#1 "When I first asked for help at the VA, I got kind of a bad attitude from one person, so I ended up leaving and not registering," he said.
One "bad attitude" and you quit? Didn't even register? Bugwit.

#3 I read this too and I came off feeling the guy wasn't really trying and wanting someone to come to him. Sorry charlie life just doesn't work that way. Way funny that Al only had one vet show up for a townhall. Kind of blast that whole "The military supports the left" diatribe out of the water. Btw I am retired and I have bad and good experience with Retired Military Health Care system. I do know that I would not want to even imagine the whole health ststem being run by Washington.

#5 Yes, it is hard for veterans these days. We can't count the number of GIs returning home with psychological troubles here. The military just uses our young as canon fodder and then tosses them to street with so much as a decent psychological prescription plan. I hear even the remote controlled fighter plane "warriors" are finding it tough to cope with our society. When will it end? With robots, that's what. We make and manufacture killer robots, thus saving the lives and minds of young men (and now women). I'm sure even a scottsburg such as Al Franken would agree.
