on the side of it.
"They drove into the CHOP zone not to ambush the sleeping protesters but for their own safety," Walker told the outlet.
"And it ended up costing at least one of them their life."
The deadly shooting ‐ along with an earlier one that killed a 19-year-old ‐ were central to the zone finally getting shut down this week.

It would be encouraging to believe that the current violence will lead to a shortage of criminal masterminds in the future, but that's just not realistic.

Still, the CHOP's security shouldn't have killed him. They should have just stopped him. And what about his innocent passenger! Charge the guys who killed him with Murder 1 and execute them tomorrow! And their dogs! And defund the CHOPs. And give everyone else free money.

Per the 19 YO who was shot earlier. Hannity interviewed the father and apparently no officials bothered to even notify him. Not the police, not the mayor - he heard about it from his son's friends. And they wouln't even let him see his son for about a week. Sad interview.

“I’m confused. It’s been two weeks. When I went to the hospital there was no detective. No media. Nobody,” said the father. “It’s like they didn’t care. It’s like it didn’t matter.”
They must have been defunded already. You should have said something.
Please, please tell me she was trying to score heroin on Union Street in Manchester...
[ZH] - Having been decidedly off-the-radar for months since the controversial 'suicide' of Jeffrey Epstein, NBC New York reports that Ghislaine Maxwell, has been arrested by the FBI and charged by federal prosecutors.
Multiple senior law enforcement officials reportedly said the British socialite and heiress was arrested in New Hampshire on Epstein-related charges and is expected to appear in a federal court later today.

New Hampshire is interesting as a place to hideout. It has been a long time since his assisted suicide, so I’m wondering how the insurance files and films have been perhaps selectively purged or neutered. I cannot imagine this will be lacking in surprises, either in what she says or how she expires.

Fox News just said she was on a 120 acre property she bought in Bradford (30 miles north of Manchester) last year through an LLC so she could conceal her identity. Apparently it wasn't concealed enough, but an amateur search of the county records didn't give me a result on Maxwell, so I'll go with 'she used a maiden / other name'.
#22
Mods - please delete the duplicate post - thanks!
Also - she's in FBI custody but I'm wondering if there's a chance they throw her into this place for a little while. It used to be the Valley Street jail, which was built well over a century ago and this new facility's been around for 10-15 years. A high school classmate's now the warden for the place so maybe I can confirm my theory.
#23
Oh - because of jurisdictional matters, she'll be dragged off to Concord (seat of Merrimack County) for the initial arraignment, then they'll probably haul her ass to Boston after that.

We moved up here 2 years ago not too far from Bradford. Nice place out in the woods next to Warner. Looked at a real nice log home there, wound up in a smaller log home a little to the north.

An Axios quote..uh huh..just an attempt by the traitorous left to try an erode Trumps black support which currently polls at 28% (meaning it's probably a lot higher)

The justice reform package is a done deal, so no worries there. It will help with some of Trump's more skeptical hard right base if Jared is shunted aside now.

Well, Donny, you keep hiring these people. And you did work on getting Jared his SCI access, correct?

Quote seems odd because criminal justice reform has nothing to do with what we are seeing now. Releasing criminals during Covid and letting rioters go almost immediately have more to do with the ongoing troubles.
Another source told Axios that any leaks from unnamed sources about a Trump-Kushner rift are being purposely hurtful.
'Numerous anonymous sources have attempted to provide separation between Jared and the president,' a senior White House official said. 'They have failed for the last three and a half years. They are not going to be successful today either.'

Part of Trump's 4D chess. Allude to some non-existent internal family heat and signal to his base that he is fed up and retribution is coming for the anarchists...think this right before our Independence Day was a co-incidence..hardly

So we don't know if Trump actually said this. One of the MSM's legions of un-named or anonymous sources.
I used to think that stories like this were the result of hard-headed investigative journalism. (stop laughing! I was young)
Now we know they are the result of insider leaks to the press. Somebody wants you to know this. And they want you to know it now. It's always worth thinking about who that somebody might be and why they are sending this message.
Hey, I heard on Twitter that AF is running out of water.

According to the CDC's 24 JUN 20 update the virus is massively more widespread than initial estimates, by minimally a factor of 10. In other words it's also far less lethal than initially predicted.
They also had estimates of the number who died solely from the Wuhan virus, 7%. Not a typo. The other 93% had mat least 2.5 other conditions.

Miraculously the city will A) still not have any where near enough money and be 'forced' to raise taxes. B)not return a thin dime, shekel, kopek, or rusty bottle cap to the citizens.

Actually it might shift the cost from Emergency Medical (which the city pays for) to Funeral Services (which the family of the victim has to pay for).
Who cares if more people, mostly black, die? It's not like Black Lives Matter to Liberals...

[538, via Fark] - Soccer Commentary Is Full Of Coded Racism
A new study shows players with darker skin are often reduced to physical attributes, while players with lighter skin are praised for mental qualities.
A new paper published by Danish sports data company RunRepeat and backed by the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) makes it clear that soccer commentary in the United Kingdom, United States and Canada has a racism problem.
Researchers from RunRepeat sampled 80 games from the 2019-20 seasons of the English Premier League, French Ligue 1, Italian Serie A and Spanish La Liga — broadcast across seven different networks1 — and analyzed more than 2,000 statements made by commentators about 643 unique players. The study included 1,361 comments about players with lighter skin and 713 comments about players with darker skin.2 The study found that, weighting for the different number of comments made about each group, players with lighter skin were praised more frequently for their intelligence (62.6 percent of the comments coded as positive were about players with lighter skin), work ethic (60.4 percent) and overall quality (62.8 percent), while 63.3 percent of criticism about a player’s intelligence was aimed at players with darker skin, along with 67.6 percent of criticism about a player’s quality.
The study also found that players with darker skin were often reduced to racist tropes about their speed and strength, which is often coded by commentators as "pace and power."

It makes me think what quality do you need more, to be a researcher these days ? Do you have to be totally insane or just completely, shamelessly indecent ?

It was only after 9/11 that I noticed that when NPR did a report on Israel or the Palestinians the Arabs were given full names, descriptions, jobs, relatives and relationships, while the Jews were given only first name and reason they were mentioned.
“Ari, who lives in the Old City of Jerusalem in a house that used to belong to a Palestinian family...”
“We tracked down the family that used to live in Ari’s house. Mahmoud El Baradei, who lives in a hovel in a refugee camp near Jerusalem with his parents, his wife and five children, and seventeen of his brothers and sisters, showed me the key to his house in the Old City as we sat together eating a scrumptious meal and talking. His grandparents were driven out by the Jews in 1948 — Jews live in the house now, and shut the door in his face when he rang the doorbell...”

Inconvenient Truth never gets covered in the MSM or the People’s Republic of Nancyville where a once beautiful city is awash in squalor, excrement and crime.
[Arutz 7] - "Transgender women are women. Any statement to the contrary erases the identity and dignity of transgender people".
We only lacked the United Nations to join the crowd and take a stand against J.K. Rowling, the "Harry Potter" author accused of "transphobia" for a series of tweets and then an essay in which she claimed that sexual difference is real.
Four writers represented by Rowling's literary agency, the Blair Partnership, have resigned after accusing the agency of refusing to issue "a public statement of support for transgender rights". It comes after the attacks on Rowling by the actors made famous by "Harry Potter" - from Daniel Radcliffe to Emma Watson up to Rupert Grint - and the people at Warner and Universal, who came out against the writer.
A host of Hachette employees, the publishing house that will take care of publishing "The Ickabog", the latest work by Rowling, put up a protest against the writer's statements, claiming to be willing to abandon the project if they find it necessary.
Hachette employees are not new to this type of protest. A few months ago they clashed with the board of directors of the publishing house for the publication of Woody Allen's memoirs and the project was eventually abandoned. The price for sacrificing Rowland was certainly too high, it is something like £795 million.
But what becomes of a much less famous but excellent writer who speaks out against gender theory? In the Wall Street Journal, Abigail Shrier told readers what is happening to her book, "Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters", an essay against gender theory. Its publisher, Regnery, received a response from Amazon that it would not be authorized to post a paid ad for the book. Amazon's stated reason for blocking the ad - a simple cover image - was this: "It contains elements that challenge sexual orientation."
A few days before that, a chorus of economists and former Fed chiefs and the usual digital herd on Twitter were all trying to destroy the director of one of America's leading academic publications, Harald Uhlig of the University of Chicago, the best-known German economist in the United States, after he dared to criticize Black Lives Matter. The posts sparked a quick backlash, including criticism from several colleagues in Chicago and a petition calling on him to step down as editor of the Journal of Political Economy, one of the five industry magazines in America, which has now put him on leave. Then, as often happens in these lynchings, other journalists, like gravediggers, started doing digital archeology in the old Uhlig posts.
...Judging by the amount of heads that are rolling in the "diversity" guillotine basket, perhaps it is already too late. Today it is the gender craze, tomorrow will be imaginary racism, everyday these failed censors find someone to burn at the stake to consolidate their power, careers and ideology. These idiots have taken over media, universities and publishing houses. We have no alternative but to fight them.

The powers that would be couldn't care less about these pathetic, broken, delusional people. This is about making the normals bow down the same way the Soviets and Chicoms did and do. If you would do business or try and get on with your life in any fashion, you must cheer and champion that which is manifestly untrue, degrade and humiliate yourself with their mental illness. Of course it's all for the good of the state.
[YNet] - Governors of U.S. states hit hardest by the resurgent coronavirus halted or reversed steps to reopen their economies on Wednesday, led by California, the nation's most populous state and a new epicenter of the pandemic.
New cases of COVID-19, the illness caused by the coronavirus, shot up by nearly 50,000 on Wednesday, according to the latest tally, marking the biggest one-day spike since the start of the pandemic.
"The spread of this virus continues at a rate that is particularly concerning," California Governor Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, said in ordering the closure of bars, bans on indoor dining and other restrictions in 19 counties, affecting over 70% of the state's population.
The change in California, which was the first U.S. state to impose sweeping "stay-at-home" restrictions in March, will likely inflict more financial pain on the owners of bars and restaurants who have struggled to survive the pandemic. Nobody mentions the working girls - who are the hardest hit by lockdowns.
The epicenter of the country's COVID-19 epidemic has moved from the Northeast to California, Arizona and New Mexico in the West along with Texas, Florida and Georgia.
Texas again topped its previous record on Wednesday with 8,076 new cases, while South Carolina reported 24 more coronavirus deaths, a single-day high for the state. Tennessee and Alaska also had record numbers of new cases on Wednesday.
...In Indiana, Republican Governor Eric Holcomb halted his state's phased reopening until at least mid-July.
...Roughly seven in 10 Republicans said they were personally concerned about the virus' spread, up from six in 10 in previous polls. About nine in 10 Democrats said they are similarly worried, a level of concern that has not changed.
Conservatives have generally been less willing to wear masks or follow other restrictions imposed by local authorities to stop the spread of the virus as the issue has become increasingly politicized.

Given the media pension to lie about it and the totalitarian politicians who use it to suppress dissent, compliance with new regulations is just surrendering to the dictators.

[Jpost] The former Atlanta police officer who was charged in the June 12 death of Rayshard Brooks, touching off days of protests, has been released from jail, local television station WSBTV reported.
A Georgia County judge on Tuesday set bond for the former officer, Garrett Rolfe, 27, at $500,000 and added numerous conditions including that he has to wear an ankle monitor and obey a curfew.
Courtesy of g(r)omgoru, moved here for ease of viewing:
[Hot Air] At some point early this morning, former Atlanta Police Officer Garret Rolfe after posting a half-million-dollar bond. Rolfe is still facing numerous charges in the death of Rayshard Brooks and the release came despite to keep him locked up. The terms of his release are quite restrictive and he won’t be able to leave town.
But at the same time, more details are emerging from the investigation into what precisely happened on June 12th when Brooks was shot. One Atlanta Police Department homicide detective who has been assigned to the case has investigated the evidence extensively and this week he filed a court brief on behalf of the defense. In it, Detective Al Hogan claimed in the filing that, had Brooks survived the encounter, he would have charged him with ten different criminal charges.
This is going to complicate the District Attorney’s case against Rolfe even further, and it was pretty weak tea to being with. The prosecution is seeking to portray Brooks as some sort of happy-go-lucky drunk who just happened to fall asleep in the Wendy’s drive-through and was then gunned down by racist cops. But both the video evidence and the results of this investigation tell a very different tale.
I touched on this aspect of the case in an earlier article I wrote about what happens when the police become fed up with being used as scapegoats to appease an angry mob. It’s clear that Brooks instigated and then severely escalated the violence at a point where the cops were ready to calmly and safely take him in on a DUI charge. Physically assaulting the police and then stealing a Taser and firing it at them brought the confrontation to a crisis point, particularly when Georgia law defines a Taser as a potentially lethal weapon.
The only moment where the prosecution should be able to hang its hat on some sort of charge against Rolfe comes with the decision to shoot him in the back while he’s fleeing. Rolfe and the other officers would need to be able to convince a jury that allowing Brooks to escape at that point would pose a reasonable risk of danger to either the public or other officers. Given that the Taser was presumably discharged at that point and Brooks didn’t have any other weapons on him, that might be a stretch.
But felony murder? I’m still gobsmacked that the DA could have been so panicked over the potential reaction in the streets to the shooting that he would overreact to such a vast degree. Frankly, I don’t know if they’ll be able to get a conviction against Rolfe for anything at this point, nor am I completely convinced that they should be able to.
[AlAhram] Egypt’s Court of Cassation upheld on Wednesday death sentence ...the barbaric practice of sentencing a murderer to be punished for as long as his/her/its victim is dead... s against three defendants convicted on terrorism-related charges in the 2014 case known in the media as the Ansar al-Sharia ...a Salafist militia which claims it is not part of al-Qaeda, even though it works about the same and for the same ends. There are groups of the same name in Libya and Yemen, with the Libyan versions currently most active. Tunisia's Shabaab al-Tawhid started out an Ansar al-Sharia and changed its name in early 2014. It still uses the old name now and then, probably because the stationery's not all used up and the web site hasn't expired yet... case.
The court also upheld life imprisonment sentences for four others, and 10-year prison terms for three defendants.
The final verdict comes nearly two years after a criminal court handed down death sentences to three defendants, and life imprisonment and 15-year prison terms to four and seven others, respectively.
In 2014, the defendants were charged with establishing and running the Ansar al-Sharia terrorist group, attacking police and army personnel and institutions, as well as targeting government facilities and Christians and their places of worship.
The prosecution charged that between August 2013 and May 2014 in Beni Suef, Sharqiya and Giza, the defendants managed a terrorist organization and received funds to carry out hostile operations against the state and citizens.

[AlAhram] Egypt's top appeals court issued on Wednesday a final seven-year prison sentence against a police officer who killed an activist during a 2015 demonstration.
Shaimaa El-Sabbagh, a 32-year-old mother who belonged to the Socialist Popular Alliance Party, was rubbed out by an officer who fired birdshot to disperse a protest in downtown Cairo on the fourth anniversary of the 25 January Revolution.
First lieutenant Yassin was initially sentenced to 15 years in prison in June 2015 for "an action that led to the death" of El-Sabbagh. The ruling was later overturned by the Court of Cassation, which ordered a retrial in February 2016.
Hatem was then sentenced to 10 years in prison by a criminal court in June 2017. On Wednesday, however, the Court of Cassation reduced the sentence to seven years. This sentence is final and cannot be appealed
Prosecutors argued that Hatem had acted with the intention of harming demonstrators by loading his shotgun with birdshot, showing a disregard for the lives of others.
The officer fired birdshot at demonstrators from a distance of eight metres, which immediately killed El-Sabbagh.
The killing of El-Sabbagh, who was protesting peacefully, sparked public outcry at the time, prompting President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi to vow to bring her killer to justice.
Egypt banned unsanctioned protests in 2013 amid unrest that followed the ouster of Islamist president Mohammed Morsi.
[Rudaw] Tehran has resumed export of natural gas to The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund... , three months after the pipeline was damaged in a bad boy attack, Mohammad Askari the spokesperson for the Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... National Gas company told IRNA on Wednesday.
Iranian officials including the oil minister had criticized Turkey for delays in repairing the pipeline, depriving Tehran of hundreds of millions of dollars in desperately needed hard currency.
"With the completion of repairing the gas pipeline for export in Ottoman Turkish soil, the exports have resumed," Askari said. "The export of Iranian gas to Turkey is continuing like before."
Iran foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif ...Persian foreign minister, Mouthpiece of Mullahs, good friend of John Kerry and similar exemplars of Merkin values... visited Turkey last month and discussed an array of issues including terrorism.
"I deemed it necessary to have a trip to Turkey to discuss economic relations, energy cooperation, and regional issues," Zarif said upon arrival in Turkey, according to the Tehran Times.
The natural gas pipeline was damaged in a kaboom claimed by the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) on March 31, causing a massive dent in Iranian exports to Turkey.
Data from the Ottoman Turkish statistics center shows that in the first five months of this year, Iran exported 356 million dollars to Turkey, a tenfold drop compared to the same period last year. Iran exported 3.5 billion worth of goods and energy to Turkey in the first five months of 2019.
The flow of natural gas to Turkey via the pipeline has been interrupted at least since it became operational in 2001.
Turkey has remained an important trading partner for Tehran at a time when US economic sanctions have starved the Iranian government of necessary foreign currency
In September, Iran made $320 million from natural gas exports to Turkey and Iraq.
Iran exports around 10 billion cubic meters of gas to Turkey annually and is considered the third most important source of natural gas after Russia and Azerbaijan.
Iran and Turkey signed a contract in 1996 at a time when demand for natural gas was growing in Turkey.

[IsraelTimes] Security service says Beirut Hamoud and her Lebanese husband tried to enlist two residents of her hometown of Majd al-Krum as operatives for the Iran-backed terror group.
The Shin Bet security service on Tuesday accused an Arab Israeli woman living in Leb ...an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozeen flavors of Christians. It is the home of Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers... of working to recruit Israeli citizens as operatives for the Iran-backed Hezbollah terror group.
According to the Shin Bet, Beirut Hamoud sought to enlist two female residents of her hometown of Majd al-Krum, an Arab town in the Galilee. The women, whose names weren’t published, were arrested on May 2 and were granted conditional release after they were interrogated.
Hamoud was questioned by Israeli security forces in 2013 over suspicions she had contacted Hezbollah operatives and met with them at one conference in Morocco in 2008 and another in Tunisia in 2012, after which the Shin Bet said she left Israel for Lebanon. There, she married Bilal Bizri and now works as a journalist at the Hezbollah-linked al-Akhbar neswspaper.
"Alongside her work as a journalist in Lebanon, Beirut Hamoud and her husband Bilal are run by the terror organization Hezbollah to locate and recruit Israeli citizens for operations for Hezbollah," a statement from the Shin Bet said.
The security agency said Hamoud contacted the two Majd al-Krum residents and met them in The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire... in December, after which the Shin Bet questioned them on suspicion that Hamoud and Bizri had tried to recruit them to Hezbollah.
"During the investigation the contact between the two and Beirut was confirmed, as well as information about the meeting in Turkey and the way in which Hezbollah worked through Beirut and her husband to enlist additional Israelis for Hezbollah operations," the Shin Bet said.
According to the security service, one of its agents called Bizri to warn him that Israel was on to them and to cease their efforts to recruit Israelis citizens for Hezbollah. A portion of the undated phone call was released by the Shin Bet.
"Send greetings to your commander in Hezbollah... in the near future there will be a few surprises for him from us," the agent said during the call.
At the end of the phone call, Bizri said, "I’m not in Hezbollah or anything like it." The quote was not included in the Hebrew subtitles of the recording sent out by the security service.
The Shin Bet didn’t specify for what type of operations they suspected Hamoud had tried to recruit the women. But it stressed "the great severity" with which it viewed "exploiting Israeli citizenship" to help the activities of terror groups.
Responding to the accusations, Hamoud said the two Majd al-Krum residents were childhood friends of hers and accused the Shin Bet of investigating her because she married a Lebanese national.
"In 2013 they tailed me for two and a half months and interrogated me. They found nothing, because there wasn’t anything to find, nothing but the illusions in their heads," she wrote on Facebook.
[AlAhram] International and regional powers agreed at talks on Tuesday to intensify a military campaign against Islamist murderous Moslems in the West African Sahel region ... North Africa's answer to the Pak tribal areas... , with French President Emmanuel Macron saying victory over the jihadists was within grasp.
Militant attacks in the Sahel have increased over the last two years, especially in the tri-border region of Niger, Burkina Faso ...The country in west Africa that they put where Upper Volta used to be. Its capital is Oogadooga, or something like that. Its president is currently Blaise Compaoré, who took office in 1987 and will leave office feet first, one way or the other... and Mali known as Liptako-Gourma, where local authorities have been overrun.
Mauritania hosted a meeting of the leaders of five Sahel nations plus La Belle France and Spain to plot future strategy in the scrubland south of the Sahara where since 2013 thousands of French troops have been helping countries counter insurgencies.
"The heads of state stressed the need to intensify the fight on all fronts by national and international forces against terrorist groups," the final communique said.
The so-called G-5 Sahel nations comprise Burkina Faso, Mali, Mauritania, Niger and Chad - all former French colonies. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez also attended the summit, while other EU leaders joined by video.
"We are all convinced that victory is possible in the Sahel. We are finding our way there thanks to the efforts that have been made over the past six months," Macron said after the summit.
Ahead of the summit, a joint statement by the United Nations ...a lucrative dumping ground for the relatives of dictators and party hacks... and a group of aid organizations painted a dark picture of the situation on the ground.
"The security situation in the Sahel countries has tanked considerably in recent months. Conflicts prevailing in the region are having unprecedented humanitarian consequences," it said.
The joint forces, led by La Belle France's 5,100 troops, have so far targeted the regional affiliate of Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... , concentrating military efforts on Liptako-Gourma.
French forces said this month that they had killed al Qaeda's North Africa commander Abdelmalik Droukdel ... aka Abdel Wadoud, was a regional leader of the GSPC for several years before becoming the group's supremo in 2004 following the death of then-leader Nabil Sahraoui. Under Abdel Wadoud's leadership the GSPC has sought to develop itself from a largely domestic entity into a larger player on the international terror stage. In September 2006 it was announced that the GSPC had joined forces with al-Qaeda and in January 2007 the group officially changed its name to the Al-Qaeda Organization in the Islamic Maghreb.... . But the G-5 force has been hampered by a lack of funding, equipment and coordination.
La Belle France has long called for more help from its European allies for the mission, which it sees as essential to protecting the security of Europe's southern flank.
[IsraelTimes] Russian voters approve changes to the constitution that will allow President Vladimir Putin ...President-for-Life of Russia. He gets along well with other presidents for life. He is credited with bringing political stability and re-establishing something like the rule of law, which occasionally results in somebody dropping dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substance. The old bunch, without close personal ties to Putin, are in jail or in exile or dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substances... to hold power until 2036. But the weeklong plebiscite that concluded this evening was tarnished by widespread reports of pressure on voters and other irregularities.
With most of the nation’s polls closed and 20% of precincts counted, 72% voted for the constitutional amendments, according to election officials.
For the first time in Russia, polls were kept open for a week to bolster turnout without increasing crowds casting ballots amid the coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... pandemic — a provision that Kremlin critics denounced as an extra tool to manipulate the outcome.
A massive propaganda campaign and the opposition’s failure to mount a coordinated challenge helped Putin get the result he wanted, but the plebiscite could end up eroding his position because of the unconventional methods used to boost participation and the dubious legal basis for the balloting.
By the time polls closed in Moscow and most other parts of Western Russia, the overall turnout was at 65%, according to election officials. In some regions, almost 90% of eligible voters cast ballots.

Their channels were among more than 25,000 shut down Monday by the online video sharing platform for violating its hate speech rules.
Dieudonne’s page, which was full of videos agitating against Jews, had some 400,000 subscribers. In a Facebook post, he blames "Israeli pressures" for the removal.

[Red State] The American Postal Workers Union’s National Executive Board has voted to endorse Joe Biden for President of the United States. In their decision, the Board recognized his record of advancing the cause of unions, his support for the public Postal Service, postal workers, and his opposition to postal privatization.
The union is very opposed to this concept of selling off the government service to a private sector ownership, as has been proposed. This is resisted, despite the fact that last year saw the agency lose $8.8 billion, a nearly $4 billion growth in losses from 2018. The USPS now stands with over $11 billion in debt. Yea, you’d hate to turn that success story over to a private sector entity.
Considering what a tempestuous issue this is becoming, the idea of the influential workers union lending support behind a particular candidate is more than bad optics.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Hundreds of officials who worked for former Republican President George W. Bush are set to endorse Democratic White House hopeful Joe Biden, people involved in the effort said, the latest Republican-led group coming out to oppose the re-election of Donald Trump.
The officials, who include Cabinet secretaries and other senior people in the Bush administration, have formed a political action committee - 43 Alumni for Biden - to support the former vice president in his Nov. 3 race, three organizers of the group told Reuters. Bush was the country’s 43rd president.
The Super PAC will launch on Wednesday with a website and Facebook page, they said. It plans to release "testimonial videos" praising Biden from high-profile Republicans and will hold get-out-the-vote efforts in the most competitive states.
The group is the latest of a number of Republican organizations opposing Trump’s re-election, yet another sign that he has alienated some in his own party, most recently with his response to the coronavirus pandemic and nationwide protests over racial injustice and police brutality against Black Americans.

Elite warmonger endorsement of Biden. Need anyone say more?
If Biden wins we'll be at war with Iran, Venezuela, Russia, and a couple of other countries nobody has heard of. Dead Americans, wasted money, all so they can play the game of thrones.
#8
These elites have been pushing Trump to go to war with Venezuela and Iran ever since he got into office. Russia is definitely on the list. I hope we like cemeteries full of dead Americans, because that's about what we're going to get. If you liked the Iraq war, it's going to be a whole lot worse.
#9
So the globalist open borders chamber of commerce swamp elites want a senile President they can control and manipulate to further destroy America. I for one welcome the list headed by Romney, Paul Ryan, Colin Powell, John Bolton....
Get in the game Trump... tear down anything named Bush and rename the ‘George Bush Center of Intelligence’

The DOD's budget is enormous and it's still is stretched to the limit trying to get Raider bombers, new ICBMS and Columbia class SBNNs built. Along with the ongoing costs of the F-35 and the Virginia class SSNs. It's time to stop dropping bombs and pushing troops into the line of fire and get rebuilt.

Makes you wonder how many are still working for the Feds and / or are now lobbyists, probably most of them.
At least we now have a confirming data point for the existence of the Republican Beltway Party - go along to get along, have a nice uneventful DC career, draw a pension, hit the lecture circuit, do some lobbying or get a no heavy lifting BS job at a nonprofit.

Communism isn't an economic system, it's a political system that masquerades as an economic system. that's how you can make snarky snows of support to the countries that support Iran's bomb program and are bombing Syria flat so they'll have a launch platform to use against Israel.
[SaraACarter] House Democrats on Tuesday introduced a resolution to ’investigate and consider’ impeaching Attorney General William Barr. The move comes just a few months after their failed attempt to impeach President Donald Trump.
Congressman Steve Cohen, R-TN [R?]
brought the measure to the House floor with the support of 35 co-sponsors. The group alleges that "Attorney General Barr has undermined our judicial system and perverted the rule of law."
He added, "In the past few weeks alone, Barr has ordered the attack on peaceful protestors in Lafayette Park, in violation of their constitutional rights, and moved to drop charges against Michael Flynn, the President’s former campaign advisor, despite his guilty pleas. He fired without any explanation the U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York who was overseeing investigations into the President’s associates and possibly the President himself."
"The pattern here is unmistakable. Barr obstructs justice by favoring the President’s friends and political allies. He abuses his power by using the Department of Justice to harass, intimidate and attack disfavored Americans and the President’s political opponents. My oath to support and defend the Constitution compels me to confront this corruption. Congress is a co-equal branch of government and we must get to the bottom of this and hold Bill Barr accountable."
Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Committee Rep. Jim Jordan criticized his colleagues' move saying, "Are you kidding me?", adding "Bill Barr is cleaning up the mess that Obama, Biden, and Comey created!" Strange, really. Barr with his molasses-like speed (at best) should be considered a friend of the Dems

I’ve been studying Joe Biden’s housing plans, and what I’ve seen is both surprising and frightening. I expected that a President Biden would enforce the Obama administration’s radical AFFH (Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing) regulation to the hilt. That is exactly what Biden promises to do. By itself, that would be more than enough to end America’s suburbs as we’ve known them, as I’ve explained repeatedly here at NRO.
What surprises me is that Biden has actually promised to go much further than AFFH. Biden has embraced Cory Booker’s strategy for ending single-family zoning in the suburbs and creating what you might call "little downtowns" in the suburbs. Combine the Obama-Biden administration’s radical AFFH regulation with Booker’s new strategy, and I don’t see how the suburbs can retain their ability to govern themselves. It will mean the end of local control, the end of a style of living that many people prefer to the city, and therefore the end of meaningful choice in how Americans can live. Shouldn’t voters know that this is what’s at stake in the election?

It didn't start with Joe Biden. These are dem population targeting policies and are not limited to AFFH. It's been an ongoing effort in the Sourthern arc of Atlanta for ten or fifteen years.

[Washington Examiner] Now the party of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and "the Squad," today’s Democratic Party isn’t exactly renowned for its economic literacy. But even by the Democrats’ low standards for economic policy, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s latest proposal is a doozy.
Schumer’s new bill, co-sponsored by fellow Democrat Sen. Ron Wyden of Oregon, would extend the "supercharged" unemployment benefits provided under the $2.2 trillion CARES Act, currently set to expire on July 31, through March 2021 or until state unemployment rates fall below 5.5%.
"If we fail to renew the $600-per-week increase in [unemployment insurance], millions of American families will have their legs cut out from underneath them at the worst possible time — in the middle of a pandemic, when unemployment is higher than it's been since the Great Depression," Schumer said.
The idea here is straightforward enough: Democrats such as Schumer argue we shouldn’t get rid of expanded unemployment benefits until there is no longer widespread unemployment, or else people won’t have the resources they need to weather long periods without work. But Schumer’s short-sighted solution gets the problem entirely backward — the expansion of unemployment benefits itself is one of the biggest barriers to getting the unemployment rate back down to normal levels.
Here’s why.
The deeply misguided unemployment expansion was passed as a short-term measure at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. It both expanded eligibility for unemployment benefits and augmented them with a federally funded additional $600 a week. Unfortunately, this made it more profitable to stay home on welfare than work for the majority of workers.
The economic ramifications of such skewed incentives are dire.

[IsraelTimes] Complex in Tehran’s eastern mountains said to hide underground tunnel system, missile production; authorities have claimed a gas tank blew up at a non-military facility
An explosion that rattled Iran’s capital came from an area in its eastern mountains that analysts believe hides an underground tunnel system and missile production sites, satellite photographs showed Saturday.
What went kaboom! in the incident early Friday that sent a massive fireball into the sky near Tehran remains unclear, as does the cause of the blast. The Fars news agency, which is close to the country’s ultra-conservatives, initially reported that the blast was caused by "an industrial gas tank explosion" near a facility belonging to the defense ministry. It cited an "informed source" and said the site of the incident was not related to the military.

[BREITBART] Tuesday, on his CNN program, host Chris Cuomo challenged St. Louis homeowner Mark McCloskey on the merits of his use of self-defense of life and property by brandishing a firearm in front of his home as a mob of protesters threatened him and his wife.
According to Cuomo, by doing so, McCloskey and his wife had become the "face of white resistance" to the Black Lives Matter protest movement.
"[Y]ou have been used and politically weaponized as a face of white resistance to that movement," Cuomo declared. "And that’s why I asked you that, not because that’s how you see yourself. But that’s how you are being seen. I wanted to give you a chance with counsel to respond to that. I don’t see that as an unfair question."
After several back-and-forths between Cuomo and McCloskey and his attorney Albert Watkins, Cuomo closed by reiterating his insistence McCloskey was the "white resistance."
"You were within your rights," Cuomo added. "It should be judged as such. I wanted to talk to you about the broader implication. I wanted to talk about the horrible picture of what’s going on in America right now. To me, it’s not about what’s right and wrong in a court of law. It’s what we have right and wrong about how we treat each other. That’s why the president tweeted this tweet, Mr. Watkins, you know it, and Mr. McCloskey, you know it. He retweeted it because he liked the image of white resistance to this movement, and I’m not saying that it was fair to you. But we know that’s why he did it."

Rehab facilities stateside have been a focal point for drug distribution. Typically, one condition for people who have been involved in crimes committed while drugged-up to receive relatively light sentences is for them to quit drugs, typically at a rehab center. Problem is rehab centers are a great place to peddle drugs through corrupt staff members who will both sell drugs to patients and certify that someone who has gone through the program is clean. So this is possibly a turf war.

I'm indifferent to whether narcotic drugs are legal or illegal. If legal, they should be legal all the way. If illegal, ditto, meaning that an arrest for possession should lead to an expedited trial and appeals process that ends up either in execution or acquittal within low single digit years. What Mexico has is the worst of both worlds.

[FOX8] A Christopher Columbus statue outside Columbus’ City Hall was removed early Wednesday morning.

That does not represent our great city, and we will no longer live in the shadow of our ugly past,” said Mayor Ginther. “Now is the right time to replace this statue with artwork that demonstrates our enduring fight to end racism and celebrate the themes of diversity and inclusion.”

[WASHINGTONEXAMINER] A group of protesters marched to the home of Seattle Mayor "Summer of Love" Jenny Durkan on Sunday afternoon, upset that she pledged to dismantle the police-free "Capitol Hill Organized Protest" zone, known as CHOP.
Seattle City Councilwoman Kshama Sawant joined a group of dozens of demonstrators gathered at Durkan's home who were holding signs, chanting, and demanding she leave the area alone or meet protesters' demands.
Durkan said last week that police would soon return to Seattle's East Precinct, which has been overrun by protesters who set up the CHOP zone, but gave no timetable.
Demonstrators have controlled the six-block area since June 8, saying they will not leave until the city meets a list of demands.
Defunding the local police department by at least 50% is at the top of their list. Over the last several days, multiple instances of shootings, rape, and robbery have been reported inside or near CHOP, local police said.
As of Monday, the barricades guarding the area remain intact.
Durkan's office issued a statement on the protests, saying Sawant joined the protests "without regard for the safety of the Mayor and her family."
"Mayor Durkan and her family are in the state program to keep their address confidential because of the death threats mostly related to her work as Seattle's U.S. Attorney under President Obama," a statement from the mayor's office issued Sunday read. "Instead of working to make true change, Councilmember Sawant continues to choose political stunts. Tonight she did so without regard for the safety of the Mayor and her family. The Mayor was not even home — she was working at City Hall. Seattle can and should peacefully demonstrate but should not put families and children at risk."
Durkan's office said she supported peaceful forms of protest and the Black Lives Matter movement as a whole.
"Seattle has a long tradition of peaceful protest and advocacy for progressive change, and Mayor Durkan strongly supports those rights. Mayor Durkan will continue to listen to leaders in Seattle's Black community," the mayor's office said in a statement. "She is working hard to translate the calls for change into real, tangible systemic changes to policing and all the other systems needed for strong and healthy communities. She has prioritized these as Mayor, with investments in housing, education, youth opportunity, and economic equity. She proposes investing an additional $100 million into the Black community."

I would do the Snoopy Happy Dance if those two sh1t holes fell into Puget Sound taking all the local idjits with them.
Thanks.

She is little more than an idiot that thought she could score political points by siding with the Marxists. She forgot they shoot people like her first.

Now if we could only be rid of Chief Justice Roberts....
[AMGREATNESS] A 33-year-old Black Lives Matter supporter was arrested Tuesday night in connection with the shooting of an SUV driver during a riot in downtown Provo.
Jesse Taggart, of Salt Lake City, "was booked into the Utah County Jail and held on charges of attempted aggravated murder, aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury, rioting, threatening the use of a weapon during a fight or quarrel, criminal mischief, and firing a weapon near a highway, according to Provo Police.
As American Greatness reported on Tuesday, video footage of the altercation on Monday showed someone shooting into a white SUV while it was being mobbed by violent agitators.
The driver reportedly suffered a gunshot wound, but the injury was not life-threatening.
In addition to Taggart, police also arrested 27-year-old Samantha Darling, of Ogden, "on charges of obstruction of justice and rioting."
The clean up operation began at Seattle's Capitol Hill Organized Protest (CHOP) zone on Wednesday
It came after officers in riot gear issued a dispersal order at 5am and used bicycles to herd the protesters
Eyewitness Omari Salisbury said: 'The Seattle Police Department basically reclaimed the precinct in less than 30 minutes, five feet at a time with the bicycle officers out in front.'
Pictures show trash and debris being collected by city workers with tents and protest signs taken down
Mitch McConnell said the move to shut down the zone 'is several deaths too late' after two black men were shot dead
Mayor Jenny Durkan said there has been a 525% spike in violent crimes, including rape and assault, in the area
People had occupied several blocks around a park and the Seattle Police Department's East Precinct
Police had abandoned the building June 8th, following clashes with those calling for an end to police brutality
Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best said: 'The CHOP has become lawless and brutal'
Police found 'recovered improvised spike strips—designed to puncture vehicle tires—in the area of the CHOP'
The 31 arrests were for failure to disperse, obstruction, assault, and unlawful weapon possession
Due to ongoing violence and public safety issues in the East Precinct/Cal Anderson Park area. Mayor Jenny Durkan has issued an executive order to vacate the area. Seattle police will be in the area this morning enforcing the Mayor’s order. https://t.co/SpVRYIB8egpic.twitter.com/JAt2AvUTCr

The chop eradication effort may, in part, be due to the 2 (at least) lawsuits brought against the mayorette and the city by residents and businesses impacted by the protest clowns and seattle's non-attempt to stop them.

[Slash Gear] GM may be bringing back the Hummer as an all-electric SUV, but the automaker is looking to tried-and-tested tech for the new Infantry Squad Vehicle it’s building for the US Army. The company has inked a $214.3 million deal to produce and service more than 2,000 ultra-flexible troop transports, though while they might look like Mad Max props, they’re actually surprisingly familiar.
The brief was to develop an expeditionary ISV, light and agile enough to carry nine personnel at once, at speed, through a battlefield. The vehicle needed to be tough and flexible: lightweight enough to sling underneath a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter, yet also sufficiently compact to squeeze into a CH-47 Chinook.
The Army also needed something that could withstand a low-velocity air drop by fixed-wing C-130 or C-17 transport aircraft. That’s no small order.

Recently, GM so far as shown a piss poor history of military grade trucks and transport. That's what happen when you allow MBAs to be involved in the design process.
GM used to be really great at innovative designs, then in the 70's the accountants and MBAs took over and ruined the company.

[WASHINGTONTIMES] Officials at Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, State University-Fresno are facing increasing pressure to remove a statue on campus depicting the late Indian freedom leader Mahatma Gandhi.
"How will the historian teach and explain that Gandhi was uncharitable in his attitude towards the Black race and see that we are glorifying him by erecting a statue on our campus?" asks a Change.org petition, which is nearing 5,000 signatures.
"Gandhi was deeply prejudiced against all minorities, from black Africans, Jews, to low-caste Hindus," it states. "He also demonstrated a shocking lack of morality, from sleeping naked with maiden of tender yearss to employing nonviolence merely as a tool of political expediency."

[WTOL11] Democrats Larry Sykes, Yvonne Harper, Tyrone Riley and Gary Johnson were named in a complaint Tuesday. Attorney Keith Mitchell is accused of funneling bribes.
Four Toledo City Council members and one local attorney are accused of participating in a bribery and extortion scheme that encouraged soliciting and/or accepting cash, checks, money orders or other things of value from local business owners in exchange for their votes on city council.
The scheme was revealed in a criminal complaint filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court. Named in the filing are Democratic council members Larry Sykes (At-Large), Yvonne Harper (District 4), Gary Johnson (At-Large) and Tyrone Riley (District 1).
The federal charges of bribery and extortion carry maximum penalties of 10 years and 20 years in prison, respectively, according to US Attorney Justin Herdman.
The filing in the U.S. Northern District Court describes the alleged offense of "receipt of Bribe by Agent of Organization Receiving Federal Funds" and "Hobbs Act Extortion under Color of Official Right."
According to the affidavit, the FBI started to investigate Toledo City Council in 2018 for soliciting or accepting cash, checks, money orders or other things of value.

It can't be that serious a setback if they're delaying it by less than a month. In NASA time, that's barely a few minutes. A real delay would be for five to eight years, with a budget increase of ten to twelve billion dollars.

[ConsortiumNews] After examining his record, New York Times readers should be skeptical of anything David Sanger writes, including his latest artful works of deception.
Ray McGovern, former CIA man, has many strong and varied opinions. He is a frequent commenter for Russia Today and Sputnik, and in 2003 founded Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity, which gave voice to disregarded intelligence analysts.
The New York Times is pulling out all the stops in promoting its dubious story on Russia offering bounty for dead U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan.
Wednesday’s installment, a "news analysis" by Times veteran writers David E. Sanger and Eric Schmitt, treats the allegations that Russia paid Taliban or Taliban-related terrorists to kill U.S. troops as flat fact:

Trump administration has 'struck an amazing deal' with remdesivir maker Gilead
For July, Gilead has sold its entire production of the antiviral to the US
Americans will get 90 per cent of the global supply for August and September
Rest of the world will be forced to go without the potentially life-saving drug ...or we could think of it as Gilead now has guaranteed sales —enough to enable them to pay for increasing production, allowing them to make enough fo supply the rest of the world, and at a lower price, too. But the Daily Mail reporters are generally not up on basic economics....

Indian licensees free to price Remdesivir: Gilead US drug maker to launch own brand of Covid-19 experimental drug in the country next month. Gilead has licensed the drug to four companies — Cipla, Mylan, Hetero and Jubilant Life Sciences — for sale in India, but none of these firms has received approval from the drug controller. most of the four companies are ready with their products and are awaiting nod from the regulator to manufacture and start selling the drug in the country.
A private physician in Mumbai said distributors of Hetero Pharma, one of the licensees in India, are quoting ₹7,000 per 100 mg vial for the generic version of Remdesivir — even ahead of its formal approval. At this price, a five-day full course, which was approved by the Indian authorities on Monday, would cost ₹35,000-42,000 ($463-556). Hetero declined to comment and ET could not independently verify these figures.

The maker of a drug shown to shorten recovery time for severely ill COVID-19 patients says it will charge $2,340 for a typical treatment course for people covered by government health programs in the United States and other developed countries.
Gilead Sciences announced the price Monday for remdesivir, and said the price would be $3,120 for patients with private insurance. The amount that patients pay out of pocket depends on insurance, income and other factors.

[FRONTPAGEMAG] The medicalization of racism has been backed by the American Medical Association, whose heads have called on "health institutions and physician organizations to explicitly denounce police violence" and urged "clinics, hospital and healthcare providers to review and reconsider their policies and relationships with law enforcement".
Considering the already fraught state of emergency rooms in urban areas where the victims and perpetrators of gang violence show up every weekend, that would be catastrophic. It would lead to fewer doctors, fewer ERs, and worse outcomes for black patients in urban areas.
But missing ERs and higher rates of young black men shot in urban areas are the AMA agenda.

[Breitbart] The Connecticut GOP called upon the “Democratic Party” to change its name Monday, issuing a resolution that asserts Democrats must address “the hundreds of years of racial oppression, violence, and multiple violations of human rights” associated with their party.
“We believe it is vital that every citizen know the truth about the so-called party of inclusion and acceptance,” said the state GOP Chairman J.R. Romano in a press release.
He continued:
If we are to hold Christopher Columbus accountable over 500 years after the fact, it is our duty and moral obligation to hold the Democratic Party accountable.
As recently as 1977, Joe Biden sought the support of segregationists. Biden has publicly stated that ‘you ain’t black’ unless you support the Democratic Nominee. Statements like this bring back the ugly imaginary of political cartoons like ‘Of Course He wants to vote Democrat Ticket.’”
[American Thinker] The nightmare is no product of imagination. It is real: infanticide for the purpose of organ-harvesting is real. Madeline Osburn of The Federalist reports on shocking new video of deposition testimony under oath confirming crimes worthy of comparison to Dr. Mengele:
[V]ideos of witnesses under oath show that not only did the abortion giant profit from the sale of fetal organs, but that Planned Parenthood and its business partner, Advanced Bioscience Resources (ABR), violated federal law that mandates a fetus born with a beating heart is a human being equally entitled to protections under the law.
"Placing an order for body parts from a born alive infant uses the means of interstate commerce to obtain the death of a human being through organ harvesting," Daleiden says in the video. "If the federal law is applied equally to born-alive infants, this is murder for hire."
In the video, ABR's procurement manager Perrin Larton describes how fetuses "just fall out" of some women in the operating room "once every couple months." She says she receives these intact fetuses straight from the abortion doctor and dissects them in the clinic lab for body parts. Larton is asked if those fetuses have a heartbeat. "It depends," she says. "I can see hearts that are not in an intact P.O.C. [product of conception] that are beating independently."
In a deposition with Dr. Deborah Nucatola, former medical director for Planned Parenthood Los Angles and current medical director at Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky, she admits she has had "non-viable" fetuses delivered in her facilities. When asked how she determines whether a fetus born alive is considered viable, Nucatola says it "depends on where you work" and that one way she determines a baby's viability is "the availability of interventions" at the facility.
Finally, Jon Dunn, the CEO of Planned Parenthood Orange County testifies that at least once he was made aware of a fetus born alive at his facility. The staff did not call 9-1-1 and "kept it warm and comfortable," Dunn said.
Living human beings are killed by denying them care, and their organs are harvested for profit. A grand jury is required, in my opinion.
In a new video released by the Center for Medical Progress (CMP), Planned Parenthood and abortion industry officials give sworn testimony describing how babies born alive with beating hearts in their facilities are then harvested for organs.
Since CMP’s first undercover videos, filmed by journalist and activist David Daleiden, were released in 2015, Planned Parenthood has denied that its facilities sold fetal body parts from abortions, and that their fetal tissue research programs and late-term abortion practices are in total compliance with the law.
In May, 27 Republican senators asked Attorney General William Barr to investigate how several Planned Parenthood facilities received $80 million from the coronavirus Paycheck Protection Program despite rules restricting them from receiving the money due to the number of employees the organizations have. Last week, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and former Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, also asked the DOJ and FBI to follow up on Grassley’s 2016 criminal referral of Planned Parenthood and fetal tissue procurement companies for alleged baby body part trafficking.
